DJ Cubbie is amazing!
As the mother of the bride, I couldn’t have been more impressed with DJ Cubbie. He went above and beyond in every possible way. Not only did he keep the dance floor full all night, but he also showed incredible care and attention to detail. He communicated with me throughout the evening to make sure everything went smoothly, and he was so considerate of the entire bridal party.
When it started to rain, he made sure the bride had an umbrella and even helped the bridal party get safely into the venue. He also noticed the walkway was blocked and took it upon himself to have the vehicle moved so guests could enter easily.
DJ Cubbie wasn’t just an amazing DJ—he was a true professional who cared about making the night perfect. I can’t recommend him highly enough!

Cubbie was the absolute best DJ could have asked for our wedding. We had a long time video for dancing (4 hours) and he kept the dance floor full that WHOLE TIME! He was incredible at reading the room and keeping it lively. Not only did he keep the dance floor full but he was incredibly attentive and communicative. He helped us with the flow of the reception and we couldn’t have done it without him. 1000% recommend hiring Cubbie because you won’t regret it. We are SO thankful we did!!!

Best Decision for my My Wedding I made
DJ Cubbie brought the life to our party! From the get-go, he was very knowledgeable in his role and the overall process of how a wedding reception should go. When planning a wedding, there are a million different moving parts, so it was great to know that Cubbie knew his stuff and it brought us comfort right away! Throughout the night, he made things go very smooth, he dismissed our tables and was always so discreet when it came to communicating the little important details to us as the couple. We had a 270 person wedding, so there was a lot of manage there already! He also communicated so well with our day-of coordinator and them as a team made things go very smoothly! Another thing I didn't have to worry about as a bride. We got many compliments about how fun our wedding was, and our dance floor was PACKED up until the night ended, I think that itself it a true testament to how good your DJ is! He took great care of us as the bride and groom of the night, but also our parents. Right away he went and got my mom a drink before cocktail hour event started, how sweet is that! If you are looking for a DJ, Cubbie will take great care of you and his professionalism and knowledge is worth it!

Hageman Wedding Review
Bailey was our DJ for our wedding this weekend and if I had to do it again, I would hire her in an instant. She knew exactly what we wanted for our music and she was extremely flexible and responsive and so fun and easy to work with. My husband and I used DJ Cubbie for our DJ at our wedding reception! From the initial consultation, we knew we made an awesome choice! He made the wedding planning process go so smoothly! An added bonus is that he sent monthly checklists to ensure you’re on target with your planning! We even sent him some last minute changes that he was able to accommodate including one while we were on the bus to our reception. Our dance floor was booming all night long. Bailey gets all the stars
There is a reason Bailey only has 5-star reviews. She is AMAZING. Select Entertainment has created a great process to get to know what couples are looking for in a DJ, and then they go above and beyond that. Bailey was super fun, friendly, and was a great presence on the mic. Not only was the music selection spot on the entire night, the sound at the outdoor ceremony was flawless and the music was clear. She made good and timely announcements without being asked, our guests loved her. We had a bad dancing competition and her MC-ing of that was phenomenal. She also went out of her way to check in on me (the bride) throughout the day, even making sure I didn’t have to carry my own plate to our head table. The best dance party?
Our experience with the team at Select Entertainment was phenomenal. When you work with them, know you are good hands. They are passionate about their customers and their craft. We initially worked with Cubbie leading up to our reception, but he suddenly got ill 2 days prior to the event. Before we even knew he couldn't play our reception anymore, he already had his colleague Seth lined up to step in.
We've been to *many* weddings, but Seth hosted the best dance floor we and many of guests have ever experienced! I cannot recommend this team enough if you are seeking a DJ or emcee for your event. Our only regret is that we had one reception to throw, so we can't invite Cubbie back for an encore performance.

For our wedding, we really wanted to have a celebration and knew that the DJ was an important part!! Cubbie was wonderful to work with in the planning process. He answered all of our questions, and gave us tips and tricks when planning. The day of our wedding, he took control of the reception, in the very best way possible. From directing buzzed groomsmen where to stand, to helping direct people through the dinner line, he did it all. He went above and beyond what a typical DJ would do. He refilled our drinks, he checked in on us through the night, etc. He made the dance floor lively, and he played a couple games with the guests. Since our wedding, people have told us that Cubbie was awesome and made it so fun for everyone. Guests don’t always remember details about your wedding… but they will remember the fun night they had, thanks to Cubbie.

