They Cared as Much as we did

Silver Lake was simply incredible. I was a bride with particular tastes and they were so incredibly patient and able to accommodate all of our needs! Amy was especially high energy and quick to the punch on everything. It was clear they cared as much about us having our perfect wedding as we did. We couldn't have been happier with our decision ^_^

Absolutely Perfect!

Silver Lake was a dream to work as our reception venue. Amy and Janine have top notch communication and respond promptly to phone calls and emails and were able to provide great tips or insight during the planning process. Our tasting was amazing. Finally, our wedding reception was seamless, we received many compliments on the food and the overall atmosphere. Would highly recommend!

We are so happy we chose Silver Lake Country Club for our wedding! The staff was absolutely incredible, professional, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. From planning to the big day, they made the entire process smooth and stress-free.
It meant so much to celebrate at a place that’s special to both of our families, and the team truly honored that. Every detail was handled with care, and their kindness and organization made the day even more meaningful.

EXCELLENT place to have a Wedding

When we first started looking at venues online, Silver Lake wasn’t at the top of our list. But after visiting in person and seeing everything they had to offer, it quickly became the venue to beat. Even after touring several other places, none could match what Silver Lake provided.
The grounds are absolutely stunning and offer endless opportunities for beautiful photos. They have three different rooms to accommodate various wedding sizes, and each one feels warm and inviting.
After we signed with Silver Lake, the experience only got better. The entire team was fantastic to work with — professional, caring, and always willing to help. We faced some unexpected challenges that had us seriously considering canceling the wedding, but when we shared our situation with the Silver Lake team, they didn’t hesitate to jump in with creative solutions that made all the difference.
We decided on an early afternoon wedding with a brunch buffet, and it was a huge hit! Many of our guests raved about how delicious the food was and appreciated the wide variety of options to suit all tastes. The service staff went above and beyond to make sure everyone was taken care of.
At the end of the day, Silver Lake delivered on every promise and helped make our wedding truly special. If you’re looking for a venue that combines beauty, flexibility, and exceptional service, Silver Lake is the perfect choice.

Fall Wedding

Silver Lakes is a beautiful location for a wedding. The things we liked were the grounds are beautiful, the flowers, trees, bushes, twinkle lights, gazebos. They have two spots you can have a ceremony lakeside and a trellis. We picked lakeside and unfortunately it was too cold that day and moved it indoors. Even though we moved it indoors our ceremony was still beautiful with the windows and all the bushes and trees behind us. For food we picked the chef family style and our guests all said it was so good. I recommend you go to the food tasting Silver Lakes offers once you book your event. I find this helps you decide on your meal. Jeanne, Amy and Jeff were awesome with answering any questions or giving suggestions.

The Perfect Spot for a Bridal Shower!

We had the most perfect wedding shower for my sister in the East Garden Room! It Beautiful with the windows and all the flowers showing through. The staff was incredible and so accommodating. We chose breakfast foods, and they were very delicious. Everything ran so smooth and the price was reasonable for what was included. Will definitely consider this place again for another event!

We love Silver Lake!!

We recently celebrated our wedding reception at Silver Lake Country Club, and we truly could not have asked for a more perfect experience. From the very beginning, Amy Coghill and her team went above and beyond to make sure every detail was just right. Amy's professionalism, warmth, and genuine care made the entire planning process smooth and stress-free.
The venue itself is absolutely stunning. Our guests are still raving about how gorgeous everything was and how seamless the entire evening felt.
The food was outstanding, the service was impeccable, and the staff treated us and our guests with such kindness and attentiveness throughout the night. Every element came together beautifully, and it was clear that the team at Silver Lake takes great pride in what they do.

Lakeside August Wedding

Silver Lake is absolutely wonderful. From the moment we met the team to our wedding day, they made everything so easy. Amy, Janene, and Jeff are all so kind and amazing to work with. Every question I had imaginable they answered and were always available. My family and friends had nothing but great things to say about the food and staff during the reception. Tony and Rusty are the BEST bartenders and we will be talking about them forever. The lakeside ceremony space is so beautiful that you don't even need to add any decor or flowers, and the reception space is very open and airy and the garden really ties everything together. I could go on and on about how amazing this place is, if I had to do it all over again I would choose silver lake in a heartbeat. We love you guys!

Wedding September 2024

Silver Lake Country Club was the best choice we made for our wedding! Alissa and I loved the friendliness and professional work Amy and Janene had, they really did well answering all our questions and checking in with us through our almost 2 year engagement before the wedding and provided a fantastic wedding on the day of! They made sure everything ran smoothly for the pictures even showing our photographer around to all the good spots beforehand, ran our rehearsal very well considering we had 12 bridesmaids and 11 groomsmen plus some family standing up, and conducted a smooth reception that ran so well people were dancing the whole night! They helped make our wedding day the best day possible where I think I will continue to wish i could rewind back time and do it over and over again for the rest of my life! Highly recommend Silver Lake for anyone looking to have a fantastic wedding!

Amazing Experience With This Venue

Our Wedding was in September of 2023. This venue was absolutely beautiful! Pricing included rental fee/food/drinks/taxes, which made it super easy to calculate with our budget. The venue also sets up everything so we didn't have to worry about setting up centerpeices ourselves. Amy the wedding coordinator was so great to work with. She made sure we had everything we needed & requested. She even cut us a deal for serving some rounds of appetizers instead of ice cream with our cake! Highly recommend this venue to anyone!

Best Day Ever

Silver Lake Country Club did an outstanding job with making our wedding day extra special. From the food, service, breathtaking outdoor/indoor event space, to the day of coordination (lead by the amazing Amy Coghill) it was all top notch. My now husband and I always felt at ease speaking with the amazing staff at Silver Lake Country Club as they were very knowledgeable with having years of experience in the wedding industry. They made everything very easy so going into the day I, the bride, had zero nerves and could enjoy our special day.

