  Shoeless works recently videoed our wedding! Joe was amazing!! The video came to us so quickly after the wedding and was everything and more we could have wanted! The quality is great and everything he captured! He was so nice and great to work with!! So affordable for the package you get! Honestly, I would recommend his work to everyone! I am so pleased and happy with our wedding video!! Thank you Joe!

  I know how tiring it is to read review after review and try to make a decision for your big day, so do yourself a favor and stop looking for videographers here. Joe is hands down and the best you'll find! I honestly can't say enough wonderful things about him. Like everyone else has said, from the moment we met Joe, we knew we had made the right decision. After talking to several videographers about price and packaging (who claimed to be reasonably priced and wanted 4,000 for a highlight video), Joe explained all that he offers and for such an affordable price. We almost went without a videographer because we were so disheartened by the other quotes. However, not only was Joe affordable, but he was genuine. You could tell he wasn't just going to go through the motions of filming, but really do his best to capture our day. And he did just that. The videos turned out better than we could have ever imagined, and were waiting in the mail for us by the time we got back from our honeymoon. We can't stop watching them! Joe made us so comfortable, was easy to talk to, and more like a friend than anything else on our wedding day. Guests still talk about how much they loved our videographer and how he felt like part of the family! He kept us laughing through the stress of getting all the details together, and after talking about how hungry we were post ceremony during picture taking, came bearing sausages from the reception! Haha! Joe is a rare find.

  We can't recommend Joe enough! We hired him as our videographer for our wedding in December and are so happy we did. Not only is he great at what he does, but he is also super fun to work with! He is very knowledgeable as well about all things wedding and helped us with several things during the day. He is super easy to work with and makes you feel very comfortable. We got our videos back and were so happy with them! The quality is great and he captured so much footage that we will love looking back on for years to come. We are so glad we chose Joe and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a videographer!

  Shoeless Works was amazing! He had a long drive so we scheduled him to start later in the day closer to the actual first look and ceremony time, but he surprised us at the salon as we were getting ready and stayed the entire day then made the long drive home. He was so nice, and so easy to get along with and open up to, it was like he was a friend that we had known forever and everything just came pouring out. He then had our amazing videos completed and at our home the day we returned from our honeymoon. The actual videos themselves were beyond amazing, everyone who watched them laughed and cried just as much as we did on our wedding day. Joe is the Videographer you want for your wedding.

  We seriously loved Joe! Our video captured all the important things at our wedding, but he recorded so discreetly you never noticed he was there. I watch my highlight reel at least once a day! Haha:) he made everyone feel at ease about being on camera. I was on the verge of not getting a videographer but I am so thankful I did. Joe captured moments that I will cherish forever.

  Working with Joe as our videographer was like working with a friend! Joe was funny, energetic, and a lot of fun! He was affordable and kept in touch with us throughout the year. He made us feel like our wedding was the most important day of the year! We were very comfortable in front of the camera and trusted he would capture our day wonderfully. It was important to us to have a video of our wedding so we could watch it over our years and show our kids one day...we knew that Joe would make sure to capture every important aspect and truly highlight the love we share and he did just that! We haven't watched our full length film but the preview he sent us, I was in tears through the whole thing...if it is any indication of how beautiful the full video will be we are truly blessed to have this treasure! We definitely reccommend Joe as your videographer and know your day will be just as beautiful as ours :)

