Amazing wedding lights!

Event Lighting Concepts did an absolutely amazing job for our Portland, Maine wedding. Our space was large and open, and we were nervous about how it would come together. Our breath was taken away when we walked in to see what they were able to do with the space. They knew exactly what they were doing and provided an excellent lighting setup for what we needed. The team was extremely easy to work with and we could not recommend them more!

Gorgeous lights!

We loved event lighting concepts! Lights were gorgeous and they figured out how to hang lights across three trees for our cocktail hour. We kept hearing all weekend how beautiful it was and it was exactly what we wanted/envisioned. We hired them fairly last minute and really appreciated their ability to fit us in and they also stayed late to get everything up and make sure it was perfect. Highly recommend them!

Dreamy Lights!

ELC was amazing to work with! They were prompt and executed everything flawlessly on our wedding day. We used them for our tent and cocktail hour lighting. All the staff was kind and considerate during set up and breakdown.

Great to work with!

Great to work with! They did a lovely job of lighting the barn for our wedding. There was a miscommunication the day before our event and they came right back up to make it right. Everyone loved what they did to make the barn warm, inviting, and well-lit!

Wonderful!

We are so glad that we decided to go with ELC for our wedding. Our wedding was at Brick South in November, so we knew we were going to need some extra lighting to keep it from getting too dark. We didn't realize, however, what an essential part of our wedding's style the lighting would become. The lights that ELC provided were beautiful and were truly an integral part of our wedding's look and feel.

Heidi was also a total pleasure to work with. She was prompt and professional and always patient with our ever-changing ideas and requests. She helped us work within our budget to get the biggest "bang for our buck" in the large space we were in.

A must have for a memorable event!

Lighting tends to be a part of the wedding design that most people don’t think about all that much, but it truly makes all the difference, from the mood of the party to the look of the event in photographs. Working with Heidi, their lighting team surpassed all of our expectations and created a magical space that totally transformed our backyard into an elegant event space. One of the moments I’ll always remember from our wedding weekend is watching as the Event Lighting Concepts team strung up twinkle lights in our clear tent, working into the night a few days before the wedding...Their hard work and dedication to beauty truly paid off, and we so appreciate all they did for us. Our wedding felt warm, romantic, and special, and it is in no small part to the lighting. We highly recommend working with the Event Lighting Concepts team.

Fantastic!

I contracted with Event Lighting Concepts for my wedding in May, and I could not have been happier with the experience. Heidi was great to work with. Not only was she prompt replying to emails, but she also proposed some beautiful, creative ideas for our space. We really only needed a few hanging lights over a satellite bar, food stations, and the dance floor, which I am sure was not the biggest job they've ever had, but Heidi did not make us feel like our wedding was any less important. The end result was beautiful and guests said they felt like they were dancing under the stars. Thanks so much to Heidi and the rest of the team!

Made our venue warm & inviting

We got married at the Red Barn at Outlook Farm, and had bistro lighting above our ceremony & dance floor. The lights looked spectacular and really added to the ambiance of our venue. I am thrilled with how the lights look in our ceremony and reception photos and am so grateful for Event Lighting Concepts.

I highly recommend Event Lighting Concepts for any of your event lighting needs. The team was extremely helpful and professional. Jon Roy was my point of contact and he helped a very indecisive bride like myself create the most beautiful wedding day I ever could have imagined. When I entered the tent I was blown away at how Jon made my vision come to life. The communication between ELC and myself through the entire process was above and beyond amazing. The team was also able to work seamlessly with all our vendors without any involvement from me - just what a bride needs! If you have any lighting and DJ needs for your wedding look no further as you will be in the best hands. We used Nick Teti with Revolution DJ and he was also incredible. I keep saying that it is truly the people included in your day that make it so special, and I feel lucky and grateful to have worked with Event Lighting Concepts and our DJ Nick - they were truly awesome and made our day amazing. Luke and his crew at Event Lighting Concepts are TOP NOTCH in their field. They take ANY given theme and know exactly how to design and execute a fabulous lighting plan to make the space come to life!
As an Interior Decorator, I have had the pleasure of working with ELC at different venues over the past few years. Their expertise, professionalism and quality of customer service are ALWAYS first rate!

