Costa Rica Elopement
Mariana was incredible. From our first video chat I felt comfortable and trusted her. She helped plan our elopement in Costa Rica (we live in the US) seamlessly. She gave so many ideas and recommendations on venu/area. She provided ideas for an experience for us after the ceremony. She connected me with a hair and makeup artist who did a wonderful job. She is professional yet relaxed and it shows in our photos! We are so happy that we met her. Mariana and Ari created a heartfelt video of our wedding day that we will treasure forever. Mariana is so talented-- she made all of us feel at ease and managed to capture wonderful photos of our wedding and reception. She gave us easy-to-follow instructions so that our photos all look relaxed and not at all posed. I was a little hesitant about some of her playfulness with light and movement, but her instincts were spot-on. Our reception photos in particular capture the spirit and energy of our guests and the party, and her play with light just enhances the photos. They're full of movement and fun to look at. If you’re doing a destination wedding in Costa Rica and looking for a photographer that will capture all the moments of your day beautifully and have fun while doing it, Mariana is the one! We just received all our pictures and I am so thankful that the universe made us cross paths and that I went with her. She has so much PASSION and love for what she does and I promise you that there’s nothing better than that in a wedding photographer.
COMMUNICATION:
It was super easy to communicate with her and she responded very quickly over email. We initially set up a Zoom call and after meeting with her, I booked the date. We emailed over 10 months and I never once felt nervous about her being able to get the job done. She knows these venues and photo spots like the back of her hand!
PROFESSIONALISM:
She is a true master of this profession and the proof is in the pictures and way she handled the day. My husband and I requested different shots with our wedding parties so she was constantly running up and down the building to get all our requests, but she made it seem so seamless! We also had a heavy thunder/rain storm for hours, raining us out of the original ceremony, portrait photos, and reception location. She did an amazing job finding alternate locations and capturing photos in the less than ideal weather
ATTITUDE:
Mariana is the absolute BEST human being ever! She radiates this infectious positive energy and you can tell she loves what she does. Let me tell you that there’s nothing better than having someone give their 110% into their job while having fun with it. It made me feel so confident in knowing I chose the right person! We paid for an extra hour, for a total of 9 hours, and she stayed smiling and present the whole time even though it was a long day. She even danced with us when I pulled on the dance floor and she’s definitely got some moves!
She was worth every single penny and I truly could not imagine having as much as I did without her there to capture the day. Since we got rained out of our beach location, I already know that we will back for one our anniversaries and that I will be booking her again! If her photos and artistry are your style, just reach out to her now. It’ll be the best wedding decision you’ll make. -

April 2024 Wedding - Punta Islita Costa Rica!
Marianna was our photographer for our rehearsal dinner and wedding in April 2024. We chose Marianna because we felt her work reflected the emotion of each moment. We did not want typical staged wedding photos, but an accurate depiction of the incredible memories we made during our special weekend in Costa Rica. I am so happy we chose Marianna because she delivered exactly what we were looking for. While it has only been a few months since our wedding, we look back fondly at our photos and are so grateful to Marianna and her ability to capture the weekend.
Marianna was very easy to work with. She was easy to communicate with (which can be very difficult in Costa Rica) and a true professional during the wedding weekend. She made us feel very comfortable during the photos and brought a lot of fun energy.

Best Photography and Videography in Costa Rica
We will never be able to thank Mariana and her wife enough for the way they captured our wedding on 5/4/24. We reached out to Mariana via email when starting to plan our wedding, and within days we were on a zoom call to meet each other. We chose Mariana because of her LGBT experience, as we did not want to have the awkward poses that commonly occur in LGBT weddings; rather, we wanted a more candid approach to photos for a more natural feel to the photos. It took us no time at all to realize just how special our wedding day was going to be captured, even though we had over a year to go from time of booking.
Mariana, her wife, and the affiliated videographers were exceptionally selfless when it came to finding ways to capture the perfect shot at our wedding. From standing in tall windows many stories up to walking into the ocean fully clothed, this team made every attempt possible to give us a lifetime of memories. Within 3 days, we already had our first look photos, with the remaining being delivered shortly after. We cannot help but cry every time we watch videos created from our wedding, because they are just that stunningly beautiful. You would be foolish to not make Mariana your photographer. Her kindness, laughter, and passion make for the most incredible content, and all your wedding guests will fall in love with her, too.

Elopement of our Dreams
Mariana was very helpful, right from the beginning. During our first contacts, from distance, she took care to get to know us and understand our tastes and expectations. We didn't have to worry about any bureaucracy, not only was she the photographer, she also organized the rest of the things (bouquet, notary, witnesses, etc.). Mariana is talented, caring, and fun!
We found Mariana through a quick search and instantly liked with her photo galleries, prices, and ease of communication. After meeting her over Zoom we knew we had the one. We didn’t know exactly where in Costa Rica we were going to elope but Mariana helped us along our entire process. Even when I was incredibly indecisive, she was flexible and was able to meet us at any location or city we had been deciding between. She provided advice and guidance while never making me feel pressured to rush a decision from a distance. Her passion and love of the Guanacaste region helped us make a final decision to elope in Tamarindo. On the day of our elopement, Mariana was so fun and it felt like we had a true friend photographing our private elopement. After our ceremony, she loaded us up in her vehicle and drove us around town. In our elopement session we received beautiful getting ready photos, ceremony photos, venue photos, beach photos and around town photos. She captured the ideas we had perfectly and she added her own stops on top of the ones we knew we wanted. We loved the playfulness and energy she brought to our day. We received our photographs soon after our elopement as well. It was wonderful being able to share our elopement with family and friends so soon after our return from our trip. We 100% recommend Mariana if you want a fun and adventurous elopement/wedding. She will work with you every step of the way and the photos will be beautiful :) -

