Courtney, Desiree, Lori, and the team at the Sheraton were incredible! Very easy to contact throughout the process. It is clear they have hosted so many amazing weddings and other events at this hotel. The hotel bar was a hit both before and after our wedding. Guest rooms were fantastic. The lobby is very beautiful and there were great spaces for us to get pictures around the hotel.
The food tasting was great and very helpful for us to personalize our meals and appetizers from a great selection! Courtney kept us organized and on track throughout the planning process. We had to use minimal outside vendors which was a great fit for us. We used one of their recommended DJ groups and were very pleased! We did not need a planner or day of organizer.
The Sheraton was accommodating and fantastic to work with! Have recommended to friends and family!

Where do I even start - there is simply nobody in the city that does weddings like Courtney. She is an absolute Machine that works tirelessly for her couples to create their perfect vision, and she truly cares so much. She is also an officiant, and performed our ceremony perfectly. She is the best of the best. We had rave reviews about how good the food was, and all the staff wonderful care of our family and friends. They are absolute pros. The day of Coordinator, Des, always made sure I was taken care of and had water, food, etc. She was amazing as well.

This was a perfect location for a Pittsburgh wedding. They offer so much at this venue for the wedding services. They offer food, linens, beverages, room blocks, etc. The only vendors we needed to hire were floral, DJ, photography, and videography. Courtney keeps in touch with you throughout the planning process and lets you know when to complete each step. Every event leading up to our reception was super pleasant, and Courtney and her staff were very responsive. I would recommend this location to anyone who wants to have a wedding in Pittsburgh.

We can't say enough about how wonderful our experience was having our wedding at the Sheraton Station Square. From our very first meeting, to the planning process, to the execution of wedding week prep and wedding day festivities, they were absolutely top notch. At the core of all of this is Courtney, our wedding coordinator at the Sheraton. Professional, knowledgeable, helpful and kind at every turn. Throughout the process, we always felt like we were in good hands. She answered every question quickly, no matter how big or how small (and even on her days off). Planning a wedding is stressful business and we can't thank her enough for how much easier she made our process. The same praise goes to all of the staff at the Sheraton as well. On the day of, everything was beautiful, well-prepared and went off without a hitch. Our banquet captain Robbie ensured that there was nothing us, our wedding party or our wedding guests would want for that day. Our wedding day and our wedding experience with the Sheraton Station Square was exceptional and we can't recommend it enough to others!

Courtney is seriously THE BEST!!!!!! She made every ounce of our wedding process so seamless from initially meeting, to taste testing, to the day of. She was SO QUICK to respond I cannot recommend her and this venue more! The workers and staff were so kind and accommodating! Everyone was beautiful and I cannot say enough positive things about them! FIRST CLASS ALL AROUND!!!

Our coordinator Courtney was THE BEST and was so helpful through all of the postponement/covid changes/etc!! The space was beautiful, the food was great, staff was attentive, I didn't have to worry about setting up anything, and my guests were so impressed!!

The Sheraton at Station Square provided the perfect setting for our special day! The views, the accommodations, and the close proximity of activities for our guests to partake in throughout the weekend was everything we could have asked for and then some. Finding a location to host the reception was stressful due to the numerous options available. With half of our guests traveling from out of town, finding the perfect location in downtown Pittsburgh, close to all of the great activities the steel city has to offer that was reasonably priced was made easy with the Sheraton in Station Square. It was everything that was advertised and was worth every penny. What made choosing the Sheraton in Station Square an easier decision was the wedding coordinator, Courtney. She was extremely thorough and promptly provided answers to any questions and concerns we had even throughout the chaos of the year 2020. On top of being extremely organized, she was also calm, energetic, and determined to make our wedding everything we dreamed it would be. The wedding went off without a hitch! Courtney and the staff at the Sheraton worked tirelessly around the clock with our other vendors to keep the event running seamlessly and stress free. Pittsburgh is one of the greatest places on earth and the Sheraton allows for you, your spouse, and your guests to experience it in its entirety on a weekend you'll surely never forget!

