As soon as I stepped foot into Silver Swan Bayside, I knew that this was where I wanted to get married. It is the perfect size and so incredibly beautiful with water surrounding it. Our coordinator was Jules and she made every step of the process a breeze. From planning everything to wedding day, there was not a single thing that she didn’t handle and take care of. She made the process so much less stressful and because of that, my husband and I had an amazing wedding night with zero issues. All of the staff were so incredibly kind and helpful. They even helped with my bustle when my mom and I could not figure it out! I could not recommend this venue enough to other couples looking for a venue that is beautiful and affordable! -

From start to finish our wedding process was absolutely seamless and magical. Sharon was our coordinator and WOW is she amazing. We loved every second of our wedding and the day of were met with so much grace, kindness, and professionalism from staff. When we ran behind sharon helped me quickly decide to ultimately cut dancing time to make more room for bride and groom photos. It is CLEAR the coordinators and staff are highly educated and primed/think things out prior to wedding day.

Perfect Venue!
I can't recommend this venue enough. It's absolutely stunning, sitting right on the Chesapeake Bay, with spectacular views and sunsets. The team at Silver Swan Bayside, specifically Nina and Amanda, were so helpful throughout the process leading up to the day and the day of. They have a google doc spreadsheet that tracks everything you need to focus on for the day which was extremely helpful and they were always able to answer any questions I had over email. The day went so smoothly and the team was beyond helpful and accommodating. 100% recommend this venue! -

The most perfect day!
From the beginning, Silver Swan was great to work with. Everyone there has been so friendly and accommodating to our requests. We got married on October 4th, the day was beautiful. So many of our guests were amazed with the venue. Sharon our day of coordinator kept everything in order and kept us updated throughout the day with what was happening next. We could not have imagined a more perfect wedding day. -

My husband and I got married at Silver Swan Bayside in September. We absolutely loved the venue and everything that it had to offer! The views of the bay were impeccable. We also appreciated that Silver Swan took care of catering (the food was delicious!) and alcohol. Our coordinator, Sharon, was absolutely phenomenal. She answered quite literally every question we asked during the planning process with such grace. She was knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely kind-hearted. As the title says, this is the best wedding venue in the area! We had looked around for a while before our big day, but Silver Swan stuck out to us and we knew this is where we wanted to celebrate!
The location is gorgeous, with an out look over the Chesapeake Bay, as well as a beautiful interior and surround scenery. Even pictures our regular guests took look stunning!
But what really stood out to us was the staff. Sharon was our coordinator and she did an amazing job! She was incredibly helpful in the planning process and made it very simple. She was also very responsive when we had questions, and had some great ideas on how to make our day special. Most importantly she was very flexible with us as we drew closer and our plans kept changing, when was always willing to help figure it out with a smile!
Likewise, the rest of the staff were exceptional! Throughout the wedding day they were always checking in on us asking if they could get us anything, and through their hard work we had no issues and it was the happiest day of our lives!
I cannot recommend Silver Swan bayside enough, and have already recommended it to our other engaged friends! -

We absolutely loved having Silver Swan Bayside as our wedding venue! From a planning aspect, they were super transparent with their pricing so we already felt like they had an upper hand over multiple other venues we visited. The food was great, my only regret was not eating more of it! It is obviously a gorgeous venue, but all the staff are phenomenal! Nina was truly amazing and made our wedding day a breeze. Although she was our day-of coordinator, we spent multiple days in the weeks and months leading up to our wedding going over every detail. Once the wedding day arrived, everyone knew what to do and it was picture perfect. Nina will make sure to keep you calm, cool, and collected to ensure you have the best day ever. I cannot recommend this venue, all the staff, and Nina enough!! -

