Fantastic music and vendor experience!

Amazing music and beyond that Scott was extremely responsive, organized, and professional. He even offered to learn a new song for us so it was the perfect music for our ceremony. A huge hit with us, our families, and our guests! Would HIGHLY recommend!

Scott and his music were a wonderful part of our wedding!

We had Scott play guitar at our wedding during cocktail hour at the Society Room of Hartford during the holidays, and it was the perfect touch. The live music added such a classy, festive vibe and fit the historic space beautifully. He was professional, easy to work with, and we got so many compliments—highly recommend!

Flawless- highly recommend

We hired Scott to pay music during Cocktail hour and dinner for our microwedding. I only wish I had more time to listen to his beautiful music! Scott was amazing, and I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a guitarist. I looked forward to hiring him as soon as I saw his sample work on his webpage, and his live performance was just flawless. The music was so beautiful!

Scott was such a perfect addition to our wedding reception! He kindly and professionally communicated with me throughout every stage of the planning process and was highly reliable. He played a variety of different pieces and offered to learn new music specifically for our event. Our guests were raving about him and his talent all night! Wow! What a Talent!

We hired Scott for our intimate outdoor wedding ceremony at Thacher Park on 8/12 and we do not regret it one bit! From the beginning, he was kind, accommodating, and responsive! Scott also learned a new song for us to play as I walked down the aisle and it was just PERFECTION. He matched the vibe perfectly with his guitar skills and even his outfit. Set The Tone For A Beautiful Day

Hiring Scott to play during our wedding was one of the best planning decisions we made! Scott is extremely responsive, very organized, and was able to accommodate all of our song requests, which helped personalize our ceremony. My only regret is not hiring him to play for cocktail hour as well! His lovely music made a huge impact on our day, setting the tone for what turned out to be one of our favorite days ever!

Wonderful ceremony music

We had Scott perform all the music for our wedding ceremony in June, 2022 after postponing a year due to the pandemic. He was incredible! Our guests loved the pre-ceremony music, and he beautifully performed our processional and recessional songs which were really meaningful to us. Scott was so easy to work, highly communicative, and professional throughout our two years of wedding planning. We appreciated his adaptability and responsiveness.

Wonderful music for ceremony and cocktail hour

We hired Scott for our wedding to perform ceremony and cocktail hour music. He was wonderful to work with and we really appreciated his flexibility after we had to reschedule our wedding 3 times (thanks covid!). He worked with us to find the right music and had a huge variety of different songs and styles to choose from, from traditional to classic rock. He was also incredibly helpful with the ceremony, providing a mic and stand for our officiant. We can't thank him enough for helping to make the day perfect!

perfect live ceremony music

Scott did a wonderful job with our ceremony music. We picked one song from his list on his website for our ceremony. We wanted two other songs that were not listed as songs he knew for our ceremony and he was very willing and happy to learn those two other songs which he played beautifully during our ceremony. I am so happy we chose Scott to play live for our ceremony over audio recordings. It added an extra something special to our day and made it feel even more personal. During the planning process Scott was incredibly responsive, professional, and kind.

Beautiful Music

We hired Scott to play during the ceremony and reception at an intimate wedding in Lake George, NY. Leading up to the wedding, he was quick to reply to any emails and he was flexible with some last minute changes. He learned to play two special songs for us, which he played during the processional and recessional of the ceremony. It meant a lot for us to hear our favorite songs during such a cherished moment. During the reception, Scott's music was beautiful and it helped create the atmosphere we had envisioned for our special day. He was also incredibly kind and highly professional. We would hire him again in a heartbeat!

Beautiful guitar matches scenic venue

Scott played guitar for the ceremony and cocktail hour during my fall wedding in Southern Vermont. Scott’s music was the perfect complement to the wonderful fall foliage of Vermont’s mountains. Many of our guests commented on the beauty of Scott’s music.

Scott did an incredible job learning and performing two songs for our ceremony: The Beatles’ “With a Little Help from My Friends” and The Talking Heads’ “This Must Be the Place.” He also played an excellent rendition of “Canon in D” for my wife’s processional. I couldn’t have asked for better music to match the memorable day.

Scott was extremely professional and communicative. He provided his own equipment, answered all emails in a timely fashion, and arrived early. Thank you, Scott!

Everything went perfectly

Music was absolutely perfect for before, during and after the ceremony. Scott was very responsive when planning and also helpful with suggestions. He can play a wide range of music and also learn any song but we went with classics. Listen to / watch his work - you can't go wrong!

