Shane was very personable and easy to work with. He clicked well with our bridal party and we had a good time working with him and his assistant our wedding day. When I started looking for photographers, I got nervous because everyone had a time limit (8 hours, 10 hours, etc.) Obviously, the longer the time, the more expensive. We found Shane on WeddingWire and he had outstanding reviews, as well as his photo quality looked very natural (not overly edited), and they all looked gorgeous! And the cherry on top was that for our wedding, the package we booked with him did not come with a time limit! He said whatever time he is needed, thats when he will start and then we have the whole day with him and a certain amount of of hours at the reception as well.
We are still waiting for the final album from our wedding (it was just last week), but the sneak peaks he sent us are STUNNING! He is very creative with the space he works in and is good at telling us how to pose and what to do with our bodies (my husband and I are very awkward in front of a camera), but he made us both look so natural and comfortable!
He not only knows how to work a camera, but he is incredibly kind, funny, and personable as well. He is very easy to talk to and during our wedding asked us a few times before we left each location if there were any other photos we'd like or if he had missed anything else we may have wanted. Overall, it was wonderful working with Shane and I will definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a photographer! 10/10 -

Choosing a photographer in my opinion is the most important decision you make when planning a wedding, so I really did my due diligence. Shane was the top recommended photographer from my coordinator and after looking up his work I knew he was my first choice. Thankfully he was available on my wedding date and wow did he not disappoint! Shane is not only a phenomenal photographer but he is a lovely & professional person. He is excellent at what he does and it shows through his work ethic & his photos. I had several people come up to my raving about how great Shane is. He is someone you can 100% trust with capturing the most important day of your life. I can't recommend him enough. -

Absolutely amazing photos
We booked with Shane for our wedding next year 2023. The package we purchased included free engagement photos and can I just say wow. The vision he had and the way the photos came out we couldn’t be more pleased! Not only are the photos absolutely amazing but his service is hard to beat. We had all of our edited photos by the next day with a sneak peak a couple hours later. Right then and there I knew I made the best decision in hiring him for our big day! September 2023 can’t come fast enough! Thank you Shane! ❤️ -

Outstanding experience 10/10
Shane was amazing, he thought of everything and captured moments we surely would have missed without his expertise. We have gorgeous wedding photos because he set up the best shots! A huge bonus is that while some friends wait months to see their wedding photos, we had a preview posted within 24 hours and had our photos in hand 7 to 10 days later. I can’t say enough good things about having Shane capture our day! -

Amazing and so fun/easy to work with!
Shane was amazing and so easy to work with! We hired Shane for our wedding photography, and he was kind, professional, and energetic. You can tell he loves what he does, and is fantastic at capturing your day, especially the candid moments. He makes you feel special and comfortable behind the camera. From the first communication with Shane, I knew he was perfect. He is quick at responding and provided a great timeline for us right away that we were able to build our day off of. Shane has so much experience and was familiar with the venue so knew where the best places to take pics were! Woke up the next morning to 30 preview pictures from the night and could not be more thankful for this since most of our friends/family did not take pictures on their phones. I would absolutely recommend Shane to anyone looking for a photographer, especially for your wedding! -

Shane was a fantastic choice for our wedding. He made everything run so smoothly and kept us on schedule. It was so relieving to have such a professional who knew what they were doing -- I was a nervous wreck all day about the logistics and the moving parts, but Shane helped keep everything moving right along and eased my nerves. The photos he took are AMAZING and we will treasure them for the rest of our lives. He did a great job getting posed and candid shots of us and our wedding party. And, the best part is he got the photos to us SO QUICKLY! While he was taking photos all day he would show some to us, the night of the wedding he sent us about 30 teaser photos so that we could see and pass them along to friends, and he sent us the link to our entire album within a week. We are so happy we went with Shane, he is a true professional and a fantastic photographer. -

Best photographer
Shane is the most passionate, genuine and talented photographer I have ever met. My sister-in-law used Shane for her wedding and I was very excited when we were able to hire Shane! We even chose our wedding date around his availability!
Shane took our engagement and wedding photos, and both sessions turned out absolutely beautiful! He captured our wedding day so perfectly and delivered our wedding photos extremely quick! We even had 40 sneak pictures the day after the wedding! (Brides, you want this!)
Shane is very talented and efficient! He arrived early and stayed late for us to capture all details! We wanted to make our cocktail hour and he ensured we did! He is also SO FUN to work with and goes above and beyond!