I would highly suggest booking Event Lighting Concepts. They did an unbelievable job conveying what I wanted into the light display. I wrapped lights around the posts and beams of On The Marsh in Kennebunk, Maine and I'm so glad we spent the extra money on it! They were great to work with and the execution was on point. It was the first time the venue had approved putting lighting up like that and the owner loved it so much she mentioned doing it for Christmas Prelude in Kennebunk!! They did a magical job!

Hiring Event Lighting Concepts to add Bistro Lighting and Lanterns to our venue was the best decision! They were responsive and easy to work with providing quotes and layouts for us to choose from and had everything set up and ready to go on our wedding day without any issues. The lighting made such an impact in our space, it rained during our outdoor/tent wedding day but everyone still talked about how beautiful it was in part due to the extra touches from Event Lighting Concepts!

Event Lighting Concepts was wonderful at both our wedding and rehearsal dinner! The uplighting totally transformed the US Custom house into a historic dreamy romantic venue. It was breath taking! ELC also worked with us for our wedding on an island with no cars or stores, they were so flexible with our difficult logistics and lit up the entire property for guests ease and setting the mood. It was absolutely perfect. ELC is the best resource for lighting and draping!

ELC did an incredible job for our wedding! From the start, Luke and Jon were easy to talk to and they helped me figure out a lighting design that fit within our budget and our style. They created a fully-custom piece for us that looked like a million bucks (and wasn't!). They took care of all the details including hanging it up with no damage to the building, and building it in a way that concealed the electrical wiring. To this day I am not quite sure how they engineered it, but it was stunningly beautiful and exactly what we wanted. Numerous guests commented on how amazing the lighting was and how impressed they were. We hadn't originally considered doing lights because they sound so expensive, and custom lights at that, but they totally made a design work within our budget, so if you were thinking you can't afford lights, go ahead and have a chat with them because they are awesome! I would definitely use them again :)

Luke was the dj for our ceremony/reception. EVERYONE was on the dance floor at one point or another, which is exactly what we wanted! We couldn't have been happier with his service. By the end of the night we had so many compliments from our guests about what a great dj he is. There was even a minor hiccup when our photographer was looking for a ladder for a large group photo and was gone for awhile, and he managed it beautifully by just transitioning into the next dance on the list and coming back to it when our photographer returned. He was so easy to work with through the process. Very responsive to emails and phone calls. He has an open and honest line of communication with each meeting/phone call. My new husband and I have agreed that he was by far the best choice we made during wedding planning (other than to marry each other!) ;) Our photographer even gave him a rave review saying that he was the best to work with from a vendor's perspective.

The uplights brought our wedding ceremony and reception that extra touch that we needed to make it perfect! The staff met with us to go over the directions to use the lights. They pre-programmed the exact color that we wanted so that we just had to turn them on once we placed them. Light shields were supplied at no extra charge. Returning the lights was flexible for a day that was convenient for us after the wedding.

ELC did the lighting for our ceremony, we were going for a rustic look in a hiking lodge and the bistro style lighting was perfect. Their reps came in and worked very independently, which was huge because we did most of the coordinating by ourselves and not having to interact much with them took a huge load off. Everything looked great and best of all, we had only paid for lighting on the second day of our event (the actual ceremony) but since their reps arrived the night before, they got the dining room lighted in time for the rehearsal/welcome dinner at no extra cost! It really saved us because we also didn't have enough time to put most of the decorations out the first night, but the lighting really made the room look perfect.

We used Event Lighting Concepts for our wedding in September at the Portland Company. They did an outstanding job! I will absolutely use them again for future events. Jon was easy to work with, professional, helpful with last minute changes, and worked within our budget. He gave us different options and made it easy to understand for someone who is not working in lighting every day. The final product looked exactly how I pictured it! Thank you for a job well done!

Jeff did an absolutely incredible job with the uplighting. He took a somewhat dated/dark space and made it glow with glamour and beauty. Guests at our wedding were commenting on how good it looked all night and even after. I love looking at the pictures and seeing how he made the space so special for us. I highly recommend this company for your uplighting needs!

We were so pleased with the up-lighting for our beautiful Sperry Tent. Because it got dark so late in the evening we were apprehensive to spend thousands of dollars on different decorative lights and Event Lighting Concepts suggested to use our special tent up lighting for the primary light source as well. It looked magnificent and we saved about 1/2 the price as well. They were prompt and the process was seamless. The lights were one of the highlights from the day. Thank you!

