Shelly has all the vision.
I found Shelly on Instagram and just fell in love with her photography. She is unbelievably talented, kind, and well organized. I can not praise her enough. After showing off my Shelly Anderson photography three of my friends booked her for their weddings that same year. She takes effortlessing beautiful photos and captures each moment. -

Shelly is an amazingly talented photographer. We scoured the internet to find the perfect photographer before choosing her and we are incredibly happy with our choice. My husband and I used Shelly for our engagement photoshoot and wedding day, and we honestly couldn't have chosen anyone better. Shelly's photos are BEAUTIFUL; the colors, the lighting, the attention to detail, the angles, and the thought she puts into each one of them, are all truly remarkable. Added bonus: Shelly's personality is absolutely wonderful. These photos are extremely personal, and especially with engagement photos, they can awkward. Shelly has a knack for making photo sessions fun and is great at helping you loosen up and enjoy yourself. Shelly is the best, if you're thinking about hiring her, DO IT. I will be giving her name to everyone! If you hire Shelly, you'll meet someone who will give you the most beautiful photographs of you and your spouse you have ever seen. You will meet someone who you want to call a friend. You will meet someone you will vow to call for another photo session when you have babies! We loved Shelly and her stunning work and we are sure you will too!! -

We absolutely loved working with Shelly!!! She was able to get us to relax and just be ourselves while she was shooting our engagement photos and our wedding. We felt totally comfortable in front of her camera, and following her instructions to get natural looking shots.
Shelly made sure to scout the wedding venue and surrounding location before the event so she knew where the best spots to do the first look and group pictures. On the wedding day, she came into my chaotic bridal suite and got right to work with the details, then got all the girls on track so we finished our pictures in plenty of time and we weren’t rushed for the ceremony.
Also, she got our photos back to us really quickly and we are so happy with how they turned out! I do not consider myself photogenic, and I am usually very nervous to see pictures of myself, but am in love with our wedding photos!
Lastly, Shelly’s pricing is very reasonable, especially considering her artistry and the individual attention she gives to your shoot and preparing your photos.

Ann Sent on 11/19/2017Shelly did a phenomenal job on our wedding day. She helped us with the timeline and always available to answer questions during the planning process. She did a great job with making sure my husband and I are comfortable in front of the camera.
Her photos tell the story and bring back every feeling from our wedding day and we look at them feeling laughter and tears. Shelly is truly talented and captured everything and we will treasure these forever. Thank you so much!! -

User2613116 Sent on 05/18/2016I can't tell you how much of a joy it was to work with Shelly before, during, and after our wedding day. Of all the elements of our wedding, photography was one of our highest priorities. We were looking for someone who could capture the day, tell our story through pictures, and not make us feel totally awkward posing in front of a camera. Shelly was the one for us!
Before the wedding, we had an engagement session with Shelly. She made us immediately feel comfortable both on and off the camera. We knew we were in good hands when Shelly delivered our engagement photos less than a week later with stunning results. We booked her and her second shooter for seven hours for our wedding day.
In the weeks leading up to the wedding, Shelly helped us set a photography timeline for the day and went over our shot requests. This was super helpful day of the wedding for us and our bridal party. Everyone knew what to expect, where to go, and when to meet up. It really took the stress out of planning our photos.
The day of the wedding, Shelly and her second shooter Paulina arrived right on schedule. We had a great time with our getting ready photos and everyone felt very relaxed with Shelly behind the lens. We had a first look, photos on the beach, and pictures with our bridal party and parents before the ceremony. Shelly was so on top of things, we were done ahead of schedule (who has ever heard of this happening?!) and everyone got to take a few moments at the hotel to relax. It was really nice to connect with everyone and have that last sip of champagne before the ceremony!
Our ceremony also went smoothly as Shelly caught all our special moments. All of our pictures came back so beautiful. The details, our portraits, the pictures of our friends and family, and all the candids we received were above and beyond our expectations. Our photos told our story and really captured the essence of the day. We will always remember what a great time we had thanks to Shelly. -

Lena Sent on 12/03/2015Absolutely had the best experience with Shelly! We booked with her Engagement and Wedding Photography. From the beginning she was accommodating. As a new bride, I was not sure what photography style suited me and I was between two photographers. Mainly my family thought they knew what was best for me (not surprising!). They wanted certain lighting and editing done, and I showed Shelly some example photographs. She went out of her way and re-edited some of her blog photos for me to try to get close to what I was looking for. After months of stalking her blog, I realized Shelly's photography style is what I truly wanted. And I have not regret it since! I told her to scratch what I had requested and to just edit however she liked! Our engagement session was successful. We had to reschedule our engagement session due to the rain, but she was very Flexible! Now onto the wedding! We decided to add two more photographers and they were wonderful to work with as well! Shelly was organized and presented me a Day of Photography Schedule based on my wedding day schedule. She was patient with my aunt who was also taking a ton of pictures, I was upset my aunt would get in the way, but Shelly worked around it :) Now onto the main thing, only less than 2 weeks later, Shelly had finished our wedding photos!!!! And the lighting and editing was phenomenal! She also releases her favorite picks onto her blog, where she gives a heart warming description of the wedding couple. I was sharing her blog as well as some photos in our personal website with all of our family and friends. Everyone was blown away! I had so many people say our photos were the best they have ever seen. Shelly's price for her quality of photography is more than fair, I have seen ridiculously priced packages and the quality does not even come close. Now all of my engaged friends and single friends all want to book her in the future :) I am not hesitating to book with Shelly again in the future (BABY PICS?!?!)! -

Tony A. Sent on 07/15/2015Words cannot even describe how much we love Shelly! Just look at her portfolio and you will surely want her to photograph all your events. Our wedding is not until September but we had our engagement session with her. Not only did our photos come out incredible, we also had a ton of fun during the process. We told her that we wanted to do something outdoorsy because it was meaningful for us and Shelly went and scouted the perfect location for our shoot, Lake Cuyamaca. It was absolutely perfect and we couldn't be any happier with our images.
We've never been professionally photographed before. We initially thought it would be awkward because it's such an intimate shoot, but it never felt that way at all. She gave us directions that were completely natural and we had a lot of fun just being ourselves in front of the camera. We loved that our images reflected who we are and our style.
We are so looking forward to our wedding day. We could not have picked a better artist to capture the special moments of the biggest day of our lives. Thank you, Shelly! See you soon.
