Most Fun Ever

We hired DJ Mike for our wedding at the Delaware Park Marcy Casino and he was absolutely fantastic. He knew the space well and had all the equipment needed to set up in the rose garden, inside, and under the tent for dancing. He was amazing to work with; our meetings with him were fun and put us at ease while also being incredibly informative. Even though we were planning our wedding from out of town, we never had a difficult time getting in touch. He made sure we had everything planned and running smoothly. He also understood exactly what kind of music we wanted and everything he played was spot on. Everyone had an amazing time and friends/family are still raving that ours was the most fun wedding they've ever been to. We largely have Mike to thank for that!

Best DJ around!!!

Mike was the most amazing DJ we could have asked for. He is extremely professional, pays so much attention to detail, and he brings the party!! Mike went so far beyond our DJ expectations at our wedding!

When we set out to choosing a DJ, we were mostly just looking for someone who could keep the party going and was on point with good music. Mike was much more than that! His responsiveness to emails and the planning system they have set up for selecting and removing songs made the lead up to our wedding much less stressful. On the day of the ceremony, he showed up several hours early and began setting up. Leading up to the ceremony, he kept in constant communication with both of us and pretty much become a pseudo wedding coordinator by helping keep the schedule moving and ensuring we both had everything we need. The music during the ceremony was exactly what we had chosen with no issues for timing or lost sound (I really appreciated that he bought some of the odd songs we requested instead of just streaming from Spotify so we knew internet/quality wouldn’t be a problem). As the reception and dancing got going, he always had the right song based on the vibe of the room and the dancefloor, again keeping things moving with various dances and dessert cutting. He coordinated with our photographer throughout the night as well to make sure everyone was on the same page, so my wife and I didn’t have to worry about it. He set up some awesome uplighting for the dancefloor that blended well with the music, it surprised us since we originally thought we wouldn’t really like uplighting…we were wrong, it was awesome. One of the best parts on top of all this was his flexibility to add more time to our night 5 minutes before we were supposed to end originally since we wanted to keep the party going and most of the guests were still there. I can’t thank and recommend Mike enough as a DJ, he went way beyond our expectations and helped make our wedding a blast!

Amazing overall experience

Mike Setlock, Signature Entertainment, DJ'd our wedding reception at Resurgence Brewing Company in Buffalo, December 2021. The entire experience was excellent! Mike is extremely organized. Leading up to the event, we had conference calls, as well as using his client portal, to update details (names, dances, song requests, etc.), which made it super easy for Mike to lay out how the evening would go. He really directed the whole night and everything was on time and went super smooth. Music choices were OUTSTANDING, he played a great mix of the styles we'd discussed, our dance floor was going strong the entire time. He played some hits, some deep cuts, we couldn't have asked for anything better. All of our guests and us really enjoyed him, his energy, his presence on the mic, his control of the room, his ability to read our crowd. His up-lighting made the entire space look great. I would highly recommend him. The cost was very affordable as well, we would have easily paid 2-3x more for the experience that we got. Thank you Mike for make our night awesome!

Skilled, Professional, Great Person!

Michael was amazing! He is definitely a great DJ/MC and on top of that he is highly professional and a good person. He also has an impressive setup. From just a few song requirements on our end, Michael was able to mix together a well-blended playlist that lasted the whole night! Our venue was in Shea's lobby which can have guests spread out over a wide area. Michael was familiar with Shea's layout and was able to connect to the speakers throughout Shea's. All of our guests were easily able to hear Michael announce the major traditions at our wedding so that none of our guests missed our important moments. My wife and I highly recommend him if you are looking for a wedding DJ/MC.

Do yourself a favor.. Book Mike Setlock!

From our first meeting with Mike, we immediately felt like we were in good hands! He has an incredibly organized online planning system that helped us think through our wedding timeline... not just our songs.

My wife and I were planning our wedding from out of town, and Mike's communication was a 10/10. Throughout the process, we had a bunch of questions, and he was always happy to hop on a call or send over a quick email reply!

