My husband and I are sort of awkward and not great with photo taking, so we were a little nervous about finding the right photographer to capture our engagement and wedding photos. But Simone is AMAZING and you should definitley hire her. She is fun, bright, and bubbly - immediately relaxing you. She doesn't give you weird poses. And overall was such a joy to have at the wedding. Her work speaks for itself (absolutely stunning photos). Hire her!! -

Amazing photos!
Simone was amazing! She was very knowledgeable about SF City Hall and took some amazing photos of us there. We added an extra hour to have some reception photos and they also came out amazing. Working with her was very easy and pleasant. She made our friends and family feel super comfortable. -

Simone is the best!
Hiring Simone was the best decision we made! She was a joy to plan and collaborate with, she was super professional, she has infectious energy and she takes amazing photos. Seriously, we could not have been happier with our choice to hire Simone. We love our engagement and wedding photos but more importantly, we loved spending our wedding day with her. Having someone take your photos who you feel comfortable around is so important, and we had so much fun with Simone on our wedding day. Our family and friends were all so impressed with her. Her beautiful work speaks for itself. Do yourself a favor and call her!! -

Great experience and photos
Simone is amazing! She has photographed so many big moments for my family, including most recently my wedding. She is so easy to work with and her photos are gorgeous. Simone is passionate about what she does, has an amazing eye for good lighting, and values the authentic story her photos tell. So grateful to her for capturing our day! -

Simone was the absolute best to work with, and captured our day beautifully. Through all of the planning and during the day, Simone was incredibly responsive, prepared, and the most cheerful presence. She kept us laughing and comfortable in front of the camera, and the photos turned out better than I could have ever hoped. -

Every aspect of working with Simone is extraordinary. Hiring someone to capture one of the most important days of your life is no small task and Simone brought joy, efficiency, organization and exceptional skill to our wedding day. My family was so impressed by the breadth of her work that they mistakenly assumed that the two videographers on hand also played a part in capturing photos—that's how good she is! I also can't stress how important it is to feel comfortable with and like the person who plays such an intimate role in your wedding day and Simone, without a doubt, is that person. -

After talking to a few photographers, we decided to go with Simone because she sounded so knowledgeable, friendly, and enthusiastic. I am so happy with that decision! Her professionalism is unparalleled. She’s quick to answer emails, everything is straightforward with her website and contract, and she’s always one step ahead of you. I don’t really know about photography and I’ve never planned a wedding before, so I had a lot of questions. Simone answered them all in a nonjudgmental way, and she struck a balance between hearing me out and offering her experienced opinion. She was also happy to answer miscellaneous questions about wedding planning that didn’t have to do with photography. Her role on our wedding day was perfect. She worked so hard—she seemed to be everywhere! Whenever we were getting together with some people who wanted a photo with us, Simone would almost magically appear. She kept everyone relaxed and smiling in front of the camera. She also did little helpful things that I really appreciated, like taking my napkin so I wouldn’t be holding it in the picture. And the pictures speak for themselves. She captured so much joy from all our guests on our wedding day. We had about 120 people, and we have priceless photos of all but one or two of them. Thank you, Simone! For anyone looking for a wedding or event photographer, I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to recommend Simone. -

It's hard to express how wonderful our experience was with Simone. We booked her for our engagement and wedding photos, and every single one is stunning. It looks like we were married in a fairytale--she even captured the gnats in such a gorgeous light that they look like fireflies. It's impossible to pick out favorites. On top of that, she managed to get a great photo of every one of our guests.
Not only is Simone a tremendous photographer, she is a lovely person, and a total professional. She made us immediately feel comfortable, and we had so much fun taking photos with her. She also knew our venue better than we did, and provided advice for the timeline (and the wedding itself!). So many of our friends and family came up to us after the wedding not only to tell us how beautiful our photos were, but also to express how fun and kind she was. We can't recommend Simone highly enough! -

We first saw her works online and decided that we wanted her to photograph our wedding. Simone is very easy to talk to and we never had a dull moment during our photoshoots. She made sure we were comfortable and directed us on what to do or how to pose for the formal shots. There were also a lot of beautiful candid shots during our ceremony and reception.
We're happy to receive the final photos just a few days after the wedding. And I like that they're all conveniently placed in an online gallery which we can easily browse and download. The photos turned out really great.. just exactly how we wanted it to be. It's nice to bring back the memories of our special day just by looking at the photos that captured even the small details of our wedding and the laughters, smiles and facial expressions of everyone.
Simone is really good in what she does and we're happy that we chose her to be our wedding photographer! -

Perfect photographer for our wedding
Booking Simone was the best choice we made for our wedding - and we hosted 3 different events! From start to finish, Simone was incredibly friendly, responsive, and helpful. When I saw her photos online I was immediately drawn to her style, and after learning about her reasonable prices, I was very set on booking her!
My husband and I live abroad, so finding a time to meet over Skype was tricky with the different time zones. Even so, Simone made time to meet us while she was on a vacation in Europe. I was the planner and coordinator for our small wedding, so it was incredibly helpful to have someone who knew exactly what they were doing when it came to weddings, and helped us put together not only the photo schedule, but the whole wedding schedule! Simone was available over email for the months leading up to the event and answered all of my questions in detail.
On the day of, she was super positive and professional and made my husband, my guests and me all feel super comfortable in front of the camera. She kept the photos perfectly to schedule, and captured many wonderful moments on film. She delivered our edited photo gallery to us in less than a week after the event(!) and we absolutely love how the pictures came out.
Simone, thank you so much in helping us have a beautiful and (relatively) stress-free wedding, and for the photos which we will cherish forever! -

