    Lauren K was excellent as a wedding planner! She listened to everything my husband and I wanted for our reception and made it possible! Reserving rooms, wait staff, everyone was excellent!

    The Wyndham-Lisle is a top notch place to have a wedding reception. The ballroom is gorgeous, the food was fantastic, and the wedding coordinator made the entire process very easy. I would definitely recommend the Wyndham-Lisle!

    I had my reception here and everything was PERFECT! Jean went over and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. She helped us set up all of our rentals, including lighting and linens, cake, sweet table, ice sculpture and food. The meal was delicious! She made sure that every detail was covered. Our day was perfect because of all of the hard work everyone at the hotel put into it.

    Below Average Hotel and Customer Service But Good Price Point

    Due to pretty much a nightmare of a time with venues due to COVID basically restricting our guest list and dance floor etc, we were recommended this venue by another venue that had to turn us away because they were imposed with some last minute COVID restrictions that made it impossible to have a decent wedding. The Sheraton is older and is not a 5 star hotel by any means but the event manager was also not the most responsive, but was very professional. However, the frustrating thing was when the event manager was requested to complete tasks by myself or my wife, things would be forgetten or omitted and my wife or myself would have to follow up repeatedly to make sure things got done right. This is very frustrating when you're planning a whole wedding without the aid of an event planner that can do this for you. However, the price point of the hotel was VERY cheap and the food was decent. But we did have to spend a lot of money to decorate our ballroom due to the airwall being badly soiled and damaged. Our guests raved about our decorations but really it was because we were trying to hide the issues we saw prior to any decor being placed. If you're looking to not spend a lot of money on the venue itself but are prepared to micro-manage the hotel event manager to make sure they do exactly what you want, then by all means pick this place, but otherwise, recommend going somewhere else to save yourself the headache.

    There is a manager for everything, but I don't think any of these managers ever communicate. One manager, a sales manager, told me that I could get an early check in, but when I went o the hotel to confirm 3 days later, another manager, the front desk manager, said it was impossible since they were 100% booked. Booked or not, check out is at 11, so why couldn't they attempt to clean my room first and allow me in at 1? Their transportation manager scheduled a 2:30 shuttle for my bridesmaids, but when it came time to get on the shuttle, the font desk manager said he knew nothing about it. After much argument and me pulling up the confirmation e-mail from the transportation manager, we were provided the shuttle that couldn't clear the awning at our venue but attempted to and caused some serious damage. This shuttle was set to pick up the groomsmen next. Needless to say, they were very late arriving because they had no ride. The shuttles that were set to pick our guests up at the end of evening only came because one of our groomsmen's wifes called after they were late. If you want to avoid any added stress on your wedding day, avoid the Wyndham!

    I am very disappointed my experience with the Sheraton. We sent several emails and made several phone calls almost 2 months trying to request information about a hotel block, possible wedding ceremony location and touring the facility. I finally made some headway through the Knot, however, the the communication was still slow. Then, finally I received an emailing stating they were not able to accomate us, becasue they had already booked the space. Very poor customer service.
Responds within 24 hours