We would highly recommend having your wedding at Silver Lake Country Club! I am not joking when I say multiple friends and family (to this day) say our wedding was the best they have ever gone to and it’s all thanks to Silver Lake Country club and its outstanding staff.

Great venue!

We used Silver Lake CC for our November 2023 wedding. The first bonus was that we got a discounted rate as a "winter wedding." The prices here were far, far less than a lot of other places we looked at, but the quality is just as high.
The venue was very easy to work with. I was a very hands off bride, and wanted to do little/no planning! Amy and Jeanine handled all the logistical details I didn't want to deal with, but always called to check in to make sure everything was okay by me. On the wedding day, we had access to the locker room as a bridal suite (didn't get ready there, but it was nice to have a place to stash our stuff). The bartenders were great and my vendors said it was easy to work with Silver Lake. Highly recommend!

A Stunning Venue

Silver Lake Country Club was exactly what we were looking for. Amy and Janene were amazing to work with. They were extremely kind and flexible with all the last minute changes leading up to the wedding. The team that they have on staff really is amazing. Originally we had rented the west garden room for the reception hall which is paired with the patio as a ceremony space. We were lucky that there was a golf outing in the other banquet hall that day so we had solo access to all of the wedding spaces. We had the locker rooms all to ourselves, were able to have our ceremony on the lakeside, cocktail hour on the patio, our reception in the west garden room, and we rented the club room just in case it rained so we didn't have to get married in the reception space. The food was amazing! My favorite thing was the twice baked potato and chicken wild rice soup. My only complaint there was that I wish the soup was served in a bigger bowl, lol. We did the garden salad, polish sausage, sauerkraut, roasted veggie mix, baked chicken, roast beef, which was also divine. The staff set everything up for us and all we had to take care of was break down. My personal suggestion is to have a break down checklist to make it go smoothly, we were cleaned up and out within 25 min.

I would recommend this venue over and over. From the ceremony, food, reception and scenery it was perfection! Amy was absolutely amazing! Most beautiful Day EVER!

My wedding at Silver Lake CC was AWESOME! I was able to change my space at no additional cost last minute, my ceremony was decorated beautifully my family and friends were so impressed. I would recommend Silver Lake CC to anyone. Amy the owner was by my side the whole day, I wasn't feeling well so she made sure I had everything I needed and literally stayed by my side the entire time checking on me. An Incredibly Smooth Experience

My husband and I got married at Silver Lake Country Club in April 2022. It was actually the first venue I looked at and I immediately had a feeling it would be perfect for us. After visiting 4-5 other venues, I knew for sure Silver Lake was the one. Our event coordinator Amy made everything super easy for us and was extremely flexible. Emails were promptly responded to, and we never felt neglected during the whole planning process. As far as the wedding itself was concerned, everything was perfect on the venue's part. We planned for an outdoor wedding but mother nature would not cooperate. This was not a problem however, and everything for the ceremony was set up indoors to our liking. Our guests raved about the food, which says a lot since at most weddings you'll be served bland banquet food. Silver Lake was different. I would hands down recommend them!

Even a Tornado Warning Couldn't Phase Silver Lake

We had our wedding here on April 30, and it was PERFECT. Amy and Janene are the absolute best to work with, and everybody raved about the staff and food afterwards. We had a tornado warning when our ceremony was supposed to start, and Silver Lake was able to completely pivot, and set the room for an indoor ceremony after all danger had passed. We even got to have cocktail hour on the patio we were supposed to have our ceremony on after the weather cleared up. I really can't say enough good things!! Have your wedding here!

Absolutely Perfect & Effortless

Amy and Janene were so incredible to work with throughout the entire process. Our initial wedding date was supposed to be at the beginning of COVID and they were always on top of keeping us posted on the latest updates of what we were/weren't allowed. After we ultimately made the tough decision to postpone the wedding for a year, they were nothing less that incredibly supportive and made the date transition so easy. From the days leading up to our wedding, Amy and Janene were so patient at answering all my last minute panic questions and made our day absolutely perfect. Even the staff on the day of the event was absolutely amazing and extremely helpful. All our guests had such great things to say about all the staff, bartenders, and of course the food (we had a lot of people with food restrictions and those with the restrictions also raved about the food they were served). Would HIGHLY recommend Silver Lake to anyone!

Our wedding reception was beautiful!

We're so glad we had our wedding reception at Silver Lake! The staff was so friendly every time we visited. Amy and Janene were a pleasure to work with and had an answer for every question I had. They were also kind enough to allow us to get ready in the locker room (much nicer than it sounds) even though we were planning to leave the property for the ceremony. We had our reception in the West Garden room, and it was beautiful! Even with no decor, the room itself has a whole wall of windows, wood beams, and an outdoor patio space with a garden and trees wrapped in fairy lights. I gave them very little instruction about how to set up the decor we brought, and they fulfilled my vision perfectly! I have absolutely nothing bad to say about my experience at Silver Lake and I would absolutely choose them all over again!

Silver Lake and staff to the rescue!

My husband and I made Silver Lake our destination wedding choice and we were soooo glad we did. From the quick responses to our emails, since we were coming in from California... to all the adjustments to survive the super hot day. They made our special day truly a dream come true. Amy and Janene are the best

My husband and I had our wedding at Silver Lake last month. We postponed it because of Covid and Janene and Amy were extremely understanding about it. They carried over our deposit and helped us pick our new date. Working with them was the best. They don’t care if you email them a million questions, they will respond very quickly. Or call you if you’d prefer. They suggested some of our vendors which was helpful because I really didn’t know where to start or what we really needed.