Our wedding morning was a bit hectic... as these things usually go. However, Mike showed up early and prepared. We had a unique wedding venue / layout, and Mike wasn't phased. His setup looked awesome!

Throughout the night, the dance floor was packed, and Mike was a great MC! He even grabbed us drinks as we were chatting with guests during dinner! Stop reading this review and book Mike!

Such a positive experience!

Mike was a fantastic choice for our wedding DJ--professional, fantastic at keeping the reception timeline moving, and great at engaging the crowd and getting everyone involved in the dance floor. I even sent him an email before 6AM the morning of my wedding to flag a change we needed to make to our ceremony music, and by 8AM, he had called me, and we had everything worked out so I could relax for the rest of the day! Just a great guy who loves what he does and is very good at it. We also loved the added touch of the uplighting in our venue that Mike included in our package. Highly recommend Mike!

Go with Mike!

Mike was absolutely phenomenal from start to finish! It can be tough to find someone reliable in the DJ world, we read a lot of terrible reviews on various sites. When we first reached out to Mike he replied almost instantly to set up a phone call. We initially spent a good hour on the phone which put us ease. After that call we knew that we had to hire Mike. We were looking for someone who would keep the crowd pumped up the entire night, he did exactly that! He honored all of the crazy song requests and made sure that our playlist truly represented what we wanted. I would recommend Mike over and over again!

Best Day Ever!

I can’t say enough good things about Mike! From the beginning we were given access to Signature Entertainment’s user-friendly software, that allowed us to pick songs for our special dances, as well as request songs we wanted to hear throughout the night of the wedding. Mike also accommodated us and created a special dance for my in-laws and my grandparents to honor their 30th and 50th anniversaries. Mike really knows what he’s doing when it comes to the flow of the music for the night and how to keep a crowd on the dance floor, so definitely listen to his suggestions! The wedding night was an absolute blast. The music he chose in addition to our selections created exactly the vibe we were looking for, and the dance floor was packed the entire night. Our guests told us it was the most fun wedding they had been to all year!

Mike is extremely thorough in his work - he spends time to ensure he is clear on your exact expectations which makes for a very smooth event. He is helpful in song recommendations and the use of his online portal made planning easy (especially since we were planning from out of state). Mike was extremely professional and coordinated the entire wedding party for entrances to the reception. He checked in with me multiple times throughout the night to make sure I was happy with the music. Everyone had a great time on the dance floor. Worth the investment for a fun, no stress evening!

Mike is amazing!

Mike was a great addition to our wedding celebration! He was very easy to work with and listened to all of our concerns. We had to make many changes to our original plans, including a change of date and venue due to rises in COVID-19. Mike was very understanding and stuck with us the whole way!

His interactive website to help build your own set list was easy to use and was an easy way to make sure our favorite songs got played! He played music that kept people on the dance floor all night! He also does a great job with his lighting!

We would recommend Mike to all couples looking for a fun reception!

The best wedding DJ!

Finding a good wedding DJ was very important to my husband and I. We knew we wanted DJ Mike Setlock at our wedding after we heard him DJ at my cousins wedding. Mike was the first person we booked other than our venue!
Mike was extremely responsive during our entire planning process. He encouraged us to email him with any questions we had, and our meetings were very detail oriented. His online planning system was so easy to use and included everything we needed to plan our music/reception timeline.
Mike made our night SO fun. The dance floor was packed all night long and everyone had the best time dancing. The music was exactly what we hoped it would be. He honored some of our very specific requests. SO many of our guests have contacted me specifically saying how awesome he was!
Thank you Mike for making all of our wedding music dreams come true! We are so appreciative and have so many wonderful dance floor memories because of you. I highly recommend Mike Setlock to anyone who needs a wedding DJ!

Great Wedding DJ!

We had a great experience hiring Mike as our wedding DJ. First off, it was nice to know the person we were talking to was actually the person who would be at our wedding. He also had a really convenient client portal on his website where we could build out a lot of our event details and pick songs. Congrats, you've found your DJ!

