The girls are all amazing. Sierra did my make up/ hair for my engagement photos and both stayed in 110 degree weather outside. Got my make up done by Sierra and Hannah for my bridal shower and received so many compliments. Hannah also did my tan a couple days before my wedding and she made me feel so comfortable. On my wedding day Sierra and Kylie did my and my girls make up/ hair. All our hair / make up came out AMAZING!! Everyone’s hair and make up stayed all day and came out amazing on our photos/ video. The girls at Sierra Jane Studios are so professional and so nice. Would recommend them 10/10. -

Sierra and her team were honestly amazing and made the wedding process so easy. The wedding day make-up literally lasted 3 jumps in the lake after wearing it for 12 hours!! Hannah C, Jewelee, and Ashley did my bridesmaids and family's makeup/hair so beautifully everyone felt their most gorgeous. I couldn't recommend Sierra and her team more!! -

Professional & Fun
I was worried about hiring a makeup artist for my wedding because of all of the horror stories out there. However both of the ladies I worked with were lovely. They had a very welcoming & professional environment. My hair and makeup came out exactly as I pictured with their guidance and advice. I would 100% recommend them. -

Sierra and Hannah are nothing short of AMAZING! I have never felt more beautiful in my life. I hired them to do my makeup for my sunrise wedding in Yosemite and ended up getting the Monroe Flow package which is an insanely good deal. It included a trial, which was flawless and made me feel really confident for the day of (I even used the trial to do a pre-wedding photoshoot because it was so good and lasted all day!!). During the trial, Sierra gave me some skin tips to make sure my makeup sat well on my skin for the wedding day, and her tips made SUCH a difference.
On the morning of the wedding, Sierra and Hannah came to my Airbnb at 3am to get me ready in time for sunrise, and they nailed it, even finishing a bit early. I was so happy with the result and I got a ton of compliments from my guests about my hair and makeup. I'm really impressed by Sierra and Hannah and would highly recommend them. I did a lot of research on hair & makeup vendors for Yosemite area and I think Sierra Jane Studios is easily one of the best, both in terms of skill and value. -

Sierra and Hannah did an absolutely AMAZING job with hair & makeup for myself and my sisters/friends for my wedding! They were very responsive to input about what each of us wanted and we were all sooo happy with the end results. They were incredibly professional while also being relaxed and fun to hang out with – exactly who you want around you on your wedding day! Their pricing was also super reasonable. So glad I made the decision to book them, thank you guys so much!! -

Sierra, Hannah, and Kylie did an absolutely amazing job on the hair and makeup for my wedding!! They were communicative and responsive through the whole process. I had a couple changes and they were very understanding and did everything they could to make it work. I loved that they had bundle and a la carte options. The pricing was reasonable and the bundle included a trial. They took the time to fully understand my vision and how I wanted to look on my wedding day. My venue was fairytale-esque and these ladies made me feel like a princess!! -

Hiring Sierra and Hannah to provide my pre wedding and wedding day beauty needs was one of the best decisions I made. I met with these lovely ladies before my wedding when they styled my hair and make-up.They took great care and consideration to perfect my look and make any adjustments I wanted. On my wedding day, I was in awe, truly so grateful for how beautiful I looked and felt that I shed tears of joy! Sierra sweetly fixed my make up and even left make up for any possible touch ups throughout the night. My Mother and bridesmaids had their hair styled and were equally ecstatic with the beautiful results. My make up actually lasted the whole night and my hair still looked great the next day.
I also had a facial, spray tan and lashes/brows tinted which still looked amazing for the honeymoon! I highly recommend Sierra Jane Studios for contributing greatly to wedding bliss!!

Amazing!
These girls are absolutely amazing!! They are so much fun to be around on your big day!! They don’t push anything on you or try to make you buy anything your are not comfortable with. I was supposed to get a spray tan but i freaked out and decided not to and they didn’t give me any hassle for it 🥰 -

Love these beautiful ladies!
Both Sierra and Hannah helped turn me into a gorgeous glamazon bride! They were so much fun to work with and allowed me to still be me. They perfectly captured the look I was going for. I felt so glamorous both for my trial and day of makeover. I felt so beautiful all day. My bridesmaids and mothers all looked amazing as well. We had a very large wedding party and the 2 of them got through everyone like champs. I definitely would hire them again for any special occasion. So talented, and very easy to work with. Best decision of all my hired vendors! -

Perfect for that Old Hollywood Glam
I struggled to find a H&M artist who could give me the Old Hollywood Glamour look I dreamed of having for my wedding. Thankfully, I found Sierra. She captured it perfectly and when it came to the day of, I am so happy I booked the Monroe Flow. We had 9 ladies getting hair and makeup done so it was wonderful having both Sierra and Hannah there as well as having them around for touch ups after the ceremony. My girls looked beautiful and my grandma looked like a million bucks. If you want to feel like a starlette on your wedding day, hire these lovely ladies. -

