We got married at the Sheraton Kauai and the day could not have been more epic. Besides the absolutely gorgeous venue overlooking the ocean, the Event Manager Mindy and Sales Director Chelsea were a joy to work with from the initial meeting all the way through the event wrap up. They are lovely people, and made the job of planning a wedding easy and fun! Many of our guests said it was the best wedding they'd ever been to, and thought the food was fantastic as well. Our guests felt welcomed and taken care of by all of the resort staff. Truly, if I could give the Sheraton Kauai, Mindy and Chelsea more than 5 stars, I would!

Mindy and the rest of the team did a phenomenal job helping me plan my wedding here. From our meetings leading up to the wedding to the events everything was amazing. They went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly from check in to check out. The venue itself is beautiful, food was exceptional and the staff was like family by the end of the trip. We absolutely loved having all of our family and friends at the venue for the whole trip. We had our welcome party and rehearsal here as well. It was the best day thanks to the Sheraton and all my amazing vendors!

I am so happy I chose Sheraton Kauai Resort for my wedding! From the breathtaking location to the eager-to-help staff, everything was like a fairytale and so absolutely perfect, it seems like a dream. First of all, Chelsea was amazing to deal with. She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Being from Arizona, and trying to plan a wedding on Kauai is so nerve-wracking. Chelsea made it a breeze. She walked us through from the reception area (Luana Kai room) to the ceremony location (Ocean Point) via video chat - not once - but twice because my mom's call dropped. She was always there to answer any questions we had! Mindy was absolutely incredible. It's no wonder she wins awards for being in the top 1% of Event Managers in North America! I can absolutely see why. From helping with extending our stay at the resort to helping us with the food & beverage selections and answering all of our (many) questions, working with Mindy was amazing. She made everything seamless. Both Mindy and Chelsea were at our rehearsal as well as the wedding. We couldn't have asked for more. I can't forget to mention Austin! If Mindy was out of the office, Austin was there to help with everything. We were given his personal phone number (and we definitely used it)! He was prompt in answering our many questions, whether it be where to dine, how to purchase one of their buttery Sheraton robes, or what the checkout procedure was when leaving for a super early flight. Austin even responded when he was out of the office one day, which I did not expect, but truly appreciated. My husband Jason and I would like to thank Chelsea, Mindy and Austin for going above and beyond with everything. We walked into our Deluxe Ocean Front Suite and were so happy to see the word "ALOHA" spelled out in seashell necklaces, swan towel art, and a beautiful view of our ceremony location (Ocean Point). We thoroughly enjoyed all the resort had to offer. One night, after lounging in the jacuzzi hot tub, we came back to our room to see a bottle of red wine on ice, two wine glasses, a bag of charcuterie-type snacks, and a lovely card written to "Mr. & Mrs. LeJeune", signed by Mindy, Chelsea & Austin. What a sweet surprise that was. I could go on and on about how perfect our wedding & entire week was. I am so truly grateful for you three, and all of the accommodating staff at the Sheraton for making our wedding & honeymoon dreams come true. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

We had the most amazing and stress-free experience at SKR! Chelsey and Mindy were very responsive and helpful throughout the process. The location is absolutely beautiful and well-maintained. We really appreciated that they blocked off the venue to make it more private. The food at RumFirewas wonderful and they had a great menu for beverages and wine. The whole staff, but especially Mindy, was very accommodating and really helped us celebrate the occasion!

The wedding package was very affordable and soo worth it, and everything was better than I imagined!

I had my wedding at the Sheraton Kauai on May 28th, 2023 and I can’t recommend this venue enough! Everyone was not only extremely professional, but warm and inviting. It was almost like being welcomed by family. To my point of contact Mindy and to my bartenders, servers and other staff at the reception dinner: THANK YOU. You all gave me my dream wedding and I can’t thank you enough. I highly recommend the Sheraton to any bride who is looking for an amazing destination wedding venue!

We were so pleased with the help in planning, the service we received, the delicious food and the helpful onsite staff for our outdoor wedding rehearsal dinner.
Mindy, the event manager, provided an immediate solution to sound system issues we experienced until that vendor was able to arrive and fix things.
What was so amazing was how EASY everything was in getting room blocks, prepping for the dinner and having a good time.
The outdoor setting was terrific and so beautiful. The beach, the palm trees, the sunset.
Everything was worth every dime we paid.

We had the most beautiful wedding at this venue. It was a gorgeous setting with lava rocks & an ocean backdrop. My favorite part of this location was the intimate setting away from beach goers. They taped it off, set up chairs & a water station, and had a bridal entry area. Mindy Rosser was the BEST to work with. She communicated well every step of the way & the day of the event was fabulous! We had a dinner at Rumfire with delicious food & excellent service. The Sheraton treated us special on arrival, the package included rooms & other perks which we loved. You have to contract with a wedding planner separately for the officiant, photography, music, florals, etc. But that was easy also. We LOVED our wedding In beautiful Kauai at the Sheraton!

Of all the places we looked at on the island, we are So incredibly grateful that we chose to have our wedding at Sheraton Kauai. They had really good wedding packages that fit perfectly into our budget. We had our wedding at their Ocean Lawn, which had such beautiful views of the beach and ocean and sky... and it was spacious enough to handle all our guests. It was private enough as well, and the hotel got us the suite at the ground floor overlooking the beach and the lawn for our ceremony. It was perfect because it was the room I came out of when it was time for my bridal walk down the aisle. Chelsea and Ashley, the event coordinators for the hotel were very helpful and professional as well. We had the ceremony at Rumfire, Sheraton's restaurant that was so close to the Ocean Lawn. This was great because we didn't have to worry about transporting 150 guests from the ceremony lawn to the reception. The food at Rumfire was fantastic. People were still talking about it even weeks after the wedding. This was one of the best decisions we've made for our special day.