  Joe was an absolute delight to work with. Beginning with the consultation, you could immediately tell he is a genuine person anyone would be lucky to work with. He came well prepared with several examples of his work, my -now husband- and I didn't even need to look at each other to know we were going to have Joe as our videographer. After the consultation, he was always quick to respond to emails, sweet and kind through emails, and easy to work with. The day of, he was there early, he captured everything wanted and more, he dealt with a little stress of the bride (sorry, Joe) running a little late from the hair/makeup apt and he did so calmly and kindly and then had to hustle to set up his equipment. We had an outdoor beach wedding, the weather wasn't awesome that day, very windy. Despite everything, when we got our video, our jaws dropped several times. The video was more than either of us could have imagined and beyond perfect. I don't know how he created that video and so quickly, I'm not sure if he even slept for a few days. We were so giddy watching it, he made perfect song choices from our songs, he perfectly edited (cutting my awkward wedding jitter rambling during my interview, thanks!), and background choice.. just everything was magnificent. Vidoegraphy can be expensive but I am so happy we decided to budget in other areas to hire Joe, who was extremely reasonable. It turned out absolutely amazing and this is something we will have forever that shows everything you want to remember. I showed my family the highlight video immediately, my mother watched it twice and cried (happy cried) both times and then sent it to my entire family to watch - everyone loved it. You will be sorry if you do not hire Joe with Shoeless works for your wedding vidoegraphy. Worth every penny and more! We can not thank him enough or find enough words for how grateful we are for the job he did. Perfection!

  Joe at Shoeless Works went ABOVE AND BEYOND our expectations! On our wedding day he made my husband and I so comfortable. He was extremely professional and he has a very "calming" presence on a day that can be filled with butterflies :). Within 24 hours after our wedding he had already emailed us a great clip from our wedding and he had our entire wedding video mailed to us within 1 week!!   Shoeless works was great to work with during my wedding planning! I am so glad I did a wedding video as I will be able to relive the wonderful memories from my wedding!! Our video turned out excellent and the turn around time to get my video was soooo fast!!! Definitely go with shoeless works for your wedding video!

  When I started planning my wedding my husband and i disagreed on whether to hire a videographer. I did some research and found Joe. After crying through a few of his videos and seeing that his prices fit our budget, we hired him! Joe was great to work with, very laid back and easy going and always on time. I hired him about 8 months before the wedding and he made sure to keep in contact with me throughout my planning process. In the weeks leading up to the wedding he followed up with me on schedules, etc. The day of the wedding everyone enjoyed being around him! He wasn't intrusive at all but made sure to get the important shots. I know my video is something we will cherish for a lifetime. Thank you Joe!!

  I used Shoeless Works for both photography and videography. I am so pleased with the results! I have thousands of photos (broken into folders by categories) that I was able to post on Facebook, print and turn into a photo book because they GIVE YOU THE RIGHTS to YOUR photos. I don't know of another photographer in the Charlotte area who will give you the rights so you can make as many copies as you want and do whatever you need to do without asking permission or paying additional fees. Joe and Jess are easy to work with, open to your suggestions and very professional. My guests commented on how great they were - didn't block them during the ceremony as many videographers do - and they captured all the moments I asked them to. The video was great with emotional moments, great sound, and a funny music montage. I would definitely use them again. I provided a list of pictures I wanted and highly suggest doing this with whoever you work with as it made the photos go quickly and saved guests from waiting too long. I would highly suggest using Shoeless Works for any wedding or engagement session.

We, like many others, were torn over whether to get a videographer because of the cost... but Joe is so affordable and you get so much for your money! Joe was friendly and many of our friends and family raved about how nice he was and so easy to talk to. He went above and beyond with our DVD, adding in extra touches from our wedding. He also communicated very well with us before and after the wedding, updating us on when we would be getting our DVD, etc. I honestly can't say enough how happy we were with Joe and would recommend him to anyone! Our DVD is amazing and I know that we will cherish if for years to come.

  If you are looking for a videographer your journey stops here!!! Me and my husband meet Joe about a year ago, and I really believe it was a divine connection. At our initial meeting he told us about his years of experience and showed us his work and we were sold! He did several projects for us before our wedding and they turned out even better than what I had imagined in my mind. I would write detailed emails explaining my vision and he would always deliver and surpass my expectations. The talent that this company has is beyond words and the highlight video that was made of our wedding had our guest in tears. We released doves at our wedding and he was able to capture the release in slow motion, it was awesome. I would definitely recommend upgrading to that package. The video made me feel like I was watching a Cinderella movie, it was breathtaking. My husband and I have watched the video at least 30 times or more, no exaggeration! The video and pictures are the only thing you will have to look back on and show your family and future children after the wedding, so don’t take any chances because this will last for years to come. Even in the future I plan to use Shoeless Works for all my needs, why change when you already have the best!

