This is the best wedding venue ever!! I usually do not write reviews but had to because of the dream wedding Seven Ponds made happen. Julie, Rosie, Min and Morton (and the whole team) are amazing and I can’t put into words how magical the weekend was. The morning of our wedding, it rained, no it down poured but by 3PM the sun was shining and we were able to have an amazing ceremony. Every detail was thought of, every request was granted. Through out the whole weekend, I felt like a princess. During the reception, we were treated like royalty. At one point in the night I got something on my dress, I was dabbing it out with water and Julie came over from behind me and handed me club soda within a minute of me trying to get it out. EVERYthing was thought of. It feels like your in this wedding bubble being on the farm and every moment was filled with love and laughter and happiness. Consider this beautiful farm for your venue. You will not be disappointed!! -

Words can't even begin to express how ABSOLUTELY STUNNING Seven Ponds Farm truly is!!! Once me and my then fiancé now husband, saw this venue for the first time we knew we didn't need to look any further!! Everything from the farmhouse, the barn, to the ceremony sight is absolute perfection! Not to mention the wonderful staff!!! You can feel how much everyone genuinely cares about making sure your special day goes off with out a hitch! Morton and Min were amazing from the start, but the superstars of the staff that weekend were Julie and Shelly who handled all the little last min hectic details that had to be shuffled around and made my wedding day 100% stress free!! -

Beautiful Venue
Our wedding at Seven Ponds Farm was absolutely spectacular! The farm in the summer was beautiful and lush and made for a perfect backdrop for our wedding weekend. Staying onsite was such a treat and made the weekend extra special. The farmhouse and Virginia queen were so comfortable made us feel like we were right at home while being right in the middle of all the action.
The venue itself was the perfect blend of rustic charm and elegance, with a scenic ceremony spot and a cozy reception barn. We loved being able to add our own DIY aspects to make it personalized to us as a couple. The staff was so lovely and helped us complete our vision seamlessly. Our family and friends are still raving about the venues, the amazing food (mushroom risotto!), the personalization and just how perfect everything was. We couldn’t have asked for a more memorable and beautiful place to celebrate our big day. Highly recommend this farm for anyone looking for a truly fabulous weekend!

I don’t know how anyone could even dream of a more perfect wedding day. We found Seven Ponds Farms after weeks of research, and when we found the place that boasted an all-inclusive venue, with no curfew and no noise restrictions, we knew we had to check it out. What really sold us was the breathtaking views, a unique walk around the pond with the valley as the backdrop in lieu of a traditional walk down the aisle, and the wonderful staff. We could see that Min and Morten were passionate about what they do and how much they deeply care about their couples from the moment we met them. They took so much time answering every question, touring every bit of the venue, and even stayed beyond our appointment time to make sure that our visit was worth-while. It was the only venue we toured; we didn’t care to see any others after that. The planning process was so much easier with the tools that they provide. Wedding planning is never an easy task so I’m not going to sugar coat it, but what I can tell you is that my husband and I both work on average 50-60 hours a week and still, we didn’t feel the need to hire a planner. Having an all-inclusive venue definitely simplified things, and they provide all the forms you need to plan out every detail and help your wedding run smoothly. And of course, they are always available with any questions or advice you may need. The tasting was definitely my favorite part of the planning process. We were pretty confident that the food was going to be awesome based upon their story; all of the food is farm to table and the chefs came from Michelin Star restaurants. I had no idea just how incredible the food was going to be though. We were blown away. We had people at our wedding telling us that they didn’t even know they liked brussel sprouts or oysters (seriously, get the oysters). We ended up going with the beef short ribs, which was an upcharge, but honestly any of the choices were insanely good. You really can’t go wrong. The drink choices were great as well; all of the signature cocktails are refreshing and delicious. It was tough deciding our menu! One of the great things about Seven Ponds is it’s a whole wedding weekend experience, so we got to stay there with our bridal party all weekend. We got there on Friday and we were given time to start getting things set up for the wedding, and then we had our rehearsal dinner there. People are still talking about the taco bar, and that was only rehearsal! We invited additional guests to rehearsal so we had some extra time with our friends and family. There is a lot to do there; you can rent or bring your own lawn games, visit with the animals, and use the pond. Some of the guys went fishing the morning of the wedding, some took the boat out, and I even took a jump in the pond the night of the rehearsal! It was a blast. We were provided with our wedding managers, Julie and Rosie, and our team of servers and chefs and bartenders, so many wonderful people who I could go on and on about. I think that it’s something you really don’t think too much about going into it but it’s so crucial to having the perfect day; these are people you don’t really know, that are about to be a significant part of the most important day of your life, and we couldn’t have asked for a better team. They treated us like we were the most important people in the world. They made our whole day run so smoothly, they were kind and understanding, took care of things behind the scenes without us even knowing (we had some issues with one of our vendors and they completely took care of it for us. They didn’t even tell us about it until after the wedding was over because they didn’t want to stress us out during but just wanted to let us know in case we wanted to get reimbursed etc). But they also had a ton of fun with us, and it really felt special. They did a phenomenal job coordinating our day and taking care of our every need. I am an overthinker and I was stressed about every little detail and they really helped lighten the load for us and just made things so easy.
What's nice about Seven Ponds Farm is you can make it whatever you want it to be. They have several packages and add-ons to choose from to fit many different dreams and budgets. But ultimately I think you save a ton of time and money by choosing a venue like this that already has so much to offer and a lot of it is built right in. If I didn’t bring a single decoration it would have been fine, because the venue is beautiful as-is. I didn’t need a planner or day of coordinator because they help you through all that. I didn’t need to worry about finding a caterer or choosing dinnerware because they provide that. They have a ton of add ons that you can choose from. All around an incredible, once-in-a-lifetime experience that I will forever recommend to anyone and everyone getting married! -

