We got married in Sonoma in August 2025 and had the wedding of our dreams. Melaina truly made our day so special with her kindness, attention to detail, and calm demeanor. Planning with her over many months was fun and easy. Her eye for design is extraordinary! She was open and supportive of all our ideas, which made us feel so confident throughout the wedding planning process. The day was super windy, but she was able to pivot on the fly and make everything work without us even knowing of the hiccups. My husband and I were relaxed and present all thanks to her. She was extremely accessible to not just us, but also our wedding party, guests, and vendors.
At the end of the night, we felt so much gratitude for not only our guests who made it to our destination wine country wedding, but also to Melaina and the rest of the team who made it all happen. We could not recommend Melaina enough, our families adore her! -

Yesenia was wonderful and so attentive from start to finish. I chose the Timeless package, which includes a detailed planning meeting three months before the wedding to go over dreams, concerns, timelines, and all the little details, and that is exactly what she delivered.
I DIYed most of our decor, and my mom had her own creative vision on top of mine. Yesenia and her team executed everything perfectly, combining both ideas seamlessly and bringing our day to life exactly as we imagined. Her calm, professional approach kept everything running smoothly, and I truly felt like I could just relax and enjoy the day.

Picking Melaina Bergin and her fantastic team at Showrunner Events for our wedding on June 27, 2025, at Viansa Winery Sonoma was hands down one of the best decisions we made. We signed on with her 11 months out, right after choosing her, and from that very first day, she became our absolute lifesaver.

Melaina wasn't just a planner; she was our rock throughout the entire process. Even after we'd locked in our vendors, she took the reins on all the communication and nitty-gritty details. It felt like a massive weight was lifted off our shoulders. Her organization skills are seriously out of this world. We were constantly blown away by the crystal-clear timelines, detailed layouts, and comprehensive plans she'd send our way. Every single thing was accounted for, laid out so perfectly that we always knew exactly where we stood. It was clear she wasn't just planning a wedding; she was making sure our day would unfold exactly as we’d dreamed.

Yesenia was simply a joy to work with. She brought so much peace and tranquility to what can be a very stressful process. Her professionalism and experience were evident in everything she did and all of our communications. Working with her allowed me to be present and enjoy the moments because I knew I could trust her to make my vision come to life. At the rehearsal she was so professional despite crazy wind and little kids running around not paying attention - I could be the fun bride because she was in charge!
Day of, she did so much for me, I knew I would arrive and everything as all set up - she handled things seamlessly - moving around decor, gathering people to walk in the processional, ensuring each detail went off as I described it. She even surprised me by thinking on her feet when there was lots of wind, making sure guests got to see the family stories pamphlet I worked so hard on by moving it to the bar, and moving our aisle marker in front of the cake cutting table for a beautiful photo op I hadn't thought of. All these things I had no knowledge or concern for because she had handled it and handled it to a standard that was impeccable. I got to enjoy myself and party!
She is simply amazing and I can't picture having worked with anyone else. Well, well worth the cost - I am a type A girlie who loves to plan but I knew this was too much work for me to pull off and enjoy myself and I am so glad I spent the money and got a professional to help month of coordinate. It allowed me to have fun and still have a beautiful perfect wedding that met all of my expectations! Thank you Yesenia! I am forever indebted to you and your incredible team for the most wonderful wedding of my dreams! -

We honestly don't know where to begin. In short, we'd hire Melaina for every event we ever have and would just be grateful to be able to do so. So absolutely book her now, you won't regret it. She was our LITERAL savior in the months leading up to and during our wedding weekend (she was even attentive and detailed in communication and vendor management *after* the event).
We had a 3-day event with 60 guests, most of whom stayed onsite in a main house or in glamping tents. It could have been an epic disaster with the number of logistics that Melaina had to handle - from organizing mobile bathrooms and coordinating events / rental items across a 700 acre property to troubleshooting faulty power supply, inadequate heating solutions and a lack of information provided by the venue. She nonetheless somehow just *figured it out* - running around putting out fires and polishing the finest details for every part of our weekend. Despite the challenges, she made every part of our weekend feel intentional, planned for, and taken care of. We had 6+ full group meals, 10+ vendors, 10+ activities, and 0 cell service - and Melaina made it all come together anyway.
We had her onsite for a portion of each day, and we would literally breath a sigh of relief whenever we knew she'd arrived for the day. I cannot emphasize enough the level of trust we have in Melaina, how thankful we are that she felt like a friend to us and others from the start, and how in awe of her [seemingly effortless] ability to pull a million tiny to-do's together.
Her team was lovely, Melaina is incredible, and we are just so so thankful for her. Our wedding wouldn't have happened without her, and now we low key want to grab some wine, chat and be her friend -

