I had such an amazing experience finding my wedding dress here. From the moment I walked in, the shop was absolutely beautiful and had such a welcoming, special atmosphere. Amy made me feel so comfortable and truly made the entire experience unforgettable. She had dresses already pulled and prepared based on what I liked, which made me feel so cared for and understood.
Trying on dresses felt fun, relaxed, and emotional in the best way because of how kind and encouraging she was throughout the appointment. She made me feel beautiful, confident, and genuinely celebrated during such an important moment in my life. You can tell how much thought and care goes into every bride’s experience here. The staff was SO helpful and personal! There was a big selection of dresses in different styles and I was able to find one that made me feel like a princess! Silk Bridal was so helpful! We were able to get an appointment last minute and they were able to squeeze us into their schedule.
Amy was incredibly sweet and caring. She has a great eye and did a great job matching my needs with dresses she thought I’d like. She ended up choosing the dress I picked.
It’s clear that Silk Bridal takes very good care of their dresses to avoid damaging the dresses (can’t even say that about other studios I visited in the area).
The dress was very affordable and you will get nothing like the quality and workmanship that was in Silk Bridal’s dresses elsewhere. I would have had to pay more for my same dress elsewhere. Could not recommend Silk Bridal more highly. Amy really went above and beyond my expectations.

Found the dress, when I didn't think I would
I found my dress at Silk and had a fantastic experience. I honestly have about 5 dresses that made making my decision very difficult. There were a few moments where I didn't know if I would be able to make a decision because everything they had in stock was amazing. They were open and upfront about the pricing and conscious to stay within my budget which was appreciated as that was not the case at other boutiques. I could tell that Amy knew a great deal about their inventory and what would flatter me. She made it so fun and listened to what I liked and didn't like. I truly cannot recommend them enough. Go straight to Silk Bridal and find your dress on your first appointment

I loved Silk! I went to a few different stores to try on dresses, and by FAR Silk Bridal Studio was my favorite. Amy called me ahead of time to understand my style, budget, and preferences, and when I arrived, she already picked out beautiful gowns that I loved! She did not hesitate to allow me to look for & try on more from her store. She even styled me with accessories which really helped me figure out which dress I loved most. the best experience! first and last stop for my wedding gown
I highly recommend Silk Bridal. Both Amy and Evie are incredibly kind and knowledgeable. I gave them some insight into what I was looking for, and they pulled a beautiful assortment of gowns to try on. They nailed my style and body type! I tried on about 10 dresses during my first fitting, and left with several favorite options! I went home to think about it, then returned in a couple days and left after that second appointment with my wedding dress. I have already recommended them to a friend who is also engaged, and will continue to recommend this fabulous mother/daughter bridal studio to anyone I know looking for a wedding dress.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Silk Bridal Studio and my experience with Evie! From the moment I booked my appointment online, everything was seamless. The booking process was simple—I entered my wedding date, dress styles I might like, and my size. Scheduling on a weekday gave me the entire studio to myself, making the experience feel intimate and special.
Walking in, I had no idea what I was looking for and wasn’t confident I’d find a dress I loved. Evie took the details from my booking and had a selection of dresses waiting for me. The very first one she picked turned out to be the one!! Of course I still tried on at least 12+ others (some multiple times!) and never felt rushed. Evie was patient, kind, and incredibly supportive throughout the entire process.
With my elopement less than two months away, finding a dress quickly was a priority. Silk Bridal Studio was perfect because I was able to leave the same day with my dress. Evie also recommended Ms. Jean for alterations, who was just as amazing and had my dress ready in no time.
Silk Bridal Studio is a hidden gem. The selection is stunning, the prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Silk from start to finish! I initially picked out a dress I wanted to try on, and they quickly ordered the sample. The staff was incredibly attentive and picked out a few more dresses based on my preferences. Thanks to their expertise, I found the perfect dress! I was even able to leave with it the same day. Silk was recommended by a friend and I said sure why not. I was not expecting to actually find my dress that day, but I went home with one. I loved working with the team! They were so supportive and patient. A lot of shops will feel very "car salesman-y" because they want the sell but I didn't feel that pressure at Silk. The Best Bridal Shop Ever
Silk Bridal saved my wedding! The seamstress that was making my wedding dress skipped out on me the day before my wedding but the ladies at Silk Bridal did not panic. They reassured me and said they have gotten brides in their dress the day of their wedding. They helped me find the perfect dress and referred me to the best seamstress Ms Jean who altered my dress that same night. They truly saved my wedding and I am forever grateful. Go see them ladies! An amazing experience!
I was running behind in my planning and had to find my dress within 2 months. I tried several dress shops that just couldnt fit me in. Silk Bridal was recommended by one of the shops. When i got there. Both ladies were extremely accommodating me made sure to make me and my family feel welcome and comfortable. I tried on several dresses and found the perfect one for my beach wedding. They even provided a list of alteration shops (If in Norfolk, I highly recommend Betty Jefferson). I cannot say enough about the incredible experience I had at Silk Bridal Salon! This was an experience like no other. I visited several boutiques, but had to honor to work with Amy and purchase my dream dress at Silk. From the beginning, Amy nailed the style I had in mind. She was extremely knowledgeable not only about her inventory, but also about what shapes and cuts of dresses worked best for my body type. Amy made dress shopping fun and once I found “the dress” I immediately knew. She didn’t push me to spend more money and was truly invested in ensuring I was happy with my choice. I returned the following week for an accessory appointment, and was able to find the perfect veil to compliment my gown. Silk has an incredible selection of designer dresses and styles to choose from, not to mention a wonderful selection of all the accessories you’ll need for your big day. As a first time bride and someone that never really put a lot of thought into my wedding, it was really great to work with Amy and Evie. I love the though of second-hand wedding dresses but what makes their company amazing is that they also offer special order wedding dresses as well. I absolutely loved my experience at Silk Bridal. First, I am neurodivergent with sensory issues and the staff made me feel so welcome. I love the size of the studio because it’s not overwhelming and I ended up going for a dress that Silk chose for me! Their taste was better than mine. My partner and I had a blast finding her wedding dress at Silk Bridal Studio. They had a fantastic selection of dresses, and the attendant helping us made the whole morning so fun and cheerful and lovely. They had already pulled some dresses before we arrived based on the information we provided in their form and a phone call, and they continued to adjust and pull more dresses based on what she felt good in. We never felt rushed or pressured to make a decision, and they gave me and my partner's mom clothespins so we could look through the racks and mark dresses we thought she might like. It was a super fun, stress-free day, which was very different from the sale-focused/high pressure experience we had at another bridal shop. Highly highly recommend if you're looking for cozy, fun vibes!

