Soo Son from Silverstems did the flowers for two events before and after my son’s and daughter in law’s wedding in July in Annapolis, Maryland. The first one was a rehearsal dinner at the Annapolis Waterfront Hotel in the ballroom with a beautiful patio overlooking the harbor. The second event was the after-wedding brunch at the Westin Hotel in Annapolis.
 
I contacted Soo Son less than 2 months before the wedding and we had a couple of telephone conversations and the rest of our communications were done by email. She took my ideas and turned them into the most spectacular flower arrangements I have ever seen. For the rehearsal dinner, I sent her two inspiration photos and we talked about slightly rustic arrangements in square wooden boxes. I asked her to include the bride’s favorite – succulents – and she incorporated them beautifully. The flowers were just gorgeous. Soo Son did a variety of arrangements and the guests were really thrilled when I invited some of them to take them home.
 
For the brunch, I had a crazy idea of modern, Asian inspired arrangements. I sent her some pictures as examples. Soo Son exceeded anything I could ever have imagined. They were breathtaking. In addition to the vertical modern table arrangements on each table, Soo Son also did 2 bigger ones for display tables. And, wow!!! Imagine the most striking and stunning arrangements you’ve ever seen and that’s what we had. They were truly remarkable.
 
The funny thing was since we were planning so close to the time of the events, we never actually had the opportunity to meet in person. That makes it even more astonishing that Soo Son was able to create the arrangements of my (and the bride’s) dreams. I can’t recommend Soo Son and Silverstems more highly.

We were blown away by how gorgeous the centerpieces were for our reception. My bouquet was just perfect, too. I would recommend this florist for your wedding. They were very affordable without compromising in quality.

Soo really worked hard to create a wedding arch which fulfills the bride's needs even we did not have enough time until the wedding day, it was a difficult request and also we did not have a chance to meet Soo, since we only have an office in Tokyo. We are sure Soo is the best florist around Annapolis.

She has done the floral centerpieces and the bouquets for bride/bridesmaids at both my older sister's Annapolis wedding 3 years ago and my own Washington D.C. wedding this summer.