Courtney was absolutely everything. She is an expert in her field. She knows every single detail about every aspect of the wedding. We asked her a million questions and she was patient and answered everything in detail. Any correspondence with her is almost instant, and that is something that is important to me because I can be very impatient. I changed my mind about chairs and few things right at the very end and she just made it happen! She’s so efficient! On the day of my wedding she and her assistant were there to guide us through everything. She helped my maid of honor with the bustle on my dress which was tedious and intimidating to say the least and she bustled it up like it was no problem! Details like that made my wedding day the most amazing day and eased my anxiety in so many ways. She just takes care of you. Clearly loves her job. The venue was gorgeous, we chose the reflections and waterfront room and enjoyed the view of the river and city the whole time. The food was amazing. All of it. I couldn’t be happier with our wedding experience at the Sheraton Pittsburgh Hotel at Station Square!

Our wedding reception at the Sheraton was absolutely perfect! The ballroom overlooking Pittsburgh's city skyline was beautiful and really wowed our out-of-town guests and Pittsburghers alike! The food quality and selection was wonderful and everything, including the bar selections, were very reasonably priced for the location. While this alone would have led me to write a 5-star review, I need to emphasize how amazing the Sheraton's wedding coordinator, Courtney, was in the process. She was incredibly helpful in planning and always punctual and responsive. When it came to the day of she was organized the bulk of the organization and prep work, allowing us to just relax in the morning. She coordinated all of the deliveries and setup, placed our cake topper while we were at the ceremony, made sure we were checked into our hotel room for the night, and even made sure the bridal party and parents had drinks when the bar was closed during dinner. While I haven't worked with private event coordinators before, I expect her work to match if not surpass what many brides pay extra for in an independent wedding planner. I would 100% recommend using the Sheraton as a wedding venue!

We had the best experience with Sheraton Pittsburgh Hotel at Station Square. From the beginning, Courtney was such a huge help. With any emails or even phone calls that we may have had, she made us feel like we were her most important wedding. Even after the wedding, she reached out when some of our vendors had forgotten things to ensure everyone had their belongings.
The day of the wedding, Courtney was unable to work, but she made sure that we were in great hands with Corinne and Robbie. They both made sure that we didn't want for anything. Honestly, the day went off without a hitch thanks to them!
The only negative thing I have to say is about the room block process. It was very difficult for our guests to book rooms, and we were constantly being the middle man. However, Courtney made sure to always rectify the situation and make not only us happy, but also our guests.
Overall, I would absolutely recommended the Sheraton for your wedding day. The view was breathtaking, and our guests kept commenting how perfect the location was. The Sheraton crew and staff was incredible. Anything we needed, they got it for us and made us feel like we were the most important couple they had worked with.

We held our wedding reception in June 2018 at the Sheraton Station Square. We would highly recommend the Sheraton to anyone thinking of holding a reception there!

Courtney was our wedding coordinator, and we experienced nothing but preparedness, professionalism, and promptness throughout the entire reception planning process. We were originally drawn to the Sheraton due to its excellent location near downtown, its river view (our cocktail hour in the Fountain View room & back patio was fabulous), and its relatively all-inclusive nature. It did not disappoint!

Because the Sheraton takes care of organizing food, drinks, wedding cake, and decorations, that meant there were so many fewer things for us to worry about in the final days leading up to the wedding! Regarding the latter, we left really detailed instructions for Courtney and staff describing where we wanted all our pictures, booths, centerpieces, and other add-ons to go. We were admittedly a little nervous about the reception room set-up prior to the wedding day, but we were floored at how wonderfully Courtney and staff set up the room. It really exceeded our expectations.

They were also really flexible - as would be expected, we had late-breaking changes to the reception and additional items to add to the reception space. Courtney accepted these changes without issue or complaint.

Overall, we think the Sheraton is a great space to hold your wedding reception.

We had our wedding there in May 2018. From the first moment we met Courtney, we knew she cared about us as a couple and pulling together the vision we had. Throughout the whole planning process Courtney was great to work with, especially working with a couple that wasn't just out of state, but living in two separate states. She made sure we could do the food tasting while we were both in town and was very quick to respond to emails and phone calls. I loved working with the Sheraton and our day of staff was great at keeping our guests happy and making sure everything ran smoothly. Some things I definitely enjoyed was how the chef was able to make dietary accommodations, the bridal party had their own private room to enjoy cocktail hour separate from the guests, and they were very upfront about pricing and what to expect. We couldn't have asked for a better reception venue and I hope anyone who has theirs there agrees!

