Personable and fun photographer with stellar photos

My venue recommended this photographer, so it was a no brainer for me. It was important for me to go with the venue's choice as the venue is a dimly lit place and I was told that an inexperienced photographer could have issues.
Scott was a breeze to contact, email, and sign the contract. After that, it was just waiting. He did send reminders for the day of before the wedding, which were helpful. Scott showed up on time, if not slightly early, and shot pictures of me, the bride, in my hotel room and throughout the ceremony/reception at the venue. All the guests thought he was great and I'm impressed with all the photos he was able to get of the guests on top of the shots of me and the groom.
The wedding was Nov. 7 and I had pictures 1.5 months later, which I think is amazing- especially for how busy he is! I have a friend that waited 3 months for just the first look photos!
I highly recommend Scott Kelley photography, he was very fun, efficient, and the photos look great!

Stunning Collection!

As mother-of-the-bride, I was delighted with my daughter’s choice of photographer, Scott Kelley. We waited just one month to view his splendid collection of already-proofed photos which recall an evening yet more beautiful than I remember. I couldn’t be happier with our portfolio, and am only too happy that our venue put him high on their list of recommended photographers. Nearly every decorative element was captured; from smartly angled close-ups of festooned specialty tables to such absolutely gorgeous wide shots in the church and ballroom that it makes me wonder where in the heck he stood. Great candid shots of guests! But most importantly, the bride and groom will treasure for the rest of their lives the literally hundreds of beautifully camera-captured expressions of love for one another on this most special of days.

Scott Kelley does amazing work!

We could not have found a better photographer for our wedding ! Scott immediately made us (and our family and guests) feel relaxed and comfortable, and he was practically one of the gang by the end of the evening. His shots were so candid and captured the essence of the ceremony and reception so well that we feel we are reliving our special day every time we look through the photos! We also did our engagement photos with Scott, and we highly recommend this as it was a great opportunity for us to get know him and his great personality before the big day. Thank you so much, Scott!

Engagement shoot

I recently used Scott for my engagement photos and had a wonderful experience. I emailed Scott regarding services and he called me within 30 minutes so we could talk about what I was wanting for the shoot; I was on a strict time frame and he was able to schedule a shoot very quickly that worked with my schedule. Scott is truly amazing to work with, he had so many fun unique ideas while doing our engagement shoot and the final result was AMAZING. We ended up with so many great shots that looked like they were straight out of a bridal catalog. Scott Kelley is very professional and a true artist. I can't wait to use him again at my wedding.

My husband Greg is a photographer, to quote him when he found Scott "this guy knows what he's doing", I have to say my love nailed it. Scott was a pleasure to work with on our wedding day, a couple of little glitches came up during the day and Scott just rolled right though it. I can't say enough good things about him, and like the other couples have said here, his work is beautiful!!

My husband and I could not be happier with Scott and his assistant! Several of our friends commented on his performance, he is friendly and confident in what he makes happen during the day. He almost never sat down all day, he even worked the crowd in the middle of the dance floor, getting the best shots ever! Fast turn around, reasonable prices, highly recommended!!

Scott was a terrific photographer and delightful to be around . He was spot on in capturing the important moments at my daughter’s wedding. I highly recommend Scott . The only problem I had was trying to narrow down what pictures to have him put in the albums since they were all great pictures .

Doug and I could not be more pleased, everything was professional and well done. He and his assistant were seemingly invisible, but always there when we needed them. He does not just sit and wait to be asked to do stuff, he knows what to do and does it. He gives direction in a confident and fun way. Highly recommended!!

I'm very happy with choosing Scott, I am one of those brides with more than average anxiety. He made all my concerns go away, my wedding was smooth and totally awesome. We already have our photos back from the wedding! He also did our engagement shoot and my bridal shoot, definitely more fun than I expected!

We recently had our wedding this past Saturday. Scott and his assistant were absolutely amazing! They were on time, very accommodating and easy to work with. He was available for any questions I had prior to my wedding and responded right away. He preserved our special day in a way that no other photographer could. He had our photos ready very quickly and they are the most beautiful memories captured. I would highly recommend him!

Scott was recommended to us by one of our friends who had used him for their wedding. Scott is reasonably priced and very easy to work with. We were very content with our photos (we had done engagement, bridal, & wedding photos). I very much appreciated Scott's promptness with communication and feedback as it can get frustrating to have a vendor lack in customer service or communication during the whole planning process and hoping he/she shows up! I never had any doubt with Scott and appreciated him showing up early to every event he was taking photos of! Scott is willing to work with his client and what they are looking for. He's a pro for a reason with a good heart! Thanks Scott for everything! :) All of our family and friends have been happy with your final beautiful, everlasting, memorable photos as well as professionalism. He did my wedding, bridal shoot and engagement shoot. I can't say enough about how happy we are with Scott. He got us some incredible teasers two days after the wedding, then all of our images were done 10 days later! He's a true professional and fun to be around!!

