We cannot tell you how much of a gift Shelby was to us for our March 16, 2024 wedding, but we're going to try!
As a type-A bride with a vision, I was initially nervous about trusting someone to handle all the details that were floating around in my head, but from the first phone call with Shelby all the way to now, the week after the wedding, I have been fully calm and present, knowing that she had everything under control. Not only did she take the time to fully understand our vision for our day, but she also was there for the months leading up to our wedding to speak to my ideas, answer my (many, many) questions, calm my nerves, and dream with us.
Being able to fully trust Shelby with executing the vision beautifully; taking care of any emergencies or last-minute fixes; handling all things coordination and timeline management; answering all my questions with grace and expertise, as well as providing beyond helpful suggestions; and checking-in/cheering us on/personally assisting us with miscellaneous things (Shelby had to trim my sticky bra down to hide it in my dress so she truly is willing to go the extra mile!!) allowed us to truly be present and focus on each other and our marriage, our loved ones, and how lovely the day was. THAT was the biggest gift to us on our wedding day and it was all due to Shelby's professionalism, kindness, genuineness, and passion.
She was a confidant, cheerleader, coordinator, and friend all-in-one, and we are so grateful. Our family and friends all told us how wonderful she was throughout the weekend! Her services were without a doubt the best thing we budgeted for and we're so thankful for her. For those looking to be present and at peace on their wedding day, look no further than Shelby Donald Coordination! -

We truly cannot say enough good things about Shelby. From the very beginning, she made the entire wedding planning process feel so much less overwhelming. We are not the best at staying on task, and Shelby was incredible at keeping us moving forward without ever making us feel bad about it. She was organized, patient, and always seemed to know exactly what we needed to be thinking about next. I honestly don't know how we would have planned our wedding without her.
She also had an amazing list of vendor recommendations, and every suggestion she made was so helpful. She was incredibly detail-oriented and constantly brought up things we never would have thought of ourselves. She somehow managed to be both extremely organized and incredibly calming, which was exactly what we needed throughout the process. We genuinely looked forward to every meeting with her.
One thing that really showed us what kind of planner Shelby is happened just days before our wedding. Our cake vendor had a power failure and wasn't going to be able to provide our wedding cake. Without us having to figure anything out, Shelby went out of her way to make sure we still had a cake and even sent one of her employees to pick it up during our wedding. It ended up being such a huge and amazing surprise, and it was something we never had to worry about because she had already taken care of it.
And on the wedding day itself, we didn't have to worry about a single thing. Shelby and her team had everything completely under control, which allowed us to actually be present and enjoy our wedding instead of worrying about what was happening behind the scenes. Her team did an amazing job, and everything ran so smoothly.
Most importantly, Shelby was just a joy to work with. She has such a calming presence, but she's also someone you naturally trust and listen to. She made a process that could have been incredibly stressful feel manageable and, honestly, really fun.
We would recommend Shelby to anyone planning a wedding. Hiring her was one of the best decisions we made, and we truly don't think our wedding would have gone nearly as smoothly without her.

Shelby was the best possible choice we could have made for a wedding planner.
She’s got a calm, grounded energy and was nothing less than a pleasure to work with. Her communication was fantastic, she caught all the details that needed catching, provided super helpful tools to make sure we have everything on our end organized, and helped execute our big day perfectly. 10/10 would recommend!
We keep joking about what things we’ll do better/differently “next wedding” 🤣, but hiring someone other than Shelby isn’t on the list.

Look No Further, Hire Shelby Donald Co!
Shelby and her team are an absolute dream. In short: Hire them without question. My husband and I hired the team for full wedding coordination, which I was nervous about doing. Then, my nerves turned into deep relief and gratitude. Shelby was with us every step of the way - helping us stay on track, introducing potential vendors, bringing us things we hadn’t considered… and ultimately helping us bring everything together so that our wedding was perfect for us. It was more than projected management and “coordination”, Shelby is a magician where no detail is lost and she’s kind about making everything happen. She was the backbone of our wedding. And, she easily integrated into our community with our family and friends. Hire them, hire them, hire them! Their support is invaluable. You’ll write a review like this one day and be honored to recommend Shelby and her team to your family and friends (like I am). -

We can't recommend Shelby highly enough for her month-of coordination. From the first time we scheduled a phone call until the day of our wedding, Shelby didn't miss a beat -- she was consistently detail-oriented and aware of the many moving parts of our ceremony and reception, all while bringing a calm, laid-back and positive energy to our interactions.
Amid the chaos of coordinating with multiple vendors (and a last-minute heat wave!), it was such a comfort knowing we could trust Shelby and her team with all of the little details. A year ago, we were skeptical about the value of working with a wedding planner/coordinator, but no more - working with Shelby allowed us to be present and with our people on our wedding day. We're very grateful! -

We cannot praise Shelby and team enough for all they did for us throughout the wedding planning process and day of the wedding. My husband and I had a goal in mind of providing a stress-free day not only for ourselves but for our families as well, since we knew they wanted to be involved. We wanted to be completely present in the moment on our wedding day and that is when we found Shelby Donald & Co. We decided to go with the Elevated Month of Coordination route, and Shelby not only provided the necessary tools and outlines to ensure our wedding planning went smoothly, but she was receptive to any and all questions we had along the way. Every time I met with Shelby, the wedding planning nerves would go away!
Day of wedding, Shelby and team executed everything flawlessly and ensured the flow of our wedding remained on track. This allowed my husband and I to truly soak up every moment and focus on the big picture. Shelby was very communicative, compassionate, and incredibly supportive throughout the entirety of the wedding process. Shelby Donald & Co. exceeded all expectations we had, and we felt so incredibly lucky to have Shelby along our side on our day. She went above and beyond to ensure our day was nothing short of perfection. -

Shelby is absolutely amazing! The handled everything day of and the month before for our wedding! She made things go so smoothly and had everything taken care of for us! She made sure that Aaron and I were taken care of during the wedding and I can’t imagine our day without her in it! She is amazing!! -

My husband and I worked with Shelby for a year leading up to our wedding in July 2024. She was the best wedding planner we could have asked for! From the very beginning, Shelby was incredibly organized, sweet, and knowledgeable. She outlined a plan for us that allowed us to feel like we were super on top of planning every step of the way and she kept us from feeling overwhelmed at any point during the planning process. Every meeting we had with Shelby made us feel more confident and excited about our wedding day and she always answered our questions before we even asked. One amazing thing (even though there are a million) about Shelby is that she genuinely invests in your wedding as if it were her own! For our wedding, Shelby generated so much excitement around each and every detail from the table linens to the vendors and everything in between, Shelby matched and exceed our enthusiasm. On wedding day, Shelby was so helpful, kind, organized, and just overall amazing and there was never a moment that we doubted or questioned her skills and therefore never felt stressed on our special day. Not only can we call Shelby our wonderful wedding planner, but we feel very grateful to be able to call her a friend as well. We often say that we would go back and do the whole process again because we had so much fun! This was in large part thanks to Shelby and her guidance along the way. If you hire Shelby, you are in the best hands! It is a decision that will make you look back on your special day as fondly as we do. We couldn’t be more thankful for her!!!!! -
