The most stunning flowers I’ve ever seen!

Soo Son from Silverstems did the flowers for two events before and after my son’s and daughter in law’s wedding in July in Annapolis, Maryland. The first one was a rehearsal dinner at the Annapolis Waterfront Hotel in the ballroom with a beautiful patio overlooking the harbor. The second event was the after-wedding brunch at the Westin Hotel in Annapolis.

I contacted Soo Son less than 2 months before the wedding and we had a couple of telephone conversations and the rest of our communications were done by email. She took my ideas and turned them into the most spectacular flower arrangements I have ever seen. For the rehearsal dinner, I sent her two inspiration photos and we talked about slightly rustic arrangements in square wooden boxes. I asked her to include the bride’s favorite – succulents – and she incorporated them beautifully. The flowers were just gorgeous. Soo Son did a variety of arrangements and the guests were really thrilled when I invited some of them to take them home.

For the brunch, I had a crazy idea of modern, Asian inspired arrangements. I sent her some pictures as examples. Soo Son exceeded anything I could ever have imagined. They were breathtaking. In addition to the vertical modern table arrangements on each table, Soo Son also did 2 bigger ones for display tables. And, wow!!! Imagine the most striking and stunning arrangements you’ve ever seen and that’s what we had. They were truly remarkable.

The funny thing was since we were planning so close to the time of the events, we never actually had the opportunity to meet in person. That makes it even more astonishing that Soo Son was able to create the arrangements of my (and the bride’s) dreams. I can’t recommend Soo Son and Silverstems more highly.

We were blown away by how gorgeous the centerpieces were for our reception. My bouquet was just perfect, too. I would recommend this florist for your wedding. They were very affordable without compromising in quality.

Fantastic Florist

Thank you, thank you, thank you for the most beautiful flowers I have ever seen! The flowers made the whole reception area elegant! People were constantly commenting about them and taking pictures. The bridal party flowers were spectacular! Soo at Silver Stems has incredible talent!!! I seriously can't thank you enough for being a part of this special day!

Soo really worked hard to create a wedding arch which fulfills the bride's needs even we did not have enough time until the wedding day, it was a difficult request and also we did not have a chance to meet Soo, since we only have an office in Tokyo. We are sure Soo is the best florist around Annapolis.

Soo is an incredibly talented florist. She has done the floral centerpieces and the bouquets for bride/bridesmaids at both my older sister's Annapolis wedding 3 years ago and my own Washington D.C. wedding this summer. We were blown away both times by her professionalism, her responsiveness, and most importantly the BEAUTIFUL flowers that she arranges. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Soo was so great to work with, she was very patient with me and my requests. I asked for centerpieces that were all unique and they came out perfectly, giving my wedding such a personal feel. I loved being able to rely on her at such a busy time!

Soo Son, Owner, Silverstems, did a FABULOUS job with all of the flowers and garland at our Watermark boat wedding!
Soo was easy to work with, responsive and had a creative vision from the start.
The bouquets, garland with accent lights and centerpieces were made to perfection and we received a number of complements from our guests.

Soo Son was delightful to work with! She is very professional in her dealings but also very approachable and friendly. She makes every effort to understand the Bride's vision and style and is very honest about availability and possibilities for the flowers and decor. She was very meticulous with her proposal and suggestions. She was familiar with our venues and revisited them with our event in mind. We are thrilled with our results - they are over and beyond what we expected - and we had high expectations! Soo Son is a talented artist and we have been blessed by our dealings with her. I used Silver Stems for my wedding a couple weeks ago and I was blown away by what they were able to do. The flowers were gorgeous, fresh and unique. They listened to exactly what I wanted and exceeded my expectations in every way. I received so many compliments from guests about how amazing the flowers were, and, on top of that, she also provided the vases and candle holders for the reception so I didn't have to go through the hassles of finding a separate vendor to rent those. I cannot recommend Silver Stems enough!

Soo arranged the most beautiful centerpieces and bouquets for my wedding. I think they might have been my favorite detail of the whole day. When I walked into my reception space (I hadn't seen them beforehand) it took my breath away. Soo was great to work with and always responded to any inquiries rapidly. She created artful pieces but also listened when I told her what I wanted (and what I didn't). I am so thankful that I was introduced to Soo because I didn't have "colors" for my wedding. My flowers were the color in the space and I needed to have that bring the area to life. She listened when I said I wanted metallic vases and made it work. I literally feel like she was able to look into the vision I has in my mind. I had various types of arrangements (large, grouped, cocktail tables) to make sure that each table didn't look exactly the same. The bouquets were sublime. All shades of white and so classy. I think Silverstems is very reasonably priced and I got a lot for my money. Soo stayed to the budget we gave her and I think she went above and beyond. Please use Soo Son with Silverstems! You will be glad you did! Thank you Soo!!!

