Stephanie is THE BEST!
I wasn't even engaged yet when I reached out to Stephanie back in 2023 to inquire about their wedding packages. Despite knowing that, she took the time to provide us all the information we needed to prepare our budget for the future. We stayed in touch with her through the years and right after we got engaged, we immediately contacted her again. Although we had several other venues in mind, I just couldn't imagine working with anyone else but Stephanie. She was really the MAIN reason we decided to go with Sheraton! Stephanie was always responsive, thorough, and genuine to her clients. She made us feel special since day 1 that we contacted her through Wedding Wire. She even helped us when our rehearsal lunch venue canceled on us last minute and made sure I did not have to stress about anything.
Although there will always be times when things will not go the way we expected them to on the day of the wedding, Stephanie took care of it and handled everything with ease and provided us with the best that she could. She really made our day special and memorable - and for that, we will forever be grateful.
It was really easy to work with her and her amazing team! From the tour to the food tasting (my favorite one!) to the venue walkthrough to the detailed emails to the rehearsal to checking in on the day of. I was also privileged to work with their maitre'd Claudia who was SO HELPFUL throughout the event. We had Lemon Garlic Salmon and Maple-Bacon Glazed Chicken for our plated entrees and IT WAS SO DELICIOUS!!! Even the appetizers tasted superb, especially the Mini Crab Cakes. SBN also partners with Graul's Market for the wedding cake and I must say, they really did a great job in making the cake we asked them to with the inspo/ideas we showed them. SBN recently went through some renovations so it was perfect timing for our wedding. I had the privilege of getting ready in the new Presidential Suite while my husband was given a space to get ready with his groomsmen. I also love how the new rooms are more modern, chic, and minimalist.
Overall, SBN is the perfect place for an all-inclusive wedding package - we love how everything was taken care of from the room blocks/getting ready spaces, rehearsal space, rehearsal lunch/dinner, catering/cake, bar, servers, tables/chairs, linens/napkins, etc. Definitely recommend! I look forward to booking with them again for future events. :)-

Ashley is the MVP of my wedding! Hands down!
Ashley from Sheraton Baltimore North is amazing. She was so organized and thoughtful about the whole process. I could not have planned a wedding without her. If you book with her, you are in phenomenal hands! -

Ashley is Amazing!
This past weekend, the Sheraton Baltimore North hotel hosted the wedding my now wife and I have been planning with them for 10 months. Ashley, a member of the wedding and event planning team, worked with us every step of the way and was a large reason why we chose to book our wedding at this venue. Ashley responded adequately to emails we threw her way throughout the process and was very prompt in the final weeks in helping us make sure everything came together.
Using the Sheraton as the venue you need to be aware that you are required to use their catering team. Do not fear however as their lead chef is incredibly talented and will help you create a menu that will leave your guests talking about their meal for days, and the portion sizes are no joke.
A hotel as a venue wasn’t our first idea but as we explored options it made more and more sense. We were able to do our ceremony, reception and party at their bar afterwards. Then when guests couldn’t party anymore, they were just a short elevator ride away from their rooms. I would advise any couple who has families that like to drink to take a harder look at hotels as their wedding venue. It’s great to have the Sheraton be a “one-stop-shop” for all your wedding needs.
Thank you to Ashley and her supporting staff. You helped bring Christina and I’s vision to life. We’re endlessly thankful to have used your location as our venue.

Best Day Ever
What I loved about the Sheraton was that they were an all-in-one stop shop for my venue needs. They provided the catering, cake and decor. They allowed us to be as creative as possible with decor items that we were bringing in. And the food was amazing. Emily Buczynski was our event manager and she was great. She was always prompt with responding and she made sure that our night was the best one yet. -

Wonderful Experience
Jackie and her team made my wedding day a day to remember! The food was amazing, the wait staff was on point and the price point was more than fair for what each package offered. I would highly recommend this venue to all of the brides that I know.-

Book your next event at SBN!!!
Jackie and MacKenzie at the hotel were amazing. If I could give 1000 stars it still wouldnt be enough. From our initial meeting through the last minute of our reception, they were attentive, respectful and professional. We shared our vision for the day and they exceeded our expectations. -

Ashli was the main reason why our wedding was overall a success. She was always responsive any time of day or night. She was sweet enough to hand deliver me Starbucks on the morning of my wedding! I could not speak highly enough about Ashli. The only thing that stood out that did not go well was the numerous complaints about the timing of the food and how dry the food was - both the chicken and the steak. Our food as the bride and groom was also terrible. We would highly recommend Ashli and potentially the venue to other or host another party there only if permitted to have our own caterer. -

I truly do not know where to begin
Well let’s start with a shout out to Ashli White who did a phenomenal job on my wedding day 09022017.
My journey started with with Jacqueline, also a beautiful person, who had to pass me to Ashli to finish my contract. Well little did I know I was getting my very own Angel. She made sure that I experienced the Sheraton's Moto "What does the bride wants" so if you have a groomZilla Ashli White knows how to handle him with a soft voice and big Smile. She prevented any bridezilla/groomzilla mishaps.
Ashli wore many different hats that day. I was so blessed to had have her standing by my side. She was Filming (My Prayer w/ Bridesmaids); Being my Planner; Photographer; Time Keeper; Negotiator; Referee; Lost and Found (Vida) and Tailor mediator and a savor in a time of crisis (dress issues) . She even helped me get into my dress !!!!l OMG That's how awesome she is.
Wait there's more.. she posed me for every picture and bustled my dress before I took the floor to dance with my dad's.
Talk about "One Stop Shop" anything you need Ashli White has it all Photographer, DJ , "Up lights" (names on the wall) call her you won't be disappointed. Ashli is a professional in all areas and she gets an A Plus from me!!!