Our wedding at this stunning waterfront venue was nothing short of a dream come true! The views were absolutely breathtaking, and the entire atmosphere, from the peaceful water to the glowing sunset that felt like it was straight out of a fairytale.
A huge thank you to our incredible day-of coordinator, Nina, who made everything run flawlessly. She was calm, organized, and so attentive. We truly don’t know what we would’ve done without her. She made the day feel effortless and fun, and we actually got to relax and enjoy every second.
We’re also so grateful the venue let us have our tequila fountain! It was a total hit with our guests and added such a fun, personal touch to the celebration!
If you’re looking for a venue that’s as beautiful as it is accommodating, with staff who genuinely care, this is the one. We’ll cherish these memories forever! -

I couldn't have asked for a better wedding venue experience! From the very beginning, the team
was so accommodating and worked with me to create a customized package that perfectly fit
my vision—a small ceremony with 15 guests, followed by a cocktail hour and photos.
Shanon and Nina were incredible on the day of the wedding—they coordinated everything
seamlessly and made sure everyone was where they needed to be, which took so much stress
off of me. They also decorated the space beautifully, placing all of my decor exactly how I
wanted it. I gave them some creative freedom with a few details, and everything came together
even better than I imagined.
The whole team was so helpful in the meetings leading up to the big day, really taking the time
to understand what I wanted and making sure every detail was just right. It was the perfect

We chose to have our wedding at the Silver Swan Bayside because we wanted a waterfront venue that was dog-friendly. Admittedly, I was skeptical at first because it's not one of the better known wedding venues on Kent Island. It was 100% the best decision we could have made. This place is a hidden gem!!!! The staff at the Silver Swan Bayside (especially our venue coordinator, Mandie) went above and beyond to help us have our dream wedding. Like seriously above and beyond. Just one example: they physically moved a boat that broke down in front of the venue the day before the wedding.
The venue itself is beautiful and has amazing views of the Chesapeake Bay. The cherry on top was having our dog be a part of the ceremony :)

We were married in October of 2023 at silver swan and it could not have been better! The views are to die for, and ones you won’t get just anywhere in the Stevensville/Kent Island area. Silver Swan attracted us originally because of the views and the reasonable prices, but we decided to stay because of the attentiveness and care of the staff. We worked with Emily, and she was with us 100% of the way and always available to chat. As a bride that cared about many details, Emily ensured everything was picture perfect and in place on our wedding day. It was truly the wedding we dreamed of. Silver Swan Bayside is an amazing venue!
My wife and I got married this summer and chose to do a brunch wedding here.. Most waterfront venues in the area could not accommodate the morning wedding. The staff were fantastic from start to finish. Emily was our venue coordinator and she made sure we didn’t miss anything for our special day. The views and atmosphere are unmatched and the in house catering provided by Chesapeake Chef Service was phenomenal. We keep hearing from our guests how great the food was. The venue was even able to accommodate some special requests for our bar. We can’t recommend them enough and look forward to hosting our next big event there.Silver Swan Bayside's reply:

Silver Swan was the venue of my DREAMS
My husband andI had the pleasure of having my wedding at Silver Swan on Oct 29, 2022. I picked this venue because I always dreamed of having a fall wedding on the water. The day was so much more than just that thanks to the wonderful staff at this venue. I did most of the decorating myself and had a giant leaf wall that I was so nervous about having set up (it wasn't the sturdiest thing). When I came to the venue on the day of my wedding, EVERYTHING was done and perfect. We had the pleasure of working mostly with Mandie and Emily. They were so helpful and attentive to detail. They were always checking in with my husband and I on the day of the rehearsal and the big day to make sure that we had everything we needed and/or there was anything that they could do to make better. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much. I had so many compliments about how great the day was, how everything was so beautiful and organized, and I was so relaxed the day of the wedding because of how much Mandie and Emily worked with me and I trusted them. We chose this venue because the layout was perfect and also for the beautiful beach views. However, it rained! It did not spoil the ambience at all. Emily, the onsight coordinator was amazing and worked with us every step of the way. We tried to have it outside and they dried off the chairs, but even after rearranging the cocktail hour we ended up inside. They quickly set up inside and had to bring the chuppa indoors. She was flexible and so accommodating. We highly recommend this venue, especially if Emily is their coordinator!! Beautiful space, and we loved that the dancing is in a separate room overlooking the water. Molly and Ethan's wedding was a success!Silver Swan Bayside's reply:

We live in NYC (my husband is from Paris, I'm from MD) and we didn't have time to visit venues in person. We found Silver Swan online, had a virtual visit on Zoom, and were happy to find they were available on our date and within our budget. We booked right away (only 6 months in advance) and had our first in-person visit in July for a September wedding. Everything worked out amazingly well! Emily and her team were responsive, accommodating, and set up everything perfectly - no detail was overlooked! Our friends and family loved the venue, the food, and the sunset backdrop! We had a little snafu when my nephew (the ring bearer) dropped the ring - but it was found instantly (Silver Swan also has a metal detector, which is awesome, just in case). I would highly recommend this venue if you're looking for a beautiful beach/sunset/waterside setting, but also a great indoor area for reception/bridal suite and a covered patio for the dance floor, cocktails, and mingling. My husband and I are still giddy from the evening. Silver Swan Bayside has all the tools/templates you need to plan your wedding from start to finish. This review is long overdue. We booked in January 2019, and finally had our celebration in March 2022 due to multiple COVID postponements. Caitlin was amazing from the moment we toured and exceeded our expectations at the wedding celebration. SSB listens to what you want and makes your vision come to life. The views were beautiful, food was delicious, and we still have people complimenting on our venue. I CANNOT recommend Silver Swan enough! My husband and I knew we wanted a waterfront venue as we love going to the beach and fishing the bay. After touring so many venues that weren't right for us I was beginning to get extremely discouraged. Then I found Silver Swan!!!! From the moment I stepped into the venue I knew I wanted to get married there! The panoramic views of the Chesapeake Bay from everywhere in the venue were breathtaking. We worked with Emily and she made the whole planning process so simple and stress-free. We had beautiful weather on our wedding day, but I loved that even if we didn't we would still have views of the bay with an indoor ceremony. Our guests had nothing but great things to say about the venue and our wedding celebration....they all literally said "Best Day Ever", "Best Venue Ever", "It's going to be hard to top this wedding". Absolutely beautiful venue. Knew the minute we visited that we wanted to get married next to the bay and Silver Swan was the perfect place. We got married on 10/23/21 at Silver Swan Bayside and cannot recommend the venue enough! After visiting several waterfront venues that just didn’t quite feel right to us, we visited Silver Swan and both immediately knew it was the one. The views of the bay are unmatched! Every single guest we’ve talked to since the wedding has commented on how absolutely beautiful the venue is and asked us how we found them. We were fortunate to have beautiful weather for our wedding day, but we loved that even if it rained, we would still have waterfront views indoors, as well. That was definitely something that made Silver Swan stand out from the other waterfront venues we visited.
We worked with Caitlin as our day-of coordinator and she was absolutely amazing. Throughout the entire planning process, she was so accommodating and easy to communicate with. She answered all of our emails quickly and always had an answer for whatever logistical question we had. On the day of our wedding, Caitlin was such a calming and positive presence (as was the rest of the staff), and we felt confident that they would handle every single detail so that we could relax and enjoy the day. We could tell they truly cared about us and ensured our day was exactly as we envisioned it. They set up everything so beautifully and broke everything down/cleaned it up as well, which was a huge stress off of our plates! The attention to detail that Caitlin and the rest of the staff at Silver Swan put into our day was so appreciated and helped make our day perfect. -