We held our August, 2017 wedding reception at the Sheraton Station Square and would highly recommend to anybody considering the venue.

We were originally drawn to the Sheraton because of the convenience it provided for our of town guests. It is centrally located in Station Square, a quick walk or Uber to downtown, Mt. Washington, and the South Side. Also, being a hotel was a big plus. During our tour, we were blow away by the view of downtown Pittsburgh from the lobby. The Sheraton has a few different rooms to choose from for hosting events, and we ended up with 2/3 of the ballroom.

The highlight of the entire planning process was working with Courtney Drahovsky, Director of Catering. She ensured that the entire process was seamless, from picking colors and decor, to selecting the food, to coordinating with our outside vendors. Courtney was incredibly responsive, and took some last minute changes regarding headcount and setup of the room in stride.

The day of the wedding, everything went smoothly. The room was impressive and setup exactly as expected. Courtney's team of caterers, severs, etc. were a pleasure, and we received many compliments on the food. I was amazed that with all of it's moving parts, the entire reception went off without a hitch.

The Sheraton Station Square provided an impressive venue with a top notch catering team at a great value for the area. We would absolutely select this venue all over again after such a positive experience.

I would tell them to go for it!! The Reflections room was perfect with a view of the city and having the additional room for the bar area and cookie tables. Allison (wedding planner) is very knowledge and very accommodating. The food was delicious with healthy portions. The staff was very courteous and professional. We have not one complaint!

I do not even know where to begin. From the very beginning, through to the end of our stay, the entire staff at the Sheraton Station Square made our wedding process and day an absolute FAIRY-TALE! Allison was the wedding planner that we used and she was extremely helpful, efficient, and kind with absolutely everything. Howie was the captain in charge and he made sure that everything was perfect with us, and the wedding guests, the entire night. The food was delicious and exactly as presented at the tasting. The staff was beyond friendly and went above and beyond with service. I would highly recommend ANYONE to have their wedding at this venue because it was an absolute dream and 100% the best day of our lives, and all thanks to the wonderful service and staff from the Sheraton! I will definitely be staying at this hotel again.

I had my ceremony in the Admiral Room and my reception in the Reflections room at the Sheraton in Station Square. It was amazing. I cannot say enough positive things about my experience having my wedding there. From the beginning, Allison was so helpful and nice. She was always responsive and answered any questions we had. She helped us select vendors, who were awesome as well. Allison and everyone at the Sheraton made my dream wedding happen. The food was DELICIOUS, the staff were so nice to everyone and happy and helpful the entire evening. We received so many compliments about how amazing the food was- the cocktail hour food, the filet and chicken for dinner and even the late night snacks. The set up all my decorations perfectly and even packed everything up at the end of the evening. Any special request my groom or I had, they went above and beyond. You cannot beat the value- we researched so many places, but nothing beats the views of Pittsburgh like we had in the Reflections Room. Many of our guests were from out of town and had never been to Pittsburgh. The Sheraton rooms were beautiful and a great location to explore the city. I wouldn't have changed a thing!

Was everything we hoped for. Staff and food were excellent.Allison was great and helpful and cheerful at all times. Venue looked beautiful,it was a dream come true.

The physical aspects of the venue were elegant and perfect! From the view of the city to the linens, chair covers, cookies, cake, and appetizers ( displayed and butler presented) the evening was like a fairy tale setting. The captain, the catering manager, the banquet director and all the servers were extremely professional and always ready to assist in any situation!! Their personalities shined through with professionalism and quick response at all times. A few "unique" situations were never a difficulty for them as they used ingenuity and wit to solve or avert any problems. I thoroughly enjoyed the planning process with them and it certainly led to an extremely enjoyable event for all attending!
The appetizers and dinner choices were outstanding!!!!!!!!!!! The presentation by both the kitchen staff and the servers was exquisite to say the least! Best filet mignon that my husband and I have ever had! We appreciated the availability of wine upgrades. We received many positive comments form our guests! Wish we could do it again!!

i had my wedding ceremony and reception here. I worked with Kelly Giger the whole time who is the catering manager. She was amazing. My husband and i chose the sheraton because of the amazing view we had during our reception in the reflections room. It is a room full of windows that overlook the city. Besides the view, the sheraton accommodated us in every need. The staff was so nice and helpful, the food was amazing, and everything was so easy. Kelly really helped us the entire year leading up to the event. I couldnt have asked for a better venue!

