    One of the Best Investments in Our Wedding

    Where do I even begin? Hiring Maryssa and the Seven Oh Seven team was, without question, one of the best investments we made throughout our entire wedding.

    From the very beginning, Maryssa felt less like a wedding planner and more like a trusted partner - the person in your corner who genuinely wants your day to be everything you've imagined. She is incredibly responsive, endlessly patient, and has the rare ability to make you feel like your wedding is the most important one she's working on. No question was too small, no request felt like a burden, and every interaction left us feeling supported, excited, and completely taken care of.

    Our wedding evolved significantly over the planning process. What started as one vision grew into a three-day celebration with a welcome event, Vietnamese tea ceremony, wedding day, and farewell breakfast. Not only did Maryssa adapt effortlessly as our plans changed, she embraced every new idea with enthusiasm and helped us make it even better than we imagined.

    She helped us find the venue of our dreams, introduced us to an incredible network of local vendors, and was equally excited to collaborate with vendors we specifically wanted to bring onto our team. She never made us feel boxed into a preferred list - her priority was always helping us create our wedding, not someone else's version of it.

    Beyond her incredible organization and attention to detail, what truly sets Maryssa apart is how deeply she cares. She has such a warm, calming presence and an incredible ability to make you feel heard. She listened carefully to what mattered to us, advocated for our vision, anticipated needs before we even realized them, and consistently went above and beyond in ways both big and small. She made the entire planning process feel seamless, even when there were countless moving pieces behind the scenes.

    We also added on her content creation and photography services for the wedding weekend, and we're so glad we did. She captured so many meaningful moments while somehow also making sure everything continued running smoothly. It perfectly reflects who she is - someone who is always looking for ways to give her clients even more than they expected.

    Maryssa's entire team was phenomenal. Professional, kind, organized, and genuinely wonderful to be around. They created an atmosphere where we were able to be fully present with our family because we knew everything was in the best possible hands.

    She isn't just an exceptional wedding planner - she's an exceptional human being. If you're considering hiring her, don't hesitate. She will become one of the greatest gifts of your wedding experience, and I truly cannot imagine our celebration without her.

    Content Creator Extraordinaire

    Maryssa was our content creator for our small wedding at MacArthur place in Sonoma, CA. We absolutely loved working with her! She captured some of our favorite moments of the day. Having short videos capturing the big moments throughout the day was exactly what we were looking for as we decided to forego a traditional videographer. We received everything within 24-48 hours compared to having to wait several weeks for our photographer. We loved that she was very familiar with the venue and most of our other wedding vendors. Not only did she take BEAUTFIUL photos and videos, she also stepped in (without asking) to help me get into my dress since I did not have a wedding party. We are so grateful for Maryssa and only wish we would have had her longer!

    Maryssa kept everything on track - couldn't have done it without her!

    Writing this review way too late, but had to share how great Maryssa from Seven Oh Seven Events was for our wedding last year.

    She's incredibly organized and responsive, which was exactly what we needed. The week before our wedding, a few small things went sideways and she completely talked us off the ledge and handled everything. On the actual day, she just knew what needed to happen and when - we barely had to think about logistics.

    Her rates were totally reasonable for what she delivered. She's clearly done this a lot in Sonoma and has great relationships with all the vendors. Everyone seemed to know her and respect her timeline, which made coordination so much smoother

    The software she uses and all her checklists made the whole planning process way less overwhelming. Everything was laid out clearly so we always knew what was coming up and what decisions we needed to make.

    Maryssa is professional, thoughtful, and truly the best!

    We cannot say enough amazing things about Maryssa and the entire team at Seven Oh Seven Events! From start to finish, Maryssa was incredibly supportive, thoughtful, and on top of every single detail. She was always quick to respond to our many (many!) emails and made the entire planning process feel manageable and enjoyable.

    Maryssa has a unique way of offering her professional opinion while still making sure our vision for the day was the priority. She truly brought everything to life, from helping us with rental and floral orders to ensuring our reception space was set up exactly as we imagined. It was absolutely BEAUTIFUL, and we were blown away seeing it all come together.

    She has a great relationship with so many wedding vendors and she was also so professional when it came to working with these vendors and handling the inevitable wedding day hiccups behind the scenes. Her calm and capable presence gave us so much peace of mind.

    As someone who loves a good checklist, the Aisle Planner tool she uses is an absolute game-changer. The customized checklist includes every detail you could possibly think of and kept us so organized throughout the entire planning process.

    Maryssa made our planning process a joy

    We knew we wanted to hire a wedding planner, but until we worked with Maryssa, we didn't fully understand the sheer scope, love, and dedication that go into planning a well-executed event. Maryssa made it look effortless -- I was hopelessly swimming in unorganized emails, but she had everything meticulously printed out for us, no detail forgotten.

    It was a relief to know that, even when we didn't quite know what we wanted, Maryssa had our backs, and could set us up for our dream wedding. We asked for a pretty unconventional event -- an afternoon garden party wedding, with lots of unusual details (e.g. lawn games, a horah break, a gelato cart), and Maryssa wove it together into an event with a natural flow and gorgeous vibe.

    Dream Wedding Planner!

    Our wedding in Sonoma at the Barn at Harrow Cellars, as well as rehearsal dinner were flawlessly executed and managed by Maryssa Souza and her team. Everything from helping guide us on rentals, decor, details, and all of her flawless execution the day off - we can't explain how unworried we were throughout the entire planning process and day of the wedding as well. Her team is so friendly, honest, organized, and gives you the tools as well to keep yourself truly organized. The team was quick to respond to any random questions we had and also so kind and super fun to work with. We were sad in a way that the planning process was done as it ended our time getting to work with Maryssa. Her a la carte packages give you the flexibility to get the support that you need and want throughout the planning process too which was great to have. We can't reiterate enough that the day of our wedding we never thought twice or really were stressed about anything because of how organized and thoughtful Maryssa was in orchestrating everything. Our wedding was about 185 people with large bridal/groomsmen parties and families and the day felt like an intimate gathering in many ways because Maryssa and her team made the day so easy and carefree for us all. Her knowledge of all vendors throughout the greater Napa Valley is beyond impressive as well and was critical in helping us choose our rehearsal dinner and after party spot as well. So many of my friends have had tough experiences with planners, and truly Seven Oh Seven Events set the bar high and we couldn't recommend them enough!

    Beyond a Wedding Planner: Maryssa’s Care and Attention Made All the Difference

    Our experience with Maryssa, Founder & Wedding Planner at Seven Oh Seven Events, was nothing short of extraordinary. From the very beginning, she guided us through the wedding planning process with unmatched patience, kindness, and an incredible attention to detail. It was clear from the start that she truly loves what she does, and it showed in every interaction we had with her.