My husband, Jeff, and I were SO blessed to FINALLY be able to have our wedding reception at Silver Swan Bayside on July 10, 2021! We really could go on and on about this wonderful venue and really can not recommend them enough to other couples looking for the perfect venue! 💕
We are local to the Eastern Shore and found SSB in July 2019 soon after we got engaged. We looked at several other venues, however, none of them were as personal, beautiful, and accommodating as SSB! SSB truly cares about each and every wedding and does not have the "factory" feel of so many other venues. It is a family feel and usually there is only one wedding each day. Their venue has so much shore charm and is well taken care of. It is pure understated beauty from the dining room to the covered area for dancing that allows guests to take in the view. It is BY FAR the BEST view on the bay and the sunsets are AMAZING! Other venues could not even compete in this area. SSB offers so much and their pricing is extremely reasonable compared to others. Much is included in your package where as other venues upcharge for everything! In my opinion, you get much more than you pay for!
We also had the pleasure of working with Emily throughout our entire planning process. We could tell right away that she was so personable and a true gem! We originally contracted for July 2020 and then all went crazy with the world. Emily was there for us, comforted us, and supported us. She helped us to reschedule everything for July 2021. I really cannot put into words all Emily did for us! She is a sweetheart and took care of us from start to finish. She ensured that every detail of our day was better than we envisioned it and absolutely perfect!
We really cannot thank Emily and the team at SSB for all they did to make our big day SO perfect! Our guests had the best time and cannot stop talking about how beautiful our reception was and how perfect SSB was! It really is the BEST venue with the BEST people, look no further! Our reception was nothing short of a DREAM and we will be daydreaming about it forever! We could not have done it without them and we are forever thankful! 💕

Beautiful Bayside Sunset Wedding
We booked our wedding with the Silver Swan in late 2018 for the cool date of May 2020. We worked with Emily Paulin – Silver Swan’s senior wedding coordinator – throughout what became a multi-year wedding-planning experience. When Covid arrived in the US, we had already paid the venue 80% of our contracted amount and had about 60 days to decide what to do with our wedding. We also began to hear horror stories from wedding-goers in similar situations who had their contracted amounts held hostage by venues and their lawyers. Yikes.
Thankfully, Emily worked closely with us throughout April 2020 to plan for a “revised” wedding later in 2020. As wave-2 hit in July 2020, it became clear that planning for a late-2020 wedding would also be problematic. Emily again worked with us to setup the wedding for May 2021. All interactions with Emily and Silver Swan leadership were professional and efficient. Emily was on top of every step of the process and highly responsive over all communication channels – never waited more than a day for a response. This is also notwithstanding the numerous factors that we had to “re-do” with Emily, like picking out a new food menu, re-configuring guest lists, updating floor plans, etc.
For our wedding day, we really weren’t sure what to expect given, well, most venues hadn’t been hosting large weddings for the past year. To our ultimate surprise, the wedding went off with no issues at all! Our wedding had an outdoor ceremony and dinner, with indoor dancing and cocktails. Silver Swan purchased and setup a large outdoor tent to house the dinner, which worked out very well for social distancing. Guests had a 180-degree view of the bay for most of the evening. We also lucked out with the sunset. The plated food was decent quality and Silver Swan provided a lot of food selection – everything from mini quesadillas to crab-stuffed flounder. Silver Swan’s bar and serving staff were fantastic and social with the crowd.
The Silver Swan is awesome. Emily is a true professional and we would recommend her for anyone looking for any form of wedding planner, event planner, coordinator, etc. Emily also worked real-time during our wedding, subbing into multiple different roles to ensure the experience was as smooth as possible. At one point, she was sprinting with multiple diner trays to support the kitchen staff – just incredible. They worked with us through our dumpster-fire year, were financially fair to us, and set up an unforgettable event for us and our guests. Thank you!Silver Swan Bayside's reply:

It was truly a pleasure working with The Silver Swan Bayside. Our wedding was unfortunately impacted by covid and postponed until 2021. The venue was beyond reasonable and flexible and went above and beyond to exceed our expectations! The team was professional and full of personality which made planning and our actual wedding day a dream come true.