First, I have to say that my husband and I originally booked Mike for a 2020 wedding date and when the pandemic hit Mike was not only communicative and reassuring as we were deciding whether to cancel/reschedule (we did), but he also held our 2021 date for us no questions asked. Now onto that 2021 date! Mike was AMAZING!! He supplied the music/sound for our outdoor ceremony and our reception. His system is super compact/inconspicuous, wireless (important for outdoor events), and has amazing sound quality. We used his mics for the ceremony which included someone reading a poem over the phone into a microphone and it sounded perfect - though to Mike's credit, it's because he took the time to do mic checks with the reader, our officiant, and our videographers before the event (something I never would have thought of!). The whole time leading up to our event Mike was always responsive and talking with him on the phone always made my husband and I even more excited for our day. We held several calls leading up to our event (we were not local) and he even had a separate phone call with our videographer to discuss microphone feeds into the camera and to generally make sure all the tech would run smoothly. That's just one example of how he really went above and beyond what I would considered is "expected" for a wedding DJ - by the end of the event it really felt like he was part of our party! In terms of planning, his website is super easy to use and it actually helps you lay out the musical "tone" of your wedding; you can even sync up a spotify playlist. Also, something that we didn't consider when booking a DJ but that we realized we lucked out on with Mike is that you really need a great MC for your day and that is Mike - he led our guests from the ceremony to the cocktail hour, made announcements throughout our reception to keep everything flowing according to plan, and even organized our sparkler send off like a pro - you really will be able to just enjoy your day because Mike's experience and professionalism will put you at ease. Now on to the music! The dance floor was packed ALL NIGHT, which was a feat because we had a really hot day. The music was so good no one cared about the heat and it was clear that any fears of nobody dancing were not going to be an issue with Mike leading the evening. He put together a perfect list of fast and slow songs and was really able to "read the room". Also, the uplighting was so much fun - our guests loved it!! We received so many compliments on the music and on Mike in general. We really can't say enough good things about Mike so if you've made it to the end of this review I wouldn't waste any more time in reaching out and booking him.

Top notch service with mike!

Planning a wedding during a global pandemic is NOT something brides dream of, and it's uncharted territory for both couples and vendors alike. From the very beginning, Mike was professional, flexible and truly had our best interests in mind. From our initial phone consultation to our final check-in, I was confident that Mike would give us a night to remember, and DID HE EVER! A little different than a usual wedding since there could be no formal dance floor - but Mike made the best of it and kept the jams flowing all night for a one of a kind magical evening. Spectacular Uplighting & Music

Do yourself a favor & hire DJ Mike Setlock! Your night will be one your guests won’t stop talking about. Dance floor was filled, dynamic uplighting was impressive & the wedding ran so smooth because of Mike! Last minute changes & sound checks were done without a second thought. He checked in on us throughout the night and kept the party going. Upgrade to the wireless uplighting, which changes colors with the music or with the mood you want to set. Dance party wedding!

Nothing but the best!

Mike was our first vendor that we hired for our wedding. He was more than willing to meet us face to face to see if we were a good fit. We immediately connected with Mike and knew it was meant to be. Our wedding took place at Rosebud Estates in Arcade, NY in October 2019. Mike provided ceremony and reception support. Mike is super detail oriented and made sure to double check name pronunciation and timing with us prior to the wedding. He provided helpful suggestions when relevant, but let us be the driver for the vibe we wanted. Mike's online platform is brilliant that allows you to input certain must play, do not play songs, etc. He uses that to build the rest of his playlist for the evening. He did such a great job of reading the crowd and keeping the party going. So many of our guests commented on how great he was and what a great dance party it was! He went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for us, including assisting with some sound support for a performance by the bride. The up-lighting is a must for a large venue like Rosebud. Mike is professional, friendly, and the best DJ around. Thanks again, Mike for everything! DJ Mike Setlock

Mike was the glue that held our wedding together! He set the mood and energy with a perfectly planned (and collaborative!) playlist, and also helped keep everything on time. From our first phone call with him nine months before the wedding to working with him day-of, he went above and beyond to make sure all our needs were met.

More than just a DJ!