Our wedding reception at the Sheraton Station Square was better than I could have ever imagined. The staff at the Sheraton were amazing and did everything in their power to make our day perfect. Our reception was held in the Reflections Room and Admiral Room - it is hands down the most beautiful venue in the city - the backdrop of our wedding recent was the city of Pittsburgh - beautiful! Also, the food was delicious - we received an endless number of compliments from our guests. In my opinion, the Sheraton Station Square is the number one spot for wedding receptions in Pittsburgh!

Our wedding was at the Sheraton in Station Square in Pittsburgh. It was absolutely amazing! Eric Bowman was my consultant from the hotel and was very helpful. He was able to handle all of our questions and made our day very smooth and enjoyable. The food was excellent and the service was even bette! I would recommend this venue to any bride and groom that want to have an amazing time and view for their guests.

Catering department awesome at listening and accommodating all our needs

Having our wedding reception at the Sheraton Station Square was one of the best choices for our day. The entire staff from the doormen, to the front desk, to the entire Sale and Catering staff are 100% professional and easy to work with. They make every request you have seem like no problem at all. The location is great for out of town guests who don't know the area well. Our entire reception went smoothly and without any incident because of their staff.

We had our reception in the Reflections/Admiral Room. The cocktail hour and dancing were in the Reflections Room and dinner in the Admiral Room. It is GORGEOUS in these rooms! The staff are attentive and the food is AMAZING! We worked with Madeline Kelly and she turned our dream wedding into a reality! Would 100% recommend the Sheraton Station Square!

From the first time I visited the Sheraton, I loved the view of downtown Pittsburgh across the river and knew it was a great fit for us. Enjoyed working with Eric and his staff. The fact the wedding package included the food, alcohol and cake made it easier for me to plan the wedding myself. Enjoyed having ceremony and reception in one location.

The sheraton was absolutely wonderful. They were so helpful anytime we have a concern or question. Our server introduced herself to us at the beginning of the night and let us know if we needed anything to let her know. The banquest manager introduced himself to our parents and let them know if they needed anything to let them know. All of our guest lodged here also and there wasnt a complaint to be heard. We loved everything! We couldnt have asked for more!

The Sheraton Station Square Hotel was the perfect lodging location for our guests! It was about five minutes away from the ceremony and reception site, which made transporting guests back and forth so easy! The gorgeous bar and lobby of the hotel gave us great locations for some photos. The guest services were so attentive to me and my husband, making sure that everything we needed/requested was taken care of promptly. Our room was comfortable, had a great view, and was the perfect spot to get ready for my wedding. I would recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Pittsburgh, but especially for room-block purposes for your upcoming wedding!

We had the best experience with the Sheraton Station Square. Our wedding coordinator was awesome. He took very good care of us. He was responsive and very flexible. Everything ran very smooth. His team was great as well.

I really didn't have to do a thing, they took care of everything. As we needed addtional rooms, there was not a problem with adding them at the discounted rate.

Most of our guests were from out of town, it was wonderful venue to showcase the beauty of my home town.

Simply put, they made me princess for a day. There was not detail left out and no request too large, I have had at least 50 people tell me this was the best wedding they were ever at and I attribute much of this to the Sheraton. THANK YOU!! :)

