Best DJ Around!
Doug was amazing! He matched our vibes perfectly and always kept the dance floor full. He was really conscious about one of our artists who have more slower songs and incorporated them into different parts of the night, making sure we got to hear a lot of their music! He made everything so seamless throughout the night! He even joined in on our sunglasses pictures! -

We couldn't have asked for a better DJ for our wedding. From our first conversation with Doug through the end of the reception, he was incredibly professional, responsive, and easy to work with. Communication was excellent throughout the entire planning process, and he always made us feel confident that everything was under control. One thing that really stood out was his flexibility. As anyone who has planned a wedding knows, not everything goes exactly according to plan. He handled every change seamlessly, adapted on the fly, and kept the event running smoothly without missing a beat. His years of experience were obvious. He offered valuable advice and suggestions that helped us make decisions and avoid potential issues we hadn't even considered. Most importantly, the dance floor was absolutely packed all night long. He did an amazing job reading the crowd, mixing music that kept guests of all ages engaged, and creating an incredible atmosphere. We've had so many guests tell us how much fun they had and how great the music was. If you're looking for a wedding DJ who is professional, communicative, adaptable, experienced, and knows how to keep the party going, I can't recommend DJ Doug highly enough. Doug was a fantastic wedding DJ! My husband and I dreamed of a packed dance floor all night at our wedding, and Doug delivered.
He was extremely organized and made us feel so comfortable before our big day. He made sure every detail was perfect and accommodated all our special requests. He was very quick to respond throughout the planning process.
We continued to get compliments from our guests weeks after the wedding about how fabulous Shattered Sound was / how lively our dance floor was all night.

From the moment we first spoke with Doug Nacker at Shattered Sound DJ Entertainment, we knew we were in great hands. He was super responsive and offered a lot of services for the price. Doug was easy to talk to, professional yet casual, which made the whole planning process feel low-pressure.
Before the wedding, Doug was incredibly organized with the wedding planner he provided but flexible enough to let us share our playlists and music vibes through Spotify instead of typing them all out. He connected directly with a friend who was playing saxophone during our grand entrance and made sure everything went smoothly. He reassured us not to stress about the music - we gave him a few ideas and he took care of the rest, which was one big thing off our to-do list.
On the big day, Doug absolutely nailed the ceremony cues - our recessional song started at the exact moment of our first kiss - PERFECTION. He kept the dance floor packed all night, transitioning songs seamlessly like a true club DJ. While we didn’t have many announcements, he handled each one with ease, helping the photographer wrangle guests for a group photo, cueing the bouquet toss, announcing late-night pizza, and letting everyone know when the shuttle buses arrived.
The music was exactly what we envisioned, Doug read the crowd beautifully, honored all our requests, and was even a great sport when the crowd demanded “one more song” after the last song. He also complimented us on our music taste, which felt like a huge win! For couples who don’t want to curate pre-ceremony, cocktail hour, or dinner music, Doug has a huge library ready to go, though he was happy to work with the specific songs we requested.
Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the music, and the full dance floor all night spoke for itself, people were literally running to catch the last bus because they didn’t want to leave! Doug created a perfect party atmosphere while keeping everything stress-free. We hardly had to check in with him at all during the day (aside from one quick timeline adjustment during dinner), because he had everything under control.

We are so incredibly grateful we chose Doug as our DJ for our wedding day! From start to finish, he was professional, easy to work with, and genuinely invested in making our day special.
Doug was unbelievably flexible—even when it poured rain the entire day and we had to shift our reception times around last-minute, he rolled with it all without missing a beat. His calm, can-do attitude made a stressful situation feel totally manageable, and we’ll always be thankful for that.
He followed our play list and do-not-play list exactly as we hoped, and he nailed every music cue for our ceremony perfectly—those little moments meant so much to us. Once the dance floor opened up, he kept the energy high with the perfect mix of songs that had all our guests dancing all night long.
We especially appreciated how organized and calm he was—handling transitions and announcements, while still feeling warm and approachable. It honestly felt like he was just as invested in our day as we were. Our guests haven’t stopped raving about how much fun they had on the dance floor!

We had an amazing reception!
Doug at Shattered Sound was A+, he went over and above normal DJ duties. He was spectacular! Our guests were impressed by his professionalism and efforts to help out in other areas of the reception. He really knew how to work the crowd, too, and play all the best songs. He really listened to our tastes and requests in music as well. We highly recommend him! -

Outstanding DJ!
Doug is an outstanding DJ! I have been to multiple events where he is providing the entertainment & the dance floor was packed the entire night for each event. So when it came to booking our DJ - we planned our wedding date around when he was available. He is great with communicating ahead of time how things will work so that your big day is stress free for you & making sure all of your requests get fulfilled. His set up is amazing with all of his lighting and video screens - with the package we chose! We also chose to use his ‘dancing on the cloud’ special effects for our first dance and the pictures turned out so beautiful! A special touch to our day that was unique to other weddings. Doug had our guests on the dance floor ranging from ages 1-85. He knows what songs get the guests to the floor & KEEP them out dancing. He made our night so much fun and we have had so many guests ask us for his name for their future events. If you’re looking to have a stress free day & the funnest night of your life - you have to book Shattered Sound DJ Entertainment. -

We cannot say enough wonderful things about our wedding DJ! From start to finish, they were professional, attentive, and truly made our wedding day unforgettable. The music selection was perfect, keeping the dance floor packed all night long.
One of the highlights was definitely the "dancing on the cloud" effect they provided during our first dance. It was absolutely magical and added such a special touch to the moment. Our guests were in awe, and it created the most beautiful atmosphere for our dance.

Doug was fun, energetic, and adapted well to our very diverse crowd. He was easy to work with and helped me in areas that I wasn't sure about. Budget wise he was what we considered affordable and had lots of options. We went ahead up room uplighting and we thought it was beautiful in our venue. Working with Doug was AMAZING!!! Doug was there though our ceremony, dinner and reception. Everything was perfect and he helped keep our day moving along on time. Doug was hangs down the easiest DJ to work with. He was able to meet our needs for an outdoor ceremony and an indoor reception. I had no idea what music to select for a procession and recession. He was able to provide different examples to choose one that worked best with our style. He had two large monitors to display pictures during the entire reception. Our families loved it! Doug was also able to meet our wide variety in taste in music with ease. Our first dance was amazing! During the first dance, he had a smoke machine that stayed toward the ground and made it look like we were dancing on a cloud. I can't wait to get those pictures back! If you want to make sure your wedding is perfect, and your guests have fun, Doug is must have. -