Made Our Day Perfect!

Scott was very easy to work with and flexible. My wife and I wanted Disney themed songs for our ceremony and he killed it! Scott also provided us a nice mix of music for cocktail hour. He was a big highlight of our special day. When we had to postpone our wedding, Scott was so easy to reschedule with and made the whole process a lot less stressful! He is not a vendor that you will have to check in on a lot. He is professional and organized!

Kind, easy going and the music was perfect

We got married in a tiny covid style backyard ceremony just this past weekend. Scott was responsive and professional throughout the planning process, showed up on time and absolutely MADE the atmosphere. His music was so beautiful even neighbors poked their heads out to enjoy it! Scott is brilliant!

Scott is amazing! Scott is very responsive to email and phone. We had no trouble reaching him and talking logistics through. In terms of music, Scott is no doubt talented and a pleasure to listen to. I loved his choices of songs on my wedding and my guests told me how wonderful he was after. We asked Scott to learn a song for us, and despite asking him so late, he made an arrangement for us and gave it to us after. Please don't hesitate to hire him!

Excellent and very talented guitarist

Scott Sanchez played classical guitar music at the reception for my son and his new bride on 10/19/19. Scott was very easy to work with, very talented, and very accommodating. Fees were reasonable, especially for the extremely beautiful music that he provided. The music was at a perfect volume--it could be easily heard, but not overpowering. One of our guests is a nationally known professional pianist and teacher, and mentioned to me that she was very impressed with his musical expertise. In addition to the music, Scott allowed me to use one of the microphones that he had set up so that guests could make some toasts/roasts.

I would not hesitate to ask Scott to play again at another function in the future.

Wonderful Addition to Our Day

We hired Scott to perform during our ceremony and cocktail hour. I really can't describe how magical it felt for my husband and I when we walked down the aisle, but Scott's playing was a massive part of that magic. All of our guests raved about the guitar and I can confidently say that the live performance added something extra special to our wedding day. Perfect Set for Elegant Cocktail Hour!

Scott was a true gentleman, professional and a true talent. He played for our cocktail hour after our wedding and his playlist and quality of music was un-paralleled! The guests were talking about his music all evening and it truly added to the elegance of our Boston North End wedding. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone-you won’t be disappointed but astounded at his music! You could hear every song, but his music didn't overpower the event, rather added to it. Scott was the perfect choice for our event!

I selected Scott to play at our 50th Anniversary Celebration and I could not have made a better choice! I wasn't certain what I wanted, but knew instantly Scott was it when I heard him play. His music was the perfect complement to our beautiful venue. He is incredibly talented! He was easy to work with, very friendly and flexible. We originally hired him to perform only during cocktails and dinner, but our guests were enjoying his music so much, we asked him to stay an additional hour. I would hire him again in a second!

Absolutely wonderful to work with!

Scott was wonderful to work with. He arranged Bruce Springsteen's Thunder Road, and played it as I walked into my venue. I asked Scott to play non-religious music, Beatles, etc... as guests were arriving, and everyone raved about his selections. I couldn't have asked for more. Scott's music was the absolute highlight of the wedding.

We were really lucky to find Scott Sanchez to play for our son's rehearsal celebration! Not only was he totally professional but he added so much to the occasion. Scott deserves a 10 star review. He was such a delight to work with planning my wedding, and then he delivered a perfect set the day of. I asked him to learn a song that didn't have the sheet music available, so he learned the entire song just from listening to it! Waiting to walk down the aisle, I was brought to tears when I heard him start to play my song. Everyone raved about how fantastic and skilled he was. Mr Sanchez was absolutely fantastic. He was there promptly as he said he would be. His talent shined through and many of our guests complimented us on his music. Anyone would be well advised to have him perform at any function. He continued to play as the guests made their way past the receiving line. This was not in my original request but was very welcomed. If I have an opportunity in the future I will certainly use his service again.

Scott was terrific -- he played at our ceremony and reception. He was always very prompt and responsive to any questions and requests. He was able to accommodate our specific song requests for the ceremony and the vibe we wanted for the reception music (Bossa Nova) during cocktail hour. We asked him to create new arrangements for our processional and recessional songs, both of which originally have lyrics. His arrangements were lovely and did great justice to the songs. In addition to his great musicality, he was professional before and during the wedding. Pre-wedding, he was extremely responsive to any question we emailed to him, and he made great suggestions and gave good advice when asked for his professional opinion. Day of, he arrived early, was dressed formally, and was setup and ready to go with time to spare. All that, and his services are reasonably priced. He's such a skilled player that you can skip the quartet - Scott plays like multiple musicians all in one.

