Beyond happy to have chosen Sea Watch for our intimate wedding! The location is absolutely gorgeous, the food was delicious and the staff wonderful. I keep getting compliments from all our guests about how amazing everything was and how did I find this place!!
We were in the Captain's Room which was a perfect size for our party of 50 with plenty of room to dance and move around (and we danced all night!!)
Cara, the events coordinator, was a pleasure to work with and present from start to finish on our wedding day. She worked closely with our DJ, flower crew and photographer to make sure everything was perfect!

Working with the wedding coordinator, was a breeze. My family has been coming to this restaurant since I was a child and our wedding there was very sentimental and sweet. The quality of service was perfect. The food and drinks were delicious and everyone loved it. The room was intimate, lovely, classy, and rustic. They were very accommodating and kind to all of us. I would highly recommend. They coordinated all of the services we hired to work perfectly on the day of the wedding, and they had great recommendations for the florist, photographer, and DJ, all of whom have worked in this venue before and do great quality work. Not to mention that this venue is on the beach so the view is lovely! They know what they are doing here.

Our wedding ceremony at Sea Watch on the Ocean was an absolutely beautiful site for our wedding!! We had our ceremony outside on the lawn next to the beach, it was more than what I could have asked for! The staff was very accommodating, professional and they were there every step of the way. After the ceremony we took pictures on the beach and the location was postcard perfect! We went inside for dinner and the food was amazing!! The restaurant was so cozy and beautiful, our guests loved it!! I was so happy with the entire evening! I will have the best memories of our wedding because Sea Watch did such a fantastic job! !

I had an awesome experience planning my wedding at Sea Watch on the Ocean. I was looking for an affordable venue with good food & good service that offered a beach ceremony option and that is EXACTLY what we got. In fact, we got more than we expected. Penny is so good at communicating and getting RIGHT back to you whenever you have questions. I planned a destination wedding, having never been to the venue before, so you can imagine I had LOTS of questions. Penny was always patient and gave me advice on a number of occasions which saved us money in the end. She was also flexible when it came to me personalizing our wedding, but if she had to decline a request, it was for good reason. Sea Watch is in a touristy part of town, but there is plenty of free parking for your guests. Another plus.

The Captains Room is a beautiful, intimate space with wonderful views of the ocean. We had a sand ceremony. You can also choose a lawn ceremony, which is a little closer to the building. There is no sound on the beach so you will have to provide your own.

I can not put into words how beautiful our wedding ceremony was. The weather was awesome on that day, thank God. I would happily recommend Sea Watch if you're looking to have an intimate wedding. And the food is delicious! The seafood was melt in your mouth, mm mm good. Our guests kept raving about how much they enjoyed the food and dessert trays!

I am from PA and I have never been to the Sea Watch in Ft Lauderdale. I saw the reviews on wedding wire and gave it a try and I'm thrilled I did. Penny (banquet Mgt) went above and beyond to help me choose this place. She sent me everything I needed via email and fax. Easiest process ever. She was very quick to get respond to emails or calls. At the reception she kept making sure everything was to my liking . She is the best. I highly recommend the Sea Watch for a small intimate wedding. We had 30 people but the room accommodates up to 60.

I just had my wedding on April 9th 2011, and I couldn't wait to write this review because the Seawatch exceeded all of my expectations, if I could give them all 6 stars I would! They were fantastic in every way. They are a wonderful venue for any bride looking to have an intimate wedding on the beach (the reception room fits 50 max), and they are extremely reasonable in price. The location is gorgeous and wonderful for pictures. The waitstaff were fantastic and all of my guests commented on how efficient and pleasant they were, the food was great. The hugest plus to me was Penny, the catering and event director, who was wonderful. Every time I had a question she got back to me immediately, she was great to work with and made the entire wedding day flow very smoothly. I know I didn't need to worry on my wedding day because Penny was there taking care of everything. Very good service and food!! I wanted to have an intimate oceantfront wedding while not spending LOTS of money and I think this restaurant was the best choice. The food was not only excellent, but the waiters, waitresses were very professional and nice. Penny, the wedding's coordinator for the restaurant, helped us a lot, even finding another vendors. If you want to have an intimate wedding with good seafood and in a very cozy place...this is the place to book. Go check it out...and spend the extra money in a wonderful honeymoon!! ;)

Penny was great and so was the Seawatch. We had a small wedding with amazing food and location for pictures at the Seawatch. This is the perfect place for a small wedding and would highly recommend it, we had 55 guests and due to the size of the room I would not recommend a larger party.

We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful ceremony and the reception service was impeccable. I have been to many weddings and I know how hard it is to get 50 dishes out at the same time. I was delighted to see the food actually arrive hot to the tables. The appetizers were a big hit and the meals were delicious and exquisitely presented. The staff was on top of everything and made sure that our guests with food allergies were taken care of.

The venue is simply spectacular with gorgeous ocean views both outside and inside the hall.

Sea Watch made our Wedding Day a dream come true. We'll be forever grateful to Cara, Penny and the rest of the staff for their hard work and dedication.

First and foremost, Penny was AMAZING to work with. Planning a long distance wedding was TOUGH but she answered every question I had, recommended other venues, and did everything she could to help me out, I was so grateful! We held just our reception here.. The venue was BEAUTIFUL!!! Not being able to see it until the day before the wedding was nerving, but it was perfect, the views were unbelievable and didnt even look real!! I couldnt have asked for a better day or a better place it was wonderful!!! One thing I was not happy about, many of my guests left early, we did a cash bar (besides a few purchased bottles of wine) and they brought the checks out to my guests at 2:30 when the reception wasnt over until 4. I was upset about this and it didnt make sense.... that it the only thing I would change!

Penny the banquet manager was great! The beach view was pretty. The food was delicious and the lunch portions was perfect. The house salad was awesome! I can not say one bad thing about this place. I would definitely recommend it!
