I can’t say enough good things about my wedding experience at Secrets Tulum. From start to finish, it was absolutely beautiful, and honestly, I’m still in awe of how everything turned out. I was a little anxious leading up to the day because I had a pretty awful experience with my first wedding planner. But then I met Rachael, and she completely turned everything around.
Rachael is truly amazing—she was calm, collected, and so on top of every little detail. She made sure everything was in place and that I was feeling relaxed and confident every step of the way. She even made time to check in with us to ensure we were okay. Her professionalism and warmth made the entire process so much smoother, and honestly, I can’t imagine how we would’ve managed without her. She has an incredible team that really supports her, and I could see how much effort they all put into making our day perfect.
We had a small wedding at the garden at Secrets Tulum, which has always been my dream location. The moment I stepped into the garden, it felt like something straight out of my vision board—absolutely enchanting. To have a wedding in that secret garden, surrounded by lush greenery and the sound of the ocean, was nothing short of magical. It’s exactly what I had always envisioned for my wedding day.
Rachael made sure to make everything personal to us, and she even started with a free consultation, which helped us feel at ease. As someone from Ontario, planning a destination wedding could have been overwhelming, but Rachael made it so simple and stress-free. She was always responsive, offering helpful tips and suggestions, and was there for every question we had, big or small.
I honestly can’t thank Rachael enough for everything she did. She truly saved our special day and made it everything I had hoped for and more. I’ve recommended her to everyone I know who’s planning a wedding, and I’ll keep singing her praises for years to come. If you’re thinking about getting married in Tulum, or really anywhere, Rachael is the one you need by your side. Thank you so much, Rachael! You’ll always hold a special place in my heart for making my dream wedding come true. -

Our epic plans for our oceanfront Belize wedding got derailed quite a bit from the outskirts of a hurricane, but that didn't stop Rachael Roe with @signature_caribbean_weddings! She pulled together the amazing staff of Blu Zen Resort and Lotus Restaurant to turn their "Nirvana Penthouse Condo" into a reception hall for almost 100 guests. It was a tight fit but none of the guests cared. We started the ceremony outside, had to run for cover because of the storm rolling in, and ended up saying our vows in the front desk reception area by the pool surrounded in a circle by almost 100 of our closest friends and family. The rain eventually stopped and we had a great time dancing under tents and lights on the beach!

-The decor from Rachael's team was still STUNNING indoors!
-Our photographer team @joseluiszapataphotography and his wife @perlitazulemazapata were the SWEETEST couple to work with and they even stayed longer than intended because of the storms to help make sure we got plenty of amazing photos after the rain stopped!

They had a 12hour set up scheduled which because of the surprise storms gave them about 45 minutes to pivot and change their plans last minute before we began. They say there's your plan and God's plan. Our family and friends are still talking about how amazing and beautiful everything was and I got to marry my person at the end of the day... so that's what matters most! 💜 Thanks again Rachael and SBW team for helping salvage what could have turned into a disaster of a day. Can't say enough amazing things about you guys!!!

Professional Team
First we tried planning our wedding with a hotel group in Belize, and we quickly realized they were not in it for the details. We found Signature and we were glad we did! From the beginning to the end this team was professional and easy to work with. Rachael and Sabrina answered emails, phone calls and messages quickly. Marianna and Rachael did a great job with the set-up, and took good care of our family. Their vendors are a joy, and we were so happy with everything. -

Truly Spectacular Wedding!!!!
We had our wedding in Belize at KoKo King in May 2019. Rachael and team were incredible!!! I am sorry it’s taken me this long to write this review. Highly recommend Signature Belize for a beautiful beach wedding. They made the entire event perfect the vendors had everything covered from start to finish the food was spectacular people are still raving about It years later!!!! No joke!! She made our dreams come true I was a nervous and stressed our bride and she eased all of my concerns and handled everything so well!!! -