Where do I begin with Shane? Shane is hands down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. He is professional and kind especially under high stress situations. He was so calm and collected our entire wedding (even when we were racing the rain going from location to location to get some awesome forest shots that I was longing for!) He was willing to do anything including literally getting in the mud to get the best shot! Shane’s teamwork was seamless with our videographers and all other vendors. He’s also great with dogs which was perfect because we were able to get our doggos in our engagement and wedding photos! His photography partner, Wendy, was also extremely kind and professional. The true vivid colors of his photographs make you feel like you’re right back in that moment in time again when you look at them. The clarity that these memories hold is worth more than anything. We’ve already gotten more photos taken with him for Christmas photos and I couldn’t be any happier! He definitely got himself a few forever customers with our family! Thank you again and a million times over for everything, Shane! -

We were lucky enough to book Shane for our last minute engagement photos and our wedding day. He helped us pick a venue as we were not from the area, and got to know us and our styles so that the options he presented us with were all enticing. The photos came out magnificent. I didn’t think it could get better, but once I saw the photos from our wedding day, I was proven wrong. At least a handful of the pictures look like they should be in magazines. On the cover even. Shane has an incredible eye and talent behind the camera and is easy to work with, kind, and good at giving direction. I have never felt more beautiful than in the photos Shane took. I would hire him over and over again if I had to go back. We just received our Italian Leather album and Shane’s photo selection and the sheer quality are exquisite. Well worth every penny!! -

Absolute amazing person who does amazing work.
Let me start by saying how amazing Shane is. Shane did our engagement session and then did our postponed pandemic wedding. He was so easy to work with when we decided to reschedule our wedding from 2020 to 2021. He made the process quick and easy. He was responsive to any and all emails and answered every question we had.
Shane was ABSOLUTELY amazing on our wedding day. It was almost 100 degrees out in July but his excitement for taking photos never stopped. He had us feeling so special on such a huge day. He drove all over from church to venue to each parents house to take the specific photos we really wanted. In addition, he was so easy and so fun to work with. Without a doubt Shane will capture your special day and all of life's moments in between with gorgeous photos that will last a life time. I cannot recommend Shane enough. He truly is such a wonderful person who does amazing work. You wont regret it if you use Shane for your big day or for any event. Thank you Shane for making our day so special and for capturing all of our favorite memories. We hope you had as much fun as we did! -

I would recommend Shane for all photography needs, especially weddings! Shane did our engagement photos and was our wedding photographer and we were blown away by him. Candid Photos at their Best
Shane’s photography is always incredible. From the smallest details to the full family photographs, he was able to capture all the special moments of our wedding night. He and the second photographer were never in the way and were able to catch things that we didn’t even notice on our wedding night. Looking back, we were able to see through Shane’s photography how truly special it all was. We also received our photos in two weeks which we were very pleased about. We highly recommend Shane Clemison Photography! -

I cannot recommend Shane enough! He did our wedding in July (yes, this review is long overdue...) and everything was AMAZING! He was on time/early on the day of the wedding, and was so kind to stay an hour late to take our send off photos. The photos turned out wonderful! -

Exactly what we valued in a wedding photographer!
Shane was absolutely amazing to work with. We had many compliments from family and friends about his personality and focus during our wedding. Every email was answered almost immediately, never leaving us to wonder and his work was ready in the most incredible time frame! Our photos look professional, but are not overly done - they still look natural and truly reflect us as a couple. With the best price and greatest quality, Shane was an easy choice. Highly Recommended. -

Best wedding photographer ever!!!!
Shane’s work speaks for itself. He did both our engagement and wedding pictures and they are incredible. He is fun, efficient, and super easy to work with. He’s extremely responsive to questions and concerns. Shane had never been to our venue and went on his own time to check it out so he could get an idea of where the best shots could be taken on our wedding day. He went out of his way to grab us during sunset so we have incredible sunset pictures on the water. The best part was we got our pictures back within a few weeks! I know brides who have waited months to get their pictures back. Our experience with Shane was one we’ll never forget. I’m recommending him to everyone I know! -

We first met Shane Cleminson last summer when he photographed my brother's wedding. After seeing their gorgeous pictures, we didn't give it a second thought - we had to have Shane be our photographer too! Shane will go 110% for you - even if that means crawling through bushes or laying on the ground to get the perfect shot! He is super friendly, easy to get along with, and comes with many ideas. He came early to scout out our venue and stayed late to make sure all important moments were captured. On top of being a very reasonable price for his high quality of work, Shane's turnaround time on sending our pictures was impressive! My whole family loved working with Shane, and you will too! -

