Signature Sweets by Amanda created a beautiful wedding cake for us! We tasted many other bakeries before landing on her and once we found her, it was an easy decision! Her cakes were not too sweet which I liked and the texture was just perfect. She was very flexible in working with our budget and had great suggestions for flavor combinations! She is such a talented designer and does absolutely beautiful work. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for an excellent cake/dessert vendor! -

Amanda at Signature Sweets was absolutely wonderful to work with! She was so nice, easygoing, and made the whole process effortless. We asked her for a small cutting cake, and I just sent her a few inspo pictures—she took it from there and created a cake that was not only beautiful but incredibly delicious.
We couldn’t stop eating it and continued enjoying it for about a week after the wedding—it was that good! We can’t wait for our 1-year anniversary to thaw the rest of the cake. I highly recommend Amanda for anyone looking for a stunning, tasty cake. Your sweet tooth will thank you!

Amanda was fantastic, really made the whole experience fun. We had a dessert table for our wedding, and did a tasting with Amanda (which was the most fun part of wedding planning that we had - highly recommend doing that for any of you who are debating). Desserts were fantastic, loved the bite-size nature, super easy to grab one or two and get back on the dance floor. They all turned out great. The peanut butter brownie shooters went instantly. We also had Amanda deliver and set-up the desserts, and that went amazingly, as well as her being very helpful about colors, and flowers to make the dessert table look fabulous. -

Our entire experience with Amanda was flawless from beginning to end. We did a dessert tasting to confirm what we already suspected - the desserts really were as delicious as they looked! It was easy to make changes from our initial proposal, and Amanda was really flexible about making some of our items gluten free for our guests who needed. Our dessert display on wedding day was STUNNING, a perfect addition to our decor. Our guests loved every bite they took. My husband and I took home the left over desserts and even a couple days later they were mouth watering. The raspberry cheesecake shooters - 10 out of 10! In addition to our dessert display, we had a single tier cutting cake which was also to die for. I loved the customization that came with Amanda's cake flavors - it was essentially like building your own cake. We couldn't recommend Signature Sweets by Amanda more! -

As skeptics of the wedding cake in general at first (thinking it’s just a symbol that no one really enjoys eating), my wife and I were more than pleasantly surprised with Amanda and Signature Sweets when we hired her for our wedding cake earlier this year. Would highly recommend working with Amanda for your wedding cake if you want something that tastes as awesome as it looks – with a super easy to work with vendor as icing on the cake :)
The design and initial planning process was super easy working with Amanda. The range of offerings and flavors was comprehensive but not overwhelming, and her communication was clear throughout the process. My wife had initial ideas of how she’d wanted the cake to look, and she found it super easy working with Amanda to get the right design landed. The simple floral design was clean and elegant when we saw the cake on the day of.
We also had some doubts on what flavor to go with, and Amanda’s recommendation of a chocolate cake + hazelnut filling was such a hit with the wedding guests. The cake itself was very tasty – so tasty in fact that neither my wife nor I were able to find any cake leftover for ourselves when we wanted some more. The cake was moist, and just the right level of sweetness (many other wedding cakes we had tried before were just way too sweet or dry). Even our parents who weren’t fans of cakes in general had high praises for the cake!
With all of that said, would highly recommend hiring Amanda to provide the cake for your wedding day! You can’t go wrong here. -

A no-brainer for all of your baked treats…
We worked with Amanda for our October wedding and were absolutely thrilled with how she executed our vision! The cake was stunning and equally as tasty and the dessert bar was a favorite among guests old and young! I only wish that we had ordered more! Amanda was responsive and easy to work with, probably one of my favorite vendors. I look forward to future birthday cakes, anniversary treats, and her yummy fall box. Amanda was a JOY to work with! We chose to go with a dessert bar for our wedding, and it was one of the best decisions we made! Communication was fast and easy from the very beginning. She gave us her honest advice on how much of each dessert to order, which turned out to be absolutely perfect. Every single treat was beyond tasty, and our guests could not stop raving about the desserts. A few of my bride-to-be friends even asked me for her information, to reach out to her. :) One of the sweetest touches was that Amanda set aside a box with a little bit of everything for us, knowing how easy it is for the bride and groom to miss out on the food during the celebration. We loved it so much that we’re already ordering her dessert boxes for the holidays! This was one of our favorite parts of our wedding, and we highly recommend! -