Mike took the stress out of wedding planning! He has the experience to pull off a flawless event and he worked hard to make sure that everything went exactly as planned! Not only that, he provided us with planning software to help keep the wedding day organized and make sure that our favorite songs were played. We planned our wedding from out-of-state and Mike was always available to speak with us over the phone. He helped keep us on track with the wedding planning process and on the day of the wedding he took the reigns and coordinated with all of our vendors so that we didn't have to worry about anything! That was truly priceless! He kept everyone on the dance floor and also provided awesome up-lighting for our venue. So professional, fun, talented, and reliable. We got so many compliments from guests about the DJ. Easily worth every penny!

The best DJ in WNY!!

Our wedding was just over a month ago and I'm still hearing people talk about how great of a job Mike did and how much fun they had. From the first time we talked to him he was extremely professional and answered any questions we had very quickly. He was great with all of the requests we had! We even sent him polka music to play and he coordinated music for our balloon drop. He was so accommodating and professional!! Throughout the reception he made sure to check in with us to make sure everything was exactly as we wanted. He helped to make our wedding absolutely perfect and I cannot recommend Mike enough. I had absolutely no stress or worries when it came to music; he handled everything perfectly!! Thanks again Mike!!

Amazing!

Working with Signature Entertainment was incredible from the start.
During our initial call with Mike, we knew we picked the right DJ for our big day. Right off the bat he was excited, enthusiastic and so kind.

When it came to planning with Mike, he made it a breeze. His online system was simple, yet efficient, and it made it so much fun to pick songs. We also didn’t have to pick every song. He hand tailored a song list that went PERFECTLY with the handful of songs we chose.

On the big day, Mike was awesome. He was excited, loud (in the best way possible), had a great vibe and everyone was thrilled with the music. It was perfect.
My bridesmaid even booked him for her wedding next year!

I definitely recommend Mike for your wedding, or any other event you might need a DJ for. You can’t go wrong with Signature Entertainment!!

Amazing...

I knew I wanted to hire Mike Setlock immediately after my first inquiry. He was responsive, helpful, and answered all of my questions in a timely manner. As the wife of a house music DJ, the music was something that was very important to us when planning our wedding. We didn't want to scare the crowd away with our eclectic tastes, however wanted the type of music we love integrated into our wedding. Mike did an AMAZING job listening to our concerns and and on our wedding night and kept the dance floor going until the end. His online system made everything so easy during the planning process.

We also added Mike's up lighting service, which really set the mood during dinner and on the dance floor and looked absolutely stunning. He did a great job with all of the announcements and seamlessly got people from the dinner table to the dance floor (We all know how it can be like herding cats sometimes!)

I am so happy we found Mike, and so happy he was able to make our wedding dreams come true!

Perfect day!

Mike made our wedding day perfect! Throughout the entire experience he was very attentive and professional. Our guests enjoyed the music he played and had a great time! It was nice not having to worry about anything because he had it all under control with the wedding coordinator and everything went perfectly! Wedding DJ

Mike was absolutely fantastic to work with as our wedding DJ. He was extremely helpful and attentive throughout the wedding process, with a great online system as well as telephone meetings leading up to the big day. He spent the time getting to know us which really showed with our music choices on the day of! Our music was exactly what we wanted, which reflects his attention to detail! All of our guests loved him as well as his uplighting which made our venue even more beautiful. Additionally, he sent the playlist after for a keepsake which was such a sweet afterthought! We would absolutely recommend him for others!!

You can't go wrong with Mike and Signature Entertainment.

One of the hardest things for me to decide on with our wedding was a DJ and I am so thankful I found Mike ! His organization, attention to detail and fun loving personality took the stress out of planning the music. I live about 1500 miles from my venue and never once had to worry about Mike and the music. A Full Dance Floor

Mike was the perfect choice for our wedding. I think when you hire a DJ, you are looking for two different qualifications: an excellent DJ who gets the party started and keeps people on the dance floor and a master of ceremony who keeps track of events during the reception and makes sure everyone knows what's going on. Mike performed both roles beautifully. Even before meeting him, Mike was so full of a wonderful energy that made my now husband and I even more excited the day of. He listened to what was important to us and kept us informed and updated the day of. All we had to do was enjoy the big day!
The space was absolutely beautiful. Do yourself a favor and opt in for his lighting package. It really does change the ambiance of the whole room.
Mike also has an online platform where you can make sure he has all the appropriate information for the big day. It was so well organized, I felt comfortable letting my husband take care of that part of the reception planning (which allowed me to gain some of my sanity back).
As for the dance floor- people were dancing the whole.night.long. If I could hire vendors all over again, I wouldn't have gone any other way. Thanks Mike!