An amazing small bridal business
This was my first [and only] dress shop I went to with my mom and best friend. I was only budgeting $1,300 or less for my dress so consignment was on the table. I used to work as a consultant in a bridal dress shop and can confirm, Silk Bridal provided top tier service. From the booking, they did not require an upfront charge which I appreciated and when we got there they had selected gowns ahead of time. They let me browse as well in case I saw anything else that stood out, and I did, and I ended up walking out with that dress same day. I also walked out with a veil and hair piece to complete the look! All of this came out to just under my budgeted amount. They were patient, friendly, and we loved sharing this special moment with them. They helped us celebrate saying yes to my dress with champagne and it was just simply wonderful. I highly recommend Silk Bridal if you’re looking for a warm experience with so many dresses at a great price point.

Silk Bridal was wonderful. They pulled several dresses for me and listened to the aspects of each that I liked and didn’t like until we found the perfect dress. There dresses are in great condition even though they are pre-worn, and if there is a defect they will work with you to correct it. The prices are much more manageable and the dresses are still name brand. My dress was a Lillian West, and was about $600 cheaper than the original cost. My dress is in perfect condition and because the gowns are pre-worn you are able to take it home that day. I am lucky and my dress does not require sizing alterations, but if you do need those services you will need to find a location to do that.

A Dream Becoming Reality
The studio was very elegant and petite. So many dress to choose from, but from beginning to end the dresses that were tried on were stunning though not what I was looking for. During the process, my party and I thought we were getting close to THE ONE with the dresses that they were pinning for me to try on. There were two great contenders but there was something missing. Although each dress had their own unique designs, they weren’t giving me the feeling of wow. Until I tried on an Essence of Australia dress that had fit every curve of my body, the beading, the lace and SPARKLE I’ve been looking for. To really make the dress I put on my wedding shoes, got a veil on and everyone lost it. It was stunning. I had FINALLY found my dress and I could’ve have found it with out my girls and Evee. The experience of always being hyped up in each dress and going through the pros/ cons of them, helped with the decision making and in the end finding the perfect dress for the perfect day is so magical. I HIGHLY recommend Silk Studio for all the right reasons!

