Deliciously amazing

Our cake received rave reviews at our wedding. Not only did it looked gorgeous but it also tasted amazing. The cake ran out for us (bride and groom) but lucky we took home the top tier and it was gone within days of taking it home. We will definitely be ordering again and again, for birthdays and special occasions, but for sure for our one year wedding anniversary.

Delicious cake!

I found Sweet Cakery through our venue, Wedgewood, and was very happy that I found them! Trying cakes during COVID was difficult to navigate, but they made it so easy. I was able to send pictures of what I wanted and the size we needed, and they were able to create exactly what I wanted. In order to try cakes, they sent me a menu of flavors to try and then I was able to come by and pick them up. My husband and I had such a great time trying all of their delicious flavors and loved that we could have 2 different flavors on our cake. We selected marble and carrot, and everyone raved about them, especially the carrots. They were able to deliver our cake and place our cake topper on it and create a beautiful display. We are so happy that we went with Sweet Cakery!

Simply The Best!

We initially worked with Simply Sweet Cakery for my mother’s 60th birthday cake and it turned out so well that we contacted them about our wedding cake. Brooke and Courtney made the overall experience so easy from the design to tasting their great flavors to the execution and delivery! They were even able to work with us on incorporating a hidden Mickey addition for our cake that we were able to get online and ship directly to them. They have a number of flavors and can customize accordingly based on what your need is which makes it easy to keep all your guests happy! Furthermore, they accommodated a last minute request for cupcakes for our event the night before and those too were a big hit with our guests!

Amazing Desserts

Simply Sweet Cakery was a pleasure to work with for our wedding a few weeks ago! They were always very responsive and worked with me as I tweaked the menu every few weeks, ha! During the take home tasting, we were able to try 5 flavors of wedding cake and we were also sent with some tasting desserts as well. Everything was so delicious and exactly what we wanted on our big day. Would definitely recommend them for your wedding or next event

Simply Sweet is the best!

Simply Sweet is the best! We hired them as our wedding cake bakery, and we couldn't have been happier with our choice. Our cake tasting appointment was so fun, since it was just the two of us with Brooke and we felt very welcomed. All of the cake flavors we tried were delicious - I think narrowing down our choices was one of the hardest parts of the entire wedding planning process! In the end we chose marble, lemon raspberry, and spice cake. Brooke did a drawing on the spot of what we wanted our cake to look like, and we went home super excited!

On our wedding day, our guests raved about the cake! It was exactly what we wanted, both style and flavor. Per my request, Brooke even made us a groom's cake with cake versions of our kitties on top - they were so detailed and the perfect way to have our fur daughters there in spirit.

I can't recommend Simply Sweet enough! Thank you Brooke and Courtney!

Simply Amazing

I had originally wanted to hire Simply Sweet Cakery for my wedding cake and dessert table, but a cake ended up being provided by my caterer. I still wanted to hire them for my dessert table since they were the only bakery I found in the area that had lemon bars!

Courtney and Brooke are extremely responsive and so open and flexible. They provided me with their recommendations based on the information I provided and were very reasonable in price. They arrived at my venue on time and set everything up while being discreet (I had them set up after the reception had already started). Everything looked simply amazing. I only was able to have a quick bite of a lemon bar while passing by during an outfit change, but everyone LOVED the desserts. All the cupcakes were gone within an hour. I would definitely hire them again for future dessert table needs.

Wonderful Experience All Around

The service was wonderful. They created a beautiful design, and the cake looked exactly like it. It was wonderful and delicious! Our only regret was not actually taking the time to eat it at our wedding, but we were having too much fun! We are excited to eat the leftovers and enjoy our anniversary cake by them next year! Jimmy and I had a wonderful experience working with Brooke at Simply Sweet Cakery! When we went for our tasting she had prepared 5 samples for us to try, each of which was delicious. My cake vision came true! Brooke nailed what I was looking for! My wedding was on the 4th of July so I wanted a fun, summer tasting cake. I decided I wanted a strawberry-lemonade cake and Brooke was on it. She created a strawberry cake with lemon mousse filling. A beautiful blush for the frosting and a navy ribbon lining the tiers. This is by far the best place to get your wedding cake in the OC, well even in CA. We tasted cakes at 4 different bakeries and this place blew everyone else out of the water. Their cakes taste absolutely divine, they work with your budget, and they are incredibly talented. Brooke really outdid herself on our wedding cake, it was even more beautiful than I thought it would be. Everyone kept complimenting on how good our wedding cake was and the attention to detail. They're also incredibly professional and well organized. I liked the fact that they always responded to my communication in a timely manner and answered all questions I had. For me, the decision was incredibly easy for us to pick Simply Sweet as our wedding cake artists!!

