  Just Amazing

  Shana was one of the first vendors I hired. I knew even before my husband proposed I needed Shana. I have been in two other weddings where my friends used Shana's services for bridal and bridesmaid makeup. Each time my makeup was impeccable and did not move. My now husband would even comment on how great my makeup looked at those weddings much later. Clearly I needed Shana for my wedding as well. Every time she delivers gorgeous looks. She is fun and friendly and great to work with. I could not have been happier with how my makeup turned out. I would recommend Shana to any friend or even a stranger on the street.

  Highly Recommend Shana!

  Would highly recommend Shana for anything makeup and skin related! She did my bridal wedding makeup, and was the most personable, friendly and fun person to work with. She is very knowledgeable about what looks best on each person's face and was able to make us look and help us feel stunning on my special wedding day. She was professional and I would recommend her for anyone looking for makeup services.

  My husband was wow'd

  Shana did a beautiful job for mine, my bridesmaids, mother and mother-in law's makeup. Everyone looked beautiful and everyone loved their makeup. My husband was crying when he saw me at the alter and as soon as we ended the ceremony he kept telling me how beautiful my makeup looked and that I looked amazing. I had also never seen my mom with such great makeup done. She loved it (and older moms are typically fussy haha!) Everything stayed put the whole day even when it was hot. Highly recommend Shana and her makeup artistry!

  Shana knows make-up!

  Shana Beals is amazing! I have never felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day and a huge reason for that is Shana. Shana ensured mine and my ladies’ make-up was classic, natural and enhanced all of our best features! She was so fun to hang out with on our wedding morning as we got ready too!   Amazing Service and a Fun Time!

  Shana makes you feel not only beautiful but also like she’s a close friend on your wedding. Shana makes up 7 people on my wedding day from grandma, mom, and all the friends and each one looked amazing. Even grandma got eyelashes since Shana makes them comfortable and classy. Thank you!

  Shana is my girl. I have had the pleasure of going to Shana a few times before the big day and she always exceeds my expectations!! She made me feel totally amazing and made me look incredible on my wedding day! I will 100% be visiting her for other events too!!

  If I could give Shana 6 stars I would! I was scrambling to find someone to do my makeup for engagement photos and luckily contacted Shana. She was able to get me in the day of the photo shoot and I loved the way she did my makeup so much that I had her also do make up for me and my bridesmaids at my wedding. I can't say enough good things, she is very flexible with her time and will go out of her way to accommodate you.

  Shana did my makeup for the wedding along with a couple of my bridesmaids and mother-in-law. She had been highly recommended to me by a friend who had worked with her previously and I am so happy I listened to her. Shana did such a beautiful job on all of the faces she did that day and the makeup looked pristine the entire day. We did a makeup trial a few months prior and I had made a couple notes on what I would liked changed for the actual wedding day and she did exactly what I was hoping for day of! She did such a great job and everyone looked so beautiful. Highly recommend!

  I love Shana! She deserves every single 5 star review she receives. Shana encompasses everything you would want in a MUA - she's crazy talented, professional, and so much fun to hang out with! In less than a year, I've had Shana do my make up 4 times already (two of which were for my engagement photos and wedding). On my wedding day, Shana was on time and ready to rock and roll. My mom did NOT want to get her make up done because she doesn't like the cakey over the top look. However after seeing Shana's work, she was sold. Shana is able to enhance your features so you look amazing, but still like yourself.
  
  I recommend her to any of my friends who are getting married or are just wanting to look their best for any occasion. Whether you know what kind of look you're going for or completely clueless, she'll work with you to make sure you're more than happy with the end result. I just wish I lived in Sacramento so I could have her do my make up for ALL events!

  Shana is AMAZING! Cannot say enough great things about her. I had her do my makeup for my engagement photos as well as another wedding where I am a bridesmaid. I received so many compliments and everything stayed put all night long! She will go above and beyond and if you are in the need for a hair stylist, she has great recommendations.

  Shana is simply the best: she works incredibly fast, she's super fun and funny, and your makeup will LAST. She did my makeup at 7:45 AM for a 5 PM wedding, and it was still perfect for my day-after brunch.

  I got married in October and Shana did my make-up. I can't tell you how many compliments I got on how beautiful I looked! She is an awesome make-up artist, works very quickly, and very friendly and fun. My make- up stayed on all night even though it was warm and I was on the dance floor alot of the time. If you want to look your absolute best, Shana is the one to have for your wedding!

