Amazing band!!

We hired The Blake Band for our wedding and they were so awesome! Such a talented group that will have your guests on their feet all night. They were professional, fun, and great to work with. Flexible on song selections and offered advice as needed. Definitely recommend!

Absolute BEST band ever!

We had the Groove Shop at our wedding and let me tell you, they were so phenomenal, no one got off the dance floor including my husband and I!!! They are so talented and they really create such a special atmosphere. From our first dance, to the end of the night I had the time of my life!! If you’re looking for a band for your wedding, look no further. They are top of the line, professional, courteous, FUN and sooooo incredibly talented!!! Hands down the best decision we made for our wedding!

Best of the best!

We had the rhythm shop perform for our wedding and we LOVED them!
Would recommend to anyone in need of a band, they are top notch. So many compliments to the band from our guests, even the venue was blown away by their talent and professionalism. They kept our guests on the dance floor and kept the energy level up 100% of the time.
Communication with them was smooth start to finish. What more could you ask for?!

Unbelievable Spanish Band

Emerge is the BEST of both Worlds. The mixture of a high quality live tracks with the incredibly versatile vocals is unmatched. Amazing Party Band

Silver Pro was incredibly organized and great to work with. We used The Party Shop. They had the dance floor packed the whole night and guests were raving about how good the music was. They made our wedding quite the party.
We also used Silver Pro for a DJ at the afterparty, which was also incredible.
Highly recommend!

The Groove Shop!!

WOW! What can we say about The Groove Shop that hasn’t already been said? My husband saw them perform at a wedding and knew we had to have them at ours and they DID NOT disappoint! Our first dance song was Beyond by Leon Bridges and they sang it so beautifully. The hora was amazing and the night just continued to get better and better because of the performance from The Groove Shop. Addie was great to work with before the wedding as well, she was very responsive and answered all of our questions. Our guests have not stopped talking about the band, the party continued all night long. The entire crew works so hard to make sure the sound is perfect. The Groove Shop is worth every penny.

Mother of the bride

The Groove Shop was amazing. All of our guests thought they were the best band they have ever heard. They came down from NYC area to our reception in Newtown Square. Their repertoire is so diverse. They cover songs better than the originals, The four lead singers are so talented and nice! And the management co is so professional and enthusiastic to give you want you want. Don’t look elsewhere- hire them to ensure fabulous entertainment!

Book TGS now!!!

Hiring The Groove Shop for our wedding was the BEST decision we could have ever made! I truly can't speak highly enough of them. It was unbelievable to see every guest on the dance floor the entire night. I can't tell you how many people came up to us during and after the wedding to tell us that this was the best wedding band they've ever heard. TGS catered to the audience so well, from a 90s mashup, which was unlike anything I've ever heard at a wedding, to Bruce Springsteen to Dua Lipa to Earth Wind and Fire! Addie was an absolute pleasure to work with and the band absolutely nailed it. I will be telling everyone I know about TGS. If you're even debating it, stop now and book them!!!

Rhythm Shop- best wedding band ever

We feel so lucky to have had the Rhythm Shop for our wedding. Every guest at our wedding was gushing about them. They're incredibly talented, and bring such wonderful energy! They really seem like they have a great time performing together, and have such a wide range of talents. And, with three COVID-cancellations, David and his team were incredibly kind, accomodating, and easy to work with. I can't recommend them highly enough.

our wedding was a concert!!!!!

Stop looking for a band! Rhythm Shop is THE band you want and need for your affair. Our 250 person black tie wedding felt like a live, interactive concert. The dance floor was jamming the entire night. The party was such perfection we extended it for an extra hour. There was no slow dancing because the band read and worked our wild crowd. Comments from guests included “I thought I was at a concert” to “I thought they were on break and playing an actually recording of the song”.

David runs a professional and solid business. He is the real deal. All interactions from pricing to song choices provided us with comfort in our choice of band. He understood our vision of the party and did not disappoint. Though we knew they were going to be very good, they were actually AMAZING! Everyone was blown away!!!!

Run, don’t walk, to book Rhythm Shop. It is physically impossible to find a better band for your event.

The Party Shop 8-piece band!

Hands down the best live wedding band I've ever experienced! We booked the Party Shop 8-piece band and not only did they have the best sound, widest range, and highest energy..... they were so accommodating leading up to our event and flexible with set up, song selection and overall event flow. The entire reception our guests didn't stop dancing and there was a song for everyone with their playlist covering almost every decade. I wish I could get married again just to have another live show from the Party Shop.

Fantastic and Worth It

David and the Rythym Shop were fantastic to work with and were an absolute highlight for our wedding reception. We had a backyard wedding and it couldn't have been an easier process as they had everything you needed for a great show (lights, speakers, etc) and then delivered a great show through the night. My wife and I can't recommend them enough to anyone considering them for their wedding or event, true professionals!

Believe the hype!!!

There is no question -- hire the Rhythm Shop!!! We had heard amazing reviews about this band beforehand, but they even exceeded those high expectations. Guests cannot stop raving about
our incredible band!! Hosting a rocking party was a top priority for my husband and I and this talented, energetic and on point band kept the dance floor packed the entire night. People could not stop dancing and smiling from ear-to-ear and you can rely on these seasoned professionals to manage the flow of the night perfectly. David & Michelle were also a pleasure to work with: responsive, accommodating, flexible and very open to working with us on some unconventional ceremony music. If you want your guests to have a great time, this is the band to hire. David, thank you for making our dreams come true and turning our wedding into the party of the decade!!

Best wedding band of all time!

I could never put into words how amazing the Groove Shop is! We originally heard them at our friends wedding and knew we needed to have them at our own wedding. We felt like we were in the first row at a concert the entire time. Everyone who attended the wedding absolutely LOVED them. I HIGHLY recommend seeing them at one of their preview shows.

Amazing ! Excellent !