We have nothing but positive feedback for Min and Morten's team at Blenheim. We were planning a wedding from Minnesota and had a 9 month engagement period. This was no issue for the team, their organizational and planning capabilities were stellar.
The venue, food, and ambience cannot be captured in photos. Every single person was incredibly kind and professional and went above and beyond all of our expectations. We've been receiving so many compliments about every aspect of the event. It was truly an amazing and perfect day that we will look back on fondly for the rest of our lives. -

I couldn’t have asked for a better place to get married than Seven Ponds Farm. The setting was absolutely beautiful, and the owners and their staff did a wonderful job of organizing everything and making sure it all went smoothly. There wasn’t much I had to worry about the day of, because I knew the staff had it all under control, which was a huge relief. The food was amazing as well, and the farmhouse was the perfect spot to have us and our wedding party stay. All of our guests have told us that it was the best wedding they have ever been to. I would 100% recommend Seven Ponds Farm! -

Tldr: look no further, this is *the* place for your wedding! It is absolutely magical, the staff is superb and you will not believe how fun and easy organizing your wedding here will be!
My wife and I are so beyond grateful to Seven Ponds for our wedding. We could not recommend it enough – and in fact we have been to every couple we know because we cannot wait to be back as wedding guests!
From the big-ticket items to the small details, every single thing about Seven Ponds is phenomenal:
- The farmhouse is perfect to host the families for the whole weekend, we so enjoyed being able to go there one day early and just take in the beauty of the place before the festivities begin.
- The ceremony spot is just like a movie. Forget walking through the isle to the altar, how about walking by a pond with the valley behind you.
- The food is all done in-house, and it is to die for. Going there in April to do a couple’s tasting and decide the menu was so fun and so difficult! Everything that they make is simply incredible.
- Seven Ponds is so incredibly well organized for all things wedding-prep. They make it so easy you will not need a wedding planner! They have a website where you can conveniently buy add-ons and personalize your event. They have a number of forms and tracking systems to make sure you are on schedule throughout the leadup to the wedding. We always felt in great hands, we could always ask questions, and make changes.
- Every member of the staff is so friendly and genuinely there for you to have a great time. Maria, our wedding manager, was so kind, thoughtful, and well-organized. Min and Morten, the owners, are incredible people. They have so much experience with event management, hospitality, and fine cuisine, and it shows in every aspect. They are so fully engaged with their space and so deeply committed to delivering the best experience possible for couples who have the luck of celebrating their wedding at Seven Ponds!
I could go on forever about this place but I’ll close just repeating: congratulations, you have found the venue of everyone’s dreams! Now book it before someone else does!!!

Seven ponds was an absolute dream for our wedding. The location itself is breathtaking and gorgeous. To The mountains, the ponds, the farm animals to the tasteful decorations, us and our guests were blown away by the beauty of this venue. Beyond being beautiful, the team at seven ponds farm were incredible. The team is really there for you the whole weekend and to help ensure your wedding is a success. We had several older guests in need of help, and they were driven by a golf cart around the venue which was extremely helpful. The food and drinks were amazing, our guests are still raving about the food. And Maria, was amazing. Our wedding was amazing, and our vision came true, and we couldn’t have done it without the support and help from the team here at seven ponds. We highly recommend this venue and are so thankful to the team there. -