Soo was great! She was attentive to my needs, even readying a bouquet for tossing even without me asking (and it was included in my price!). She worked with my limited budget and yet our flowers were AMAZING and people kept complimenting about them.

Soo did the flowers for my bridal party and the reception. My mom was very concerned about having beautiful arrangements to brighten up our reception but I honestly couldn't have cared less about the flowers. Well, after seeing Soo's beautiful designs at the reception I changed my mind!

We asked for modern, clean centerpieces and the arrangements Soo delivered were amazing--very unique and modern while bringing some color and interest to the room. Many of our guests commented on them throughout the night.

Also, my bouquet was beautiful--hot pink calla lilies wrapped with a white ribbon!

Most brides have trouble 'letting go' of major decisions and they lack trust in their vendors. I felt this same way until my second meeting with Soo at Silverstems. She immediately made me believe in her craft and her ability to create my vision exactly as I wished. Not only did she meet and exceed my expectations she was a calming affect on me and my mom. She delivered big time and the hug my mom and I had after our first glance at the reception site represents the happiness we had with her work. She is truly talented and an aboslute pleasure to work with. I COULD NOT HAVE FOUND ANYONE BETTER to bring my vision to life.

She delivered with a more beautiful result than our initial discussions, worked with us on budget, and even did extra corsages and buttoners for us to have ready for special people in the party. I was delighted with Silverstems as was my daughter Pauline and our guests. The flowers Soo Son used were of high quality and they were truly beautiful. The arrangements were elegant and yet striking. The bride's bouquet and those of the bridesmaids were luminous and more beautiful than I could say.She did a fabulous job and working with her was both easy and professional. Soo Son had a vision for the project and it came through. She is truly an artist. I was also happy to have the centerpieces to use again for brunch the day after the wedding. They were stunning in the Duke of Gloucester Room of the Maryland Inn. What more could I have asked for!

I have only two regrets to share. The first is that I was distracted when she arrived with her assistant and I could not speak with her longer and tell her just how much I appreciated the work she did. The second regret is that Silverstems is not close to me so I can treat myself to her flowers. O, well we can't have everything.

I was lucky enough to be have used Soo for several corporate events over the last 8 years. So when I began planning my daughter's recent wedding, Soo was my first phone call. And she delivered big time!!! The flowers for the wedding were absolutely stunning and breathtaking and most importantly exactly what we were hoping for. I knew she was very talented and a perfectionist, but she even exceeded my high expectations. Additionally, I love that she is honest and direct, but such a delight to work with. I had a few favorite vendors during the planning process and Soo is at the top of that list. Thank you Soo for making Lauren and Steve's wedding day so beautiful!!! Soo Soon of Silver Stems is nothing short of brilliant! Her arrangements reflect her artistry and creativity. Most importantly, she is more than wiling to work within your budget. My husband and I had a very limited budget for flowers and several other florists not only were unwilling to work with us, they were down right insulting. Soo was realistic yet accommodating. She informed me of what I'd be able to obtain with our budget and produced marvelous results, despite the cost limitations. As a result, our photographer submitted photos from our wedding to several blogs and online wedding databases and our arrangements and bouquets attracted a variety of favorable comments. This is a testament to Soo's ability to create stunning results within a limited budget.

Soo was recommended for my daughter's wedding by our wedding planner at Wedding Savvy and boy did she deliver. She is an artist and I never had a doubt after meeting her and seeing pictures of her work that she would do a great job. She might be a bit higher in price, I don't know since as soon as my daughter and I met her she was the one. My daughter's bouquet was breathtaking, hers was soo much nicer than Kim Kardashian's! She was given a swatch of the bridesmaids' blue dresses and she made up the most beautiful bouquets in blue and white that complimented the dresses, outstanding. We were planninng on using coral colored flowers as an accent but the ones she was planning on weren't available, she sent me an email right away to suggest some other kinds she could use. Knowing what an artist she is I left her to decide what she wanted to do and she decided on just the white and blue theme and the centerpieces were more than gorgeous. She had a very dramatic centerpiece of tall vases of callas on the table with the placecards when the guests first came in and those flowers lasted more than a week. All in all Soo and Silverstems met our expectations and then some. I still remember seeing for the first time the centepieces on the tables in the ballroom and they took my breath away. As a mother of the bride there is no better feeling to see all of your plans turn out perfectly and Soo helped us attain our goal.