We hired simply sweet through our wedding venue, Hotel Laguna, as they are the preferred vendor. Our cake was beautiful and the flavors were amazing!! We had a 3-tier cake with 3 different flavors: strawberry fields forever, coconut cream and carrot cake. Unfortunately, we did not get to eat any of our cake at our wedding but the flavors tasted wonderfully at our cake tasting! We heard the strawberry flavor was everyone’s favorite! We would recommend this company to anyone who wants a simple but tasty wedding cake. I found out after hiring them (when I started looking into different cake designs), that they specialize in butter cream cakes only and would not be able to re-create the complicated design I fell in love with (not their fault, but mine for not asking specific questions before we hired them). The team was willing to work with me and created a design I loved :) Lucky for us we did not have to save the top tier as this company is supposed to give you some cake for your 1 year anniversary!!

My now husband and I had a cake tasting appointment with Brooke. She was so sweet and friendly. The flavors we tried were all amazing so it made our decision tough to pick which flavors we wanted for our cake. We ended up picking their red velvet and their sweet marble. Designing our cake was made so simple with the help of Brooke. Throughout the whole progress my emails were answered is quickly. They even offer a complimentary anniversary cake for your 1 year anniversary so you don't have to save the top tier of your cake the day of your wedding. Our wedding cake turned out EXACTLY how I wanted and it tasted AMAZING! I would highly recommend hiring them for your sweets.

I am so happy we selected Simply Sweet Cakery for our wedding cake. I unfortunately am allergic to milk so wasn't able to eat the cake, but my husband had the lucky job of trying the different flavors and picking the flavors for our cake. He told me they were all super delicious. At our wedding, we received so many compliments on how yummy the cake was. And did I mention how BEAUTIFUL the cake was? When I saw it I couldn't believe it was my cake! It was exactly what I wanted. Brooke and her team are so sweet and truly gifted at what they do. I tried to book them almost a year out but they don't usually start booking weddings until 6 months prior. I set a reminder in my phone and at the 6 month mark I emailed them immediately to book them. :) I highly recommend them without any hesitation.

Simply Sweet Cakery hands down. I first tasted their cake at my brother's wedding and instantly fell in love. However I still did my due diligence and spent some time researching and speaking to other cake vendors and no one could beat the quality and price of Simply Sweet. Brooke and Shannon are so easy to work with and super responsible. They are so experienced and professional I did not have to worry about the cake delivery whatsoever and completely trusted it would arrive in perfect beauty. The cake was not only exactly as we described, it was so delicious and the slices are huge. Small piece of advice for future brides: Don't forget to eat and/or package up part of the wedding cake! We managed to get in a couple bites but regret not getting to eat the different flavors we ordered. Our guests ate multiple pieces and raved about how delicious it was. We love Simply Sweet and the cake is actually one of the things I miss most about our wedding!

Simply Sweet is the premier bakery in Orange County. Planning a wedding is not easy, but working with SS is. From scheduling the tasting, designing your cake, and selecting your flavor, it's all a breeze, a delicious delicious breeze. My fiancé and I were lucky enough to have SS as a pre-selected bakery for our wedding cake and out of all the choices, they were the only bakery flexible enough to allow us to do a dessert table at NO EXTRA COST!! Score!!

The dessert table looked like a million dollars because they rent you their platters and pedestals for a super cheap $5 each. That lets you personalize your dessert table for next to nothing.

Now for the best part... The taste! All cakes and desserts we had were phenomenal. Our dessert table was empty at the end of the night. Literally, every item was GONE and I had so many guests telling me how fantastic the desserts were and I have Brooke and SS to thank!

We ordered a wedding cake, and 5 variation of cookies for our 10.25 wedding and couldn't be more pleased. All desserts were moist and flavorful. Everyone ate all of our cake! I was expecting to pay an arm and a leg for a wedding cake, but I was pleasantly surprised with the affordability.... I had a simple 3 tier buttercream cake.