I did not expect to find my dress during this visit—but here we are! My consultant took great care of me and my family throughout the entire experience! I was a total novice, had no idea what my style was or what I was looking for and she made it such a fun experience, rather than a daunting one. I cannot recommend Silk Bridal enough!

Absolutely Magical Experience!
I honestly can’t sing enough praises about Silk Bridal. The most charming family owned shop, from the first moment I walked in with my guests we all felt incredibly welcomed and taken care of. Evie was so incredibly kind, patient and professional. Every single dress that I tried on, she would intently listen to my critiques and notes and desires and would then help me try to find more dresses that fit exactly what I was looking for. I had an incredible time and genuinely felt like she helped make my experience fun and easy! The shop has such a wide range of beautiful dresses and I’m so happy that I was able to find mine there! If the experience there wasn’t enough, a few weeks later I received a handwritten thank you note in the mail from Evie congratulating me on my dress. Wonderful experience at a wonderful store with wonderful staff :)

Great experience!
I had a great experience at Silk Bridal. I didn't know what I wanted, and my consultant Ellie was terrific! She had me try on different silhouettes until I found the one for me. She also helped me with a veil and provided a nice list of tailors who can adjust my dress. I highly recommend checking out this great boutique.

Wonderful Dress Shopping Experience
I had a lovely experience with Amy! The store has two entrances. We came through the back entrance. They put my name on the board in the front which was super cute! I worked with Amy and she was super nice! I got to look through dresses which they have wide variety of options. This store has a different taste from the others. The dresses are unique. It being a consignment will really help you save on getting a dress but still getting a top quality dress. One dress I loved which was ALL beading was only $700. I was SHOCKED. I did not say yes to the dress here but I would highly recommend making an appointment and seeing their selection. I did end up buying some hair pieces which were also on sale and beautiful. I attached photos of the dresses I tried on so you can see some of their selection.

A wonderful shop!
Based on what we talked about prior to my appointment Amy pulled a couple dresses for me and I ended up picking one she chose for me. I was worried since they are primarily off the rack dresses that they wouldn’t have much to choose from but they had a really nice selection. Overall, I had a really good experience and would definitely recommend Silk Bridal. :)

No Better Choice
This mother/daughter bridal salon is AMAZING! They picked out some wonderful wedding gowns before I even got in and one of them ended being THE dress. It's a small boutique, with a personalized and family feel. You will have all the attention on you. The other upside is that the prices are great. My dress was a consignment dress but they also have non-consignment. For the experience, price and attention - you can't make a better choice than coming here :)

I found out I was pregnant and couldn’t fit my previous wedding gown. Via Instagram Silk Bridal their associates were very responsive with my inquiries. I was able to call and ask additional questions they had beyond what I was lookin for. I was able to find a beautiful gown to accommodate my pregnancy bump. To top it off people that seen my previous dress said my second dress looked better!

Amy and her daughter made the perfect team! They were patient, professional, and a joy to be around. I am so glad that I was able to find my dress at Silk. Getting married with only a 6 month turn around, especially finding a dress, can be tricky but we made it happen! It was amazing to be able to order a dress with a custom hem - a life saver! I am barely 5'1" so being able to be measured in advance so the waist and hem of the dress hit at the right length without being tailored saved time and money. Cannot recommend enough!

We went here as our last shop, it was quite the reprieve. We were exhausted from trying on dresses all day, Amy was super helpful, you can tell this is her passion. Dress after dress we tried until the last one, which I said YES to. She had champagne for a celebration toast. The price was right in my budget and she gave recommendations for alterations. I was about to cancel my appointment
I had visited two different shops earlier in the day and had just about had enough of trying on dresses that did not seem to fit my "vision". I am so glad I didn't because I found exactly what I was looking for at Silk. The dress is absolutely beautiful and because it is consignment, I was able to get it for basically half the price. My appointment was with the owner of the boutique, and she did everything she could in order to make sure my experience was phenomenal. I definitely recommend Silk Bridal to every woman searching for her perfect wedding gown.