Scott performed at our outdoor wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. He was incredibly professional and easy to work with. Not to mention a wonderful musician! Scott saved the day by filling in after a last minute cancellation by another guitarist and I am glad everything worked out the way it did!

Scott was really an incredible addition to our wedding. While he obviously knows everything about classical, spanish and other areas of music, he also is a very accomplished and talented guy and can play basically anything that you can dream up. My wife walked down the aisle to the beatles, and we exited to bob marley - and he played a host of melodic and engaging tunes all around this. The cocktail hour was great, and his selections were impeccable - along with his gear (right sound, volume, clarity, etc). And of course, in case it's important to you, he was totally clean-cut looking and exceedingly nice!

Scott was the easiest person I worked with for our wedding ceremony! From the gig submission to the day of the event, he was extremely quick to communicate. He arranged our favorite song at no additional charge to play during our ceremony, he showed up very early, brought a battery-powered amp (remote location, no electricity), played beautifully, and was extremely kind. He even sent the sheet music of his arrangement of our song to us after the event. Our guests have musical backgrounds and everyone could tell how talented he is - they sang along to songs after the ceremony as he played for us during picture-taking. We highly recommend Scott for your event!

I was at once struck by the extraordinary talent that Scott possesses when I watched the video of his performance. I knew he would be perfect for our event. Scott confirmed everything, showed up promptly, set up his equipment and proceeded to fill the evening air with his beautiful classical selections. Guests commented at how lovely it was to have such nice background music during our event; not over powering, just special to create ambiance. Scott's performance was the icing on the wedding cake so to speak. Scott Sanchez was asked to perform for a pre=ceremony, ceremony, and during the wedding dinner. Scott was given creative license to choose the music, with the exception of a ceremony choice. Scott was professional and attentive to our emails. Working with Scott was stress free; from the first contact we made he was able to put us at ease. Scott's performance at our wedding ceremony and dinner is still discussed by my friends and family. Vibrant and Emotive- a classical triumph!
Scott performed recently at a an all-class reunion and fall homecoming for a 40-member group of women who had attended Venerini Academy in Worcester, MA from 1950 through present times.The two hour program was intended to be background music for the event, but those attending applauded, and complimented the music and the musician repeatedly during the program.
He played masterfully,and presented a musical program that will long be remembered. His music was inspirational, entertaining, and wholly engaging. His music added a rich dimension to our homecoming and added value to our day. Although he played a single instrument- a classical guitar-there was an orchestral sound and rich resonance in the room as he played. He’s masterful and creative and his sounds ranged from soothing to dynamic to subtle-we enjoyed every note!

My husband and I knew we wanted guitar music for our wedding (during the ceremony and cocktail hour). We listened to samples from several musicians, and Scott Sanchez was significantly better than the rest, yet did not charge a higher fee. (The fees were exactly the same between all of the musicians we considered). We met with him, and he played some samples to get a sense of what kind of music we like. However, he also went above and beyond in many ways. He learned a new (very difficult) piece that was a favorite of my grandfather. He also created a new arrangement for our recessional, at my husband's request. He was very friendly, professional, and took care of all of the logistics and equipment on his own. We didn't have to worry about anything. I would recommend him highly and without reservation to anyone who wants to hire a guitarist. (He also has a wide repertoire with many styles.)

Scott was a star in every aspect of our wedding. He was very available by email during the planning phase. As we were trying to select the right music, he provided excellent guidance, and he was flexible enough to learn a foreign wedding march for the benefit of my family!
On the day itself, Scott came early - one less thing to stress about - and set up. The music he played as the guests entered was so perfect for the occasion - dreamy yet happy. It provided the perfect backdrop! He also played during the cocktail hour, and our guests provided so many compliments on his performance. I can really recommend him in every aspect.

Scott Sanchez is a gem! He is an incredibly talented musician and so easy to work with. For a very reasonable price, he performed the ceremony music and during the cocktail hour of my wedding. For no additional cost, he even arranged and learned a new song for us. Otherwise, we deferred to Scott's expertise for song selection, and his choices were perfect. Scott never took more than 24 hours to reply to any email or phone call; many times he replied with the hour. He is very professional and an incredible musician. If you are looking for a classical guitarist, hire Scott! He will not disappoint.