"Hands down, best wedding cake we've ever had"- this is a direct quote from every guest at our wedding! My husband and I are so thrilled with how our cake tasted and looked. We didn't have to compromise one for the other. Brooke was super flexible and patient with the wedding cake design process, which included design drafts by my husband that defied gravity and logic. After an incredible tasting session, we ended up choosing 3 different flavours- 1 for each tier- with an illusion tier of fresh flowers in between + a dessert table filled with treats. The customer service provided by Brooke and Shannon was just as impressive as their treats. I am so pleased with how it all turned out- I only wish I still had some cake left!

Wow Wow Wow! Our wedding cake was a dream from Simply Sweet Cakery! It was absolutely delicious. Five tiers with a different flavor on each tier. We had no idea what we were looking for and they created a cake that was so unique and stunning and added ribbon and a gorgeous monogram. My florist added drapping flowers, it was a major focal point at our wedding. If I could give them 10 star I would. If you want an amazing cake, look no further!

Amazing is all I need to say! Brooke was awesome and they are so talented. We had some ideas that we threw out and she just ran with it. As we tasted their delicious samples she just sketched away and came up with a beautiful plan for our wedding cake. We couldn't have been more pleased the day of and saw that sketch come to life. Absolutely gorgeous. I would highly recommend Simply Sweet Cakery.

Our wedding cake from Simply Sweet Cakery was DELICIOUS! We got a small lemon raspberry cake for us to cut and mini cupcakes for the guests. Our guests loved the bite size cupcakes and there were none left at the end of the night. Our cake was so good, my husband and I ate the entire thing within a week (so much for saving it in the fridge for our one year anniversary)! Brooke was a pleasure to work with and understood exactly what we wanted for our cake table. We could not be happier with how everything turned out!

We used Simply Sweet Cakery for our wedding favors: two brownies with powered sugar topping. I have the highest praise for the women of Simply Sweet and would recommend them in a heartbeat! Honestly, they were most likely the "best value" of any of our wedding vendors. Their prices were beyond competitive for the area, and the customer service was absolutely fantastic. Their modest fee for boxing the brownies blew me away!

Not only were the brownies absolutely delicious, they were gluten-free! This was a big relief given that we had several guests with gluten allergies or gluten-free diets. If you're doing a sugary treat for your favors or another giveaway, you need to stop by Simply Sweet Cakery before you go with anyone else!!

Brooke and Shannon are amazing people to work with. We had a small wedding and only wanted a mini/small cake. They were able to accommodate our request and were also very flexible with all the changes in the date that we needed it. Brooke is an amazing artist when it came to the execution of how I wanted our cake as well as the flavor of the cake. I would love to work with this vendor again for any upcoming event and would highly recommend them.

Simply Sweet Cakery made the cake for my wedding in August 2014 and it was perfect! Brook captured my vision exactly based on inspiration photos I found on pinterest and describing decoration elements that I wanted. I bought the ribbon and she placed it, and my florist brought flowers to the venue and she placed it on the cake beautifully. The cake itself was delicious—guests told me it was the best wedding cake they’d had! We went with a different flavor for each tier: mocha, peanut butter and almond/hazelnut. They were all delicious! Brook was great about suggesting a sheet cake to help with the budget and advising the appropriate number of guests who would eat cake (since not everybody stays or wants cake, etc.) The team is super nice and great to work with and they were always responsive to my emails, questions and/or changes. I would highly recommend working with Simply Sweet Cakery! (We were actually deciding between Simply Sweet Cakery and another baker in the area, and went with Simply Sweet Cakery because they were more affordable and seemed easier to work with, and we couldn’t be happier with our choice!)

Simply put, the peanut butter and chocolate cake they made was the best cake I've ever had. They were super flexible and actually made each layer of our wedding cake a different flavor! We had asked them to do this mostly because all the flavors we tried were so good that we couldn't pick just one. I can't recommend them highly enough!

Our cake was beautiful! My grandma was just commenting to me today how smooth the presentation of our two-layer cake was. Brooke and her assistants did a great job and incorporated our beach wedding theme into the cake design flawlessly.

