  Sean Made Our Dreams Come True!

  Sean was absolutely fantastic for our cocktail hour and reception! All of our guests couldn’t stop talking about how great he was, he played at the perfect level so that everyone wasn’t having to scream over the music, and he played every single song I mentioned to him during our phone calls. Sean made our wedding exactly what we wanted, and on top of it all he’s the nicest guy. All of our guests thought we were personal friends with him just because of how friendly he was. I couldn’t recommend him enough!

  Sean Tobin was the absolute BEST!

  Sean is absolutely FANTASTIC. My wife and I hired him for our wedding where he played for about 4 hours, including for our ceremony walk out and walk back. When I say that we heard rave reviews about Sean absolutely all night, it would truly be an understatement. Sean was so incredibly kind throughout the entire process, thorough with his work and just so incredibly talented. I highly recommend him for any type of event where you want live music to be played. You cannot pick a better person!

  5 Star Review

  We hired Sean to play during our ceremony and cocktail hour. We booked Sean about a year and a half before our wedding and I have nothing bad to say! From the day we booked him to the day of our wedding he was always very responsive. I had a few songs in mind for our processional and recessional songs and Sean was able to make a recording of them and send them to me. This really helped me in making my decisions for which songs to pick. He did such an amazing job on our wedding day!

  Knows how to read the room

  Sean was fantastic for our 50 person indoor micro wedding cocktail hour and reception at a restaurant! He didn’t overpower the space at all which could have easily been done, but rather was the perfect background music during dinner and also the perfect vibe for those who wanted to hop on the dance floor or enjoy him while they waited for a drink at the bar. He definitely knows how to read the room an adjust to it! Several of our guests commented on how great he was, we couldn’t be happier with our decision to go with him! He is such a polite, respectful and professional person to work with and did a fantastic job MCing for us as well and was super flexible and easy throughout the whole event. Thank you Sean!

  So much fun!

  We hired Sean after hearing him play at a friends wedding - he played during our cocktail hour and at our after party and we are so glad we hired him! Sean is great at reading the crowd and helped cultivate the vibe we were looking for at both events. He was super flexible and responsive throughout the planning process and we cant recommend him enough! Everyone had a blast singing along to his sets.

  Sean was an absolute dream to work with! From the very first conversation he helped us see the vision we wanted for our wedding. He was extremely communicative and always seemed to be one step ahead of us in the planning process. The greatest part of working with Sean was how extremely flexible he was during the event. When some of our guests had a few song requests that didn’t quite fit with our original plan, we asked Sean to accommodate. He didn’t bat an eye as he switched gears to the new vibe the wedding took on. Then he closed the party out with a bang, really rocking out on his last batch of songs. Everyone left happy and didn’t have enough good things to say about him. I would recommend Sean again and again!

He has a huge repertoire of songs and is willing to learn a few special songs if requested. He was incredibly responsive throughout the entire wedding planning process, and even provided recordings of the songs we chose for our procession beforehand.   Amazing! The perfect addition to any event

  Sean is so talented and the perfect addition to any event! He played during our farewell drinks/lunch at a local brewery the day after our wedding. He added the perfect ambience, had great energy and our guests loved him. Highly recommend!

  A Punk's Ideal Wedding Guitarist

  From start to finish Sean was professional, easy to work with, responsive, and flexible with the songs he would cover. Not to mention his fee is extremely reasonable for the excellent quality of his performance. We hired Sean to play an acoustic set at our outdoor wedding Cocktail Hour and we could not have been happier with our decision to do so. We wanted to incorporate our taste in music along with some crowd-pleasers and Sean absolutely nailed it. He has a library of bangers that he can dish out but was also very willing to learn a few new ones for us to make it even more special. Some of our guests enjoyed him so much that they booked him for another party.

