I would choose the Sheraton to have our wedding at over and over again. We worked initially with Stacey as we booked during the height of COVID and then with Cathy. Both were so very kind and helpful. Before the wedding we had a pre meeting with Cathy which calmed my nerves. Then on wedding day both Cathy and our Maitre D’ Hillary made sure everything went seamlessly. They paid so much attention to detail and made sure both of us were happy. We had a special process for our professional and Cathy and Hillary took to heart to make sure it worked perfectly! They kept us so calm throughout the day. We did our ceremony and reception at the hotel and it was a logistical dream. Never having to leave and having so many great photo locations around the hotel made the day much more stress free! Especially with having a lot of out of town guests, the hotel made everything very convenient. The bridal suite was amazing and icing on the cake after our reception. All of the staff were so kind and we have no complaints. We had the best day with the Sheraton!

I worked with Cathy at the Sheraton Suites when planning my 2020 reception. Due to Covid, we moved both the ceremony and reception to 2021, and Cathy and her team could not have been more accommodating during those times of uncertainty.
Working directly with Cathy the last few months prior to my day was an absolute breeze. Her attention to detail plus tied into the fact that she was always fast to respond to emails and provided detailed answers back- I felt like I was the only bride she was working with at the time. (which I could I knew wasn't the case, but that's how she makes you feel- her focus is on you). On the day, she was ever so present in knowing what to do and when, keeping the day moving smoothly. The venue itself is just beautiful. My guests could not stop talking about the sights of the river, how good the food was, and the overall how accommodating everyone was. We loved having our guests stay the night, then we could see them in the morning at breakfast. I will forever be grateful that we selected the Sheraton Suites for our July 2021 reception.

I am so thankful I booked my wedding at the Sheraton. I originally had planned to only hold my reception there but approximately 3 months before, I was told our church would not open if our county was still red under the COVID system. Luckily, the Sheraton allowed us to hold our ceremony at the hotel as well. They were great during Covid and allowed me to have the wedding of my dreams.

I’m so glad we picked this venue! The staff at the Sheraton go above and beyond! We had lots of out of town guests including ourselves and they were able to accommodate us for an affordable discounted rate! From the cocktail hour to The ballroom to coffee service, everything was beyond perfect! The food was superb and all of our guests were very impressed! We also splurged for the late night pizza which was a great added touch!

Oh my goodness, it was more beautiful than we could have imagined!!! We held our reception at the Sheraton and had guests from all over the world stay in a hotel block. Cathy, our coordinator, made the process so much easier when planning from a distance. Raia, our maitre'd, made everything flow so smoothly. Our guests were well taken care of by Gina, our bartender, and the servers. The balcony views of the rapids, foliage, and kayakers were spectacular from the Summit Room for cocktail hour. The Jr. Ballroom was the perfect size for 80 guests and looked really beautiful with a touch of uplighting and flowers. We received many compliments on the food. The Grand Wedding Package provided lots of high-end appetizers, upscale entrees, and plenty of delicious drinks for the whole night. The convenience factor was huge. We were able to have several wedding weekend events within walking distance. Downtown Cuyahoga Falls has cute restaurants and bars for welcome parties/after parties/rehearsal dinners, and the brunch at the hotel was amazing! The bridal suite had 2 levels and a balcony with a river view. The large living room area was perfect for having makeup and hair on-site and also allowed us to have some friends over the day after the wedding to play board games. There is no need to leave the property for pictures as the area is full of opportunities for indoor and outdoor pictures (e.g. riverfront walkway, High Glens Bridge Park next door, riverfront pictures, glass elevator, grand staircase). You cannot get a better value at any other venue. We had considered having our wedding in a few different states and types of venues and am so happy we chose this special place!

You truly get your money's worth at this venue. We had a 250+ person wedding reception in the grand ballroom at the Sheraton and it was absolutely magical. Jennifer Heideman, the event coordinator there was exceptional. I would recommend this place 10/10. If we could go back and do our reception over again, we would do it just the same!!

The Sheraton Suites will always remain a very special place for us. Not only did we get engaged at the stunning Beau's on the River Restaurant with the help of the manager, Ryan... A year later we decided to have our wedding there at the Sheraton Suites and I cant thank them enough for all their fabulous service! Wedding Coordinator Jennifer Heideman along with Raia Presto went ABOVE and BEYOND the day of my wedding. They took care of everything, coordinated vendors, accommodated for our specific details, had great communication, delivered all the gifts, cake, veil, etc to the room, and promptly answered and addressed all my questions and concerns. We were so, so, pleased by all of their hard work and effort! The reception looked AMAZING. Every one of our guests raved about it. I cannot thank them enough for making the day absolutely perfect. You can NOT beat having the areas BEST bridal suite steps away from the party and the BEST brunch at Beau's on the River the next morning. I would highly recommend this venue to and bride or groom!