Brooke is fantastic! She met with us and had great samples for us to try. She did a great sketch of what my wife wanted and planned it all out in a simple sit down meeting. She is friendly and professional. Our cake arrived on time and was perfect in every way. It was flawless. The cake tasted great and served everyone well. All of our guests were complimentary of the cake and flavor. We chose the Sugar and Spice flavor for our recent November wedding and the chocolate/raspberry for our top tier. Their prices are very fair and worth every penny! Thank you!

My new hubby and I are so grateful to have worked with Simply Sweet to make our wedding reception magical! They helped us throw a gorgeous party, complete with "the best wedding desserts ever" according to our guest list. People particularly loved the "Twinkie-ish cupcakes" (in the guests' words), and salted caramel cookies. So fun to provide an array of delicious treats in our wedding dessert bar. :)

We looked high and low for our wedding cake and Brooke and Shannon were simply amazing! They worked with all our changes and request. its been a month since our wedding and my husband still asks if I can make a cake like theirs (we got the peanut butter and jelly cake) and though I keep saying no he still ask. It was the best experience of our whole wedding planning (I mean trying cakes at 10am, who could beat that breakfast!) The girls are amazing and make you feel so comfortable throughout everything (aka all the changes) Needless to say, we will be ordering all our cakes from them moving forward!

Simply Sweet Cakery created an absolutely wonderful cake for my wedding. Our consultation and cake tasting were a very fun treat for my husband and I during the wedding planning process. Brooke was very knowledgeable and made good suggestions for how to incorporate our two very different desires for cake flavors.

The cake turned out beautiful and it was exactly what I had hoped for. The cost of the cake was very affordable as well. They even baked yummy lemon bars that I gave out as favors. I would definitely recommend Simply Sweet!!

My wedding cake was beautiful and delicious! The cake was moist and delicious for days! I ordered cookies as well, in the shape of my Lab dog, who was suppose to be the ring bearer, but died in October. I sent Brooke a picture of Rambo and she captured him in the cookie. I love this bakery! Brooke was amazing to work with and very talented. I showed her a picture of the cake I wanted for our wedding and she replicated the cake exactly. She drew the idea by hand during our delicious cake tasting! She was so easy to work with! I had her also make cake pops as our wedding favors and she worked with us to make sure each cake pop had our signature tag on it prior, so we didn't have to do it for free! The cakes are delicious, I can't wait to get our anniversary cake! I'll be ordering other cakes from her in the future as well!

Brooke was the best!!! Our cake was delicious and gorgeous and she and her team were so easy to work with. They were very reliable and delivered the cake to the yacht (our wedding venue) with no problems what so ever. Her prices are much more reasonable than other vendors in the area and I thought her work was better. This is a wonderful bakery for your wedding cake, I highly recommend!

I can't say enough good things about Simply Sweet Cakery and their amazing desserts. They made all of the mini desserts for our dessert bar along with a a beautiful cake for our weddding, and our guests were raving about how good everything was! Unlike some of the other bakeries I looked at, Simply Sweet makes desserts that not only look pretty but taste phenomenal as well. We also used their cake pops for our favors/escort cards, and they were a big hit. Brooke and Shannon are so friendly and they make everything easy - they were willing to make changes to accomodate our special requests and they work with you to make sure that the cake and desserts turn out just the way you want them. Just make sure to order enough, because their fabulous treats will go fast!

Brooke makes the best cakes in Orange County, hands down. My mother is particularly picky about cakes, so when we were cake-tasting for my wedding, I was sure we wouldn't find anything that was up to her (admittedly a little high) standards. While we tried a few other places and no one was terrible, we weren't wowed by anyone, either. Then, we walked in to Simply Sweet, and had our minds were blown. The cake was moist and flavorful, the frosting was perfect, and the design-work was gorgeous. Every cake we tried was delicious (we went with lemon, carrot cake, and peanut butter paradise...my favorite ended up being the carrot cake).

Brooke was so easy to work with, warm, friendly, and made the entire process a breeze. She also did a few other treats for our dessert bar (cookies, brownies, mini-cupcakes, and cream puffs). All of them were fantastic. I can honestly say that working with Simply Sweet was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. They're amazing.

My husband and I both have extremely different tastes when it comes to cake. I'm a chocolate fiend and he loves carrot cake. The cakes were outstanding and I knew the minute I left the shop I wanted Brooke to make my wedding cake. She understood my vision and she allowed us to have three types of wedding cake to serve to our guests, which I thought was amazing. She is very responsive and easy to work with. I would recommend her to anyone getting married in Orange County. The best wedding cake I've ever had and I've been to plenty of weddings.