Wish I could give 10 stars!
The experience we had at Seven Ponds was unmatched! We were able to have our entire wedding party plus significant others stay at the farmhouse Thursday - Sunday to play games and bond which was awesome! The views speak for themselves because the grounds are breathtaking! And the staff? INCREDIBLE! We could not have asked for more or been taken care of better (plus we had a pretty rowdy group that they handled beautifully). 10/10 would recommend to anyone that’s looking for beautiful views and a top notch wedding experience! -

Truly wonderful and amazing, including the people!
The seven ponds was a magical place that made my wife’s dream wedding come true! We had our wedding postponed from 8/14/2021 to 8/13/2022 because of Covid and we had all our vendors secured, including our venue. 3 months before our wedding date, our original venue was forced to close down and we were force to find a new venue. After nonstop of searching for a new venue for 14 days straight, we were bless to find the seven ponds. After contacting them, everything from there went so smoothly. They were so helpful in every way possible because of how little time we had left until the wedding. From the moment we contacted them to the wedding day, everything was perfect and they were so accommodating! In our opinion, the seven ponds beats any ballroom venue around the country because of how magical their property is. The seven ponds is so beautiful, relaxing, and amazing! They were at our disposal every second of the day. My wife and I are nothing but thankful, grateful, and bless to have our dream wedding at seven ponds because it was definitely a memorable moment we will never forget! From the very beginning of finding the venue and saying yes to Seven Ponds Farms, it was such an easy and stress free process. The owners Min and Mort are amazing and their staff goes above and beyond to make sure the day went without a hitch. Maria was a such a help from making sure all of our documents were correct and that all of our questions about the venue were answered in a timely manner. Our Day of Coordinators were amazing both Lisa and Cassey made sure every single aspect of the day from getting our bridal party down the aisle to working with us with the vendors. The whole Day was so smooth and stress free.
The food selection was perfect and everyone raved about the menu and dessert. I could have not picked such a perfect and magical places to get married to my best friend. I hope whoever sees this review jumps at the opportunity to have their magical day at Blenheim hill or their sister farm Seven Ponds! -

We had a wonderful wedding weekend at Seven Ponds Farm in June, 2022 after postponing our wedding for a year due to the pandemic. The owners and event management team were very helpful and communicative throughout the planning process over the last two years. Everything was exceptional onsite throughout the whole weekend - we loved staying onsite at the farmhouse, our guests raved about the food, and the natural beauty of the farm and surrounding area was stunning. We had just the most wonderful experience at Seven Ponds - we feel lucky to have been able to hold a 100 person wedding at such a beautiful venue during the COVID pandemic with no limitations! The Staff are amazing, the food is irresistible (team Short Ribs), and the venue is beyond reproach.
Brides will love the long walk from the farmhouse to the altar overlooking the ponds!

Great team, amazing location.
When we first visited Seven Ponds, after seeing at least ~8 other locations, we pulled the car over and canceled all of our other remaining visits. The property was unbelievable - amazing views, beautiful land, a great house/facility.
My partner and I were originally scheduled to get married Labor Day of 2020 - obviously, those plans were impacted by COVID. We had to shift a full year later, to Labor Day of 2021. The entire team, the team at Seven Ponds was incredibly easy to work with (including rescheduling all their couples) and very communicative about the process.
The day of, everything went according to plan, and the staff were excellent to work with. No one really comments on the food at weddings, but our food and drink service was fantastic, and the day itself was magical. -

I am stingy and paranoid of being taken advantage of. That being said Min and Morten are truly amazing people who are flexible and full of love for their clients. I would recommend ANYONE who is able to have their wedding here. This is not a cliche hipster venue- played out. This is a one of a kind experience on mountain tops. From accommodations to service (whoever was our point of contact on our day was simply the most amazing man) and to the DELICIOUS food- WOW. I don't plan on getting married again, but we may just need to renew our vows here. -

First of all, the location and scenery were amazingly charming and breath taking!
We reserved the historical house for two days and our two families even with different cultural background (Hong Kong & French Canadian) were completely charmed. It was such precious moments to be able to spend two nights and three days with people we love from abroad in a relaxing environment like this one.
In addition, we would never felt as comfortable if it wasn't for the warmth and kindness from the owners Min and Morten who wholeheartedly welcomed us as if we were home. They were present during the wedding and blended in almost as part of our extended family.
Meeting them to their restaurants in New York City and experiencing their menu prior to the wedding was also something that made us feel at ease.
Fredrik coordinated the ceremony and evening with such professionalism and friendliness that guests were wondering from which side of the family he was from.
Everything from the ceremony to the dance party was magical! From the words of our guests and videographer-photographer: "It was out of this world!"
We genuinely thank Min, Morten, Fredrik, Carol and the whole team of Seven Pond to have helped made this day one of the best of our lives!