Event lighting was able to do the lighting for our reception and they did an absolutely fantastic job. Originally I had thought that our venue was perfect because the ballroom we had the wedding in was beige which would work well with our décor. Our DJ pointed out though that rooms like that can tend to wash out because everything is the same color. We decided to go with Event lighting and it was a great decision. The room looked beautiful all lit up and as the night progressed it added some wonderful ambiance! Their attention to detail was great, and I was surprised by how creative they were. For instance, we had a candy bar, which when setup looked nice, but Event lighting added LED coasters underneath the vases and candy and it looked spectacular!! I would absolutely recommend this company for any and all lighting you need!

We used ELC for our NYE wedding. For both our ceremony site and our reception venue. It was absolutely gorgeous and totally transformed both spaces into a magical beautiful wedding dream!!! We recommend them times 100 to anyone planning any type of event!!!

We had Jeff as our DJ for our wedding at LaBelle Winery in Jan. We met with Jeff a few times before our event and every time he was very professional. He listened to our requests as quirky as they might have been. When the big day came, he made sure to check in with us and double check everything. Jeff kept the night rocking and everyone up and dancing for the whole night.

Luke Lanigan was fantastic! He was originally just going to be our DJ but offered such an amazing desk on lighting we couldn't pass it up. The colors were perfect and they brought everything together. He even lit up or candy buffet half way through the reception so people would know it was time to get their favors. The coaster lights on the table went do well with or flowers it looked like they were meant to be together. Even it venue commented that it was the best up lighting they had ever seen!

Event uplighting was amazing! They were easy to work with and had the most affordable prices we could find and they keep a technician at the venue the entire night! Our technician for the night was Jon and he was wonderful! He contacted us a few days before the wedding to go over our color theme so he could give us lights that would match, the bridesmaids were in plum with fall colored flowers. They lighted our ceremony and our reception our ceremony was done in purple lights that looked stunning in pictures and our reception spaced started out in an array of fall colors that was amazing! As the night went on Jon changed the lights to the music!! I was so much fun to be on the dance floor with the lights changing around you, it never looked "cheesy or like you were at a state fair" it just looked amazing. All of our guests were in awe watching the lights change! Event lighting concepts is definitely recommend!

ELC were so courteous and checked in all night just wanting to make sure everything was perfect. They really seemed to care about the quality of their work. If you are going through Music Man DJ service, they provide an AMAZING discount. Totally worth every penny, as it really brought my wedding to the next level. It provided the perfect party atmosphere without being over the top.

We had a great wedding and it would not have been possible without Jeff Erwin and Event Concepts Lighting. The days events were flawless and Jeff helped move things a long to make sure everyone had a great time and kept dancing. Our wedding was at the Red Barn at Outlook Farm and the coordination that Katie and Jeff provide from the Red Barn made this a very special day.

These lights were awesome! They really helped set the mood for our wedding reception. We went with an beach theme for the wedding, so we wanted to have blue lights in the reception hall. Right before my husband and I entered the hall, Jeff told us that our photographer wanted to change the lights to a more warm color, like pink, so that the photos would turn out better. So guess what? After getting our approval, Jeff was able to change the color of the lights, just in time for our entrance. I'm not sure if it happened in sync with the music, but I like to imagine it did. After all of the pictures were done and the real partying began, we set the lights to change randomly. The kids especially loved it. It was super awesome and totally worth the money to add that extra something to the reception. I believe we went with all 36 lights, although I'm not 100% sure that was the amount. I'm very happy with the way it turned out!

I have to admit I didn't think about lighting for my wedding until a few weeks prior to the event. I contacted Event Lighting Concepts and they quickly responded and were extremely helpful and professional. I only spoke with one of the guys (Jon) for a few minutes on the phone and told him exactly what I wanted and he made sure to contact me a few days before the wedding to confirm all the details.
When i walked into my reception I was totally blown away by how amazing the uplighting made the venue look. It was beyond obvious that Jon listened to exactly how I wanted my event to look and executed it flawlessly. The added lighting to the sweetheart table, cake table and coaster lights for the candy bar, added a special touch. The whole event was classy, elegant and most importantly fun. I know a lot of that is thanks to the added lighting and the dedication of Event Lighting Concepts. I would recommend this company to any bride looking to make her wedding a memorable one!! My guests still talk about how great the event looked! So don't save the lighting for last!! :)