Brook was very easy to work with. After flipping through some of her previous cake designs she pointed us in the right direction and that was all we needed. She worked within our budget and delivered a cake that was beautifully designed and tasted as good as it looked. We picked zesty lemon and PB&J as our flavors. Both were delicious and the cake was very moist. We even ended up ordering cupcakes as gifts which they turned around for us very quickly.

Brooke and her crew at Simply Sweet Cakery could not have been any more, well, SWEET ;) I was planning long distance and she was so amazing with bringing my vision to life! Our cake was absolutely perfect and tasted AMAZING! I only wish I could have had more than just the little piece we did during our cake cutting! I can't wait to dig into our 1 year anniversary cake that she so generously provides for her couples.

Everything about Simply Sweet Cakery is amazing... There are so many reasons why SSC has five stars... We were married last month and dessert was at the top of my list! Excellent reviews on Yelp and wedding websites pointed me to her and I am SOOOO glad they did!

Brooke did our wedding cake, groom's cake (a surprise for him - added just a few weeks before) and desserts - 3 cupcake flavors, lemon bars, almond cookies, brownies, cracker candy, and cake pops. I knew after meeting her at our cake tasting -she was the one! Freshly baked samples (cake, frosting & filling) served at room temperature - did not have that experience at two other businesses... We showed her a picture of what we wanted and she was able to sketch the matching design. I love PB & J sandwiches so the fact that she could make that in cake form was a must have!! She offers so many cake flavors - it was hard to narrow it down - but we did.

The set up was beautiful - renting stands and plates was the way to go and provided us with a wonderful display of all our pretty sweets. I know our guests loved our treats as many of the plated items were gone before we even cut the cake!

Every part of working with Brooke was smooth, emails answered, and meeting time to figure out the day of layout. Even my last minute order of the groom's cake - which he (and our 49ner fan guests) loved!! Thanks - Brooke & Shannon for all you did to make sure our cakes & desserts were tasty and beautiful for us and our guests!!!!

I can't wait to place my next order with SSC!!! :)

We love our wedding cake! Brooke made a beautiful chocolate cake for my 7/27/13 Franciscan Gardens wedding and it was so delicious! She has a sweet personality and was communicative. Our wedding cake was soooooo good! Tosh and I had so much fun during our cake tasting session last year. We got to fully enjoy the flavors we picked with our own individual mini-cakes. We walked into her office with the singular goal of finding a flavor we both liked, back with no ideas about the actual design. Fortunately, Brooke helped us in that department with her creativity and understanding of our simple personal styles. She even let us pick two flavors for alternating tiers! We ended up with her Marble Menagerie & Triple Berry Delight for 4 tiers and our guests were delighted with the delicious flavors, texture, melt-in-your-mouth buttercream frosting, and fresh fruit infused in between layers. We definitely made a point to have a slice of our wedding cake during the reception :)

Brooke is the BEST! She is so fantastic. I looooved my one-on-one meeting with her when we brainstormed how I wanted the wedding cake to look. She immediately was on the same page as me as far as design. I had met with 3 other cake vendors and she blew them all out of the water. She was very detailed, creative and professional. In addition, the cake tasted amazing. I had so many guests say that it was the best wedding cake they had ever had. The oreo filling was the most popular and received a lot of requests for seconds! I had my meeting with her in her adorable office that was decorated super cute for Christmas. I could have selected her without even tasting the samples. Thank you for such an amazing planning experience, Brooke. When I walked into the ballroom on my wedding day, my mouth literally dropped at how beautiful the cake was. I also asked for a small tribute to my husband's favorite band be added to the cake. It's really small and intricate and she nailed it. Pick Brooke and you won't regret it!

Brooke is just amazing, and her cake is delicious! I was blown away when we made our tasting appointment and my husband and I each had individual cakes to sample! The various combinations were also so tasty and everything was so fresh and delicious. We chose two flavors (marble cake with raspberry cream and lemon) which were so good, I had 3 slices at my wedding. Our cake was very simple, just butter cream frosting and flowers but she made it look so elegant with 3 tiers and pedestals. We would highly recommend her and look forward to having her cake again on our anniversary!