They attend the rehearsal to walk you through how things will go. And the day of, they went over it again. Answered everyone’s questions. They’re just extremely helpful. They want to see your wedding be a success.

The ceremony looked gorgeous. It was 90 outside but there was a lot of shade so it didn’t feel hot. And the pictures turned out great. I loved the pond and water fountain in the backyard. And the garden is beautiful. Our florist added some flowers and fabric to the arch.

And most importantly our guest loved the food and top shelf OPEN BAR!!

What a beautiful place to get married!

Silver Lake Country Club is a beautiful place to get married! From the twinkle-lit gardens surrounding the West Garden room, to the waterfall background ceremony site, Silver Lake could not be more picturesque. My wedding vision included outdoor views with an indoor reception tucked away in a cute garden, and Silver Lake delivered just that. Also, the food is PHENOMENAL! My guests still call to say how good the filet mignon and champagne chicken was! Even the rolls and soup impressed my guests. Amy and Janene are truly wonderful people to work with, and their organization and dedication to their role as event coordinators made the wedding planning process so much smoother, even through the multiple changes due to COVID. Their years of experience show in the care they take during the event planning process and the commitment to making your day everything you dreamed of. Silver Lake makes planning simple by offering customizable packages without any hidden fees or taxes, like an all-inclusive resort. Their large staff are professional and handle everything as instructed. I could not have been happier to have chosen Silver Lake for my day!

Beautiful Venue

We are SOOO excited to have our wedding at Silver Lake CC!! My family has done MANY other events with them. We have had numerous showers and benefits with them and they always make everything perfect. The food is fantastic, the views are beautiful and they have multiple rooms to choose from. Our wedding party is larger so we have both garden rooms and I know its going to be the best place to have everyone. They have been so helpful and communicative - to relax my stresses and guide me on all they will do for the day to take off my plate. I can'y wait for more to come together for our special day. --- They also sent us the CUTEST little package after we booked our date with them!

Wonderful Experience

Our daughter was married at Silver Lake Country Club, and we were 100% happy with the entire experience. From the early planning to the big day, the staff at Silver Lake made sure it was perfect. The wedding was 3 months ago, and guests are still remarking at how wonderful, dare I say perfect, the evening turned out. One guest has been in the service industry for 30 years, and raved about the waitstaff and bartenders. "I've never been to a wedding with such awesome staff before." All the food was delicious also! I would definitely use Silver Lake Country Club for any future showers or weddings I am involved with planning.

Wonderful service, beautiful venue!

Our experience with Silver Lake was fantastic. They have years of experience handling weddings, and it shows with their team’s professionalism, responsiveness, and know-how. We had both our ceremony and reception at the venue. Besides the beautiful West and East Garden rooms and gorgeous grounds, their team was on top of everything the entire night. The bartender remembered the bridal party’s drinks of choice. The waitstaff checked on all guests consistently. The food was absolutely phenomenal! The set up and take down was so smooth. There was staff on hand to make sure we knew where and when to be in our places prior to the ceremony. They were one step ahead of us the entire night in the best way possible. In the months leading up to our wedding, they were great at communicating with us and making sure all our questions were promptly answered. The entire evening was just beautiful and ran so smoothly and so much of the that is because of the team at Silver Lake. Even though they do this weekly with dozens of couples, we felt so special and important each time we spoke with anyone on their team. We would highly recommend their services to anyone in the area! Beautiful venue, fantastic staff, perfect wedding day!

We got married at the lakeside ceremony site and had our reception in the East Garden Room at Silver Lake at the end of September this year and it was perfect! From the moment we booked through the day of our wedding, everything was seamless. Amy and Janine do an amazing job of making sure everything is flawlessly executed. The grounds are beautiful, the lit up gazebo is magical, and the reception room is lovely and had just been freshly updated with new carpeting and a new dance floor, so everything looked great. If you are looking for a beautiful venue, fantastic staff, and a well-coordinated event, this is definitely the place for you. So happy we chose Silver Lake!

They help you every step of the way and make wedding planning easy- as if that's possible, right!? Well they do! They are pro's! Months after our wedding- we are still getting compliments on how great the food was; how hot the food was; how beautiful the room and courtyard looked, etc. We looked at so many venues and once we looked at Silver Lake- we knew right away that this was the perfect place to throw a celebration with our family and friends. Amazing Staff and Venue!!

We just go married at Silver Lake this weekend. Our ceremony was at Lakeside and reception in the East Garden. It was gorgeous!! Everything was absolutely perfect!!! The staff was phenomenal!!! They truly went above and beyond. They did things I didn’t even know I needed or wanted. They set up the room exactly how I asked, they saved appetizers for me and my husband since we were taking pictures during the cocktail hour. We didn’t want to be introduced with drinks in our hands, so we left them at the bar. They delivered them to our head table without us even asking. Amy was our wedding planner, and she was on top of everything!!! She truly made our wedding perfect and carefree. Oh! And they gave us a wedding gift. I was beyond impressed with everything!!

Wonderful Wedding!

My wedding was absolutely perfect! My husband and I got married on sept 15 in the West garden at silver lake. The facility was beautiful, the food fantastic, and the workers there were so accommodating. Amy was so amazing! She made time for us every time we made an unannounced visit in the months prior to the wedding. She was always available by phone and email. She was so personal to us I felt like she was my personal wedding planner. She had great ideas and tips but also was open to trying new things. She made us really feel comfortable because she clearly knew what she was doing. I didn’t have to worry about a thing on my wedding day! She was checking in on myself and my husband through out the day. At one point I felt like my curls were falling out and she went and found a curling iron for me to use. My guests said it was one of the best weddings they had been to. Their only complaint was that there was to much food! I highly recommend the filet and chicken plated meal. Silver lake was really fantastic to us. I will definitely look back at them when it’s time for a baby shower!