  Shana did makeup for my engagement photos, and 5/2/15 wedding day makeup for me, mothers of the bride/groom and one of my bridesmaids. It was all just as awesome and perfect as I'd hoped from her reviews! She gave me the very natural look I wanted, to make me look and feel like my very best self. It lasted all day and night during our outdoor reception where I sweated, cried tears of joy and danced all night, and my makeup still looked great when I slept in it and went to my farewell brunch the next morning, false lashes included! She was always responsive via email and phone calls, reliable, punctual, professional, easy going and fun to chat with. Shana even gave me the great idea to ask our hotel for a small conference room space for the 13 of us ladies getting ready from 7:30am-11:30am. The hotel comped the room and basically turned it into a salon for us, which was super fun and one of my favorite wedding day memories (though I'd recommend a getting ready space with a window for natural light). Thanks a million, Shana!

  Shana did makeup for my engagement photos as well as makeup for me, my bridal party, and my mother-in-law on my wedding day. She is not the cheapest, but also not the most expensive makeup artist around, and I think the quality of service is worth the price.
  
  I was very pleased with how my engagement photo makeup turned out. She did a great job achieving the natural look I wanted. She made me look like the best possible version of myself. The only thing I wanted to change was the lashes - I explained to Shana in an email what I was looking for and, on the morning of the wedding, Shana picked the most perfect lashes.
  
  We all had a great time hanging out and chatting with her and Tina Romo (hairstylist) as we got ready, the morning of the wedding, in our hotel room. I was a little worried when her airbrush machine broke before we even got started (I thought that might be the moment that my inner bridezilla would end up coming out!), but Shana is just as good with regular brushes as she is with the airbrush and, honestly, I think my makeup looked just as good in pictures, if not better! We got ready starting at 8:30 am the morning of the wedding and the makeup still looked great at 10pm! My mother-in-law even had her eye makeup on the next day and it still looked great! Everyone looked and felt beautiful!

  Shana did my makeup as well as some of my bridal parties makeup. She did an AMAZING job! I don't normally wear a lot of makeup so I always worry when I get my makeup done professionally. Shana was so great and made me look perfect without looking too done up or making me feel out of my element. My makeup lasted all day and still looked good in the morning! The next time I need to get my makeup done for a special occasion I will be giving her a call!

  I can't even find the words to express how amazing Shana was! We contacted her only a few weeks before my wedding, and she went out of her way to fit us into her schedule. I rarely wear makeup, so it was important to me to not feel too "done up," and Shana definitely accomplished that. She made me (and my mom and sisters) feel flawlessly beautiful. Her airbrush technique is so effective, I slept with it still on, and was able to wear it to lunch and dinner the next day! She also gave me powder and lip gloss for touch ups, which was awesome. Next time I need my makeup done, I will definitely call Shana!

  Shana Beals is the most amazing makeup artist around! I SO enjoyed meeting and working with her to create my dream wedding-day look. She is so very professional and thorough, and an absolute blast to work with!! I can't get over how she made me look a more perfect version of myself on our wedding day - I have worked with other makeup artists who have washed me out, or made me look not like myself - but Shana's work made me look and feel so beautiful. Her makeup looked so pure and natural on all our wedding photos...I couldn't be happier!! Thank you, Shana!!

  Shana is the BEST! Not only was she so sweet and fun to spend the day with but she has some serious skills! She means it when she says that her make up will last ALL DAY! It did. My face looked the exact same morning until night- even after crying and dancing all night! She made me feel like a million bucks and I was so happy with how beautiful she made my mom and mil! They wear a very small amount of make up and she made them look stunning! She had a total of 7 girls for make up and not one of them was disappointed! Each and everyone of them were so happy with how hot they looked :) I would strongly recommend Shana to every bride- and I have!

  I love Shana, she did my makeup for my engagement pictures as well as my wedding. She also did make up for my bridal party, mother and mother in law as well as some friends. They all looked phenomenal. She made all of us feel so beautiful and was able to make everyone look like the most gorgeous versions of themselves possible. Best of all the makeup didn’t budge all night and looked just as good start to finish. She was super great to work with and a prompt communicator. She has a fabulous energy and attitude that is a joy to be around. She was also incredibly flexible with me and was able to accommodate a very large group flawlessly. She is punctual, professional, courteous and just an amazing talent. I plan on keeping her on speed dial for any time I need to look fabulous!