I started planning my wedding a year and a half in advance. My wedding planner was so AWESOME and a month before my wedding she had to move out of town. She did everything in her power to ensure that the planning of my wedding was completed before she turned it over to the next planner. I had such a wonderful time during the entire process that when it was all over I was sad. The staff was simply amazing, my wedding guest are still talking about the food, my wedding guest are still talking about how accommodating the Sheraton was. Having the ceremony and reception there was so convenient, and I miss going up to the Sheraton to discuss wedding plans every month. -

We had our wedding block here this past weekend. We also used the hotel for a hospitality suite, after party, and breakfast. Everything was excellent and the hotel looks great after being redone recently. All the staff was very professional and friendly. Great location and reasonably priced rooms for the wedding block. -

Married on 10/24/15 and everything was perfect! From the moment we met with our coordinator April Rose we knew the Sheraton was the place we wanted to be married! She planned and coordinated our wedding with ease and even had to do another wedding at the same time, now that's passion for that field of work I don't know how she does it! The food, rooms...everything that is involved with a wedding was amazing! Just wish the day hadn't gone so fast! -

The Sheraton Baltimore North was the perfect place to have our wedding reception. Our wedding specialist, Shannon Welihan, was so on top of everything that we didn’t feel like we needed a wedding planner. She worked with us to find a time and menu that would fit our tight budget. She also had a really nice monthly payment plan that relieved of us of having to pay a large sum at any one time. We really appreciated that the venue was all-inclusive, and that all we had to do was drop off decorations the day before and everything was set up for us when the guests arrived. The Sheraton’s food was incredible - we taste tested many delicious options and were so impressed that they tasted every bit as good, if not better on our wedding day! We loved the affordability of the menu and how the chef worked with us on what dishes we wanted and some of the guests dietary restrictions, at no extra cost. The Warfield Ballroom looked gorgeous when we arrived. Shannon did a great job of making sure everything went according to plan. Our complimentary room on our wedding night was the icing on the cake - we really enjoyed our stay and the complimentary breakfast the next morning. We were so impressed with everything the Sheraton did to make our day special and would definitely recommend them! -

The Sheraton North Baltimore provided us with a beautiful and newly renovated ballroom for our daughter's wedding. Shannon, in the wedding coordinators office of the Sheraton, made the day just what we hoped for. During the planning process she was available, flexible and responsive to requests and inquiries. Every phone call, email and personal visit received a 'can do' attitude from Shannon and the staff at the hotel. The food and beverage manager was especially helpful and accommodating with special requests.
The majority of the guests stayed at the hotel and were pleased with the rooms and especially pleased with the hotel staff.
The beauty and elegance of the cocktail hour and the ballroom for the reception set the tone for a wonderful evening. The staff for the evening were attentive and professional. I highly recommend the Sheraton North Baltimore. -

I cannot say enough about the Towson Sheraton. They made planning so easy- it was not stressful at all. The wedding consultant was available by email and even gave me her cell number. We also met in person several times.
I had a 200 person wedding, which they easily accommodated. They set up everything for me on the day of and it was beautiful. All I had to do was show up.
The staff and wedding consultant were amazing. I felt like a princess all day- everyone was helpful and seemed genuinely happy to be there.
The bridal suite was lovely and the staff even brought all of my gifts and bags to the room ahead of time. At the end of the reception, they handed me the key card. Could not have been easier.
The food was incredible- no easy feat for a large wedding. I would 100% encourage every couple to use the Sheraton. You cannot go wrong.
It was the happiest day of my life and I am so, so grateful to the Sheraton for providing such wonderful service. -

We originally started out with another wedding consultant that I was not happy with. She consistently made me feel as though I was just another bride who she had to deal with. She was disrespectful to me and my family during our food tasting, and acted as though she had better places to be.
Then, less than two months before our wedding, our original consultant left, and Hope took her place. I could not have asked for a better person to work with us. Hope Sulerzyski was extremely professional, helpful, and efficient. She went above and beyond the "call of duty" and played a key role in making my wedding spectacular. Baltimore Sheraton North- you have found yourself an amazing employee! -

My husband and I selected this as the location for our wedding. At first we started with a different Wedding Specialist, but the new specialist, Robyn was GREAT!!! With all the emails that were sent, she always responded in responsible amount of time. My husband and I did a lot of DIY projects, so when we saw all of them at the wedding, Robyn and the staff did an excellent job with putting them all where we wanted and few in even better spots then we could imagined. The food was excellent as well. The food was exactly the way it was when we had the food tasting a few months before. The location is great for guests that are from out of town. There is so much to do that if your wedding is later in the afternoon or evening your guests will have things to do. Our families were very impressed with everything especially Robyn and the staff at the hotel. My husband and I did not have to worry about anything. Everything went way better than we could have imagined. So for any couple that is on here and wants to know: THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE!!!! -

So I got married October 27, 2012 at The Sheraton Baltimore North Hotel and I could not have had a better experience. I worked with Robyn Hinkey and she was fantastic, she worked with me and helped me plan and make my dream come true. She was with me through the whole day, anything i needed they got for me. The food was AMAZING everything came out hot and fresh. Out of all the venues we looked at they offered everything we wanted and was well within budget. terrific job. -

We were lucky enough to have Robyn Hinkey as our wedding coordinator and she was absolutely fantastic! Robyn listened to our vision for the wedding and provided unique solutions to make our reception the wedding of our dreams. She was also extremely organized and attentive. Anytime we had a question or concern, she immediately responded and resolved the matter at hand.... Even up to the day of the wedding. She was so sweet, friendly, and professional and I would recommend her and the Sheraton to anyone I know. The Sheraton was also a great value for the wedding packages they offer. Melissa was our Maitre' D and she was so sweet and fabulous too the night of the reception... She made sure all our stuff, gifts, etc., made it to our room and she even had desert, fruit, and cheese waiting in our suite for us (since we didn't get to eat any during the reception). Their packages are virtually all inclusive which makes wedding reception planning significantly stress and hassle free. -

The staff at the Sheraton Baltimore North were outstanding. They were all very friendly and so easy to work with. They were always available for anything that we needed and were always willing to meet and very flexible with our busy schedule. The day of the event they staff was very organized and made sure everything their and all the other vendors such as our outside caterer, videographer, photographer, and DJ were taken care of and coordinated well together. Our evening turned out even better than we could have hoped for and that was in a large part to the great wedding staff at the Sheraton Baltimore North. -