I cannot say enough good things about the Sheraton Pittsburgh Hotel at Station Square! I was a bride that did not want to have all that DIY stuff or worry about anything on my special wedding day, and the Sheraton made this absolutely possible! We are so glad that we chose the Sheraton for our 8.11.18 wedding reception! Everything was gorgeous! The staff was awesome! The director of catering, Courtney, was there every step of the way, making sure everything we wanted became a reality. She was very present, answered every question and was well organized. The staff that tended us at the reception could not have been more attentive to our guests! They checked on us frequently and ensured we had everything we needed! Every time I finished my signature wedding drink – vodka and tonic with lime – they immediately handed me another haha it was great! The food was so good and we received so many compliments from our guests about how delicious the food was! The cake was exquisite (thanks to Bethel Bakery)! We loved how the venue space was set up! The Pittsburgh Cookie Table was spectacular and it was a huge hit with everyone!! I loved how perfectly they set it up! We could go on and on! Not one thing went wrong, and if it did – I didn’t know about it and they just took care of it! Everything was simply stunning and we would highly recommend the Sheraton for a wedding event! We recently had our wedding reception at the Sheraton Station Square in the Reflections Room. The room has a beautiful view of the city and is the reason why we chose it. Our reception had 159 people and the room comfortably holds 165 (could probably fit more - around 175, but would be tight). The staff of the Sheraton was wonderful to work with. They made sure that everything was perfect the day of the event and it really was! We had no problems and could not have asked for a better, stress-free day. We were able to use the Admiral room for our cocktail hour (since we found out closer to the date that this room was not being used) and it is actually a larger reception room. They worked with us to meet all of our needs. We also had a lot of family from out of town and required more than our allotted block of rooms for a holiday weekend. The hotel worked with us to provide rooms for each of our guests at our group rate.

A few things to keep in mind - there are minimums for each of the reception rooms (but we were fully aware of this prior to booking), a Bethel Bakery cake is included in the package (there is another bakery as an option, but I LOVE Bethel Bakery), you are charged the highest price for all of the plated meals (again we were fully aware of this prior to booking and chose accordingly). The package provided by the hotel is pretty all inclusive. All of the tableware, linens, food, drink, cake, room for bride and groom, etc. This was nice for us since we were planning from a different state and I didn't have a specific "vision" for these things. You are able to make changes and they are flexible with individual ideas, but it was nice for us since it was already taken care of and we didn't need to contact other vendors for these things. The location is also great. We were able to end the reception on time and go to a local bar to continue the party (this saved us some money in the end!) We had a perfect day and I would not have changed anything!!!

My husband and I could not have been happier with our choice to have our wedding at the Sheraton! From the first time we met with Jen I knew she would do a wonderful job organizing and handling every aspect of the wedding and I was not disappointed! The hotel itself is beautiful and every single employee I came in contact with during the whole process was wonderful! The whole wedding weekend went off without any sort of issue and it was for sure one of the best experiences our family have ever had! Like any other nice hotel downtown, it can be pricey but, the costs are made very apparent from the very beginning.
The package deals are great since it can really guide you through the process if your don't have particular venders in mind. The cake from Bethal Bakery was amazing and we also got a grooms cake from them which was even better! We chose to use Betis Floral (recommeded by Jen) and that was another great decision. Sherry (with Betis) knows every room of the Sheraton like the back of her hand and comes up with ideas I would have never dreamed of.
The only aspect of the whole thing we were slightly disappointed in was that my husband & I, parents and guest who stayed at the hotel had to pay for parking. Specifically my us and my parents who combined obviously just spent a lot of $$$ at the hotel. My husband and I checked in Friday and when we left Sunday morning had to pay $40 in parking for the Sheraton's lot. Disappointing but not enough to ruin our wonderful weekend!

My wife and I were very pleased with our wedding reception at the Sheraton Station Square Hotel. The food, service and facility were all of high quality. Ninety-nine percent of our guests were from out of town and thus, stayed at the Sheraton Station Square the night of our wedding reception. Our guests were impressed with the Sheraton's newly renovated guest rooms. In addition, the staff at the Sheraton was first-class. Everyone was friendly and provided the highest level of customer service. Most important, our wedding coordinator, Allison Perciavalle was outstanding. Her level of professionalism, attention to detail and friendliness added value to our wedding - and she adds value to the Sheraton Station Square. Our wedding was extremely well-organized and everything we had planned with Allison was executed perfectly. If you are going to have your wedding at the Sheraton Station Square, specifically request to work with Allison- you will not be disappointed. I had really good communication with Amber. She was really great when I met with her for my tour & I think having a coordinator who is upbeat and a go-getter is super important. The ballroom was very big- you could do half of it or take the whole thing with pillars in between it. The river view is truly something else. I'm a city girl so it seemed perfect to me. The hotel is a little outdated, the hotel rooms probably need updated, the bridal room was not great. I think that part put me off a bit as I love something more modern. Amber was accommodating, made sure I knew that they could do whatever I wanted. Offered a free late night snack; said they could get whatever alcohol we wanted for the bridal party. The ultimate reason we didn't go with this place was that they only had one date available in the fall until late November and that wasn't what we wanted.

