DJ Steve is awesome! We're so happy and lucky that he was part of our wedding. He helped set the tone for the entire evening for us and our guests---and that was for everyone to have a good time! Steve played practically everything on our playlist. Our reception was such a fun and celebratory atmosphere because of Steve. He also provided our photo booth as well, which was a great and fun experience for our friends and family. It was such a relief to have one person who was our go-to for all the entertainment portions of our wedding. You will not regret hiring sg productions
Hiring a DJ for our wedding was something that was difficult for us without seeing them perform. From the day we met Steve at a wedding expo, I knew he was the perfect fit. He sat down with us for quite some time to discuss their process, their capabilities, and their vision. The online portal made it easy for us to find and add songs we wanted played throughout our day. Steve even went as far as remastering a version of a song for my step father and myself to dance to! If I could, I would re-hire SG Productions over AND OVER again!! They truly made our day memorable, held us accountable to our timelines, and kept all of our guests on the dance floor. Best Bilingual DJ
Steve was recommended by our family friend who was a maitre d at another popular North Jersey venue for years. Finding a bilingual DJ who could blend Hispanic and American cultures through music and dancing was a top priority for us. Steve DELIVERED. From our initial Zoom meeting with him, he took thorough notes and reassured us that he would make our wedding fun and have a backup plan should anything go wrong!
The day of our wedding, he and his DJ Steven did our ceremony music and reception music. They worked in all of our song requests and blended the perfect songs to keep the dance floor packed the whole time. My Hispanic family was happy and my husband’s American family was too! We loved how he brought energy to the room and how they did dance sets of Hispanic, emo, and classic rock music. So many guests complimented our DJ so we could not have chosen a better DJ than Steve and Steven!

Greatest party of our lives!
Steve Guillen was a major piece into making our wedding both magical and fun! We hired quite the package from him - DJ, photobooth, videographer, string trio, AND the party robot. On top of that, he offered to MC our wedding! They were such a cohesive and professional team to work with not only before during the planning process, but the day of the wedding too. Steve listens to what you want and makes sure to make it happen and beyond. We received SO many compliments about the music both during and after the wedding. Big piece of advice - the party robot was DOPE. I 110% recommend getting one, definitely brings the party up a notch. We also had the idea to throw a full blown rave at the end and Steve provided glowsticks, foam light up swords, and incldued a CO2 canon and sparklers with the robot. Our wedding was unforgettable for all involved, and that was a dream come true becaue of Steve and his team. 11/10 would recommend to all!

A night to remember!!!
We had such a great experience with Steve and his crew! They kept us and our family/friends engaged, had everyone dancing and having a good time. We have heard so many compliments from our guests about the DJ and MC. The lighting was beautiful, the custom Monogram was perfect and the Dancing On Clouds was absolutely AMAZING!! All Night Long!
Steve and his team were incredible with being timely and the music being on point! He also provided the photobooth service at the wedding which had our guests enjoying and laughing throughout the night. My guests danced all night and were saddened once they saw the night was ending. I loved how he was able to bring everyone together on the dance floor! He coordinated with my husband and I two weeks before the big day to have all the music and announcements be on point. His company was also organized with the website he provided to have all the music we wanted throughout the wedding. We had a mix of everything as we both have Latin American and American family members. I appreciated he was a big help with being able to merge two songs for the father daughter dance and the song came out perfect. My wife and I met Steve at a wedding expo in October 2018. As soon as we started speaking with Steve, we got an awesome vibe from him. With my wife being Colombian, we wanted to find a Latino DJ that would be able to appropriately blend the music between English and Spanish during our wedding. Steve being Latino knew exactly the type of experience that we were looking for. We spoke with Steve at the expo for a while and we exchanged information. The following week we received an email that we won the drawing for a free photo booth from Steve’s company, Steve Guillen Productions, if we were to book his services for our wedding. We set up an initial meeting with Steve at his office and ended up having such a great time at the meeting. Steve was personable, professional, and energetic. We went over all the services he offers – DJ, photography, videography, and numerous addons for events. In this meeting we also learned how important the role of a wedding DJ really is. We never realized before this meeting how much the DJ controls the flow of the wedding. From entrances to dances to speeches to even giving away center pieces. Steve was so detailed with work sheets on the flow of the events he works. After a week or two we ultimately felt we had to book Steve because of the vibe and connection we felt we made with him and his level of professionalism that we witnessed. We also ended up booking our videographer with Steve. Steve makes the process so easy for his clients to give them the best experience possible. He gave us work sheets and a log in to his client page on his website to input all the information he needed to know for our wedding. Music – must plays, don’t plays, first dance song, mother/father dance songs, etc. Wedding party information – all of the names of our wedding party, our parent’s names, my grandmothers name, how we would like them entering the wedding. All of our vendors information who he also gave copies of the itinerary to, hotel shuttle information for announcements, whether guests can take the center pieces – which was a yes and we thought would just be an announcement but Steve turned it into a game for the guests which we were not expecting but was so much fun for our guests playing. Anything that could be thought of Steve wanted to know no matter how little the detail was so that our wedding would go off without a hitch. We can’t thank Steve and his team enough for his services at our wedding. We all had so much fun. Thank you!