Andy was truly amazing! The music for the ceremony was perfect and exactly what we wanted. For the reception he kept the party going all night long. We did end up having a medical emergency part way through the reception. He did a great job of being respectful towards the incident but was able to get the party started again. He goes above and beyond what any DJ would do. He carried my (brides) plate after the buffet and delivered me drinks. He dismissed tables for the buffet and even held guests' babies so they could get food!! We got so many comments from guests saying how great he was. Again he went above and beyond and exceeded all my expectations!

The Best Team Ever!
Bailey was the best! We booked her for our wedding of just under 100 people and she did a phenomenal job. She made the day flow smoothly, ensured everything moved along, dismissed tables for dinner, kept the energy up, played all the music we wanted and just knocked it out of the park. She even jumped in when needed with the venue manager to make sure everything went well - above and beyond.

I can’t say enough about the professional and high-quality service provided to us by Andy and Seth for our daughter’s wedding November 4, but I will try.
They knew the ins and outs of the venue and served us like royalty! I, as father of the bride, had some last-minute changes, and Select Entertainment proved they can turn on a dime!
It was not only the superior service they provided the day of the wedding (music, Photo Booth, DJ, etc.), but what sets them apart is the high touch they give you prior to the wedding through phone calls and emails. They literally want to know how best they can serve you and asked us questions and provided us information that we hadn’t even thought of!

Our dj helped us every step of the way through our wedding from myself arriving late and having everything squared up for us. To attending to all my bride and myself needs to relax the stress away. Better Than We Could've Imagined!
Our wedding was an absolute blast. We had so much fun-- and we heard so many people saying they had an absolute ball as well. The DJ made this all possible as our wedding had many moving parts-- including a guest who had to leave by ambulance. Andy moved forward through everything with grace, respect, and fun. He is a classy guy. The music was great-- enough for our requests but he also read the room really well. He was in our corner helping us stay in the moment instead of worrying about what was next. His communication was on point. Every generation had fun-- from grandparents to toddlers. We were so happy with the atmosphere created and could not possibly have dreamed for the DJ and the reception to have been so great!

If we could give Select Entertainment, Specifically Andy (DJ Cubbie), 10 stars, we would! From the first interaction with Cubbie, it was the best experience we could have asked for. He is so easy to talk to and is very personable. He made the entire experience seamless and stress-free for us, from start to finish. Cubbie has exceptional customer service and goes above and beyond for his clients. As cliche as it sounds, we felt "special" working with him and had his full attention the entire time. It goes without saying, he truly cares about his clients, and we were SO LUCKY to have been able to have him on our special day. Not only was Cubbie our DJ, but he was able our officiant. From the time we said go, through the decision making of what songs and what stuff to do, through all the questions that my daughter and future son in law had, to flawless execution at the reception. Andy is the best!
Andy did an amazing job at our wedding reception. He kept the party going all night by playing the right songs. He was also so helpful throughout the whole planning process, not something you would expect from a DJ! He also offers a photo booth....get the photo booth!!! You won't be disappointed.

MUST HAVE DJ for your big day!
Look no further than Andy & Select Entertainment for any DJ needs! We had Andy for our wedding and reception in October 2022 and we are still getting compliments to this day on how fun our reception was. I've seen Andy do his work at golf outings, weddings, and other events needing to add fun to the party and he absolutely brings it!

Phenomenal service
Cubbie did both our ceremony and reception. He did such an amazing job. He was very easy to work with in the planning process and really took the time to customize our ceremony to tell our love story. He was very informative and helped our family and bridal party with instructions for the timeline of the ceremony. He was prepared with a fan to keep me cool during photos, and even went out of his way to bring us drinks and make sure we ate dinner and brought us cake. Our families and friends absolutely LOVED him. He really kept the crowd entertained and I haven’t laughed so hard in a long time. Our guests loved the bag dance as well as the scavenger hunt that he suggested. Cubbie knew exactly which songs to play to keep the crowd dancing and interacted with guests. We’ve had so many people comment on how great he was, ask for his name, or tell us how much they enjoyed the nights activities. Our wedding honestly would not have been as great as it was without him there. 12/10 RECOMMEND.