We can't thank Melaina enough for making our wedding day so incredibly special. During the week of our wedding, all our friends kept commenting on how relaxed and stress-free we seemed, and we truly believe it was all thanks to Melaina and her team!
Based on our initial conversations, we had complete trust in Melaina to help bring our dream wedding to life. Her attention to detail and organizational skills were phenomenal, and she always had fantastic suggestions that enhanced our vision. We’re sure there were countless behind the scenes tasks that Melaina had to handle - the fact that everything went so smoothly is a testament to her hard work and experience. We were able to be fully present and enjoy every moment on our wedding day.
By the end of the night, we found ourselves wishing we could relive the entire day, just to work with everyone again. Melaina and her team were fantastic, and the evening far exceeded our expectations. -

Showrunner Events is amazing and if they are available for your upcoming wine country wedding you should most definitely hire them!
My husband and I had initially hired a different wedding coordinator, but due to some dishonest business practices, we were forced to part ways less than 2 months before the big day. We were left scrambling to find a replacement and luckily Melaina and Yesenia were still available for our August 2021 date! This was such a blessing and in retrospect meant to happen. Showrunner Events was a great fit for our personalities and able to help my husband and I truly create our perfect day and an unforgettable moment in time.
Melaina was our main contact person and although at the time she was newer to the coordination side of things, she had lots of prior catering experience. Melaina is full of energy and during the planning process, she was extremely responsive, diligent, and on top of everything. You can genuinely tell that she wants nothing but the best for her couples. Due to the ever-changing COVID restrictions, the week of our wedding, we were forced to move everything outside. Luckily our venue (Viansa) has lots of outdoor space. Melaina quickly rearranged everything and overnight we were back on track! On the wedding day, Yesenia was there as our second coordinator and helped to make sure the day ran smoothly. Yesenia is super professional and having her present with all her years of experience and expertise gave me a great sense of comfort. I had no doubts that the day would run smoothly.
Before writing this long overdue review, I went to Showrunner's website and I am honored to see that my wedding and wedding photos are currently featured as part of their portfolio! My husband and I are beyond grateful to Showrunner events as they helped to make our wedding day an absolute dream. Thank you Melaina and Yesenia! -

Best decision we made for our wedding!
Working with Melaina was hands-down the best decision we made for our wedding. I can't emphasize how much we enjoyed working with her and how she made our wedding vision become a reality. She's incredibly detail oriented, personable, and had such a great eye with her additional experience with photography and catering. I wish I could give 100 stars!
Vendors: we didn't go for the all-inclusive planning package, but consulted Melaina for her recommendations. All the vendors we selected based on her recommendations were amazing. She understood our budget and what vendors offer good value. She's practical and transparent on what's essential and what we could cut out. She knew our venue well (Cline Family Cellars), and worked seamlessly with all our vendors throughout the process.
Design: I cared a lot about the aesthetic of our wedding (like, waking up in the middle of night thinking about how the cocktail table linens match 'a lot'), and had a pretty specific and eclectic vision of something earthy, colorful, and bohemian. I had a Pinterest board but not single picture that captured exactly what I was looking for. Melaina truly brought this vision to life. From the Pinterest board, she recommended rental items from a giant inventory that suited what I was looking for perfectly. Throughout the planning process I would ask her advice on various things and fully trusted her excellent taste. We've heard from numerous guests and vendors on how beautiful our wedding was.
Day-of: Our married friends all told us that something always goes wrong the day-of, no matter how much you prepare. But honestly, every part of our wedding went seamlessly. I attribute this fully to how on top-of-things Melaina is. She's super organized and detailed-oriented. She also flags risks and did a great job to recommend game-time decisions. For instance, during rehearsal she noticed our ceremony location was a little muddy and worked with us and the venue to adjust, which definitely saved me from having a muddy dress the day-of. During an unseasonably cold year, she kept an eye on the weather and recommended heaters (and had already gotten us a quote + vendor recommendation!) which we're really happy we went with.
I consider myself to be pretty detail-oriented, so it can be hard for me to trust others to do a thorough job that meets my expectations. I fully trusted Melaina, and cannot emphasize enough how happy I am with choosing Showrunner. If I had unlimited money I would plan another wedding just to work with her again. -