We recently had our wedding at the Sheraton in Towson in May 2011. We had our ceremony in the courtyard and the reception in Warfield’s in the evening. A note on the courtyard, it is shared between the Sheraton and another company. So just keep in mind that they need permission to use that for any event. Anyways, we actually went through 3 different Sheraton wedding planners over the course of a year due to turnover in their department. We made sure to get everything in writing and had follow up meetings to avoid any issues.
Despite the turnover, everything went smoothly on our wedding day. They were very accommodating throughout the whole planning process as well as on the big day itself. They closed the bottom road and coned off the courtyard entrances to the garage so no vehicles could come through during our ceremony. They had flowers they recently planted in the circle and they also removed all no parking signs, trash cans...ect.
As I mentioned before, the Warfield’s room was where we held our reception and cocktail hour. Everything was setup very nicely and accommodated our 130 people very well. I think you could get even more in there if you had to but it was comfortable with our amount of people. They also had a person from their event planning department there for us all night who helped keep things organized. They were thoughtful enough to send a couple pieces of cake upstairs to our room as well as a sandwich in case we got hungry late into the night. Very nice service!
Overall it was a great experience. They staff was very helpful, prices reasonable, and the hotel beautiful! There was at least 1 other wedding/event happening that day but we didn't notice a thing. We love their blue walls as backdrops for our pictures, and the koi pond and green leaves on the trees made a wonderful contrast to the brick buildings for our pictures and ceremony! We would definitely recommend this place to everyone. It was just so convenient to have the ceremony and reception in the same location. No driving back and forth, just straight to the party after the ceremony. Good luck finding your place and definitely consider this place to host your wedding.

We just had our wedding there and the Sheraton in Towson was really a great choice. The venue was perfect, the prices were very affordable and the staff was fabulous. I really have no complaints. We enjoyed the food and partied the night away. the after party at the hotel bar was also an added bonus. Hotel rooms are spacious and well kept. If you need a place for a wedding definitely check this place out......and ask for Katie....she did a great job for us and kept us stress free for the whole night.....which is big. -

We had an excellent experience with the Towson Sheraton! Everything went very smoothly - I couldn't have asked for a better experience! We were slightly concerned when we found out that the wedding coordinator that we had been working with was no longer working at the Sheraton three months before the wedding - but Anna Marie was a more then adequate replacement! -

From our first inquiry regarding a free consultation all the way through to the forgotten item left at the venue, the Sheraton Baltimore North Hotel has been an essential in our wedding planning. Their team of Banquet Managers and Captains, Wedding Specialist, Chef and Cooks, and Maitre'd guided us through everything we needed to make our big day spectacular. They offered helpful tips, tricks, ideas, and anything else I could possibly want. The food was amazing, the presentation was beautiful, all making for a great night that everyone has said they enjoyed! The staff at the Sheraton in Towson (including the Front Desk, Restaurant, Bartenders, Bellmen, etc.) went above and beyond and made our special day flawless! I highly recommend this venue! -

Disregard the old reviews for the Sheraton! The current staff working there is amazing. Heather worked with us until we signed the contract and she was very easy to get in touch with and very flexible in terms of what elements of the reception we wanted to include (e.g. we only ended up doing one hour open bar) and very willing to price out all our options. After we signed Anna Marie was our wedding coordinator and she was great! She was very quick to answer all my questions via email (usually the same day) and was vigilant about double checking all our details. All in all the Sheraton's package was great - the food was tasty and easily modified to suit (e.g. less salt in the sauce), the room for the night-of was super convenient and having a maitre d' the day of was fantastic! She took care of everything from getting me water to finding family members for corsages. We ended up spending more on food than we had hoped, but the prices were still far more competitive than anything else we looked at. -

Roll out the red carpet! From the beginning when we booked this venue back in 2015 we were treated like royalty. If you are looking for a one stop shop so that you can rest easy during wedding planning than please book this vendor! Although we did have a change of 3 wedding specialists throughout the course of planning, the details were not lost in the mix. In the end we ended up working with Rachel Coffin who was down to earth and on top of the details for the day of the wedding. Included in our package was the ceremony site, linens, centerpieces, chair covers and sashes, napkins, you name it. For the most part all I had to do was communicate my vision and it was executed to a T! The ballroom was beautiful and the Sheraton staff went above and beyond to ensure that my husband and I were pleased during our big day. I also want to say that our maitre'd Veronica was my new best friend! Talk about not having to think. The day of the wedding she was at least 2 steps ahead of me and continued to check-in asking "What I needed/wanted?" even when I didn't know. All together what I appreciated most was everyone's ability to think ahead so that the day of our wedding was effortless, stressless, and we could sit back and enjoy ourselves! Highly recommend booking this vendor! -

My husband and I were married on 4/18/15 and had our reception at the Sheraton Baltimore North. This hotel also served as the host hotel for our out of town guests. From the moment my guests checked in, they raved about how accommodating the staff was and how nice everything was. We had the pleasure of working with April Rose for our banquet needs and Chris Pupillo for our guest room arrangements. I can't say enough about those two. I must have called and emailed the two of them at least 100 times and they were always patient and responsive. I never felt like I was bothering them. The moment I realized that April was a fellow Nittany Lion I knew we were in good hands!
This location is ideal for anyone who is looking for a one-stop shop where guests can stay and play. Thanks to the entire staff at the Sheraton Baltimore North for making our wedding day one we will NEVER forget. -

My rating is based entirely around our event coordinator at the Sheraton, Hope Sulerzyski. From the day that she started assisting my wife and I with the preparations for our wedding reception, we were blown away by her professionalism and her excitement in making the day special. She was very clear in the terms of our agreement for the reception and made sure to help us in any way possible. Getting a hold of Hope was always easy and at the end of our wedding day, we knew we couldn't have done it without her help.
We had good and bad experiences with the Sheraton overall. The catering staff was excellent. The sous chef met with us to come up with a unique set of meals to serve out guests and everything turned out great for the reception. Preparations in the ballroom and cocktail rooms were great, although we did have to pay a fee to get pipe and drape coverings for the doors behind the head table. The biggest issue we experienced was with the hotel booking staff. According to our contract, all guests had to book ONE MONTH IN ADVANCE before the rooms we blocked went to the general public. That was really disappointing considering most guests wouldn't book until they were absolutely sure they could make the wedding, usually 2-3 weeks in advance. Some of our guests had trouble even booking a room more than a month out. I would give their portion of the service 2/5.
Aside from the hotel issues, we greatly appreciated having Hope around and would certainly recommend her services to anyone interested. -

