We used Scott’s Garden for our ceremony and reception. We loved the place and fell in love with the delicious food! We had the best coordinator, Katie C., she understood everything we wanted for our special day and more. She even helped with setting up on the day of! She even helped me meditated when I was freaking out. All our family and friends complimented how beautiful the venue was. We absolutely loved the place and enjoyed the night. We cannot wait to continue to come back to have other events! Thank you Scott’s for making the beginning of my next chapter so awesome!Sent on 10/30/2017

Scott's is an amazing venue if you are looking for that gorgeous intimate setting for approximately 100 people and a "one-stop-shop". Scott's has a Garden Room in the back of their restaurant that is tented with lights. We conducted our ceremony right upstairs from the Garden room that is outside, with music, trellis and after became our cocktail and hors d'oeuvres setting. Guests are then ushered downstairs into the Garden room for a fantastic meal (all of our guest commented on how great the food was). Scott's also referred me to the vendors they did not provide(DJ, Photographer, Bakery) and I used all of their suggestions which turned out flawlessly. Scott's also has an in house florist. My flowers were beautiful which made the décor for the ceremony, party, corsages, bouquets, and cake. Everything was fantastic! I would highly recommend.Sent on 01/30/2015

My husband and I knew the minute we walked into Scott's that we wanted to get married here. They offered us a tour where we were able to try the food - appetizer, lunch, dessert, wines, coffee. We loved the food and loved the venue and decided on the spot we were getting married there.Sent on 11/21/2013
We had 90 guests and had both our ceremony and reception in the garden. Our guests were upstairs for cocktail hour while the room was turned over. I would not recommend very many more guests as we were a perfect fit. I have received rave reviews from all of my guests about the food and its quality. The dance floor was a little small because we had a lot of people dancing.
Our food came out of a separate kitchen downstairs and we were all served by a waitstaff. I thought this was really classy.
The value was great and I felt like they worked with us to stay within budget.
The last thing I would like to add... a month after we booked them as our venue, we went there for brunch. we mentioned to our waiter that we were getting married there casually in conversation. At the end of our delicious brunch, some of the staff came over to thank us for our business and comped our brunch for us. I thought that was a really nice gesture and really made us feel important.

My wedding guests at the Blackhawk Museum raved about how good the food was during cocktail hour and the reception. We had salmon, chicken, and beef (as well as a kids meal option). I heard from many of my guests they cleaned their plates and could have definitely gone for seconds.Sent on 08/01/2013
Even more enjoyable was the Chocolate Velvet cake that was served during the wedding cake cutting. Some of my guests are still talking about how delicious that cake was.

We haven't stoped getting compliments from our guests on how great the food was. It goes to show you that you do not need to have a steak option for a sit down dinner to be great, our guests enjoyed a parmesean crusted chicken, salmon stuffed with spinach or veg wellington, all of which were delicious!Sent on 05/07/2013

Scott's Seafood Restaurant in Walnut Creek was the perfect venue for us to have our wedding. The staff was wonderful both before and during the wedding. We got so many complements about the food, everyone really enjoyed their meal. The venue for both the ceremony and reception was fabulous, beautifully decorated and set up, very tasteful and not overdone. They were so accomodating, the evening went off without a hitch. We would definitely recommend Scott's to anyone planning a wedding or big event.Sent on 04/02/2012

As soon as my fiance and I walked into Scott's Garden, we knew this was the wedding venue of our dreams. We attended the luncheon hosted by the catering staff and were blown away by the hospitality we received that was unlike any other venue we had visited. The food was phenomenal and they gave us great information. We began working with Keisha O'Shea, and booked our wedding there shortly after.Sent on 05/29/2015
Keisha was incredibly helpful and responsive throughout the entire process. She helped us every step of the way and ensured us that our day would be perfectly executed.
The day of our wedding Keisha greeted us and was incredibly attentive to all of our needs. She visited me and my bridesmaids in the bridal suite and ensured we had champagne. The venue looked beautiful for the ceremony and the staff transformed the space quickly for our reception and did an amazing job. As soon as the ceremony was over the staff made sure we had whatever drinks and appetizers we needed as we took a moment to relax before the ceremony. For our cocktail hour we chose the pancetta wrapped prawns, crab cakes, Asian spring rolls, grilled cheese, and the sliced tenderloin. All were very delicious. Dave attended to us during our reception and made sure my husband and I had everything we needed. Our guests enjoyed either the Imperial Salmon or Parmesan Crusted chicken breast. Both received raved reviews from everyone. The servers were amazing and made sure that no glass was empty. Service was quick as well as we moved from course to course and the bartender made great drinks very quickly. We also ordered the sheet cakes from Scott's to serve and no one knew they were not from a very high end bakery. They were DELICIOUS.
Every single part of our ceremony and reception went perfectly. Highly recommend Scott's Garden for any wedding or celebration. We are already trying to figure out what the next event is we can have there!

Scott's was a WONDERFUL place to have our wedding. They provided everything from the venue, food, drinks, flowers to exceptional service! Everyone to this day is still complimenting how the garden looked with our tables all decorated and how delicious the food was. If you're looking for your wedding/reception all in one location, Scott's is perfect. It's elegant, romantic and beautiful. I would also reccomend getting married in the Fall months, as the weather is perfect for an outdoor wedding. The staff was professional and addressed our every needs. They provide a complimentary lunch for those wanting to "try before you buy". We had a wedding reception of 120 guests, and TRUST them when they say that many will fit. It looked like it would be tight, but it actually worked out perfectly, they've done this so many times, they really know their stuff and how to arrange the room to accomodate all your guests! I would HIGHLY reccomend this location for all of your wedding needs.Sent on 07/07/2008

I got married in Scott's Garden. The set up was beautiful, and there were tons of oportunities for amazing pictures. The food was amazing and the flower arrangements were incredible, but both were over priced. Our director of events was great up until the day of the wedding. She left right after the ceremony and my family ended up cleaning up the dining area after the reception. At the end of the day, things weren't exactly perfect, but I loved the over-all results.Sent on 12/27/2007

Scott's is a BEAUTIFUL place to get married. It's a nice restaurant with incredibly delicious food in their catering department but the service leaves MUCH to be desired. The setting in the garden was beautiful but given that it's a pretty pricey restaurant I would have expected better service the day of our wedding. None of the servers spoke English which would have been fine if I (the bride) wasn't the only one who could translate. The linens were filthy because apparently they didn't have enough clean ones to cover all of the events they had scheduled that day so we just had to "deal with it". The coordinator was great but did leave early. The servers never returned our cake stand so we lost the deposit on that and even though it was their fault; Scott's did nothing to compensate us. They already had our money so didn't really care to help us after the fact.Sent on 06/05/2011
Overall, I'm not sure that I would recommend this place to any friends and/or family who might have considered getting married there (unless you can overlook the afore mentioned items, should they happen on your big day) but we had a great wedding and aside from the things that were out of our control (especially the TERRIBLE service we received the night of) we had a fantastic time. The setting was beautiful, our DJ was fun and we had great weather.