We had Steve as our DJ for our wedding last month and couldn't have asked for a more professional, fun, and entertaining DJ to keep the party going on our special day! When I say high-energy non-stop partying from start to finish it's not an exaggeration! The One DJ I Actually Liked!
Steve and his crew were amazing. Hiring the DJ was the one thing I was avoiding, as I normally can't stand DJ personalities, but Steve was fantastic! Right from our first meeting I knew he'd be perfect - he knew all of the pop songs my family would like, and all of the freestyle and Spanish music that would get my spouse's family on the dance floor. A testament to how great he was: we booked a room for an afterparty, but everyone was exhausted from dancing all night and everyone went to bed by 1am! Some of my absolute favorite photos from our wedding are candids of people dancing - and people were barely even drinking! Steve was amazing! He played a lot of song to get people up and moving, as well as staying faithful to the genres we requested. He was high energy through the night and interacted during group dances. He has a very magnetic personality.

Steve was the perfect DJ for our low-key wedding
We had a low-key wedding, and Steve was a great DJ for it, staying in the background and subtly managing the special moments of the day. A great DJ and master of ceremonies!
Steve and his DJ (also named Steve!) was the master of ceremonies for our daughter's wedding last weekend, and he was terrific! Not only did he keep the crowd on the dance floor and entertained throughout, he was also able to both make announcements and play music in both English and Spanish, which was important for our family and guests. I highly recommend Steve - he made this special day so much fun!

A few weeks have passed since my wedding, and I'm STILL blown away at how great of a party SG Productions puts on!
STEVE was such a pleasure to work with. I needed an MC that could speak English and Spanish, he was perfect! He is professional, personable and super helpful. We hired him and his crew for MC, DJ, snow machine, dry ice and photo-booth! Never knew a wedding DJ/MC plays such a critical part but after having a stress free evening, we are so glad we chose him.

Steve and his team did an AWESOME job! They created a great atmosphere for dinner but also a great party for after! They got the crowd excited and my mother (mother of the bride) said she looked around a couple times and saw literally everyone was on the dance floor! They get everyone out on the dance floor!
So many people came up to my husband and I after our wedding to compliment us on the DJ. Our friends booked him a few days later for their wedding, and to be honest we are so excited to party with him as DJ again! He's done the weddings of three other friends and he does a great job every time. We had a lot of guests ranging from conservative adults to partying young people and Steve found music that everyone loved. Not to mention that he was very affordable, accommodating and really easy & fun to work with. I highly recommend him and can't say enough good things.

Do you want someone who is just as excited for your wedding as you are?! Well look no further because that's who Steve is!!! I knew right from the start that Steve was our guy! His positive, high energy vibe is what got me from our first meeting! I felt like just by talking to us for a few minutes, he knew what we wanted, or at least what was on my mind/my image.
The photobooth is what I always wanted and he delievered. It was a big hit! Such a long line, but that means everyone loved it!!! I loved the give away game for our center pieces! It was really fun to watch everyone get up and essentially act a fool!
I really could go on and on - but seriously Steve was amazing and I wouldn't have it any other way! Since the time my husband and I met him, I knew he would be a part of our special day!!