WOW! When we first starting planning our destination elopement during COVID people thought we were nuts, but we just wanted to get married. We knew a big wedding was not responsible but wanted to celebrate our love. So instead, we decided on a destination wedding. Navigating a foreign countries rules can be tricky, which is why we wanted to hire someone to help. Not only did Signature Belize give us the FULL low-down on what was going on, they sent updates along the way of what to expect. Rachael, Luis, Aber and Sabina were beyond amazing, and we couldn't have done it without them. If you are looking to elope right now, they are your people. Start to finish they are easy to work with, friendly, and know their stuff. -

Dream wedding in Belize
If you can dream it, believe that Rachael and her amazing crew will not only make it happen, but will far exceed your expectations! Our wedding was everything I had ever imagined- the softest whitest sand, warm turquoise water, gentle breeze, private and personable. Check, check, check, check and check. All of the thoughtful details with the flowers, the cake, the boat and the fun, wonderful staff that went above and beyond to look after us, made our special day truly magical. Flawless! Signature Weddings Belize was responsive, personable, friendly and informative from the moment I sent the 1st email. I was nervous to plan an elopement out of the country without physically meeting the event coordinator, however quickly learned I had no worries with the response time within minutes to any questions or concerns I had. Upto the day we arrived, not only did Signature provide details on our day, but also information in regards to Belize (Weather, Covid-19, and places to see, etc).
Every detail we asked for was executed beyond our expectations. The entire team made our day amazing and worry free. Also the vendors from photographics, hair and makeup they recommended proved just as exceptional. -

Signature Belize Weddings is awesome! I had a specific table setting in mind for my intimate wedding dinner and the restaurant they originally reserved was charging an outrageous price. Rachael and her team were kind enough to do the table setting themselves for way less - and it was absolutely gorgeous! The entire SBW team was attentive, professional and available for any questions or concerns I had. I can't thank them enough for helping to plan my best day ever! You guys are the best :) -

Very personal and private!
Luis worked with us to help set up everything. They showed up at our hotel and we had a wonderful boat to our location on a private beach. We had a very intimate ceremony with lanterns and flower petals. Luis and his team created the perfect wedding for us. We could not ask for a better more energetic wedding planner, who seem to really cared about our little family and what we wanted. If you are getting married in Belize this is who you need to be involved with. -

Luis & Abner were ABSOLUTELY amazing! Everything I thought of for our wedding was completely brought to life! Luis was so great with me getting wedding song changes to him up until 8 PM the day before our wedding. Never once complained! Abner did such a BEAUTIFUL job on our flowers. Even helped save me when I left my bouquet at the ceremony location, and had to make something for the toss! Hands down the best experience ever! Our friends are STILL talking about how much fun, and how beautiful everything was. I can not thank you all enough! -

Rachel and the rest of the team at Signature Belize made our wedding the most incredible experience of our lives. We didn't have to worry about anything! Her knowledge was invaluable as we planned our wedding from afar. We never felt the stress that comes with planning a wedding. I would recommend them in a heartbeat without any reservations.