I cannot recommend Amanda enough. Throughout the entire process, Amanda was kind, easy to work with, and played an important part in making our special day memorable. I live in France, so our tasting had to be a year before the wedding, but she was more than happy to accommodate and continued to accommodate all of our questions leading up. The desserts themselves were so tasty, beautiful, and not too sweet. Amanda even made sure to put aside a box for my husband and me so we wouldn't miss out on eating our desserts, which was such a good call because our guests absolutely DEVOURED every dessert she made and couldn't stop raving about them. June 6th Shadow Creek Wedding
Amanda made the most delicious wedding cake for us. From our cutting cake to the large sheet cakes served for our guests, everyone said how much they enjoyed the sweet dessert. The buttercream frosting and lemon/raspberry cake was just amazing. I have some left over in the freezer for special occasions and our One Year Anniversary, and I can’t wait to enjoy it all over again. -

My daughter’s wedding cake and dessert table from Signature Sweets by Amanda were everything we dreamed of and more! Not only did everything look stunning—truly a work of art—but every bite was absolutely delicious. We had so many guests raving about the cake and desserts, with several saying it was the best wedding cake they’ve ever had!
Amanda worked closely with our daughter to design a cake that matched her theme and colors beautiful and helped her select a perfect mix of treats for her dessert table. From macarons to mini cupcakes to custom cookies, everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.
The entire process was smooth and stress-free, and Amanda was so kind, professional, and easy to work with. They delivered and set up everything perfectly, so we didn’t have to worry about a thing on the big day.

Highly, highly recommend Amanda! She is such a talented pastry chef and baker, and we loved all of the desserts for our wedding. We did a cake for about ~50 people and a dessert bar, and both were a hit - which we weren’t surprised by at all, because we had the hardest time choosing our cake and dessert flavors at our tasting because everything was so good! Her full package comes with setup, cake stands and dessert display boxes/trays, and breakdown at the end - the dessert bar looked too good to eat, and her cake design knocked it out of the park. She is top notch. -

Amanda was such a pleasure to work with during the planning process. She was very patient with my indecisiveness along the way and answered all of my questions. She also coordinated with the florist so she could be there to personally put all the flowers on our cake.
Her cakes are TRULY delicious!! We are not huge dessert people, but after the cake tasting, I felt like I had missed out by not trying the rest of her desserts! She offers a variety of different flavors that you can mix and match and her prices were fair. HIGHLY recommend using Signature Sweets by Amanda. -

I initially reached out to Amanda because my husband and I were thinking we wanted a dessert bar at our wedding and Signature Sweets has so many options to choose from! We ended up finalizing a variety of cupcake flavors for our guests and a small cake for he and I.
The hardest part was narrowing down flavors for our tasting because the all sounded delicious, and then finalizing the cupcake flavors because every pairing we tried tasted delicious. I'm gluten free, and Amanda was super accommodating to make all cakes for our tasting gluten free. My maid of honor, who's not gluten free, came with us to our tasting and both she and my husband said they couldn't tell the difference between the gluten free and non gluten free items. For anyone who's gluten free, sometimes breads and desserts can be a bit dry, but her gluten free cakes are dense and moist.
We received a lot of compliments from our guests- they were such a hit we didn't have any to bring home! -

Amanda is simply amazing!
Our wedding cake was a stunner from the inside out. We selected the 4/6/8 size and the cake could stand on its own at the reception. It made an impact on our guests who stopped to take a few photos. Our guests later shared that they loved our cake--it wasn't too sweet and out shinned other wedding cakes they've had. We ordered the vanilla cake with strawberry cheesecake filling for two layers and chocolate cake with a raspberry filling for one layer.
Amanda was wonderful to work with, she was realistic and honest so I understood what was possible. I'd recommend getting in touch with her quickly, her deliveries were all booked when I reached out 6 months before my wedding. While she was booked for deliveries on my wedding day, she was able to allow us to have the cake picked up--we just drove slowly to the venue (30 minutes away) and the cake made it safely. She constructed a lovely box for its travels.
I can't wait for another event so we can order another cake from Amanda! -

Amanda and her team were a pleasure to work with throughout our wedding process. Communication was quick and responsive, and it was very easy to arrange a tasting and then iron out the details of our order with Amanda. We had a small, simple, personal cake for us (the bride & groom) and an assortment of mini desserts for our guests. Our guests loved all of the bite-sized treats so much that we didn’t have any leftovers, and our lovely cake looked so sweet adorned with the toppers we provided (little cardinals, because we are birders). The slices that we did not eat at the reception (or freeze for our anniversary) made for a delicious reminder of a beautiful event as we unwound in the days following the wedding. -

Absolutely Delicious!!!
Pretty much the best desserts I have ever had! My husband still dreams of her cake donuts. Amanda was wonderful. Her tasting menu was great, she explained all the desserts and her personal recommendations. We ordered her dessert bar option. Overall beautiful set up at the venue, highly recommend allowing her to set up the desserts. I only wish we had ordered more!!! We did order the recommended ~3 mini desserts per person for the dessert bar but unfortunately they all went super fast and a few guests did not get an opportunity to try a dessert. Overall though, do not hesitate to hire Amanda! Perfect desserts! -