We got married on July 2, 2017, and it was the best day of our lives! Steve really helped make us feel comfortable, and helped ensure that everything went smoothly during the reception! We never once worried about timing of anything with him there. Leading up to our big day, he sat down with us for a couple hours to figure out all the details and we never felt rushed or like we were taking up his time. For our first dance, we performed part of it live and then transitioned into the song. He figured out exactly how to edit the song and fade in so we could do everything smoothly, we were super impressed! He also had mics set up for us to sing and for my guitar. Throughout the reception, he did an amazing job of getting the guests to dance and have a good time. Overall, we cannot say enough great things about Steve. He really is the best and you'll have no regrets if you decide to go with him!

Steve was so helpful from the very start of the planning process. I did not want the typical wedding were the dj was just an entertainment I would hire. Steve made suggestions to us on how to make our wedding different and get my guests involved in games that was unlike from every wedding we have been to. We simply cannot say enough about Steve Guillen (SG Productions, Inc.) and the absolutely fabulous event he helped us orchestrate. My husband Steve and I were married on October 8, 2016 and held our wedding at the Knoll Country Club – East in Parsippany NJ.
From the day of our first interview with Steve Guillen, we knew we had the right DJ for our wedding. Steve made us feel confident and comfortable from the first meeting. He took the time to explain the process and provided us the tools and means to have our own input as well. Most importantly, he listened to our concerns and wishes for our guests. He made sure we were comfortable with everything concerning the day.
The event went so smoothly from start to finish. Everyone had such a great time. The music and the timing were just terrific. Steve and his DJ Malik had everyone dancing all night long. My husband Steve and I also had a great time - we were exhausted from dancing ourselves. Our guests are still raving about the music and entertainment.
Steve Guillen is a consummate professional, a wonderful entertainer – and a really nice guy. We are so happy we made the choice to hire Steve for our wedding day.

SG Productions provided DJ, MC and photo booth services for our same sex wedding on June 4, 2016 at the Oakeside Mansion in Bloomfield, NJ. As all couples know when planning a wedding, the 2 most important things are the food and the music. Well Steve and his team made sure that we nailed the music part of the wedding. The planning process with Steve was easy; we had 2 live meetings and numerous emails to make sure that all of the details were perfect. We utilized SG Production’s online portal to create the ultimate playlist, mark down “do not plays” and capture all of the important details of the day. On the day of, Steve arrived in plenty of time to set up for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. All of the music and timing for the ceremony was perfect, he played all of the songs we requested at the cocktail hour and made sure to communicate with the other vendors and wedding team members on the timing of the reception. Then at the reception, Steve MC’d and his genuine positive personality made the dance floor the place to be for the rest of the night. Our DJ for the night was Robert and he was great at reading the crowd, they played most of the songs we put on our list, none of our do not plays and the dance floor was packed the entire night.
SG Productions also provided us with Zap Photos and a photo booth. Steve took photos the entire day and then put them up on the screens by the dance floor. It was so fun to see all of the photos of the day AND Steve posted all of the photos on facebook a few weeks after the wedding. So on top of all of our professional photos we also have all of these great party shots from Steve that are so fun! The photo booth was also so fun, we went back and forth about getting it but are so glad we did. The guests loved to have their picture taken and a little keepsake to take with them.
Everything with SG Productions was professional and as promised. We would recommend Steve and his team to anyone getting married.

My husband and I had heard about Steve Guillen Productions from a friend of ours whose family had used him for multiple weddings. Steve was very professional and easy to work with during all our meetings with him and on our wedding day. We appreciated how organized he was during our meetings and also with making it super easy for us to create wedding playlist online. After both my sister and cousin used Steve for their respective weddings, I knew he needed to be top of our list of potential DJ's. And once we met with him we knew we were making the right choice! We cannot begin to thank DJ Steve enough for creating such a fun atmosphere for our January 2015 wedding! The dance floor was PACKED and he kept the energy going the whole night! DJ Steve and Rob created a great balance of fast music, salsa, slow music and even a game that the guests loved too! The thing that I appreciated the most was he handed off the microphone to my 5 year old niece, who then sang "Let it Go". DJ Robbie from Steve Guillen Productions did a phenomenal job at our wedding. We were beyond satisfied with the music played at our wedding. We had a nice mix of young and older people (parents age) at the wedding and everyone had nothing but great things to say about the music. It wasn't loud and noisy, and DJ Robbie knew when to speed it up or slow it down on the dance floor during the appropriate activities that were going on during the wedding. I usually never write reviews, but Steve deserves one.. He was the best DJ ever and absolutely exceeded our expectations. We knew we liked him from the first time we met him, and he went above and beyond from our initial consult to the day of our wedding. Steve Guillen Productions is the best of the best. When you hire Steve Guillen services you are not only hiring a "DJ", these guys are great! Steve He came to my husband's surprise 40th birthday party and I felt like another guest. He took care of everything, from coordinating with the waitress when to start serving to the moment he got all my guests on their feet and entertained everyone with great music selections.
This was a surprise party for my husband where I was to bring him as a surprise. Steve communicated with me from start to finish. He did an AWESOME job that everyone told me after the party how good he was and asked me where I found him. The fee was very reasonable - you are not paying for a simple DJ, when you hire these guys, you are hiring entertainer and party planner altogether for a DJ fee. Where else can you find that? We recommend Guillen Productions and can't wait 'till the next party to hire them again ;)

