Comfort and care with style in mind

The whole team at Sew ‘n Sew made wedding dress shopping easy. Not only did they focus in on what I thought I wanted, they provided options based on how I was responding to the dresses I tried on. I fell in love with a classic ball gown (with pockets) and added a floral skirt over it to stand out. The alteration appointments were just as fun as trying it on again and again. Then they provided directions to prepare and care for the dress on the big day. They really removed any stress or concerns and made the whole experience a lot of fun!

Personal Touch for a Lost Bride

SewNSew personalized my experience from the appointment phone call all the way through the purchase of my dress. The owner called me personally to discuss my style and had me pick dress styles online that I wanted to try. She even me Facetimed beforehand to get to know me better. Then she pulled the dresses I liked and even found a few she thought I would like based on our discussion. She ALWAYS stayed within my budget and was clear with me when I found something out of range. Ultimately I ended up choosing a dress that I had seen in her online shop and I was surprised it was not only the perfect fit, but in my budget (a designer dress by Rebecca Ingram for half price!) and MORE than I had ever dreamed of!! I had to call my mom immediately to drive to the store to see it. They allowed me to step out and come back when my mom arrived to show her the perfect dress!!!

Such an amazing experience!

I had a lot of visions about my wedding day and had a specific look in mind for my dress. I wanted something more casual, yet lacey and beautiful. Sew 'N Sew was the first spot I picked to look at dresses and I'm so glad that I did! They took my vision and found me the perfect dress! I tried on a few dresses and it came down to two - I had loved the top of one dress but the bottom of another - Danielle stopped and said I have your dress! She went and pulled it off the rack, I put it on and instantly knew this was my dress! Naturally my mother and I started crying! It was perfect! I felt so beautiful in this dress and it was everything I had imagined it to be! I received SO many compliments on my dress - even to this day two months later! Danielle was a dream to work with! Super accommodating and most of all listened to what I wanted. Millie was also amazing! Her alterations were perfect and my dress fit like a glove! I would highly recommend Sew 'N Sew!

Will never buy a dress anywhere else...EVER!

I stumbled upon Sew 'N Sew through the suggestions of basically every person who I knew. They came highly suggested and I now see why. From day one, they make you feel so welcomed and relaxed. I spent hours in their store on two separate occasions to find my perfect dress and when I did, they where there walking me through all of the steps and answering all of my questions. I never felt rushed or like I was bothering them or wasting their time. Even through COVID and rescheduling my wedding four times, they were there with me every step of the way. I will never go anywhere else for another dress and I will always recommend them for anyone looking for one. I cannot say enough good things about Sew 'N Sew Bridal and Tuxedo!

Beautiful dresses and personalized service

I cannot say enough positive things about Sew 'N Sew. The entire experience was above and beyond, from initial bridal appointment to the day I picked up my dress. I tried other shops prior and was left feeling very underwhelmed, and nervous I wouldn't have 'the feeling' of knowing a dress was 'the one'. When I arrived at Sew 'N Sew, Debbi and her staff were beyond accommodating and spent the time to ask me what I was looking for, styles I liked, budget, etc. They suggested I pick a couple, let them pick a couple, and have my mom pick a couple. The bridal gown collection was the perfectly curated selection, offering an array of styles and fits, without feeling beyond overwhelming. The first dress I tried on ended up being the one!
All the associated costs were provided up front, so there weren’t any surprises. Our initial wedding date was postponed due to Covid, and Debbi was always in communication with me. She assured me the dress was in safekeeping and made me feel at ease, given the status of everything else unraveling. She also was so thoughtful as to gift me a beautiful potted tea rose plant and a handmade bridal mask on the day of our original wedding date! It was such a special surprise.
With all the unexpected letdowns of being a “Covid Bride”, Debbi and her team were one of the constant positive reinforcements. The personalized touches along the way helped make my experience so memorable. If you want an owner and team who aim to provide nothing but the best possible customer service, then Sew ‘N Sew is your place.

Great Selection and Staff

I found my perfect dress at Sew 'N Sew after searching many stores in northern New Jersey and NYC. They have a great selection and really make you feel comfortable. I never felt rushed or pressured. I would highly recommend to all future brides!

Get all of your wedding attire from here

I found the dress of my dreams at Sew N Sew Bridal and Tuxedo on my very first wedding dress shopping trip. The owner, Debra, personally helped me in and out of countless gowns and gave me helpful feedback as my family looked on. I loved the drop sleeve look, which was not a feature of the dress I had fallen in love with. Not a problem...the drop sleeves were made from scratch by the incredibly talented seamstress Natalie, who also had the task of creating an intense bustle for my very full dress. She walked my sister/maid of honor through how to bustle it step by step to ensure it would happen flawlessly on our big day.
Then came time for tuxes. After a not so pleasant experience at a national brand men's dress clothes retailer, we tried Sew n Sew. Danielle was professional and responsive, constantly communicating with the groom and groomsmen about what measurements were needed and when the tuxes were in. My groom's jacket was a little too small when it came in the Monday before our wedding...they had the next size up ordered and in store the next day. I couldn't have selected a better store to go to for our wedding attire needs!