I came across simply sweet cakery on yelp, because I want to work with a small business vendor vs. big name like Cinderella Cake. The owner Brooke is truly passionate about wedding cakes. She was friendly, professional, and the whole experience was wonderful. Our wedding cake turned out to be beautiful and yummy. Her price is also very resonable.

Brooke delievered an amazing cake!! it turned out gorgeous. It was so perfect everyone thought it was fake!! Cake was delish!! Brooke is so sweet, and so easy to work with. She was very flexible and really created something that was so unique to us! Thanks so much Brooke!

Brooke did such an awesome job with our cake. We showed her a picture of what we were looking for and she was able to get it exact. We got so many compliments on how great tasting our cake was! We went with the marble and red velvet. SO DELICIOUS!

Brooke of Simply Sweet Cakery made us the most BEAUTIFUL cake and the most delicious desserts! She gave us exactly what we wanted and all our guests loved her cakes and our huge dessert bar of yummy sweets from Simply Sweet Cakery! Her carrot cupcakes are awesome!

I could not stop staring at our wedding cake during our reception, it was just that gorgeous. It wasn’t only beautiful on the outside, it actually TASTED delicious. So many wedding guests told me it was the best cake they had ever had. I could not be happier with our choice to work with Brooke-I hope we have another occasion where we can get one of her cakes again! (We chose carrot and triple berry).

Our original cake vendor backed out...and we became so thankful that they did after getting introduced to Brooke! It was fate. She is simply the nicest person to work with. We had a very personalized experience when we met her several months before our wedding. During our consultation, she understood exactly what we wanted in our cake and went as far as drawing us a rough sketch to explain how she'd work on it. It was a two-tiered buttercream cake with gilded/gold-dusted fresh figs placed around it (very earthy). As for the cake itself, Brooke prepared our samples as cupcakes in to-go boxes during our visit. How brilliant, I thought, because we could take them home afterwards and not have to feel rushed to try out everything in one sitting. We chose the German chocolate and spice flavors. Our wedding guests LOVED the texture and richness of the cake - they were literally asking for seconds (and thirds). Some even asked to take any leftovers home. It was that good! The cake design came out exactly the way we had imagined. The details were all there, and Brooke even placed in chocolate fig leaves to add in that special touch; they came as a total surprise. We felt so special from beginning to end! Thank you so, so much!!

Brooke was awesome to work with! She was very quick to respond to emails and professional! Brooke did not overwhelm us with cake choices and made the process easy for us. Her cakes tasted amazing and when we couldn’t choose between two flavors, she let us have three! Brooke’s execution of the design of our wedding cake was beautifully done, simple yet elegant—just what we were looking for! Our guests enjoyed the different flavors during our wedding; they were even fighting for the last known piece! It still amazes us till this day that she does and delivers all her cakes mostly by herself! Thank you Brooke, we really loved loved the cake! We can’t wait until we get our 1 year anniversary cake!

My wedding cake knocked it out of the park!

I had three flavors, mixed berry, toffee crunch, and tiramisu, and people were crazy about all 3. The cake itself looked so beautiful and Brooke, who I worked with, was so nice and a complete professional from day 1. Brooke also helped to work within my budget to get me a gorgeous and delicious wedding cake at a price I could afford, which I am so grateful for.

We were so pleased with Brooke and her wonderful services. She had a tasting with us which was very professional and tasted great. She is such a sweet person and very caring to our needs and our vision. We decide on wedding cupcakes with a small cutting cake on the top which was amazing! We had so many compliments throughout the night on the display & the choices of cake/ frosting. It was a wonderful choice to go with Brooke and her prices were very reasonable. Very much recommended, can't wait to have her make our next cake!

Brooke is beyond sweet and such a pleasure to work with! My husband and I love her! We wanted a small square cake to cut for pictures and cupcakes for our special day, and she captured the look, style, and colors exactly! Brooke from Simply Sweet Cakery is awesome. My wedding cake looked amazing, but most importantly it was absolutely delicious. This is not your typical somewhat dry, way too sweet wedding cake. Brooke made us a beautiful three layer round cake. The top and bottom tiers had a textured buttercream icing that looked like the texture of my dress and the center tier was smooth. It was amazing how smooth it was, it looked like fondant but still tasted delicious! She also made an adorable cake stand for us out of the fabric we used for our table runners, which I loved! She wrapped a gorgeous piece of lace around the middle tier and accented the tiers with fresh flowers that matched our bouquets. It was stunning.