Best Wedding Venue and Team Ever!!
I cannot say enough about our wedding and experience with Seven Ponds Farm. Among many things, Erik and I are foodies and environmentalists, and Seven Ponds Farm represents those two aspects flawlessly. The forethought that owners Min and Morten put into every detail of Seven Ponds, is what makes this place truly unique. From the gorgeous vistas, to the handcrafted details of the farmhouse, every aspect has been carefully planned to make for a dream come true venue.
Once you fall in love with the venue, and can’t imagine having your wedding anywhere else, it only gets better. I tend to be slightly OCD, and detail orientated, and I think have met my match in Carol! I did not stress nor worry at any point through the planning process! Carol knows what she is doing and took care of everything! She walked me through every detail until I was happy, and even brought up things I wouldn’t have thought of. I cannot express how much I enjoyed working with her! She is a gem, with a great sense of humor, and an ease about her.
I don’t think that I could pick out my one favorite part of our wedding, but if I had to, the food definitely would be towards the top of that list! So many weddings I have been to, is the same dried out chicken, and over sauced meat. Fortunately, you will not find anything like that at Seven Ponds! Just the opposite, you and your guest will think you are eating at an elegant 5-star restaurant. The food is delectable, unique, and full of flavor. Our guest kept saying “This is real food.” And I could not agree more, it’s a real farm to table experience for your taste buds. And the marzipan cake (drool), is the perfect ending to your meal. It is just the right amount of sweetness, while still being light and airy.
If the incredible team, and food weren’t enough the venue itself is picturesque. Set among gorgeous views of the mountains, valleys and ponds, everywhere you look is a treat for your eyes. The renovated barn is just as spectacular, with the kayak chandelier and the handmade wooden tables and chairs.
One last added perk, Mina! She is a love! She along with Carol made sure everything was taken care, and all the details were in place. This even include freshly made berry muffins delivery in the morning while we were staying at the farmhouse.
I cannot overstate the rustic sophistication of this venue, and Min and Morten and their team. Every need from beginning to end was met. If you are looking for a wedding venue, contact Min and Morten at Seven Ponds. -

If I could give them 10 stars I would. Gorgeous, perfect, stunning, spectacular…and every other similar adjective. Our Seven Ponds wedding exceeded every expectation. The setting is just beautiful – impossible to get a bad picture with the farm as a backdrop. The farmhouse suited our bridal party to a T. Everyone had plenty of room, the well-equipped kitchen made it easy to feed our crew on the Friday before and the Saturday of the wedding. We enjoyed a delicious barbecue buffet after our rehearsal and family and bridal party gathered around the bonfire with s’mores afterward. The morning of the wedding, the amazing team (more about them later) doted on us with mimosas and freshly baked muffins. The wedding ceremony went off without a hitch – timing was perfect. And the cocktail hour and reception flew by way too fast. Guests were in awe of the food and the setting in the barn. Our Sunday morning brunch on the porch was the perfect way to close out a perfect weekend. Kudos, applause, and many, many thanks to team leaders, Slywia & Jab – not sure they slept at all over the weekend! They were patient, kind, cheerful, and full of good humor. They kept everything running smoothly and seemed to be in six different places at once. Keeping up the same pace were the rest of the staff. We also must mention our bartender extraordinaire for the weekend, Greg! He managed to stay on top of everyone’s particular order and made every guest feel welcome and catered to. We also know there were many others who maintained the barn, the farmhouse, chefs and others who served our party – everyone was wonderful. We booked our wedding just after Min and Morton purchased the farm – it wasn’t finished when we first saw it. They had a beautiful vision of what they wanted to create and we benefited from the realization of that vision! Their commitment to ensuring bride, groom, family, and guests was clear when they were there to greet us on Friday and stopped in at the reception on Saturday. Be able to do the pre wedding planning of food tastings, meetings, etc at their restaurant in NYC was extremely helpful, as that's where we are based. They were extremely attentive and on top of it the entire way, answering every question we had! Wish we could do it all again every weekend! -
Ellen Sent on 10/10/2018I cannot say enough about our family's experience this past weekend at Seven Ponds Farm for my daughter's wedding. From our first meeting with owners Min and Morton, and our Event Manager Fredrik, there was no doubt we made the right decision. Planning and restructuring to fit our vision and budget was seamless; the venue is nothing short of spectacular. Min and Morton leave nothing to chance and are extremely hands on. Fredrik was incredible from start to finish, as was the entire staff, but he went above and beyond with not only my daughter but my elderly mom and ALL of the guests. The farmhouse was the perfect for the bridal party's sleeping accommodations as well as day off prep! My guests are just amazed at the level of care and attention he paid to everyone at the wedding and all of the guests had the time of their life! I cannot recommend Seven Ponds Farm enough - it will add a level of spectacular to your once in a lifetime day!