If 100 stars was an option that is what The Rhythm Shop deserves. They were absolutely fantastic. Our guests were blown away by their performance all night at our wedding last Saturday 8/24/19 at the Park Chateau. I am so glad my husband pushed me to get a band for our wedding. It was the best decision we made and it was honestly what made the night !! From start to finish they had people on their feet whether the music was fast or slow. They were flawless. We asked them to sing a lot of Spanish music and they mastered every single song we asked for. It was a perfect mix of music of new and old school. The way they engage the crowd is just awesome. Everyone was feeling the music the entire night. David and Michelle were an absolute pleasure to work with throughout the entire process. David assured me the band would learn my song to dance with my father - and if it’s possible I think I loved their version more than the original. If I could, I would relive our wedding party with the rhythm shop over and over again and absolutely recommend silver pro entertainment to any one !! Such a friendly and pleasurable group of people to work with. People are STILL talking about the band days later. We have received so many compliments. Thank you for rocking our wedding !!!

You know what they say the band makes the wedding! Andy and the band members from The Party Shop where fantastic!The music never stopped. (Literally) They really recognized the type of music that the crowd liked to listen to, and played to the crowd. They learned all the songs we requested. Everyone was on there feet dancing most of the night. Everyone including the Maître d’ kept commenting on how good the band was. Friends and family where calling the next day to comment on how fantastic the band was. Thank you Andy and the band members from The Party shop for making my daughter’s day perfect!

Hire The Groove Shop!!!

RUN don’t walk to hire The Groove Shop as your wedding band. OUTSTANDING. PHENOMENAL. EXCELLENT. SUPERB. There are not enough superlatives for this ensemble. Addie is a dream to work with and performed on the piano during cocktail hour. Every vocalist and musician is supremely talented and professional. They learned our first dance and sounded exactly like every artist or band. A vocalist or musician plays the entire reception including dinner. They listened to all of our requests and managed to have guests ranging in age from their 20s to 80s dancing. Every single guest said, “Best wedding band ever!” I loved their versatility playing everything from Motown to pop to rock. They sounded exactly like Bruno Mars and Bruce Springsteen. Look no further than The Groove Shop. They are the BEST ensemble out there!!

Wedding Band

The Rhythm Shop is a spectacular band. We rarely left the dance floor at our wedding. The team is incredible - so talented and full of energy. They interacted with our guests on the dance floor all night. The Rhythm Shop also worked through a few challenging elements of our wedding. For example, we did not have a sit-down dinner, so the timeline was not as traditional. However, the music transitions were seamless. We also wanted music piped throughout the whole venue including a tent, and they were able to make that happen after working with our wedding planner Joan Glenn of 6 Degrees of Celebration. I was thrilled that The Rhythm Shop incorporated many of our favorite songs throughout the night. They did an excellent job reading the energy of the crowd. We couldn’t recommend The Rhythm Shop more highly.

Amazing !!!!

From Suzy to Andy, and the rest of the Part Shop crew, Silver Pro was a delight to work with. I heard them play previously at someone else's wedding, and I said to myself, "when its my turn, this is my band!". They know how to throw a party! The dance floor was jammed packed the entire night of my wedding. People are still talking about the band, and asking/texting me asking who they were. September 2018 wedding

Booking the Groove Shop for our wedding was the best decision we made! The band was INCREDIBLE and we had so much genuine fun all night long! All of our guests have been raving about the band ever since, saying they're the best wedding band they've ever heard, and we completely agree!! Everyone was dancing all night long-from our teenage cousins to my grandmother's 85 year old friend who said this was the first time she danced in over two years! The Groove Shop knows how to keep the dance floor packed and played the perfect selection of music for our guests! This company was so easy to work with and so accommodating to all of our requests. We highly recommend the Groove Shop!

The Groove Shop

Went to a friends wedding and my husband had to hire this group for my daughters wedding. He is not a dancer but he danced all night. You are on the dance floor from the minute you walk into the ballroom till the end of the night. Everyone was asked to sit to be served. They are the best and Addie is great, she organizes everything from the ceremony, to the cocktail hour and the wedding party itself. My daughter and her future husband wanted a DJ - well that was not an option after we heard this band. There are 2 things that make for a great wedding. Good Food and Good Music. Well with this band you will definitely have good music all night. And they get everyone on the floor dancing and interact with the guests.

David, there are not enough words to express our gratitude for everything you and The Rhythm Shop did for our daughter’s wedding this past Saturday night 9/1/18. We all share our heartfelt thanks with you & the band. We all know that music makes a party. And boy, did The Rhythm Shop make our party! I think you saw how we had so many completely empty tables throughout most of the night – the dance floor was consistently packed! And not only are so many of our guests still complimenting us on the amazing band we had, but believe it or not, several guests didn’t even know this was then same band that played Jackie Wendel’s wedding 5 weeks earlier! If you are considering hiring the Groove Shop do it. Stop looking for other wedding bands. None of them are even remotely close to as good. My wife and I hired the Groove Shop for our wedding and they absolutely blew everyone away. Virtually every guest told me that that was by far the best band they had heard at a wedding. I've been to a lot of weddings at this point and I concur. They got the party going immediately and it stayed turned up the entire time. By far the best wedding band I've seen and I've seen a bunch. If you want to have a blast at your wedding hire the Groove Shop. They rock.

Addie Silver, Silver Pro Entertainment, The Groove Shop.

Our daughter recently got married in Poughkeepsie N.Y. The Groove Shop, a Silver Pro Entertainment group band, out of East Hanover, New Jersey provided the music. We had the wonderful standard 11-piece band.
This band could probably do a very sedate, lay back affair. However, if you are looking for an exciting, high energy, dance all night party, this would be the band for you. Our guests, even the ones that don’t usually dance, could not resist the magic of the music and by extension, the dance floor. While our ceremony was beautiful, the party really started with the first musical note. The music was just fantastic. The MC, Charles, engaged the guests throughout. When the horns came out onto the dance floor they added to the already unbounded high energy.

Prior to the wedding I had asked Addie to perform four specific songs. Two of them were already in her repertoire, and two were not. One of them was the eponymous song “To Sir With Love” from the movie with same name. This was to be the song for the father daughter dance. The band learned it for us, there was not a dry eye in the house. The other was a Paul Stookey song (Paul of Peter, Paul, and Mary) “The Wedding Song”. Again, Addie learned it and performed it.

