10/10 would recommend!

I couldn't be happier with my experience at Shelly Rose Photography. I have worked with photographers in the past and the crew at Shelly Rose Photography made me feel more confident in myself than ever before.
I was given wine for my nerves while getting pampered in the makeup chair. I was having so much fun, i couldn't stop laughing!! Very clean, professional, and creative in posing. After I saw my photos during my viewing appointment, i just about used an entire box of tissues (Sorry sara!! LOL). You get a top tier shoot, an incredible product.
If you're ever questioning if you should do this, YOU SHOULD! 10/10 would recommend.

10/10 would recommend!!!

I had been interested in a boudior photoshoot for a very long time. I finally reached out to shelly rose photography, I heard back the next day. Sara took me through the process and what to expect. She gave me the run down of what I could bring, what is recommended and what isn't. I was able to get my shoot very quickly. Once they day came I was extremely nervous. I had never done something like this and I'm just a generally awkward not sexy feeling person, but from the SECOND I stepped in the studio I felt at ease. I was pampered and totally pumped up about my looks. Shelly came in and directed me through the entire shoot to get the best looks and angles. I have NEVER felt so sexy in my life. The photos came out absolutely phenomenal and the experience was once in a life time!!! If you're looking for a fun, sexy, experience where you are the star of the show and you are treated like an absolute queen, THIS is the place to go!!

Best Experience Ever!!

This was my very first time to do this kind of photo shoot and to be honest I was so nervous.. However, From the the time I walked into the studio Sara was super welcoming and friendly and quickly put my nervous to rest. She has the most outgoing and amazing personality that will easily put anyone who is uneasy or scared to rest. She made this experience one of the best experiences I have ever had!! I have never felt so beautiful in my own skin.. I had so much fun that time flew by so fast that I couldn’t believe it was already over. On the day I got to see my photos I was amazed at that I could look so beautiful and how it captured my true personality yet in a different yet charming way. I would highly recommend Shelly Rose to anyone and everyone !! I have already recommended some of my friends and coworkers!! I absolutely loved my experience and I truly believe that this is for everyone !! I want to thank Sara soooo much for everything !! You are truly amazing and I can never thank you enough for making this one of the best experiences I have ever had and for helping me to be more comfortable in my own skin and showing me how beautiful I really am in these amazing photos that you took ❤️

What a fantastic experience! The only parts of the entire process that I found difficult were choosing the pictures….and waiting for them to come in!  Shelly is so friendly, accommodating, and encouraging. She did my hair /makeup and coached me through all the poses. “Move your hand up, tilt your chin down, Beautiful!” And once she turned the fan on and my hair started blowing… Watch out world! Supermodel coming through! Hehe! I can’t wait to see the final product. It will be a gift for my soon-to-be-hubby and I hope he likes them as much as I do!

I would like to thank Shelly for a great experience. Being awkward in general, I was a bit nervous. I was greeted by one of her girls who brought me into the studio with a glass of wine. Shelly came a few minutes later did my hair and makeup while we talked. She made me feel at ease. She coached me through the poses and they came out better than I could ever imagine.

This was my first time ever doing boudoir and I was very nervous as I am more on the reserved side but Shelly made me feel so comfortable and beautiful! I could not be happier with how my pictures came out. This is the ultimate wedding gift and I know my fiancé will love them as much as I do if not more!! I can not say enough about how much I loved the entire experience from being pampered with hair and make up to the actual shoot and then reviewing the photos afterwards and creating my book. I would highly recommended Shelly Rose Photography to all brides!!

I had an amazing experience with Shelly. From the second I stepped in the door the girls where nothing but helpful and nice. I was pretty nervous when I arrived, but it went right way! I recently did a boudoir shoot for my husband as an anniversary gift. I cannot praise Shelly and her extremely talented team more! The entire experience was absolutely amazing. After being nervous for months about the shoot, I was greeted with open arms and warm smiles when I arrived at Shelly's studio in Scarborough. Shelly and her team make you feel welcome and beautiful from the moment you walk in the door.
The session begins with Shelly helping you pick the outfits that will best flatter your assets. You are then pampered with hair and airbrush makeup, as well as wine :) to prepare you for the shoot ahead. When it is time for the shoot, it is just you and Shelly in the studio. Shelly makes you feel right at home right away. She gives clear and concise direction and positions your body to best suit your favorite features about yourself. She utilizes many sets and in her gorgeous, sun-filled studio to provide you with many options.
After the shoot, I returned to the studio to view my images and I was absolutely blown away. I still can't believe how wonderful the photos turned out. Shelly walked me through all of the photos and helped me pick the ones for purchase. She was honest and helpful in helping me make the decisions on the photos that my husband will love.
Shelly is immensely talented and it is very clear that she loves making women feel beautiful, inside and out. I highly recommend this amazing experience to anyone who wants to wow their significant other or feel amazing about themselves. I can't wait to work with her again! Thank you for the wonderful experience.