  Shana is the ultimate make up artist. She is so incredibly amazing to work with and her skills are like DaVinci. She is very professional, has a fabulous personality, and is gorgeous herself! Her prices are reasonable, and her equipment is top notch. How she managed to do full airbrush make up on 7 people in only 4 hours is amazing. Everyone, and we had a diverse group of skin tones and complexions, looked flawless and beautiful. And she is very approachable if you want to change your look a bit (add eyeliner or lip color etc). The only regret that came up that day was from the girls would opted not to have her do their make up. Thank you Shana and I look forward to working with you again in the future. Thank you for making me a beautiful bride.

  LOVE LOVE LOVE Shana Beals. She responds timely to emails and questions, she showed up perfectly on time the day-of (very very very important), and she is an expert genius rockstar make-up artist. I didn't even need to show her pictures of what I wanted done for my bridal party, she knew exactly what to do. Her expertise is the natural yet beautiful look and she's mastered it. My husband hates heavy make-up, but Shana's application looked so natural yet sexy that even he gave a stamp of approval.

  Shana was AWESOME! My trial with her went very smoothly and after describing exactly what I wanted and showing her my dress for my wedding Shana made sure that my makeup complimented everything! She understood exactly what I wanted and made magic happen.
  
  On the day of my wedding she was not only early but was friendly with all my attendants, the other vendors (which is huge!!!!), and my family members. Even though we had only planned for 6 makeup sittings when a few of my family members asked if they too could get their makeup done and she not only was gracious but did a fabulous job on all of them. Shana uses top quality makeup and instruments and has a GREAT attitude. She adds positive energy to your wedding day!

  Shana was wonderful!! She is so down to earth and easy and fun to talk to. She made sure to create the look I wanted and everything felt so natural, like I wasn't even wearing makeup. She included application of eyelashes as well and they were the most comfortable I'd ever had. Her makeup didn't budge at all during the day. It was foolproof. I did my trial the day of my engagement photos and it was incredibly hot that day but again that makeup didn't budge in the slightest and the pictures turned out beautiful. Shana is great at what she does and is a wonderful person!! Could not have asked for anyone better!!!

  Amazing artist! She responds to inquiries right away and is accommodating when her schedule permits. I needed her with just a few days notice for a photo session and she fit me in! Unfortunately for us she is a busy girl and books up weddings fast so don't hesitate to hire her.
  
  She is such a pro that she can whip a bridesmaid's makeup out in 30 minutes! When you have a large party this is so important! Most people don't realize how long it takes to get everyone ready. With just a little bit of feedback she will make you feel and look better than you knew possible!

  Shana Beals is a great makeup artist to work with. She is extremely responsive and does excellent work. I absolutely loved my wedding makeup, as did my family members whose makeup Shana also did. Everyone also loved having Shana with us while we got ready. She is personable and funny and made everyone feel at ease. I would highly recommend Shana!

  Shana recently did the wedding make-up for myself and my entire wedding party. I don't know that much about make-up and a couple of my bridesmaids tend to be more of the athletic type and don't spend too much time with make-up. After Shana was done, my bridesmaids were GORGEOUS. I tend to be more shy and don't go for big, bold, and dramatic, but I trusted Shana and what she recommended for the wedding. And she was right, I never felt more beautiful! And the pictures that we have so far look amazing. With the airbrush, the make-up felt so light, we never even noticed. And of course, it stayed on all night long! Shana worked so well in tandem with my hairdresser. Everything went so smoothly, and everyone was done on time.
  
  I first contacted Shana a year before my wedding. Every time I've e-mailed her, she's gotten back to me within a day, if not within minutes. She is the epitome of professionalism. Not only that, she is so easy to talk to while in the make-up chair. I'm so happy she was a part of my wedding day, she truly made it special. I would definitely call Shana again if I wanted make-up done for other occasions.

  I first met Shana at my sister’s wedding. My sister had hired her to do makeup for her bridal party. It was great because I was able to get a “trial run” for my wedding. I loved her work, so I decided to hire her for my wedding.
  
  It was important for me that I still looked like me on my wedding day...but a better version of me. I shared this with Shana during my wedding makeup trial. Shana did my makeup in 30 minutes, and I loved it. She is super-fast but makes you look gorgeous without caking on a bunch of makeup. I don’t wear a lot of makeup on a daily basis, so it was hard for me to imagine how I would look on my wedding day. After the trial, I was confident that I would look beautiful but still look like me.
  