These girls work magic! I had them do my wedding day H&M plus whichever of my bridesmaids wanted professional H&M done. I also booked the 3hr touch up service because I had a transitional look. Hair up for ceremony and first look and hair down for reception pictures. I HIGHLY recommend the touch up service even if you aren’t doing a transitional look because they will fix your hair and makeup! Makeup gets lots of smudges because of all the kisses 🤭🥰 These girls helped ma make my dream come true! They helped make me feel like a princess that day!! -

I was so so excited to find Sierra. Not only is she amazing at what she does, but she will not stop until you look just as you envisioned. I think we changed my lipstick like 3 times (sorry Sierra!) and she was never rude or like “why can’t this bride just pick something”, because she wants to make sure you feel comfortable and beautiful. She stayed through my ceremony to do any last minute touch ups, and was just honestly amazing the entire day. Do not hesitate to schedule a trial (and then book!) with her. She is wonderful. -

I chose Sierra to do my wedding hair and makeup. She was very quick to get in touch and get me booked for a trial date. She arrived on time for my trial and was very friendly and professional. On the date of my wedding I went to her studio and she was able to get my hair and makeup, along with my bridesmaids all finished with time to spare. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for bridal services. Not only is she very professional and punctual, but also very affordable. -

Sierra was amazing throughout the entire beautification process, starting with the video consultation and ending with finishing touches.
I didn’t have bridesmaids, but Sierra really did feel like a friend while she was applying my makeup and listening to music!
Her willingness to listen to my preferences ensured that I was left with a result that made me feel comfortable, like myself, and confident.
10/10 would recommend.

Hair, make-up (seamstress at one point!) Sierra is hands down, a Rockstar who will support you throughout the craziness of the big day! She saved me when my tan came off, along with the sleeves to my wedding dress. She fixed me right up no hesitation, in minutes (no one had a clue). She made me feel like Rapunzel with my beautifully decorated braid! Also, she is now my designated hair stylist for LIFE!

So I found Sierra through wedding wire about a month before my wedding. I actually found her at one of the very last posts on the list. After scrolling through her page I had a good feeling about her. I then contacted her through Facebook and got a response back very quickly. After a little bit of chatting we arranged a time to meet up. Let me tell you my schedule was not the easiest to work around. I started a new job and I was still working my other job part time so it had to be in the evening and Sierra was so accommodating and flexible with finding a time that worked for both of us. We spent a while connecting in Starbucks. I automatically knew upon meeting her knew I found my hair and makeup artist for the rest of my life. When we did my trial it was seriously a blast. I am not one to like being fawned over but I knew I was in good hands and I was very comfortable. After the appointment I was so happy with how everything came out that I felt like a whole different person and I was so smitten with the experience. Fast forward to my wedding day, Sierra came to my hotel room bright and early to get started. We set my curls then started on my 5 girl's hair and makeup. She was so creative with her looks and how it would play out. But let me tell you, this girl did not stop or take a break or sit down for 8 hours before the ceremony. My girls and myself looked the best we could have ever looked. Then to top it off she stayed with me touching me up the rest of the night. She really was my right hand person all day keeping me calm and making sure I had everything I needed including running up to my room to get things that we forgot. SO in the end, if you are looking for a friend, an amazing artist, and such an beautiful soul to bless your life then DO NOT hesitate to contact her. I promise you will love her as much as I do. And you will look AMAZING!!

Erika Sent on 10/24/2022Did not meet my expectations for Bridal and Mother of the Bride makeup, disappointing
I read great reviews from here about SJ makeup studios so I booked about 6 months in advance for my wedding makeup. Sierra was so nice & professional from the start. I did a makeup trial with my Mom a few weeks before the wedding on 9/17/22. At first we were okay with the looks and told Sierra a few changes we would make for the wedding day as these looks didn’t look flattering on us and didn’t last all day! I was disappointed to get the news that we would have to be finished with makeup by 9:45am because they were basically overbooked and short a makeup artist and had another event at 10am. My wedding wasn’t until 1pm! I didn’t want to start the makeup service earlier than we planned because I feared it would not last all day. Sierra and 2 makeup assistants arrived well on Time that morning which was nice. My makeup look was pretty but not what I expected for bridal makeup. Not enough blush color, no glow to the face, eyeliner was too heavy, lashes were too big for my liking. I expressed my concerns & Sierra did her best to make the adjustments she could but also said there was no time to fix it like I wanted. I didn’t think this was fair because I paid for this service and it wasn’t my fault they had to rush to another event. Also, my Mom’s makeup was too flat and aged her. Her face looked too white, not enough bronzer, blush or highlight was used to give her more dimension and color. I mentioned this several times too and the assistants did what they could but still it wasn’t a great look. Just got my wedding photos back from the photographer and am so disappointed in my Mom’s makeup look and so is she. Our looks just fell flat on camera. Especially since we never take family photos like these and will have these the rest of our lives this is a big disappointment! While SJ makeup studios is a friendly service, I feel that the skill level and attention to detail just wasn’t there for beautiful bridal and mother of the bride makeup.