Dancing All Night Long!

Mike was absolutely fantastic! As our guests were leaving many were to chimes of "Best wedding ever!" and a lot of that has to go to Mike who's ability to keep a room going was incredible. We got to dance with friends we've never seen dance before, family members to songs all generations could enjoy with just enough slow dances to bring me and the new Hubby together for a moment to breathe.
Mike was extremely attentive to all our questions and needs in the long months leading up to the wedding. His first phone call got us set up on his awesome! (I REPEAT....AWESOME!) online tool that helped us pick songs we liked and didn't like as a couple and gave him an idea of what kind of music people we were. (He even found and played some of our weird - less popular song requests to our surprised and glowing faces!) He was prompt in every way from answering questions, to last minute changes, to talking about what worked and didn't work, and invoicing. Worth every penny and more because really he was the life and soul of the wedding. He kept us on track all night (even after our late start - eek!) and was extremely friendly. He fit in like an old friend and we couldn't have been happier! Seriously! Best DJ ever!

The best DJ in WNY!

From the initial phone call to the last song played at the wedding, DJ Mike Setlock was an absolute all-star. Mike was extremely professional to work with. He was extremely organized by scheduling a phone call quickly after reaching out to him for hire, walking us through the online portal and how to use it and also having a final call a couple weeks before the big day ensuring he knew the flow of the night and everyone’s names. Mike got the party started by pumping up the bridal party in the hallway before our big entrance. His energy and charisma got my family excited and it lead to an all-night party with my guests never leaving the dance floor. You do not need to look anywhere else for a DJ. Mike Setlock is the only one you should pick! Thank you Mike for making our wedding day a memory we’ll never forget!

Perfection!

Mike was amazing, from our first conversation to the night of. He has an awesome online system that allows you to request music for your wedding and essentially make a playlist, as well as mark songs you absolutely do not want played. Mike is a very friendly, upbeat guy, so his presence at a wedding reception is exactly what is needed to get people up and dancing!! From the first song to the last, everyone at our wedding had a blast. He also made intermittent announcements as requested about the pizza that was delivered, the photo booth, and our donation made in lieu of a favor. He pronounced all bridal party names correctly, and took requests from guests. Can't forget the gorgeous purple uplighting he provided.... looked purely magical in the Statler Terrace Room. I believe our wedding was so great because of how FANTASTIC Mike is!

Perfection

If there was one thing I wanted for my wedding, it was for the dance floor to be packed all night and DJ Mike did not disappoint! Everyone was dancing (ALL night long) and the uplighting really highlighted the dance floor (and made for some incredible photos captured by our photographer)! It’s been about 3 weeks since our wedding and people keep telling me what a blast they had!

Mike was beyond easy to work with, very responsive, and really captured the kind of music we wanted and did not want played. I wouldn’t change a thing if I could go back and do it again. He even sent us our wedding playlist after the event, which me loved!

Overall, would highly recommend! Thanks Mike :)

Signature Entertainment is amazing! My guests loved the music Mike played so much that a lot of them stayed until the very end because they just wanted to listen to his playlist. Mike is truly the best DJ around! He was super professional and relatable during every phone call and email leading up to the wedding and he did a fantastic job of keeping with our wedding timeline on our big day. Our dance floor was packed and everyone had an amazing time.

His website is super fun and easy to use, it made it so easy to pick songs for our wedding and the site even gave us ideas that we had not thought of ourselves. He truly thinks of everything!

Must Have DJ!