Steve Guillen and his associate were the emcee and DJ at our wedding. We wanted our reception to be a big party with lots of music and dancing and that's exactly what it was. Everybody had a GREAT time! Steve led the evening from start to finish seamlessly. We booked Steve because we went to a wedding where he was the DJ, and had the best time! Music is very important to us and we wanted to celebrate music as best we could.... So many people complain because the DJ didnt play music that everyone likes, and every wedding someone usually has something negative to say about the music.
No one had anything negative to say about ours. In fact, many people keep telling us how amazing our DJ was and how he played the perfect music that every single person could enjoy. He worked very well with all the rest of our vendors and gave us an amazing wedding!
I wanted people to dance the entire time, that was my goal. Steve achieved that goal and everyone had an amazing time.
We also had a piano player during cocktail hour, which everyone is still raving about. He sounded fabulous and played amazing! For cocktail hour I wanted it to feel like the "piano man" and again, Steve delivered.

Steve was so helpful since we were planning our wedding from 400+ miles away! He video chatted and kept in constant contact via email and phone. His wedding planning form online was easy to use and very organized. EVERYONE had an excellent time and loved the DJ! Well worth the money (and very affordable!)

I can not say enough good things about Steve!! We had very specific music in mind for a lot of things and he played it all!! He is very personable and knows how to keep the party going. Many of our guests said it was the most fun they ever had at a wedding and a big part of that was because of Steve!! Thank you so much for making everything perfect!

We used Steve Guillen Productions for our wedding in August, 2012. Steve did a fantastic job as the MC at our wedding. He was energetic, engaging, fun, and had our guests dancing the entire time. Everyone had a blast and danced the night away. Steve played a variety of music that catered to all age groups (we received several compliments on this). My 88 year old grandfather was dancing almost all night. Steve is the type of MC that genuinely enjoys what he does and it truly shows. Steve was also a pleasure to work with throughout the planning process as he was accessible and easy to talk to. We definitely recommend Steve for anyone looking for a great DJ/MC.

Hi Steve, Just wanted to let you know "Ricky" one of your DJ's did a fantastic job at our wedding celebration on saturday, June 9th at the Grand Chalet! As you know we had american & latin guests and all of the music we chose was played, Ricky had even "picked up" on our choices & played other songs similar to the ones we had chosen. He played other 80's & 90's songs that fit right in including current hits. He played american music & latin with a perfect combination. Cocktail hour music was played at a level everyone could talk but still hear the music. Even after dinner when people were dancing to the music guests could still talk while seated, so the music wasn't "blaring loudly". Everyone had a great time and complimented the music played. If anyone is hesitating about hiring Steve Guillen Productions for your event do not worry about it, Steve will sit down with you & explain EVERYTHING in detail, he will return your phone call if you have any questions, he is a professional & that is why our wedding celebration was GREAT! I planned my daughter's marriage celebration via long distance, so I required the services of very professional vendors who would respond promptly to my emails so that I could get done the things I needed to get done for our affair despite the challenges. The first time I spoke to Steve over the phone, I knew that he 'got it'. He got those music lists to me right up front so we could get them done promptly, he took care of our special requests perfectly, such as the special sound effects for the groom's garter removal skit, and he even took care of our beautiful uplighting in her custom colors. He MC'd fearlessly and the musical choices were seamless throughout the evening. Kids, seniors and every age in between commented on the music mix that was conducive to every age and ethnic group present getting plenty of opportunities to dance. We've had catered affairs before, but Steve's operation is the most professional we've ever used. We will not hestitate to use him again, and highly recommend him for any occasion.