Brett Agard was fantastic! The music and night was absolutely perfect! He never played a song that we didn't want to hear. He was very kind and easy to talk with. We had just moved to another state a month before our wedding and he made meeting virtual so simple! He always listened to what we wanted and was a joy to work with. I can't recommend him enough! He will make your wedding music better than you could have ever imagined!

The Best of the Best Bailey!
We had the pleasure of having Bailey DJ our wedding. She was a perfect fit from the get go! I felt like everything was going to be okay, and that she knew exactly what she was doing. She is the perfect DJ for any wedding, but especially for anxious brides. She gets everything put together in a timely manner, listens to all of your thoughts sincerely, and uses it in her work. There was never a moment when people were not dancing at the reception once the floor opened up. She had great recommendations, fun ideas, and played along with the nerdy songs we plugged into dinner. We love her!

The very first time my husband and I talked to Andy we knew he was going to be the DJ that would make our wedding reception out of this world amazing. He has this passion for DJing thats infectious.
From the very beginning it was clear Andy was more than a DJ. He was always there with checklists to keep my planning on schedule, emails full of helpful information regarding planning and details and a sounding board for my crazy ideas. He went above and beyond to make sure our music selections were spot on but also fit my husband and I to a T. And all this was just during the planning process alone! On the day of the wedding not only did he keep our day running smoothly but also made sure we didn't want for a single thing whether that be a drink, a piece of cake, a suggestion to make the day even better, or just reassurance that everything was going perfectly! And once the dancing started he didn't miss a beat! He read the crowd perfectly and kept the party going the entire night! I couldn't have imagined a better day and it was thanks to Andy! Fantastic DJ
AMAZING! Not only was Cubbie incredibly helpful during the planning period by sending check in emails, and staying in contact, he made our night unforgettable! He was very accommodating to make our reception ours. He takes his DJ job seriously. He not only played our music but he made sure we ate, and kept everything moving and organized. All for a reasonable price too! We couldn't have asked for a better DJ!

We hired Andy Powell from Select Entertainment for our wedding on 9/25/21. He was absolutely amazing. He had lots of fun recommendations for things to do during the reception. His communication from the get go was amazing and he helped ease my mind so much leading up to our big day. We had so many people tell us they had never had so much fun at a wedding reception. Absolutely Incredible Experience
Andy did a phenomenal job for our wedding!! Talk about the world's best wedding maestro! He thought of everything. He made everything run so smoothly, was amazing at keeping people dancing, and did things for us that I didn't anticipate someone who was "just a DJ" to do for us. He truly goes above and beyond. He gave us tips for our officiant, tricks on how to get the best photos, and even asked our attendants to move our cake cutting ceremony so that we wouldn't have our backs to everyone. He dismissed all of our dinner guests for our buffet, and even carried my plate(s) LOL for me. I could not have asked for better in a DJ and you need to RUN not walk to hire him for your event. Worth every single penny! 10 stars out of 5. Absolute perfection.

A+ Review for Cubbie
Wow, I can't say enough good things about having Cubbie as our DJ! He made the planning process seamless, helped us come up with a schedule for dances and potential songs (picking songs is harder than you think) and ROCKED the dance floor all night. So many of our guests have made comments that he kept the dance floor going and had a solid mix for all generations. 10/10 recommend.