There are so many aspects about the Sheraton in Cuyahoga Falls that we absolutely loved when it came to hosting our ceremony and wedding: the amazing collaboration and support from all staff from start to finish, the attention to detail in planning and coordinating all of the diverse components, the beautiful location on the Cuyahoga Falls (so many opportunities for gorgeous wedding pictures!), the abundance of natural light in both the Library Room (where we held our ceremony) and Cuyahoga Falls ballroom, the two-floor bridal suites and the excellent hotel rooms for guests, the delicious and elegantly prepared food, and the transparent and reasonably priced package deal that included so much (e.g. menu tasting, NO hidden or outrageous fees, wedding coordinator etc.)! The Sheraton in Cuyahoga Falls was THE PERFECT location for us! We had 75 guests and fit comfortably in their smaller ballroom overlooking the Falls (which lights up at night) but they also have a larger ballroom (with beautiful lighting) if you have a bigger guest list.

We worked very closely with Dawn while planning our wedding reception. Everything turned out perfect and she did everything to help us stay stress free and truly enjoy our day! The planning process was easy and enjoyable! I highly recommend planning an important event with The Sheraton!

The Sheraton provided the perfect venue for our wedding reception. There were so many great aspects about it that I am not sure where to start. Well for one our main contact was Dawn and she is phenomenal! She was quick to respond to questions or provide advice from her experience when we were not sure about something regarding the reception. She was extremely helpful in the planning process and our “night of” maitre de Karen was also spectacular. She helped with set up, moving presents into the ballroom, locking up of checks, and various other things that we appreciated. The venue itself is beautiful with several photo op spots inside and around the hotel. We got a lot of compliments on the food and service during the reception. The rooms were the nicest we have stayed in by far and the service was always outstanding. We are also using our points from the wedding weekend on our hotel for the honeymoon which was a nice bonus!

Very elegant, great staff, and reasonably proced for what you get out of your selected wedding package.

(We had our reception here only, not the ceremony.) The team at the Sheraton was absolutely amazing. I was blown away by the level of their communication, their service, and how much effort they put into making our wedding reception an amazing celebration.

I was able to deliver box loads of personal decorations to them the day before the wedding, and they set up so much stuff for us. Then they boxed everything up at the end of the night and delivered it to our room (the complimentary, two-floor king suite), including our gifts. We didn't have to lift a finger. They also had some of their own decorations that they offer if you would like to use what they have (no charge). Everything is included in the price they give you per head, and there are zero extra fees, which I find to be amazingly transparent and I was so grateful we didn't have any surprise fees lumped onto our total. Oh, and we got four different dishes for our plated dinner, which is more than the other venues we saw, and the food was all amazing.

You won't get any points for originality in a hotel ballroom, but it's so worth it to have an elegant wedding where everything went right because of how experienced the staff is.

From the moment I went to my first bridal show at the Sheraton, I knew without hesistation that it would be the place for my reception. I put all my trust in Sherton Suites Akron/Cuyahoga Falls and they DELIVERED!!!

Our daughter's wedding was held on the deck of the Sheraton, Cuyahoga Falls....it was great! Jamie worked with us for 6 months; super responsive! Even when the forecast called for storms and there were 2 other weddings there, at the same time, she scrambled with us. The vows went off without a hitch, 10 minutes before the rain. Could not ask for anyone better!!! Thanks Jamie, you're the best!!!

I absolutely LOVED the Sheraton for my ceremony and reception! First of all, the hotel and the surrounding areas are absolutely gorgeous!!! We did all of our pictures behind the hotel on the walkway on the river and across the street at the park, and they turned out so great. Everyone that looks at my pictures comments on the beautiful scenery. Second, they did a fantastic job coordinating the wedding of my dreams! I worked closely with the wedding coordinator, Jamie, in planning out every last detail of the event. Jamie is great to work with; she is extremely responsive...every time I called or e-mailed her with a question, she got back to me right away. Also, everything about my wedding day went exactly as planned...there were no last-minute disasters, and I know that that is completely thanks to Jamie and her attention to detail. Finally, the food was wonderful! I had several guests comment to me that it was the best food that they ever had at a wedding before, and I have to agree!