I first discovered Steve at another event I attended as a guest. When I got engaged I knew I had to hire him for the wedding. Steve has such energy it gets the whole crowd moving. He was also really great to work with. He helped guide us through the planning of the ceremony and the reception as far as the music was concerned. He made sure to ask us for a play list as well as a 'do not play' list. Since we didn't go with the whole 'show' (i.e. tons of announcements, garter removal, bouquet toss, etc.), Steve made sure we worked in the first dance, any special dances w/other family members (I danced with my daughter who was my maid of honor). He even got my husband (who notoriously does not dance) up on the floor a few times. Steve is a really great DJ and I would definitely recommend him.

As a videographer I've worked with Steve Guillen at several weddings. I even recommended him to my cousin for her wedding. When it came time for our own my fiance Abbie and I met with him, and right away knew he was the guy. He's truly friendly, professional, and creative. He completely let us customize our reception music choices, and threw in many good suggestions of his own, even on how to deal with the minor dramas that occur around the wedding day, haha.
We had the most incredible party. Everyone was out there, and we had people from all over, the South, NY, and of course Jersey. The floor was pretty much packed all night, and everyone had a great time. The mix of music was fantastic. We sang along to so many songs, even when were just eating dinner or taking pictures with family. Loved REO Speedwagon, haha, and so many other great choices. Loved the 80's stuff. The sound level was perfect, not too loud, my ears weren't hurting, and everything from the ceremony music steve played, and the reception intro (we came into the Perfect Strangers theme song, which he happened to have in stock, awesome), and the entire reception was smooth and flawless. He did again a fantastic job mixing, and exceeded my expectations. I knew he would do a great job, but it seems he's getting better and better at his craft every day.
He did an amazing job, and we were so comfortable with him throughout the entire process. Besides our catering hall, this was one vendor we had to meet with a couple of times, and he was always great, always available via the phone or e-mail, and always friendly. Thanks again for making our day so amazing. We partied like crazy that night, and you were at the center doing an amazing job. Thanks again, sooooo much.

Our family can't stop talking about how wonderful the DJ was and how he played a great mix of music which kept everyone on the dance floor! My wedding was a mix of cultures, states and backgrounds so everyone had very different tastes and expectations when it came to music. I am very pleased with my decision to hire Steve. We had spoken to several DJs before choosing SG Productions. SG Productions was by far the most professional.
They were a splurge for me and I had to cut back on some of my budget but it was worth it. Steve fosters a wonderful family atmosphere and he made it very easy for perfect strangers to realize that they had just become family.

We had spoken to a few DJ's before we found Steve... and once we talked to him we knew he had to be the DJ for our wedding. We live out of state from where the wedding was, so a lot of our business had to be done over the phone and through e-mails and Steve was so quick to respond and so willing to talk over everything with us. One appointment we were supposed to meet Steve and couldnt make it, so we asked if it was okay that we send out mothers, and when they called us after the appointment, they knew just as much as we did that Steve is definatly a one of kind! The DJ's that work with Steve are equally amazing and the whole night was amazing. With Steve Guillen Productions our whole wedding was amazing!! Thanks Steve!!

Everything was great! The music was especially important to me because there were people of all ages. But Steve did exactly what we wanted him to and thats to make sure the guests were up and dancing and having fun. The guests loved him and we did too!

Steve was our first choice for our wedding entertainment ever since we experienced his talent first-hand at another wedding. It was important for us that our DJ be bilingual, as we had family coming in from South America, among other reasons. Steve was very professional in our meetings, completely organized in terms of exactly what he and my husband and I needed to plan for, but was more than willing to offer his expertise in terms of helping us plan the evening.
Not only that - our dance floor was filled the whole evening. He provided the energy that matched and enhanced our already rockin' families' enthusiasm at the reception. Highly recommend.