The Sheraton really went above and beyond!
On the wedding day, from start to finish, everything went according to plan and the experience exceeded my expectations. The guests ended up arriving to the reception early and the cocktail hour was opened early for them, including the open bar! The appetizers were just as great as the night of our tasting and there were plenty provided so that everyone had their fill. The bartenders kept everyone's drinks filled and actually anticipated what guests were having after awhile. Dinner was exceptional, the steak was cooked perfectly and the flounder was delicious. Rob O'Neil was our wedding coordinator and helped set up the room so that I couldn't believe the transformation. The whole wedding was a great experience. Even my husband who didn't want a big wedding, kept saying what a fun time he had and how glad he was that we held the wedding at the Sheraton. Another guest told me that our wedding was the most elegant she's ever been to. Honestly, I can't think of anything that went wrong at the wedding and the Sheraton wouldn't even let us pay for the extra hour and a half of open bar they provided. They anticipated everyones needs and made sure that a fun time was had by all! -

The wedding staff at Sheraton Baltimore were just great. I marked some items 4.5 just because there is always room for growth but when it came to customer service and responsivenes, I'd give them a 10. We experienced the changing co-ordinators, but i have seen that happen to another bride at a different venue so I was prepared for this and saved all communications and agreements to pass on to the new co-ordinator. Up to the wedding day I was a bit worried about how things might go but they all (the cook, the maitre D, the waiters, the co-ordinator, their Boss Mr. Osama (its hard to forget that name) came through with flying colors.
My maitre d, was just awesome. She helped out soo much I thought I was going to work her to death and she did it all with a smile. I really appreciate her. My last co-ordinator Alexis was very nice and responsive as well. The cake lady (debi cake studio i think) was just excellent, very accomodating and did more than I expected. She designed the cake just the way we wanted it. I loved my CAKE! Had a few people asking me for her info. The cook was also accomodating, I changed a number of things in the entree and sent a custom receipe for the rice and it was done (he could have added some more hot pepper to the rice though :) ).
Overall I had a pleasant experience and I am very happy with the way every thing worked out. -

We had our ceremony and reception at the Sheraton Baltimore North Hotel. Overall, the experience was very positive. The staff was very responsive to all of our needs and requests. The Fitzgerald ballroom is beautiful and was perfect for our size reception (200 people.) The food was really good and they have options at all different price points. We were very happy with the responsiveness of the wedding coordinators (there were two different ones during our planning process.) Overall, definitely recommend! The only real hassle is that our final contract with all of the details needed to be revised about 10 times to get all the details exactly right, but everything turned out just as we wanted! -

We just had our wedding here on Friday and we loved it! The wedding staff was great, especially Ashli and Veronica. Ashli was my coordinator and she made sure everything went smoothly. She was reachable 24 -7, even with a new baby, and always made me feel comfortable. Even when I had my meltdowns, she calmed me and took care of everything! Our guests are STILL commenting on the delicious food, drinks, A+ service, and beautiful atmosphere.
The only confusion that we had was in the beginning when our wedding coordinator, Kelly, was not working well with us. She did end up going elsewhere because she was not up to the Sheraton's standards, which was nice to know that they had those high standards. Given the movement in staff, we were not informed about some of the parts of our contract that we should have been (such as the bar details, but Ashli worked with us and accommodated the misunderstandings with ease!
After our reception ended at 11, we all went to the hotel bar for an after party. We thought we would only stay for one drink and then hit the Towson bars, but we ended up closing the place down and spending more time in the foyer. Bride and groom drank for free at the bar after the wedding (HUGE surprise) and they were great! I wish they had more bartenders though, because another wedding party came in and the two bar tenders were SWAMPED.
In all, if you are looking for a nice venue for your wedding, definitely check out the Sheraton! My husband and I had a complimentary suite for the night, in which they left us strawberries, champagne, and our cake. Ashli and Veronica took everything to our room so we didn't need to worry about a thing! -

My wife and I planned our wedding in 6 months and had roughly 330 ppl invited. Finding a location was an issue especially for a summer month in such short time frame - when considering QoS, value and flexibility. Ceremony was in the courtyard which is beautiful during the summertime time, cocktail hour in the foyer, and reception in the large ballroom.
All in all it was a great experience, now I'll go into my details...
FLEXIBILITY. SBN was very flexible with our requests even up until the wedding day. We didn't have that many but those we had were accommodated where possible. I would recommend paying attention to your contract and making sure everything you want is specified to reduce unnecessary grievances.
VALUE. For what we wanted, comparing pricing, size/location, food, staff, value bordered on excellent. (Great chefs by the way - we impressed at the food tasting).
PROFESSIONALISM. Everyone I dealt with was professional without being "mechanical", which was good. I worked with three different people in the 6-month span. I know that stuff happens so it didn't concern me too much as long as there weren't any issues with unfavorable results I couldn't deal with -- there were none.
RESPONSIVENESS. People I worked with were pretty responsive except during one week when everyone was at training and I couldn't reach anyone and my "person" had just been switched. Other than that, the last coordinator I worked with, April, was pretty much on top of everything and response was very timely.
QUALITY OF SERVICE. The continuity of service from one wedding coordinator to the next went as follows (first to final person) great -> above average -> bordering on excellent. On the day of the wedding there were minor issues that occurred but they were remedied when brought to the attention of SBN. -

We had a Bat Mitzvah celebrated in Sheraton June 15th, 2013.
It was a success. I had people coming up to me and complementing on venue and food. Even though we had a slight hick up when our coordinator had changed, I have to mention that our new coordinator Robyn Dammers, who picked up our account in the middle of the process, was wonderful. She catered to our every need and was very accommodating. I liked how Sherator provides custormers with the Excell Spreadsheet where all the costs including all possible taxes are provided so there are no hidden costs, you know in the beginning exactly how much the event will cost. Staff was wonderful throughout the event. -