My now husband proposed to me while at Ocean Point at the Sheraton Kauai Resort, one night after the luau. It was pitch black and I was guided there under the ruse of looking at the starts. When we went back the next morning, it hit me that it would be the perfect wedding spot for something small and low key.
Our original plan was to elope, but it quickly became evident, a few family and friends were going to be joining us regardless, so I needed to plan something a little more involved.
The non-negotiable was getting married on the property's Ocean Point. I knew I wanted a dinner for our guests, but wanted to take advantage of the beautiful scenery. The team worked with me and got creative to host a dinner on the restaurant's lawn which was something fairly new for them.
In all, the whole process was pretty easy! Once booked, we checked in at the 90 day mark to make meal selections, and at the 30 day mark to confirm headcount and choices! And you have to love an event coordinator, who keeps emailing you all along the way on how to potentially save a few dollars!
What most impressed me most and will forever stay with me, is just how special I was made to feel. I knew a 14 person wedding was a small blip in the annual revenue plan, but I was made to feel that my small, intimate wedding was just as important as a 150 guest wedding! The attentiveness and care will stay with me as one of the most special memories of my wedding week.

My husband and I stayed at the Sheraton Kauai for our honeymoon. It was so beautiful! They gave us free drink vouchers for poolside service and also free champagne! They were so nice that they upgraded us to a king size bed because AAA booked two queens (not fun for a honeymoon :-) )The atmosphere was so relaxing. The valet parking guys were awesome, funny, and helpful. And I wish I could recall her name but the woman at the concierge desk was amazing..she got us reservations at the restaurants we wanted (even the day of! which was rare even to her :-) ) Room service was very quick and very nice! They also offered wonderful activities, we would both recommend Michael and the tide pools (the kid knows his stuff!!)! We were able to book a few of our tours right there in the hotel as well with the tour/planning desk and the woman we worked with was so wonderful. Stay at this hotel if you want an awesome experience!

We cannot thank Mindy and Chelsea at the Sheraton enough for their incredible support throughout our wedding journey. From the very beginning, Mindy made the planning process feel structured and stress-free, handling every detail (including the safe delivery and coordination of my personal decor boxes) with such care.




On the day of the event, Chelsea was a total rockstar. When we ran into a temperature issue in the room, she handled it so quickly and professionally that it didn't even have a chance to become a stressor. As someone who is quite 'Type A,' I was blown away by how much I was able to just let go and trust them. They are a powerhouse team who truly care about their couples. If you want to feel completely taken care of on your big day, Mindy and Chelsea are the ones you want in your corner!

We also had our dinner on-site at the RumFire Private Dining Room which we were VERY impressed with. Great views, great service, amazing food & beverages - 1000% recommend this for your wedding dinner.

Our ONLY complaint was the steep hill to walk down at the Ocean Point ceremony location as the aisle. It was a bit difficult to navigate & unexpected, but the gorgeous ocean views and Sheraton team made up for this!

Sheraton Kauai Resort was absolutely amazing! I am a first time bride at 48! I searched and searched for the perfect venue 😩. The staff and team was sooo helpful with my 1001 questions.

The venue was spectacular and the views was breathtaking!
The staff was friendly and very helpful.
The Oceanfront rooom was big and comfortable. Being able to walk out your room and see such an amazing view was so amazing. We spent many days watching the sunrise and sunset 🌅 which was life changing. It sooo peaceful and romantic.

The food at the reception was soooooo delicious my guest are still talking about the food! Everyone was sooo friendly and helpful.

I was honestly uneasy with how things were going to pan out before arriving to Kauai. It was fairly difficult to keep in touch with them, as they were going through a few staffing changes. Also, there were a few misunderstandings prior to arrival. Once we were on the island, things ran smoothly. We used the ocean lawn as our ceremony location and had the reception across the street. It was a beautiful ceremony location! Overall, we were pleased with the professionalism and help we received from Suzanne.Thank you very much for a beautiful ceremony!

I had my wedding ceremony at the Sheraton Kauai Resort, and I would rate them an "F" as a wedding venue. I would HIGHLY SUGGEST that other brides NOT use the Sheraton’s event department for their wedding! Their communication was horrible, they broke promises in their contract, they were misleading with their description of the ceremony site, and their team added a great amount of stress and unnecessary extra work to my wedding planning. At one point, I had to send four emails and leave two voicemails for a month before I received a response to a simple question that my other vendors needed. Working with the Sheraton’s event department was a nightmare, and I would not suggest it to anyone. Another vendor that I worked with let me know that I am not alone. I was told that another bride had similar issues. The only thing I did love about the Sheraton is the beautiful view that we had during our wedding. The site is pretty and photographed very well. In the end, I sent a polite letter to the GM with details that I was unhappy about. He never apologized for any of the errors that occurred, which I found unprofessional. I would be happy to give specific details to anyone who would like more information. Ultimately, I would still pay more to send my business elsewhere unless major changes occur at the Sheraton.

I did have a WONDERFUL experience working with my reception site, Plantation Gardens. The team there was wonderful. I was thrilled that I did not do the reception at the Sheraton.
