The ceremony was one of the most meaningful parts of our wedding, and we wanted an officiant who could share our love story with our guests (many of whom had traveled from abroad and didn’t know how we met or our journey together since). Kristin was absolutely incredible. She told our story so beautifully and with such warmth that it felt as though she could have been one of our friends, while still remaining the perfect neutral presence.
We chose the fully personalized ceremony script, and it was amazing to have something so unique and tailored to us. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about it during the cocktail hour, picking up on little details Kristin had woven in, proof of just how thoughtfully and engagingly she told our story.
From start to finish, working with Kristin was effortless. She took the time to truly get to know us, made sure every detail was right, and handled all the legalities seamlessly. Finding someone who fit our vibe was a real process in Santa Barbara, and discovering Kristin was an absolute gift. -

Words truly can’t capture how AMAZING Kristin is! She went above and beyond to support my husband and I as we prepared our vows, providing a sense of calm and ease leading up to the ceremony. Kristin customized our ceremony script to perfectly align with our Disney Tangled theme, making the entire experience feel incredibly intimate and special.
Not to mention, Kristin is an outstanding officiant! Her performance was engaging, energizing, and empowering. This review is so incredibly long overdue (we got married 5/20/2022), but absolutely wanted to take the time to give Kristin the recognition she deserves! Our ceremony was absolutely perfect in every way, we could not have asked for a better officiant than Kristin. We felt very comfortable with her from the beginning and her whole process is very easy and stress free. We loved the templates she offered and also love that she offers a completely personalized option. Even though we went with one her templates, we still felt it properly captured how we feel about marriage and love, it felt very personal to us and it was written beautifully. We were still able to say our own written vows and it flowed so well with her script. Communication was very clear and easy, she never made us feel any sort of stress which was so appreciated. We feel very lucky that Kristin was the person to marry us and we would absolutely recommend her to anyone and everyone! -

Kristin was the celebrant of our wedding, and we couldn’t have wished for a friendlier, warmer, funnier, more professional or heartfelt person to perform our ceremony!
Kristin was able to make plans at short notice, and be incredibly flexible - even though we were doing a small wedding with just the two of us, and a relatively short ceremony, she went absolutely above and beyond, not only suggesting potential beach spots where we could get married, but then offering to travel from Ventura down to Point Dume to perform our small ceremony, rather than asking us to go to her location instead, like all the other celebrants we had tried!
She delivered a lovely service against the backdrop of the ocean and the sunset that was truly perfect, and was so friendly throughout that we ended up inviting her to our small wedding dinner after - and we would now have no hesitation in thinking of her as a good friend!
Thankyou again so much Kristin, you made our day truly special and we couldn’t have done it without you!

Perfect beach wedding!

Kristin was the BEST wedding officiant we could've asked for! My husband and I were both a little nervous for our big day, but she made us feel at ease and made sure our ceremony ran smoothly. She also did a fantastic job helping us at our wedding rehearsal, so we knew exactly what to do during the ceremony. We loved her pre-written vows as well, and she had lots to choose from. She was definitely a highlight of our wedding, I'd highly recommend her to anyone looking for an officiant in the Venutra area! -

Kristin was wonderful to work with before the wedding, all the way leading up to the wedding and on our actual wedding day. Kristin did a great job writing us a very personal ceremony speech that really expressed our love story for our friends and family. On the actual wedding day, Kristin arrived early and made sure to check in with us to see if we needed anything and that our whole bridal party was all set for the walk down the aisle. During the ceremony, our microphone / speakers were actually malfunctioning a bit but Kristin ended up solving the problem by just projecting loud and clear so that everyone could hear her. After the ceremony, Kristin even helped us wrangle friends and family for pictures while she patiently waited to get a picture with us. Kristin exceeded our expectations and was so professional from start to finish. We can't recommend Kristin enough--thank you to Kristin for making our wedding day all that much more special! -

Perfection
I will say the moment we spoke to Kristen we could feel the enthusiasm and passion for what she does. She made the whole experience from start to finish perfect. She gave us various options and it was extremely well put together. The day of the wedding was amazing and she just enhanced the moment. We couldnt of asked for a better person to marry us. Get married by Kristin!
My husband I were just married by Kristin, and I would recommend her to anybody! Throughout the entire process - of searching for an officiant, hiring, discussing what we wanted out of our ceremony, composing a script, performing the ceremony, and filing the paperwork - Kristin was exceptional! Not only was she professional and kind, but her knowledge of the marriage process in California was plain as day. She helpfully gives guidelines on how the process works, and provided instructions on post-wedding tasks (i.e., name changes, etc.). I highly recommend hiring Kristin and Seaside Ceremonies for your elopement/wedding! -

This summer we Googled Officiants and after contacting a few our search ended once we came across Kirsten. She loves what she does and it comes across in her custom written ceremonies…. And even more in her interactions with us the customers. She is beautiful and charming and you would be wise to hire her.
Her pricing should be higher for the level of service she provides. She also offers referrals or a list of trusted vendors of which we also had fantastic results from. Thank God we found this lovely caring professional. -