Simone Anne is an amazing photographer! I have used her for both my college graduation photos and my recent engagement photos, and the pictures came out so beautifully. She really has a way of making you feel very relaxed during the shoot, and she just has such a unique eye for capturing the perfect photo. We were able to get so many different shots that we will be able to use throughout the wedding process.
Simone is such a bubbly and fun person, you can't help but smile when you are with her. She took all of my wants and needs into account for our engagement session, and was super flexible when we had to reschedule due to weather. She captured me and my fiance's personalities so well and encouraged us to have fun during the shoot. I can't stop staring at all of our photos! You get a lot of content for such a great price! -

I wish I could give a million stars! Simone photographed our engagement and wedding and was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. She was easy to communicate with when arranging logistics and always responded quickly. She has a wonderful way of putting people at ease and lightening the mood. If there are any nerves or tensions, her contagious laugh will quickly ease them! It feels like having an old friend there who happens to be taking photos. She even bustled my dress for me!
Simone showed up early on our wedding day and got all of the shots I wanted without ever getting in the way or being obtrusive. Her photography told the story of our big day- from the meaningful little moments to the overall vibe- without ever looking staged or cliche. She is incredibly dedicated to getting the right shot, even if it means clearing trash from the bushes in the corner of the frame or picking tiny sticks out of the bottom of your dress.
Another advantage is her curation of the photos. You don't get bombarded by a million pictures of your wedding that you then have to sort through. Instead, she assembles an album of her favorites and then a larger pool separated by stages of the day (getting ready, ceremony, reception, etc). It is obvious that she puts a lot of work into selecting and editing photos, but she still got them back to us ridiculously quickly. Picking a wedding photographer is one of the more stressful parts of wedding planning, but you can't go wrong with Simone! -
Nina Sent on 11/07/2017We discovered Simone through a friend who used her for their engagement photos, and we are SO lucky to have found her! Her photos are magical.
When we met up with Simone on the day of our San Francisco City Hall wedding, we were already flustered, as quite a few family and friends had arrived early for our 2pm ceremony (we were having our couples shots done before our ceremony on the Mayor's Balcony). She leapt into action when she saw us and pulled us away for couple shots, and after 30 minutes of hustling around City Hall taking photos, I was relaxed and had forgotten how nervous I was. She is just so much fun to be around. I'm pretty sure my husband and I don't have a future as models, but Simone has made us look relaxed and happy (and attractive!) - what more could you want on your wedding day?
- We were in direct sunlight for the whole ceremony itself. I was sure those photos wouldn't come out, but they were some of my favorites of the day! Her skill with light is otherworldly.
- I was worried we wouldn't have enough time for photos before the ceremony, but we got so many beautiful pictures I don't know what to do with them all!
- We had group photos after the ceremony, and Simone was able to kindly but firmly get the right people into the right spots for our various formal arrangements. We had 60 folks in a tight space, and it was an uncomfortably hot day for a bunch of San Franciscans, but Simone handled it all with grace!
- We had family asking us for days afterwards if Simone was a friend because she was so natural and comfortable with everyone.
- Most importantly - our photos are GORGEOUS! I'm having trouble choosing which to print and frame. We also got them back before we got back from our honeymoon - Simone is a star!
I'd hire her again in a heartbeat - in fact I wish I had another reason to do so already :) -

Being someone who, personally, loves taking photos and scrapbooking those photos to preserve memories, I knew the wedding photos were one of the most important aspects of the wedding for me. (Aside from of course, marrying the love of my life with my loved ones close.) Because of that fact, I had high expectations of Simone and her photos... and oh my goodness, she surpassed every hope and expectation I had. She was so fantastic, as a photographer of course, but as a person as well. My husband (to-be at the time) and I were so nervous, but she kept calm.. smiling and laughing, making it impossible for us not to do the same. She was so organized and efficient - not even blinking an eye when my two sisters and I ran around frantically, realizing we were running late getting ready. Somehow she made time for all the photos we wanted anyway. During the ceremony and reception she was a photo ninja with how quickly and quietly she moved around. She even took the time to bring us glasses of champagne. We received a number of compliments from friends and family about how friendly, and overall great she was.
When looking for a photographer, I wanted someone who not only captured the love between my husband and I, but someone who also took the time to capture the happiness and love of our friends and family. I didn't want all googly-eyed cheeseball photos of me. I wanted real emotions and reactions of the ones closest to my husband and I. Simone delivered on that: photos of my grandma crying, our friend's new baby smiling, my sister dancing... All memories I won't ever forget now. Not to mention, my husband and I ended up with dozens of beautifully romantic photos of the two of us. Simone incorporated the lovely scenery along with her skill to find perfect lighting and gave us photos that look straight out of a fairytale. After receiving our photos and being completely blown away, I've been brainstorming what big event we can hire her for next! -

Simone is a truly wonderful photographer - we retained her to take the photos for our wedding and couldn't have been more happy. Not only were her photographs amazing, but she fit in perfectly to our small wedding group (6 people): friendly and engaging, but also completely professional. We wouldn't even look for anyone else.