October 2020 wedding
We had the the most perfect wedding. With COVID we had to make some adjustments. One of those was getting a tent and moving it all outside. The weather was perfect, food was fantastic and everyone had the best time! I can’t say enough on how accommodating Silver Swan was to make our wedding happen. It’s only a one wedding venue, so we didn’t have to share bathrooms, parking or anything. We still think about that day often!Silver Swan Bayside's reply:

I cannot recommend Silver Swan enough! We had a ~40 person wedding on 9/12/20 and it was absolutely beautiful. The location at Silver Swan was the perfect venue for our re-planned destination wedding because it was right on the bay and still had that "beachy" feel. Emily at Silver Swan made re-planning our wedding with COVID as easy at could be, setting us up with a photographer, florist & DJ and then providing a vendor list which all worked out perfectly! Silver Swan only does 1 wedding per day which makes you feel special and you have the staffs undivided attention. The staff at Silver Swan was so good from start to finish- going out of their way to make our day just right for us. Multiple people came up to me to following the reception and commented how good the wedding food was as well. Our guests loved the fire pit, lawn games and s'mores during cocktail hour that Silver Swan offers. Emily at Silver Swan was very easy to reach and responded quickly to all the questions I had. She made everything on our wedding day run smoothly and helped set-up everything up just the way I envisioned it. Our September 28th wedding was a perfect night, and Silver Swan Bayside had a lot to do with that. The venue is beautiful, especially to those who appreciate a nice waterside ceremony.
The best part about this venue is the help you get along the way. We worked with Caitlin Farrell, and she was nothing short of perfect. We had some issues with the food at the tasting, and she made sure that it was fixed for the big day. We actually ended up with a lot of compliments on the food!
A lot of our guests have told us that it was one of the best weddings they had ever been to, and we owe that sentiment almost entirely to Caitlin and Silver Swan! -

Silver Swan Bayside was absolutely perfect! The venue is beautiful and the staff was so amazing and tentative to our needs. The bartenders were super speedy and friendly, and I can't thank Caitlin (our coordinator) enough for everything she did to help our wedding day go exactly as we dreamed! Not only did she help make everything go so smoothly the day of, but she also gave us so many good recommendations when planning our wedding and helped coordinate with all our vendors so we didn't have to! She seriously went above and beyond to make everything perfect and knew what I wanted before I even knew what I wanted! Our guests are still raving about the sunset on the water and how gorgeous and spacious the venue was. Did I mention that our dog was able to be there the entire time too?? I can't recommend this place enough!

Beautiful venue and amazing staff
I cannot imagine having my wedding anywhere else. The venue is absolutely beautiful, and the staff is so friendly and helpful. Emily helped us coordinate everything, and is available whenever to help with anything you need!
The food is delicious, and the venue staff are extremely friendly and attentive. Our guests could not stop raving about how gorgeous the venue is! The rock path into the water is perfect for photos too!

Silver Swan Bayside was absoutely perfect. My now husband and I worked directly with Caitlin and we could not have asked fir anything more. Every detail was taken care of all day long. I could not recommend this venue enough. Being in grad school I did not have a lot of time to research multiple vendors, but with Silver Swan Bayside everything was on site. We had our perfect on the water wedding where the Groom was able to arrive by boat and the food was great. I never once had to worry about anything on the day but just getting ready. -

