Silver Sycamore catering team did great job serving 300 people at the Church on MasterRoad.

They assist in creating a catering menu for 300 people, served them all in less then 25 minutes. A planner dream good food, on time within budget

Hidden Gem in Pasadena, TX - A Magical Night

Having our wedding at Silver Sycamore was the best decision we made. My family and I have been patronizing the cafe there for years and years, and we always loved the super cute western town that the owners have built. When it came to getting married, I knew exactly where to recommend to my now-husband. He fell in love with it, just like I did, and so did all our guests - no one could believe that this venue existed in the heart of Pasadena!

The night could best be described in one word: magical. It's the word that my dad kept saying over and over again. After the wedding, he told me if he had to do it all over again, he would scrounge up all the money he could to have it the exact same way at the exact same place. This meant so much to me because I wanted to achieve this when planning our wedding. An experience beyond compare.

Silver Sycamore staff did an excellent job leading up to the wedding, promptly answering our questions and providing multiple opportunities to visit the site and discuss concerns or ideas in person. It was a bit of a challenge the last couple of months prior to the wedding because the venue went through some wedding coordinator changes, but Lyndsey, the coordinator for our wedding, carried confidence and assurance the day of the wedding, which was comforting as a bride.

One of the reasons (there are many others) we chose Silver Sycamore is that it is a well-oiled machine. We were very impressed with how solid the wedding format is at this location, so we felt very comfortable knowing everything would be handled well, leaving us to enjoy our special day. The vendors we chose for the wedding were mostly the preferred vendors recommended by Silver Sycamore. Making the decision to do it this way paid off because all the vendors knew the venue and already had a relationship with the owners. I would recommend others to go this route if they can.

Overall, it was an expensive venture, but we believe it was worth it. Looking back at the pictures and the video, we are so happy we had our wedding here.

Wonderful venue!

We LOVED having our wedding at Silver Sycamore! The venue is exceptional, the staff is phenomenal, and the overall place exceeds expectations! We got married in the stunning chapel, got ready in the cottage and the jail, and had our reception in the hall. I didn't have to worry about a thing. The staff is so helpful and very good at their jobs...and we received so many compliments on our venue choice! I would highly recommend Silver Sycamore to anyone! Thank you for making our wedding amazing!!

Worth every penny

If you’re like me and stress a lot, this is the venue for you! They did almost everything!! The entire process was so easy! Noel is a God send and she makes your wedding day perfect! I would definitely pick this venue over and over again.

So far we have just booked our event for June of 2018. Jackie and her staff have been so sweet, kind, and helpful thus far. They are willing to work through the changes we have come up with so far and continue to do. The facility is beyond words. The "town" is exquisite and is perfect for the Country Rustic theme we are planning. The little cottages, Inn and Saloon are perfect places to arrange for our out-of-town guests to stay. We are looking forward to having the reception dinner at their Restaurant located on the premises. The property is also perfect for the engagement/wedding day photos. From the two types of gazebos, the pond with a rocky waterfall to the flower bed in the center of the cottages. You really could not ask for a better place. It has it all! Can't wait!!!

Our bridal shower experience with Silver Sycamore was absolutely amazing! From the minute I booked the tea room, throughout the planning process, and even after the event. The venue was beautiful! The staff was beyond helpful and every single person there was as sweet as can be. Response time was quick and questions were answered promptly. The food served was very tasteful as well. Our bridal shower guests were content and satisfied with their experience as well. Safe to say I would definitely book another event with this amazing establishment. Thank y'all so much for making this experience a memorable one!

What an amazing wedding we had at Sycamoreville! The town was ours for the entire weekend... actually was renamed to be OUR OWN TOWN from Friday through Sunday - such a super unique special wedding - EVERYONE said is was the best wedding they've been to in years!!

The chapel held all 250 of our guests comfortably, we had a phenomenal electric violinist play while the guests arrived and then of course played our favorite song, "1000 Years" while we walked down the isle. It was so cool to have confetti thrown at us from the chapel balcony as we exited... it was SO SPECIAL!! The Chapel is the most beautiful (non-church) chapel in all of Houston... and we looked at the few that Houston has - this one is it!!

Then we had appetizers and wine served in our cocktail reception in the town street (Main Street) while we did pictures. It was a little chilly so we had food and drink outdoors with heaters and indoors too in their old-style Hotel & Saloon (which is beautiful too!)

Dinner was awesome (we did a seated dinner in the hall instead of buffet to keep it more elegant) with all 250 of our guests indoors as well. Although we thought we could have it outdoors, it got a bit cold, so we had it indoors, which worked out perfectly anyway (nice to have options).

Then, the 2nd best thing of the day was our dance under the stars and the strung lights of the town's Main Street. From the 1st dance, to the line dances, to the last dance, it was beautiful outdoors - all the pictures are over-the-top!!