Perfect Photographer to Capture Our Special Day
Shane was a blast to work with for our wedding. He was personable, professional, and efficient! We even sent him a few photo ideas before the big day and he made sure to capture them all. There wasn’t a moment that went by that Shane was standing by without clicking away. He gave the groom and groomsmen direction on where, when and how to pose for their pre-wedding photos and had a ton of fun walking around town with the bride and bridal party having taking photos in different unique poses like in front of the beach, in the middle of the street (holding up traffic) and on trolleys. Shane advised us before the wedding that we should make sure to keep our family close after the ceremony so that we don’t waste any time trying to gather people for photos. That advice was clutch as we were able to QUICKLY get through all of the official family wedding photos so that people could enjoy the cocktail hour. Throughout the entire reception Shane was in the middle of the action capturing moments that we literally had no idea took place so seeing them in the photos was hilarious. He showed us photos onsite and turned around our photos MUCH quicker than anticipated. They came out AMAZING. We incredibly grateful that Shane agreed to travel out of his immediate area and partner with us on our special day. -

He helped with wedding timelines and really listened to what I wanted for the day. We are not a portrait type of couple. We wanted out photos to really capture the day and show the joy! My husband and I did our engagement photos with him in the Winter, as well as our wedding pictures in the Spring. Shane was quite the sport when doing our engagement pictures in the middle of a blizzard! He's fun to work with and creative with his shots. We chose the package that offered his 2nd photographer to come with too and her pictures were lovely as well; the more pics to choose from the better. It was actually hard to narrow down which our favorites were. We would definitely recommend Shane Cleminson Photography to anybody! -

I have so many wonderful things to say about my experience with them, that I don't know where to begin! Shane is the nicest guy I have ever met in my entire life, besides my husband of course ;)
He genuinely loves what he does and it shows in his work. If I emailed him with questions or concerns, he emailed me back usually within minutes! (which is rare for wedding vendors after you hire them). lol
My Engagement photos,Wedding photos and Video turned out Amazing!!! Not only that, he had my photos finished a week after the wedding! I was happily surprised :)
I could not be more pleased with every aspect of my experience with Apple Tree. I will recommend them to anyone that will listen!! -

Jessica Sent on 10/28/2012When my husband and I were searching for a photographer, Shane was the very first one we met and we liked him right away. I'm so glad that we selected Shane - he was wonderful. Chicago area brides you're lucky to have Shane in your area now - I feel sorry for the DC brides that won't get a chance to work with him. We had Shane take our engagement pictures, and he was accommodating in driving 2 hours to downtown DC to take them. The day of our wedding, he arrived early and took pictures of the venue and then got right to work by taking pictures as we got ready. He really gets into taking pictures - he was often laying on the ground in order to get the best shot. We received our pictures within 2 weeks of the wedding, and they are absolutely beautiful. I'm still going through them, but know there are a couple that I'd like in a different filter which Shane said is no problem to fix. I can't say enough about how wonderful Shane was during the wedding. He's a great photographer, and his photo packages are an INCREDIBLE value. I would highly recommend Shane as your wedding photographer. -

Stacy Sent on 06/27/2012I would highly recommend Shane as a wedding videographer. Shane was excellent in his communication before the wedding and the ease of the contract and payment process. Shane was early on the wedding day, extremely professional and was always around to get a good shot but never in the way. He truly was a pleasure to have around on the wedding day. We received our highlights video three weeks after the wedding and we LOVED it. It captured our day perfectly and was great to send to family and friends. We have received nothing but compliments.
We received our full wedding video a little less than a month after the wedding and loved watching every minute of it. Shane did such a good job of editing the footage, selecting music for the video and making the presentation look perfect. We were really surprised how quickly we received it because I was expecting it to take 3 to 4 months.
The wedding day goes by so quickly that the bride and groom don't really get to notice the little things or see everything that is happening at the wedding. Shane really created an amazing video which we will have for a lifetime and now we can see things from the wedding that we didn't really get to enjoy on the day of. I could not be happier with our decision to use Apple Tree Studios!! -

Also I had my fancy little wedding DVD mailed to me within the month! I am so glad that I decided to have a videographer at the wedding, I have already re-watched our wedding day a few dozen times. And I am ESPECIALLY glad that I had the fortune of choosing THIS company in specific. All around great job! :) -