    We would have been completely lost without her expertise, but thanks to her, we felt supported every step of the way. Whenever we had doubts or concerns, Maryssa immediately stepped in with solutions, calming our nerves - she genuinely made us feel like we were her only clients with the amount of care and attention she gave us, not to mention extremely timely responses! There were many moments when we felt out of our depth, but knowing she was on our team made the entire process more exciting and enjoyable. Her presence allowed us to focus on the joy of our wedding rather than stress over the details because we knew she had our backs. And she truly did!

    The biggest testament to her talent came on our wedding day. We had planned a fully outdoor wedding...and with no plan B in place, the day arrived with non-stop rain. Despite our hopes that the weather would clear, we eventually had to move everything indoors at the very last minute (legit the last minute... poor Maryssa). Maryssa handled this challenge with such grace and professionalism, creating a new plan on the spot and executing it so flawlessly that it felt as though everything had always been meant to happen that way. She turned what could have been a stressful situation into a beautiful, romantic, and perfectly orchestrated event.

    By the end of the process, Maryssa didn’t just feel like our planner—she became a true friend. The connection we built with her went far beyond just planning; her genuine care for us as a couple made the experience even more special. We can’t say enough about how instrumental Maryssa was in creating a wedding day that we will cherish forever. Working with her was a dream, and we're honestly sad that we won't have any more planning calls with her. She was a true blessing to us, and we’ll always be grateful for everything she did to make our wedding day perfect.

    Just the best!

    Seven Oh Seven Events was recommended to us by our venue and after that first conversation with Maryssa I knew she was the best. Maryssa helped us make decisions, stay on track, keep organized and settle all the chaos from over a year out all the way till the day of our wedding. There were multiple times where we wanted to visit our venue for tastings, photos, measurements or show family members and Maryssa would always make the time to join us. I don't know how she does it! She makes you feel like your wedding is her main priority always (even when she has a million throughout the year). She has an eye for design and all the little details which for me being a type A person was something I appreciated greatly! Maryssa truly wants you to be happy, even when you decide 2 weeks out that you want disco balls hanging over your dance floor she makes it happen! When you hire Maryssa you are getting a wedding planner, a coordinator, a friend, a supporter and a cheerleader. My only regret and biggest recommendation would be to hire her first before any other decisions! Thank you Maryssa for everything you made our day so special!

    We love 7OH7!

    We hired 7Oh7 Events to coordinate our wedding and it was the best decision we could have made for ourselves. Our assigned coordinator was Alyssa and we are so grateful for her. For many months leading up to our big day, Alyssa was available to answer any questions we had about our planning. She answered our texts and emails promptly, and made time for phone calls whenever we needed more in depth help. Once she became the point of contact for all of our vendors, my wife and I were really able to breathe and find some relief amongst all the stress of wedding planning. It was so relieving to have somebody that was confident, knowledgeable, and determined guiding us through this process that was so new to us. Not only was Alyssa an incredible resource for us to lean on, she was also an amazing human. We felt very comforted by her presence during our venue walk-throughs, rehearsals, etc. When we got engaged, the best advice we got was to hire a coordinator. We got so lucky in discovering 7Oh7 events to do the job for us and WOW did they get the job done right. Thank you Alyssa and thank you 7Oh7 Events for helping us make our dream wedding the real thing!

    there is NO ONE better than Maryssa

    Maryssa is superwoman. Maryssa made our day so special, she took all of the work off of our plate, she helped us plan the perfect wedding and was there for our every question and need. We could not have asked for a better wedding planner. A few words that come to mind when I think of Maryssa are: organized, thoughtful, smart, attentive, kind, forward thinking, genuine and ALWAYS made us feel heard and important. She is the best in the business.

    Maryssa is an all-star planner!

    I am so glad to have chosen Maryssa for my wedding planner in Sonoma! As a pretty detail oriented person, I felt confident making a lot of decisions for my wedding, but there were certain things, especially around rentals and timeline, I knew I wanted to trust the professionals.

    Every step of the way, Maryssa was available to answer my many questions, making me feel more confident as time went by. In those last weeks, she was handling all my vendor calls, and wrangled all the final details. And finally day of, she pulled off the best day ever, overseeing every step of the way, and making it so that my husband and I didn't have to worry about a thing!

    Best Money We Spent

    Maryssa was amazing from start to finish! We originally had her photograph our surprise engagement and were so thrilled with her work and energy throughout the day that we knew she had to be a part of our big day! When we discovered she was a planner, and not only an amazing photographer, we were sold. After hiring her, I also discovered her company had planned one of my friend's weddings that I LOVED, so I knew we were in great hands!
    Maryssa was available and responsive, she went above and beyond for us and the tools provided in the package to help us plan were more than worth the value. She was present and collected on our big day and it brought me so much peace as a bride knowing there was someone we could trust in our corner. I am so thankful we made this choice!

    Best Planner in the Bay Area - or just in the game - hands down.

    Where do I even begin to express my gratitude to Maryssa, the owner and lead planner for our wedding, and the incredible team at SOS Events? Our wedding day was, quite literally, the best wedding I’ve ever attended, and it's something I couldn’t have dreamt up even if I tried. From the very outset, SOS proved to be our saving grace, and Maryssa's expertise and dedication were nothing short of extraordinary in turning our vague ideas into a breathtaking reality.

    As someone who had little experience in wedding planning – okay, as someone who had absolutely no idea where to start when it came to wedding planning and only a fuzzy notion of what we wanted, Maryssa's patience, organization, flexibility, and ability to extract the series of adjectives I gave her to work with into something coherent, were a godsend. She listened intently to my scattered ideas, offering invaluable guidance every step of the way. Her genuine enthusiasm and unwavering support helped me navigate what are notoriously stressful moments of the planning process with grace and ease.

    What truly set SOS apart was the sense of trust and openness that Maryssa cultivated. Unlike other planners we considered, Maryssa's approach was refreshingly judgment-free, allowing me to express myself authentically. This was especially crucial as I planned a wedding from afar in Sonoma/Petaluma, my hometown, while living in Wyoming. Maryssa's ability to build trust and confidence from miles away was truly remarkable. An additional point that sets Maryssa and SOS apart is they embrace creativity and don’t have restrictions that would’ve limited us to a list of 3-5 “approved vendors” like other planners in the industry.

    Maryssa's expertise extended far beyond logistics; her meticulous attention to detail and comprehensive contingency plans ensured that we were prepared for any scenario, rain or shine. This level of preparedness allowed us to relax and enjoy our special day without worrying about unexpected challenges.

    Even during a challenging period leading up to the wedding, Maryssa's compassion and professionalism shone through. She met us with empathy and grace, somehow managing to keep us moving forward even in the face of adversity.

    Maryssa’s keen eye for design, fantastic relationships with vendors in the industry, and willingness to offer honest opinions allowed me to trust her implicitly. This level of collaboration is a testament to Maryssa's exceptional skill and the genuine bond she forms with both her clients and fellow industry professionals.

