  Personalized perfection

  Chris met with us at various points beforehand to truly understand what we wanted from our special day. He suggested things we hadn’t even thought of. His experience as a photo journalist added a unique flair which we were delighted by when we got our photos. We can’t say enough about Chris and Silk City Photo.

  Photography to Last a Lifetime

  Chris photographed our wedding this past year and he was amazing in every way. Everyone felt so comfortable with him and the pictures he captured took our breath away.
  We had split chapel/venue locations and Chris help staged family portraits before we left for the venue and was there before us to capture beautiful couple photos before our entrance. He is so easy to work with and works around your schedule/plan for the day.
  You cannot go wrong working with Chris and will look back on these photos for all the years to come.

  Couldn’t have been better.

  Chris was professional and a pleasure to be around. He quickly became a part of our wedding party ! He gave us so many wonderful options with his creative and beautiful photos we didn’t know which ones to choose. I would recommend Chris over and over again.

  Amazing Country Style Wedding Photos

  Chris was amazing on our big day! He spent the entire day, from early morning to early evening capturing every important memory. He was so fun and kind, and every guest complimented how he interacted with them in such a professional way. Our photos are amazing! We would recommend Chris to any bride and groom!

  Go with Chris!

  Chris immediately put my husband and I at ease. We weren't used to getting photos taken, but he helped settle into the practice.
  Our photos were amazing and family/friends continue to compliment us on them. We wanted truely great photos with minimal filters, which he nailed. He captured all of our special moments. I couldn't recommend him enough.

  Great and easy experience!

  We planned our entire wedding for start today finish so I had tons of anxiety that something was going to go wrong ! Chris was a calming presence for me and made me laugh and relax ! His photos captured the entire day and every detail. It was everything I was looking for and more !

  The way Chris interacted with my family and wedding party during photos was calm, organized, pleasant, funny, and had these subtle ways of making people look and laugh in photos. He made the experience fun and laid back which is what a wedding day should be!

  Authentic memories captured

  Not only are Chris' photos stunning, but he had a knack for documenting the special moments and subtle interactions that made our wedding ours. I look back at my photos and remember all the moments that were warm, solemn, hilarious, anticipatory, exciting, and beautiful. He truly captured the range of emotions and personalities and I will treasure the photos forever.

  Incredibly Talented & Professional Photographer

  We were so happy to have Chris photographing our wedding. We both love his style as a photographer with his more journalistic or documentarian approach to getting great candid shots of the wedding party and our guests. Not that he isn’t completely capable of handling the standard friends and family lineup shots, too, of course, but his friendly yet straightforward and unobtrusive method captures candid moments full of personality and atmosphere much more effectively than many more traditional wedding photographers could. It was great having him “embedded” with us if you will for a couple of days to record so much, so vibrantly and so effectively. I can heartily recommend Chris as a skillful, creative and professional photographer with an excellent eye for those details you really want to be preserved.

  Chris photographed our wedding long ago, but he was amazing!!! I am SO very happy with the pictures (and so many years later!) and he is THE MOST WONDERFUL HUMAN! Long story short, he arrived early, the chair delivery people were late, and he helped my dad and my brother SET UP THE CHAIRS for our wedding!   Chris' photos from our wedding 17 years ago are still cherished today. He's a super-down-to-earth photographer's photographer with an immaculate eye for documenting the big moments, but it's his ability to capture the small gestures that set him apart for me.

  Chris is an extremely personable person and photographer. He has a distinct ability to capture your personality as well. He always seemed to be in the right place at the right time. I love how he utilizes natural light. His photographs are beautiful, artistic, and truly unique.