Yesenia and Melaina are awesome! Yesenia is super professional - she helped me navigate vendors, using her connections and reputation to find the best matches and deals for me, as I had some non-standard requests. She even negotiate a new (absolutely amazing) caterer to be accepted by the venue, which is very selective on who they let in. Knowledgeable, she helped us understand what our options were, was a sounding board for our plans, and gave us many creative new ideas for the day. Yesenia is thoughtful and flexible where it matters while never letting you get off track - that was extremely important for me as I was juggling a lot of different priorities and appreciated the nudges. Yesenia and Melaina made the day run super smoothly and went above and beyond what I was expecting. Melaina is also a photographer, and she took amazing pictures of our wedding. I could not have done this without them, and I wholeheartedly recommend the showrunner team. -

Best planner in Napa/Sonoma
My wife and I would give Showrunner 10 stars if possible. Yesenia and her team are extremely kind, professional and know what they’re doing. We worked together planning our Sonoma wedding at Cline Cellars for over two years through covid and we are so lucky to have picked the right planner. Yesenia was with us every step of the way with suggestions and guidance to make us feel comfortable and confident in our decisions (which was important as you can imagine during covid). Communication and coordination with vendors felt effortless because she has strong relationships with everyone we worked with and it always felt like she was representing us, her client, looking out for our best interests. Her attention to detail is exceptional. The day could not have gone any better. We’re one of the later weddings in our family/ friend group and so many guests came up to us after the wedding letting us know how helpful Yesenia was and made the wedding feel seamless.
We would 100% recommend Showrunner to anyone planning a wedding. Yesenia is the gold standard. -

Yesenia and Showrunner Events made our wedding perfect! We couldn't have pulled off our special day without her and her team. Yesenia was with us every step of the way leading up to our wedding. I am the sort of person who likes suggestions, design ideas, and someone to bounce ideas off of and I found that some wedding vendors were afraid to do anything other than just OK everything my husband and I would suggest. Yesenia was different. She was able to sense that I wanted more input and made the wedding process more collaborative. Her expertise and design ideas made our wedding extra special. What can I say, Yesenia is just amazing!! She was our wedding day-of coordinator and without her our wedding would not have been the perfect day that it was. It had been raining the whole day up until about 15 minutes before our ceremony and the venue wanted me to have our ceremony inside but I really wanted it outside and Yesenia totally had my back and performed a miracle to keep it outside and arrange everything right after the rain stopped so our ceremony would still be perfect! She made sure every detail throughout the day was exactly what I had wanted and that everything was on schedule. Yesenia is so organized, thoughtful and proactive - she literally thinks of everything before you do and does everything seamlessly! Without her, our wedding would not have been the same. She truly loves what she does and wants to make her clients have the best wedding day! If you want the perfect wedding then you definitely want to work with Yesenia, best decision! Showrunner Events is hands down the best out there!!!
We worked with Yesenia and team this past weekend as my husband and I ties the knot at Silverado Resort in Napa. From day 1 of working with Yesenia when we booked her months ago, to minutes before our wedding ending, she went above and beyond.
We couldn't speak more highly of Yesenia as she was truly a one of a kind vendor. She was so responsive, hands on beyond belief, made sure our day was perfect, flawless, and everything we dreamed of and more. From simple things such as reminded us to get food, a drink, or even getting our drinks refilled while we were taking photos or mingling, to bigger details such as putting out mini fires including bumps in the schedule, or venue mishaps, she without a doubt did it all. Not only did she do it all but she made sure neither me or my husband had to worry or participate in resolving when issues did arise, and somehow seemed to fix them before we even knew they occured.
This review really just displays some of the many amazing things we witnessed when working with Yesenia. I would without a doubt reccomend Showrunner events to anyone and everyone I know! -

