Scranton Cultural Center Reviews

My husband and I decided on a longer engagement in order to have our reception at the Scranton Cultural Center. We knew that we loved the ballroom and history of the building from day one. However, the SCC surpassed our expectations. The entire staff, especially Erin and Maria, are so personable, friendly and professional. They took care of every detail that we discussed beforehand- layout, champagne flutes, bar service, wine served at dinner, entrance, first dance, lighting- you name it and they had it covered. The staff also work extremely well with all other vendors. The Scranton Cultural Center was the perfect place for our wedding reception and we could not be happier!

This venue is amazing! We got so many compliments on the beauty and uniqueness of our venue! Erin at Scranton Cultural Center was a huge help with everything related to the venue and planning of the event! Couldnt have been happier :)

Scranton Cultural Center is wonderful! It is truly a magical place to have your wedding. When we first walked into the ballroom at our first meeting we were hooked! Erin was a great help in planning the wedding. She had worked many times with our caterer and together they created an amazing, fluid, spectacular and delicious event! We loved it there, it was perfect.

The only little hitch is that we seem to be missing a box of decorations that we brought there, filled with candles, favors, a hand painted bird that has gone missing. They weren't anything too valuable, but we were hoping to reuse them or sell them! And it's a bummer to be missing the bird, we only have one lonely dove now! But even with this little err/bummer I would still have it at the SCC! I wouldn't have changed that for anything!
