Stephen was amazing and really captured the spirit of our wedding. He was able to blend leading us in the traditional poses with getting really fun candids and dancing. He even made the great suggestion of sunset photos at a beautiful spot at the venue. We love all the photographs and have received so many compliments on them. As an important side note, he delivered them in a very timely manner and an easy to view/download mechanism. Thank you so much Stephen!!!! -

I am obsessive about photos so when my husband and I started planning our destination wedding in Maine, the first thing I searched for was a photographer. I wanted someone highly skilled with a fun personality that also understood our love of capturing the priceless candid moments of our day. I found Steve here, on Wedding Wire, and after browsing his images and reading his bio I was certain we had found our photographer! A phone conversation later and my Stephen (the hubby) and I thought Steve is perfect! Added bonus that his name was Stephen for some extra confusion 😂
Steve did an amazing job on our day and all of our family quickly loved him! His images....SO PERFECT! We cannot thank you enough Steve! The next trip to Maine that we take we are going to have to get with you for photos again!!! -

Personal paparazzi with extras
We hired Steve to take photos of our June 2022 wedding and are thrilled with the work. I've heard about celebrities hiring personal photographers to take candid shots of them looking good throughout the day and having Steve felt like that. This isn't to say that our portraits didn't turn out great, a few of my favorite shots are posed and have the classic wedding vibe, but the bulk of my favorites are moments where we/our guests didn't even realize we were being photographed. This leaves us not with just some pretty photographs, but with stills of our wedding that capture the mood and emotions of the people in the photos.
As someone who always feels awkward posing for a camera, I was really nervous about being photographed all day. Steve made us feel comfortable, we barely realized he was there, and the resulting photos are ones we will cherish for years to come. -

Steve captured our wedding in a beautiful, editorial style!
We were super happy to have had Steve capture our wedding celebration! The communication beforehand was super smooth and thorough. On the day itself, he was flexible with all our last-minute requests and changes. We had a lot of "uncommon" photo ideas that he mostly rolled with easily, giving us some nice candid moments during our portraits session. The pictures came out beautifully and, most importantly to us, the editing looked very natural! He kept the colors vibrant and lifelike, exactly how we remembered the vibe to be at our big day. -

Destination: Awesome!
Stephen was awesome! I recommend anyone in the area or way off (like me here in Tennessee) to use him! He was great with working with my very unorganized and laid back small destination wedding. The photos that were captured delivered the greatest memories from our special day! We didn’t meet until right before our ceremony, but yet he had planned and gotten enough detail beforehand that he was able to deliver the perfect portraits! To say I am pleased with his work would be an understatement! Awesome photographer! -

Couldn't imagine the day without Steve (our INCREDIBLE photographer)
Steve was a calming and integral part of our intimate wedding experience. The photos are stunning.
Each location and chapter of the wedding had a slightly different feel as the light and vibe changes. Steve preserved each of the emotions: trepidation, excitement, reverence, relief, and pure joy. There were smiles, tears, laughter, eating, and so much dancing. Steve worked overtime on the dance floor to capture some of the most fun moments of the night. Apparently, I hit my friend in the face with the bouquet… and Steve captured it all! We’ll have these memories for a lifetime.
Clearly, I’d recommend Steve to anyone looking for a professional, laid back, and deeply invested photographer. -

I reached out to Steve when we started planning our wedding (pre-pandemic) because he and I had worked together on another project and knew many others who have worked with him in the non-profit world. He is so well-liked, valued, and respected for the work he does outside of his day job.
We put Steve through the wringer when it came to wedding plans. Due to the pandemic we had to push back our wedding date, change the venue, and adjust all expectations, Through it all, Steve was there, rolling with the punches, and just being calm (which is what we needed).
We ended up hosting our wedding at our camp which is on an island in the middle of a lake. We subjected Steve to traveling by boat between islands while we were getting ready. If he was nervous about anything, he never let on. As the day went on, he really became one of the family. While some people want their photographer to blend in with the background, Steve had no such chance with our families. While being subjected to constant conversation, he was able to capture so much happiness! I felt so bad because there was little to no organization to what I had in mind or wanted for photos. But that didn't hinder Steve. He was able to organize and capture portraits of our very blended families, along with beautiful snapshots of the whole day. On top, he was able to capture stunning photos of our camp which was so special because we have put so much work into it over the years.
I am so pleased with all of our photos as is our whole family. It was the first wedding held at this island that hold so much sentimental value to our family. Not only do we have these wonderful memories, we have these beautiful photos to share in the reminders of that day. -

Flexible & Accommodating
Steve was extraordinarily flexible during a very strange time. Due to COVID and protests we decided to hold our wedding in our back yard at the last minute. Steve was very accommodating and despite only 8 of us from an originally planned wedding of 100+ Steve was able to deliver a creative and interesting set of photos. And, he kindly offered to take additional wedding photos on another day at no additional cost in the location where we had originally planned to get married. That was truly above and beyond. -

Stephen was absolutely wonderful to work with -- professional, kind, creative -- and his photos show it in every detail, every bit of light, every smile. We could never have dreamed to have such a beautiful photo-journalistic account of our special day as we did. While it all still feels like a dream, we have the most wonderful memories of it to look at every day.

From the moment we had a beer with him discussing what was most important to us come wedding day, we knew he would do an incredible job! And he more than delivered! We were incredibly comfortable with Stephen on the day of our wedding and he captured all the moments we would have hoped for but also all the emotions and small meaningful interactions we missed. He has an incredible eye! When we look at our wedding photos, we get every single feeling back from that day! Thank you so much for our photos! They will forever remind us of all the joy we felt on 10/7/17!