    I've included some examples of the diagrams she created for us and the content she captured, which was so cool to have to look at right away.

    In conclusion, I can't thank Maryssa and the SOS Events team enough for their unwavering support, creativity, and dedication. Our wedding day was a true reflection of our love, thanks to the incredible efforts of Maryssa and the SOS Events team. It felt like Maryssa and her team, as well as the other vendors were just as excited for our wedding as we were, which was a really cool thing to experience. The only regret I had is we opted for just the wedding planning package and had to do the rehearsal dinner/welcome event on our own. Get the full package, including the content. Trust me on this one.

    I wholeheartedly recommend SOS Events to any couple seeking a wedding planning experience that is both seamless and unforgettable, and I would snatch her up as quickly as possible because she should be charging double what she does now, in my opinion.

    World-class person and company, and absolutely worth every penny.

    The best in the biz!!!

    I'm a DJ/event lead with Golden Bell Music and I've had the pleasure of working with Seven Oh Seven on 3 separate weddings! I recently worked with Maryssa, who is the owner and was also the lead planner for the wedding. It was the first wedding of the 2024 season for me and it was a big one. Maryssa was so wonderful to work with. She really helped fill some gaps that would have been more challenging without her help. She's the perfect blend of being super on top of it and also being very relaxed. Always calm, confident and easy. She's a great listener and a great communicator.

    Both of her assistants where wonderful as well. I've worked with Alyssa on 2 other weddings, both of which were smooth and fun. It was my first time meeting Tiffany and she was great too. They were all so helpful and professional.

    As a wedding DJ, I have worked with all different kinds of wedding planners and I can honestly say that I very much look forward to any event I'm teamed up with Seven Oh Seven on. If you're looking for the best, look no further!

    Best wedding vendor

    I would highly recommended using Maryssa for your wedding needs. One of my favorite wedding vendors on our special day! As soon as I first talked to Maryssa on the phone I knew her services would be perfect for our wedding! She is very organized, helpful, detail orientated, easy to communicate with, calm, caring & supportive. Using the Aisle Planner was very easy & help me be organized too. My reception looked better than I ever imagined. Maryssa took pictures & videos to help capture the day that we will cherish forever. The weeks leading up to the wedding I didn’t feel stressed out since I knew & felt confident that Maryssa would be there to help if anything went wrong.     THE best wedding that I could ever asked for!!!!



    Maryssa was the wedding planner for our Oct wedding. Being able to have her as our planner was the best blessing. Maryssa is warm, caring, patient and passionate about what she does. She was consistent with high standard deliverables since the first consultation. I lost many weeks of sleep of deciding on the flowers for the tables and to a point that I wanted to call it off. Maryssa helped me with organizing my thoughts and bringing my vision to life. The table turned out to be so beautiful! Maryssa also has great relationship with many vendors and venues in the area which made my wedding day went smoothly and I didn’t need to worry about one thing. She is very organized, time oriented and especially calm which really helped ease my nerves.

    She is also a GREAT photographer!! Oh let me tell you how much I appreciate the videos and photos that she took for us. Maryssa will be my forever to go event planner and I highly recommend all the brides to give her a try. Trust me, I was VERY selective of my planner and I spoke to a bunch. Maryssa was the best choice out there!!!

    Above & Beyond

    Maryssa was the absolute best person to work with for our wedding and we are so grateful! Before we even picked our venue we knew we wanted to reach out to her to plan our special day. She was easily available to meet with and go over everything prior to putting down our deposit. She's worked with so many different vendors in the area and everyone has nothing but great things to say about her. We had Maryssa take over everything about a month before our wedding day, but she was available by phone and email with every question we had (which was quite a lot!). She made sure that every detail was accounted for, even the ones we didn't think about. The day of the wedding, everything ran so smoothly and she took pictures and videos throughout the day to document the memories, which was such a lovely addition to our pictures from our photographer. At the end of the night, there was a snafu with our transportation and despite multiple calls that Maryssa made, the driver did not answer. Maryssa saved the day and offered herself to drive us down to the Plaza so we could continue our celebrations in true Sonoma fashion. I would highly recommend Maryssa and her team for anyone looking for a planner in the Sonoma area, 12/10 rating!

    Just go with Maryssa

    Maryssa was as good of a wedding planner we could have asked for. Our prior wedding planner bailed on us less than 4 months before our wedding date. Maryssa and SOS came in to save the day! Maryssa came highly recommended by Sonoma based wedding industry vendors. She is detailed oriented, well experienced, a pleasure to work with and will make your wedding day a success, while minimizing the work load on couples. Just go with SOS!

    What an incredible experience to attend a wedding done by Seven Oh Seven Events. The wedding was gorgeously arranged, extremely well managed and perfectly coordinated.     Maryssa Made Our Day Stress Free!

    We are so glad we found Maryssa (highly recommended by a friend) to help plan and manage our big day. We've had a lot of friends complain that their planners were overpriced based on the value they received, but that was far from the case with Maryssa. It was money well-spent and we would do it again in a heartbeat. From the up-front coordination with our vendors to the day-of coordination, she helped make our dream a reality and took a huge load off our shoulders. We were able to enjoy our day without any of the stress, knowing that Maryssa had it under control. Beyond her overall competence/experience, she is a pleasure to work with and be around. It didn't seem like a job to her, she seemed genuinely excited to be a part of our day and invested in its overall success. Another benefit we didn't see coming was the AislePlanner online platform which was really helpful in managing the budget, organizing the timeline and layout. We would highly recommend Maryssa!

    Seven Oh Seven was our single best planning decision!

    Hiring Maryssa as our wedding coordinator was the best decision my husband and I made during our wedding planning process. My husband and I had locked in the venue, photographer and band, and we were looking for someone to help stitch everything together and ensure a flawless execution on the day of. Maryssa and her team more than delivered. They were hands on, thoughtful, mindful of all the details and brought everything to life just the way my husband and I had envisioned. Maryssa is a joy to work with -- she is calm, proactive and a good communicator. When it looked like rain a few days before our wedding, Maryssa worked through various backup options with us and helped put our minds at ease -- we couldn't have navigated our wedding week without her.     Wedding Planner Extraordinaire!