We used Sheraton North for our reception. Started our meeting with Katharine Fichter but ended up our last meeting with Robyn Hinkey. We had slight difficulties with communication betweeen the switch over but in the end they did pull through with the event. It was quite pricy for what you get but we ended up chosing the Sheraton North anyways for the convenience of set up, cake, catering, venue and location all in one. -

From the beginning of our engagement, me and my bride to be struggled with finding the perfect venue. That was until we found the Sheraton in Towson. I loved my experience with the Sheraton. We had both our ceremony (in the Lindsay Room) and our reception (in the Warfield's Ballroom) there. Both rooms comfortably fit our 80-ish guests. The rooms were perfectly set-up and the Sheraton displayed my DIY decorations beautifully. Our first wedding coordinator, Hope, left a few months before the wedding but our new coordinator, April, was also wonderful and the transition was seamless.
The day-of went wonderfully. My husband and the groomsmen planned on getting ready in the hotel room but when we couldn't check in early, April found them another room to get ready in. My husband wasn't happy with his entree, which he was especially disappointed about since we loved the tasting so much. We both agree that the appetizers were delicious and I personally liked my entree. My maitre d on the day-of was wonderful and really nice. Overall, we highly recommend. Our guests really enjoyed themselves, everything went smoothly, and the team was really helpful in helping us plan our day. -

Overall the Sheraton was great to work with. We had a few issues in the beginning because of the high turnover rate with the sales staff, but once we started working with April, she was amazing. Our only issue on the day of was that they booked another wedding in part of our room a few hours before, so our vendors were delayed getting into the room. -

Although our original wedding specialist left one month before our wedding date, everything that was passed on went smoothly. We had a "courtyard" ceremony, which I had been worried about since it's not very common, but it was beautiful! Everyone was very helpful and nice. The only thing I would change is the dinners were served very late. I feel like people were sitting for a very long time before they could eat! Overall, I'd highly recommend! -

So great! They provided us with a special room just for the wedding party to 'escape to' and assigned a wedding coordinator to us who was at our beck and call the whole night. Everything was taken care of so well! -

My husband and I held our reception at the Sheraton in Towson and everything was perfect. We had a personal assistant with us all day and was there for everything from directing us to where we had to go, timing, drinks and even helped when my bustle broke. We had a wedding of almost 250 people, which was nerve racking planning, but they made it very pain free. -

I really enjoyed my reception at the Sheraton. We did not have our ceremony there, just the reception.
I worked with 3 different people while planning my wedding, as the first 2 left the Sheraton during my wedding planning. The last person, Hope, took over about a month prior to the wedding, so I was a little nervous. She was great to work with and everything that had already been put in place was still in place. She was also just a nice bubbly personality to be around. She took great care of us.
I also liked that the hotel bar offered to stay open late for us. The bartender approached me after the wedding and said if the wedding party was interested in going to the hotel bar, he would stay open until 2 am. This was awesome, since we were planning a Towson bar crawl but I far preferred staying at the hotel. It seemed like this was his standard practice.
Overall, the Sheraton was great to work with and I loved my wedding. -

We were excited to work with the Sheraton North. We loved the ballroom and really like the wedding coordinator. Unfortunately, about four months before my wedding he left with very little notice and we were informed that he had left at one of the shows we had attended there. We set up a meeting with the new coordinator as well as the other coordinator, plus the Director of Sales and Marketing. We felt better, but were having some problems with consistency. So, then the chef left. We had to go for another tasting. By the time we got to the tasting, the new chef was gone! We were happy with the food and at this point were also working with the Hotel Manager. Between the new coordinator and the hotel manager, we were pretty happy with where we were headed. We had some minor issues with the AV people at the Sheraton getting back to us, but it ended up being to our benefit.
In the end, the day of was AMAZING and they went above and beyond to make sure the day ran smoothly and we had everything we were supposed to, PLUS MORE!! In the end, Nicole was a wonderful to work with and I would definitely go back again! -

We had a wonderful wedding reception at the Sheraton Baltimore North. Our maitre d', Debbie, made sure that everything ran smoothly. The food and cake were great, and there was plenty of space in the Warfield's ballroom for our 120 guests. The only problem we had was in the planning stages. The turn-over rate for wedding coordinators was very high. We worked with five different people over the course of a year. The change of staff was handled well, and our file was kept up-to-date. Everything went smoothly for us despite the fact that our coordinator resigned the week of our wedding. For brides that are very anxious, the staff turn over at the Sheraton may cause a little stress. -

If I had to do it all over again (and I have no plans to do it all over again!) I would hands down pick the Sheraton Baltimore North! When I first looked into them I was working with April she was lovely and amazing and awesome to work with, however she left I was left in the unknown for a little while and this was frustrating. I was kind of tossed from person to person without any warning, finally my new contact person was Shannon who after our first phone conversation I was left with a bitter taste in my mouth and a bit worried, but they hired someone to replace April and she was AMAZING her name was Rachel Coffin! She was bubbly and excited and ready to jump in and get to know us and learn all about our day! My only complaint is she was not the best at returning emails I would have to end up calling to speak with her, this isn't a horrible thing just sometimes a bit inconvenient. They are very willing to work with you on your package as well! We picked a package that had a buffet dinner however I had always wanted a seated meal and with no charge they switched it. There packages, are great our package included so much for the price we paid, the bar, the meal, the wedding cake (we could pick between two local bakeries), we had a maître d, a private cock tail hour for the bridal party, and room for the bride and groom for the night, unlimited coffee and tea, and so much more that I am forgetting! Their prices were very reasonable! Everyone the day of was so nice and sweet it was such a great day! Center pieces are also included in the price however I used their basic idea but instead of water and a floating candle I had floral lights with water beads, I wanted the floral lights back because they were not cheap but I was told they died and I know this was not true because I saw them cleaning up and they were all still lit (I also had some guest take them home and use them weeks later for a bday party) AND the batteries were able to be replaced even if they did die. -