Silver Lake Country Club and their staff went above and beyond for my September 2018 wedding. From the planning process, all the way to every minute of my wedding and even the day after, they were accessible, accommodating, and made us feel so special. They walk you through everything step by step and are more than willing to make you weddding vision happen in any way they can. Not one single disappointment. Waitstaff, bartenders, wedding coordinators and management made you feel like every time you stepped foot in the building, it was already your wedding day. We loved that they set up our room for us the day of the wedding and placed everything so perfectly. They allowed us to pick up all of our items the day after and did not miss one detail. I cannot day enough good things about them. LOVED, LOVED, LOVED this venue, and my guests did as well!

We had our wedding at Silver Lake CC on 8/10/18 and I couldn't be happier with how our entire day turned out. We looked at comparable venues and none offered all of the perks for such an amazing price. First of all the team of people, they aren't just helpful and responsive, they're AMAZING!! Specifically, Amy, Janene and Linda made our day outstanding. We began with our ceremony in the west garden, which is stunning (no decor needed). Picture lush flowers, a water feature, arch and white chairs which are set up for you by the venue. After the ceremony we were able to take pictures on the golf course at sunset and there are so many beautiful back drops for your photographer to be inspired. Our reception was perfect! The staff makes sure to check on you throughout the evening to make sure everything is going the way you'd hoped. At dinner we served filet and chicken and got so many compliments on the food, it was outstanding. From the very first walk through, to the planning, and finally to the big day, we never once felt stressed. Silver Lake event planning staff has this down to a science! If you are considering Silver Lake as a potential venue, look no further. Great space for ceremony, great space for reception, amazing food, amazing staff, and most importantly beautiful & affordable!

We had our Son's wedding here. From 1st contact til when the wedding ended, the experience was wonderful. Amy and Janine go above and beyond for you. The food was excellent, all their staff are attentive. The grounds are stunning for an outside wedding. The cost is very reasonable. I got married on May 27, 2018 at Silver Lake Country Club. Let me start by saying that Amy and Janene were super responsive and super helpful. Second of all, the venue is gorgeous. The grounds and the interior - everything was perfect. I got married in the East Garden Room with a lakeside ceremony and I couldn't have asked for anything better. The food was AMAZING and EVERYONE complimented me on it. Pricing was reasonable and they even made my specialty drink of "Green Apple Moscato Sangria" and got Summer Shandy for my husband. They made sure everything looked wonderful and worked out. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. THANKS GUYS! - I'll post a picture when I get them back!

I cannot say enough good things about Silver Lake Country Club!!!! We visited 10 venues in 3 days and we booked SL because of their calmness and professionalism. Throughout the planning process and even up to the final meeting, they were punctual with responding to questions, concerns and giving advice. They made me feel so special and I trusted Amy and Janene with everything and they did not disappoint! The food was incredibly delicious, the grounds are beautiful and well kept and all of the staff were incredibly polite and sweet. I really had the time of my life!!!!!!!! Silverlake was the first and only venue I looked at for my wedding. I do not regret my decision. The staff is awesome and responsive to any all questions. The food was good and the view is even better. With their help I was able to switch my reception to the biggest room because my guest list surprisingly went over the limit of the middle room. They work with you to make sure your wedding day is as perfect as can be. I highly recommend them.

Working with Silver Lake made our wedding the perfect day that it was!!! Everyone from the first meeting to the very last were helpful, fun energetic and professional and worked perfectly with us to ensure our day was phenomenal!! Our guest continually raved about the meal, the staff and the room. The grounds were gorgeous even in October and at night to take photos. So well maintained and I can’t say enough about the flow of the day. They took care of EVERYTHING!! I had a bridal shower in the smaller room overlooking the fountain and the beautiful foliage. The staff has had excellent service and attention to detail right from the second I booked my event. The servers bent over backwards to help with any issues that arose and I can't say enough wonderful things about our event, I even had people call the next day complimenting our choice of venue. The food was outstanding and the promptness of attention of our needs was incredible. If your thinking about having any event at Silver lake Country Club I would highly recommend your choice. This was our eldest son getting married but I have two more and I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I would recommend Silver Lake Country Club for anyone planning a wedding. They were easy to deal with from day 1. Very flexible, responsive, and willing to accommodate any additional requests. Their prices are very straight forward....no hidden costs! The staff was great to work with! The bartenders were so nice and always ready to serve. We got so many compliments after the wedding on how nice the service was. The servers on the day of the wedding were so nice and kept checking in with both myself and my groom to make sure everything was as planned or if they could do anything else for us. Food was great. Even the set up of my dessert donuts and pictures for the memorial section we had was great. I didn't have anything special to display our donuts and when we arrived at the reception, I saw how awesome it all looked. I didn't have to worry about a thing because I knew everything was taken care of. I can't say enough about everyone at Silver Lake. We loved them!

Silver Lake was the perfect choice for our wedding! We were beyond satisfied with what we expected. From the staff, to the food, to the ceremony site and so much more- we were amazed at how it all came together. They were so accommodating to what we wanted to do- and let us show our true style. I couldn't of asked for a better venue to host my Wedding! Everyone was amazing, especially Amy, she was so helpful and creative. She kept me positive when I felt like losing my mind. Silver lake country club was amazing since the very first meeting when we were just looking for venues. We visited this location in the winter so we didn't get to see the beautiful flowers they have but still instantly fell in love with this place. Our wedding was July 22 and it was perfect guest raves about the food and how beautiful it was. The staff is amazing! And were there when every i needed. The price is great!