The base costs were actually less than what we looked at with other locations which could handle our size and when considering the chapel, the town, and the hall it worked out to be a perfect. Although it won't happen again, all I could think of was how can I do this again - the celebration was really that good! Thank you Silver Sycamore for making my wedding day (and weekend) as perfect as I wanted!!!

Our experience was absolutely lovely. Jackie and her staff are very professional and tend to the small details. They will also make suggestions and come to the rescue when something doesn't go quite as planned. My guests were so impressed with facilities and the staff. I would highly recommend Silver Sycamore. It is a FIVE STAR PLUS!!!

My husband and I had the perfect little 4th of July wedding here a few weeks ago :) Jackie and everyone at Silver Sycamore were the best! We planned our wedding in just three weeks and they were so helpful with EVERYTHING! We had flower and minister issues and Jackie handled it and made sure everything went off so smoothly. I couldn't have asked for a better venue. It was a beautiful day and we now have wonderful memories. Thank you all!

Silver sykamore helped me to have the perfect wedding! Jackie and Kayla were very helpful in the planning process and always responded to my concerns quickly. They accommodated all my odd requests (like using unloaded guns as photo props in the old west town). The day of the wedding, Jackie was well organized and guided us through everything. The venue was beautiful and the food was great! The vendors that silver sykamore uses are very professional and worked together to make my wedding a dream. Thank you Silver Sykamore!

Silver Sycamore is a beautiful elegant venue to have the experience of a wedding down to just having lunch. Jackie and Savannah were great to work with. They made my day as stress free as possible. Jackie works with several vendors to help make your special day as easy as possible. My overall experience with her vendors were good. The cake was delicious!!! My guest raved about the cake. The linens company was a bit pricey but they made the room look so elegant and magical. After it was all said and done, I would definitely use her again today. The DJ company itself was great but the actual DJ the day of the wedding was not as experienced as I expected. My thoughts were maybe this was his first wedding???....Jackie recommended a harp company that was easy to work with, she was on time and played beautifully.

Since my wedding, (May 25th, 2014) my mom and her friends eat lunch there every week (sometimes twice a week). The food is fabulous, the people are friendly and the atmosphere is charming. I never knew Pasadena had such a quaint wedding venue, bed and breakfast and tea room. It really is a very picturesque location.

What a beautiful place to have our special day! Not only was the reception hall gorgeous, but the landscaping on the grounds made for beautiful backdrops in every picture! Jackie was very flexible with the menu we wanted and very attentive during the whole event. I can't thank them enough for all their services and hard work!

Sorry this review is so late.My son and I gave his finace a bridal shower there back in august of 2013 .the food was great ,service was very great and professional and friendly .Everything came out beautifully .Id fact my husband and I are doing our vow renewal here at silver sycamore nexy year august of 2015 .Im so excited to get to actally have an event for me this time .Jackie and her staff are very nice and have already started helping with my event next year .I will give you guys another review on that but I know its gonna be so great .Also I have eaten lunch there few times foods always great then too ...thanks for having this palce so close to home

My husband and I were just married at the Silver Sycamore. We had a great time!! We had a small wedding of under 30 people. Our wedding ceremony was held in their charming garden area, and we had our reception in their tearoom. Words cannot express how cute this place is. The price is great and they make everything extremely easy. The owner is a very talented woman. She organizes your whole event, and she is also a chef. She made the dinner for our reception and it was FANTASTIC! We had a very memorable experience, and we could not have asked for anything more. I totally recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a venue for their wedding!

The Silver Sycamore Reception Hall and grounds is the only place you should go if you are having a wedding in Texas...PERIOD. Great service, excellant food, staff, coordinators etc. Texas and the Houston area has loads of venues, but if you want to settle for second best then go with those, but at the Silver Sycamore you get beauty and the whole package plus more. I had my wedding in Pasadena Texas as its my home town and I live in LA and as a high profle publicist to celebrities and major events, I'm very picky. I had all kinds of offers for venues from coast to coast for our wedding, but we wanted the best so we went with Silver Sycamore....all brides should too! :-)

My daughter had a small wedding of less than 25 so the ceremony was held outdoors under the gazebo. The reception was held inside the tea room. Jackie made sure all our needs were met. She even anticipated what we needed as this was our first wedding. I would definitely use her facility if my other daughter decides on a small wedding. Great for
photos and a beautiful backdrop for any wedding, big or small.

Choosing Silver Sycamore as the venue for my wedding reception was the least stressful part of planning my wedding. The staff is well trained and very friendly. They took care of every detail and at a great price. I highly recommend this vendor for weddings and other events. My husband and I even stayed in the Silver Sycamore cottages on our wedding night!

I love that this venue only hosts one wedding on your date. They attended to almost every need, were very flexible, and if you are in to the rustic/vintage feel, I definitely recommend this venue!