Our experience with the Sheraton Baltimore North Hotel was amazing! From the moment we inquired about booking our wedding at SBN, we had ongoing communication with the wedding specialists for the entirety of our planning. The staff was super accommodating and flexible, always prioritizing our happiness. The ONLY drawback, compared to other venues, would be that for open bar, attendees between the ages of 11 and 21 were also included in the headcount for the open bar and the alcohol tax. Other venues only charge per person of drinking age. Outside of this, Sheraton Baltimore North was top tier in our search for wedding venues, and we searched well within the DMV area. Their wedding packages, policies, perks, and catering were the best choice and were worth every dime. Our event ran smoothly and our guests are saying our wedding is the best wedding they’ve ever been to. Thank you Stephanie, Kathleen, Marcus, the bartending staff, and management for all of your support. We even misplaced some gifts between the night of the wedding and the morning after, and they went above and beyond to make sure we did not leave without them in-hand. There are countless examples of the excellent customer service we experienced. Our wedding would not have been as great if we chose to have it anywhere else.Sheraton Baltimore North Hotel's reply:

Our wedding at the Sheraton was beautiful! They were easy to work with, but that was once you actually got ahold of someone. It is hard to get in touch with people and we went through 3 (maybe even 4!) different wedding planners in less than a year while planning our wedding and we had to make sure everything that was discussed was passed on. The maitre de was great during the reception and very helpful. Our bartender was hilarious and so personable. Everyone raved about him! Our last wedding planner Shannon started a few weeks before our wedding and she was great! She went above and beyond to make sure our day went well. The food was DELICIOUS! Everyone was very pleased with their filet mignon and stuffed flounder. The chef is so friendly and creative! We were frustrated we had to pay SO MUCH for nice chairs. The chairs that come with the room are forest green and ugly so we were forced to either buy chair covers (which we didn't want) or gold chairs which were pretty, but PRICEY! During planning, the multiple transfered phone calls to the wrong people and the hours trying to talk to the right people at the hotel was frustrating, but everything turned out great in the end and we were very happy with how it went. -

Over all, the Sheraton Hotel was a nice place to have a wedding ceremony and reception. The staff was very professional and polite, and the building as well as the surrounding areas were beautiful. We took pictures at Goucher College, which is 2 minutes away, and they turned out beautifully. There were however, a few issues. First, during the entire planning process, I dealt with FOUR different "wedding specialists." The first was fired, the second moved to a different location, and the third left for maternity leave. This would have been fine, had I been notified in advance that I would be dealing with so many different people. The result being, that I had to explain everything over and over to each one. The last specialist, Alexis, had absolutely no idea about any of the details for the reception, and acted like it wasn't her job to do so. She completely deserted us during the ceremony rehersal, and one of my bridesmaids had to help us set everyone up. If she would have been prepared, or even acted like she cared, it would have made a world of difference. On the other hand, our maitre d', Michelle, was phenominal. She was plesant and funny, and carried everyones belonging from the holding room to the reception room while we were being introduced. She also helped my mother carry all the wedding gifts back up to her room afterwards. There was also a fire alarm in the middle of our recption, and we were all evacuated for about 10-15 min. I'm aware this isn't the hotels fault, but when we asked for the reception to be extended for the missing time, they were not very happy to do so.
This is just me ranting, because I really was unhappy with the wedding specialist issue, but the hotel all in all was a plesant expierence. The cake (which comes with the wedding package) was beautiful and delicious, and it was very convient to have the ceremony and reception in one location. There are plenty of rooms for out of town guests, and they are very nice as well. -

Over all, our experience was satisfactory. The food was good, but a little over priced. The bar tender we got was really great and able to keep up with everyone. I did experience a change in coordinators which was annoying as a stressed out bride, but my replacements were pretty good about addressing my concerns. Make sure you fully understand the pricing before you sign anything, though. I had some unexpected costs (which wasn't anyone's fault) as the date of my wedding drew near. That being said, we had a very nice wedding and this was the only place I called that was willing to work with my budget. -

there were some staff changes, but that did not cause any problems. I would recommend getting your own coordinator, especially since staff changes seem to be the norm with this place. there were some problems with the room block (my fiance' had to keep calling to ask for more rooms be released - but they told us that in the beginning).
The guests really enjoyed the food. Overall, I would recommend the Sheraton, especially if you would like one-stop shopping: the contract included the cost for the wedding cake and the reception flowers. -

We had some issues early on in the process with the Sheraton- the person we were working with left and we had trouble getting our messages answered after that. But on the day of the wedding they really pulled if off. They we so great and helpful that day (even with hurricane Irene raging outside). I'm hoping that our issues early on were just a fluke because on the day of the wedding they really showed they know how to run a successful event. -

Maybe it was the timing with my wedding but I was switched around from specialist to specialist because the prior 2 had resigned/left/etc and it was a more stressful experience than tended to be. It was like starting all over with planning just a month before my wedding day..times 3. Pricing was all over the place from each person, no consistency which made me distrust the venue the most.Sheraton Baltimore North Hotel's reply:
Jean,
Thank you for taking the time to provide this feedback. I will agree that the Sheraton has been in transition in the past two years or so, in an effort to find and retain the most professional and customer service oriented employees. I apologize that we did not meet or exceed your expectations, but moving into 2018 we are dedicated (more than ever) to getting this right for future brides! Thank you again for your feedback. Have a wonderful day! -

There were a lot of staff changes throughout my wedding planning process and I was told different things by different staff. It was also a bit frustrating with all the staff changes because emails were never answered and voice mails not returned because that person had either been fired or quit and no one updated me. In the end the staff did a good job and everything came together, but they still created a lot of unnecessary stress during our planning process. -

Summary of my two-page review of our 4/22/17 wedding: Booked a year in advance with Shannon Welihan who was amazing! 6 months in, she was no longer there. Rachel Coffin took over and was great, but then January 2017, she was gone. We did not really have a Point of Contact (POC) until about a month before the wedding. Prior to finally getting a POC, there were many difficulties contacting a representative to address our concerns. Finally, we met our new POC Gary Vaughn, who was absolutely tremendous on getting everything in order.
Day of the Wedding! Pros: 1) Our Shuttle Driver Jason who took us to Goucher College for pictures was extremely kind! 2) Our colors were Royal Blue and Yellow and the setup was absolutely beautiful! 3) The staff on hand were very pleasant and attentive. 4) The appetizers and desserts were great!
Cons: 1) On the day of the wedding, it was clear that there was a miscommunication brought on by the fact that we met with multiple planners that were not on the same page. 2) There was a mix-up on the Table Seating that was not following the table list we provided. The father of the bride and his partner did not have a seat at the table reserved for them. 3) After the food tasting, we raved about the flavors and how good everything tasted. Unfortunately, it did not reflect the end product at the wedding. We were extremely disappointed in the main courses. The fish had a frozen/powdery aftertaste and the chicken was extremely dry. 4) The cupcakes were supposed to be served by the wait staff as agreed upon but they were not. 5) We were not notified of last call to have the DJ make the announcement. Bartenders disappeared frequently and the guests had to visit the hotel bar instead if they wanted a drink. 6) Lastly, in our complimentary hotel room, the chocolate-covered strawberries had mold on them! Thankfully, we did not eat them! -