This was the best DJ in the world. After our wedding all people commented about was how great the DJ was! Steve was amazing and they made our wedding everything we said we wanted it to be. The meetings before the wedding, Steve put us at ease and made us feel like he had it all under control- which he did. This was one of the most important aspects to our wedding and he ROCKED it! He even went with the flow when my 2 year old niece didn't walk in at the point we said she would- he didn't get her confused with my 5 year old niece-- and introduced her correctly... not one little detail was missed. What a great party thanks to Steve! I want to have another one so I could hire him again!!! (and the price is so worth it too!)

Bilingual DJ playing to 2 different cultures with all the music feels!
Steve was an incredible and heartfelt DJ. From our initial video meeting with him he left me confident that this man had the music experience not only with the classic american wedding jams but with also latino dance party experience. His central music system to select songs for bridal party intros, dinner music, to the do not plays or must plays was user friendly. Our guests were incredibly impressed that he was able to get every single body on the dance floor to start the party!

Steve just did our wedding for us and did an amazing job! People came up to us all night long and days after complementing us on our music! A family member even told us "You have the best wedding soundtrack ever!" We didn't want traditional wedding songs played and Steve was very flexible with us making sure we had the music we wanted mixed in with enough well-known songs to get people dancing. He even gave us a CD mix of music from our wedding at the end (which we love listening to!). He checked in with us all night long too and made sure the music was what we wanted and when we wanted. We got married out of state and Steve was flexible with meeting with us through Skype so we didn't have to drive up there. He was phenomenal!!

We had string musicians for our ceremony and cocktail hour, and Steve was the DJ for our reception. It was very convenient having to deal with only 1 vendor for all of our music. The string musicians were very professional. Steve did an amazing job during the reception. He brought an amazing amount of energy to the party and had everyone up and dancing. Our guests commented on how great he was. I would highly recommend him for any wedding or party.

Steve was absolutely wonderful. The dance floor was packed the entire time and he did a really great job of choosing the right songs off of our list at the right times. I do wish the dj did a better job of mixing in guest requests with the music we had on our must play list, as once guests began making requests all we heard were those requests, many of which were not our style -- but we also didn't give him a lot of instruction on that so I can't say it was totally the fault of the DJ. Steve was our mc for the evening and he was the perfect blend of enthusiasm and sincerity. My husband and I wanted someone high energy, but not with a cheesy DJ voice or over the top ways and Steve was the perfect fit for our needs and personalities. Other than that small thing with the dj, I would say the only slightly negative part of our experience w this company was the fact that we weren't told in advance of payment in full that he simply will NOT play any songs with swears in them. I feel like that would have been nice to know up front just in case it was a bigger deal to us - however he went out of his way to find the edited version of any questionable songs which really made us feel like he cared and did his best to make sure our day was perfect. I don't know about anyone else but to us, his willingness to go above and beyond and his commitment to ensuring our vision for our day remained intact, made him our favorite vendor for sure. I would highly recommend this company and Steve especially to anyone hosting any event in the future!!

Steve Guillen was our MC. From our first meeting Steve was very excited and assuring that our wedding day would be perfect from his end. Unfortunately, that was not the case. I was very specific on how our entrance into the reception should be and Steve understood. When the time came, the song Michael & I were introduced to as husband & wife sounded jumbled and my bridal party was standing off to the side instead of dancing as couples like I wanted. When Michael & I filled out our request sheet, we said to NOT invite our guests onto the dance floor during our first dance; Steve did the opposite. I wanted two songs dedicated to my grandfather; neither was played and I never got to dance with him. We requested NO line dances; "The Electric Slide" was played. I told Steve before the reception started that one of the songs on our MUST PLAY list I wanted to sing along to as a special surprise to everyone, especially my husband. The song was never even played. The NY Jets chant was requested as a surprise for my husband and was told by the DJ that he had it; it was never played. Finally, we had a photo booth as our guest book and favors and asked Steve to announce it so all of our guests knew; he never did. These were HUGE mistakes that meant a lot to my husband & I. Some may think the wedding photos and video are the most important vendors because they last after the wedding has ended and I would agree. However, whenever we watch our wedding video, we will always remember what did and did not happen from Steve. Michael spoke to Steve about everything and Steve blamed the venue staff for the entrance, made a judgment call letting our guests join our first dance, admitted to forgetting about my grandfather, played "The Electric Slide" because it was requested (Steve told us he would NOT play anything we didn't want to hear), and he said that he didn't play the song I wanted to sing to my husband because he thought it would slow things down. We are immensely disappointed.