My husband and I were not really sure if we wanted to utilize lighting concept at our vow renewal when we first looked into the idea. After talking to Luke and reviewing their website, we knew it would add the perfect touch to our event. We were RIGHT! Luke took great care of us; the lighting added a beautiful ambiance to the venue during the evening. We would definitely recommend Event Lighting Concepts to everyone... We didn't just get beautiful lighting an affordable price; we got an amazing vendor who's personality showed through all of his great work! Amazing!! And that doesn't even express how truly happy and satisfied we were with our up lighting. We had booked Luke and Jeff over the phone, just by trusting the reviews. From the first phone call with Jeff up until days before and finalizing with Luke, I instantly trusted they would do a good job. Little did I know they were going to blow us away!! We were married in Portsmouth New Hampshire at the Portsmouth Sheraton Hotel. John was our "go to" man for the night and ran the lights throughout our entire reception. He was great! Very personable, introduced himself right away and he had the lights accommodating every dance and mood the entire night. I loved how we didn't have bulky black lights all over the floor and that they were remote controlled.
Thank you so much Luke, Jeff and John for being a part of our fairytale wedding and making our reception beautiful!!

Jeff was amazing! Our wedding was held at the Ocean View Inn and Resort in Gloucester, MA. Just by showing him our floor plan and letting him know our wedding colors he was able to design a lighting plan that worked incredibly well for our space. With the wireless, remote controlled, up lighting technology the ambiance of the room seamlessly transformed into exactly the feel we wanted to provide for our guests. I would recommend ELC to anyone. Not only is the product they provide great, but they were very easy to work with and exceeded every expectation we could have had for our wedding reception.

We had Luke dj our wedding reception for us and he mentioned about the lighting services with ELC. At first I wasn't too sure because we were doing a low key barn theme but I checked out the site and we went for it. I could not have been happier. If you don't have lighting at your highly recommend it. We had our candle light dinner with candles everywhere but when it came time to dance Luke had the lights around the dance floor go up and it was perfect. The lighting really defines the space and I think it helped a lot of the shyer people feel comfortable dancing (myself being one). I am happy that we found Luke and ELC and wouldn't have don't it any other way.

Ps. If your looking for a dj ask for Luke Lanigan.

Jeff was not only an amazing DJ on our wedding day, but he also had such a great set up with the uplighting! It really added to the atmosphere of the large barn and looked so dramatic! What a great backdrop for our pictures. I truly believe the lighting made people want to dance. Seriously, there were people dancing for hours who I don't think normally do so at weddings!

Truly cannot thank Jeff and ELC for the AMAZING job they did for our wedding at the Portsmouth Country Club June 2013!! The uplighting was a last minute addition to our package and we are SO thrilled we chose to move forward with it. Totally transformed the room in all the best possible ways. Even Lighting took our banquet event to another level. Originally, we were worried about the location of the event since it was the same space utilized for other events thoughout the conference, however EVen Lighting was able to transform the space into something new, original and simply beautiful. Event Lighting Concepts really helped in making our Charity Gala fun and exciting! Their service was exactly what we had imagined and hoped for in setting the mood and ambiance. Luke, the owner of the company, was a great listener and was able to suggest ideas based on what we wanted for the evening. One such suggestion was considering using glass centerpieces which he could then provide lighting that would emit from underneath. We took his advice and it gave the room further style that complimented the lights emitting along the walls but also provided light from the center of the room rather than just along the walls. Luke was also both patient and flexible. This was evident when our event, which was planned by students, but required school administration approval, was very capable in working with all those involved in a timely and professional manner. It's because of him and his company that our event was such a big success and those involved in planning our Charity Gala would recommend Event Lighting Concepts to anyone planning their next event!

Event Lighting Concepts did a truly wonderful job providing uplighting at our wedding! The facility was beautiful prior to the lighting, however the uplighting truly made the wedding reception STUNNING! If you're like me, and trying to have a wedding without a ridiculous budget, you probably are thinking this is something you should skip. My response? IT'S WORTH EVERY PENNY! My guests were so impressed with the lighting and having it in the photos is a wonderful reminder of how truly magical the day was!

Jon at Event Lighting Concepts was great. He helped us figure out exactly what we wanted for our day. He even met with my husband at our venue and set the room up with lights because he was was having a hard time envisioning what up-lighting would do to the room. Jon was great, always quick to reply and very friendly.