We eloped in Channel Islands National Park, and Kristin was more than willing to tag along with us for the day to officiate our ceremony. Intimate and Calming
Kristin was wonderful. She gave us just the right amount of guidance for our elopement ceremony and vows, including suggesting a really touching rock ceremony, which fit our park venue and our love of nature perfectly. We couldn’t have asked for a better officiant than Kristin. We originally booked her for a 100-person wedding in Santa Paula, which became a 14-person backyard wedding in Lancaster thanks to Covid. She rolled with the punches and helped us figure out the marriage license situation, as well as changing our ceremony to be more appropriate for the more intimate setting. She has been a true professional from the start, but also incredibly warm and easy to talk to. She is a great speaker and made our ceremony something to truly remember. Even her short and sweet ceremony used just the right words that complemented our personal vows. We cannot wait to work with her again for our original plans; I’m certain she’ll make our vow renewal next year feel just as special. -

5 stars and beyond. I highly recommend Kristin .
She walks you through every step of the process including obtaining a marriage license all the way to the other side once you're married.
She has a great energy and spirit and truly knows how to write and personalize each ceremony. You can be as involved or not involved as you please and she will accommodate.
I also appreciated how she made the ceremony about us and not her
While looking for officiants via websites, YouTube etc we noticed quite a few "show" people offering services
And we got concerned they'd make the ceremony more about them . With Kristin this is not the case.

Happy Couple
I highly recommend Seaside Ceremonies. Kristin provided exactly what we needed, a short and sweet ceremony. However, it felt more than that. We all enjoyed the beautiful words that she shared for our ceremony. She was patient, kind and had great energy, even after sitting in 2 plus hours of traffic.

Outstanding ceremony
Kristin recently Officiated my 10/05/2019 wedding in Moorpark, CA. When my fiancée and I were searching for an officiant we wanted someone who would give our ceremony the best of both worlds with our personalities. Sure enough Kristin made it happened with our own personalized ceremony! We have been working with her for over year for this day. She took the time to get to know us as a couple and as individuals. This made our ceremony intimate and fun! Might I add she is LGBTQ friendly as well! We had a small hiccup with lighting our unity candle due to the slight breeze and kristin played it off so well, everyone got a little comic relief from it. Sometimes things don’t go as planned but to know that Kristin went along with it made it 10 times enjoyable. We can’t thank Kristin enough for all of hard work and effort she put forth towards our ceremony. It was beautiful from start to finish. We definitely consider Kristin a close friend who has now played an important role in our lives. Kristin will not disappoint!

If I could give Kristin 10 stars, I would. My husband and I live in another part of California so all of our communication pre-wedding was through phone and email and we didn’t actually meet her until our rehearsal. Despite the distance she wrote an AMAZING ceremony! It was so personal to us and included so many details that made it incredibly meaningful. Several people said it was the best wedding ceremony they’ve been to. Aside from beautiful writing, Kristin is also very professional and personable, she had all the legal information easily available and was always easy to reach for questions. We could not have been happier with Kristin and we’re so happy we chose her to marry us! -

Kristin was absolutely amazing, even with a completely inept bride such as myself. Although a small wedding, I decided to do all the wedding planning and was completely horrible at communicating. However, Kristin kept reaching out to me to make sure I was on top of the ceremony script and the ideas she had as well as reaching out to meet with her. We met with her and she was so sweet and listened to me and my (now) husband gush over our story. By doing so she intertwined our story into a template she had already crafted and it became fluid and absolutely beautiful. She took our ideas in stride and crafted an amazing ceremony script. I was lucky to find her. -

Kristin was absolutely awesome! My original minister fell through, but Kristin came to the rescue. She was super flexible and responsive despite our crazy schedule (both my husband and I are military). She tailored the ceremony speech to fit our story and brought a lot of laughs into our ceremony (which I absolutely loved). If you need a minister, I would highly recommend having Kristin be the one to help celebrate your day! You won't regret it! -

Kristin is a gem!! She’s professional, kind, patient and so amazing!! She sent us questionnaires to fill out and from that she created a beautiful wedding script. We were blown away by the script. Andrew Sent on 06/27/2018I can't even begin to express how happy we are with the beautiful ceremony Kristin provided for us this past weekend. Working with Kristin was such a joy. Not only is she incredibly organized, punctual and professional, she is a sweetheart as well.
From the very beginning, Kristin took the time to get to know us as individuals, and as a couple. She even met us at a coffee shop on a Sunday afternoon weeks before the wedding, just to give us an idea of what we might expect on our wedding day, and to answer any questions we had. She was eager to learn about us, our beliefs, and what WE envisioned our ceremony to be like.
Our ceremony turned out to be a beautiful, joyful reflection of my husband and I as a couple. It was just perfect.