We just had our wedding here this past weekend and we have nothing but amazing things to say! From the first time we met last June through last Saturday, their whole staff was terrific. Amy is who really sold us and continued to make us feel comfortable while planning. Donna was a huge help the night of the wedding as well. I did not want to get married at a country club, but after attending a wedding of a friend at Silver Lake, we decided it was exactly what we wanted for our wedding... Now, I have no idea why anyone would want to get married anywhere but Silver Lake! I had such an amazing experience with them. EVERYONE you work with at Silver Lake is friendly and responsive and keeps you on task! They really want to make sure you have the best day possible, and they are so organized and helpful. We were married in the gazebo, and it was SO beautiful. We did not even need to decorate the aisle because they have flowers and decor outside.. The gardens are absolutely stunning, and you will get AMAZING pictures. There are so many places to take them.. Our reception was in the Garden room, and it is unbelievable how pretty the room looks with the large windows with the lights on the trees outside. Oh, and the food is AMAZING! So good. I worked with Amy and Janene with the planning of the wedding, and they were incredible - No matter who you're working with, they all keep the same notes and can pick up wherever someone else left off. On the day of, Linda and Jeff, staff members of Silver Lake, were not only helpful but SO enthusiastic and excited, which just made the day that much better. To top it all off, they have the best prices out of anyone you will find in town! Tax and gratuity is included in the pricing, and they will pay you back up to a certain percentage of people who don't show up the day of (which ended up happening in our case!!)... Where else can you find that?! I looked at other, more expensive country clubs in the area, and NOTHING even comes close. Silver Lake is not only a more beautiful venue, but also more reasonable. I can not say enough great things about them, and I am so thankful I had my wedding there.

Silver Lake Country Club is the perfect venue for any wedding! We had our wedding there April, 29 and it was absolutely perfect. All of our guests had nothing but positive comments! The food was fabulous, the pictures turned out amazing, and the staff was super friendly! If you are looking for a stress free wedding Silver Lake is the place to go! Amy does a wonderful job. Her vendor list makes finding limo's, florists, photographers, and DJ's a piece of cake! We chose all from her recommended list and everything went smoothly!

Such a great and accommodating place to have a wedding! Someone was always there to help and always making sure everything you wanted was taken care of. The people there are super nice! I am SO glad I found Silver Lake for my April 16, 2016 wedding! This place is up front about everything you will get in your wedding package -no surprise fees or hidden "Well, you can have that FOR A PRICE" shticks- and they are so willing to make changes and accommodations to make your day everything you want it to be. Not only that, but Amy, Janene, and Kelly were amazing to work with- they always had time for me randomly dropping by to see the lighting or calling four times a day for stage measurements and "can we have 3 tables of 10?" and were HAPPY to answer every question and put my mind at total ease. Not to mention the venues themselves, for ceremony, reception, and photographs, are simply gorgeous. I literally couldn't have asked for a better experience with my venue. In fact, my experience was so good, my best friend (and bridesmaid) is having her own wedding at Silver Lake next fall- I obviously could not recommend them more highly!

Silver Lake Country Club helped make our wedding one of the best days of our lives. They delivered with EXCELLENCE! We started working with Janene and finished up with Amy - both are excellent. Janene was very prompt, very responsive and extremely helpful. There was not one question that I asked that she wasn't able to accommodate. Planning a wedding can be very stressful so I really appreciate Janene's positive attitude and making all of our interactions stress-free. We had our tasting 7 months prior to our wedding and our food tasted just as fresh and delicious as it did on the night of our group tasting. SLCC staff is superb! Our wedding took place in the WEST Garden Room and we utilized the outdoor ceremony site in the back of the reception room. BEAUTIFUL view and the abundance of flowers were perfect for pictures. We appreciate the water infused with lemons that was available during our ceremony for guests. Our guests are still raving about the venue and food. During cocktail hour we ordered the pass hors d'oeuvres (shrimp jammers, bacon wrapped dates and spanikopita) and our guests are still mentioning how delicious they were. Overall, we definitely recommend this venue. Personal Touches: 1) The wedding party took pictures on the beautiful golf course grounds and the staff provided a large golf cart to transport us. 2) SLCC accommodated my husbands request for craft beer to be available at the reception. 3) SLCC provided everything we needed for our signature drink AND even drew the sailboat that we had left with our day of instructions. The Best Place Out There!

Silver Lake Country Club is an amazing place to have any special event. We could not be happier with the process of planning our wedding from start to finish with Amy, Janet and the team. The entire staff at Silver Lake was so helpful, kind, easy to work with, funny and calm--everything a bride and groom could ask for on their special day. The golf course was picture perfect and the newly remodeled reception room was elegant and beautiful (we especially loved the way the lights twinkled through the windows at night-so romantic). One of our main priorities was finding a place with good food for an even better price. The food at Silver Lake was incredible!! Our family and friends STILL rave about the exceptional service and delicious meal at our wedding. And we still can’t believe the price was so budget friendly-you will not find a better value anywhere else! We would recommend Silver Lake over and over again!

We celebrated our wedding on 6/25/2016, and it turned out PERFECT. We had our ceremony by the pond and our reception in the East Garden Room. so many guests complimented the beautiful location. Very accommodating and competitively priced!

My wedding was on May 29, 2016 and I cannot express enough on how great Silver Lake was! They made sure to not let me worry or stress about anything!!! We celebrated our marriage on June 24 and could have not asked for a better venue to accommodate everything we were looking for! The scenery is absolutely gorgeous around the golf course and around the gardens! The pictures our guests took and our wedding party took came out amazing! The staff at SLCC is what originally sold us on booking this venue. Amy and Janene and the whole staff made our day run so smooth and tailored our wedding to what we wanted without a blink of an eye! They were so friendly and helpful with all questions we had throughout the process. We had friends and family comment that this was the best wedding food that they have ever had! (We did family style). I would highly recommend booking this venue!