60 days prior to our wedding, the photographer we had originally hired decided she was going to charge us double what we we originally quoted. In a panic I started emailing other photographers. Mariana responded within a couple hours and still had our date available. It ended up being a total blessing in disguise. We couldn't have asked for a better photographer for our wedding day. Everything went perfectly and Mariana captured every important moment including making sure we got every picture on my shot list. I truly believe everything happened for a reason and we were meant to have her all along. Mariana made us feel so comfortable, when we were up at the altar during the ceremony we didn't even know she was right next to us! Highly HIGHLY recommend Sharing Life Photography. Amazinggg!
Mariana's energy is so refreshing! From our first conversation I knew she was the perfect fit for my wedding photographer and Videographer. She was very professional and welcomed any ideas that I had. She captured all the perfect moments, including the fun offguards! You can tell this is a true passion for her because she builds relationships with her clients naturally and has fun while shooting. My wedding was 3 months ago and we still keep in contact! I wish I could bring her to Texas to be my personal photographer for everything, but since I can't, it just gives me another reason to fly to Costa Rica 😉
I can't remember the videographer's name of the top of my head (sorry), but my video was better than I expected. Everyone was blown away! Unfortunately my mom passed 2 months after my wedding, but he captured our first dance and I watch it everyday. The memories this team captured was worth every penny. Thank you so much!!! -

Our sunrise photoshoot was PERFECTION! Mariana is a TRUE ARTIST!
Mariana is the absolute BEST! She is an amazing photographer and captured the most precious moments that we will cherish forever. From the second we started to communicate via email, I knew Mariana was going to be great to work with. My husband and I got married in Costa Rica in 2016. We came back for an anniversary trip and to celebrate 15 years together. An anniversary photoshoot was a bit of a last minute decision... so we were very lucky that Mariana was available and was so quick to respond! She was extremely receptive to my vision and offered suggestions for locations that she knew were going to be beautiful. We ended up ended up visiting Costa Rica during rainy season so the weather was very unpredictable. We initially wanted a sunset photoshoot but due to rain it couldn't happen. Mariana was very flexible and was willing to meet at the location for photos at sunrise. My husband and I felt a bit like zombies as it was quite early for us...however within minutes of meeting her she put all of our awkwardness to ease. She is warm, friendly, hilariously funny, and made our morning a blast. We had the best time taking pictures with her and are in absolute AWE of the results. We would recommended Mariana to anyone!!!

Mariana the magnificent!
I cannot speak more highly of Mariana. She did our daughters senior pictures and family pictures as well. She is creative, easy going, funny, kind and professional! She makes you feel comfortable and the session is FUN. (Even my 19 and 12 year old boys had fun). She didn’t rush us at all and made amazing suggestions. Wow! We just did our engagement photos with Mariana and we were blown away by how wonderful the entire experience was. Wedding Photos
Raquel took our wedding photos and it was a joy to work with her. She made both my husband my myself feel comfortable in front of the camera and got us some beautiful pictures. I don’t even know where to begin.. I am so incredibly grateful to have stumbled upon Sharinf Life Photography. From the start, Mariana and Raquel have been gracious, attentive and personable.
When I reached out to Mariana she responded right away!! We set up a Skype call to discuss both of our visions and the rest is history!! How many other photographers take the time to Skype with you for for almost an hour BEFORE you’ve even committed to working with them?!
We signed the contract and sent over the first half of the deposit ( very easy process and very affordable for that quality of work). From the point I contributed to stay in contact with Mariana and she was an amazing resource in helping me finalize other wedding details. Since I am based out of California she reached out to some florists for me and made sure I felt comfortable with everything for my wedding. Keep in mind this is totally outside of her job description and was just doing this out of the kindness of her heart.
Mariana joined us for rehearsal dinner just to meet us and our family and everyone instantly loved her. She makes everyone feel comfortable and just lights up a room.
The next day Raquel and Mariana showed up at 3pm and started taking photos of us getting ready. They are honestly the best dynamic duo on the planet. Both Raquel and Mariana are kind, funny, professional & do a fantastic job of making you feel at ease when taking pictures.
The entire process was seamless and quick— we have a large blended family and they managed to handle it with total grace.
After the family photos, Raquel and Mariana drove us in their personal car to Playa Hermosa and we did a sunset beach session. We had so much fun and it felt natural and candid.
When we got back to the house all of our wedding guests (including me and my husband) jumped in the pool. This was Mariana and Raquel’s idea and we all LOVED it.
The day after the wedding they made an extra special movie for us of our wedding party jumping in the pool. Again, that was just something they did to be kind and thoughtful. In addition, they send you preview photos the NEXT day so that you have some pictures to share with family and on social media. How many photographers do that?! I have friends and family memebers who wait 5 months to see a wedding picture. The pictures are BEAUTIFUL.
Not only are they fantastic and professional photographers, they are also just wonderful human beings.
I promise you will not be disappointed. I am convinced they are the greatest duo on the planet!!! -