  Derek and I loved having Joe as our videographer. He was very professional, affordable, and really made us feel comfortable. We haven't gotten our video back yet, but I know it will be awesome. He really had a modern and contemporary feel to his work. He was there the whole time and got some really good shots. He worked along with our photographer so between the 2 I know they captured really awesome moments. I would most definitely recommend him to other couples.

  "My husband and I paid for our wedding ourselves and we tried very hard to stay withina reasonable budget. I knew I wanted a videographer but didn't have thousands of dollars to spend. I found Joe online and his prices were the most reasonable of anyone I found. I am so thankful I came across his site in my search. He met with us in person driving an hour and a half to do so. I was impressed from the beginning with his warm, friendly personality. The videos I'd seen online and the one he brought for us to view cinched it and I knew immediately that this was the perfect fit for us. He and his wife drove over 2 hours at no extra charge and were wonderful to work with the whole day. Three weeks after the wedding we received our video. It was perfect!!! My husband and I sat and cried through the whole thing remembering the day and how special it was to us. It was worth every penny!!!! "

  I almost didn't have a videographer because I didn't have a bunch of money left in my budget, but my mom really wanted one so we went with Joe because he was affordable. I remember my mom saying "Even if he isn't the best at least we will have something on video to watch." We were SO wrong. Joe's price doesn't mean lower quality, it just means that he wants you to be able to actually afford a videographer to have videos to watch of your day. He exceeded our highest expectations. The day after our wedding my new husband looked at me and said "Where did you find that videographer? He was awesome! I was really nervous, but Joe was really chill and helped me relax too." It's so true. Joe was always there with his camera to capture everything, but not in an intrusive way that made you nervous. We would highly recommend Joe and Shoeless Works to anyone who needed a videographer for any special occasion!

  After contacting several videography companies, Shoeless Works was the only one who said they could do the style we were looking for for a reasonable price. We wanted to have a highlights video with slow motion footage set to music (no words) to capture all the best moments of our wedding day. For years to come, we wanted to ensure that hours of raw footage wouldn't be our only option for revisiting this day. The companies who could do this for us were way too expensive, so we had given up hope until Joe contacted me after our initial correspondence to say he'd done more research into the style we were looking for, was willing to purchase new equipment to do it, and could give us a great price. WOW! We met with Joe and his wife, whose enthusiasm, flexibility, and expertise impressed us right off the bat. On our wedding day, Joe and Jessica were delightful and extremely fun to work with, and the videos they produced for us (which were already complete when we got home from our honeymoon!) were beyond what we ever envisioned. Shoeless Works was undeniably the BEST investment of our whole wedding. The videos captured exactly the sentiment and feel that we were looking for and truly showcase Joe's skill and creativity. He has a kind and can do demeanor that puts you at ease through the whole process. Joe always made sure we knew what to expect and then delivered a product well beyond our greatest expectations. We not only have a DVD to watch and cherish of our wedding but he added music we love in such a perfect way that tears came to my eyes watching it. He caught every special moment and even added to our day by interviewing us and editing it so perfectly. He even provided a bonus video of dancing we didn't see that night that had us laughing hysterically! Now that I have seen our video I would be devastated if I had not hired him.   Joe far exceeded my expectations and was extremely reasonable price wise. I couldn't have asked for anything better! Music choices were superb and he took the time to talk to both of us in depth and tailor the video to our story.

  The video came out very good! They did a great job even with very poor lightning in a Castle. They send us three DVD boxes with two DVD's in each. I even didn't expect we will get bonus DVD.