I’m glad I chose Sew and Sew over competitor

I had such a pleasant and stress-free experience with Sew and Sew Bridal. All the girls are amazing- Debbi, Danielle, Grace, Natalie...they made me feel very welcome and comfortable with my decision. The girls are honest and helpful. I looked forward to each fitting so I could see my dress as well as the girls who would take pics of me if I happened to be solo for that appointment. I could have gone somewhere closer to me where they sold the same dress but I really liked the hometown feel of this store. I would highly recommend.

Great, full wedding experience!

When I knew I had to start looking for wedding gowns, a friend of mine recommended Sew 'N Sew. I wanted to find a nice local place to look for my gown and I was so happy with her recommendation. From the minute I walked in, the entire staff was welcoming and accommodating. I was on the fence about the type of dress I wanted and they were happy to work with me to find something I loved. I enjoyed my dress shopping experience so much that I ended up using Sew 'N Sew for everything else for our wedding. My mother got her dress here. My bridesmaids and flower girl got their dresses here. My husband, father, grandfather, officiant, and all the groomsmen rented their tuxes from here. Overall, we had an excellent experience. They're very knowledgeable and willing to help you. Everything from the initial dress selection to all the follow-up fittings made me feel very comfortable and welcome.

I *LOVED* my dress!

Everyone at Sew N Sew that I worked with were absolutely lovely and so helpful. This was the first dress store I went to and, though I absolutely loved one of the dresses I felt I needed to try elsewhere. I tried a couple other places but didn't find them to be as personable as Sew N Sew. I wound making another appointment and purchased the dress from the first visit! They were great at keeping me informed about where my dress was once it was ordered and I had no problem scheduling my fittings. My dress was amazing and fit great! I received so many compliments on my dress at my wedding. If you're looking for a personal wedding dress shopping experience, this is the place to go!

I decided to look into Sew'N Sew upon a friend recommendation. It was the first and last place I went to shop! I liked that all their dresses were out to browse, not tucked away for a consultant to pull for me. My mom, aunt, two bridesmaids and I picked out 10 dresses for me to try on. I went through them all and had my top two I tried on again. I was struggling to decide because I couldn't imagine what a pure white color would look like as the dress I was trying was an oyster color. My consultant pulled the white I was looking for in a different dress but the same designer so I could get an idea. I ended up wanting to try the dress on for color but quickly new it was THE DRESS! I would have never picked it because it was strapless but they quickly assured me the seamstress could add straps.
In three appointments the seamstress hand crafted the straps of my Pinterest dreams for my dress. The day off my wedding I was so comfortable in my dress and just can't stop looking at photos now. Sew'N Sew gave me the best wedding dress experience!!

I was clueless what i wanted for my wedding dress AND clueless on how to go about finding a reputable bridal salon in a place where i have only lived for about 3 years. Needless to say, i stumbled upon Sew and Sew and Danielle "my saving grace" was amazing. I think i tried on about 35 gowns my FIRST visit! She was nothing but patient (oh so patient since my little niece had to try on every dress and tiara in the world!! lol), understanding, she gave suggestions, she didn't rush me out of the store. It was by far the easiest experience, compared to the other "bridal shops" that only looked for you to spend the most amount of money on a dress. When it came to the purchase, again, easy, the fittings, were actually fun, the seamstress was so so so nice and i never had a worry in the world about anything when it came to purchasing my dress from Sew and Sew. If you're looking for a wedding dress, prom dress, MOB/MOG dress, any dress, I DEFINITELY recommend the girls over at Sew and Sew!!

I am so glad I went to Sew 'N Sew for my Wedding Dress. My mom had heard they were having a trunk sale and we figured, why not? So it was our first place we went to look for a dress and after trying on a few dresses, I was stuck between two dresses. They were having the trunk sale until the next day and I made an appointment to come back the next day with my future MIL, future SIL and my maid of honor and bridesmaid to try on the two dresses. As soon as I put on the dress, everyone knew it was the one.

Debbi and the entire team at Sew 'N Sew are always so nice and helpful. I am glad I found my dream dress there as they did an amazing job making sure it looked perfect for my wedding day. I also found my veil, tiara, and all my accessories there, I looked like a true princess on my wedding day. My mom also found her dress for my wedding day and they did a great job fitting her dress when it came in, she looked so beautiful!

I highly recommend Sew 'N Sew Bridal and Tuxedo for your Wedding Dress needs! (and if the mother of the bride or groom needs a dress as well!)