But really, the most important part was that it was absolutely delicious. I was planning my wedding from the East Coast so I took Brooke's recommendations for the cake flavors and they were perfect. My favorites were the Zesty Lemon and Triple Berry Delight, but the Toffee Crunch tier was great for the chocolate lovers in our group. The cake was super moist and really really good. The icing was creamy and not too sweet. My husband and I ate a piece from each tier that night...and I had more for breakfast the next day. :)

Oh, and the cake was very affordable. I highly recommend!!

Can't say enough good things about Brooke from Simply Sweet Cakery. She was so sweet and helpful. She gave us a tasting of 4 flavors before the wedding, kept in touch and showed up just like she said she would. She was so quiet I never even knew she was there. She came in, set up and left. I was complimented on the cake and cupcakes constantly and people are still talking about them. Great cake for a great price

First of all - cake aside - Brooke is an amazing person! She was so nice and welcoming. She was completely open to ideas and suggestions. She has a ton of pictures to get inspiration from if you need it. She was punctual and professional. In terms of the cake, the flavors were heavenly. We sampled a few and had trouble deciding so we chose 3 flavors for our wedding cake because they were all SOOO GOOD. My now husband is very picky about the way his vanilla cake tastes and he LOVED Brooke's version. We chose vanilla cake with berries, strawberry cake with strawberries, and red velvet with cream cheese frosting for our July wedding. Our guests loved all of them and we did too. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Simply Sweet Cakery. You won't be disappointed.

Brooke is so sweet and easy to work with! The cake she delivered was delicious, and I love that she advocates tasty buttercream over fondant. Our cake was a work of art; one of our guests plucked all the sugar flowers from the table after the party and took them home! The only nitpicks I had were: she forgot one minor design element (or omitted it, which is okay by me if that's the case, artistic license!), and the flavor of the raspberry mousse filling was not as strong as it was in the sample (fewer raspberries). That said, we definitely still enjoyed and loved our cake! Our guests were enamored of it, and we love looking back at her work in photos. We recommend the marble menagerie flavor, it was a hit!

We were very very happy we went with simply sweet cakery.

Brooke appears to have two wedding wire entries, when we worked with her her bakery was in Newport Beach, CA, but if you are looking for more reviews check the other listing too!

Brooke makes the most amazing cakes. It was delicious, fresh and unique. She was even able to make a delicious layer of gluten free cake for me! This is bar none the best wedding cake ever.

Brooke's cakes are to die for! At our tasting everything was delicious it was difficult for us to decide what to get, but after talking to her about what our families generally enjoyed we decided the lemon cake was the way to go. And we're so happy that we did because everyone enjoyed it! Not only did our cake turnout exactly the way we had envisioned it, but it tasted just as we remembered it, if not better! I've had friends and family members ask me who made our cake, because they want to order one for their next birthday or event! Brooke was such a joy to work with. I can't wait to order another cake from her.

Brooke is so wonderful!! She took so much time and interest in us as a couple when we went to do our tasting and on top of her being so great her cakes are delicious and resonably priced. She created a cake design for us during our tasting and the cake we got on our wedding day was exactly as she had designed it. She has some really unique cake flavors along with more traditional ones. Everything we tried was wonderful. For our cake we went with the mixed berry for one tier and the lemon for the other tiers. I would highly recommend her to anyone!!

My wedding planner referred me to Simply Sweet Cakery for my wedding day. My planner set up a tasting and all I can say is OMG! Every flavor was better than the next. Using Simply Sweet Cakery was a no brainer. Your taste buds will make your mind up for you. Simply Sweet Cakery's prices are extremely reasonable. My guests could not stop talking about the cake, many said it was the best cake they ever had and I agree. I would definitely recommend Simply Sweet Cakery for your bakery needs!

Brooke is absolutely sweet. I thought it was amazing how she sketched up the cake in a matter of seconds and it looked exactly like the real thing. The cake was just as I imagined it to look like and the taste was great as well. She was professional in every way. She had samples made for both the husband and I and even had to-go boxes for us to take the leftovers in. The cake was so delicious that people were asking for seconds. Thanks Brooke!

We loved our wedding cake. I had people sending me messages the next day saying it was the best wedding cake they ever had. I would for sure use Brooke again. The cake was awesome.