I looked everywhere for a local venue that was affordable and this was the best by far. Not only was it affordable but the food was good and the grounds were beautiful. I had a March wedding and the grounds were still green and well taken care of. The staff was friendly, organized, and accommodating. I appreciate their help and they were always quick to respond to my emails. I would definitely recommend this venue.

I just had my wedding reception at Silver Lake on June 10th and it was AMAZING! When looking for a venue my husband and I went all over the south suburbs and none of them came close to Silver Lake. The moment we walked in we were greeted by Amy, after just a few minutes of talking to her I felt as though I was planning a wedding with one of my girlfriends. Silver Lake made the whole planning process so easy and stress free. They are super quick to respond to emails and are so accommodating. The day of the wedding was flawless. The staff there knows what they are doing and are so professional. All of my guests raved about the food and how good the service was. We also were able to use the outdoor patio, which our guests loved. Long story short, you will not be disappointed if you book with Silver Lake!

My husband and I cannot say enough wonderful things about Silver Lake! Amy and Janene were incredibly helpful throughout the wedding planning process, and they made sure everything went totally smoothly the day of the wedding. I did not need to worry a bit about anything because they were so thorough and careful with the details. In terms of the venue itself, it is absolutely gorgeous! With all the windows and the views of the pond and the flowers, all of our guests were commenting on how amazing it was. They also were commenting on the food!!! We heard from tons of guests about how it was the best wedding food they had ever had, and I completely agree. Overall, everyone went above and beyond, including bringing the bridal party cold towels and water while we took pictures because it was over 90 degrees! I am so grateful we decided to have our wedding there, and I don't have a single complaint about anything!!!

We had our wedding reception at Silver Lake CC on 04/30/2016 and I couldn’t be happier with our decision! First and foremost, the entire staff there was absolutely amazing to work with! Throughout the entire process, they were so friendly & helpful. They always seemed to be willing to go above & beyond in order to make our night as memorable as possible. They were also so readily available to meet or talk with us whenever we had any questions. The food/drink service staff was hands down THE BEST service we’ve seen/heard of. Our guests won’t stop telling us how great the food was and how friendly and quick the wait staff/bartenders were. The venue itself was beautiful. We had a larger party so we had the entire garden room (both east & west rooms), which was perfect. The room was so spacious and we also had access to the awesome outdoor patio.
All in all, I would DEFINITELY recommend anyone to host their wedding reception, or event of any sort for that matter, at Silver Lake. Pricing was reasonable for the beautiful venue and awesome service that was provided! We knew the whole time we were in good hands with the staff at Silver Lake CC - They made the whole wedding planning ordeal as stress-free as possible.

I would HIGHLY recommend Silver Lake for a wedding. We had our reception there and everything was beyond perfect! From the very beginning they responded quickly to every e-mail I had with pricing, concerns, follow up etc. They were always on top of their game and were extremely helpful. They are so fun to work with as well. They made everything enjoyable and put us at ease. When we met them a couple days before the reception, we were able to drop off some items for the hall and they took care of putting the decorations out. Although we kept it simple, they did exactly what I had in mind and did not even have to go in to detail. We also used their shuttle to help our guests get to and from the reception. Everyone raved about the food and service! They helped make this the best day and I just cannot say enough wonderful things about them or this venue. They were affordable as well! I would suggest them to anyone in a heartbeat!

We were just married March 19, 2016 and Silver Lake was absolutely wonderful to work with! Janine, Amy, and Kelly could not have been more accommodating, flexible, or helpful! The room was gorgeous and they set everything up, even nicer than I imagined. Guests are still calling to rave about the reception, the food, and how beautiful everything looked. We'd definitely recommend them to any bride and groom!

My husband and I had our ceremony and reception at Silver Lake Country Club and we could not have been more pleased with how everything turned out. Not only are Amy and Janene (the event ladies) a pleasure to work with and will go above and beyond for you, but the whole staff was extremely accommodating and were real pleasure on our big day!
Just a little info about how detail oriented they are -
We decided to get married outside in the beginning of October, and go figure, it started drizzling. We were asked if we wanted to move the ceremony inside, but we felt the weather was still ok to have it outside. After I walked down the isle in the drizzle, I looked back and saw that there were a bunch of beautiful white umbrellas being distributed to my guests! They looked great in pictures and I know that my guests were grateful!
For the reception -
The room was beautiful and the food was delicious and the service was one of a kind! We even got to bring home the leftovers!! The bartenders were great too! One of them said that his specialty was martinis, so all of our guests loved going and getting to try all different martinis.
Oh ya! And the gardens are beautiful, and there are lights on everything, so at night, everything lights up and looks like a fairy tale!
I don't think that I would change anything about how our wedding turned out and I truly feel like Silver Lake Country Club was able to provide the wedding of my dreams!

We had our wedding in September and I could not have asked for a more beautiful venue! The entire event went smoothly and everything was more perfect than I could have imagined! This was all thanks to the wonderful staff, especially Amy and Janine! The food was absolutely fantastic everyone was raving about the food weeks later! Amy and Janine were extremely helpful in helping us plan the perfect wedding and making sure the day of the wedding everything went perfect! I would highly recommend this venue! I cannot say enough great things about everyone at SL. If you have any question, small or even you think may be insignificant, they will answer honestly and provide feedback. I never waited more than 5 minutes for an email or phone call back if someone wasn't in the office, which was rare. Without a doubt Amy, Janene, and Jeff are the best of the best. They are funny, personal, and will make sure your day is nothing short of perfect. Everything I asked was accomodared without question or hesitation. My wedding was the beginning of November and I had my ceremony outside. It was gorgeous and went so smoothly. They also had a backup plan of the weather didn't cooperate. They thought of it all. The food... Look no further. Everything was delicious and I am still receiving raving texts from our guests. Everything you want for your wedding will be found and done here. I feel like I am family now to Silver Lake and I couldn't be happier. My wedding was perfect.