My husband and I loved working with Amanda for our wedding. She did an incredible job with our cake and the dessert bites she made for our wedding. Her flavors were head and shoulders above the rest of the bakers we considered for our wedding, and our guests raved to us about the quality of the cake and desserts for weeks after our wedding. Amanda was attentive to our needs, theme, color scheme, guests, numbers, vision, and preferences. She made sure to take note of our likes and dislikes and went above and beyond!
At our tasting, we tried so many incredible desserts, and she was knowledgeable about the different options and helped us select the best assortment of desserts and wedding cake flavors for our day. She exceeded any expectations we had. Our guests raved about the flavors and incredible presentation.
The attention to detail was evident in every bite. The wedding cake was a true masterpiece, visually stunning, incredibly moist, and flavorful. It wasn't like any other flavors we've tasted and was unique.
Communication with Amanda was seamless throughout the entire process, and she made it easy to work with her during an already stressful wedding planning time.

The Perfect Wedding Cake!
Working with Amanda during our wedding planning process was an absolute dream, and somehow her cake was even better! Amanda provided great guidance and flexibility during the planning process, helping us pick out the best cake for us. At the tasting, we sat down for perhaps the best day of wedding planning, getting to sample multiple cake and icing options. We were able to select two flavors (which our guests all loved), and worked with her to design our three tiered cake. On our wedding day, the cake looked and tasted amazing. Delicious and GORGEOUS
Amanda was beyond wonderful as a vendor, extremely professional and helpful with her tasting and set-up/scheduling. Plus the desserts were SO GOOD - our family and friends loved that we could have so many varieties, there was a gluten-free option, and the desserts disappeared so quickly (even before the actual cake cutting!). Plus Amanda included so many cute shelves/containers and everything for the table that really make it pop. Would 110% recommend her and her desserts for your wedding! -

She has great communication and really went above and beyond by helping me find the right pieces to make my dessert bar come together since her rentals were already booked for another wedding that day & working with my florist to pick up florals to put on the cake the day before since she wasn't going to be there herself to set up. I truly appreciate her dedication to her clients! Since booking her for my wedding I've even purchased her other cakes / dessert boxes and will continue to do so since they are so delicious! -

Signature Sweets By Amanda is amazing! Amanda was so kind and easy to work with when we needed to find a new dessert option for our wedding last minute. The dessert display was so elegant and was exactly what we had hoped for. The desserts themselves were delicious (we had two types of shooters, tarts, and donuts on display). We wanted a dessert bar for our wedding and Amanda was a recommended vendor by our venue.
Her menu is huge! After much debate, we selected two types of donuts, key lime tarts, macarons, and Oreo shooters.
The spread was amazing! It not only looked impressive, but tasted absolutely delicious. The hardest part was keeping people away from the dessert bar before it opened. It was well worth the wait!

Amanda is a joy to work with! She made our wedding cake exactly how I envisioned it. She offers a lot of cake flavors and truly cannot go wrong with any of them. I had a tough time deciding because they were all so good! We went with an almond cake with raspberry jam and vanilla buttercream for our cutting cake. Our sheet cakes were chocolate with brown sugar cream cheese icing. Our guests loved both! It's amazing how moist and delicious the cakes were. We also had a last-minute change in guest count and Amanda was really accommodating with changing the amount of cake we needed. -

My sweet photographer Jennifer Nolan sent me Amanda's fall treat box to celebrate booking her, and one bite into her mini chai donuts and I knew I had to book Signature Sweets by Amanda for my wedding. It was such an easy process to book, Amanda and her team really provide you with all the information you need to decide what would work best for your wedding. I had a brunch wedding with very non-traditional vibes, so a dessert bar and cookie cake were perfect for the occasion.
Everything was stunning and delicious, the guests are still talking about all the dessert bar weeks later! I definitely recommend adding on the styling because Amanda and her team know what they are doing - so worth it. I will recommend Signature Sweets to any bride or for any event! -

Cookie cake of my dreams!
Amanda made my wedding cake dreams come true!
Chocolate chip cookies are my absolute favorite dessert. I reached out to Amanda to see if she could make a tiered chocolate chip cookie cake for our wedding, and I was thrilled to hear she had made one before! She sent me pictures and it was exactly what I wanted.
We also hired Amanda for a full dessert bar and it was a HUGE hit- everything went by the end of the night!