DJ MIKE WAS AMAZING! I had the BEST night and was probably on the dance floor 90% of my reception. Everyone loved the uplighting and he was even mixing music (the groom loved that!) throughout the night! As other reviewers have stated, he does awesome at keeping you on track and running everything by you. He has an awesome website where you can select music you want to be played throughout the night and also any no no's you don't want to hear. Everyone at the wedding danced all night long and it was all because of DJ Mike!

An amazing DJ!!!

Mike did both our ceremony and reception music and I can't recommend him highly enough! He made the planning process so simple and straightforward and his online system let us select our music and make payments (which was huge since we planned our wedding from another state). The day of he made everything run so seamlessly. He did a great job with the ceremony set up and it sounded perfect. Mike was simply fantastic. From the initial consultation to the final song, the experience was exactly what we were looking for. Mike really puts his heart into his craft, and went above and beyond to make sure our wedding was incredibly fun and memorable. We planned and coordinated our outdoor wedding from afar and without a dedicated planner, so naturally it had some rough edges when it came to logistics. Mike smoothed those edges skillfully on the fly and completely tied the entire affair together with absolutely superb communication and MC talent. Each stage of the event - the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, dancing, and even the pinata break - was top notch. We could not have pulled off the event without his professionalism and equanimity at all stages of the process. He is great to work with and absolutely deserves all the praise he gets. I am extremely thankful for the obvious care and effort he put into our wedding. All our guests had an amazing time. Worth every penny.

My wedding took place on 9/1/18. This guy... Is incredible. He was excited, encouraging, energetic and so very responsive to everything. Everything you need in a DJ. The sound at the ceremony was perfect - something I feel like a lot of weddings struggle having. And the reception... No words. He kept everyone on the dance floor of all ages all night long. We hired Mike for our recent wedding based on recommendations from friends, and after meeting with him we immediately decided he was right for us. And wow are we glad we did! With Mike you don't just get a DJ, you get a guide service for your wedding. He's been doing this for so long he can answer any questions you have and really help you move through your day. Our inexperience led us to lean on him for so many things when it came to planning and scheduling. He has a plethora of suggestions for just about any scenario you can imagine, and honestly I don't know how we would have gotten through the preparations let alone the big day without his help. The website he has for you to build your playlists of must play songs, do not play songs, etc was super easy to use and made things really easy. He was professional, communicative, very responsive, and an absolute pleasure to work with. On our wedding day he was just as awesome, and did a fantastic job with everything, including and especially keeping the dance floor packed all night with great music! He's really great and feeling out the crowd and picking a song list that everyone can't help but dance to! The DJ is one of if not the most important people at your wedding, and we are so thankful we met Mike and he was the one we chose. We had so many compliments on how the dance floor constantly had people moving all night it was great! And get the uplighting it's incredible!

Mike did a great job as DJ for our wedding celebration. Leading up to the event, Mike was highly involved and easy to communicate with. The website used to request songs and build the event timeline is extremely helpful. Mike asked all the right questions to be sure he captured the right vibe we were going for. Mike did an amazing job! we originally had a big wedding planned and then my wife got pregnant and we cancelled it. He was very accommodating when we told him we would be doing a reception sometime down the road. He held the deposit and adjusted to what we needed when we decided to have our party. With it just being a reception we decided on no wedding planner and that worked great because Mike kept the party rolling and on time perfectly! The music was great, he did everything we asked of him, and his online service is unlike any others. He was prepared and ready to go right away when guest started to arrive! I would recommend him for any event!

DJ Mike was amazing! He had 2 phone conferences with us prior to the wedding to get an idea of what we wanted, and was totally flexible playing special songs for us and our parents. Mike went above and beyond for our special day. With the amount of planning I had done in preparation for our wedding, I didn't have to think about a THING at the reception. Mike coordinated with the Caterer, Bartenders, Photographers and anyone else that had a hand in the wedding. He streamlined everything and the party went off without a hitch. I highly recommend the uplighting as it transformed the reception into a classy yet fun atmosphere. His own personal music choices were spot on and kept everyone on the dance floor all night long!