Allison and her staff were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable through the entire process. We had visited a few reception sites but had an inkling, even before we visited the Sheraton, that it might be the one that most met our needs. However, after our visit we were blown away and felt really good about choosing the Sheraton. We were new to planning an event on this grand of a scale but Allison and Fallon were really great about giving us advice and guidance while also respecting our wishes for the wedding reception. They were very flexible and were great about explaining things to us whether it be one of their processes or a minor detail. They never hesitated to answer our questions honestly and we really felt like they had our best interest which made us very comfortable doing business with them. It was truly a special day and weekend and have them to thank for that!

This was a terrific place to host a wedding and Allyson did a terrific job in helping plan this event. I highly recommend this venue for anyone hosting such an event. The entire process was simplified by the great service. I cannot think of one bad thing to say about the entire event. The wedding was on the larger size and the room and staff served without any errors. I still have friends and family complimenting on the place and the service. I think that says it all.

We had our big fat Indian wedding and reception at this hotel! I had my heart set on the Sheraton Station Square as, to me, its location was prime for showcasing the city of Pittsburgh (a lot of our guests were from out of town), and with plenty of fun activities nearby (we had a large cohort of guests in their 20s-30s who came ready to party)! We worked with Eric Bowman, who, while sometimes difficult to pin down/reach with our questions/requests, did his best to be flexible and accommodating. He developed a good relationship with my family, and was very respectful. The venue was pricey (especially for the number of events, rooms, and days we needed), but more reasonable than other downtown Pittsburgh venues. Eric did his best to bring down the room rate-- this was very important to us, as a lot of our guests were coming from out of town. Side note-- the location allowed for an awesome baraat (groom's procession) through Station Square! Overall, the wedding turned out beautifully and our guests had a BLAST, so we thank the Sheraton for helping us create awesome memories :)

Everything went off without a hitch. Quality was excellent. Responsiveness received 4 stars because we felt most of the involvement was on our own merit instead of being helped along with what to do. It got very stressful with long email delays in responses and returned calls. Excellent professionalism and the value was great for what we spend. Flexibility received 4 stars because there were lapses in communication that stressed us out. Our vendor's attitude was excellent as well. Not one problem.

The Sheraton was great to work with - they were professional, efficient, and took care of everything. As with any big hotel package, we lacked a little flexibility and the prices were a bit high, but the ease of the day and the way things turned out made up for it!

The facility was beautiful and provided a perfect venue for our reception.

Jennifer is great. Got a lot of compliments on being a great location, and flow for the wedding (had both the reception and ceremony at hotel).

Food was good, accommodated special requests. Overall, a good experience. One -stop shopping, as you have a wedding planner and package deal so you don't have to deal with multiple vendors like caterers, and bartenders, etc. Worked out well for me being super busy.

Waterfront/Reflections rooms are really the only way to go. Looks beautiful at night, and if you have to wait to get those rooms I would recommend. They are amazing, and really no decor (other than centerpieces) are really necessary.

Cake is included through Bethel Bakery - amazing. Got a ton of compliments.

Guests had a great time. Great location for out of town guests.

The hotel on the other hand is a different story. Had many - many problems with the hotel block. Hotel rooms are in desperate need of a refurbish.

Ceremony was held on the patio. Nice. But make sure they turn off their own music speakers!

We had our wedding reception here in May. The reception area was exactly what we were looking for, a room right on the water with views of the city. The food was actually pretty good, and had a good selection to choose from. The staff was very accommodating in allowing us to make changes to some things. They were also fairly easily to get in touch with regarding any questions we had. My only complaint is that the various departments do not communicate well with each other. We had several problems with people making reservations under the wedding block, and still dealing with issues from the billing department.