"Unique... very midsummer night's dream." From the moment I tried on my wedding dress, I knew it was different and so did Danielle, the experienced bridal guru at Sew 'N Sew Bridal and Tuxedo. The quote above is her's and my Lillian West dress was just that. It was a dream to walk in and it fit me perfectly thanks to Nathaly's dexterity with a needle and thread. I felt like I was floating down the aisle and was especially grateful for the bustle as I moved easily on the dance floor later that night. My friends and family also loved the double bustle made possible by the floating train attached to my ivory gold style 6455 dress. I also appreciated Nathaly's willingness to remove the shoulder straps and set the soft sleeves with stitches to ensure they stayed neatly off the shoulder. My photographers loved this element of my dress as well and the pictures prove it. I definitely recommend Sew 'N Sew to any woman shopping for a wedding dress at a shop that offers knowledgeable, attentive, and thoughtful staff. It meant so much that Danielle noted what I wanted for my day and helped me find just that. Thanks Sew 'N Sew for helping to make me and my wedding day beautiful.

If I could have given them 10 stars, I would. I walked into Sew n Sew needing a wedding dress for my wedding that was 4 weeks away. Not only was I able to find the most gorgeous gown, but it was available immediately from their sample sale. Sew n Sew made the dress buying experience completely stress free and really fun - they have excellent customer service from booking the appointment, to the fittings, until I walked out the door with the dress before the wedding. I have never felt more beautiful in my life than I did in my wedding dress from Sew n Sew and cannot recommend them enough to brides!

I cannot say enough great things about Debbie and her employees at Sew’n’sew. I had gone to several bridal stores and was not happy with anything I had tried on. The other stores picked the dresses out based on what I said I liked. However, at Sew’n’sew, I was able to walk around and select the dresses off the rack that I thought I would like to try on. I had found Sew’n’sew on Facebook and decided to go up there to check out a trunk show for Stella York dresses. I was able to find a few options and ended up buying my dress that day. Natalye was a huge help as the seamstress especially with all the different questions I was asking her. The dress was perfect and looked amazing in all my photos. I got so many compliments on it and several asked where I got it from. I was extremely pleased with the whole experience.

The salon has a great selection of designer yet still affordable dresses for brides, bridesmaids, mother of the bride, flower girls, and prom. Our groomsmen also got fitted here and every adjustment was made to ensure the tuxes fit perfectly. The team at Sew n Sew are all friendly and professional, not to mention very knowledgeable! The seamstress Natalie really worked her magic to make my dress fit me like a glove! I would highly recommend!

I can't thank Debbi and her team enough for making my dress absolutely perfect! The seamstress created a stunning illusion back with buttons and a lace cap sleeve for my strapless dress. Buying my wedding gown at Sew N' Sew was the best decision I could have made! From start to finish, there was no stress at all. The staff are so friendly, knowledgeable, and relaxed, they made the whole experience a lot of fun--the way it should be! They have a ton of different styles to choose from, and I never felt rushed or pushed. I had plenty of 1-on-1 time with a bridal consultant who listened to me and worked hard to find the exact dress I was looking for.

The seamstress , Natalie, did an amazing job fitting my gown perfectly to my body. Everyone at the wedding told me the dress looked like it had been made just for me because it fit like a glove. The staff and owner at Sew 'N Sew will go out of their way to work with you and make you happy!! You can trust them to make you look and feel gorgeous on your wedding day!

Sew n Sew was a wonderful experience from the start. They were the 2nd store I went to and wish I had only gone to them and not wasted my time with any other store. With a dressing room full of dresses (because their selection is beyond beautiful) I said "yes to the dress" to the 2nd one I tried on! The service the Sew n Sew staff provided to me, my mother, and MOH that day was beyond my expectations! The dress came in earlier than expected and during my first fitting we found it actually fit and only needed minor adjusting. The entire experience was stress free and I never had to worry about it, which is a huge part of the wedding so it was a relief to check off my list.

Fast forward to the day of my wedding, I turned awkwardly in the limo and the hook of my dress popped off as we were pulling up to the ceremony. We could not get the zipper to lock so we could not continue until it was fixed. We did a fix to get me down the aisle and after the ceremony as we exited the church Debi from Sew n Sew was standing there to ensure it was fixed! With everything going on I did not see her at first and as I was exiting after family photos I saw her in the back pew just patiently waiting! She stitched in a new hook right there! It was permanently fixed within minutes and she said the prior fix was done well but now with the new hook there was no way it was coming down. I am forever grateful for Debi and her staff! Of course later at the reception and cocktail hour guests were asking me what happened, their response to what I had told them was, "I would use Sew n Sew just for that reason for any future event, that's amazing."

