User4958223 Sent on 09/29/2015Worth every penny! Paul and Justin are phenomenal! I honestly wasn't that interested in booking a videographer for our wedding until I saw what Paul and Justin could do and I was just in awe of their work. They have really changed the game when it comes to wedding videography and there is no doubt in my mind that this was money well spent.
We worked with Justin for our Love Story interview and with Paul (plus an assistant) on our wedding day. Both of these guys are extremely professional but are also a ton of fun and just down to earth, easy going guys. They are true artists and they can do some crazy things with video. They will make you relive your wedding day and all of the emotions you felt that day with what they capture - I really cannot say enough great things about these guys.
Do not hesitate - book them now! -

Everything was lovely and friendly and exciting until I sent ShoFilms the final deposit (totaling ~$6,000) and it all went down hill from there
Leading up to our wedding-
I emailed and called Paul multiple times to confirm the wedding day timeline with no response. I informed my photographer who then posted on the Elizabeth Forward Facebook page asking if anyone knew of the wellbeing of Paul because she was shooting a wedding with him but hadn’t heard from him. He of course immediately responded to me and asked photographer to remove the post. I assumed he was busy, no hard feelings, and moved on.
Wedding day-
Paul and his second shooter arrived on time and stayed the duration of the wedding. However, there were many, many times throughout the night where we found ourselves looking around thinking “wow I hope this moment was caught on film” only for the videographers to be nowhere in sight. I understand we’re all human and need breaks and no one can video for a straight 12 hours, but it got to a point where we didn’t even know if the videographers were still at the venue. Turns out that they spent a lot of time relaxing in the bridal lounge with their feet up on the table. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, assumed I caught them in the middle of a break, and didn’t let it ruin our very perfect wedding day :)
Post wedding -
When booking, Paul told me that I would get a teaser video the day after our wedding, a highlight video 3 months after our wedding, and the rest of the videos 6 months after our wedding. As months passed by without receiving any videos, I began calling, emailing, and texting countless times without any replies. On the rare occurrences I did get a response, it was “2 more weeks” and then months would pass without me receiving a damn thing (note the dates in the texts). These screenshots speak for themselves. As we are celebrating our ONE YEAR anniversary, I decided to try one last time with Paul. He FINALLY responded with videos. However, our reception video seemed to have cut off around 6:00PM, even though we had paid for coverage until 9:30PM. I questioned this and he replied that my package was for “up to 12 hours”, (even though it clearly says 12 hours on ShoFilms website, in screenshot photo). I asked him to send me the raw footage because at this point, I would rather have an unedited video than nothing at all. He replied that the raw footage would cost $700. Admittedly I am unfamiliar with what work goes into compiling raw footage, but naive me assumed that after making me not only wait an entire year but also completely ignoring me through the process, he would’ve given them to me for free🤷🏼♀️ -