    Maryssa Souza, the founder and lead planner of Seven Oh Seven Events, is phenomenal and her wedding planning skills are unparalleled. She is a gifted wedding planner, has a passion for her work and exceeded our expectations. From her calm demeanor to her detail oriented approach, she is exactly what is needed for a seamless and well executed wedding. She is knowledgeable, accessible, organized, upbeat and energetic to name just a few of her many positive attributes. While hired as the "day of" planner for my son's wedding, she was responsive and available to answer our questions every step of the way. She was flexible as plans changed and proactive when needed. Maryssa's organizational skills are exceptional and the Aisle Planner platform she utilizes is very useful and detail oriented.
    Maryssa coordinated the flow of the wedding from early planning to the rehearsal and the wedding day seamlessly. On the day of, she brought the vision of the wedding to life even better than the bride and groom envisioned it. She and her team set up extensive decor, she coordinated the vendors, welcomed guests and handled every ceremony and reception detail so our families could be fully present and focused on the bride and groom, our guests and the memorable day. We truly don't know how she managed so many details and moving pieces while also seemingly right there whenever we needed anything. She gathered and boxed all of our items after the reception and even found time to "refresh" the bride and groom's suite for them which was used as the getting ready room for all of the ladies in the bridal party.
    Imagine our delight the day after the wedding when we received what seemed like professional photos and videos Maryssa captured throughout the wedding day, ceremony and reception. They were such a special gift given most of the professional photos and videos won’t be available to us for 8-10 weeks. How she had time for this with all of her other responsibilities is a complete mystery.
    From start to finish, Maryssa was exceptional. We know she has many other clients, but she always made my son and his wife’s wedding feel like a top priority. The wedding was perfect and working with her was an absolute joy. We highly recommend Seven Oh Seven Events and will be forever grateful to Maryssa.

    Maryssa and her team went above and beyond for our wedding. Her communication prior to the wedding was amazing. On the wedding day, when the weather did not go as planned, she was able to adapt and already had plans in place. Everything was beautiful and well done!

    Maryssa is everything. She took my call while she was on vacation with her husband in Hawaii!     Short notice life-saver, and great work

    Alyssa from seven oh seven events stepped in for us in a huge way when we had to part ways with our initial planner on short notice. She took over with about 45 days to go for our winery wedding at a "blank slate" winery venue with a lot of moving parts. They were also flexible to customize services within our budget given the unorthodox nature of the timeline and situation which really put our mind at ease.

    She did an amazing job and our special day was a dream. And she is a lovely human being as well. Would choose them again and highly recommend.

    Hiring Seven Oh Seven Events for our wedding planning services was THE BEST investment we made for our wedding! I would 100% do it over and over again! My husband and I got engaged back in 2018 and we were planning a fall 2021 wedding. And then as everyone knows COVID struck and we had to postpone our wedding. However, Maryssa was amazing throughout the entire process. We signed a contract with her back in May of 2020 and didn’t have our wedding until October of 2022. Despite the setback and two years of waiting for our wedding to finally arrive she was there to support us through it all. She made herself available for any questions I had throughout the process. She was incredibly patent and flexible with me as I navigated the crazy wedding scene. During our wedding day, along with the help of her team, she executed my vision to perfection. I was completely at ease knowing that she was there planning and carrying out my dream wedding that was 4 years in the making. I had prepared myself weeks in advance anticipating that things may go wrong on the day of, as everyone had warned me about, but there were absolutely no issues or concerns that arose during our wedding day. I absolutely attribute all of that success to Maryssa and her team. My husband and I were able to enjoy every moment of our wedding day without any problems, our perfect dream wedding came to life without lifting a finger, and we had the best day of our lives.

    I love Maryssa and her ability to stay organized, collaborate, and be creative! As her client we were able to use Aisle Planner to keep track and communicate every detail of our wedding vision. This was such an awesome tool to use as a type a person. I was able to clearly and effectively explain my vision for our wedding. She was also very helpful when problems came up during the planning process. Her expertise and wedding planning experience goes above and beyond! She even took it upon herself to transform a part of our sweetheart table on the day of our wedding with my left over decor items that made the space even more beautiful than I could have imagined. She was punctual, thoughtful, and detailed. My favorite part of working with Maryssa and Seven Of Seven Events was watching back the videos and photos that she had captured on her social media. I loved seeing all the detail and behind the scene content that she caught on camera. It was like reliving our wedding day over again.

    Honestly, everything was better than we could have dreamed it would be! I cannot thank Maryssa enough for her part in making our day so special. We adore Seven Oh Seven Events!!!

    Maryssa is the best!

    Planning a wedding is stressful! But planning a wedding during Covid is beyond stressful! My husband and I have had the pleasure of working with Maryssa for the past two years. I didn’t know it then, but hiring Maryssa back in 2020 was the best thing that I could have done. Over the past two years my husband and I have had two postponed weddings, an elopement, a baby and finally our “actual”wedding in August 2022 and Maryssa supported us through it all! Maryssa helped us plan both our elopement and our wedding. She was extremely responsive and helpful months leading up to the wedding. On the day of the wedding I honestly did not have to worry at all. Maryssa was on top of everything. She even brought me a drink and made sure that I had time to eat and enjoy my wedding, as it should be! Honestly, can’t recommend her enough!!!

    Absolutely Amazing!

    Maryssa is the absolute best! I truly mean this when I say our wedding would not have gone off as flawlessly as it did without her. Her attention to detail is above and beyond and her communication is unmatched. As a type A bride I was worried about every little detail when it came to our wedding but with Maryssa as our coordinator, I truly felt at ease. She calmed all my nerves and answered my never ending questions so quickly. But above all else, she made my vision a reality and for that I am forever grateful. She never told me no, or that I was being too over the top when I thought for sure I was. She pumped us up and kept us excited even when planning got to a stressful point. I can't even count how many times I heard from family members, our bridal party and even guests "you have the sweetest wedding planner ever". And it's true. But not only is she the sweetest ever, she's truly amazing at what she does. The day was beautiful, organized, on time, and a blast! As a side note, my dress strap broke during our first dance and I didn't even have to worry because Maryssa was standing by with her emergency wedding kit and had me all fixed up before the father daughter dance even began. We cannot thank Seven Oh Seven and Maryssa enough for everything! Hands down the best decision we made when it came to planning our wedding. THANK YOU!

    Absolute Perfection!!