I was originally booked with Milestones’s coordinator through my venue. 2 months prior to the wedding, my venue separated from Milestones and I was introduced to Yesenia. We weren’t sure initially how everything will work out, but it became clear very quickly that we are lucky to have her.
Yesenia has a warm personality, very organized, and always on top of everything. She took so much pressure off of me by providing recommendations and reminding me what’s still on my to-do list. I often email her on the weekends because that’s when I have time to work on the wedding, she never fails to reply. On the day of, everything turned out exactly how I have imagined, and she helped me made some quick timeline changes on the flight based on the atmosphere of the event. After the wedding, all my decors packed neatly in the box we dropped off. I had a perfect wedding because of Yesenia. I would recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat. -
Lisa Sent on 09/28/2018Yesenia is PRICELESS!! I had thought I could put my daughter's wedding together by myself. I found out our venue required a wedding planner and I am so glad they did. Hiring Yesenia was the best decision we ever made. She took care of absolutely everything. Before the day of the wedding, Yesenia suggested and coordinated all our vendors and answered ALL my emails immediately. She even researched and found an amazing babysitter for our granddaughter during the reception. Who does that? On the day of the wedding she was at the venue working with all the vendors and setting up the site. During the wedding and reception she constantly watched over every aspect of the event and made sure everything ran smoothly and flawlessly. I never even saw her unless I needed something and then she was there. It was like she had sixth sense and knew when I had a question. Her ability to keep to a schedule without any of us even knowing it was uncanny. I could go on and on about how wonderful Yesenia was but to sum it up, other than the bride and groom Yesenia was definitely the MVP of an amazing and perfect wedding!!!!

Until we met Yesenia. She is professional, extremely organized and sweet. I mean, what else can you ask for?
We planned our whole wedding from out of state and Yesenia made the whole process stress free. She made me feel special as a bride, which is very important, made me feel calm and relieved that everything was taken care of. I couldn't have asked for a better wedding planner. She crossed everything off my "perfect wedding planner list". She's extremely organized, on time, replies to emails with care and attention and she goes above and beyond to make sure things are going as smoothly as possible.
She helped me bring my vision to life with the decoration, made sure everything was how I wanted and dreamed of.
On the wedding day, she had everything under control and I wasn't worried not even once! Sometimes I needed something done just to find out Yesenia had already done it. She always goes the extra mile to help and make sure you are happy with everything! I'm a true believer some people are born to do something specific in life and this is exactly what Yesenia is supposed to be doing. She's truly the best!
It was such a relief having her as my wedding planner. Even if you think you don't need one, do yourself a favor and hire Yesenia!! You won't regret it!

We booked yesenia through her old wedding coordination company recommended by our venue, but she had transitioned for working at her own company during the midst of our wedding planning. Yesenia made the transition so smooth that it was like it didn't even happen. Yesenia was accommodating of everything we asked of her and offered extremely valuable expertise. I think technically yesenia was our "day of" coordinator but it honestly felt like she was so much more than that. I had quite a lot of small details and personal touches throughout our wedding and she set them all up beautifully. She had awesome ideas that helped us make our wedding very personal for us. Her personality was upbeat and friendly, as well as professional. I couldn't have imagined doing this with anyone else helping me through such a large event, and she managed to pull off the day with no headaches, or last minute emergencies. She even had to deal with last minute changes to the ceremony and timeline.
She reached out to our vendors as we got closer to the day and created our wedding timeline, which sounds like one of the hardest things to do when planning a wedding. Having her there to handle all of the last minute logistics was a life saver. I would highly, HIGHLY recommend her services in the future.
Most of the photos are ones that she had taken, and most of the details although provided by me, were assembled and arranged by her the day of the event. She followed through with my vision perfectly. -

She contacted all the venders, created the wedding timeline, and really listened to my thoughts about what my perfect wedding would be. She went to Encore with me to help me choose linens and table settings. I trusted her to take all my decor and put it where it would looked nice. She was great at communicating through email and helped answer any last minute questions! It felt like she was extended family and I am sad that my wedding is now over. She made sure I had everything I needed all day and I appreciate everything she did. She did an incredible job! My wedding wouldn't have gone as smoothly or as beautiful without her.