I had the best DJ experience by far for my wedding! Cubbie was excellent to work with from the very beginning. He asked questions to get to know my husband and I as well as provided us with numerous ideas to help make decision making much easier. I was able to contact him easily up until my special day with questions. During our reception, Cubbie was very fun and engaging for not only us, but for all our guests. I cannot say enough good things about Andy as our wedding DJ! He went above and beyond for us and is so much more than a DJ (he felt like a wedding planner too)! He helped us come up with a timeline for the day and would send us reminder emails for other planning things we should be doing 3, 2, and 1 month out from the wedding. He worked with us to create song mashups for 3 of our special dances and they were SO awesome! He had lots of great ideas for fun things we could do throughout the night (e.g., a dollar "selfie" competition instead of "dollar dance"). He kept us on track with our timeline, helped make the day run more smoothly, and is just a great guy. He even brought us drinks while we were waiting between ceremony and reception AND carried our dinner plates to our table for us (we felt like royalty)! Our friends and family loved the songs played at our reception, and SO many people still keep telling us how much fun our wedding was! He even bought a bouquet of roses HIMSELF which he then gave to us to give to the winners of the "couples anniversary" dance (SUCH a nice touch)! He had people dancing all night long and played the best music. I cannot recommend DJ Cubbie enough to anyone looking for a wedding DJ!

Cubbie went above and beyond for us for our ceremony sound and DJing our reception. He helped make the day run more smoothly and is truly a great guy. He brought us drinks while we were waiting between ceremony and reception. He carried our dinner plates and brought us a piece of every kind of cake to our table so that we could try them all. Our friends and family loved the songs played at our reception, and we got lots of compliments on that. It was extremely helpful that you had great ideas for the different songs throughout the day, so I didn't feel like I had to pick them all.

Perfect Wedding. THANKS to Select Entertainment
There are truly no words that can even begin to describe the job Andy did and the experience he created, but I will try my best :) My husband and I were originally supposed to get married in April, but moved our wedding up to January. Not only did we move it due to COVID, but we wound up getting married in a completely different location, it was a hour away from the original location. We knew that we wanted Andy to still officiate and be the DJ for our wedding. After explaining the situation to Andy, he graciously and excitedly said that he would still be happy to do it (how lucky for us?!). Andy sent my husband and me a questionnaire to fill out so that he could better understand our relationship and begin to create a story to tell as he officiated our wedding. LET ME TELL YOU...the story he created from these few questions was exactly our story and the way he told it during the ceremony had our guests equally laughing, and crying. Andy, we could not have asked for a more perfect ceremony. I can’t really describe what happened between the ceremony and the beginning of cocktail hour as we were taking pictures. All I know is that our guests were already having a GREAT time as cocktail hour began once through dinner the dance floor never emptied from that point on. SERIOUSLY, NEVER. We had requested only two songs to play even though we had a laundry list of songs we meant to request but never got around to it. However, it was like Andy had ESP and not only seamlessly included our requested songs but played every song we THOUGHT of requesting. His transitions between different genres and music was amazing. Every single one of our guests raved about how incredible Andy was. If you are looking for a DJ and officiant for your wedding, or any event for that matter, I could not recommend him and his company enough!

11/10 recommend Select Entertainment! What can we say to adequately sum up our experience working with Select Entertainment? Andy (Cubbie) is a true professional and was incredible from start to finish. We booked with him over a year in advance and in that time, we met virtually (thanks COVID) and corresponded via email many times to discuss wedding plans. He was attentive and quick to respond. He really values his clients; he makes that very apparent. Andy's ability to mix music and transition from song to song was commented on all through the night. Music was playing while people ate and mingled which set the mood perfectly. Not only are his DJ skills WAY above par, so is his ability to MC. He introduced our dances, and speeches. He reads the room and feels the crowd. He was accommodating and flexible. Honestly, I don't have enough words to describe how absolutely perfect he made our day. One thing is for sure. A DJ can make or break your wedding. It was an investment and one I am TRULY happy we spent the money on. I could not be more thankful for Andy and how special he made our day. Steve and I can't wait for the next excuse to use him again. Andy Powell, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making our wedding day so amazing. We are so thankful that amidst all the chaos that this last year has provided with COVID-19 and such, you still were able to make our day exactly what we envisioned. I cannot recommend Andy enough. Not only was Bret an amazing dj, but also everything you could ask for in a vendor. Getting married during a pandemic is very difficult and he made it breezy. Everytime a something changed in regards to regulations I could always count on a email updating me with changes and recommendations, even if it had nothing to do with DJ services. They were the only vendor to do this, and it made planning so much easier! I'd hire them again in a heartbeat.