    Maryssa and her team are beyond incredible!! I feel so grateful that I found Maryssa and her team in 2021 to help with my 2022 wedding. Throughout the process, Maryssa was SO helpful and always provided her expert feedback to ensure my vision came to life (she also let me freak out a few times and told me it was normal :) ). I will never forget walking up the stairs at Sonoma Golf Club an hour before our first look and I felt this sense of calm rush over me .. because Maryssa had it all covered. We pulled off a hell of a black tie wedding, nothing was too overdone and my husband and I as well as the guests never felt rushed throughout the day.     The best decision I made in wedding planning

    I really can’t say enough good things about Maryssa and her team. My husband and I initially booked Seven Oh Seven events back in 2019 for our June 2020 wedding. Working with Maryssa was a dream from the beginning, she helped us find some of the most amazing vendors and had everything so well organized, I couldn’t have asked for more. Well, fast forward to the beginning of 2020, with all of the uncertainty around Covid, we made the tough decision to postpone, and Maryssa took on the huge task of helping us get in touch with every vendor we had booked, make all the changes, update all the contracts. It was a really hard time for us but she made it so much easier. Fast forward to 2021, restrictions in Sonoma county hadn’t change much, and we were faced with the tough decision to postpone… again… and just like before, Maryssa got it handled so seamlessly. We managed to rebook every single vendor from our original date with her help. Finally 2022 rolls around we we ACTUALLY GOT MARRIED. We had the most incredible day, it was everything we had hoped for and planned for over the past 3 years. Maryssa and Alyssa really took the reigns on the day of and everything went off without a hitch. I was able to enjoy my day with all my loved ones with zero stress because I had full trust in these beautiful ladies and they did not disappoint. I wouldn’t have wanted to have anyone else on our team through all the ups and downs of planning our wedding. Not only do I feel like we got more than we expected from a wedding planner, but I also feel like we gained a friend in the process. The only thing I’m sad about is that my day has come and gone and I don’t get to email Maryssa and much as I used to with all my questions and ideas haha. 10000/10 recommend booking Seven Oh Seven Events, it might be the best decision you make in the whole process of planning 🤍

    Fantastic Experience

    Maryssa and her team at Seven Oh Seven Events are fantastic! I selected the Standard (“Month Of”) Package for my daughter’s August 2022 wedding. I wanted to plan her wedding, but knew I needed some help and definitely wanted someone else to manage the wedding day. The Seven Oh Seven package was perfect. From the moment I hired Maryssa she was available to answer any questions (and I asked a lot), gave me access to her useful online tools, and offered me her list of preferred vendors. We ended up, in fact, choosing a florist and photographer from her list — both were excellent.

    Maryssa’s expert advice and support along the way were invaluable. She was always very organized, knowledgeable, and kind. This was critical when we found out my husband, and father of the bride, tested positive for COVID one week before the wedding. Maryssa calmly helped us manage all the last minute changes and communicated with the venue so I could focus on other things. Seven Oh Seven did a beautiful job setting up everything before the ceremony and stayed the entire night to guarantee the evening ran smoothly. Her team even collected all of our rentals and personal items at the end of the reception, which allowed me to just enjoy the night.

    We were absolutely thrilled with Maryssa and I highly recommend her and Seven Oh Seven Events!

    Maryssa was an absolute DREAM to work with! We are so thankful!

    Our wedding planning process and wedding day couldn't be more enjoyable, stress free and smooth thanks to Maryssa. From the day that we decided to work with her, Maryssa kept in close contact with us and answered all of our random questions that would pop up as we started planning. We live in Nevada, so as a destination bride in Napa there were so many extra details that had to be figured out from afar and Maryssa made the process so easy and seamless.

    Maryssa gave us incredible advice and organized our entire day, from checklists to templates for speeches, to building our timeline, coordinating with vendors, you name it. She was with us every single step of the way and on our wedding day everything was absolutely perfect. We are SO THANKFUL to have met Maryssa and to have worked with her as our wedding planner.

    Where do I even begin?! Hiring Maryssa and Seven Oh Seven Events was one of the best decisions we could've made during our wedding planning.     The absolute best experience!

    The team at Seven Oh Seven Events are amazing! We chose the month of/day of package as we didn’t need as much help choosing vendors and signing contracts but wanted to be sure we had support as the day grew closer and finalizing all the details, and of course to ensure the actual wedding day ran smoothly. Maryssa and her team were attentive, supportive and great with communication (a huge priority of ours). She helped out with vendor recommendations prior to the start of our official “package”. We were a couple that had to postpone due to COVID restrictions and Maryssa was super supportive in getting those details figured out for us, which was a bonus as this was not part of the package we purchased with them. Leading up to the event I felt really great knowing I could bounce ideas off of them and ask questions without feeling like it was ever too much. The rehearsal was a blast and Maryssa made sure that everyone key to the event knew what needed to happen and when. Their team even wears special name tags so if anyone needed anything at the wedding they knew who to look for to ask.

    On the wedding day, I knew I didn’t have to worry about anything. They choreographed all the other vendors beautiful to ensure the layout and setup was exactly what we had decided in prior. It was such a treat knowing we didn’t have to do anything before, during or after the wedding related to setup or breakdown. During our reception, we had a few hiccups and Maryssa and her team jumped in and went absolutely above and beyond to make sure our guests had no idea and that we all still had a great time! I truly cannot thank them enough for their support and integrity for our special day. We truly had the best day ever and so much of that credit goes to Maryssa, Alyssa and the fabulous team at Seven Oh Seven Events. We could not have done it without them!

    Simply Amazing

    My husband and I hired Maryssa and her team for our wedding this last October. Off the bat, she was professional, respectful and most importantly knew what she was talking about. She allowed us to bounce ideas off of her and her feedback was honest and on point. She knew what questions to ask the vendors as we toured our venue that we didn’t think about.

    The week leading up to the wedding and the day of, she kept everything moving and ensured we were following the necessary time line. She and her team checked-in with the other vendors throughout the day of and ensured they had what they needed. When issues arose, Maryssa and her team stepped right in and took care of it…and likely took care of a lot of things that we weren’t even aware of. She was on point constantly in the most calm and present way!

She responds very quickly and always has many ideas and advice up her sleeve. She helped us tremendously in putting together a beautiful design for our wedding decoration. She helped us pick out all the linens, chairs and furniture, and she decorated the dining tables with gorgeous candles. Without her, anything we'd come up with would be subpar. We absolutely loved her creative vision and she was on point in her execution. Everything turned out so beautiful and we could not be more grateful for Maryssa's helpful. She was also very supportive during the pandemic and all the craziness with postponements and coordination with vendors. We are glad everything finally worked out and we would not have had such a beautiful wedding without Maryssa's help and advice every step of the way.

    Your biggest cheerleaders on your wedding day

    Maryssa and her team at Save the Date are INCREDIBLE. As a wedding planner in another state, I know the importance of having a team you can trust when you are planning and executing your wedding. We worked with Maryssa during the planning process, and Bri was also there to support us on our wedding day. Maryssa met and exceeded all of our expectations. She was prompt in answering our emails and never missed a detail when we asked her questions. I loved using the portal through Aisle Planner to keep our wedding details in one place. On the day of the wedding, Maryssa was our biggest advocate. Overbearing guests? Maryssa handled them with grace. Small bridal breakdown where I cried because of an error in my bouquet? Maryssa immediately fixed the issue with the florist (and made me feel like I was not overreacting). Keeping vendors, guests, wedding party, and my husband and I calm and relaxed on the wedding day?     Helped with everything

    Having a coordinator really does help alleviate all the wedding stress that you don’t know is coming. While I had hired her to do month of, she also helped me in 2020 when I had to postpone due to Covid. Maryssa also has great vision and made recommendations for the day that we wouldn’t have thought of.