Leila Sent on 08/29/2018Words can't express how amazing our wedding weekend was, and it is all thanks to the incredible dream team at Seven Ponds Farm. As the new sister farm of the well-known Blenheim Hill Farm property, we knew right away that we were in great hands. We visited the not-yet completed Seven Ponds Farm in the middle of the freezing winter in January with snow/ice covering everything, but Min and Morten's vision for this farm was so clear, we fully trusted that they would execute. And by golly, did they deliver!!! We are SO thrilled that we trusted this team with our wedding (1st wedding held at Seven Ponds!), because it was absolutely a dream come true. The site for the ceremony has the most breathtaking view of the mountains. All the guests are facing the beautiful birch arch with the large pond right in front, with mountains in the back scenery. It's something out of a fairytale book! They have a beautiful walkway around the perimeter of the pond where the bride makes the grand entrance. The barn was absolutely beautiful as well with a nice rustic yet modern look. They have the entire table and chair setup, along with tableware, so you have nothing to worry about there! The food was off the charts and multiple guests commented that this was the best food they've ever had at a wedding. I also recommend you stay at the farmhouse for the weekend, as that was the icing on the cake with family and wedding party getting to know each other and hang out all weekend. It was the absolute best.
The venue and the team (Min, Morten, Carol, Fredrik) make Seven Ponds a dream. I'm certain it will only be a matter of time before this place gets so popular that there will be a waitlist, so we are absolutely honored to have been first and to share this experience with them.

Seven Ponds Farm is the first and only venue that my fiance and I toured. We weren't even set on getting married within the next year, but we happened to find Seven Ponds online and figured we would tour. We fell in love immediately. We knew we wanted a few things out of whatever space we found: 1) somewhere we could have a weekend event with onsite accommodations, 2) good food and beverage, and 3) beautiful scenery. Seven Ponds was all of this and more. They have streamlined the planning process so that you truly do not need a wedding planner, and with food and beverage being included in the package, it's just that much less to plan. We got to the venue on Thursday and were able to enjoy the house, swim in the pond, and prep the space at our leisure. The day of, everything went seamlessly thanks to their stellar team of coordinators and staff. Guests are still telling me what a perfect day it was. Min and Morten (the owners) are so kind and are genuinely invested in making sure you are happy with everything. Book this venue, I promise you will not regret it!! -

I honestly don’t know where to start. Typically, I’m not one to leave positive reviews—I’m usually more inclined to leave negative ones—but Seven Ponds has completely changed that. Saying our wedding weekend was perfect doesn’t even begin to capture how incredible it was - it’s actually a gross understatement. Mort, Min, Laurence, Olivia, and the entire team at Seven Ponds Farm made us and every one of our guests feel like we were in a dream. From the breathtaking views to the exquisite food, and their impeccable service, Seven Ponds Farm is hands down the best wedding venue we could have chosen.
Whenever an issue arose (and there were very few), the staff went above and beyond to address it, ensuring we felt supported every step of the way. Their kindness, generosity, and personal touch made the experience even more unforgettable.
Our guests have been reaching out to tell us they can’t believe how amazing the wedding was—the stunning setting, the incredible food, and the outstanding service. They all said it felt unreal.
If you’re on the fence about booking this venue, here’s my advice: DO IT. The team worked within our budget, offered flexible payment options, and were so accommodating throughout the planning process. We first visited the venue in the dead of winter, with bare trees and frozen ponds, but even then, we knew it would be the perfect backdrop for our fall wedding.
I can’t express enough how thrilled we are that we chose Seven Ponds for our wedding weekend. It’s an experience that our friends and family will be talking about for years to come. A huge thank you to everyone who helped make our day so perfect, unique, and, most importantly, fun! Our entire experience with the team at Seven Ponds was fantastic from beginning to end. All the way from the tour around the beautiful property on our first visit to the big day, Min, Mort, Maria, Lisa, and Cassie were all so dedicated to giving us an amazing wedding experience.
Mort and Min were so welcoming when we came to visit and at our first menu tasting, and Maria helped us make sure every detail was taken care of as we went through the planning process and kept everything organized and on time. Lisa and Cassie were invaluable on our wedding day and dealt with all the tiny details that made the day go smoothly.
We especially loved our stay at the farmhouse, it’s so beautiful and cozy and made us feel like we were welcoming guests into our own home. We definitely recommend checking in on Thursday, we felt so much more settled and relaxed the whole weekend.
We are beyond satisfied with every aspect of our wedding from the preliminary stages to planning through the day itself, the staff at Seven Ponds made it a wonderful experience and we would be thrilled to recommend it to anyone. -