Andy was EXCELLENT to work with in every stage of our wedding planning process. He was responsive, organized, kind and experienced. It was easy to tell that he loves what he does and truly wants to make sure the customer has the best experience. From the beginning he stood out as a top vendor because he has a well thought out process and timeline to plan for the wedding day. Also, anytime we discussed changes over the phone or email he adjusted our contract timely and sent us the revisions. I quickly began to trust that Andy would do what he said he would do! An important item not to gloss over was that we had to postpone our wedding from our original wedding date in June because of COVID. Andy spent extra time with us as we decided on our new wedding date and helped me feel more relaxed about moving our wedding date.
The planning tools on Andy's website are easy to follow and cover every situation where music or emceeing may be needed for the wedding ceremony and reception. We filled out these planning documents first on our own and then had a meeting with Andy to go through everything in detail to make sure nothing was missed. Andy went above and beyond to work with our best man who could not attend the wedding but still wanted to give a speech. Our best man pre-recorded his speech and then worked with Andy to play the recording at our reception. Another surprise for us was that the matron of honor worked with Andy as well to add some musical elements to her speech.
I was very happy that we chose Andy to be our DJ as we led up to our wedding day. Then on our wedding day he completely BLEW US AWAY! Andy literally treated us like royalty. He managed to dismiss tables for dinner while taking our drink orders, dessert orders and clearing our plates. He took away our worries before we could even think about them. He checked in with us often to see if there was anything we needed.
The music was perfect during each part of our day. We gave him an idea of what we were looking for and then he ran with it. It's funny to me that I barely mentioned the music in this review. I think it is because when you are looking to hire a DJ you expect them to have the song you want to hear and be able to jump from one song to the next smoothly. With Andy you will get that and SO much more.
Andy is professional, fun and experienced. You will not regret having Andy DJ your wedding!! In fact, you will probably have many people ask how they can book Andy for their event. We sure did!

Pandemic Professional
I can't even begin to explain how happy we were with Andy on our wedding day. Due to the restrictions from Covid we were unable to have him DJ at our wedding at the time, but still had him officiate our ceremony. He was phenomenal! Obviously anyone planning a wedding during this time understands the stress and chaos that went into the event, but he was incredibly helpful. His years of experience came in super handy as he had helped with ideas of how to go about our day with all the crazy restrictions that were ever changing. My husband and our guests had nothing but great things to say about the ceremony. He kept it light, happy and better than how i dreamed it being. I would 100% recommend Andy to officiate a ceremony. He was perfect and we can't thank him enough for being apart of our special day.

If you are looking for an absolutely amazing experience with the a DJ, look no further. Andy with select entertainment was amazing. Not only did he play appropriate music, he was also my daughters officiant. We had more compliments on his service all night long and even into the next week about Andy helping them carry their food, Get them a drink, guide them to the restroom, cleaned off the tables, and kept the night going with all the events my daughter had requested. Andy was way more than a DJ as he made the night go smooth, kept this mom calm, and went way above and beyond. Excellent Officiant/DJ
Bret officiated our small ceremony and he DJ’d our reception. He took so much stress off of coming up with vows and planning our list of music. My husband has quite a bit of social anxiety and Bret was so helpful and down-to-Earth that my husband had a much easier time than both of us had expected, he actually enjoyed himself immensely!
I sent Bret several emails throughout the last few months prior to the wedding and he always responded in a timely manner as well as giving detailed information when necessary. He was flexible when it came to meeting to go over details of the ceremony and reception, and he drove from Ankeny to Marshalltown for the rehearsal.
He told us several times ‘whatever you want, this is YOUR special day’ and he really lived up to that! We wanted a very short and simple ceremony and he made that very painless! We were very thrilled to find a company that had officiants because that was a major concern for us.
I am more than happy to leave this review because the positive reviews of Select Entertainment are the reason we decided to go with them! I would recommend Bret and Select Entertainment over and over again!