From the moment my fiancée (now my husband) and I entered Silver Swan we both knew that it was the place where we wanted to exchange our vows and celebrate our marriage with friends and family. Without a doubt, this venue hit all the marks with its breathtaking views of the Chesapeake Bay, a little beach and boardwalk, boats, beautiful décor combined with soft, subtle colors and pops of rustic charm. This was the perfect place to host our intimate wedding day.
One of the best things about holding our wedding at Silver Swan on July 12, 2019 was the fact that we had the entire venue to ourselves and staff were focused solely on our event. In addition, we were allowed to use outside vendors of our choice for flowers, desserts, photographer, music, etc. You must use their caterer but they offer a wide selection of tasty food and the buffet was executed in a very orderly and timely manner. Silver Swan’s packages were quite affordable and there were no unexpected fees. Silver Swan now also offers floral arrangements as an option---working with Kara on our flower selections and staying within our desired budget was an enjoyable and easy experience. You can also bring your own additional décor at no cost into the venue to personalize your special day even more.
The dining room with the beautiful fireplace made a wonderful backdrop for dinner, while the glass-enclosed reception area provided almost 180 degree views of the water. Fortunately, the weather cooperated with us and we had nothing but sun on our wedding day so we could get married as planned outside on the point and enjoyed the spectacular sunset. But just knowing that if the weather did not cooperate, that we could still have water views during the ceremony by holding the ceremony in the glass-enclosed reception area was one less thing to worry about.
We also has full use of the lawn where guests could enjoy beautiful views of the Chesapeake Bay with drinks in hand and also have fun playing outdoor games like corn hole and ladder ball.
I also cannot say enough about our wonderful on-site wedding coordinator Caitlin Farrell. She was the best! She is so sweet and was very helpful throughout the planning process and during our special day. All of our questions or concerns were promptly responded to. She was kind and flexible in addressing last-minute concerns and always had a smile on her face. Our wedding was in the evening and Caitlin even boxed up all of our additional décor at the end of the night so it was ready to be picked up the next morning and we didn’t have to worry about it. We could not have asked for a better coordinator.
Our wedding day was perfect at Silver Swan! Many of our guests commented on how lovely the venue was and the wonderful time that they had.
Many thanks to the staff at Silver Swan and a special thank you again to Caitlin! Our memories and beautiful pictures will be with us for our lifetime.

Silver Swan Bayside was a dream come true for our wedding on 7.13.19! Emily Paulin was our designated wedding coordinator and she is the most kind, patient, organized, flexible, and responsive professional who made life so much easier for us while planning a wedding. Silver Swan was the first venue we visited and afterwards we knew this was our spot. We were looking at venues by the water and this place was the right space for our intimate celebration. It has the perfect view of the bay, and the inside is so clean and has a simple elegance to it. The inside (reception area) also has glass walls, so guests will always have a view of the beautiful scenery. We worked with Caitlin, our wedding coordinator, who was so sweet, helpful, accommodating, and worked so hard from beginning to end to make our wedding our dream. Even when it came to adding cultural elements, such as to food, desserts, decorations and timeline, she worked with us and the venue to make everything coordinate beautifully. The whole process was so easy, and they have back up plans for everything (for rain, etc). Not only do you get their venue and gorgeous view, but they also let you use a variety of decorations, furniture, wedding archs and more. You have to use their food caterer, but that was no problem because the food was amazing (even with our morning wedding, they accommodated our desires and provided us with the dinner menu,, which was DELICIOUS!). The vendors that they do NOT provide are DJ, Cake, Photography and Videography, Floral Arrangements, and Transportation. However, they provided us with a large list of recommended vendors who work often with SSB, so it's easy to get those set up. Silver Swan was also the only venue that was very transparent and honest on pricing right off the bat during our first meeting (BTW, the prices are extremely reasonable). They included all fees and tip amounts into our quote, so that we wouldn't have any hidden fees or unexpected expenses by the time of our wedding.
Our wedding went off without a hitch (even with the forecast of rain!) and we enjoyed everything about it! Our guests raved to us about the wedding afterward, from the food to the gorgeous views. The kids enjoyed playing on the lawn and the beach area, and we were able to invite our friends' sweet dogs, who also enjoyed the beautiful outdoors. Our pictures came out amazing, with all of the beautiful scenery (many of our friends changed their profile pictures to ones taken from our wedding, by the bay, which made us so happy to see!)
We are thankful to Silver Swan for coordinating our wedding and giving us such a memorable experience. A big thanks to Caitlin for all her hard work, kindness, prompt and thorough replies, attention to detail, and so much more. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding coordinator to help us with preparing for and running the big day. We are beyond pleased with our experience at this venue and we strongly recommend them! -

Absolutely perfect!
Silver Swann was the first and ONLY venue Scott and I looked at. From the very beginning they were responsive, flexible and a HUGE help in guiding us in the right direction. We worked exclusively with Emily and she made the planning process a freaking breeze. Emily was our everything girl, from fluffing my dress when I walked down the isle, to gathering our wild crew inside for announcements, calling tables to the buffet, organizing the send off - there's not much she can't do. I will be forever thankful for her and the staff at Silver Swann. If you book, don't stress about the weather (gorgeous backup plan), the set-up (they provide SO much decor), the food (omg the corn pudding), the bar - everything will be so perfect!!!! -

