I cannot begin to describe just how magical it is to work with Simone and Calvin. Simone was so perfect and captured all of our best moments and we had such a blast working with her. Calvin was a boss in capturing our day perfectly! Our wedding day was VERY windy and Calvin managed to edit out all of the wind so our audio was perfect! They made our day incredibly easy and stress-free. My husband and I will not hesitate to recommend these two to anyone getting married, or if they just need a photographer and/or videographer for their event. They were both wonderfully professional and people we now consider friends! -

I found Simone Photography from her posts on Instagram. It was then serendipitous that she was located within proximity of our wedding venue. After an online consult, there was no doubt she was our wedding photographer. Her personality is exactly what one looks for in a photographer when wanting to capture their special moments. She is non judgement, fun, and will ensure every moment is captured beautifully. Her editing style is natural and makes all the right things "pop". My husband and are are pretty awkward and not the photographic type, however, we enjoyed our engagement shoot so much we ended up also booking videography through her as well. Her videographer, Calvin, was just as fantastic. My husband was nervous that having video taken during the wedding day would be distracting yet reflected back and said he didn't notice at all. They both gave good direction when it came to taking group photos and captured all our heart warming and silly moments better than I could of hoped for. They both took in account any request we made and didn't miss a single thing. Needless to say I can not recommend Simone Photograph and Videography more! -

Just book Simone!!!
We loved all our wedding vendors, but Simone was our absolute favorite choice we made for our wedding day. I truly cannot say enough good things about her! We immediately felt comfortable with her from the engagement shoot (and my husband and I had never taken professional pictures before) and were laughing with Simone the whole time. She and Chantalle brought the absolute best vibe on our wedding day and we had so much fun while also capturing the most stunning pictures I could have imagined. My day-of coordinator was shocked when we finished our first look and family photos so early and were actually able to attend our entire cocktail hour with our guests! We were able to feel like our entire day wasn’t a photoshoot which is exactly what we wanted - yet we got so many beautiful photos just from the sneak peek! Her pricing is also very competitive. We decided not to hire a videographer due to budget and I have no regrets since the photos captured the day so well! Simone didn’t feel like a regular vendor, she felt like a friend who was helping to capture our day and having fun with us along the way! Thank you Simone and Chantalle for helping us have the best day ever!! -

Simone is the best!!!
We cannot recommend Simone more!!! From the very first time we met her, she made my husband and me feel so comfortable and at ease. We used Simone for our engagement photos, wedding, and my boudoir shoot—and every single experience was so fun and amazing.
We’re incredibly thankful we found her and her husband to capture all of our special moments. We’ll definitely be using them for all of our future events, no question!!!

I cannot say enough good things about both Simone and Calvin! My husband and I were fortunate enough to work with them for both our engagement session (for which they were fully on board for my crazy ideas) and our wedding! Simone also shot a boudoir session for me and made it so much fun and comfortable-in fact I highly recommend every women does one of these sessions. Simone and Calvin are so much fun, light-hearted, adventurous and at the same time very professional, prompt, directive. I have already recommended Simone to friends and colleagues I have getting married and will recommend her and Calvin a million times over again! -

Simone was an absolute dream to work with as our engagement and wedding photographer! She went above and beyond, not only capturing stunning photos but also being incredibly involved in the planning process, attending both in person and virtual meetings. She took charge of mapping out timelines and ensuring every special moment would be preserved beautifully.
On the wedding day, Simone blended seamlessly with our guests and brought such a positive energy that everyone kept telling us how much they loved her! She made us and all of our guests feel completely at ease throughout the day. Multiple friends have even reached out too inquire about booking her for their own weddings!
Looking through our gallery immediately transported us back to our wedding day. The photos are breathtaking—a perfect mix of images that capture the deep emotion of the day alongside stunning, artistic shots that will hang on our walls for years. She is a wizard with her camera, and I am still amazed at the quality and elegant touch in all of the pictures. Highly recommend her to anyone wanting a photographer who’s both a professional and a joy to work with! -

Choosing Simone was a no-brainer for us! I first found her after searching through so many websites and photographers, her stuff was so great and she was super communicative with us via email and social media. She made us feel so so comfortable while also being professional. We've never had such good photos taken of us, particularly because we're so awkward. So thank you so much Simone!! Who you pick to be your wedding vendors, and especially your photographer, will have such an impact on your day and it's important to work with someone you trust and feel comfortable with. From our first conversation with Simone more than a year before our wedding we got the best vibe from her - upbeat, accommodating, and chill. That carried through on each interaction we had with her, and they are amazing qualities to have in a photographer as those traits made us so relaxed in front of the camera. Simone, our photographer, and Calvin, our videographer, were the absolute sweetest people we’ve ever worked with! One important tip when hiring a photographer and videographer for your wedding: they’ll be by your side the entire day, so it’s crucial to choose someone who makes you feel comfortable and can capture your true self. Simone and Calvin did exactly that for us. We also did our engagement photoshoot with Simone, and even in the rain, she was able to capture the beauty of the moment. She was absolutely fantastic working with our dog as well, making the whole experience even more special. By the time our wedding day arrived, we were completely confident in Simone's skills, and she and Calvin exceeded our expectations. We can’t say enough how much they contributed to making our day so special. We received our engagement photos a week after shoot, and sneak peek photos and video for our wedding the day after our wedding, both far ahead of schedule, and we can already tell the quality of the photos and video and the moments they captured were AMAZING! My husband and I absolutely LOVED working with Simone! She is truly talented. We both are a little awkward about taking photos so we wanted someone who made us feel natural and comfortable, Simone was the perfect match for us. I had some ideas about what I thought I'd like and Simone took those ideas and grew them into the most spectacular photos. To top off our great experience, our family loved her as well. She even took time to share some neat tips for my MIL with her new camera. We will certainly make more trips out to Colorado for family photos! -