Andy was the best DJ we could have asked for on our big day! He kept the timeline going and even carried my husband and my food out to the table after we went through the line. DJ Cubbie is THE BEST!! My now-husband’s rental tux pants had a broken clasp on the side and his pants would not stay up! Cubbie literally gave him the suspenders off his back! It was the most incredible and thoughtful thing. I was truly awed. He made the whole reception run so smoothly and was even checking in with me to see if I needed anything throughout the night. If I could rate a hundred stars I would!

There was no better choice than DJ Cubbie. It is hard to find a DJ because it's hard to see an example product. I'm telling you that Select Entertainment will not disappoint. Worth every penny
Andy was the DJ at our wedding in June. We lived out of state and he was amazing to work with. He was very professional and knew all of the right questions to ask. He has a huge variety of music to select from and was willing to find songs for us. He also had fun activities to do during the reception. We did a selfie dance that everybody loved and it was new and unique. He made sure the reception ran smoothly and we didn’t have to worry about anything.

I can not say enough good things about Cubbie and Select Enterainment. He was amazing to work with and has many creative ideas that really brought our wedding to the next level. He not only DJed our reception but also provided the music and sound to our ceremony in which was all awesome. He helped pick out the songs, coordinated with the wedding party about timing of everything, and really went over and above on his DJ services. He did such a good job that our best friends are using him for their wedding in April and we can’t wait to see what he will do for their wedding. I would HIGHLY recommend Cubbie for any event!

He worked with our different ideas we had and he had some great ideas we had never seen at a wedding before! I highly recommend him to anyone getting married! I hired Andy as my DJ after attending a wedding he DJ'd for. Both occasions he did a phenomenal job! He provided the sound for my ceremony & my reception. He is extremely knowledgeable on how events should flow, and he made great suggestions for activities & songs that I was unsure about. Since he DJ'd at two weddings I've attended, I can say he knows exactly what type of music to play depending on the crowd. The atmosphere he provided was very different, and both were perfect for each event. I definitely recommend hiring him for your wedding!

Andy was truly fabulous to work with - I was beyond impressed and had several guests comment on how great the DJ was. My favorite part was how "behind-the-scenes" he was as well as being a wonderful DJ and MC. He grabbed my husband and I waters throughout the night, cleared our dinner plates, and checked in with us during the dance to see if there was any changes that need to be made. We had the best dance party - all thanks to Andy! He was also the DJ for our ceremony since we didn't get married in a church and it went off without a hitch, even with some night before changes. Would highly recommend!

We had Andy as the DJ for our wedding on April 1st. My husband and I knew we wanted to go with him, because we met at another event he DJ'ed, and the atmosphere was always fun and exciting. As an aunt said at the wedding of her OWN DAUGHTER in July about our reception, "That was the most fun reception I had been to in 15 years!"
During the planning process Andy always kept us up to date with what we should be doing to plan for our reception as far as music and entrances go, and he had several tools on their website to help us do just that. Mitch and I had picked a unique song for our first dance and it didn't phase him that it was not in their library; he got it anyway! He also had some of the best ideas for our grand entrance, timeline to make things run smoothly, and new, fun things to make our reception our own.
On the day of the wedding, our wedding party arrived to reception a little early, but we were already to eat! Andy gave us time to freshen up, and had us all lined up for the grant entrance and my wedding planner wanted us to wait ANOTHER TWENTY MINUTES, because it would fit her timeline better. I did not want to do that, and Andy handled everything for me. He went and talked to her, and got us into the reception when we wanted to. He was very attentive throughout the night and even brought me my slice of cake, because we were so busy talking to guests, which was definitely not on his list of duties!
We could not have asked for better DJ (and beyond) service.

We had DJ Cubbie from Select Entertainment provide music for our wedding and reception. He did an amazing job, and we couldn't have been happier with his services! We got so many comments from our guests about how great the DJ was. We had a couple of meetings with DJ Cubbie prior to our wedding so we could go over the information he would need for that day and our preferences. DJ Cubbie really got to know us and our tastes, so he could make the wedding and reception what we wanted it to be. The planning guides he uses are extremely helpful and he was very responsive on any questions we had. The day of the event he checked on us several times to see if there was anything he could help with or do for us (including grabbing me a glass of champagne from the bar!). DJ Cubbie truly went above and beyond to make our wedding day memorable. If you're looking for a wedding DJ, don't look any further. This is the company to go with.