My husband and I just got married here on March 30th and we HONESTLY don’t have a single complaint about the staff or venue. Caitlin went ABOVE & BEYOND to accommodate any special requests we had and always responded to our millions of questions! They were extremely professional but relatable at the same time. I was a STRESS-FREE bride the day of thanks to her and the wonderful staff at Silver Swan. Our guests raved about the food and if you are looking for some amazing SUNSET pictures, this is the spot! We had our wedding at Silver Swan in June 2018, it was everything we dreamed of and more! The setting is incredible with perfect views, beautiful sunsets and an awesome inside/outside ceremony and reception set up. You get a cozy vibe, but it is very spacious! We fit a 9 piece band and 160 guests on the dance floor with no issues. Caitlin Farrell was our coordinator, we LOVED her! She was extremely organized, responsive, flexible and an amazing listener, remembering every want and need we discussed. She always kept our best interest in mind! Silver Swan has welcomed us back for champagne and sunset time to maintain a relationship. They truly are wonderful venue, highly recommend! -

Venue Perfection!
It's hard to know where to start with describing how perfect this venue and staff was for our Sept. 2018 wedding! Caitlin was extremely responsive, thorough, patient and professional from the start. We really hit the jackpot with her helping to make our day perfect. We planned our wedding in 3 months, and Caitlin ensured everything was seamless leading up to the wedding and the day of. We were carefully watching the weather due to a hurricane making its way up the coast and Caitlin and the management team were reassuring with a alternate plan in case we had to postpone/move the wedding to a different day. We got an amazing deal planning the wedding in such a short time frame and it was totally worth it, especially since the venue provides so much (decor, linens, etc.). I always had confidence things would fall into place. They worked with us to customize every detail and seamlessly executed things the day of. Caitlin helped us to adjust the schedule the day of as well (extending the coctail time since folks were having so much fun enjoying socializing and enjoying the views). We did a family only ceremony with about 30 people then did a larger reception after. The indoor and outdoor space was perfect, allowing for a variety of places to socialize, explore, and take photos. The views were spectacular and we had one spectacular sunset. We can't thank the entire team more. The bartender, the servers, catering (buffet food was amazing), coordinators...everyone was fantastic. Don't hesitate to book Silver Swan! -

When we first toured the Silver Swan Bayside facility, we knew it was THE place we had to get married. We went on to tour a few other places, but kept comparing them to SSB. My fiance and I fell in love with the beautiful view of the Chesapeake Bay, the garden, and the elegant dining space. Our coordinator Caitlin was super helpful and responsive every step of the way with walkthroughs and our tasting. Any time I had a question or concern, she was on it. The food was absolutely delicious- fresh seafood and unique entrees. It was so nice to have ceremony and reception contained in one place- and made it really easy for guests to enjoy cocktail hour while we took our pictures- which turned out gorgeous thanks to the lighting and view. One of the things that really made a difference for us is the team's willingness to both set up and tear down centerpieces and decor for us. No one wants to pack boxes when it's late at night after your big day! The dining room and glass pavillion are intimate, gorgeous spaces. I wouldn't recommend a huge wedding here, but it worked perfectly for ours of about 80 people. We were concerned about rain, but I felt much more at ease knowing that we had a plan B inside the glass pavillion. While our small wedding was pricey, I would do it here again a hundred times over.