Sew and Sew is absolutely the place to go for everything Bridal! I went in with an idea of what i wanted. All the dresses looked overwhelming to me but debbie pulled some for my, i picked some out and we went from there. Little did i know, 45 minutes later i said yes to my dress. I tried on 5 dresses, the third one, i knew was mine. Every time i went into the shop, everyone was so nice. Debbie was great with walking me thru alteration steps. I loved them so much we decided to get the girls dresses there, they turned out fabulous. My now husband and myself stopped in on a whim to see if he could find a suit he would like. Sure enough, they had it there! They were even accomadating to a groomsman who lived in cali. When the suits came in they were quick to fix a pant size problem and order a bowtie for my husband (nothing like last second). I never had to worry about anything! I refer anyone i know getting married to them. I think they are great as well as Debbie and Danielle, they are amazing people to work with!

I went to sew and sew and it was the best decision I could have ever made. When I walked in the door at sew and sew I had no idea what kind of dress I wanted but Danielle helped me pick out my dress while dealing with the five different personalities of the women I bought with me all of whom had there own idea of what I should wear. In the end I found a dress that made me feel like a princess and Debbie worked with me on four different appointments to make the dress look the best for my big day. Every time I went for a fitting Debbie and I would talk about everything under the sun and she truly made me feel at home. She takes the time to get to know her brides and doesn't rush you out the door just to get to the next bride. Unlike what happened to me at Macy's where they make you feel like just a dollar sign for there store. She truly loves what she does and you can tell from the moment you meet her. Thank you so much Debbie and Danielle for making my big day perfect with the stunning dress you made perfect for me. I would recommend sew and sew to any bride and I already have to a few people I know.

I went to several stores in search of a wedding dress, and definitely had the most positive experience at Sew and Sew. They had a really great selection of dresses to try as well as a wide range of sizes in the store to try on. At other dress stores, I felt very pressured by the sales people, but I did not feel this way at all at Sew and Sew. Debbie was very helpful and listened carefully to what I was looking for, and had many great suggestions that fit what I was looking for. She was very patient and encouraged me to think about the dress before making a final purchase. I felt much more comfortable in this environment than under high pressure and ended up finding a dress I really loved. Thank you so much for your help!

I went to Sew 'N Sew originally as they carried the line of dresses (Stella York) that I was most interested in. Debbie made my shopping experience a pleasure and she actually ended up pulling the dress that I ended up buying after listening to my feedback on all the dresses I had picked myself to try on which impressed me. Very friendly, pleasurable and low pressure sales experience not like some of the other shops I visited!
Debbie called me the day my dress came in to let me know even though it was Christmas eve, and I was there the day after Christmas to try it on for the first time. My fitting experience there was also wonderful, Debbie and her team spent countless hours altering my dress to make sure it was absolutely perfect - they will honestly be a part of my wedding memories forever with how kindly they treated me and how much we got to know each other through the process.
My Mother and Mother in law also purchased their dresses from Sew 'N Sew and we also rented my husband and Father's tuxedos from them, all of which were also great experiences. Thank you again Debbie and I will be back the next time I need a dress for a formal event!

Thank you sew n sew for all your help with my girls dresses and the guys tuxedos. The girls shades all went together so perfectly and the guys tuxedos and their vests matched spot on. I had girls come from far away and we were able to get dresses and alterations done in time and it was easy for everyone. Everyone looked amazing! And I can't thank you enough.

Working with Debbie was always a pleasure. I have bought bridesmaid dresses from her before and she is a local business so I like to help them out when I can. My dress was beautiful and I actually bought it for under $100. My husband won the hot groom contest so all of his groomsmen had free tux rentals which was awesome. If you are looking for personal attention and a stress-free environment, you must go to Sew and Sew. I knew I did not want to go to any overcrowded, overpriced shops with snooty salespeople and annoying rules. Sew and Sew was exactly what I was looking for. It is a small shop with a big selection of unique gowns. Debbie was super friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating, I was in great hands!. From my initial meeting through all my fittings, my family/friends and I were never rushed, pictures were allowed and mimosas were flowing. Debbie and her team effortlessly handled the rush of my gown within 4 months. The experience was flawless from beginning to end. My dress was gorgeous, it fit perfectly and I never felt like I had to adjust it throughout the day. I would recommend Debbie and Sew and Sew in a heartbeat!

They really pay a lot of attention to you and make you feel special just the way it should be. My appointment was private and intimate. Wonderful experience trying on dresses and was the only place i even came close to finding a dress i wanted to buy. I did not purchase my dress at Sew n Sew as I found the one I fell in love with before making it to this shop. However, I used them for my dress alterations and found my jewelry there as well. Each fitting I attended was fun and the owner, staff, and seamstress were very accommodative and helpful. The dress fit perfect the day of my wedding and looked beautiful. I have used them before for alterations four years prior when I was a bridesmaid and had the same great experience with them. As I did not have an ideal place to store the dress prior to my wedding day, the owner (Debbie) volunteered to drop the dress off for me at the location I was getting dressed at before our wedding. The dress arrived in perfect condition and I was very grateful for the help. I would definitely recommend this business to anyone looking for dresses/tuxes or alterations.

