I forget how we found out about Stephanie (Secrest), but we are so thankful we did. We were being ghosted by the photographer we had made a verbal agreement with, which forced me to look for another, but Stephanie is an upgrade in every way.
She has so much experience and talent that shows in every aspect of her work, from planning session meetings to the gallery afterward, and her prices are not only lower than we were going to be paying elsewhere, the value is incomparable. The artistic direction during portrait photography was also amazing, she quickly put us at ease and we just knew it would be a fantastic product. (And it was!)
The second photographer she works with was also indispensable, their teamwork was so good we hardly noticed he was even there.
Above all, we felt like we've made a new friend, who we can reunite with any time we may want a photographer in the future. We look forward to having an opportunity to see her again soon! -

Stephanie was a pleasure to work with, excellent at communicating and super respectful during our church ceremony. She was quick but professional during the posed pictures and really helped us with posing and picture composition. We had plenty of time to mingle and talk with our guests while still getting all the pictures we wanted. One of the kind wedding photographer!!!
We love and appreciate Stephanie so much!!! She was the best decision that we made for our wedding. I would use her for any photo need in the future! We met on a wedding affair and her caring, friendly and sweet personality clicked with me immediately. She is a phenomenal photographer. She is very experienced. She loved and respected our cultural heritage and captured our beautiful traditional outfits and our wedding ritual. She was fast but never compromise the quality. For the family portrait, we were really short on time, but Stephaine kept the "family list" with her and made sure to capture all group members. She was very detail-oriented!!!Trust me!!! In one of the "dipping" shot, my veil kept falling off, she was so patient and we probably did more than five times for that shot. In addition, she would make sure that everyone in the photo line up nicely. I didn't realize the importance of this little detail until I went to my friend's wedding. She captured many little precious moment without us noticing it. Those were the best shots! Stephaine genuinely cares, that's really what made her so special! -

I'm a bit late to writing this review but we were absolutely thrilled with Stephanie.
She is professional, punctual, personable, reliable, and so creative. Her prices are transparent and fair, she communicated every step of the way and payment was easy and straightforward.
Stephanie bring a ton of experience to the table and she was integral to helping me hash out my vision for our wedding day. I didn't have a wedding planner or coordinator but Stephanie was so great about bouncing ideas off of each other until we got what felt true and authentic to my partner and me. The weather threw a lot of our plans off course but Stephanie didn't skip a beat. We still had an amazing day and our photos are magic!
Aside from her technical skills, she has amazing people skills too. All of my guests loved her. We got so many positive comments from our guests about how great she was at directing everyone and keeping it light and fun. Over 6 months later we're still receiving rave reviews about how much my guests loved her. I absolutely adore Stephanie and would happily recommend her to my dearest loved ones looking for someone to photograph their wedding day. She's the best! -

If you're looking for a great photographer, Stephanie is the person for you. She was fantastic!
We were so grateful to have Stephanie and Edwin take both our engagement and wedding photos. Our wedding was postponed like many others and we were so grateful they were flexible with our new date. They really helped out with the wedding and were super friendly to all our loved ones and was always there when we wanted a moment captured. They both captured each and every event from our wedding day from our ceremony to s'mores and even snowballs!

Stephanie is very nice, patient and professional as a photographer. We had a great time with her from discussing our wedding plan, showing our dresses to wedding photos we like. She always listened to our expectations carefully and gave us useful comments. She also kept confirming with us about some details which makes us feel she really values her work and our wedding.
The wedding day was perfect. We went to city hall, Legion of Honor, baker beach for photos. At the end, we have more than 700 well-processed photos returned by Stephanie. They are gorgeous and beautiful. WE LOVE them so much !!!
I would highly recommend her to my friends who will have weddings later. Really great experience with Stephanie. -

Both my wife and I JUST LOVE Stephanie, we want to adopt her! She has experience, professionalism, an obvious love of her craft, and produces excellent results! At the same time it's so clear that she's fun loving and silly, which fit so very well with our personalities. She has an AMAZING eye for composition, framing, color, and lighting, and somehow a perfect trigger finger for getting THAT shot. Laura Sent on 11/16/2015Stephanie is awesome! Ok with that said, let me write a review that validates this. The first time we met her at her house, I knew she was the photographer for our wedding. She was kind, inviting and had a nice calm about her. Something I knew would be needed for the day-of craziness. And most of all she seemed genuinely interested in our story and wedding plans. She cares about her clients!
The day of we were running behind but she still worked hard to get through the to-do list and even found some tender moments in between. She was very attentive and patient, especially when the kids weren't always keen to doing a pose she wanted. She found ways around this and still got great shots. Great shots is an understatement. There were pictures of us where I felt stiff and awkward, but none of that is visible in her photos! They look clean, crisp and timeless. The poses, the lighting, the candids. Everything looks awesome. Hiring a great photographer for your wedding is a must; but finding one who cares is like icing on the cake.
I'm only getting married once (as I repeatedly told my then soon-to-be husband several times during the process), but if I were to do it again I'd hire Stephanie in a heartbeat. Like I said, she's amazing! -

Stephanie far exceeded our expectations. She not only captured our special day beautifully, but she also managed to capture it in a way that truly tells the story of our wedding day. We got emotional while reviewing our photos, because she did such a phenomenal job of capturing the magic of it all. We were especially blown away by her artistic eye, her creativity, the vivid nature of her shots...and all while making us feel so comfortable while doing it. For us, as a gay couple, it was truly important to work with someone who was professional and would allow us to be ourselves. We found that 110% in Stephanie.