Addie Silver and The Groove Shop were fantastic. Their incredible timing was in concert with the reception dinner. The musicians individually and collectively were remarkable. There are insufficient superlatives to describe Silver Pro Entertainments: The Groove Shop. I, without any reservation, highly recommend them.

This was a Bat Mitzvah- not a wedding but, we loved them and feel compelled to write a very positive review, Used Beat Shop and so pleased with this decision. Amazing how accommodating there are to the families and all guests. These are really special moments and having amazing entertainment put us at ease so we could kick back and enjoy the party. Where to begin! David Silver and his band absolutely made our wedding! Still to today, people are still talking about our wedding band. They were instantly able to read to crowd and knew exactly what to play. More than 80% of our wedding guests never left the dance floor throughout the entire night. I am lucky to have all of my grandparents alive (85+) and it was beyond touching to me how The Groove Shop was able to incorporate them. They had the time of their lives. For me the bride, they allowed me to go on stage and sing songs with them which was a complete highlight for me. As for my husband who is not a dancer at all, the band made jokes at him throughout the night which brought tons of laugher to the evening. If you are on budget ditch the fantasy decorations and the desserts (no one cares about that stuff), splurge on the band as people will be talking about it for years to come! My husband and I got married in July and are STILL getting phone calls to this day about how amazing Addie and her team were! Music was probably the most important part of our wedding/wedding planning process for my husband and I, and Addie did not disappoint! So easy to talk to, you instantly feel like family. The showcase was a fun "nightclub" type vibe with high tables and a great performance (they play a wide variety of songs so you get a good showing). On the wedding day, the Groove Shop did an AMAZING job. Played a wide variety of great party songs, so full of energy, and kept people on the dance floor from the second the reception doors opened until the last note of the last song. I never left the dance floor! Highly recommend you get them as your wedding band! You will NOT be disappointed (and will then demand all your single/engaged friends get them as their wedding band)!

When we first went to see them at their showcase a year before our wedding, we were blown away by their talent and knew we had to book them for our reception. After reserving our date, working with Addie in the months leading up to the wedding was easy and seamless. She is not only organized, responsive, and detail oriented, but also such a genuine person! She and her team are truly the best in the business, and it shows! At our wedding, the band was outstanding. Our guests have not stopped talking about the music and many have told us that it was the best wedding band they've ever heard. What could I say ? The Rhythm Shop is "the best" ! We hired them for both our daughter's weddings and they are amazing. David Silver is a pleasure to work with. What do you say about the best band in the business?!? The Rhythm Shop is perfection. They performed at our wedding on 7/2/17 in NJ, and the band and singers were out of this world. It felt like we were at a several-hours long concert of all of the best songs of the past 30-40 years.

I have never heard praises from guests about a band like I did at our wedding. People were TRULY blown away! Each and every guest commented on how fabulous the band was and how they were the best wedding band they had ever heard, bar none. They are an unbelievably talented group (their range is ridiculously impressive) and their ability to enlist and engage the crowd is really something to behold.

Their energy, enthusiasm, smiles, and talent really elevated our wedding festivities above any other and we could not be happier with what they brought to the table.

David Silver was a DELIGHT to work with, and really ensured all of our favorite songs were played even better than on the albums. From the processional to cocktail hour, to of course, the reception, his team is truly not on par with anyone else. I also love that what you see is what you get - they are not a big corporation where you may hear one singer at the showcase, but get another the day of your wedding. You will fall in love with them at a showcase, and those are the exact same performers who will show up on your wedding day. They feel like a family and truly bring and radiate that warmth at your event.

I am SO lucky we were able to secure them for our big day, and can't sing their praises highly enough!!!! I assure you, you will not regret hiring them - you will just make everyone else envious that they didn't do the same!

The Rhythm Shop is simply the best. What else can you say? This is not a wedding band. This is a group of highly skilled musicians who understand how to entertain on the highest level. They played at my son's wedding and I got more compliments on the band than just about anything else! My friends are professionals in the theater and film and they were blown away by the music. Our guests danced all night and the music never stopped. They know just how to read the crowd and interact with everyone. Each musician is an entertainer and they are all great! In addition working with David was a joy. He made the entire process just wonderful. He took time with the couple and found out what they wanted. He made us all feel special and that our wedding mattered to him.We needed special arrangements for our Mother/Son dance and they played it exactly has we wanted. If you want the best music for your wedding The Rhythm Shop is exactly what you are looking for. You will not be disappointed! They are the best in the business. Hands down. No two ways about it. I am a wedding planner and I have seen so many bands and djs over the years. No matter the event, The Rhythm Shop is ALWAYS the best. At every wedding, people can't help but get on the dance floor as soon as the band begins. Literally my whole family was up the second they started - we couldn't even wait for announcements to start. Being in front of the band is like being at an amazing concert. The clarity of the sound and voices feels like you are listening to a recording but these talented people are performing right in front of you. Dave (and sister Addie, who runs the sister band) are perfectionists. They know how to operate with their team flawlessly. This band puts so much work into learning your songs, practicing for your event, and making it feel like they really are putting on a show just for you. I have seen them work with couples on flash mobs, special first dances, speeches, and more. They are so accommodating and obviously I can't say enough good things. If music and dancing are your priority, you have to hire The Rhythm Shop. They make the day truly unforgettable and your guests will be raving for months - mine still are! :)

Oh my gosh and I almost forgot to mention that we had steel drums for our cocktail hour to add to our theme! It was so cool!

After attending the wedding of a friend where The Groove Shop played, my husband and I knew instantly that there was no way we were planning our own wedding without them there. Addie was amazing to work with from our first meeting, offering us not only band info, but general wedding planning advice as well, which was just so sweet of her. She also made sure that even though we had seen The Groove Shop play, that we still watched a show case to make sure we were 100% sure of our decision-how awesome is that?

There is not enough text space to even describe how amazing the band is at what they do, and how much my fiancé and I and all of our guests are still talking about them weeks afterwards. The singers and musicians are all just so ridiculously talented that everyone the next day just kept saying, "I miss the band.." "I didn't want them to stop!", "That was by far the best wedding ever!!" (which I am sure everyone says, but with The Groove Shop, I know they meant it) You must go to their website or FB page to watch clips of their performances..just a. mazing.

