Hiring Merrie with Silver and Sage was the best thing we could have done for our wedding! She was timely, efficient, and so helpful with her day of coordinating for our wedding.
From the start, she was extremely prepared and went above and beyond my expectations. She was ready with questions that I didn’t even know I didn’t know! Her attention to detail made everything run so smoothly the day of the wedding. She was the first there and the last to leave, and did not hesitate to be the “bad guy” when someone/something needed to be redirected or fixed.
We had a bit of a hiccup with our venue (our of our control), but Merrie was calm, professional, and did everything to not only resolve the issue, but ensure us that no matter what, our wedding would still be perfect. Her communication was very quick, and she had many amazing ideas that I would have never considered. She checked in with us throughout the wedding process and the day of in case we needed anything as little as a glass of water, to as much as changing something at the last minute because we changed our minds.
I would 100% recommend Silver and Sage to anyone looking for wedding planning/day of coordinating services. I can NOT imagine our wedding being as amazing as it was without her help and guidance. -

On our special day...Merrie and her staff were there early, and were one of the last to leave. Merrie is familiar with most venues, vendors, florists, DJs, bands, and anyone else that can add to your magic. Her no nonsense, sage recommendations will steer you away from trouble...and put you at ease both in the planning stages, and on your celebration day. She did exactly this for us. Merrie goes above and beyond making informed recommendations, she works with your other vendors coordinating every detail. Having her at your function is a guarantee that things will get taken care of. Would we recommend Merrie and Silver and Sage? Absolutely! Merrie is the sweetest person you could ask for to be by your side on your wedding day. We initially only reached out to her to be our officiant but hired her as our day of coordinator as well! My husband and I wanted a short, simple, and sweet ceremony without personal vows. Merrie crafted a beautiful and personal ceremony script for us with vows for us to repeat. She exceeded all expectations.
Our wedding was on a hot summer Temecula day, and Merrie always made sure to keep us hydrated while we were out taking our couple photos. She would grab anything we needed from our bridal/groom suite and ensured we were comfortable throughout the day. Merrie has a calming presence and reassured us that everything would be perfect on our special day. She stayed on top of every detail, ensuring that all vendors adhered to the timeline. We couldn't be happier that Merrie was part of our wedding. -

She worked well with the other vendors. She was punctual, professional, and confident. Our day was truly magical and we owe it all to Merrie and her assistant Olga 👏 She is a remarkable human being, and a talented coordinator. We hired Merrie as our officiant and day-of wedding coordinator and couldn’t be happier with our experience. We liked her from the very first phone call and knew that we would be a fit. As our officiant, she did an incredible job in putting together a very real, beautiful, and heartfelt ceremony. As our coordinator, she was organized, communicative, and always willing to help. She often thought of things and presented options that we hadn’t considered and helped us with a lot of decision-making when we would get stuck in a rut. Merrie helped take a lot of pressure out of the wedding planning as she kept us on track, and kept us calm! We would absolutely recommend her to other bride and grooms! Five stars! -

Merrie was absolutely amazing. I was so overwhelmed when I started planning and then along came Merrie. She is so knowledgeable about every detail, vendors in the industry and how to make your day perfect whilst still staying in budget.
Every meeting we had prior made me feel so at peace with the day and everything being under control.
The day of I felt so special, from having my food and drinks ready when I sat down, guests attended to, and making sure I was hydrated and fed all night lol. VERY IMPORTANT.
the one thing that went “wrong” in the day was lost cake plates from myself but you know she swooped in before it was too late had them all ready to go and saved the day.
She helped from set up to tear down and I can’t thank her and her team enough. Please book her for your big day so you can feel royalty treatment too! -

Marie was the one to complete my dream wedding. From our very first conversation when I heard her angelic voice I knew she was the one. We are so happy we chose Merrie for our wedding! She was very thorough in answering our questions and very responsive! We chose to have a non-traditional ceremony in the sense that we had no wedding party, just parents walking us down the aisle and therefor didn't do any sort of rehearsal but Merrie did a Skype call with us to walk us through everything beginning to end and then did the same with us once we were all together on the property which made everyone feel at ease and it went great! I cannot recommend Merrie enough, so helpful and reassuring! -

Silver & Sage Weddings was amazing!!
Merrie was so awesome. The script for the ceremony was so amazingly perfect for my husband and I. We even received many compliments from guests as well saying how loving the ceremony was.
We had to re-plan our wedding and Merrie was so flexible with the location and date change. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for an Officant that provides you with a short, sweet, and moving ceremony. She’s also very responsive and great to communicate with. It was absolutely perfect. -