  Shana made me, my bridal party, and my mom look absolutely stunning but natural. Our makeup lasted all day and night. Not only is Shana an amazing makeup artist but also extremely sweet, fun, friendly, easy-going and professional. I would hire her again in a heartbeat!

  Shana was so amazing and she made me and my bridal party look absolutely stunning on my wedding day! She is an absolute professional, she worked with all the quirks that happened during the day and she really did such a great job. I am so happy I found her even though she is a super busy lady. I couldn't get a trial done since she was so busy, but I trusted she would do a good job and I was right. I can't wait to get my pro pics back because my makeup probably will make them come out even better. I don't normally wear a lot of makeup, so I knew I had to have someone do it for me. You will not be disappointed with her artistic magic!

  Shana is the best! I have recently moved to Sacramento and was so glad to have found her! She is an expert in skin care and makeup artistry. Shana has done several peels on me and has done a beautiful job on my makeup for special events. Book her for your wedding or special event... She books up fast!   I first met Shana at the Cal Expo Bridal Show in 2006. I started regular skin treatments about a year prior to my wedding and I was very impressed with her enthusiasm, knowledge of products, and most importantly, my results. Shana did bridal make up for myself and my wedding party in 2007 and we were all very pleased. I have referred several friends and family members to her for both skin and make up services and will continue to do so!

  I hired Shana to do my makeup for my wedding. I knew I was going to love Shana from our first phone contact. She provided detailed answers to all my questions. As a matter of fact, I loved her so much I decided to pay for all my bridesmaids to have their makeup done as well. One of my bridesmaids NEVER wears makeup and is very difficult to please. She loved what Shana had done for her so much she didn't want to remove her makeup. As a bride I wanted to look good all day. Shana had to reassure me over and over that my make up would last all day. She was right. I continue to look over my wedding photographs with a smile. Thank you Shana for doing such a great job!   Shana is such a delight to work with! When I met her for the first time during my trial, I was easily drawn to her high level of professionalism and amazing talent. Not only is she really friendly and very considerate to her clients needs, but she has also exceeded my expectations as my make-up artist on my wedding day. She only uses high-quality products, so my make-up was guaranteed to last the entire day… and it did!   I don't even know where to begin! Shana is pretty much amaze-balls! Yes, more than amazing, she's amazeballs. When I got married in 2010, I was naturally really nervous about a lot of things - one being make-up on my big day. I'm not an every day make-up-wearing kind of girl, so the thought of paying for such a service almost gave me a heart attack. I was on a really tight budget, but was encouraged by many of my married friends to invest in a good make-up artist because it really makes a difference in photos. Not having any kind of make-up experience, I really didn't even know where to begin. What I did know was that I wanted to look myself, nothing theatrical, and not worry about make-up melting off of my face because I knew it was going to be hot on my wedding day. And I did not want make-up caked on either. I looked around and found some great reviews on Yelp - didn't know where to begin, but I did find Shana on there. I decided to give her a call and immediately knew that I would be at ease with her. I can sense her fun, bubbly personality through the phone. I did my trial run with Shana before my engagement session, which was in SF. She's based in Sacramento. This allowed me to really test the staying power of my make-up. Our engagement session was about 3 hours long and my make-up remained flawless all evening. In fact, I felt so pretty that my [now] husband and I went out on a dinner date in the City after our shoot. I was really at ease after my trial session with Shana because I knew that I was in great hands on my wedding day. The crazy part is that on my wedding day, my make-up was done even better than before, which I didn't think was possible because it was so beautiful during my trial. What I love love love about Shana is her eye for beauty and taste. I told her that it was important for me to be myself on the day of the wedding, just a little spruced up, if you will. She said YES! She explained to me the differences between theatrical make-up, a night on the town kinda make-up, etc. I was really impressed, even moreso about her passion for make-up, beauty, and her genuine love for her clients. I remember her telling me, "I love your freckles! I dont want to cover them up. Your skin will look flawless and you'll still be you with your freckles!" I loved that. I felt so beautiful on my wedding day. I really believe in Shana and her work. The only thing I regret is that I couldn't afford to pay for my entire bridal party to get their make-up done by Shana. That would have been pretty awesome. I guess I can close with this...if you're looking for a make-up artist, look no further. I've done the research for you! LOL :-) Seriously, Shana is the bomb! She's so down to earth, super friendly, beautiful, so easy to work with, and she really listens to the desires of your heart. And yes, she is worth every penny.   Shana is AMAZING!!! She did the makeup for my sister's wedding. My sister looked gorgeous. She also did my mom and I. I cannot believe how amazing my mom looks in all the pictures. I've never seen her look more beautiful. I love how the makeup made me look flawless and it lasted ALL DAY. We got our makeup done at 8AM and it still looked amazing at 10PM that night!!