My husband and I are already trying to find any future events we could potentially plan just to give us a reason to hire the band again. Our family and friends all say they would pay money just to go to such an event..The Groove Shop is *that good. Maybe a vow renewal in the future... ;)

I am not even sure where to begin... I first heard of RS from my parents who had seen them perform at a Wedding they were guests at. As soon as we got engaged we attended the RS's showcase which they hold in their beautiful studio. My Husband and I were completely floored and knew we had to have them at our Wedding. We planned our entire Wedding around the Rhythm Shop's availability. When we went venue shopping I brought around their fall availability and chose our date around it. David and his assistant Melissa were a pleasure to work with. They both were extremely responsive whenever we needed anything at all. The meeting with David leading up to our event couldn't have run any smoother. It was such a relieve to know we were in such great hands each step of the way. I can't rave enough about how incredible our Wedding was because of David Silver and his band. All our guests haven't stopped talking about how great they were. No one sat down expect to eat dinner and dessert the entire night. The evening was one big celebration. We coordinated our ceremony music, cocktail hour music and our after party through the RS as well. They were able to help us plan a karaoke after party at the Crystal Plaza after our reception. A few of the band members stuck around and helped our guests along sing along as they played in the background. It was a night we will never forget and we couldn't have done it without the help of Silver Pro Entertainment. Please don't look anywhere else for a band for your upcoming Wedding or event. They're the absolute best in the business!!!

There are hardly words to describe how amazing The Groove Shop really is! We knew we wanted the band to be the focus of our reception and we were not disappointed! From the very beginning, Addie was easy and fun to work with, and was incredibly helpful in finalizing our intro songs and the reception set list. She also played the piano beautifully during our cocktail hour and the (very!) few times the band took a break during the course of the evening.
That band though… just perfection! 4 amazing singers, an impressive (and LOUD!) brass section, an wonderful MC, and an overall incredible range of talent from every person involved. They even learned our first dance song but you would never know they hadn’t been playing it for years. The Groove Shop kept everyone engaged and on the dance floor the entire night and our guests couldn’t stop raving about them. We can’t recommend them highly enough.

We tend to be people who are typically underwhelmed by wedding bands, as we feel like a lot of them put their own spin on songs to the point where it makes it difficult to sing along to. But the Rhythm Shop did anything but that. They hit every song they sang right on the head. And they did it with so much energy, getting the crowd involved whenever they could. But most impressive is the depth of instruments (16 to be exact) and members in the group that allow them to basically perform any song, and play it perfectly.

We had so many people tell us that the Rhythm Shop the best wedding band they had ever heard, but there were even more people who expressed that feeling over social media, completely unprompted, meaning they weren’t just telling us to be nice, but because they truly believed it. And I absolutely echo that sentiment.

Bands can certainly make or break a wedding, and the Rhythm Shop made sure that ours was absolutely memorable. And we’ll be forever grateful to them for that.

BOOK THEM! They are amazing. We looked at other bands and and most were "rolodex" bands so you weren't guaranteed the same people you just watched would play at your wedding, I wasn't comfortable with that. The Rhythm Shop has been playing together for (I think 20+) years and what a difference that makes. David was so great and easy to work with. He checked in on us throughout the night to make sure everything was going the way we wanted. I warned David when we had originally met that I didn't know many people that wouldn't dance at our wedding, not sure if he believed me, but boy was I right. I remember standing with my dad at the edge of the room at one point in the night and we could count the people sitting down on one hand. The energy between the band and our guests made the night one that not many people are going to forget.

One word - AMAZING! TRS is a must at any wedding. The dance floor was packed the ENTIRE night, and everyone is still raving about how much fun they had & how great the band was! They had played at my brother's wedding several years back, and as soon as we got engaged (literally that weekend), we reached out to find out their availability BEFORE looking at wedding venues. That's how much we wanted them at our wedding. Get over any price tag. If you want a live band at your wedding, a phenomenal, extremely professional, live band at that, you're going to have to spend money. I cannot stress enough, they are worth every penny. David is the friendliest person ever, talked through every detail, made us feel so welcome & very comfortable. I have recommended them to all my friends who aren't even engaged yet, that they have to have TRS for their wedding, and they agree!

We used the Rhythm shop for our wedding on 12/31/15 and they truly made the wedding! I cannot say enough great things about them. They are all absolutely incredible and energetic and know how to make a party. There were people dancing at my wedding that don’t even like to dance—that’s how you know they are amazing at what they do. Everything flowed perfectly from ceremony, cocktail hour to the reception. I think every person that attended my wedding raved about the band either that night or the next day. I also wanted to thank David Silver for everything leading up until the wedding. He was so professional and a joy to work. He helped me make some critical decisions and they turned out perfectly. I am happy he was also able to play a couple songs at our wedding as well. As someone that was in a wedding band for many years, I was extremely particular when searching for the right band for my wedding. The moment I saw and heard The Groove Shop at one of their showcases, I knew they were the only band for us. All of the other bands COULDN'T EVEN COMPARE.

The pure talent and sophistication of each member just can't be topped. The energy and cohesiveness of this group by far exceeds any other band out there. they're classy, not cheesy, and they do each and every song justice. They were accommodating and professional, and they hosted a party that could never be topped. I would choose them again and again and again.

The Rhythm Shop knocked it out of the park for my wedding! They were absolutely fantastic. The Groove Shop was unbelievably perfect. I really cannot say enough about how amazing this band was. They learned every unique song we asked, they engaged with us and all of our guests and their musical and vocal abilities were off the charts! I was not a believer in wedding bands until I had my own wedding and I was floored but how good a band could be. I wish I could have them over every weekend to relive the dance party we had! The band and their manager are so good at reading the mood of the crowd and they will adjust what they play accordingly. They kept everyone (even the most resistant guests) dancing the entire time! We booked The Groove Shop for our wedding in Aug 2015 - and they were INCREDIBLE! All of our guests were dancing throughout the entire reception, and we've received tons of compliments on the great music and energy that The Groove Shop brought to the party. We HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking for a high energy, extremely talented band who will be sure to bring a wedding celebration to life!