I recently had a boudoir session with Shelly Rose and I am giving the pictures to my fiance as his wedding gift. I spent about a month before my appointment, being so nervous I actually considered canceling the appointment. Within 10 minutes of meeting and talking to Shelly, my nerves vanished. She was nothing short of professional and enthusiastic from the minute I met her. She had me change into my outfit and offered me a glass of wine and a bathrobe so I wouldn't feel uncomfortable with her while she did my makeup, (which was stunning by the way. It was just beautiful. I highly recommend it) From the first shot she took of me, I truly felt like the worlds most beautiful girl. Shelly kept saying things like how stunning I looked, and how she loved how I was smiling or what I was doing with my hair. Honestly, it was impossible not to feel like a diva rock star when she was posing me. She knew EXACTLY what poses would work with my body, and how to accentuate the right curves, the right way. I'm not exactly a "tiny" girl, but when I was with her...she made me feel so at ease and special, I felt really beautiful. In fact, when it was over, I told her I was ready to do it all over again. :) When I went to review and order my pictures with her, Shelly had an awesome slide show set up of about 40 pictures with catchy music playing in the background. She took her time with me and let me ask questions. I was there almost an hour and a half with her, and I never once felt rushed or pushed into making decisions. I came into the appointment feeling nervous and beyond insecure, almost to the point of canceling. When I left the appointment, and saw my pictures with her during the review...I was absolutely thrilled. Shelly Rose is beyond professional and her work is stunning. Every woman/bride should seriously consider a session with Shelly if they want to feel like the hottest woman in the world, and give their man some eye candy. :) Excellent. Thank you Shelly Rose!

I went to Shelly Rose Photography to have boudoir pictures done to give to my husband for our anniversary. I was very nervous because I am very self conscience about myself. From the moment I walked into the studio I felt very much at ease. It was a very relaxing atmosphere. Shelly goes over the outfits you bring to see what will work the best. She does an amazing job on hair and make up. I've never felt so beautiful. Once the photo shoot begins it's just you and Shelly in the studio. She places you in poses that bring out your best features. My feeling of self consciousness never once surfaced. It was a wonderful experience and when I saw the pictures I was so glad that I did it. My husband was pretty happy that I did it too!

Great present for your future husband!

I used Shelly Rose photography for a wedding present for my soon to be husband and as a treat to myself after a 65 pound weight loss. I did some research, but kept finding her name with good reviews, so I decided to give it a shot. I liked how she gave great recommendations of outfits, what to expect, and helped calm your nerves before the shoot.
Once I arrived, Shelly provided feedback on the outfits (which was helpful) and then did my hair and makeup. Once we started, Shelly did a great job directing me in all of the poses, which was really helpful.
I recently saw the pictures, and they are beautiful! I can't wait to see the final copies. I like how you are able to give feedback on any photoshopping you want done as well, so if there are any areas that you are concerned with, you can provide your feedback.
The pricing is definitely expensive, so know that going into it - but it's a special treat for a special occasion!

Great Experience

Shelly made me feel so comfortable from beginning to the end. I did this session as a gift for my fiancé as a wedding gift. I did not realize how it would make me feel at the same time. I felt so empowered and sexy. My husband loved the pictures. I loved the experience and would go back.

Unprofessional.

The most unprofessional, unethical ignorant photographer I have ever spoken with. Save your money and go literally anywhere else.
Extremely disappointed that I was turned away five minutes before my bridal boudoir photoshoot. Apparently because I picked up Photography as a hobby and that landed me in the position of her denying service to me. The worse part is I am not a professional photographer what so ever I do not make a living off photography. As a FULL time events coordinator/server in Scarbrough ME I will be sure to pass along the information to our clients so no one else has to deal with this months before their wedding.
Regardless, I own a camera and take photos for my friends. It would have be nice if I had known before the day of! Never have I felt so awful about myself in such a vulnerable position when her job is to make you feel good.