I had two bridal salon appointments set up for the day with Sew & Sew Bridal being the second. The first salon was horrible (Jefre Bridal) and the saleswoman Louis smelled like an ashtray and she wasn't friendly at all. So, when I walked into Sew & Sew I wasn't feeling too good about my wedding dress experience. Well that feeling was quickly replaced with THE BEST experience I could ever have imagined!! Analiese and Debbie were amazing!!! I felt so tended to and cared for! Between the two of them asking Me what I wanted and what I felt, Analise pulled the PERFECT dress for Me!! I never felt rushed or pressured in fact just the opposite!! They let Me put on any dress I wanted and more than once. They were friendly, professional and so sweet & kind! The experience was so fantastic that I am getting my bridesmaids and maid of honor dresses there too!! I traveled from NYC and it was worth every mile!!!

Words can't express how much I loved my dress!! I am so happy I went to Sew N sew Bridal! I met Debbie at an impromptu wedding fashion show at Lake Mohawk and she invited me to her shop. I told her the style I was looking for and when I arrived she had 3 gowns already pulled. Even after browsing on my own I wound up going with one of her picks. This shows you she knows what she's doing! It was a Justin Alexander fitted mermiad w/ sweetheart neckline, built in satin corset and lace over lay. It had buttons down the back (w/a secret zipper built in and a hook & eye closure to keep everything tight). Once on and pulled back my Mom & MOH staretd to cry and that's when I knew I found my dress! Debbie and the seamstress were wonerful to make so many fitting appointments as I continued to lose weight. They were very flexible w/ the fitting times because I work in the city and had to drive a distance. Debbie was also very kind to steam my veil even though I did not buy it from her. My dress and alterations were worth every penny. There was even a guest who told me she wished she had worn someting more like mine instead of the dress she got married in 6 months ago! I thought that was pretty funny. I got so many compliments that night and sitll get them when people look at my pictures. Sew N Sew did a wonderful job and I'm so happy I decided to purchase through Debbie and not some chop shop bridal place (cough... David's Bridal). Debbie was so sweet and has an eye for exactly what is going to look great on you. Thank you Debbie for helping me choose this beautiful gown and making it compliment my body perfectly. You & your team do such a wonderful job and I don't know why a bride would go anywhere else for their dress!

It has taken me forever to write this, but here it is!!

Sew n Sew bridal is a great place to go shop and purchase your wedding dress. They have a great selection and Deb and the girls are incredibly helpful. They made me feel comfortable and special at each of my appointments and fittings.

I was married back in November the same week as Hurricane Sandy. Despite the gas shortages, power outtages, and everything else; Deb made sure that my dress made it to me, all the way down in Bloomfield, the day before my wedding in pristine condition!!

I couldn't have asked for more from a bridal shop. Oh, and they also have an excellent selection of bridesmaid dresses. We purchased those from the shop as well.

I traveled from Syracuse NY for a dress, they were more than willing to accommodate for my lateness due to traffic and construction.
All the girls were wonderful, answered any and all my questions.
The seamstress was absolutely amazing and made my dress fit my like a glove.

My sisters wedding was four months before mine. We got our bridesmaids dresses altered here. The staff was always welcoming and great to work with. Later I went back for my wedding dress and all of my 11 bridesmaids got their dresses here. They dealt with the crowd great. Inez does a fantastic job and makes your dress fit perfect. I will always go back whenever I need anything altered.

The group here is wonderful. They treat you like you are the only person that matters...even during prom season...LOL. They helped me pick the perfect dress, although we went through about 20 to get there and I tried a few of them on multiple times to make sure it was the one that I wanted. They altered the dress to exactly the way I wanted it (I didn't want a long train). And in the end...everyone thought I looked absolutely beautiful in the dress and I have them to thank for having such a great selection of dresses for me to choose from.

Sew N Sew is the best!! I got everything from my bridal dress, bridemaids dresses, flower girl dress and tuxedos at Sew N Sew. Everyone had a great experience at the store and the prices were so reasonable. Debbi and her staff worked hard to ensure everything was perfect for the wedding. We got so many compliments on all the dresses the day of the wedding. I loved my dress and it fit so well I never bothered with it once throughout the entire day. The girls dresses were beautiful and all the girls are excited to wear them again. I will recommend Sew N Sew to anyone! I will miss going in for fittings and visiting with everyone.