Addie is the friendly, organized Band Leader who works closely with each couple to organize everything for your big day. Addie helped us pick our 'honor songs' (first dance, parent dances, etc.) and even helped us layout the reception 'flow' to make sure that we had enough time for dancing in between the meal and speeches.

Addie reads the crowd and queues the band to play music that exactly fits the mood of your party. And, each member of The Groove Shop is extremely talented. Their songs sound amazing and they have some signature medleys that are really impressive. They work the crowd and get everyone involved in the music. For example, their trumpet players came out onto the dance floor to show their skills, and really impressed our guests.

Hiring the Groove Shop will guarantee that you have the best wedding ever!
I saw them in NY at a studio viewing, left the show and went home to my fiance beaming. "They were awesome and the room was electric!", I said. So we had high expectations after hiring them but the Groove Shop exceeded all of them!

They are such an incredibly talented group of artists - they learned the songs we wanted, played hits from the 90's through today as requested, and kept the dance floor packed all night! The musicians are so fantastic, and I loved that the horn line came onto the floor to serenade the bride and groom. The singers came out onto the floor too and entertained the crowd; it added another layer of excitement to not only hear the band, but dance with them too! All of our guests absolutely love the Groove Shop and can't stop talking about how they were the best wedding band. Ever.

Addie was so easy to work with and she listened to what songs we did and did not want to hear on our wedding day. She also played the piano while guests arrived, and I got many compliments on how beautiful she sounded!

If you are considering a band for your wedding day/party/ANYTHING you MUST book The Groove Shop. They were recommended to us by a friend who had seen them at a wedding and said we *HAD* to book them, after hearing them at a Demo in NYC we knew they were the band for us! Even at the demo every band member seemed so friendly, they really LOVE what they do! They absolutely MADE our wedding. Every single guest was out on the dance floor dancing the night away WITH the band members (they are SO FUN and come out on the dance floor to sing/play their instruments!!) even people that aren't typically big dancers said they just loved watching them - they are so seamlessly orchastrated you almost forget you are not listening to live music! From the beautiful pianist/guitar music at the wedding, to the pianist playing during the cocktail hour, to every-single-song played during the reception there was nothing bad i could say about them! They even played special songs requested by my Mother-In-Law only a few weeks before the wedding! They never put on a CD or recording of music, when they take breaks they make sure to keep someone playing or singing. Even the piano music during the dinner was so nice to listen to. We are SO happy that we chose them and you will be too!

We love the Groove Shop Band!! My husband and I were married at TriBeCa Rooftop in October 2014 and can honestly say the best decision we made was hiring the amazing talent of the Groove Shop!!! The amount of compliments we received and STILL receive is overwhelming. This is by far one of the BEST and most talented group we have ever had the pleasure of listening to! Addie was super sweet and extremely easy to coordinate with. The day of ran smoothly and as planned, we even had surprise guests perform and the band handled it with both grace and professionalism. I can't say enough amazing things about this band. My husband (then fiancé) saw them perform once at a showcase and did not even go to see anyone else, we booked them that week. The band was so amazing that I know there was not one person sitting down while they were playing. I had everybody come to me after the wedding asking for the band information and several friends book them after my wedding just based on how amazing they were. If you want everyone up and dancing, you HAVE to book The Groove Shop!

My husband & I were married November 28, 2014. We have never heard a band like this before at a wedding! They were absolutely fabulous! Everyone is still talking about the band and how good they were! They had all of our guests dancing! Their ability to play the right amount of songs from each genre was superb! They played straight for 4 1/2 hours. What a difference a fabulous band makes! The band members came and danced in the crowd with our guests. The saxophonist played among the crowd. They were lively and upbeat! Simply worth their weight in gold! They rocked the house! Outstanding! If you can swing a band financially these are the guys you want hands down! I suggest sacrificing elsewhere and getting a good band! They were terrific and worth every penny! My only suggestion is when picking your song choices short of your "must haves" songs there really isn't any need to go through the list they give you because they play their set & it works because they keep with the times. That part wasn't necessary and we really took a lot of time doing that! Also, don't be surprised if all the original band members that you see aren't the ones playing the day of your wedding! It is totally cool because they recognize great talent and only hire the best! We were told we had the best wedding ever! I really do believe the Groove Shop made that possible! We were blown away & would do it all over again. I wish I had a party to throw so I could hire them again! A+

My husband and I first saw the Rhythm Shop at a friend's wedding. It was one of those weddings where we didn't know a ton of people there and probably could have spent the whole wedding just sitting at our table and talking to each other. But the band was so great, we were up dancing the entire night. So when we were planning our own wedding and choosing between 2 dates, we actually reached out to the Rhythm Shop to see if they were available before making a choice. And lucky for us, they were!

David made planning the music at our wedding so easy. We were able to arrange our ceremony and cocktail hour music through them too which was really convenient. We had several phone calls with David and he helped us pick all of the music for the ceremony through reception. When we had a hard time choosing songs, David gave us suggestions. They thought of everything, and we planned all of the details out with them beforehand so we didn't have to worry about anything the week before or day of the wedding. Our parent dance and first dance songs weren't on their song list, but the band learned them and played them beautifully at the wedding.

Now on to the party... The Rhythm Shop really MADE our wedding. Our guests have been raving about them since (it's been almost 3 months). "Best wedding band ever!" They played a great variety of songs, from oldies to 80s to new hits. They had our guests, ranging from our friends to grandparents on the dance floor all night! We've been to a lot of weddings and seen a lot of really good bands, but I don't think we've ever seen a band with the kind of range that the Rhythm Shop has. They were also super interactive with our guests. Our photographers got some great shots of our guests singing with the band, belting songs into their microphones.

If you're looking for the best band out there, you've found it in the Rhythm Shop. Thank you so much David and crew!!

My husband and I could not say enough great things about The Rhythm Shop. They are the absolute best band out there. We have been to several weddings and they seem to make the party that much better. At our own wedding, we could not have asked for a better mix of music, entertainment, and service. Our guests were raving about the band for days after. They could not stop talking about how blown away they were. They kept raving that The Rhythm Shop was the best band that they ever heard. There were always people on the dance floor and even the guests who were not dancing were enjoying music at their seats. It was truly like being at a concert. The Rhythm Shop also supplied us with instruments for the ceremony which was an absolute tear jerker.