The Sheraton and their Wedding Planners were fantastic. With having a crazy family, Jennifer was able to do what she could to help us out. Jennifer was very helpful with guiding me and my husband to make our day special. Everything was practically taliored to what we and our guests needed. I would encourage anyone getting married in Pittsburgh to go with the Sheraton. It was a great deal for exactly what we wanted. And the Bridal Suite is lovely.

Our wedding just passed on Oct 29,2016 and it was amazing! We had several hiccups at the beginning with staff members while we were planning the wedding however, Courtney came in as the new catering manager and assured us that our wedding will be everything we wanted and it was!
We cannot thank Courtney enough for going above and beyond for us! She came in and picked up where everything was left off and was just amazing. Very attentive and quick to respond. The staff was also great, food was amazing and the room decor was just beutiful. I had a detailed set up of how I wanted everything and it was perfect! Thank you so much for all your hard work! Our wedding was amazing.

We really loved our wedding at the Sheraton! Initially we didn't like the idea of a hotel because we thought it was a little ordinary, but then we realized just how helpful it is to have a coordinator like Courtney and a staff of people waiting to help you on the day! The planning process is straightforward, and Courtney is super responsive to questions and emails back, sometimes instantly! After the tasting, the kitchen was accommodating to some changes we requested (boneless chicken as opposed to bone-in and skinny asparagus instead of thick!) On the day of, it was so nice to have a suite with all of the appetizers and drinks we missed at the cocktail hour! Robbie, our banquet captain, was beyond helpful and sweet. There are only a few reasons I didn't give five stars. If you're from Pittsburgh and a cookie table is important to you, it's not the easiest part of the reception to organize here. You have to bring the cookies already trayed, they don't tray for you. That wouldn't be as much of an issue if they provided you a space to tray the cookies at the venue, but we had to have them trayed and then transport them, which we managed but it was BIG project, and difficult if you're coming from a far distance to not mess up the trays! If you're not having a ton of cookies it might not be a problem, but we did! Any other negatives would just be related to cost, we really wanted a steak option but they were crazy expensive (which is not unique to the Sheraton). I also think the menu could use a bit of an update (although the salmon was DELICIOUS!). But all in all, we were thrilled with our big day and it seems like our guests were too! As far as hotel options in the city, it's definitely a better value (but not cheap!)

The Waterfront and Reflections room was a fantastic view for a wedding. I do feel though the price was high, especially for renting a room for the ceremony. $1500 from 2-4 was way too much to charge especially when you are paying $25,000 for the wedding reception. I did get the taxable service charge of $300 deducted from the bill. I felt this was not a service but a rental of the room. The ceremony room should have been included in the package.

Although our wedding turned out to be absolutely PERFECT, the experience leading up to it was not. It was very difficult to get in touch with our wedding coordinator at the Sheraton, which led to a lot of unnecessary stress. The cost of the wedding was very expensive so we kind of expected to be a number one priority, not just a number. Another stressful thing was that I attempted to check in early 3 times the day before our wedding. At 11:30 I was told that check out was at 12, so I asked if they could clean my room first. I called again at 1:30 and the room still wasn't ready, yet other members of my family were already checking into theirs. It's very frustrating to drop that amount of money and they hotel doesn't even bat and eye at you. Finally we got checked in to realize the AC was broken. Thank you again, Sheraton, for setting up the Bride in a defective room. After multiple phone calls to the front desk, their big solution was to bring up a giant carpet drying fan that blew dust bunnies all over our room. Needless to say, 4 hours of sleep is not enough. After hassling them some more, we were given a conference room to get our hair done in. FINALLY the AC was fixed just before it was time to actually get dressed.
But again, our wedding event was absolutely perfect and we all had a fantastic time. So it's hard to stay mad. But they really need to work on customer service.
One last gripe. When you ask them to box up yours and the grooms dinner because you hardly touched a bite (and ask them to put it in your room fridge) double check to make sure they actually do it. Our filets and shrimp sat out all night on a cart that they wheeled into our room and left in the middle of the floor (along with other wedding stuff so the food was not noticed) so we did not really get to eat our wedding meals..

I was extremely disappointed with the wedding coordinator I had for our day. Major parts of our ceremony and reception were ruined due to her failure to communicate and note details. She appeared to have it all together, and in the end was very scattered. She had made the comment people are afraid of her so they do what she wants - however, that was just a defense mechanism for her not having control.