If I could give 10 stars, I would!! Simone is not only an extremely talented photographer, she is lovely to be around. She did our engagement photos, my boudoir photos, our wedding photos and even helped my husband put on a family photo shoot event for his clients. Simone is fun, funny and makes you feel so relaxed, confident and comfortable while taking photos. Simone listened to what we (I) wanted in every photo shoot in regards to the vibe, poses and the editing. She coached us through different poses and movements to make sure she got the perfect shots. Our engagement photos perfectly captured our playful love and the beautiful Colorado scenery. Our wedding photos were exactly what I wanted (mostly candid photos) - she truly captured the day perfectly. I genuinely feel like we are reliving the day when I look back at photos and its so fun to see parts of my wedding that I didn't even notice were going on. Simone has incredible energy and organization (she was previously a teacher) so she was able to command our family and bridal party and move us through all the formal pictures quickly which was so important to us. We did not want our wedding day to feel like a photoshoot. Then she seamlessly slid into the background and captured candids the rest of the day. Many of our couple friends have also used Simone because of how great they saw all of our photos turn out. Simone is simply the best and we couldn't recommend her enough!!!! -

Simone Schiess was a dream photographer and by far the best choice we could have made for capturing the moments, memories and magic of our wedding. She was personable, professional and the perfect balance of engaging and efficient. As we revisited our album of all the amazing images she captured, we were in tears of joy and appreciation reliving the most spectacular day of our life. We got to see moments we hadn't witnessed personally, the faces of our friends and family during the ceremony, speeches and our first dance that truly touched our hearts. Our formal photos are gorgeous and so are the candid shots she got of us getting ready, the ceremony, reception and speeches. One of my family members familiar with film and photography – who wasn't present at our wedding – asked how many assistants she had to capture the comprehensive photography that he was looking at. He was flabbergasted to learn that it was all done by a one person with two cameras on a holster sling! There are a lot of photographers out there, but Simone was the perfect fit for our personality, our community and our wedding! -

Incredible and Fun Photographer!
We LOVED working with Simone Schiess Photography! Simone is so good at making you feel comfortable, the perfect combination of fun and professional. We are so grateful she was who we got to hang out with on our wedding day! Simone and Calvin were both very flexible as it rained through our outdoor ceremony and helped keep us calm. People always say that you can only prepare so much for your big day and that is 100% accurate. Our original photographer who we scheduled over a year in advance showed up one day too early. Yeah…the worst thing that could have happened, like actually happened. Luckily, Simone was the backup and with less than a 24 hour notice she agreed to fill in and made an impromptu trip to Breckenridge, CO. We have never met her and that honestly didn’t even matter. She was super inviting, warm, and just jumped right on in. It was just what we needed and she just naturally blended in and integrated herself throughout the events of the evening. I am a firm believer that all things happen for a reason and if the mishap didn’t happen, we wouldn’t have had the wonderful opportunity of crossing paths. Not only is she a wiz at photography but she is also a wonderful human being with a sincere soul. She strives to make the whole day centered around the things that are most important to you and I would highly recommend her to anyone because her personable interactions make all of the difference. We admire her style, keen perspective, and attention to detail. Not only did I receive a lot of praise on our photos but I also had multiple wedding attendees let me know how kind Simone was. It was one of the best weekends of our life and Simone was a key factor in making that happen! -

Simone Schiess Photography from start to finish was a delight to work with. Simone is an excellent communicator. She always got right back to us with questions and the order of operations so we knew what to expect. Simone asked thoughtful questions that helped to shape not just a photo shoot but an experience leading up to the wedding.
Day of, Simone seemed to be everywhere calm and collected while winning the hearts of our friends and loved ones with each memory she captured. Simone's warm, inviting demeanor while directing shots, made the experience feel effortless and now we have stunning, creative images we love so much! One of the most consistent retellings about our wedding day by our guests was, Simone and how great she was. -