The Rhythm Shop has our highest recommendations. We can not wait to hear them live again!!

The Rhythm Shop provided us with our ceremony music as well as music for our reception. Their performances exceeded all of our expectations! The music they provided was absolutely amazing. Our guests are still talking about it! The dance floor was packed all night long. They have a way with grabbing the crowd into their performance which makes it so much fun and exciting! My husband and I were up on the stage singing with the band multiple times. They put on a high energy show and are so versatile. From Italian to Latin to the Top 40s, The Rhythm Shop plays it all! Dave was always available to answer all of my questions and made the process stress free. They certainly added to making our night a memorable one. Thank you again for everything!

We used The Groove Shop for my daughter's wedding in August. Addie is the bandleader and was my music and event guru! We went to a showcase and hired them on the spot. The energy, vocals and transitions were spot on. We could tell they were seasoned, together. The bride and groom loved her and were confident in her from the first meeting...even though this vendor was the hardest to find because the music was most important to them. Addie worked with me on how sets of music would work best during the reception so that the crowd would stay engaged throughout.
Our night was a huge success thanks to Addie and the amazingly engaging members of the band. We had requests, speeches, video...nothing threw them off. The energy was constant and sound just right. Addie's piano playing added a romantic mood and created beautiful background as needed to an otherwise consistant upbeat party atmosphere. Our guests have been RAVING; the best band they have ever heard. Over and over. We concur. Addie, you made our celebration a night we will always remember with a smile and gratitude.

The Groove Shop performed at our wedding reception on August 23, 2014 and they were amazing!!! This was the most exciting part of the reception for us, we wanted to make sure our guest felt like they were at a rockin party and The Groove Shop did not disappoint. They were wonderful at accommodating our requests, did Spanish and American music equally as well. Addie is a sweetheart to work with. I could not recommend them highly enough!

In one word - AMAZING! The Groove Shop is simply the BEST! I wish this site had 1,000 stars because if they did - I'd give them 1,000 PLUS more!

From the moment my now husband and I met with Addie until the end of our reception, we were absolutely BLOWN away! Addie and her team made the time to always answer our emails, calls and even meet with us late at night to ensure our wedding was exactly how we envisioned it to be. We had a wedding with 200 people and I can honestly say that NO ONE was in their seats. Our guests danced the night away and months after our wedding - they are STILL talking about how absolutely amazing The Groove Shop was on our wedding day!!!!

Addie worked with us to put together the perfect ensemble for our big day. We had a trio during the cocktail hour and they totally set the mood for the evening! ...And from the moment our guests arrived into our reception room until our very last dance, they were dancing and enjoying every second of The Groove Shop! There were times during the evening where I had to do a double-take because I could have sworn Usher was on-stage - that's how GREAT this band truly is :-)

My husband and I went back-and-forth on whether-or-not a band was what we wanted at our reception; however I can honestly say that having The Groove Shop play at our wedding was the second best decision I made that day :-)

This is my first review on ANY review site-- but our experience with the Groove Shop (July 2014, NYC) was so positive that I felt I needed to help spread the word. Finding right band was VERY important to my husband and I; having a packed dance floor was a top priority in our minds. We were feeling a bit hopeless as we started searching-. Even a year out, many of the more well-known bands were already booked and we were frequently being offered alternate bands from the same companies, with no opportunity to see the band in person, which seemed ridiculous, especially since they mostly came with sky high price tags. We were extremely lucky to stumble upon the Groove Shop the night they were holding a showcase in NYC. We were very impressed, and booked them immediately.

We went with a 12 piece band and they also provided ceremony and cocktail hour music. We cannot begin to describe how happy we were with the performance. The Groove Shop absolutely ROCKED it, for lack of a better term. They had the dance floor packed all night, playing everything from oldies to current hits, and sounding better than the original artists. They were amazing at getting the crowd going and interacting with the crowd; for several songs the horn section came out onto the floor, as did some of the singers/rappers, which was a big hit. This group is amazingly talented and versatile. They performed a huge range of music and even learned a new song just for our first dance. Addie, the band leader, was extremely flexible, responsive, and easy to work with. By the end of wedding planning, chasing down vendors can become a full-time job; it was great to have one vendor I knew would always get back to me right away. The prices are also extremely fair-- I echo the sentiments of one reviewer who said this was the one vendor I felt I should have paid MORE for. A month after the wedding we are still being told by guests that this was the best wedding band they have seen.

THE GROOVE SHOP is the best!I had The Groove Shop at my wedding and all i keep hearing is "Your band was the best band i have ever heard at a wedding!" They were truly incredible with their talent, high energy and amazing songs they played. They dont play your typical cheesy wedding music...they just know how to get the crowd going to have the best time. First off, as a bride i had the best experience working with Addie. She has so much patience and only wanted to please us with our wishes. Most bands do not care about their clients as much as Addie does. Other bands definately dont take the time to meet with you about your exact deisires and specific things that you want. There is something special about picking a smaller company instead of a big name company that doesn't deliver what they tell the client they will from the beginning and who doesn't take the time to make each client happy for their own desires. Addie was in constant contact with me about any questions that i had or any songs that i requested. If you are looking around at other bands...don't even bother...nothing compares to the Groove Shop!

We used the Rhythm Shop for our wedding and from our initial meeting with David through the actual wedding night, we knew that we had made the right decision. They are such a talented, fun and special band and truly made our wedding unforgettable. Everyone was up and dancing the entire night, which was exactly what we had been hoping for. It was amazing how many people went out of their way after the wedding to let us know how much they loved the band and that they were the best that they've ever seen. We've already referred friends to them and cannot wait to party with them at another event soon!

The Groove Shop was absolutely incredible and three months later I am still getting compliments on what an incredible band they were. We danced our entire wedding and I'm only sorry that it didn't last longer! They were organized, reliable, and prompt, the service was high quality, and Addie was a pleasure to work with. They were also super convenient to meet because we could go to a showcase in NYC. I can't say enough good things about them! They were worth every penny!