They have a nice selection of dresses that are hand picked by the owner. I went in and saw one dress wasn't sure if i even liked it, but once I put it on I fell in love. I had 3 fittings and the dress was perfect the satff is friendly and does an excellent job!

Debbi and her staff at Sew 'N Sew were a fabulous team to work with prior to and the day of our wedding! From trying on dresses, to purchasing and getting alterations, and then spending the entire wedding day with me - there was absolutely no pressure or hassle! It was such a great and memorable experience for me! Debbi has a fabulous shop with a variety of different styles that are appropriate and fitting for everyone! My mom fell in LOVE with a mother of the bride dress that Debbi had and looked absolutely stunning in it! Also, my husband and groomsmen cleaned up very well thanks to Debbi's tuxedo rentals! Their fittings were quick and easy and all of the guys came out looking sharp! If you are looking for great, personable service, fabulous selection... and want to look beautiful on your wedding day, you need to go to Sew 'N Sew! Debbie and everyone else that works here was great. When i went dress shopping I walked in and someone came right over to help and let me try on tons of dresses and got to know what I liked. I found my dress on that first trip. The prices on the dresses here are comparable with every other dress shop including Davids Bridal but the service is far better! Debbie even came to my house the morning of my wedding to help me get dressed and stayed till after the ceremony to bustle my dress.
When I went for my hair trial Debbie let me take some veils so that I could see how they would like with my hair, and she was willing to let me take two ring bearer suits in different sizes to Staten Island for my ring bearer to try on. I don't know of any other places that will do so much for you. I definitely recommend going here. They also have awesome sales!

I fell in love the Sew N Sew bridal & with Debbi! She is great to work with, very professional, friendly, & flexible, & she runs a great business. I bought my dress while she was running a deal on a platinum package. The platinum package is great- she came to my house on wedding day and helped put me in the dress. She also came to the venue & stayed until after the ceremony was over so that my dress could be bustled! I could not have asked for anything more from her business. My photographer never had never met Debbi before, but he was REALLY impressed. He told me I would never find another dress shop like hers, & I think he is right!

The selection isn't the largest, but if you find a dress you love at Sew N Sew I wouldn't look any further!!!!

I purchased my dress in Chicago and had it fitted at Sew n' Sew. It was a pretty complicated dress to alter due to the detailing and the placement of the seams but they just did an amazing job. My dress fit me absolutely perfectly and was in pristine condition when I picked it up (they were nice enough to offer to deliver it to me but the timing on my end didn't work out). I think that their prices might be a little bit higher than some other places in the area but it is TOTALLY worth it just for the piece of mind that your dress is in good hands.

i went twice before i found the dress i loved and when i told her that i wanted a blue wedding dress she did everything she could to help my dream come true. my dress was more beautiful then i could have ever imagined. I LOVE MY DRESS!
The day of the wedding she brought my dress and helped me keep it a secret from my bridesmaids and family, and what a surprise it was. We also got our tuxes for her and they looked awesome. Shes truly the best at what she does. I highly recommed you stop by and i bet you will find your perfect dress there too.

I traveled three hours to shop for my dress at Sew 'N Sew and then drove back 2 times for alterations. I love my wedding dress and am so happy I traveled the distance it was well worth it. Debbie and her staff are so nice and accommodating, they let me try on dresses even though I didn't have an appointment. I could not be happier with my wedding dress and the way it fit. I would highly recommend using Sew 'N Sew.

The staff at Sew 'n Sew transformed my mother's wedding dress into my wedding dress. They did a great job of executing my vision for the dress. Debbie and her staff are great to work with. From the time I started shopping for the dress until my final fitting the service was excellent. Debbie understood the style I was looking for and helped me find my perfect gown. After my July 4, 2010 Las Vegas wedding Debbie had me bring the gown in before my Aug 7, 2010 NJ ceremony to be cleaned and pressed for no fee. Debbie and all the ladies of Sew and Sew were wonderful!!! I got my dress there which was amazing they helped me find exactly what I was looking for and fit it to me perfectly!!! We dressed our entirer bridal party through Sew and Sew and everyone was so pleased with the dresses/tuxes and service!! I bought my tuxedo here and it was a great experience. The workers there helped me find a tuxedo that was the right fit and the right style. They recommended some great outfits and left me to decide. The workers there were very professional and I loved it. Finding a tuxedo was not a hassle, rather it was a fun experience and I was able to get what I wanted at a price that I thought was very reasonable and great.