We couldn't be more pleased with how Select Entertainment handled our wedding. I have known Andy for a while since I attended trivia events he did around town (he's awesome at that too!) He also did my sister's wedding a few years back so I knew Select was a great organization but they still went above and beyond. He ran our rehearsal for us and asked really great questions to help us think about our big day. His pacing of the party was incredible too. It was a complete blast the entire time and that's because he read the crowd and kept the party moving. Wedding planning can be really difficult as there are so many moving pieces but Select Entertainment was a great mix of fun and professionalism. I could go on and on but my main point is that Select Entertainment played a key role in making this one of the best days of our lives.

Andy from select entertainment was our DJ as well as our Officiant for our wedding. He went above and beyond to make our day perfect. Andy was there if I had any questions about which songs would be best to use, and at what times we should do certain things like cake cutting, games, etc to make everything go as smooth as possible. He has worked with tons of other vendors and was even able to give me tips and recommendations for who to contact for photographers, venues and catering. We used Andy Powell from Select Entertainment and he was nothing short of incredible. From the moment we sat down to discuss our playlist, Andy had so many great ideas that we didnt even think of. He was amazing to work with and bounced ideas around that worked splendidly. He also DJ'd our ceremony (as well as the reception) and even on a cold rainy day, he made the sun shine! We did a trivia dismissal and it went perfectly. Everyone got their food fast, he pretty much let family win first and then friends! One of the biggest things I have to say about Andy is that he did a phenomenal job keeping everyone on the dance floor. We had Bret Agard as our DJ, and to say that he was amazing is an understatement. Seriously, he was super helpful and always responded quickly. He even gave us some other ideas on how to do things (have us usher out the guests at our ceremony rather than the ushers doing it themselves, do a couples dance after the first dance, father/daughter, and mother/son dance was over, candy toss before the bouquet and garter toss to get the kids out on the dance floor, etc.). I was worried no one would want to dance, but Bret did a fantastic job of keeping the dance floor full all night! Seriously, there are not enough good things to say about him! We could not have had a better DJ. Period. Andy will do the most unique and creative forms of entertainment, but never anything the couple doesn't want! We got compliments upon compliments from our guests on how it was the best reception/dance they had ever been to. Andy kept the party flowing from one segment to the next with no dull moments and played the perfect variation and styles of music to keep guest, young AND old, on the dance floor all night. He had great communication in the months leading up to the wedding and always professional. The schedule of the day he planned was perfect and we as the bride and groom never had to worry about a thing. We had him for our wedding and reception and I cannot even begin to tell you how much help he was. I absolutely loved that he kicked the dance off with a slow song immediately following our first dance and invited all couples to join us- everyone got up and joined and then as soon as the slow song ended he went right into a fast song that kept everyone on the dance floor! Towards the end of the night he played some awesome 90's beats and once he saw the crowd loving it- he kept 'em coming! He was phenomenal! I highly recommend him!

We used Cubbie (Andy Powell) for our reception. We did a destination wedding and came back to celebrate. Even though it wasn't your "traditional" day Andy had GREAT ideas that our family LOVED. His personality and energy really kept the night flowing and the dance floor was packed ALL night. His did AWESOME job and was very attentative to all our needs.

Blind Photography recommended Cubbie to us. They told us how much fun he is, and they've always had a blast when he was the DJ. After that I was praying he was available for our wedding date. The wedding planning started mid October '15, and the date was set for January 2nd, 2016. After contacting him, we found out he was still available, and had no issues at all working with us on our strict timeline. He had wonderful ideas that we hadn't seen before (And after attending 5 weddings last year, I wanted something fresh for mine). He was wonderful to work with, and helped us figure out exactly what we wanted. The wedding day rolled around and everything was taken care of and he was ready to go. The guests loved him and we laughed the whole time. Cubbie truly made our day special, and I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs a DJ.

We absolutely loved working with Brad as our DJ from Select Entertainment! He provided the songs we wanted for our ceremony and he had great ideas for our reception that we never would have thought of! We would definitely recommend Brad to anyone looking for a DJ for their wedding ceremony and/or reception!