There is no better band in this area then The Rhythm Shop!! I have spent 20 years in the event planning industry and when I myself needed a wedding band last year my close friend and wedding planner, Laura DeGennaro, said simply that The Rhythm Shop was the best and I could only consider them. As always, she was absolutley right.

From the planning stages, David was so easy to work with. Changes to music selections and special requests were accepted with a "no problem" attitude. EVERYONE was on the dance floor from the first song to the last. The band is professional, fun and the music is "off the charts". One of my favorites was the Proud Mary dance. They made our St. Patrick's Day wedding one for the ages. I cannot tell you how many guests have called and asked for their contact information.

Bottom line, if you are looking for a top notch wedding band, look no further......

My wife and I recently got married in Peapack-Gladstone, NJ and hired The Groove Shop as our wedding band. They absolutely made our wedding! I am a musician myself so I took the responsibility of finding a good wedding band very seriously. I met with several bands and in the end The Groove Shop was clearly the best by far. They played for 4 hours non-stop, shifting and flowing the music to go along with dinner, dancing, cake cutting, etc. perfectly. The proof though was the fact that during the wedding absolutely everyone was out of their seat and dancing, even our grand and great-grandparents. No joke. And I still have friends and family telling me now, months later, that The Groove Shop was the best wedding band they have ever seen and how much fun they had. They honestly made our wedding a blast for everyone.

The Groove Shop Voted Best Wedding Band of All Time! [in our opinion] :)
My best friend had The Groove Shop play at her wedding, and my fiance at the time (now husband) called them the very next day to book them for our wedding - that's how good they are! And it was the best call we ever made...
It's been almost 2 months since our wedding and we are still getting contacted by family and friends telling us it was "the best wedding they have ever been to". The MAIN reason for that was The Groove Shop. People kept pulling us aside all throughout our wedding night and asking - "where did you find this band they are amazing?"
Addie was awesome and she worked with us every step of the way (even though we were planning our wedding from 3,000 miles away). She not only worked with us on the things we knew we wanted (shortening our first dance songs, etc), but she also helped us plan the parts of the night we were unsure of (intro songs, etc).
Our dance floor was packed from the very 1st song through the end of the night. Every song the band played was unbelievable, and they went above and beyond to learn some new songs for us that we requested. Plus the band members came out and interacted with everyone on the dance floor - and our wedding guests LOVED it. I honestly cannot say enough good things about The Groove Shop because they absolutely made our wedding the best day of our lives.
We just HOPE that someone we know gets married soon, and hires The Groove Shop so we can once again enjoy their UNBELIEVABLE TALEN!!
Thank you so much to Addie and The Groove Shop for providing the most amazing entertainment a bride and groom could ever hope for!!! We love you guys!

There is absolutely NO OTHER CHOICE but to hire the Grooveshop for your next affair! Addie and the band are insanely amazing. Everyone in our wedding party was on the dance floor all night. The singing and instruments were incredible. The band really goes above and beyond – they get on the dance floor with your guests and just boogie on down! Having a band has such a unique perk too – they can learn your first dance song, and any other of your favorites! I found myself listening to songs on the radio after the wedding and thinking "wow, the Grooveshop did that way better than the original!" They have the perfect blend of old and new, and will play any styles you want. The Grooveshop wasn’t even a vendor at our wedding, they were part of the family! I would highly recommend them to ANYONE for your next affair.

My husband and I spent the most of our wedding vendor search time working on the band. I really wanted a band that would both play great music and know how to keep the crowd moving all night. My husband used to play in a band so he was also really focused on finding a band with excellent musicians. We thought The Groove Shop was the perfect combination and could not be happier with our choice. Addie was so helpful leading up to the wedding and really listened to what we wanted. We had such an amazing night that night and give much credit to the band for giving us such a great time. And all of our guests (which included both musicians and some pretty experienced wedding guests!) kept gushing about how great the band was!

In addition, given his musical background, my husband really wanted to play a couple of songs at our wedding - one to serenade me and one with his former college band buddies. Not only did the band let them join them, but they even learned one of the songs so they could accompany him. It was a highlight of the evening and we very much appreciate the band's attention to detail and for being such good sports.

BEST BAND IN THE TRI-STATE AREA--HANDS DOWN!!!! I am still fielding phone calls telling me this was the single best wedding band my guests have ever heard!! Addie (the bandleader) was the absolute BEST to work with, kind and caring, flexible and fun and she made my husband and I feel so special throughout the process and on our wedding day! And the band exceeded every expectation we had. They played all night long to a heavy dancing crowd and sounded as if they were playing the actual CDs! It was truly incredible to listen to them and be a part of their magic!

Their energy, dedication and enthusiasm goes unmatched in this industry and I am confident I cannot say enough good things about Addie and her bandmembers! I want to have another party solely to have them play!

I HIGHLY recommend you look no further than THE GROOVE SHOP for your next event as they are the best of the best at what they do and can play any genre as good as the originals.

We had the band the Groove Shop perform at our wedding and words can not describe the quality of the music that we had that night. The ENTIRE time there was something playing and they fed off of the crowd. Although they missed a few songs that we would have wanted we didn't even realize it for a few days. All of our guests couldn't stop raving about the band and they truly made our evening fantastic. Our contact was Addie and we would highly recommend her and her band for any occasion.

The Rhythm Shop performed at my wedding and within five minutes of playing, the guests stated how awesome they were! They rocked my wedding beyond my wildest dreams and could not have asked for more! David Silver was easy to work with and helped us plan the music to play covering all genres and even willing to learn a new song for our first dance. My husband is a music fanatic and was highly impressed by the showcase of this band, creating much anticipation and excitement for our wedding, which left us ecstatic and beyond pleased! The Groove Shop

My wedding was almost 2 months ago and people are still talking about The Groove Shop. They are just amazing. They had the dance floor packed all night. Our friends and family had the best time out on the dance floor thanks to them.