Mike Setlock did an amazing job at my wedding 3 weeks ago. The dance floor was packed all night, and my guests are still talking about how much fun they had! Mike was great to work with. His online system for creating the "must play" and "do not play" lists were very easy to use. He went through all the details with us in advance to ensure the night would go the way we wanted, and he checked in with us throughout the night to make sure we were happy with the music. You can't go wrong using Signature Entertainment for your wedding!

I could not say enough good things about Mike Stetlock!. Not only did he do my wedding but he also did both of my brothers weddings. I was in awe walking into Park Country Club & seeing how beautifully it was decorated and Mike's up lighting accented the room perfectly. It looked magical!. Prior to my wedding he went over what we wanted as far as songs and has an online system that makes it very easy to put a play list together. He is a true professional. The night was flawless and my guests raved about how much fun they had dancing all night right up until the last song!. Thank you Mike for helping make our wedding (the third and final family wedding) perfect!. :)

If you are looking for THE best DJ, look no further!! Signature Entertainment will NOT disappoint. Our wedding wouldn’t have been half as fun as it was without Mike!!! He is very professional, easy going and enthusiastic to work with. He kept us on track assuring that our big day would flow seamlessly...and everything was AWESOME!!!! I loved walking in to the beautiful uplighting he set up...it added just the right ambiance - simply beautiful! Mike did a great job with my wedding in Ellicottville, New York. It is crazy that one guy did the work of what seemed like 10 guys. Everyone was out on the dance floor all night and our up lighting was beautiful. Definitely would recommend him to anyone looking for an awesome DJ/Entertainer.

Mike Setlock is the BEST in the business!!! Not only was he always available for questions that we had, but he found 2 songs that he didn't have that I was looking for and ensured that he obtained them so that we would have the most perfect songs for our ceremony that I have always wanted! Throughout the evening, he kept checking in with my husband and I to ensure that everything was perfect and to let us know what was next. Mike was very organized and professional. The music was great and the dance floor was packed! I am a huge music fan with very specific favorites that didn't translate to the dance floor but Mike worked with me to get all my favorites incorporated during dinner and dessert.

He listened to everything I said during our conversations and helped to make my reception perfect! My guests were actually mentioning how they really liked him and could tell he loved what he does! Others commended him on the skillful mixing from one song to the next. All I know is that he kept me on the dance floor all night!

I would highly recommend Mike for any event that requires a DJ.

Mike was one of the best choices we made for our wedding. From the very beginning of our interactions, Mike was professional, organized, and attentive to our wishes for our big day. Unlike other vendors we reached out to, Mike got back to us immediately and scheduled a call to start planning. The process was excellent, the day of execution was fantastic and really made our guests enjoy our reception. I can't recommend Mike enough. When you are planning your wedding and someone like Mike helps you organize and think through some decisions that you may not have thought of it really is a huge benefit. I really feel like Mike got to know me and my wife beforehand and was a great MC for the event. We can't express how happy we were that we chose Mike to be our DJ at our wedding. His easy going but very enthusiastic personality made the experience so easy & fun. He had great suggestions and ideas that kept the dance floor full all night! I am still hearing from friends, family, and co-workers that they have never danced so much at a wedding before!
He worked so well with the other vendors and put me at complete ease when it came to the entrance into our reception. Our photographers, as well as friends & family got some amazing pictures with the uplighting... what a great addition!!! Thanks Again Mike!

We had Mike Setlock DJ at our wedding, and he was fantastic! We were married at the reception venue, so Mike provided the music for the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and reception. He was able to get all the songs we wanted for the ceremony and accommodated all of our requests. And most importantly, he kept everyone dancing all night! We had older and younger guests, and Mike played a good mix that had everyone on the dance floor the whole night. He also had uplighting that changed colors with the music and brought everything together. Our guests are still commenting on how great the music was. Mike was professional and responsive, and he spoke with us before the wedding about everything he needed to know and made us feel very comfortable. He also pronounced some very difficult last names perfectly! We highly recommend him and would use him again in the future.