Nothing compares to the fabulous work that Soo Son does. The flowers can be expensive, but they are well worth the cost. Soo listened very well to my ideas and incorporated them with her own creativity. Our flowers were absolutely gorgeous and lasted through the whole day. I couldn't believe the amazingly vivid colors she combined in the bouquets.

What can I say? First off, I am not a flower person. I didn't even really want to have them on our wedding day. But, of course, you can't have a wedding without flowers. Let me tell you though, I am so glad we had flowers !! Soo Son's flowers are AMAZING !! And, this is coming from someone who doesn't really care for flowers !!

Her flowers are absolutely stunning. She really knows her stuff and is a true artist - my flowers came out so beautiful. I LOVED my flowers !!!!!!

There are florists and then there are artists. Soo Sun is a true floral artist. The flowers at my daughter's wedding were nothing short of breathtaking. I knew she would do a wonderful job but the flowers were even more incredible than we could have imagined. Give her swatches of everything, a few shots of the types of arrangements you would like, and let her go. Do not try to give her too much direction because her talent is in her artistic eye. People took so many photos of the flowers at my daughter's wedding you would think it was the arrangements that were being married. If I can use Soo for every floral need for the rest of my life, I will be happy. I doubt any other florist will every measure up to what we experienced on the day of our daughter's wedding. Simply stunning.

I wish i could give more than 5. I love love love our flowers. I had huge baby's breath centerpieces. it looked like a cloud on top of a sleek black glass vase. It was all i needed on my table. Soo definitely knows the WOW factor. She wowed us everytime! We told her what we were looking for..modern, unique and in our colors. She just knows what she is doing. Trust her! she mixes unique flowers with different textures and adds accessories. She is so creative. i cant say enough positive things about her. her prices arent cheap but she is worth every penny! so happy we booked her. ur getting the best quality with Soo @ silverstems.

We had seen some of Soo Son's work in a wedding magazine and loved it, and her floral arrangements at our wedding were stunning. She consulted with my mother and me about what colors we had in mind for bouquets (ie all white or color), matched the colors of the flowers to the linens and a sash on my wedding dress, and created two absolutely amazing arrangements in giant urns to mark to "alter." On a smaller scale, she made my floral hair piece with tiny white roses and boutineers for the guys. The texture of the various flowers she chose to use, the vividness of their color, and her creativity were extraordinary. Soo Son at Silver Stems is amazing.

I found Soo at the last minute (only about 5 or 6 weeks before my wedding) when my original florist became difficult to work with. I feel so lucky that I did, because I'm not sure anyone else would have done as good a job as she did! I had very specific requests about the style of the arrangements and she enthusiastically executed my vision while improving it with her expertise and artistry. Moreover, she was very easy to work with- she always responded quickly, asked detailed questions to make sure I would be happy with everything, and was overall just a pleasure to interact with. I can't recommend her enough.

The flowers that Soo from Silver Stems provided for our wedding were absolutely gorgeous. I was very happy with everything. Originally when looking at florists, I was surprised to see how expensive everything can be, and while Silver Stems is definitely not the cheapest option, you get what you pay for. I would highly recommend Silver Stems to any of my friends getting married in the Annapolis/DC area.

Soo Son was absolutely incredible. She truly made the most incredible statement at my wedding. She was extremely flexible with helping with our budget and she gave excellent advice. Soo Son was a pleasure to work with and I cannot even describe her talented eye. My flowers took my breath away as well as all of the guests. Soo is a true artist and made my wedding even more special.

Soo Son with Silver Stems provided beautiful flowers for my wedding day. The quality of the flowers were outstanding and Soo was very helpful. She was very professional and always open and honest about what would and wouldn't work. Soo was very hands on and experienced. She gave me exactly what I wanted and more. The flowers were breathtaking. The smell, the look and design were exceptional.

Soo from Silver Stems provided AMAZING quality flowers for my wedding. She is very creative and she is an artist with her flowers. The flowers exceeded my expectations. Although quite pricey, the flowers were well worth it.