I highly recommend the Sheraton as a ceremony/reception venue, and will be personally recommending it to anyone I know getting married in the Akron area.

The Sheraton Suites at Cuyahoga Falls was an amazing location for our wedding reception! We had many guests from out of town and it was so convenient to have everything in one spot (church down the street, reception at the hotel with rooms for all guests, bar that was open after the reception for those guests who wanted to continue the party!). The falls were a great place for pics as well. The reception was beautiful and the whole night ran flawlessly, the staff at Sheraton took care of everything, I didn't have to worry about anything that day! Highly recommended!

Sheraton Suites is an amazing place for your reception. My daughter was pleased to have all her requests honored and work with Janet their wedding coordinator. Janet is experienced and knows what will work for you and your wedding, she is an asset to the Sheraton. There are beautiful photo opportunities along the river and the reception hall and happy hour area are top notch. Your guests have a place to stay so as not to have to drive home. Food was excellent as well. Thanks for a memorable wedding reception Sheraton Suites and Janet!

The Wedding Planner at the Sheraton Suites (Janet Boswell) is the most professional, flexible, friendly, and creative wedding planner I've dealt with. From the moment I met her I felt confident that our wedding would be what we wanted. She is extremely CREATIVE and INTUITIVE, seeming to know what my fiancee and I wanted (when we expressed we wanted something different, she had a cache of other ideas in the wings).

If that isn't enough, I would hire her just for her EXCELLENT referrals. We told her an idea of what we wanted, and she selected about two vendors for each service we needed. Almost all the vendors were an absolute pleasure to work with!

I highly recommend her!!!

I do not have enough nice things to say about this venue & the wedding coordinator. Let's just say I was 100% satisfied with our ceremony & reception taking place here & I will forever stay in contact with the wedding coordinator from the Sheraton, Janet Boswell. She could not have made my planning process more of a joy!

This is where my husband and I had our small reception after our small ceremony. We were treated VERY well. It may have helped that we had the person that officiated our wedding with us. The Mayor.

The staff was great. From the time I booked the hotel for my reception to even after the wedding it all went well. The day of some how the candles that were going to be used in the centerpieces were miss placed by someone at the front desk, the coordinator went out and bought new ones to be sure we had everything we wanted. They gave my husband and I our food early to be sure we ate. Everything was perfect. The coordinator answered all my questions very quickly. They are a little pricey, but everyone had a great time and the food was great. All I can say is FABULOUS! Love that staff!

The whole wedding and reception was beautiful, and the Sheraton staff were all very responsive and friendly. The value was good for all they did. The only issue area was probably in flexibility, and they were still great; just not as flexible as other vendors may have been since they are a hotel.

We were lucky enough to obtain an 'off-season' rate for our March wedding at the Sheraton Suites in Cuyahoga Falls, and we could not have been happier. The way the staff executed the decor was beyond our expectations, the meals were incredible and the bar service was outstanding. A Maître d' is included in the wedding fee, which was an invaluable service; this person follows the bride from start to finish to ensure everything runs on time and that she is 100% comfortable. Our wedding was perfectly executed in spite of some changes that required flexibility from the staff on-the-fly. I would recommend this venue and the event planning team (Dawn Minnick in particular) to any bride or anyone looking for a place to host an event of any kind.

We recently had our wedding and reception here and overall it was wonderful. Janet was the event planner who we started with and she was WONDERFUL. Unfortunately she took another job the month before the wedding. She did a great job of coordinating everything and leaving all the details for the people who would be handling the wedding and reception. We were not very pleased with her replacement ... poor attitude, maybe it was just defensive since she knew she was following a GREAT ACT. Fortunately we had to deal with her very little ... the office manager and the banquet manager did a great job. The other people were all great, especially the day of the wedding. It was a bit disappointing that we couldn't keep some of the left over food and we also had some disappointment over the fact that the new event planner wasn't as flexible. The venue is very lovely and hopefully the new event planner will not have an attitude with new clients.

The Sheraton in Cuyahoga Falls Ohio went above and beyond my expectations. I knew that it was a lovely event location with good service - but I was blown away with the level of service, precision and expertise that all came together on the day of my wedding. Truly a wonderful group to work with - and if you can get Janet to be your coordinator you're in good hands!