I recently tied the knot in April of 2013. And If you are looking for a wedding band in the NJ/NYC area and you do not book The Groove Shop, I feel sorry for you! We had people on the dance floor the ENTIRE night. Everyone is still raving about TGS. Our guests started chanting "ONE MORE SONG!!!" at the end of our wedding, because they are that GOOD. Every single guest told us that this TGS is the best wedding band they've ever seen!! They can do all types of music too, oldies, top 40, classic rock, hip-hop, EVERYTHING. Every single band member is talented, from the lead singers to the key board player! Addie, the band manager is a doll and great to work with. BOOK THE GROOVE SHOP. You'd be silly not to!

The Groove Shop was unreal!! Of all the weddings I've been too (I practically have one every other weekend) our band was by far the best. You can't imagine the amount of compliments we got about the band. Our friends who are engaged called The Groove Shop up right after our wedding to see if their date was available. Even our friends who are single told us that they would want the non-stop dancing and energetic atmosphere The Groove Shop provided at their wedding too. Not only did they learn our acoustic wedding song, but their singer and horn section came out on the dance floor and interacted with everyone. I'm not exaggerating when I say our dance floor was packed the entire night. Mine and my husbands goal for our wedding was to have a huge dance party and The Groove Shop delivered just that. Call up Addie at The Groove Shop- she's the best!

The GrooveShop MADE my wedding. Addie was easy and fun to work with, and the band had everyone on the dance floor for as long as our venue would allow it! They learned new material for us, and choose just the right songs to match to mood of the crowd. Apart from being a great-sounding band, they were also extremely professional. I didn't realize how exceptional they were until I attended a wedding with a lousy band; they sounded okay but looked and acted like it was just another day at the office. By contrast, the men and women of GrooveShop were as down to party as the guests!

We LOVED our band and so did everyone else! They were incredible and the floor was packed all night long with all ages! Addie and the entire Groove Shop was absolutely amazing. For the months leading up to the wedding, my fiance and I were nervous about EVERYTHING (food, photographer, weather, etc...) and the one thing we never had to worry about was the band. Addie is a consummate professional and knows how to handle any situation that could arise.

During our wedding, the only time people sat down was to eat. Since the wedding, we've already had 6 or 7 people ask for their information. The band is that good. There's absolutely nothing I can say to recommend this band enough!

The Groove Shop has been the talk of the town since our wedding earlier this month! Our guests are still raving about how fantastic our music was and that the Groove Shop was the best band they have ever heard sing/play at a wedding reception before! Our dance floor was packed until 12:30am thanks to this AMAZING and TALENTED band! We loved the fact that the band was so interactive with the guests- allowing them to sing along with the microphone and play the tambourine. After seeing the band play at a showcase in NYC, we immediately knew that they would be the perfect fit for our wedding! Addie was such a pleasure to work with and made sure to honor the special song and dance requests that we had for the evening. We are truly lucky and grateful to have had The Groove Shop take part in our special day! I would love to plan another event just to hear them play and sing again!!!!

Awesome! The Rhythm Shop met with me about a year before my wedding to begin planning our day, and they exceeded my expectations in the end. All of my guests commented on how great they were, and everyone (young and old) was out on dance floor the entire reception. The band sang and danced with us, and at one point the saxophone player was on the dance floor! Many of my guests have asked for their information. TRS makes for an unforgettable experience.

We had the Groove Shop for our LBI wedding and we cannot say enough about them. We were trying to keep costs under control and Addie and the group were more than willing to work with us and still provide an amazing experience. We had numerous guests say that the Groove Shop was the best wedding band they had ever seen. The energy was amazing. The sound fantastic. They played Top 40 along with motown and classical. We cannot say enough about the experience and would not hesitate to recommend them to any and all who want an amazing experience for their wedding day.

We used The Groove Shop for our wedding this past May and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for an amazing, fun band. They had the entire crowd dancing the entire night and everyone has commented on how amazing the band was. Each and every one of their voices is amazing and the instrumental players are extremely talented. Addie was great to work with and she helped us through the entire process. We would recommend this band to anyone. We loved them.

The Groove Shop is an AMAZING band. They are under the same company as the rythmn shop and they are just as incredible.
The woman who runs the band Addie is fabulous and met every request we had for our music. They did beautiful ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception music, and they never stopped playing! My guests will not stop talking about how awesome the band was and i believe its one of the main reasons why all of my quests had a blast at my wedding. I highly recommend the groove shop, they are worth every penny!

The Groove Shop, SilverPro Entertainment, Fairlawn, NJ

I had almost given up on finding a wedding band- a popular local band wasn’t available on my date, all six NYC bands I investigated had top rankings in NY Magazine and on websites like The Knot and Wedding Wire but seriously failed to impress me in person- none had an amazing female singer, a few wouldn’t guarantee that the singers I saw perform would be there on my wedding night and one seemed to be having their own party on stage. I called my venue and begged them for the name of their favorite band- that is when I finally learned of The Groove Shop, a band run by Addie Silver in Fairlawn, NJ. Addie and her brother grew up involved in a wedding band run by their parents, who were also teachers. She ran The Rhythm Shop with her brother until a few years ago, when she went out on her own with The Groove Shop. The band has 2 female and 2 male black lead singers with a precision, depth and strength of vocals that, unlike other wedding bands, is so unbelievable that you would actually pay to hear them in concert. The musicians are extremely skilled, sometimes sounding better than the song they are covering! The best compliment came from a young female attendee at my wedding who said she was going to plan an event just so she could hire this band and let all of her friends in NY hear them. On top of sounding fabulous, the band really can sing anything- from Notorious B.I.G. to Frank Sinatra to Volare- the sound they produce is so passionate and amazing that you will be sad when your wedding is over. I cancelled my father-daughter and mother-son dances so that we would be able to have two more songs from The Groove Shop to dance to!!!! Addie is professional, accommodating and a sweetheart- I trusted her to help me select many of our special songs. Before you spend days as I did going down the list of “best bands” in NY Magazine, call Addie and go to Fairlawn to listen for yourself- your search will be over. They are one of only two vendors that lived up to my expectations 100%- and I think I set the bar pretty high. Even if you live many miles away, bringing them to your town is worth every penny. They are the only vendor I thought should have been MORE expensive!!!!