Jackie was absolutely wonderful from the first meeting to the end of the wedding night- she works SO hard and does almost everything! The venue was perfect for our needs- a small wedding since we live out of state. She was willing to send pictures through email of any table setting I dreamed up, and flexible when 5 days before the event I changed my color scheme on her :)
I had no stress or worries about anything because Jackie and her team were so professional and competent!
She also accommodated us for the rehearsal dinner, which was so helpful to family and friends not familiar with the area.

I learned of Silver Sycamore when I attended my nieces baby shower. I was impressed with the venue's appearance, the staff was very helpful and responsive. Therefore when I was looking for a venue for a bridal shower I called Silver Sycamore. We were hosting an out of town couple and have a large family so this venue was perfect. Again, they were flexible to bring in special things we wanted. The cake was amazing. The food is always fresh and yummy. Can't say enough positive things. It's not the cheapest place, but it's one of the best!

I had my wedding here on 1-8-16. The staff were absolutely wonderful and were always willing to meet me if I wanted to check something out at the venue. Kayla was my direct consultant and she was quick to email me back with answers to my questions. We had the "delightful touch" reception and added a chocolate fountain and queso fountain and my guests LOVED it! Would recommend Silver Sycamore to anyone planning a wedding!!

I had a beautiful wedding at the Silver Sycamore, and have since been back for a few date nights, and other events that friends have had. I could not have asked for a more perfect place to start the most important part of my life. My husband and I stayed in the bed and breakfast on our wedding night and had the most amazing breakfast the next day. Jackie and her staff are incredible, and provided a great experience from the tasting to the event date. Love love love this place!

I fell in love with the silver sycamore! I did have a few minor issues with service but over all my wedding was a success.

Please read ALL of my review before making your decision.
I do recommend Jackie & her team to help you coordinate your wedding at Silver Sycamore in Pasadena, Texas. My husband and I along with our friends and family really enjoyed our time there. The setting made for excellent wedding photos. The food & professionally made cake were delicious.

The downsides were as follows: 1. a small child did not get a plate and was forced to eat off her mother's plate. Very unprofessional.
2. My husband made a CD for us to listen to with our music, they could not accommodate us in the tea room and we were forced to listen to cheesy muzak. 3. I did not get to take home any cake nor did I receive ice tea refills. Although they are a good value, they definitely have a lot to learn. The assistant did not know how to accommodate just one guest with a gluten allergy & I left with loads of keepsake candles that I made because no one was telling our guests to take them.

The wait staff broke the topper on the top of the grooms cake and never said anything to us. The groom was left in a room with no instructions as to what was going on. The bride never got a chance to eat food or cake because their table was bombarded by people congratulating them, although it is nice to be congratulated, there was supposed to be someone stopping everyone till the bride and groom could finish eating.

The venue has a great atmosphere with music and decor. However there could have been some improvements overall. There was a guest minimum which was fine...if we could have taken home the food we paid for. Essentially I paid for 15 plates that the venue kept (and I'm sure used for another event) so that is why I only gave 1.5 starts for the value. The 4.5 stars for professionalism was given because the staff was always courteous and the servers were polite and attentive. I gave two stars for responsiveness because my phone calls were NEVER answered and the email response time was rarely the same day. For the cake we purchased, I specifically told the venue what I wanted and got something cheap looking and completely different, but it was delicious. All the food was delicious except I had a quiche which I could tell was microwaved (cold and hot spots throughout). I gave two stars for flexibility because the venue could not accommodate to our smaller party size and cake request. Unfortunately the menu selection was limited. Overall I would not return to this venue or recommend it. The bride enjoyed the shower herself, but I was not please with what I paid for. To the owners, I would recommend hiring more staff to answer phones, return emails, and provide more options for clients to be able to customize their experience more.

Overall our wedding was beautiful, however I have a lot to say about how unprofessional and unorganized it was. There was a lot that should've been done and was not.

Had our wedding here. Was very disappointed. No candles on the tables as promised. We spent hours making a playlist of music to be played and our guests could not even hear the music at the gazebo because the speakers were too far back. They did not even play the wedding march song as I walked down the isle. They did not anounce the first dance or toast as they said. The food Was scarce and ran out quick. A lot of flaws. The bridal cottage was very hot when we got in there.

Worst venue ever!

The staff is absolutely terrible. The coordinator didn’t coordinate anything my photographer had to coordinate my day just to make sure she got the pictures she needed. The owner even called me names to my wedding party and they are completely overpriced! The owner begged me to pay and extra 5k for a tent rental and told me I wouldn’t be allowed to bring in a different tent. The owners husband also yelled at me upon arrival because I parked behind his truck. The Ac was out upon arrival. The owner is completely unprofessional! When reviews were left from multiple different people the owner (Jackie) responds on google by calling them liars. She has done this to multiple people prior to our event. READ THE REVIEWS CLOSELY! DO NOT BOOK HERE!