  Sean and Jack made our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour so perfect. I found Sean through the wedding websites back in 2019, and we went to NJ to go see him play and were instantly convinced he had to be at our wedding. Our 2020 wedding was canceled because of Covid, but Sean stuck with us for nearly two years through postponements and replannings until we were finally able to have an intimate restaurant ceremony and party in fall 2021. Sean learned two songs at our request (Smashing Pumpkins and Radiohead), and sent us those and one other ceremony song pre recorded so we could listen beforehand. It’s so special that I have those to keep forever. He and Jack were such a unique and beautiful addition to our ceremony, and during cocktail hour everyone was like “they’re playing all of my favorite songs!” Sean is the best , so hire him now.

  Sean was an absolutely amazing vendor - in the words of our best man, he was the best vendor we had. Sean was responsive and professional, and provided a heartfelt experience for the day of our wedding. He took the time to learn 2 additional songs for our ceremony, which we will be forever thankful for. He was such a wonderful addition to a last minute pivot on our wedding. He was patient with us as we made our decisions, and was available to answer questions at any time. We would highly recommend Sean for anyone in need of a musician for their wedding celebration or any other celebration.

  Sean was such a pleasure to work with! We had a small wedding, with 16 of our immediate family members in Vermont. We wanted to have fun music, but since it wasn't going to be a huge wedding, we wanted a more relaxed vibe. Sean totally understood the vision and matched it perfectly. He was gracious enough to include learning our wedding song and first dance songs! The wedding was outside, and it did end up raining a few times, so he wasn't able to use his equipment. He ended up playing acoustic a few times and it was beautiful. And the end of the night, the rain stopped our families were out dancing under the stars. It was the perfect night and Sean was a huge part of making it that way!

  My now husband and I originally booked Sean to play during our cocktail hour for our 2020 wedding. We ended up having to postpone our wedding to 2021 due to COVID-19 and Sean was extremely understanding, flexible, and easy to work with. He's just a friendly, kind, and very professional guy! It was truly a pleasure working with him. We ended up having Sean play during our cocktail hour on our new date, and he also brought along a stand up bassist, which really took the performance to the next level! The reason we booked Sean was because he has a really eclectic song list to choose from - all the wedding classics, but also artists like Tyler Childers and local artists like Gaslight Anthem and Brian Fallon which we and our guests really loved. I couldn't recommend him more!

  Great Musician - Perfect for our Wedding.

  Sean Tobin was great to work with. We had to change our reception date due to covid and he was flexible and able to accommodate all of the changes we asked for. He was the perfect addition to our cocktail hour and really started the night off great. He accommodated any of the songs that we wanted to hear. I definitely recommend Sean for your upcoming event.

Sean learned multiple songs by request for our ceremony and sent them to us before hand for approval. They were perfect! He set up in multiple spaces for us the day of but everywhere he played he sounded amazing. We would definitely book Sean again for a party and recommend him for any other wedding/cocktail hour/ or any event!

  Incredible Voice and Person

  We were one of the many Corona Couples that postponed their BIG wedding 2x! Though we moved the BIG party we decided love wins and hosted a small ceremony with only our immediate family at the Barnegat Lighthouse. Despite our original plans being derailed this was still the most important day of our lives and in order to make it special I wanted to hired a very specific sounding acoustic guitar player. I admit this was the hardest vendor to find next to my photographers, until I found Sean! We talked about the songs I wanted, he sent me MP3 versions of him singing and playing and the stars aligned. On the day of the wedding he came very well dressed and handsome with a perfect setup on the water. He played "Just Breathe," - Pearl Jam- as I walked down to my groom and "Jersey Girl," -Bruce after we said our vows and danced on the ocean front! It was absolutely perfect and we intend to recreate this for our BIG wedding next year! Highly recommend Sean!

  We were one of the many Corona Couples that postponed their BIG wedding 2x! Though we moved the BIG party we decided love wins and hosted a small ceremony with only our immediate family at the Barnegat Lighthouse.