Mike was fantastic throughout this whole process, and did an AMAZING job the day of our wedding. He took the time before the day to meet with me and discuss our tastes and song choices, how the night would progress, and offered a lot of very useful advice and suggestions. I love the online DJ profile he offers - for someone as type-A as myself, it made it so easy to see everything in one place - billing, song lists, important information to announce, the day-of timeline, etc. He was extremely accommodating with my several last minute requests as well, one of which included being backup ceremony music in the chance that our string quartet was unable to perform outside. I received so many compliments on the music from my guests - he could read the crowd extremely well. He also checked in with me several times during the night to make sure everything was to our liking. Music is one of the most important aspects of a memorable wedding, and I am so glad I had someone like Mike to rely on!!

Great music is what makes a wedding!! We had people on the dance floor all night and we even extended it for a half hour because no one wanted to leave the dance floor. Mike was a great choice for our wedding DJ! The online service that they use to get you ready for the BIG day is so helpful and was very easy to use. The phone call before the wedding with Mike going over all your details was a huge help. I felt like I could relax regarding music and the introductions, he had it under control. Wow! Mike was an amazing DJ at our Wedding!!! He took the time to not only build an awesome playlist and stick to our music wants. His communication skills were just what we needed. He worked well with the photographer and caterer and made sure the night ran smoothly. I loved that he made sure my husband and I were happy with how the night was going and had everything we needed (even making sure we had drinks!). We had an exceptional experience with Mike! From the first consultation to the big day itself, he went out of his way to make sure our DJ experience was exactly what we wanted. The dance floor was crowded and energized all night, and we were able to add an extra half hour of music at the end of the night with no problem at all. Though Mike was slightly more expensive than other DJs we considered, this was definitely money well spent!

My advice is to do it....we had Mike Setlock and he was the greatest asset we had on our special day. He and I communicated frequently, during weeks leading up to our wedding day, to make sure he and I were on the same page and we were. He was our MC and he was fabulous. Even throughout the evening, he would touch base with me to make sure, that everything that he and I had discussed was bang on.....yes...he was amazing. Kudos, Mike...oh and the "uplighting" was incredible!! An special accent to enhance our decorations and to the perimeter of our banquet room at Salvatore's Italian Garden.

Mike was great. He kept the party going for our ENTIRE reception. We booked Mike for a 6 hour set and it's worth every penny. He added in the best uplighting you could ask for. He was a pro and knew exactly the type of music we would like. He has an online system that makes it easy to put in "must plays" and "do not plays". You have two calls with Mike to make you feel comfortable and he runs your entire party!

If you are looking for the best wedding DJ in Buffalo use Mike with Signature. He is worth every penny!

I highly recommend that you book Signature Entertainment for your wedding. Mike and his team are top notch when it comes to the entire process of hiring a wedding DJ—from the initial consultation call to walking you through their online planning system to payment to the final consultation call to making sure your reception is everything you want it to be. It's clear that Mike deeply cares about the couples he works with and has a real passion for his profession. And trust me, he keeps your dance floor electric all night. This is one of the best DJs in Buffalo! A great guy to deal with too, Mike Setlock! They have a wedding planner form online which is set up once you book. You can, on your own time, go in and put in songs you want to hear, the 'do not play list' and personalize the day just the way you want! Was very easy to use and set up and made our soundtrack for the night amazing!

Mike was excellent and had everything ready for our day. Everything is online including the time line of the day, the people being announced, the music requests, and even payment. We had two phone consultations, one to set up our Web page and the second to finalize everything. Whenever we had a question we asked through email and his response was always within a couple hours. I would highly recommend Mike and signature entertainment! From the planning process in which he went through our musical preferences and pronunciation of the names of all of our bridal party to his professionalism the day of the wedding, Mike was an awesome DJ to work with all the way through. He got the crowd into dancing all night with his positivity and great energy and was sure to check in with myself and my husband throughout the night to make sure we were happy with how things were going. He even let me know when my favorite songs were coming up so I would be sure to be on the dance floor at those times. Besides our specific requests, Mike played a great variety of new music and older songs to appeal to all of our guests. We continue to get compliments on how great the music selection was!