    Everything went wrong... until Maryssa Saved the Date

    At the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, everything that could go wrong with our wedding, did. Our venue cancelled on us, caterer bailed, natural disasters, and an injury from the groom made getting to the alter a big question mark, but Maryssa was a constant in a time of chaos and constant changes. DO NOT miss the opportunity to work with her. Our wedding, after so many mishaps, went on without a hitch. Highly recommend this gem.

    The planner/coordinator of your dreams!

    Maryssa & team were the key to an amazing wedding for us in Sonoma in August 2021! As our planner/day-of-coordinator, Maryssa was our go-to support for every detail, large and small. She helped us plan, and re-plan, our wedding during the pandemic, providing updated state guidance and keeping us calm at every step. She provided recommended vendors and decor ideas, kept very organized task lists, proactively managed all communications with us, and even helped manage vendor relationships given her great local relationships! Once we told vendors we were working with her, their immediate reply was: "Oh Maryssa is the best - you got so lucky!" On the day of our wedding, she made everything feel like a breeze, from helping me get dressed, to giving my husband and me champagne right after to our ceremony, to helping move around some timelines to best capture sunset photos. Not to mention, she did all of this on her actual birthday! Maryssa truly cares about her clients and was a great partner, and friend, for us through all of the ups and downs of wedding planning.     Maryssa and her team were a joy to work with on our wedding day! Maryssa was great at coordinating with other vendors and making sure everything was perfect on our wedding day.     Can't recommend Save the Date and Maryssa enough!

    Maryssa and her team are the absolute best - I would 100% recommend her to anyone planning a wedding or any other event. Maryssa was the planner for my wedding at Olympia's Valley Estate in Petaluma, July 2021. She exceeded all my expectations and went above and beyond to ensure that the day went flawlessly and was exactly what I had dreamed of.

    Communication: Maryssa is one of the most transparent, thoughtful, responsive people I've worked with. Any time I had any questions - from small to big - she responded incredibly quickly and with a ton of information. As someone who has never done this before and was overwhelmed by the amount of information and options, I really appreciated how communicative and responsive she was to everything I've ever asked. As others have mentioned, oftentimes she already had taken care of / thought of the things I was asking already!

    Vendor Management: Maryssa managed every.single.one. of our vendors to the minute detail. From ensuring that she had the contact information, contracts, etc. of everyone we planned to work with, she coordinated directly with them to ensure that everyone knew where and when they had to be the day of.

    Attention to Detail: Maryssa's attention to detail is incredible. From sending us reminders of things we had to do a few months out to a month out, to coordinating the weekend schedule down to the minute (our family members even commented at our detailed our schedule was!) As someone who is also super detail oriented, I really appreciated this about her. On the day of the wedding, she noticed that some farm tables did not match and contacted me immediately with a few options of how to proceed - it was so detailed that I wasn't even stressed that this was happening the day-of!

    Day-Of Coordination: WOW. just wow - Maryssa executed our wedding absolutely flawlessly. She coordinated everything with the vendors, personal items, reception, decor, including moving our floral arch/cocktail furniture to the reception area for dinner. She was always on hand to help with absolutely anything I needed - from helping me find a toothpick, mints, working with our photographer to move our first dance and photos around to accommodate the better light, to helping me pick out grass from my wedding dress from photos - I can honestly say that Maryssa made our wedding everything we ever wanted it to be. She even helped pack up all our drinks, personal items, decor into our car the night of so that the next morning we had everything ready to go.

    Lastly, on top of everything I already mentioned, Maryssa helped us navigate our wedding through COVID-19. We originally had our date scheduled for 2020, and she worked with us to not only move to a new date, but coordinate with our vendors to ensure they were also free, share information about the latest regulations and how things were progressing. She was always on top of everything, staying calm and helpful throughout the entire process.

    Maryssa was amazing!

    Maryssa and the Save the Date team are incredible! I cannot recommend them highly enough!

    Maryssa was the planner for our wedding at Gundlach Bundschu winery in Sonoma, which was originally scheduled for October 2020 but postponed to spring 2021 due to COVID.

    Maryssa made planning a wedding amidst a constantly changing pandemic situation seem easy. She was extremely knowledgeable about the latest regulations, calm, and flexible throughout. She truly went above and beyond to make sure we got the wedding we’d imagined despite the pandemic, putting in tons of extra time to coordinate with us and our vendors to adapt our plans multiple times as regulations changed.

    Pandemic aside, Maryssa exceeded all my expectations of a wedding planner:
    -She has amazing relationships with other vendors in the industry, and every other vendor she recommended to us was excellent. Our florist, photographer, hair stylist, and caterer were all her recommendations and all fantastic!
    -She worked with us every step of the way to coordinate with our venue and various vendors to ensure we had everything we wanted and didn’t miss any logistics
    -She was incredibly responsive over email, phone, and text and always answered all of my questions with thoughtful and knowledgeable answers. More often than not, she had already taken care of everything I had questions about!
    -In the last few weeks before the wedding, she handled all of the final logistics and coordination. I wasn’t stressed at all knowing that she was on top of all of the details, and trusted her completely to handle everything.
    -On the day of the wedding, she and her team executed everything perfectly! They handled all of the setup with our vendors, set out our place settings, seating arrangements, and decorations, and made everything look beautiful (despite some very gusty winds)! Throughout the event, they kept everything running smoothly and on time, assisted guests who had questions, and ensured that my husband and I could just focus on enjoying the day.

    We are so grateful to Maryssa & team and would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone planning a wedding!

    Forever thankful for this team

    Maryssa and her team are absolute angels!
    I first found Maryssa in the early Spring of 2019 when I had just started to plan our wedding and I was feeling a little lost with the process. I knew that hiring a planner would give me some peace of mind, but looking back, I know it was the best decision I could have made in regards to planning our wedding. My fiance and I were planning to get married June of 2020, and during the planning process, Maryssa and her team went above and beyond in every way. They are so organized and patient and they truly care about your needs and concerns. I'm a hyper-organized bride and I struggle with managing my stress, and Maryssa and her team were constantly putting me at ease. They always answered my questions and requests with kindness and grace.
    When the pandemic hit, I was distraught. We were less than 100 days away from our wedding and the unimaginable had happened. Maryssa and her team guided me through the decision-making process and helped tremendously (both emotionally and practically) with postponing not one, but TWO weddings!
    Suffice to say, Maryssa has helped me tirelessly over the last year and a half, and I can't begin to express how thankful I am to have her. I can't recommend her enough for any couple planning a wedding! She makes the whole process a breeze. Do yourself a favor and hire Save the Date!

    Save The Date save the day!