Love love love
We worked with Simone for our engagement and wedding photography, and we can't recommend her more. My husband and I are fairly camera shy, and Simone worked really hard to make us feel comfortable. Simone was professional and dependable, and it was really invaluable on our wedding day that we could completely trust her to make sure we got all the photos we needed. Our families all commented on how much they enjoyed working with Simone, and our families truly treasure the images she created. We also hired Calvin to be a second shooter, and we were so happy we did! We love that we have multiple shots from important moments on our wedding day. I'm so happy with how our photos turned out, and I'm so grateful that we look so natural and comfortable in our images. Simone has a beautiful eye and is a gentle editor who made sure we looked great without over-editing our images. Simone and Calvin have become dear friends through the process of getting ready for our wedding, and we're so lucky we found them :) -

Best photographer ever!
Ok. Hire this lady RFN (Right F****** Now). My jaw has hit the floor so many times after getting photos back from her, it doesn't even close right anymore. Simone did our engagement shoot and our wedding and I have endless compliments for this woman. She is personable and fun and makes you feel so comfortable. Her shooting style is unmatched, except maybe by her editing style which is simple and beautiful. She is incredibly organized and great at running the wedding day. She can really rally a wedding party together which is KEY for a successful wedding photo experience. She is patient and kind and just a BLAST to be with.
Hire her and let's make her famous!

I'd 10 out of 10 recommend Simone. My wedding was pretty non-traditional and Simone quickly adapted to the changes in language and events that my partner and I wanted to incorporate. And like most family events, there was plenty of family drama that Simone handled seamlessly - she was able to accommodate what getting multiple shots with different configurations of family so there was a photo that could make each family member happy. Simone is also great with kids and was able to get ALL of the little ones actually looking at the camera which was honestly shocking to me! I was worried about feeling judged by my photographer for some aspects of my life that are not what most people would expect, but I did not for one second feel judged by Simone. She made me feel at ease and cared for during the event, and in the photo editing process. Simone got us some "sneak peaks" quickly and my partner and I pretty much gasped over every single one! The rest of the photos came a few weeks later and they are wonderful. Hire Simone! You won't regret it. -

We are so happy that we found, Simone, the perfect photographer for our wedding. Her warm and funny personality made us feel very confident that she'd be a perfect addition for our wedding day. Before our wedding, we had several discussions about what we envisioned the day would be. She listened intently and was well-prepared when the day came. On our day, she worked very hard, taking a variety of pictures at several different locations. She never stopped! In the end, the wedding pictures were full of smiles, laughter, happy tears and captured the magic of the entire day. Now we have beautiful pictures that we will cherish for a lifetime. We worked with Simone for engagement photos and our wedding day in August of 2021, she is AMAZING! The engagement photos were a great opportunity to get comfortable in front of the camera before our big day. We went to one of our favorite local hikes at sunset and had so much fun. Our wedding was a small event and Simone and her second shooter (Calvin) did a fantastic job. They perfectly captured the ceremony and efficiently went through our formal photos with family and friends. It was also definitely worth it to have them get ready with us and stay for part of the reception. We are so grateful to Simone and can’t wait to work with her again for other special events in our lives. -

Simone was a sensational photographer for our wedding. She met us with a calm and open energy and listened to what we were looking for at our walkthrough. She was exactly on time for the day and rolled with the chaotic flow of the wedding like a true champ. She made friends with our relatives, joked and laughed our way through the group photos. I appreciated when she gave us a bit of a nudge about some photos we would regret not taking. A few times she pulled us aside to take photos on the water at sunset, and in the moonlight- they are so cute! Full send recommend!! -

Simone Understands the Assignment 100%
Simone did our engagement session and was the primary photographer at our wedding, and we couldn't be happier with the results. Not only is she the epitome of professional, we chose her because she gave off an energy that made the photos seem less forced and more natural. Simone's style is a mix of candid and posed which worked well for our wedding where you want "the moment" captured and need to nail the family photos and, boy, did she ever. She worked us through the nerves, the inclement weather, the questionable party-goer decisions, and was so patient through it all. Simone just made everything okay, which meant we were okay and able to enjoy our day that much more. As reference, I'd say on a scale from 1 - 5 (with 5 being most Type A), we're solid 4's, and have the utmost trust in her ability. I would 100% hire Simone again and would feel most confident in that choice. -

Simone was absolutely amazing at our wedding! My wife and I are a little bit shy about taking pictures together and in general. We both feel kind of awkward! As a LGBTQ+ couple, it can be a little bit intimidating to have your pictures taken, because a lot of the examples of weddings that you see are heterosexual couples, so we didn't really have a vision to build off of. When we relayed that to her during our initial meeting, she told us not to worry and that she would make sure we didn't look awkward in our photos! On the day of our wedding, Simone helped to make us extremely comfortable, and as a result, we have some really incredible pictures! She also remembered all the special photos we wanted to take with our families, and was able to rally the troops quickly and efficiently so we could all get to the cocktail hour! We are so happy with the quality of our pictures and would 100% use Simone again in the future! She's the best!