Deb was great! She was so kind and helpful, especially on my wedding day. She came with me to the ceremony and the reception to bustle my dress, and to be there in case of emergencies. By the day of my wedding finally came around, Debbi was more family to me than a business owner. From start to finish, her talents and customer care was well above anything that I experienced with any other Bridal services vendor. Perhaps my favorite aspect of Sew 'n Sew is that the dresses are all out there for you, the Bride, to look at-- once Debbi gets a sense of your personal style and vision, she starts pulling pieces as well. Boutique level service with family-like consideration. And if that wasn't good enough, you can have an assistant from the store present on your wedding day to get you dressed and keep the gown looking perfect all night. Nothing can compare to a professionally secured bustle!

Deb is truly sensational. I knew the designer I liked, and called Sew n Sew to see what they had. Deb was able to have me come in the same day, where there were at least 6 gowns waiting for me. There was one gown that was hanging up which was not one I picked for myself; Deb picked it for me. When I put it on, it was a great fit and I immediately knew it was the perfect gown for me. I was amazed that she picked something so perfect for me just from talking to me on the phone!

Deb and her staff were all very professional and personable! I even went back to get my mother's and daughter's gowns there! Sew n Sew is a top notch bridal shop. The professional service and friendly & warm atmosphere far surpassed any other gown shop I have been to. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone who asked.

I would definitely recommend Sew & Sew to any bride that is on the search for the perfect dress and actually already have to several of my friends. From the second I walked into the store until the day of my wedding, I received nothing but the best from Jen & Deb at the store. The dress was fit perfectly to my body and better then I could have ever imagined. They took their time with each fitting and worked around my schedule to ensure that the dress would fit perfectly. The work that was done on the bustle was AMAZING. It was such a hard bustle to do, as the dress was at an angle, but everything was perfectly color coded that as soon as I was bustled up at the reception it was up for the night. If I had to do it all over again, I would definitely be right back at Sew & Sew. You can't go wrong!

To Future Brides and Mothers;

Recently, my daughter had her wedding day. Let me tell you why I highly recommend Debbie at Sew 'N Sew Bridal. First, she gathers information as to what will suit you. The gown selection is excellent and there is no pressure, no hard sell and a great deal of sincerity to please you. Listen to her advice. She is every bit as determined that your day, your gown etc. is everything you dream it to be. As a mother, I could step back and observe because every detail that I could want for my "little-one" was being met.

Several of the brides maids purchased there gowns there, as did I. Jen is a seamstress who is very talented and like Debbie, full of care that we were pleased.

By the time "the day" arrived, we all were aware that Debbie was there for us and it seemed that she was as much a part of the event as myself and the girls.

There is something else you should know. If Debbie does not have what you need or you need advice, her expertice is there to give you direction.

I bought my wedding dress at Sew n Sew. I was so happy with the dress and with working with Debbie and Jen, I would highly recommend them. On my wedding day, I got more compliments on the dress than anything else- it was a beautiful gown, and it was perfectly fitted. They also have a package that includes having Debbie there on your wedding day to bring the dress to you and to help you get dressed, get bussled, etc. At first I thought I didn't want the package because I thought I would save a little money. But as the wedding day approached, and transporting the dress became an issue, I decided to splurge. Wow, was it worth it! It took so much stress out of the day knowing that Debbie was there to help.

I had went to 10 bridal salons before going to Sew 'N Sew and was not able to find anything that I was looking for until I went to Sew 'N Sew. After mentioning that I loved the skirt and train of a dress but not the top, Debbie suggested that we change that to something that I like- no one from the other 10 stores that I went to ever suggested that. I felt that I had a custom dress and it was BEAUTIFUL! Debbie and Jen were so nice and so helpful throughout the whole process that every time I went there I felt that I was just visiting friends instead of the stressful visits to bridal salons that you hear about in the magazines.
I would recommend Sew 'N Sew to anyone that I know (and I have!) and I wish that I had an occasion to go to that I needed a gown all year round just so that I can visit with them! Thank you SO much for making me feel absolutely beautiful on my wedding day!!

Sew 'N Sew is a true hidden gem in Sussex County. The staff are awesome...a great combination of friendly and attentive without being overbearing whatsoever...professional but not cold. The dresses they carry are gorgeous and they offer several packages that meets everyone's budget. Before you go to New York, do yourself a favor and stop in there first. I was pleasantly surprised, and actually found my dress there and only took my matron of honor because I never thought I'd actually find one so soon! If I could do it all over again, I'd do everything exactly the same!

The staff at Sew and Sew went above and beyond to make our wedding special. We had a huge wedding party (30) and grandparents/parents/aunts/uncles that used their services. There was not one complaint. They did a wonderful job on my dress! Debbie came with me on my wedding day to be sure everything was perfect! These people put their heart and soul into their job. They do it because they love it! I could not have asked for better service/help and work! Without them, my wedding day would not have been so great! I recommend them to anyone and everyone all of the time!