    Maryssa and her team at Save The Date were absolutely wonderful. Maryssa is friendly, calm, organized, and (most importantly for me as the bride) was a very calming presence on our big day (and leading up to it). We hired Maryssa and her team as day of coordinators and this was perfect for us, as she was available for phone calls and emails leading up to our wedding weekend and then took care of everything coordinating-wise on the wedding day. Maryssa coordinated with all our vendors the week before the wedding which took stress off of me. She also did a few site visits with us beforehand to make sure we had everything in place at the venue. She was instrumental to our rehearsal and even went the extra mile to help us with some set up the day before the wedding, which she didn't need to do. We are so grateful for her and the Save the Date team, who helped us make our dream wedding day vision come true! Hire them, you will not regret it I promise!

    Maryssa & her team is amazing

    This review is long overdue. My husband and I got married in the last July and we hired Maryssa as our wedding planner. She was on the referral list of both my venue and my photographer (who has really high standard), and there isn't a single moment that we regret our choice. Maryssa is highly organized, responsive, and have great attention to details. We met a couple times in person to go through my wedding details and venue layout, she's very professional and well prepared so the whole process was very smooth. She also gave us decorative advice which fits my taste very well too. In addition to our in person meeting, we had a lot of communication through email, and she replies in a timely manner and answers my question right to the point. On our wedding day, she arrived on time to collect our decorative items / wedding favors etc, and she and her team worked like a ghost - you won't see them a lot but everything is set up beautifully. She also contacted all of my vendors ahead of time and worked with them closely on our big day. At the end of the wedding she collected all our belongs and sent them back to our room.

    Maryssa help us to have our perfect dream wedding. I know a lot of people say there will always be crisis at weddings and it will never turn out to be the exact way you want, but mine was, thanks to Maryssa's help. I would highly recommend her to everyone. If you're the type that takes review number as a evaluating factors, just know Maryssa just started her own business (hence the number isn't as high as the business that has been running for years) and she is in fact a very experienced and professional wedding planner. Hiring Maryssa was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding, and thank you Maryssa and your team for your wonderful work :)

    Best Decision Ever

    Maryssa was a recommendation from a mutual friend and I couldn't be happier. We had our wedding ceremony on the beach and the reception at another location, so the logistics were my main concern. Maryssa was super detail oriented and worked with our vendors to make sure everyone was on the same page. Unfortunately our wedding was the weekend of one of the power outages and evacuations in Sonoma County, which led to our caterers not being able to serve dinner. Maryssa and her team stepped up and took their place! I was so happy and super impressed by their willingness and professionalism throughout. Not only were they able to help with food service, but they still kept the rest of the show going. Although our wedding didn't exactly turn out as we had planned, it turned out far better than we could have ever expected thanks to Save the Date! Highly recommend!

    Highly recommend Maryssa!

    We loved working with Maryssa for our wedding! Maryssa helped us with the planning and execution of our wedding from start to finish. We had a destination wedding in Sonoma and primarily worked remotely with Maryssa first from London and then from New York. Throughout the planning process, we primarily corresponded via email due to the different time zones and locations, and Maryssa was very responsive to all of our messages.

    When we were deciding on vendors, Maryssa would typically send us around 3 options to choose from. I really appreciated working this way as I am the type of person who needs limited options. It is clear that she has strong relationships with many vendors in the area, and we were really happy with her recommendations.

    We visited Sonoma a few times throughout the planning process and each time we came to visit, Maryssa had our full itinerary planned and all vendor meetings booked for us in advance. She also attended nearly every vendor meeting with us, which was greatly appreciated as we weren’t always sure of all the questions to ask.

    On the day of the wedding, Maryssa and her team coordinated absolutely everything, and the day went off without a hitch. All we had to do was relax and enjoy our wedding day! It is clear that they were very well organized, detail-oriented and professional, while still being laid back and friendly. Multiple vendors told us how much they love working with Maryssa!

    Maryssa went above and beyond in many ways, including holding additional meetings as needed with our vendors and offering to let us ship things to her in advance that we needed for the wedding.

    As I told Maryssa, we would have been lost without her throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend Maryssa and her team to help plan your wedding or any other event!

    Maryssa is amazing!

    From the beginning, Maryssa made us feel we could accomplish all of our wacky and non-traditional ideas. We wanted to have a 90-person wedding in our neighbor’s oddly shaped garden and then parade down to our backyard for the reception. We wanted a brass band to march us. We wanted the caterers to cook in our home kitchen. And we wanted to pull it all off in about four months. She was unflappably positive and enthusiastic, but also extremely calm and kind and also ON IT. Maryssa was incredibly organized throughout the whole process. She was quick to respond to emails and thoroughly addressed our every question and concern. We felt very cared for. Everything Maryssa touched, turned into zero stress for us.

    Additionally, Maryssa had amazing recommendations for vendors and was able to get us good deals due to her good relationships. Particularly for flowers (Janelle with Green Petal Designs) and music (Hella Fitzgerald: guitar & vocals for ceremony, brass band for march to reception, and DJ for dancing). Both of the vendors were very high quality and supportive regarding our visions and our last minute planning (we had A LOT of ideas and feedback that we gave them, but they really made it even better than we could have imagined--for this, I attribute particular thanks to Maryssa who pulled all the pieces together).

    We had some issues with our caterers (who we found on our own, they were not a rec from her). There were some things that they really should have taken care of, but when they didn’t, Maryssa rose to the challenge in every way and made sure nothing was lacking, even though it wasn’t in her purview.

    On a logistical note, we did a tier 2 package and found the price very reasonable.

    We could not recommend Maryssa more highly!

    Best Wedding Planner

    I have planned and been in a lot of weddings so for our wedding we knew we needed at least a partial wedding planner! Marysaa was the perfect fit! From invitations to recommends to contracts to execution! We have a family emergency two days before my wedding which cause the entire wedding to be re worked and with Maryssa in charge you would never know it had changed! I never stressed about a single thing on my day because I knew she understood everything we wanted!

    Easygoing, Reliable, Responsive, and Knowledgeable

    Maryssa is an amazing wedding planner whom I highly recommend! From the beginning of our planning process until our actual wedding, Maryssa was always responsive and super helpful as we navigated through the craziness of wedding planning.     Maryssa was fabulous!