My husband and I were recently married at the Belize Ocean Club in Placencia, Belize. We hosted a wedding weekend from March 14-17, 2019 for 30 of our closest friends and family. Rachael Roe and Signature Belize made the wedding of dreams a reality and this was no easy feat.
My husband and I got engaged in March of 2017. I’m from New York and he’s from California so we decided a destination wedding was the perfect opportunity to take our family friends on an amazing adventure. We decided on Belize and the BOC in the fall of 2017 and began our wedding planning process. Ultimately, this became a nightmare of epic proportion. Over the course of the next year and half working with Muy Ono, we went through 2 wedding planners and found out 4 months before our wedding (without a head’s up) the resort was under new management. The new management team was in transition and we were told a new planner wouldn’t be hired and trained in time to execute our wedding successfully. It would be impossible to catch up on more than a year of planning via emails and phone calls in such short time. Rachael heard our plight and said, “challenge accepted.”
We began working with Rachael in early December of 2018. I sent photos and old emails describing my vision. I also conveyed my skepticism and frustration in the past with Belizean wedding planners and the quality of goods and services available for the upscale wedding I wanted. She was confident, honest, and assured me that everything I wanted was possible and got to work immediately. Within 48 hours of sending her old emails and photos of my vision, she sent me a vision board, estimate, and contract. She immediately took on the role of negotiating my food and beverage contracts with the new management company while protecting the contents of the old ones. She was able to obtain better prices for our meals, get discounted rates for our domestic flights, contract with local vendors for decorations, our cake, and live musical performances by local artists. She was an invaluable resource being a local of Belize for many years but having been originally from the U.S.
Rachael and her team really shined during the execution phase of my wedding. She stayed at my resort to ensure she was present to oversee all facets of every event. She sat in on BOC staff meetings and regularly met with the General Manager to ensure we were all on the same page. The day of my welcome party she came by my room and welcomed me with a huge hug. It was wonderful to finally meet her in person. At my welcome party she made sure the resort staff were professional and friendly. She made sure a drink was in every hand and a smile on every face, as well ensuring people knew the next day’s events and schedule. While everyone enjoyed the party, she and her team delivered the custom welcome bags she had made, per my request, for all of my guests, to their rooms, each guest returning to a pleasant surprise that everyone loved. She did an amazing job of being everywhere when needed and yet invisible at the same time.
On Friday, Rachael executed my wedding rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. Although I had meticulously outlined every detail of my welcome party, ceremony, and reception, I had given Rachael and her team full creative control of the Rehearsal Dinner as I wanted to see what she could do. It was beyond words visually. It was held on the beach and the presentation confirmed that she had understood my taste and style perfectly and was able to incorporate them seamlessly with a style of her own. Luis was ever the gentleman when the wind picked up and knocked over a centerpiece during our dinner. My sister’s dress had red wine spilled on it and he offered to have it dry cleaned at no cost to her for her trouble. The level of service and professionalism was what every bride hopes for themselves and their guests.
On Saturday, our wedding day, Rachael had her team build our custom-made altar in the morning. She delivered our flowers to our room and they looked better than you could imagine. She was talented enough to take pictures of flowers and come back to me with names, colors, and availability by season to determine what worked with my wedding colors perfectly. She came the room often to check in on us while preparing and when called due to a bobby pin shortage, had them in my hands in less than 10 minutes. She orchestrated a bridal party of 11, family, and friends ensuring everyone was seated, hit their cues and walked on time. After the reception, I returned to my room to find she had sent the top of my cake there, my bridal bouquet, as well as one of centerpieces. She also left a very sweet note, champagne, and gift bags for us. It was very thoughtful and much appreciated. By the next morning, everyone was paid, DJ, drummers, dancers, baker, etc. Everything from the day before altar, lights, etc. was gone, cleared immediately, as her team had worked their magic and gone.
Planning a wedding is stressful and mine was exceptionally so, but Rachael was amazing and took what could’ve been a disaster and executed a wedding for the ages. I recommend her to anyone planning a Belizean wedding. You will not be disappointed. She and her team go above and beyond, challenging themselves, and raising the bar for the quality of service they provide. She had her floral arranger take a course in Mexico just to do my centerpieces. There is nothing she can’t do and she is willing to learn something new if it isn’t in her repertoire. I can’t wait to work with her again maybe for my 40th birthday or when I renew my vows. It was a perfect wedding weekend.
Tips: Know Rachael only accepts payment via credit card, so plan accordingly. She also takes a small deposit to secure her services (can be paid via PayPal) and usually accepts the remaining balance about 7 days before services provided. She is very flexible. The best way to communicate with her is via email and WhatsApp and she is generally very responsive.

Debbie & I didn't actually decide we wanted to get married while vacationing in Caye Caulker until 6 weeks before our trip. We didn't know how or where to begin. An internet search led us to Signature Belize. A few emails later, we were planning our elopement ceremony on a sandbar in the middle of the Caribbean Sea with Rachael and Luis. These folks are awesome! They took care of every single detail and were fun, professional, responsive and right on schedule every step of the way (including the paperwork). The whole thing was shockingly easy and stress free. They gave us an experience (and a story) that was beyond our wildest expectations. Thanks Signature Belize, you guys ROCK! -