Wonderful visit! I had a couple of places that I visited hoping to find my perfect dress. I didn’t think I’d actually have that perfect moment where I knew that I found my dress. It wasn’t until my serving visit there that I stepped out of my comfort zone and found the one. I actually started crying. They called ahead of time to get a feel for my style and by the time I arrived for the appointment, Evie had already picked out some dresses for me to try on! They had an awesome selection and I ended up finding the perfect dress. Evie was extremely helpful in the ordering process and she went out of her way to ask for a custom color combination. I went to Silk bridal with my mom and sister and had the most amazing time. Amy and her two daughters were running the store and they created such a fun and homey atmosphere. Amazing experience!
With only 3 months to plan my wedding on a very tight budget, knew a majority of bridal studios were out the question. I did some research on second hand, consignments and sample sales and I found Silk Studio. Evie was so awesome! Just with the minimum details I gave her over the phone about what I was looking for (because I truly had no clue), she picked out some amazing dresses before I got there with the one I chose being one of them that was right in my price range. I was not expecting to walk out with my perfect dress that day! Evie made it the most seamless and stress free process and I’m so happy I found them!

I had the best time. It was a very relaxed and comfortable experience. I got to try on so many dressed and it was a very enjoyable time! Their variety of dresses is extensive and I bought mine off the rack. The owner convinced me to try on the dress to which I "said yes", cause I wasn't about to buy a beaded dress. I trusted her instincts, and she was right! Silk Bridal helped make my wedding dreams come true! Budget friendly and bride approved!

Helpful, and attentive.
I came here in October 2019 for a dress for a 2020 wedding. Unfortunately the dress was not worn until 11/06/2021. I don’t remember who helped me specifically but they had so many different options and were very helpful! It ended up being complimented the entire night! Thank you.

Highly recommend silk bridal!
Evie was wonderful to work with! She has picked out several dresses before I arrived at the shop based on the description of my venue and the look I was going for. I ended up choosing one of those dresses, even after trying on many in the style I thought I wanted. She was very patient and mindful of my budget. And the studio itself is bright, beautiful and comfortable. I highly recommend Silk Bridal!

Amazing experience
This shop was amazing! Every dress was beautiful and it made it very hard to pick since all of the items were such great products. They definitely added the personal touch and made the entire experience so very special! I highly recommend this place, especially if you need your dress sooner rather than later! Stress-Free, Easy Experience
I was nervous to make an appointment with any bridal studio, due to my limited budget (and because I had no idea what it would be like). My friend gave me the idea of looking into a bridal consignment studio, and after researching a few places, I liked Silk Bridal because they had great reviews and I saw a few dresses online in their store that I liked. When I called to make an appointment, they were very friendly/helpful. They had a lot of options to look through in my size, and the studio itself is so cute. I ended up bringing home a wedding dress my first appointment; it was almost like a lot of the wedding dresses I had pinned on pinterest (lol) and it was below my budget. Now I just have to get it a little altered to fit me perfectly, but totally worth the easy experience I had, and I love how eco-friendly and budget-friendly this studio is.

The Best in Virginia Beach!
The service was everything I could have hoped for when it comes to wedding dress shopping. We were able to take our time, sort through dozens of gorgeous unique dresses, and toast with champaign at the end! Not to mention the reasonable prices. I could not recommend any more!

Finding my wedding dress in one afternoon
One day I called up Silk Bridal Studio on a whim and they were able to take me as a walk-in appointment that afternoon. Everyone was so helpful, especially Hayley who helped me find a beautifully unique dress in less than an hour! Very friendly, down to earth environment and gorgeous dresses! I can’t wait to wear my gown!

Absolutely amazing experience!
Amy absolutely exceeded my expectations for dress shopping! I anticipated it being stressful, however it was so much fun and she did a wonderful job of selecting a variety of gowns. Being plus sized I was concerned, however there was plenty of selection and I felt beautiful the entire time. Of course the best part is I said yes to an amazing dress for an amazing price!!

Such a great place! Each of the ladies in the studio was helpful and super friendly.
So very pleased with my experience at Silk bridal! I found the dress of my dreams each of the ladies were very professional and welcoming. They didn’t force their opinions of each dress on me, they asked good questions that helped me choose the dress that best suit me.
