Shay did my bridal hair, my wife’s hair, two bridesmaids, and both of our moms! She was able to do exactly what each of us wanted with or without pictures for inspiration. She started at 8am and would have gotten through everybody by 12pm if I wasn’t so late getting to her haha. She took her time with each of us and was always quick to make any changes the girls wanted. I absolutely loved having her be a part of my big day. She’s not only amazing at hair, but she’s an amazing person who was so fun to talk with. I highly recommend her for anything that has to do with hair. And of course I ty recommend her for all brides!!! I’ve told her a million times, but thank you so much Shay for making me and my wife look and feel exactly how we imagined🤍 -

Shay is just a gem, so professional and so so sweet! My hair stayed all day and honestly I was too lazy to take it all out so it stayed most of the next day as well. My bridesmaids came up with low bun styles the morning of and she executed what they wanted so well!! We absolutely loved working with her! -

Perfect Hair for my Perfect day
I have known Shay for the better part of 9yrs and I knew that couldn’t imagine anyone else doing my hair for my Wedding day. My wedding theme was glam vintage Hollywood and I really wanted to have the Hollywood waves. Shay was able to perfectly execute the look I was going for and it truly brought my entire look together. In addition Shay did my mother and grandmother’s hair ensure that each of her clients felt as beautiful as possible for my big day! If you are looking for an incredibly talents stylist that cane take an idea and run with it Shay is your gal!!! -

hiring Shay for my wedding hair was a fantastic decision! We did a trial run, which is required for bride hair and SO worth it. We were able to iron out our plan, which meant I just LOVED my hair the day of the wedding.
Shay was able to come to me at the hotel in Tacoma for a fee, which was also totally worth it. She was easy to work with and quick with correspondence.
I highly recommend her! -

Best thing you can do for your hair
Shay was absolutely incredible! I did a destination wedding and she made it so easy to get in for a trial just a few days before my wedding. She came to the venue and did two of my friend’s hair, the mom’s hair, and my hair. She was fast and made everyone look amazing!! She is incredibly responsive. I would recommend her a hundred times! She’s amazing at what she does and so sweet!! Definitely book her for your wedding if you can!!! -

Shay is amazing and is a wizard with hair! I showed her a picture and she literally did exactly what the picture looked like! She also did my moms hair (short hair) and was able to do a low up-do that looked SO good! Made us both feel like a princess! (Also, my mom did a peloton ride after our trial and it stayed perfect in tact) my hair also stayed in tact through TONS of sweaty dancing. -

The Best Bridesmaid Hair!
Shay did all of my bridesmaids and my mothers hair, and we were all obsessed! From the beginning, Shay was responsive and professional. On the day of the wedding, she arrived early and got everyones hair done (with flower clips in) on time! She did 5 different updos for my bridesmaids that were each so different and beautiful, all while matching so well! Everyone loved their hair and they held the whole night. I could not recommend Shay enough. She was perfect for our wedding! -

Based on some of Shay’s photos of her work, I practically begged her to do my wedding hair since it was exactly what I wanted!! I had a wedding change from COVID and she was so flexible in making my new date work. I owe it to Shay for creating the hairstyle of my dreams! -

Shay did a fabulous job from the beginning! From the hair trial to the day of she made sure to understand exactly what I was envisioning. She knew which hairstyle would fit my face, what would work well with my dress and vibe, and was very professional the entire time. Shay is the absolute best!! I have initially gone to a different person to do my hair and it was a disaster, I was scrambling to find someone else and Shay graciously was able to squeeze me in! We did a trial for the wedding and it was great, but when it came to the wedding day she nailed it!! It was even better than the trial! It exceeded my expectations immensely! I would highly recommend her you will not regret it!! -

Shay was amazing. During the consultation she told me she was going to make my hair perfection on the day of my wedding and she did! Even after the consultation appointment I had so many compliments.
The day of wedding my hair was magical and stayed perfect all night long. She also did my bridesmaids, officiant, and one of the flower girls’ hair and everyone looking perfect! Even my maid of honor who is super picky loved her hair and that it stayed beautiful all night long.
Shay was enthralled in her art while we were getting ready but also professional, polite and personable. She’s a joy to be around. I couldn’t say enough amazing things about her honestly. Next time I need my hair done for event or even a cut I’ll be calling Shay to do it. Love her! -

Just one look at Shays Instagram will show you examples of her beautiful wedding hair, and it holds true in person as well! Shay does a wonderful job! I have really fine but thick hair that can be hard to work with, but Shays skill and the quality of product she uses made my hair stay beautiful all day and night! -

Shay did my hair, 2 bridesmaids, my mom, & flower girl. Price also included travel and bridal trial. Everyone looked beautiful. I did not realize until now that her website says she offers a discount for hair above the shoulders for bridesmaids. One bridesmaid did have shorter hair but I’m not going to bring it up now. My fault for not doing research & asking the questions. Shay did have to reschedule the bridal trial because she was sick. I gave her a second chance and loved my bridal trial hair. One of the girls did not follow the instructions and had damp hair on the day of the wedding. Shay did not have a blow dryer but to be fair she did say come with dry hair. I didn’t even realize until after looking at wedding photos but I had asked for a braid in my bridal trial. I got one then but did not get one on wedding day. I also didn’t notice until now but my moms hair is very similar to mine. I did not choose to tell Shay any of this after realizing, I felt beautiful. But for someone more picky or that’s more important too, I’d recommend showing your bridal trial photo to her as a reminder on the day of the wedding. She did ask what I wanted the day of the wedding and I assumed she kept track and I told her I just wanted it more curly than last time. We were running about 30 minutes behind on hair but the photographer left wiggle room in the event of this so it ended up being ok. It was partially our fault for not being ready when it was our turn. The makeup artist (different company) had written out the schedule. I shared it with the photographer who added her own info & with Shay. Day of Shay asked who’s hair she was doing first and ended up alternating with makeup. Shay was on time to the venue. First looks ended up being around 2:30 & hair was done right before that. By our first dance at 8:00pm some of my curls fell flat. The front still looked great. It was an indoor/outdoor venue. The high for the day , a week before the wedding, was projected to be 80. If my memory serves correct I think it might have been 70’s? There was ac in the bridal suite and we did not use a steamer in there. I was sweaty by the end of the night, so that and the heat I’m assuming played a factor. My bridal hair held a curl better however I was mostly inside that day. The bridal trial was $175. Wedding day hair was $230. Everyone paid for themselves. I personally tipped $100 for my wedding day hair. Photos are in order of when my hair was done to the end of the night. I included a photo of one of the bridesmaids by herself. The last two photos of hair are from the bridal trial. Overall the wedding day was the best day of mine and my fiancés life’s and these were all minor occurrences. As I said I didn’t realize most of these things until after while reflecting. Shay did do a good job on hair and has great talent. -