Gabriella Sent on 08/01/2018I don't know why I've waited so long to write this review. There are not enough amazing things to say about Rachel and her team. I thought planning a wedding in Belize from NYC would be difficult and hectic, but Rachel and her team took on EVERYTHING! I got to do the fun stuff (dress shopping and buying random etsy things) while the Signature Belize team did all the work. The entire team at Signature Belize is friendly, easy to talk to, and most of all responsive! Throughout a two year planning process I definitely changed my mind or added/removed things and this team had every single detail noted. Once I got to Belize they continued to take care of me, my fiance, and our families for 4 days! We hired Signature Belize for our Welcome BBQ, Wedding Day, and our Day After Brunch. Of course I focused all my time and attention on the wedding day, but the BBQ and Brunch were just as beautiful and unique! Each event was better than the last. Bringing over 60 people from the East Coast to Belize is no easy task and yet my family can't stop raving about it months after. Chef Sean and his team deserve their own amazing review. The food was UNBELIEVABLE! Again, every meal was better than the last. I'm truly upset I didn't pay our photographer to shoot the day after brunch because the spread was unlike anything else I've ever seen. We had a few picky eaters and a vegan in the group, but everyone was thrilled about the food. I would say it was the best part of the wedding but the decor was amazing too! I truly can't say enough about this group. If you're planning a wedding in Belize you MUST use them! Just sit back, relax, and let the Signature Belize team plan the greatest party of a lifetime.

Nick Sent on 07/30/2018We could not be happier with the service provided by Signature Belize. We had a very small wedding but wanted to tie the knot on top of the ruins of Caracol. This was a stunning location that was recommended by the staff of Signature Belize. Everything went smoothly start to finish and had a great time visiting with Luis, our Day of Coordinator. Everyone with this company was so friendly and went out of their way to execute even some special requests we had. The officiant that was provided by S.B. was incredible. We couldn't have asked for a better ceremony. And we absolutely loved Hue, our driver to the ruins. He had us laughing and did a great job educating us on the sights we would come across on the trip out, our own personal tour guide (free of charge (-: ). Start to finish this day was amazing and we couldn't have asked for more....and even though there was no broccoli... ;-)...they get a 5 star rating all across the board....we would give more stars if we could.

My husband and I legitimately would not have changed a single piece of that day or any of the memories. Belize was truly the most magical country we have ever been to; we know we will be back soon! Planning a wedding site unseen is stressful in it's own regards, especially when we hadn't ever visited Belize before! It will be the best decision you make to have your wedding in Belize with the Signature team.
Rachael and her staff were amazing, the day went off without a hitch, and we still have smiles ear to ear as a result. We really cannot thank them enough. It has been a couple of weeks since our big day and we are continuously receiving messages about "the most beautiful" and "most fun" wedding they have ever been to. From the bouquets, to the DJ, to the makeup team, to the absolutely delicious cake it was absolute perfection. Again, we would not have changed a thing about the day in its entirety. Julia Sent on 05/17/2018Let me start by saying that I spent 3 years as a wedding planner at a private golf club and 1 year as an event coordinator at the Crowne Plaza in Atlanta Georgia. I have high standards and I know the wedding/event business well. That said. Signature Belize is top notch. They are responsive, knowledgeable and friendly. They read every detail of my (super lengthy) emails and respond accordingly. They worked with our budget, gave me plenty of options without being overwhelming and never pressured me into anything. Belize was a destination wedding for us and 20 guests. We were nervous about working with vendors in a foreign country but Signature Belize made everything SO EASY. Hiring them was easily the best decision we could have made. The vendors they recommend are INCREDIBLE. Everything they put together was professional and beautiful. On the wedding day, they did EXACTLY what they promised, showed up when promised, had all items they promised, then went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make the day beautiful and stress free. Our wedding was outdoors at a Mayan ruin and it rained all day – which almost never happens in sunny Belize. Rachael and Luis stood outside, in the rain, with giant smiles on their faces and super positive attitudes. They held umbrellas for us while getting wet themselves. They were always present, but never in the way. They anticipated our needs and took care of everything. The whole day was amazing, from the hair and makeup artists they arranged (who I follow on Instagram), to the cake (definitely the BEST I have ever tasted). I had fun and didn’t stress about anything, because Rachael had it covered. Their level of service continued after the wedding day. We had a slight issue with the one vendor that I chose against Rachael’s advice (she had never worked with them before and couldn’t vouch for them). She applied pressure to the vendor and got our issue resolved months after our event was over and they had been paid. Great people and great service.