The staff is beyond polite, helpful, and always smiling. Amy was EXCEPTIONAL in terms of helping organize, plan, responding to questions, ect. Amy has such a wonderful personality and truly enjoys her job which made this experience one we will never forget. We held our ceremony and reception here in August of 2015. Silver Lake is wonderful!

We saw the venue last year but we're told there were going to be renovations done, before our event. The old room was outdated due to the mauve color and light fixtures. They renovated it all, plus some! It now looks stunning and completely up to date.

The staff is especially wonderful. Amy is a no-nonsense type person who will get what you need done and with a smile. It was very easy to trust that what I was expecting would get done.

We chose the lakeside site for our ceremony because of the beautiful landscaping around and behind the site. To one side of the site is a hillside covered in a beautiful garden. The hillside blocks the view of the clubhouse creating an intimate site for the ceremony while still being in an open space.

For the reception we booked both the East and West rooms (there is a divider that can be added to separate them). The rooms have floor to ceiling windows looking out onto lit gardens.

We chose to go with the Family Style menu. It was like a mini buffet at each table. Friends and family first told us that I looked beautiful and we looked so happy, but their next compliment was about the food! Everyone LOVED it!

Silver Lake also worked wonderfully with all our vendors. Our photographer, DJ, and florist all told me how helpful and friendly the staff was. Some of the vendors had worked at Silver Lake before and some had not, all were impressed.

We were looking at a guest list about 300 and for Chicago venues that can be hard to find as well as very pricey. Silver Lake was a breath of fresh air with their straight-forward and affordable pricing. There were no hidden fees or "upgrading" your package to get what you wanted.

High quality service, delicious food/drinks, and spectacular views are just the start to what Silver Lake Country Club can offer. I HIGHLY recommend this venue to anyone looking to host a wonderful event.

We had our big day on 08.15.15 at Silver Lake Country Club in the west garden. My fiancé and I went to three other places but the moment we got to silver lake we knew we have found a home for our guest. We were not looking for a flamboyant banquet hall but an elegant place that offered intimacy. That was exactly what silver lake presented to us, a homely atmosphere.

They were very accommodating especially Amy and Jeanine. I took about, I don't know how many people, to check the place out. They all had questions and changes to be made with each visit but the staff were patient and effected all the changes for us.

Then it rained on my wedding day yee!!!!!. How beautiful and stress free Amy made that situation look and feel. To think that the favorite part of the wedding according to our guest was when they had to use their white umbrellas. Funny right, but that is silver lake for you. Guest can't stop talking about the food (yum) and the portions. Our day was so much fun we forgot it ever rained during the ceremony because our guest were in love with the atmosphere silver lake presented. Thank you to Amy and Jeanine especially for all the help in making our wedding unique. My pastor still talks about how unique it was.

If you are looking for a good place for a wedding silver lake is your best choice. Don't let the structure of the building deceive you just go in and see.

Silver Lake Country Club is a hidden gem located in the south suburbs of Illinois. I found this hidden gem by reading reviews on the Knot and the Wedding Wire. SIlver Lake CC is not only beautiful but affordable. I had a modest $10k budget, and I was able to have my ceremony outside at their lushful garden following a fun filled reception. People couldn't stop talking about the delicious food, excellent bar service, and beautiful banquet room. To my surprise, they were in the process of remodeling their banquet rooms so I was able to get all this before their rates go up. The staff are amazing and are accommodating from the planning stage to setting up for "the big day!" You can't get this anywhere else on a modest budget! Thanks for making my day unforgettable!!

We had a fairly small and simple ceremony and reception. We invited approximately 50 people and everyone made it to the ceremony/reception. Our ceremony started slightly later than we anticipated due to the weather but Silver Lake was very accommodating providing stylish white umbrellas to keep things uniform as well as telling us not to stress about our time slot, We were given the option of having our ceremony inside if the weather did not let up, but by the grace of God the rain stopped just long enough for us to have our outdoor ceremony. They provided the use of their golf carts to get our older guests to/from the reception area. There were lots of hors d'oeuvres, an open bar, and they provided us with a cake table as well as our photo/props table. The food was delicious and I wish I had gotten to eat more of it!

The renovated bridal room was great, it provided a lot of space for my bridal party to get ready and giving us privacy and just a place to relax before the big moment. My only wish would be if the groom's room was as nice as the bridal room. The guys only had the locker room (although my husband didn't complain).

The servers and bartenders were very attentive checking with us throughout the day/night to see if there was anything we needed. We would take the chef home if we were able as the food was delicious (Yes, I'm mentioning this again).

I never want to go through wedding planning again, but Silver Lake made the ceremony and reception a breeze, and I would recommend them to anyone. Which we actually have been doing already.

To top it off, we were surprised to receive a gift from Silver Lake on our wedding day. Thanks Amy and Jeanine for all your help it was much appreciated.

Amy was absolutely amazing from beginning to end!!!!! She was so down to earth and helped us thru the entire process!!! She went way above and beyond what she had to! She took my two year old niece on a nice long golf cart ride so that the bridal party could get pictures taken outside without having to chase her. She was there all day making sure we had everything we needed! Oh and the bridal suite to get ready in was wonderful!!! At one point there were three brides and their bridal parties downstairs getting ready at once and there was plenty of room!!! Silver lake is Definitely the place to get married at!! Beautiful grounds!!