Merrie is an amazing officiant and did an above and beyond the job at leading our wedding ceremony. Firstly, Merrie wrote an amazing ceremony. She helped us personalize it so that it fit us perfectly! Next, the day of my wedding she saved the day by knowing how to tie a corset back and led a quick lesson in getting me into my gown and making it fit flawless and look flawless. She was the grounding voice I needed when I felt as if I was going to unravel and led our ceremony perfectly and cried and laughed along with us in our vows. She is truly remarkable and I couldn't have asked for anyone better. Thank you for being a part of our day Merrie, you were truly a blessing! -

Amazing Officiant, Exactly What We Were Hoping For
Merrie was our officiant for our May 2021 wedding. She's very professional, she wrote a perfect ceremony, she did an incredible job during the day of our wedding, and was super helpful and supportive throughout the whole process in the months leading up to our wedding. Merrie is just a very nice and easy going person in general, so working with her is very stress free and easy. She took the time to get to know us and understand our relationship, and put together a ceremony script that did a good job reflecting who we are as a couple. In addition, she has lots of helpful advice when it comes to writing vows and practicing the ceremony. Planning a ceremony and writing vows is obviously a stressful/nerveracking task, but Merrie takes quite a bit of the stress out of the occasion. And on top of all that, Merrie gave us a very affordable rate. I'd recommend Merrie to anyone who is looking for an officiant. -

Last Minute Savior!
We only had a few months left before our big day and our original officiant bailed! We were in a panic until our wedding coordinator sent us Merrie's information and a few others but she was the one who stood out the most to me! She was so eager and willing to work with us on short notice and we truly think she did the best job! We loved how original she was with our ceremony and how helpful she was every step of the way! I expected Merrie to be a great coordinator, she was very kind and attentive on our phone calls leading up to the wedding. She knew what she was talking about and was very organized. The day of the wedding was very different.
1. First, she was late to the wedding. Her assistants were there on time and she was about 30 mins late (we payed for a 2nd assistant). 2. Second, our chair/linen vendor was late and my sister had to call them. Merrie did not take initiative to figure out where they were. This was what I felt from her through most of the day. She did not get stuff done despite having 2 people to help her.
3. She did not coordinate the timeline, my wedding started late and kept falling behind. She only checked in with me once around 9:50 AM to ask if I needed anything. She did not make sure my hair/makeup or photographer kept to the schedule. She did not come back until a few minutes before the ceremony!!
4. She told me my dad's toast had to be postponed because he had a 15 minute "Sermon", to which I said ok, 15 minutes is too long. When my dad realized he was excluded, he went up the DJ to ask to be introduced to give his speech, I then asked him how long it was, he said about 3 minutes. I asked the DJ to let him give his toast and it was definitely around 3 min. I was about to cut my dad out because of information Merrie gave me, I trusted her. If my dad wouldn't have insisted I would've missed out on hearing him on my wedding day! She also changed the order of the toasts last minute and threw everyone off.
5. Merrie did not coordinate the DJ. We missed out on having our last dance be private because of this. Additionally we wanted to play wedding games that the DJ had to MC. This did not happen.
6. She told the caterer that he could leave all of the dirty dishes in the kitchen and pick them up the next day. This was against the rules and I could've lost my $1000 deposit because of this! The caterer and a venue personnel member both confirmed that Merrie gave the caterer permission to leave the dishes. I found out about this about 30 minutes before my final walkthrough. My husband and his brother had to load up ALL of the ~500 dishes into a van in 30 minutes so we would not be charged $1,000. I sent Merrie a copy of all of the venue rules prior to the wedding so she had to know this was wrong.
7. I had to sober up and do the final walkthrough for the venue after the reception because I no longer trusted Merrie. She was sitting down along with one of her assistants during cleanup, absolutely not coordinating anything.
Merrie and her assistants went up to me several times during the reception to see if I needed a drink or give me tips on how to sit with my dress, but they did a terrible job coordinating the event. I did not need someone filling my glass, I needed someone managing my wedding. Even my mother had to take time away from getting ready in the morning to help organize the setup for the reception. This made her run late for the ceremony, obviously. Not to mention that the groom, groomsmen and other family were also helping set up. If Merrie needed more help for setup to run smoothly she should have communicated that to me prior to the wedding, and she did NOT. We went over who was setting up what in detail prior, so this was discussed.
In conclusion, I do not recommend her. She is a nice person but does not get the job done. I truly did not expect any of this. -

Scam artist
Do not book this person !!!
We booked with Merrie and had high expectations . She canceled on us tje week of our wedding and stated an injury and I was referred to someone who she said was a good friend. I contacted this person and she told me that Merrie had done this to 4 other couples recently. After waiting patiently for my deposit back, I still have not received it. She said she would give it and then kept extending the day and we received nothing . And of course she stopped responding to messages. Do not book this person! -