    This is super overdue, but I worked with Maryssa for my wedding when she was at Hannah Smith Events and she was one of my favorite parts of our event. It's exciting that she's starting her own business! I want to share what I wrote about Maryssa for HSE:

    I was so lucky to have found Maryssa! My venue required a day-of coordinator, and being an out of town bride (Seattle, getting married in Santa Rosa), I knew I needed someone on the ground to help day of. Maryssa was great from day 1 over the phone. She is detail-oriented and organized, something that I so, so appreciated. I booked her for their standard package, which is basically day-of coordinator at most other places, but with her can start 1-2mon before the event! Such a great deal, and at a very reasonable price! Whenever I emailed Maryssa, she replied right away, and she remembered all of our correspondence to put together a master timeline for me - I think even before that 1-2mon mark! I felt that Maryssa was my secret weapon. When I had difficulty communicating with a few vendors via email, since I was in my last month before the big day, I just turned that communication over to Maryssa and she let me know that everything was worked out. So easy! I also had a lot of details I wanted done for my wedding for setup on the day of. I collected and/or made all of the decor, packed it in several suitcases, and explained what I wanted for set up to Maryssa and she worked her magic. Everything was beautiful! No one in my wedding party or family was able to get to the venue until it was showtime, but Maryssa had everything under control. After the wedding, she also packed everything up for me so that it was ready to go at the end of the event. I really enjoyed working with Maryssa and felt as if she were a friend/companion/advocate for me through this whole wedding journey. She will always get to yes! Maryssa is competent, knowledgeable, diplomatic, has a great eye for decor, and I would recommend her 100%.”

    Effortless & Reliable Planner!

    Maryssa and her team did amazing! She was always quick to respond to my texts, calls, and emails and guided me when needed. My favorite part of working with her was the day of! She was cool, calm, collected, and so organized (she even took our presents and cards back to our room for us while we were enjoying the reception) Definitely would recommend!

    Maryssa goes above and beyond

    We'd hired Maryssa for day-of coordination for our smallish Napa wedding (~70 people) at the end of March, and we wouldn't have enjoyed our day without her! The wedding went smoothly and we got to focus on entertaining our guests, because Maryssa coordinated and handled our problems invisibly in the background. Even our vendors consistently complimented on what a pleasure it was working with her!

    Highlights:
    - Always a step ahead of us in communicating with vendors during the planning
    - Came super well prepared (even kept a steamer in her car just in case), and even received a few of our DIY items days before
    - She brought a lovely assistant the day of
    - Unlimited consultation emails
    - Voluntarily joined us during a menu tasting and independently visited the venue without us
    - Kept cool while ironing out day-of issues (I'm sure more than I know of) with our vendors and the venue who were...not always on the same page

    Need a Wedding Planner? Look No Further!

    We could not have asked for a more capable, calm, and knowledgable coordinator for our wedding than Maryssa. From the beginning our wedding planning process, she helped us identify the right venue and vendors for our ceremony and reception, and made herself available at all hours of the day to help with our needs.

    Maryssa helped us with every step of our wedding planning, but we didn't realize how dependent on her we had become until the actual wedding weekend. Maryssa was a calm ship in the eye of the storm, and had all the trains running on time without us having to check in about anything. We can't express enough how nice it was to look up in the middle of the craziness and see Maryssa working with vendors, family members, guests, and others to make sure that the weekend went off without a hitch.

    If you're looking for a wedding coordinator, Maryssa is one of the absolute best out there!

    Maryssa was absolutely amazing in helping my wife and I plan our wedding day. We thought we were doing well by planning in advance and Maryssa made sure we stayed on top of everything. We would highly recommend her to help you plan your big wedding day as well. She is absolutely amazing!

    Maryssa is amazing!

    Where do I begin with Maryssa, there are too many good things to talk about! Maryssa was one of the first people we hired for our 08/18/18 wedding in Healdsburg, CA at a private estate. Maryssa was super responsive from beginning to end and went above and beyond to help us with every single question we had for her (and believe me, I had a lot - paragraph upon paragraph long emails lol). Communication was super quick and helpful, every single time. We initially hired Maryssa for the Standard Package but after an extremely busy season with my job, I was overstressed and needed to up the help I needed from Maryssa. Maryssa was super accommodating and helped work out a reasonable fee in addition to the package we had already signed on for. Our first venue meeting was easy and felt like we had it all figured out (even though there was still lots to do) Maryssa was super composed and took notes the whole time. Shortly after, I received an e-mail with all her notes and the next steps I needed to take on the planning journey and recommendations for things I had asked for. It was nice meeting with Maryssa at the venue and being able to discuss my vision and at no point did she try to pressure me in any which way, just gave me helpful advice when needed. She really works with you to make your wedding come to life. Maryssa was so on top of emails and contacting other vendors leading up to the wedding day, it gave us some time to focus on all the little details we had left to do. It was nice not to have to try and figure out all the schematics and check all the lists a million more times. Day of wedding...my husband and I are still talking about how perfectly smooth our wedding day ran if there was a hiccup we sure didn't know about it! And that's one of the main reasons for hiring a coordinator but, I doubt everyone is as blessed with a Maryssa on their side.

    I was the wedding photographer for a wedding on 6/21/2014 planned and coordinated by Maryssa. She was very responsive before and during the wedding, and was very organized and detailed in her planning, preparation and coordination of the wedding day. Maryssa was always very friendly and was pleasure to work with! I definitely recommend her as someone who has seen her working hard behind the scenes!

    Maryssa is a god send. Truly. I am a very laid back person and without her on my wedding day, it would've been so disorganized. She is so professional and a true gem to work with. She is extremely organized- sending worksheets ahead of time to make sure your special day is just how you want it, and it was. She goes out of her way to make sure your day is everything you dreamed of. Do yourself a favor and hire her for your wedding! I'm so glad we did!

    Maryssa was absolutely fantastic as a planner for my daughter's wedding this past weekend!! She is punctual, thorough, has extreme attention to detail and is such a sweetheart!! She checked in with all of our vendors and made sure they were all on time. She was at our rehearsal and the dinner that followed and it ran very smoothly. On the day of the wedding she did a beautiful job of orchestrating all of the help and making sure all the set up was perfect down to the smallest detail. The venue looked gorgeous!! She never even came in to ask a single question, which meant the world to me. I was able to focus on my daughter and nothing else and that is priceless! I HIGHLY recommend Maryssa for any and all events big or small! She is amazing!!

    Stress free wedding day thanks to SOS!

    Maryssa was great to work with! Throughout our wedding planning process, she was readily available to answer questions, give advice, and reassure us on decisions. The day of our wedding, I had zero stress or worry which is unusual for a high-stress perfectionist like me, but Maryssa had everything under control! The afternoon and evening went perfectly, and we didn't have to think about a single thing when it came to planning or set up which allowed us to be present and enjoy our day to the fullest!

    My wedding was one of the first events that Love Story Creations helped put on. Maryssa was great at sitting down with me and helping me outline my ideas, as well as providing me with ideas and advice. She was great at communicating with me prior to the event and making sure she was present for meeting with all the vendors. I think there are some matters that should be improved on in addition to everything. On the day of the event there were a few decorations that got lost and placed wrong. One of the stations was not covered to help the guests. Maryssa is a very polite and sweet spirited person but being assertive goes a long way and is extremely important and that needs to be improved. I think that overall the event went well with a few mistakes, and she has a bright future ahead with her new business.