From the moment we looked at Silver Lake, until after the wedding, everyone was so nice and helpful. Our ceremony was outside, and it was BEAUTIFUL! All of our guests enjoyed it. A golf cart was available to take guests who had problems walking, to and from the ceremony site to reception site. Everyone LOVED the food. I wouldn't have changed a thing! Amy and Janene were quick to respond to all of my questions and concerns. I just can't say enough good things about this place! The bridal suite was recently remodeled and was wonderful. This is just a gorgeous place to get married, and their prices are so reasonable!

I have had the most amazing wedding at Silver Lake! We had our wedding reception at Silver Lake in April. We live in Massachusetts and were planning our wedding out of town. They were great working with us over the phone and through email as well. They were quick to respond and gave us all the information we needed to make our reception great. They even stocked the bar with a few bottles of my husband's favorite rum free of charge. All of our friends and family absolutely loved all the food! We chose family style and the guests were raving about how delicious it was and how much they liked being able to pick and choose what to eat and how much. I would definitely recommend Silver Lake to anyone looking for a great reception venue with amazing staff who truly make the day about you and your husband.

Silver Lake was phenomenal throughout our entire wedding process. We had first met with Janene and she showed us around without being rushed through the tour. After booking, if we had any questions, they (Janene, Amy, and Jeff) were either answering right away or we received a call or email back very quickly. They accommodated all of our ideas/plans for the wedding day and offered suggestions to help make things run more smoothly. We had our ceremony at the outside chapel and they transported guests back and forth on golf carts. Our guests really appreciated it! Linda handled the day of our wedding and she was absolutely amazing. She made sure that the wedding party was happy and helped coordinate people and pictures so the bride and groom wouldn't collide before the ceremony. Overall, I don't think the day could have gone better. The site was beautiful, the backdrop in the East Garden room was amazing with the flowers and greenery during daylight and the white lights in the evening.

Comparing to other venues, I liked the way Silver Lake gives you an all-inclusive price (including gratuity and tax) so you know the bottom line before signing the contract. They also give a 5% no-show allowance for those guests who can't make the wedding at the last minute. We ended up getting a check back for that 5%.

Not a run of the mill Country Club, Silver Lake is set back from busy roads and intersections, a nice feeling of seclusion while still near to all the important stuff! I cannot say enough about how great Silver Lake Country Club was for our wedding. I worked with Amy and Janene during the planning process and couldn't have been happier with them. They respond to emails so fast and everything I asked them was a yes. I really spent a lot of time on decorations to make our reception unique and whenever I brought something up to them they had no problem with it. And they even seemed excited about it as well! Silver Lake even built me and my husband an entire smore bar for our wedding! It turned out beautiful and all the guests loved it! We had our reception in the West garden room which they just painted a more modern neutral color and one of the bar areas had brand new tile which looked amazing. The garden areas surrounding the reception room are also lite up with white lights which we loved. The food was excellent and the staff was so helpful and friendly the entire night. I would highly recommend Silver Lake for any future bride or anyone looking to throw an event.

We had booked this venue for our wedding in August but decided to cancel to have a more intimate wedding. If anyone is interested our date of Saturday, August 22, 2015 is now available! The ceremony site was to be held in the garden and I loved the room where our reception was to be held, it contained large windows that overlook a garden that lights up at night. Throughout this whole process the venue has been awesome. Promptly responding to emails whenever I had a question and giving us a list of recommended vendors. If I ever have the need to hold another event this will be the place we use. Hopefully someone can enjoy the date that's now available!

Silver Lake Country Club is a great venue for a wedding reception. Everyone loved the room (West Garden) and raved about the food. The staff was great to work with and accommodated all of our personal requests. Thanks again!

I can't find any negative things to say about Silverlake. They made my wedding and ceremony one to remember.

Besides all of the regular reviews you always read here is something little that stuck out...on your wedding day you probably will not eat much, if anything. Soup, salad, and dinner was coming out, speeches were being given, drinks were being passed out, pictures were being taken, and the bridal party was busy eating and talking throughout dinner. As the waitress came around, she asked me if I was done, I said "yes" and she said "no you're not." I looked at her and she smiled and told me she was a mom, and I needed to eat. It was going to be a long night and she was sure I probably had not eaten all day. So she left my plate, smiled at me, pointed at my plate, and walked away. I laughed, and started to eat. Something so little can mean so much. She did not have to worry about what I was or was not eating, but she did. Everyone was just so personable with not just us but all of our guests. We got married this year on May 31st. Our ceremony was on site outside and cocktail hr/reception immediately followed. I knew this was our place on the first visit. From their friendly and amazing staff, beautiful grounds, convenient location, and accommodations...we could not be happier. I am, well, a very indecisive person so I was constantly calling, asking questions, asking to come in, going over details...etc. The staff at Silver Lakes was always more than willing to help me with suggestions, let me come in whenever I wanted to see the room, and also knew exactly how to calm my nerves. I did not put much detail into my wedding for the simple fact of, less detail=less chances of things not going as planned. Silver Lakes is already so beautiful that I did not have to do much. Amy is absolutely positively amazing!!! She is honest, knowledgeable, accommodating, friendly, and just a really pleasant down to earth woman. She helped us feel at ease throughout our planning process and on our big day. I honestly did not have to worry about ANYTHING!!!! The staff, bar

We had our reception at Silver Lake, and we absolutely loved it! The staff was SO helpful and accommodated our every need. The food was great, and the drink selection was incredible. The staff even brought in cans of our favorite beer, Anti-hero, for us and our guests to enjoy. This was a fantastic place to have our reception, and we could not have been happier!