Rebecca Sent on 04/03/2018I chose Signature Belize Weddings because I wanted to remove stress from the equation. I knew we wanted to elope, but I didn’t want to agonize over every little decision, or spend hours researching each vendor/venue myself. I wanted an amazing adventure with breath-taking photos, and I wanted to enjoy the day without worrying about the details.
Rachel and her team gave us exactly what we were looking for. For me, the planning process required very little effort and time. I never would have dreamed that we could get married at such an amazing location if I hadn't seen the photos on the Signature website. I was so happy with the end-to-end experience of our elopement! The resort they recommended, Hidden Valley Inn, felt like paradise (and so did the honeymoon island resort they recommended). The hair and make-up artist they booked could not have done a better job reflecting my personal style and preferences. The planner who spent the day with us, Luis, made sure everything went smoothly and allowed us to focus on enjoying the day. Luis and our driver were delightful to be around, and made the long journey to the ruins and back even more fun! Our photographer, Efrain, and his assistant did a great job of staying out of the way and capturing candid photos as well as stepping in when appropriate to coach us for some really amazing shots. We were able to just relax and let the day happen to us, because everything was so well planned and coordinated.
There were a couple of minor items that didn’t turn out quite how I had expected, but there were SO MANY details that I never would have thought to plan for that were considered and perfectly executed by this team. I was blown away by how perfect it was, and I wouldn’t change a thing!
If you’re looking for a unique adventure and an experience that feels very personal, I highly recommend Signature Belize Weddings. I really appreciate the care and attention they put into making our special day so perfect! -

Brianne Sent on 01/23/2018Rachael and her team are INCREDIBLE. They were super friendly, responsive, communicative, and honest through every step of the wedding planning process. Before the wedding, Rachael and Tanya replied to every email, answered every question thoroughly, and were enthusiastically open to all of my eclectic ideas. When it came to the day of the wedding, Rachael and the crew were on-time, extremely organized, flexible, and excited to be there. The set-up and decor was so much more than I had imagined, and our guests were blown away by the detail. Rachael was very kind and supportive when I was stressing out the hour before the ceremony, and she was able to corral the wildcards in our wedding party/at the venue without us being aware that there were any issues-- she is a rock star! Luis, Rachael's assistant, was also hustling non-stop to make sure everything went well with set-up, the bar, dinner, etc. He made sure that we were tended to and having a great time. Not being able to meet the vendors and seeing everything before the event was hard for me but after talking with Rachel I knew she had our backs.
The wedding day was exceptional. Perfectly executed. The layout was beautiful. Everything I invisioned became a reality.
The Signature Belize team where like wedding ninjas. They are what I like to call The makers and the shakers. Silently setting up behind the scenes to make the whole day go flawlessly. I never had to lift a finger or think twice about anything. Rachel was always one step ahead.

On Wedding day, she and her assistant Louis made sure I didn't have to worry about a thing but getting ready. They went to bat for me to make sure I would get enough time to take photos, and thought of all the small details for the reception such as changing the light bulbs for softer lighting. User3027940 Sent on 04/10/2017We just got back from our wedding in Belize, and all we can say is it exceeded our expectations. The team really knew their stuff, and had the best group of vendors! The planning of our wedding was really easy, but I would caution that Belize is not like the United States. The options were more limited, but Rachael and her team did a great job of making sure we got everything we wanted/needed. Communication was fast, and their local phone number made chatting easy (and free for me!). The day of the wedding the team was so professional, and made sure me and my bridesmaids were well taken care of. Her other planners, Carmen and Tanya, were fantastic and sweet. If you want an organized, professional, and easy experience hire their team.