When my husband and I initially began our search for a wedding venue, we had no idea that we'd end up at Silver Swan. Not being from the area, we weren't sure what to expect only going off of pictures and good reviews. You drive through a residential neighborhood and at the very end of it you arrive at Silver Swan, which forms a peninsula off the Chesapeake Bay. The view is breathtaking and I knew we wouldn't find another place like it. It's a quaint venue that accommodated our number of guests (103) perfectly.
We primarily worked with Kara who is exceptional! She is thorough, transparent, and has a great sense of humor. She gave us the confidence that newly engaged couples need in the beginning. I loved working with her! She was seemingly always available whenever I had a question and made the daunting planning process rather enjoyable for us.
We were in a unique situation where they completely changed menu offerings and the Executive Chef after our initial tasting, which was underwhelming to say the least. We still had the option of using the old menu, but luckily we were invited back to try out the new Chef’s (Frederik De Pue) creations/menu and were blown away. Our guests all agreed, the food on our wedding day was exceptional. It was night and day (from initial tasting to wedding day) and we honestly felt the quality and creativity of the new menu was a great value.
Accommodations are available for your guests in Stevensville/Kent Island, but the hotels are limited and on the expensive side. We stayed in downtown Annapolis, which is about a 25-30 minute drive to the venue. The Bay Bridge and traffic in general is unpredictable, so give yourself ample time if you're staying off the island.
We have the BEST memories of our wedding day and couldn't have asked for a better experience. We're still hearing from our guests about how wonderful everything was. The entire Silver Swan staff from beginning to end was courteous, polite, and professional. Thank you to all the employees of Silver Swan who made our day so special and one that we will remember for a lifetime.

Kara took care of us from the beginning when we booked the venue all the way through the wedding day. We just had to tell them what we wanted and they took care of the rest.
Dinner was delicious and they even made my 94 year old grandmother a separate dinner so that she could eat. They helped make our day so special! -

I had been a bit concerned with all the planning since I reside over a hundred miles away, however, Caitlin put my fears to rest beginning with day 1. We communicated often and she was so attentive to my needs and concerns.
My daughter's wedding day was absolutely perfect..every detail carried out flawlessly! The venue, for both the outdoor ceremony and indoor reception, looked just amazing. Caitlin and her staff kept us on schedule with our timeline and we had such a great time from the moment we arrived right on up to the sparkler farewell. All of our guests were so impressed with the beautiful scenery, delicious buffet and plentiful bar. They had so much fun dancing, playing yard games, or just relaxing by the fire pit and bay. Thanks to our photographer, Cassidy Mister, my daughter has beautiful photos that captured so many wonderful moments throughout the day.

We loved the idea of getting married on the Chesapeake Bay and this was the most affordable option we looked at with an INCREDIBLE view. It was a steal! Our coordinator, Caitlin, was beyond amazing. She is a true professional, responded to all of my (many) questions immediately, and was always so helpful and friendly. We were lucky to have perfect weather for our ceremony but a HUGE storm rolled in during the reception and she handled it so perfectly, making sure everyone was inside, happy and dry. My wedding went absolutely perfect not a thing was out of place and the timeline was right on point. I was able to enjoy my special day and know that we were in perfect hands. Dave is amazing as well and the staff was on point. The staff at Silver Swan knew my florist was on a time restraint and assisted her willingly. I say that i wouldn’t have changed one thing about my wedding and having it at Silver Swan was the best decision I ever made.

Jessica was such an amazing director and listened to all my needs; understood our budget and helped us with any questions we could think of. We were devastated when she left in June right before our wedding. She truly took the time to get to know you on a professional and personal level. On a side note, while I have a 5/5 star rating, the only issue I have with SSB now is their current director. I'll make it simple by saying to have a coordinator or someone else in charge on your day of or your guests won't be seated properly, you mother won't be able to enjoy her daughter's wedding, and no timeline will be kept. While she ALMOST RUINED my big day, the rest of the staff, including her boss, listened to us and made sure things went as smoothly as possible! -

Caitlin was an absolute dream to work with. She was always attentive to answering questions and concerns, and was a calming presence on my wedding day. I could not have asked for a better day. This venue is absolute beautiful, inside and out. No need for excessive decorations. I also took advantage of their suggested vendor list, and I am so happy I did. Mike from MyDeeJay is very familiar with the SSB staff and truly works well with the staff. I could not have asked for a better wedding experience. Several weeks later, and my guests are still talking about one of the best weddings they have ever attended. I highly recommend this venue.