I wasn't very happy with this venue. The food we tasted at our tasting was not good on the day of the wedding. For the most part, the Sheraton was fantastic. Our original wedding coordinator, who left a few months after we booked, was WONDERFUL at working with us and coming up with a menu that would feed everyone without breaking the bank. She was very personable and promptly answered e-mails (sometimes within a few hours of them being sent)
After our original coordinator left, we worked with the new coordinators who were a little less organized than the original coordinator. We expected some transitional issues and weren't too bothered. The one major issue we did have, however, was helping them figure out how much we owed based on our original contract; initially the amount was too large, then some of what we paid wasn't listed, then the amount seemed too small. It took us pretty much the whole two months before the wedding to get it all fixed and right (via e-mail). At first, again, we were somewhat forgiving, but as time went by, it was a little bit stressful.
The day of the wedding, everything was great. We had a lot of support and help from various staff members, had a room to go to after the ceremony to chill out, and were treated really well. The food was great, the room was great, and our guests had a great time. We fortunately had no issues with our block of rooms or with miscommunication or anything else mentioned in some of the previous reviews. There were a few mishaps, including that the centerpieces we had provided were thrown out instead of returned to us as expected, but nothing major or heartbreaking. And again, everyone - and that includes us! - had a great time.
I would recommend the Sheraton to other brides looking for a Towson location at a decent price. I would encourage keeping careful records of payments made and payments owed - but I would recommend that with any vendor! -

Had 2 to 3 wedding specialists during wedding preparation- lack of communication, had to start over each time and review venue with them.
Very unhappy with wedding specialist- went over last minute instructions two days prior and still things were wrong (favors, table assignments, food changes)
At times, I felt like I was the wedding planner because everything we would discuss would change when the contract would be sent to me. Then wedding specialist would deny the conversation ever happened.
Too many excuses offered- I wanted reasons why and no one could give to them to me. Mistakes made and no one would "fess up" to them.
Upper management tried to fix problems but staff would make more mistakes - snowball effect so it made things worse.
Issues with accounting- money withdrawn from my acct without consent.
Another venue was booked during our venue time due to lack of communication between specialists. Management opened bar area for guests with extra cocktail hour so they would not have to stand around and wait. Cheese and crackers provided.
Bridal cocktail hour -was not enough food, server inappropriate, very slow service, needed more servers
The bartenders and servers during the wedding reception were very good. "Joy" was always checking to see if we needed anything. Food was good during reception.

Over all everything turned out great but it was not easy! We had about 3-4 wedding specialist and they all did not properly introduce their self to us (no call email nothing) I would call to find out I had a new person working with us after the 1st one left. It was very frustrating for me because I had to keep getting to know someone new about 3 different times. My wedding day did not go as smooth as I thought. Our dressing room was not set up we had to ask for the items that should have already been set up from the start. I really could go on but...Overall I did enjoy myself but like a mention it was not easy I just had to let some thing go due to fact I had enough stress on me trying get to ready for my big day. -

I'm happy to see that people who have recently used this site had better experiences than I did. Everything seemed to be fine until the coordinator went on maternity leave. When Abbey took over 2weeks before my wedding, the problems started. First she wanted me to change to their new wedding cake vendor. There was no way that I was going to go through another tasting with that short of notice. By this time we had paid the final balance. The day before my wedding, Abbey called to day that they had not received payment. They would only accept a certified check. I should have been notified much sooner since the final balance was due before 24 hours before the wedding. I was told that at the reception, which was in the Warfields ballroom, the guests would not be allowed to enter the section where the tables are. That didn't happen. My contract stated that there would he 2 bartenders. There was only 1 and this was not addressed by the wedding person assigned to us. She, I do not remember her name, was wonderful in every other respect. We reserved a block of rooms only for guests to be told that the hotel had no rooms available. The wedding coordinator was unable to do anything about this and contacting the GM of the hotel was useless. I wish I would have used a different site for my ceremony and reception. The food was great, that was the one good thing. -

I booked our wedding at the Sheraton a year in advance. Their wedding coordinator had left so we had to deal with the catering manager which was no big deal and was very responsive to our questions. Then a new wedding coordinator was hired so we began dealing with her. After a short time, she had to leave for personal issues so then we had to deal with another coordinator, which actually turned out to be 2 new people. So needless to say there were a lot of changes going on as I was planning my wedding, which led to some communication problems. For the most part, they are attentive to our concerns and any issues that came up. We did have some issues with being overcharged for some items, which would have gone unnoticed and led to us paying more than we had to but with me being a teacher, I looked over it with a fine tooth comb! When I told them of this overcharge, they apologized and fixed it. Then after that incident and everything was paid for we got a call saying we owed like $100 for the upgraded icing on our cake, which was like 2 days before the wedding. Honestly, I don't really know whatever came of that situation.
BUT, when the wedding day came everything was wonderful! Katie was there to get us whatever we needed, which was great! The food was amazing! At the end of the night, our things were taken up to our room for us and there was even a plate of food and cake since we didn't get to eat very much at the wedding. So, there were some planning problems along the way but when it was show time everything was great!