For our wedding we wanted to emulate these weekend trips we do upstate with a close group of friends and just make it bigger to include our family. Seven Ponds farm provided our two requirements of what we were looking for - a big house that could fit all our friends and a swimming pond right on the property. We also really appreciated that we didn't need to hire a wedding planner and could utilize the venues resources for all the planning aspects.
We really appreciated how the Seven Ponds staff let us do our own thing throughout the weekend for a really relaxed environment, but then whenever we needed them they were right there helping with things like doing a practice run of the ceremony and answering specific questions about the house etc. It was also so wonderful that the staff were able to handle things like setting up the tables and the candles for us for the wedding dinner.
Overall the forms and calls for the planning process were really helpful. We did have a little frustration at the wedding tasting as we thought it was an opportunity to ask questions about the food and overall found out that they really don't want you asking many questions and would prefer you to just read the written packet they provide without interacting in person with questions. I would also recommend being well versed on the packet you purchased as they won't be able to answer questions about what packet you bought. This was a bit different than we expected and knowing what I know now I might recommend not bringing family or friends to the tasting or otherwise just preparing them to just fill out the paperwork quietly as us not realizing this made for a more difficult tasting experience. There was also one staff member at the tasting who was a bit rude to our family members and I was so worried that this negative energy would be reflected at our wedding so I asked for a different wedding coordinator to lead our wedding. Overall the impersonal nature of the tasting also just made me really worried that the wedding would have the same feel and so I wanted to include this to note that while the tasting process wasn't as personal this was not the case at the wedding and the wedding atmosphere was really lovely.
After the tasting I asked for Rosie to be our lead wedding coordinator as she had a much warmer energy and I can't recommend Rosie enough. She truly made our wedding experience. If you're looking for a wedding coordinator who has a graceful upbeat energy, stays calm and is easy to communicate with definitely ask for Rosie.
There was a big storm on the day of our wedding and Rosie was so helpful staying calm and telling me to not loose hope about doing the ceremony outside. Morten was also really great with a specific weather device he had that allowed us to see when we had a good window to do the ceremony outside and very happy to say it all worked out and we got our dream outdoor ceremony.
Overall I really got the wedding I dreamed of and we had such a relaxed and personal atmosphere. We really appreciated all the work the staff did to set up the wedding which allowed us to really just have fun, enjoy and not worry about logistical details. We so appreciated the flower package the venue provided for setting up the flowers and the bonfire packages.
Overall we loved our wedding so much and are so happy we went with Seven Ponds! :) -

My husband and I recently celebrated our wedding at Seven Ponds Farm, and despite some unexpected rain, it was truly the best day ever. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning beauty of the venue. The mountains, the ponds, the charming farm (and the adorable goats)—it was all picture perfect. Our guests couldn't stop raving about the gorgeous setting. And even when the weather threatened to dampen our plans, the incredible team at Seven Ponds Farm swooped in to save the day! They seamlessly flipped our ceremony and cocktail hour so we could still get those breathtaking mountain views during our ceremony. They even brought delicious snacks and drinks from the cocktail hour to our bridal suite so we wouldn't miss out on any of the fun. We also opted to have both our rehearsal dinner and our reception at the venue, and guests could not stop raving about the delicious food! Those who were vegetarians especially enjoyed the fish tacos available during the rehearsal dinner, and the veg option for the reception. Olivia and Edvard were absolutely amazing. They were so professional, accommodating, and truly helped us every step of the way. When the power went out in the main house while we were getting ready, they were right there to help us get it back on. Their calm demeanor and quick thinking really put us at ease. We can't recommend Seven Ponds Farm enough. It's a magical place with an exceptional team who will make sure your wedding day is everything you've ever dreamed of. If you're looking for a venue that's both beautiful and has incredible service, look no further. -