Debbie and her seamstress are fantastic to work with. I ended up choosing a gown that Debbie suggested, probably one I would have never tried on myself. What an excellent selection and great prices!! My gown came in early and was altered several times to make it fit just perfectly. Deb especially was helpful in choosing hair accessories and a beautiful veil. I was also able to purchase invitations there. What a one stop shop for your wedding needs!!! Plus, I loved the fact the Debbie is so honest and down to earth...she really knows her stuff ladies!!! Deb and her staff are absolutely wonderful. Having gone to several bridal shops both in NY and NJ before finding Sew 'n Sew Bridal and Tuxedo, I can honestly say that Deb's prices and service cannot be beat. From my first visit to the store up to and including my wedding day, Deb and her staff went out of their way to make sure that I found the perfect dress, and that I looked perfect in it.

I bought everything a bride could need through Deb's store, including my shoes and tiara. In addition, I also had Deb's "Diamond Service", which I would recommend to every bride. On the day of my wedding, Deb came to my parents' house to bring over my wedding dress and help me dress. As a part of this service Deb stayed with me all day long until cocktail hour when she bustled me. Deb was there with me to make sure that I looked my best - while in the church, for pictures, and to the reception. She not only helped me with my dress, but she made sure that my mom, dad, and the entire bridal party looked fantastic. And thank goodness she was there because she really helped us out with a bridesmaid dress situation!

Through out my wedding day, I received many, many compliments on my dress, the bustle, and the beautiful shawl that Deb and her team made for me out of some extra bridal dress fabric. When I think of my wedding day and all that Deb did for us, I cannot help but smile.

Overall, Deb and her staff will give you service that is above and beyond what any bride could ask for. I am have told my friends about Deb and Sew 'n Sew, and would wholeheartedly recommend Sew 'n Sew Bridal and Tuxedo to any bride.

Sew N Sew was very easy to work with. Alterations are done on site and Jen, who does all of the fittings makes sure everything is perfect!

I was very happy with my dress from Sew 'N Sew. Even though I live abroad, I had so much confidence in their abilities that I knew everything would be perfect...and it was. I flew in 1 week before my wedding, and the dress was there waiting for me. A few small adjustments, and it fit perfect! I looked exactly how I dreamed I would!

My dress came out absolutely beautiful!! The quality of work on the alterations was wonderful. Everyone was always so cheerful and willing to help every time I step foot in the door. The tuxedos that were rented were amazing as well! I would highly recommend Sew 'n Sew!!

Sew n Sew is truly a unique bridal shop. It is a one stop shop with an amazing staff. Every time you enter it is a personal experience. Exactly how I always dreamed it would be. Since our wedding we have used Sew n Sew for many events and will continue to use Debbi and her staff for many many years to come.

Debbi, the owner, is fabulous. When we ordered the dress, there was a special where alterations were included in the price, as well as her presence the day of the wedding up until the dress was bustled by her. My parents alivein NJ, and that is why I decided to buy my dress there. I, on the other hand, live in VA, and my wedidng was in Annapolis, MD. Debbi came all the way to Annapolis and was with me throughout the pictures and the beginning of the reception. WOW!

The dress was beautifully altered, and I ended up purchasing a second one for the reception, which was altered to the way I wanted it. She custom made a bolero for me, which was amazing! We had soooo much fun at every fitting with my mom and sister ;)

She even helped all my bridesmaids with their sashes! She is a bonafide wonder woman! Thank you so much Debbie for making it a wonderful and unforgettable day!!!!

Trying on wedding dresses at Sew 'n Sew was a great experience! They were extremely nice and helpful! I love that they have tons of dresses in the store that you can touch and feel and buy immediately rather than waiting after ordering one.

Friendly, attentive, knowledgeable staff.
I am fashionably challenged. I came in looking for a dress for my son's wedding, having no idea what I was doing. Danielle asked me a few questions about myself that would help pinpoint a style dress that might work, and then encouraged me to pick out a few dresses. I tried them on...nothing too exciting. She then gave me a dress to try on that I would have never considered. Needless to say, that was the dress I picked. It was so plain but yet so elegant. Exactly what I was looking for. Debbie helped me with all the finishing touches. I was complimented on it all night long and felt very special. Thank you!

Sew 'N Sew Bridal and Tuxedo was phenomenal. I had purchased my gown at their Black Friday event and they were very helpful picking out dresses that would flatter my figure. The whole process from purchasing the gown to alterations and picking up the gown was easy. I never left without making an appointment for the next time and they were so helpful! I had to call to check on a belt for my gown and they got back to me within minutes even though the one girl was off that day. Highly recommend for all brides!

I had a wonderful experience working with Debbie and her team at Sew 'N Sew. They provided my groomsmen and I with our tuxedos. I was living in Hawaii so all of the preparations were done through email and Debbie was very responsive. She was also very flexible with final fittings as my groomsmen came in on different dates. I would strongly recommend.