  Shana does amazing work, and I have and will continue to recommend her for both skincare and wedding make-up. She did my wedding make-up as well as my entire bridal party. Everyone was completed on time and looked gorgeous. She is an expert with eyes and does wonders with eyelashes!
  She even scheduled my trial for the day we did our engagement photos so that my make-up was perfect for those too. Looking back at my wedding day, one of the things that I am still most happy about is how I looked that day; my make-up was flawless and timeless, and was done right for photography without looking overdone or unnatural.

  Shana does a wide range of make-up from natural to dramatic. She listens to what you want and delivers. I have been back to her multiple times since my own wedding and she has never disappointed me nor my family and friends. Shana has been a staple in majority of our events and I tell everyone about her because I believe she is the best in make-up and skin care, not to mention always professional.

  You will not find a more talented, passionate, friendly, professional makeup artist than Shana. Her prices are very reasonable from my wedding research and trust me, I have done LOTS of research!
  
  She books up quickly, but I noticed she is very, very good about getting back to you and answering your emails in a timely manner. (Who wants to be left hanging!?) She really cares about her clients! She is so easy going and made me feel so relaxed on my wedding day. She deserves every bit of praise from fellow brides and non-brides yet she stays humble about her talents. She didn't make me look like a totally different person. I looked (and felt) like myself, but a totally enhanced version! Heck, I felt like a million bucks!=)

  Shana was great when going my makeup for my wedding. I didn't have a picture to show her what I wanted just an explanation and she got to work and produced beautiful results. I love makeup and am very picky how mine looks. Shana is also great to be around , her wonderful personality makes you feel comfortable. My makeup stayed on the entire night and I woke up with it looking just as it did the day before. My best friend also had her makeup done and being someone to never wears makeup she looked awesome and felt even better. Thank you Shana for helping make me look beautiful on my day !

Not only that, my hair gal was a flake (for my wedding) and last minute I knew I could depend on a good reference from Shana. She truly came through.   Shana is great to work with! When I first met Shana for my trial make up session, I knew I had made an excellent selection. It was my birthday and she did an amazing job! She has positive energy and works quickly.
  
  On the day of our wedding, she was on time and immediately got her station set up. We all enjoyed having her make us look our best! My mom looked beautiful and received compliments from everyone. It was wonderful to see her looking so youthful and she kept batting those lashes at her grandsons!
  
  I felt beautiful and when we got the pictures back, it was true! I would highly recommend Shana. The only issue we had was one of my maid of honor's lashes came off early so she had to take the other one off before the ceremony. I was getting pre-ceremony pictures done when it happened or I could have saved the day with some extra glue that was in my emergency bag.
  
  I would use Shana again for any special occasion. She is very talented.

  Shana is amazing! She has done my make-up as a bridesmaid in two separate weddings and I have used her for skin treatments in her skin studio. She does quality work, and and is someone you can count on. Her personality is the perfect match for any bride on her big day. Shana is calm and comforting and aims to please.   Shana did a great job on wedding makeup for me, my bridesmaids, and the moms. She made every one of us feel extra beautiful. She does her work very well and surprisingly fast/efficiently (30 mins/person). Other vendors I worked with gave her glowing reviews, which shows that she's a real pro. Her prices are on the higher end, but if you have room in the budget you can be confident she will do a great job.

  Shana is very professional, dependable, flexible and creative! She made my sister (the bride) and the bridesmaids who signed up for her services very beautiful! I have to say it was my first time wearing false lashes and I was shocked at what a difference it makes! She even accomodated doing a 'mini make up' job for my 10 year old (junior bridesmaid/flower girl), so she wouldn't feel left out (and loves make up already). My only concern was that it wasn't inexpensive, but then again, I have only been to free make up sessions all my life, so what do I know in this arena? ;-) Thank you Shana for the great service overall!

  Shana did an amazing job. She made all of us looking absolutely stunning. She is a little more pricey than some of the others that I looked into but I think in the end it was worth it. Interestingly enough, I wasn't totally satisfied with the way the trial went and was a bit nervous but Shana came through on the day where it actually mattered!