Most Beautiful, Perfect Wedding Venue!
Our first introduction to Seven Ponds Farm was on a miserably cold and snowy day in January 2018. It was before the owners, Min and Morten, had started renovations. The place looked terrible. We couldn't possibly fathom how it could become the beautiful, refined venue that Min and Morton had in mind. Yet even then we could tell there was something magical about the location. And after seeing their original venue, Blenheim, we decided to trust the owners' vision.
It was easily the best wedding-related decision we made.
The transformation the venue has undergone is like night and day. Min and Morten did a truly outstanding job. We could not have been more delighted to have had our wedding at Seven Ponds Farm; it was the perfect rustic-chic venue. The views are stunning. It rained off and on our entire wedding day, and we still have fantastic photos. The food was amazing - our guests loved it, and we know more than a few food snobs. We loved that our wedding party could stay at the house with us the whole weekend. We had lawn games, bonfires, farm animals. The staff recreated a cocktail we had at a 2 Michelin-starred restaurant for one of our signature his/her drinks - they even ordered a special liqueur just to make it. The new rehearsal dinner spot is great. Our day of coordinator, Danyelle, was super attentive and thoughtful. Our whole wedding planning process was rather stress-free, and we give a ton of credit to Seven Ponds Farm for that.
As a new venue, there are, of course, some growing pains. They could definitely work on their communication and organization, for example. But we fully believe this is something that they will be able to improve as time goes on and they perfect operating a second venue.
Ultimately, we couldn't possibly dream of a better wedding venue. Thank you for everything, Seven Ponds Farm!! -

Perfect wedding day!
We found Seven Ponds via their other property, Blenheim. Min and Morten were so friendly and warm when we met them, we knew they were the people we wanted to work with. We booked Seven Ponds before it was finished being renovated and have gotten to see how it has progressed over the last year and half. It's really clear how much the team cares about this space and how much work they've continuously put in to make it a better space for each and every couple. Working with the team in NYC was a lot of fun and made it easy for us to plan alongside them. They were great at answering our questions and being responsive especially as the date got closer. Our experience on the farm itself was really amazing. We loved staying in the house beforehand and many of our guests made the comment that they would've loved to have stayed longer! The property is gorgeous and a really peaceful place. The team was flexible with us the weekend of and was really attentive throughout the wedding itself. The food and drinks were delicious. Seven Ponds provides lawn games, bonfires, and smores as well which made for a really fun night. We also did the chinese lanterns which was so fun and unique. We loved our wedding day and don't see how it could've been more perfect. Thanks so much Min, Morten, Carol, Danielle, Laura, Fredrick, Jab and the rest of the team! -

We got married at Seven Ponds Farm on August 10,2024 and it was absolutely amazing. Julie and Vicky were so helpful throughout the whole weekend. We booked the farmhouse for us and our bridal party, hosted the rehearsal dinner there as well. Things got a little pricey, but looking back it was worth it. It was convenient everything was there and our bridal/groom party didn’t have to drive all around to different places to rehearse. Farmhouse is beautiful and so are the grounds. We really wanted a wedding in the mountains but didn’t want our guests to drive too far. This is a great in between. You won’t regret it, seven ponds really is beautiful! -

Beautiful venue
Absolutely stunning venue. The wedding went amazing with the help of Julie and Olivia along with the staff at Seven Ponds on our wedding day. The day was seamless and taking advantage of staying on site made the day feel stress free. It was great to have food and drink covered with the venue as this was one less vendor that could have caused stress on the big day!
Planning forms were helpful to make sure all things were covered and things went according to plan. Only thing with the planning process is it seemed as if Seven Ponds tried to upsell everything and questioned some of our decisions although after talking to them, a compromise came about.
Couldn’t have been happier to pick the venue for our special day and we will remember the beauty of the venue forever. -