Until we signed the contract, they were really good but once we signed it and then it was really hard to talk to anyone.
But at the end of it, they did above our expectation. -

The Sheraton Baltimore North is a beautiful site. However the wedding coordinator is a whole different story. We originally were working with a wonderful young lady but half way through our planning, she decided to go out on her own. The girl that we were left with was able to understand direction in terms of where we wanted things on the wedding day but come reception time she was down the hall at the other larger wedding. Upon entering the bridal room, we found out that half our wedding party was downstairs because no one directed them to the bridal room and because it was on the second floor, no one knew where it was. I only saw our "wedding coordinator" a total of three times during our entire reception. Our dj had to go and search for her on numerous occasions. My dad was doing his toast and no one from the staff even let us know. There was no attendant there when we cut our cake. Thank goodness we knew what we were doing. Overall, we had a beautiful wedding but that was only thanks to my ability to let things go not because the Sheraton upheld any of their side of the contract. -

We chose the Sheraton for our out-of-town guests, and for brunch after the wedding. They totally screwed me. They didn't save enough rooms, claimed it was my fault for not checking in with them every day, and after I sent out the invitations (all home-made) I had to scramble to find another hotel and email all of the guests. I begged them for one or two rooms more just so certain families could be together and they wouldn't budge. It was so ridiculous. I cancelled the brunch, and had it instead at the 2nd hotel. I was really looking forward to everyone being together, and it really broke my heart they way they handled it. -

I booked this Hotel 10 months before my wedding. When I booked, the wedding coordinator had just left so I met with the Banquet Manager. The Banquet manager was very helpful and had us all very excited about having the reception at this venue. We were concerned about the construction going on at the hotel, but we were assured that it would be done well before our wedding. The prices were right and we booked. A few months passed and a wedding coordinator was hired, she was wonderful. She took the time to explain and LISTEN to everything that we wanted. She took detailed notes and assured us that everything would run smoothly. She was professional and followed up with us the same day with everything we asked her that she had to get back us on.
Then it all went down hill... The wedding coordinator had to leave for personal reasons, even though we were told she quit, the new wedding coordinators were the snobbiest, fakest, unrespectful people that I had met in the wedding business. We met with them and explained everything again, they rushed us through the meeting and left me with a horrible feeling. I had to reach back out to them to get the information in writing. They constantly forgot to update the payments that we made. With only two months to go, it was too late to book another reception site. We had put a hold on 25 rooms for the night of our wedding, and then come to find out they only booked us for 10 rooms since there was a golf tournament that same weekend. I had to call to get that answer, as no one called me to let me know.
The good thing, no one new about all the things that were messed up with the reception... There was still construction going on, the buffet tables were supposed to be outside of the room in a hallway but they were in the room ( I was told during the reception that it was my fault for not specifying-- even though I told EVERYONE I met with), our reception went until 12:30 yet the linens were all taken off the tables by 11:45, the staff yelled at my DJ for not being on schedule ( I specifically asked the DJ to be in charge of getting everything done, not the hotel--which I specified to them), we had additional desserts for $8.00/ per person and they were a joke, we were supposed to have additional bartenders at the hotel bar afterwards (only 1 was there), and my lovely wedding coordinators were no where to be found at 12:31. -

The venue is great, but the service is lacking. We went through multiple wedding coordinators and even had a change in wedding coordinators 10 days before our reception.
Our guests had a great time except for the mashed potatoes (which were a substitute that we were not aware of). However my husband and I were disappointed with our service. Our leftover cake was thrown away, our cards were left unattended after the reception in the unlocked ballroom. We ended up gathering our things and taking them up to the room ourselves when we were told we didn't have to worry about anything.
For the money we paid for this receptio we would not recommend this place to any future brides. I was caused alot of undue stress by our reception. -

While our wedding was beautiful, and so much fun, planning it with the Sheraton was frustrating almost every step of the way.
We had 3 separate wedding planners throughout the course of our planning, and had to re-educate each one on everything that had been decided on. Our last wedding planner was very difficult to get a response from at times, and after everything was agreed to, they lacked any real flexibility when trying to make it work with our budget.
Plan on managing your room block on your own. I had to make several different calls to the hotel to extend our room block. Our contract stated that we would get rooms in 10 room increments, however we were only provided 5 at a time. Basically means that when your invitations go out, you'll be calling the hotel every 2 days to get more rooms because your guests can't find the room block.
The staff at the hotel was friendly enough, however, we didn't really appreciate being asked to leave the room 30 seconds after the contracted end time. We also didn't really appreciate the threats to our DJ, telling him that he will never play at the Sheraton again if he played one last song.
Lastly, don't believe the incentives that they try to sell you with. We were told that we would receive up to 120,000 Starwood points. When all was said and done, we received 7,300 points for over $21,000 spent. For perspective, 7,000 points will get you one night in a Starwood property in Detroit in January. Not exactly very useful. Not saying that we should have been given a week of free rooms, but after a couple spends a large sum of money with you, a little appreciation would go a long way.
Regardless, our wedding was fun, but we wish we would have picked a venue that cared for our business. -

Was very disappointed with everything!!!!! I was very excited to have my wedding here at first because of the wedding coordinator Robert O'neil, but that all change when he decided to leave the hotel. When Robert left I was never notified until I called because no one was responding back to my and emails!! I went through 3 different coordinators because each one feel that they had work opportunities elsewhere, which wasn't fair to me. Finally I was given a coordinator named Hope that stayed and seemed pretty nice and listened to my request expect for the day before the wedding we went over the lay out for the wedding plans and everything I told her I wanted was NOT done CORRECTLY!! If I could do it all over again I would definitely pick another venue for my wedding. -

Horrible experience ! Unprofessional people they forgot my flowers for my walk down the aisle. I had to harass them to make payments on time and to get points that I just got more then a month after the wedding. Also they went thru 4 wedding specialist while I was planning my wedding and with each new person I had to start all over again. They are also horrible at responding to emails and calls -

I have to say; I signed with Sheraton and had the worst experience ever. We received different quotes for all kinds of add-ons depending on who we spoke to. One day they would say this the next day they would say that. The contract process was brutal - the associate we were assigned to was so incompetent, revision after revision there was always something that was wrong. These people are just tryign to tack on fee after fee without you noticing and they think you're stupid. Even after the wedding day they tried to add these miscellaneous charges that we were never briefed on at all.
Please don't book here, they make it sound like you're paying a good price but they get it all back through this and that charge. Make sure you have everything in writing, I was thinking about sueing these folks and the courts only care about wha'ts in writing!!! -