Amanda and her team at Signature Sweets were AMAZING! My husband and I used Signature Sweets for our wedding on 12/3/2022. We booked with Amanda in early 2022 and communication was flawless throughout the year. Making changes to our dessert bar menu was a breeze, and Amanda and her team were willing to work with us as we changed our minds probably 3-4 times (too many delicious options, we couldn't decide). Guests were in awe of the dessert display and the Chai Donuts were a HUGE hit! I highly recommend Amanda and Signature Sweets to everyone! You won't regret it. -

Absolutely delicious AND stunning!
Amanda did the dessert bar and wedding cake for our January 2022 wedding. I had seen her work at other events and was pretty sure I wanted to work with her before we were even officially engaged! The tasting totally confirmed that—everything we tried was absolutely delicious, and we had a hard time making up our minds. We even added 1 more dessert to our dessert bar than we had initially planned so we wouldn’t have to decide. She gave such good advice about what to include to appeal to everyone’s tastes, and it was a huge bonus that she offers gluten free options. On our big day, she set up the dessert display beautifully and did a stunning job adding florals to our cake. Our guests loved everything they tried. Still drooling over the dessert bar and cake at our wedding months later! I’m so glad that we did a full tasting prior to the wedding because the dessert bar went so quickly that I only snagged one piece. Each item was perfectly crafted and her display pieces tied together perfectly with our venue’s aesthetic.
Amanda designed the most gorgeous semi-naked cake with brush stroke pops of color that perfectly matched our wedding colors. It was exactly what we wanted! And it was incredibly delicious on top of looking amazing.
We also had Amanda create anniversary desserts for our parents, who celebrated their 30th and 40th wedding anniversaries this year. My parents, whose anniversary was just a week after our wedding, loved the mini chocolate cake - they walked around eating it face first. My husband’s parents loved the cookie cake as well. We knew that we had to do something a little special for them via Amanda’s desserts after they didn’t stop talking about the tasting for months afterwards.
Amanda is crazy talented and we look forward to ordering from her again in the future! -

Where do I even begin with these desserts?! Every single item Amanda has to offer is better than the next. When we did our tasting I was completely blown away. We actually ended up adding additional desserts to our dessert bar after the tasting because we just could not decide, everything is SO delicious!! We knew from the beginning of planning we did not want to do a wedding cake because we are not huge cake people, so a dessert bar was the perfect choice for us. We did a combination of donuts, dessert shooters, tarts and cookie bars and I honestly can’t even decide which is my favorite. Guests were raving about the desserts and Amanda does such a great job setting everything up to look just as good as it tastes! An absolute MUST HAVE vendor
Working with Amanda at Signature Sweets by Amanda was the BEST and easiest decision that we made for our wedding. I lead into this review with saying we are dessert people and sweets were an important part of our wedding. We originally did a tasting with our caterer but once we had our tasting with Amanda there was no other choice. Not only is Amanda delightful to work with but she is a wizard and has so many options, all of which are amazing, that will please everyone. Tasting was intimate and we got to try various options and flavor combinations and we were even sent home with a large assortment of goodies to have. Once we selected our items, we had a proposal drafted up quickly and we were all set. Between then and the wedding I asked several questions, all of which Amanda and her team answered quickly which was much appreciated. About a month before the wedding I reached out to Amanda and asked if she wanted to let her creative juices flow and design the cake for us however she’d like. I am a control freak and am 100% a Type A personality and me asking her to design as she wanted just shows how much I trusted her. The design that she came up with was beautiful, totally different than what we could have thought up on our own, and most importantly, tasted amazing. I remember looking up while I was eating dinner to see a line of people already waiting to get some of the desserts Everyone raved about the dessert bar and cake and there were barely any leftovers if any at all. If you book with Signature Sweets by Amanda you will not be disappointed. -

Gosh! Where to begin...Amanda was recommended to me by so many of my friends as she does all of their cakes for their events. Even so, she was SO far away from my venue that I didn't even know if it would fit my budget. So we looked at other cake vendors and after meeting with one other vendor, I knew I needed Amanda. When I say from the start of talking to her to the end of the wedding night, she was no less than amazing, Her and her team walked me through so much and helped me make so many decisions. ON TOP OF THAT, she drove the many miles from Warrenton to Prince George, Va to set up AND take down my cake and desserts.
That being said, let me just say Amanda's desserts are PHENOMENAL. They taste so freaking amazing. Everyone was asking if I had leftovers they could have the next day. They still tasted freaking amazing the day after as well! Furthermore, she exceeded my expectations by delivering the Harry Potter themed wedding cake of my dreams. I recommend Amanda a thousand times over. If you have any doubts, BOOK AMANDA! I know we will be for sure. I still have dreams about the carrot cake cupcakes!! Yum! -

Perfection!!
Amanda is such a great person. My wife and I met her months before our wedding. She was very friendly and such a sweet person. After trying her samples and meeting her choosing Amanda to make the cake for us was a no brained. We cancelled other tastings immediately. Speaking of sweet so was the wedding cake, groom cake and shooters she made for our special day! We could not ask for a better cake and neither could our guest. Everyone agreed that this was the best cake they had.I would recommended Amanda to anyone and guarantee she will not disappoint.