My husband and I had a beautiful wedding at Seven Ponds in October 2022, due to the stunning location, beautiful scenery, phenomenal weather, amazing vendors, and meticulous planning on our part. However, there was a long list of issues and given the amount of money we paid we felt it was in our right to voice our complaints, but the venue took ZERO responsibility for any issues. Here is a summary of our issues.
FARMHOUSE ISSUES: The farmhouse is advertised as sleeping 20 people, but only about six rooms slept adult couples comfortably (pull out couches, bunk beds, trundles etc. are unacceptable accommodations for adults paying a premium). The rooms were swarming with flies and hornets, including an obvious hornets’ nest in the bridal suite window. On the morning of the wedding my husband was killing hornets in the bridal salon and neighboring rooms while we were getting ready. The staff vacuumed up bugs but when they returned our complaints were brushed off as quote “on the farm where we raise cows, flies/insects tend to be attracted to warm sunny windows after a sudden temperature change”. Due to the inability to open windows because of the bugs, there was little air in the rooms and the blasting heating vents could not be closed off fully. The second night we actually slept on the couch in the bridal salon to make use of the only AC unit. However some of our guests rooms were freezing at the same time. During our stay the sink in the third floor bathroom leaked onto the main staircase where someone slipped descending the stairs in the night. We felt patronized when the venue responded that they found quote “no traces of leaks on the ceiling over the main staircase. Is it possible some guests spilled water on the staircase?” We had stood on the stairs at 3am and watched the water come from the ceiling when the person who slipped woke us up. Because of these issues, many of our wedding party were not comfortable to pay for the cost of these accommodations (which were already high because the farmhouse fit much less people then we anticipated) and we had to absorb these costs ourselves.
LACK OF ANIMALS: At our tour we were told guests would be able to get eggs from the chickens, feed the horses, and have goats in or wedding photos, and as animal lovers this was a key selling point. We understand there were some extenuating circumstances, but by time of our wedding arrived there were only cows. Though via zoom meetings the staff assured they would have some animals for photos and interaction after the ceremony, it was never once offered even after repeated requests in meetings leading up to the wedding day. Instead of apologizing in a follow up email they said, “We however never listed specific animals as "amenities" of the venue in the contract.”
BARN LOUNGE: The glass doors in the barn that separate the main room from the lounge were advertised as opening significantly so that the space would feel connected, but in reality they open just enough for a person to walk through. If you have over 100 people be prepared to throw the rest in a blocked back room, where they will have to leave their tables to see the first dances, speeches, etc.
LACK OF STAFF: On the wedding day there was no staff on site at the venue until 1:00pm, leaving our families and vendors with questions without help. We fully understood our responsibility in loading/setting up as per the contract, but were not expecting an onsite coordinator available to coordinate until only three hours prior. Their response that quote “the role of day-of-coordinator is different from that of a personal assistant or bridal assistant waiting by your door getting coffee and hair clips and running errands” was insulting as we were not asking for help, but instead someone who was available to answer vendor questions about the venue.
FOOD ISSUES: One of our biggest complaints was that we, the couple, had little to no food during cocktail hour! As is custom we were busy taking photos and mingling, but wedding catering rule 101 is save horderves for the couple and make sure they eat! The drinks, which we were told would be served in beautiful signature glasses, were the same plastic cups as all other drinks The quality of the “signature cocktails” with all its hyped up farm fresher ingredients was very mediocre and iced down. The salad and dinner portions were remarkably smaller than the price tag would suggest, esp after having upgraded to the highest tier meal plan. The much hyped up ‘zucchini steak’ myself and many of our vegetarian guests chose turned out to be a few slices of thin unseasoned zucchini. Many guests never saw dessert, including the groom and his parents. There were not nearly enough portions available, many people went in search of them directly after, and I myself had to ask the kitchen staff.
INADEQUATE POWER: The DJs equipment kept shutting off during the reception. When my husband talked to the DJ he said he believed the circuit kept tripping. He was shocked as he had played the venue before with that set up and not had problems. He was scrambling to go to back up equipment to try and limit his draw on the system. While this was going on my husband ran to find our day of coordinator to help, she was in the kitchen eating soup and did not have any sense of urgency to assist nor did she offer any solutions that made any tangible difference. Eventually after changing out all the DJ equipment to his back up gear with a smaller draw it began to work again. When we emailed the venue, they wrote back “your DJ had faulty equipment, even though he denied it” and took zero responsibility for their inadequate power and knowledge on the matter. We felt as though they didn't provide him with an adequate set up or information to make sure this situation did not arise and didn't take any appropriate steps to help fix it once it did.
UNCOMFORTABLE TIPPING: Beware of their policy on tipping which forbids guests from tipping staff directly. They require you to send a lump-sum tip to management for them to distribute as they see fit. This was not something we had ever heard of as former food service professionals or our catering industry relatives had ever heard of. Regardless we still intended to do it as tipping is important, but no one from the staff approached our designated parent who was to hand over the tip on the night of so it didn't get paid that day. Then after they were disrespectful to our concerns after the fact (during which we never asked for or intended to get a refund of any kind. We only wanted some accountability or empathy.) they offered us a small percentage refund to sign an NDA stating we could not share any of these negative experiences publicly. So we told them to take that refund and distribute it to their staff as our tip, we were not signing anything. And we felt that if we sent a tip through their procedure it was unlikely to be distributed as we expected.
This is all unfortunate as the venue is beautiful and the staff and owners were very lovely leading up to these issues so we felt blindsided by them and their attitude towards us after the fact. Additionally their reviews online are stellar and we are now left wondering if we were truly the only ones to have any issues or if most other folks took the small refund and signed the NDA.