He is really good! We were drawn to the quality of his work at first then heard more about Scott through some friends. As we got to know him we found him to be fun to be around and very down to earth. He also speaks up when needed to get things done, and other times we didn't even know he was getting great moments captured when we were unaware! Highly recommended!

If you are looking for a photographer, you've found your man with Scott Kelley. He had our wedding pictures to us pretty quickly after the wedding and the pictures were amazing. Love, love, love. Scott even surprised us by sending me a few 'teaser shots' within a day of the wedding and those photographs are some of our favorites.
Scott took a lot of great posed, formal shots (standard wedding fare)...but also had a ton of fun, candid shots intermingled through out...it was the perfect balance. We can't thank him enough. His photographs took us straight back to the feelings & emotions of that day. He is awesome...very personable and easy to get along with, flexible, and very communicative (before, during, and after the wedding- all so very important). My husband & I have already been singing his praises and highly recommend Scott Kelley. You won't be disappointed.

We loved Scott and his camera! He was just great and not only took great pictures in a venue that was dimly lit, but he was also very friendly and personable to work with. The guests loved him too and told me so afterwards. He was able to capture the happy moments very well and had great ideas of what would look good in pictures. I highly recommend him!

Scott is amaaaaaazing! He took our engagement photos and also our wedding photos. He is so personal and fun, which makes it really easy to relax (which is hard to do when I'm getting photos taken of me). He makes it super easy! The photos turned out gorgeous and he captured our wedding perfectly. We will forever appreciate him for giving us photos of the most amazing day and to have our memories on photos so we can re-live that day for years to come!

Our daughter, Diana, is our treasure. When the time came for her to wed the man she fell in love with, her mother, and I, orchestrated a wedding that would capture our daughter’s spirit and this magical milestone. The one area of that I knew we needed to absolutely get right was the wedding photographer for this joyous event. We chose Scott Kelley Photography and we are absolutely delighted that we did.

Scott Kelley is the consummate professional. Instead of cookie cutter or formulaic approaches to his photography, he very carefully crafts and composes pictures that reflect the true beauty, spirit and grace of his brides and all the celebrants. He does this by listening to what is important to his brides and grooms. Where Scott Kelley excels is in the area of composition as he creatively uses light and color to create a tapestry of memories. Each picture he takes is simply breath taking and can be appreciated as a separate work of art.

However, where Scott Kelley stands out from other wedding photographers is his incessant attention to detail, nuance and continuity. This is best seen in how he orchestrates and assembles the wedding album to commemorate the wedding. He customized the album to our daughter’s exact specifications which involved a number of revisions. Scott and Steph were incredible. We had engagement and bridal shoots before our wedding and even our dog was comfortable with them. We've never been photogenic but Scott managed to get us looking great in our photos.

My husband and I couldn't be happier with Scott Kelley. Not only was he professional but he was so easy to work with; he always has a smile on his face!
Scott and Stephanie flew out to California for our wedding (awesome!) and photographed our reception back in Houston. The photo count must have been right around 1,000 and I don't think there was one photo that we didn't like.
I would recommend Scott Kelley to anyone that wants to remember a special moment in their life.

I had my bridal shoot with Scott Kelley a few weeks back… and, Im fairly certain I couldn’t be ANY HAPPIER with the session – from how comfortable he made me, how beautiful he made me feel, his professional direction when taking the shots, his amazing, fun and OH SO SWEET assistant Stephanie, and the end product of EXTRAORDINARY photographs. I think the exact phrase I used when describing how happy I was with the photos was “BURSTING WITH EXCITEMENT.” It would be absolutely no exaggeration to say that my mom and I spent hours looking through my photographs the night they were posted – each one more beautiful than the next. Not that I needed any MORE confirmation that Scott Kelley is the best in the industry, but these photographs coupled with how wonderful the bridal session went, solidified that fact with me. EVERY bride (and any others who want to capture special moments in their lives) should have the experience to work with Scott Kelley and utilize his exceptional talent. He is an artist – and your photographs will each be works of art. The only trouble I am going to have with my bridal photographs… is deciding WHICH picture of the MANY I want to display! Scott Kelley is also my photographer for our wedding – and I feel so blissfully fortunate! I absolutely cant wait to have him capture spectacular memories for us to cherish for all the years to come :) Thank you thank you thank you, Scott! You exceeded any expectations I had and have kept me smiling from ear to ear! CANT WAIT FOR MINE AND TIMS WEDDING IN MAY!!

Scott and his assistant Steph are amazing people, photographers, and artist. To be completely honest I had a very tight low budget wedding (I'm a teacher). Generally suggestions for low budget weddings say to use a
friend for photography, however, my recently married friends who made this mistake encouraged me to splurge. I am so incredibly grateful that I listened!!! Scott did our engagement, bridal, and wedding portraits. I have an overwhelming amount of favorites from each session. I have received so many compliments from friends, family, and co-workers. Scott and Steph are NOT the type of photographers that get one good shot every once in a while, they actually have a talent for this profession. They made me look beautiful, feel comfortable, and enjoy the time I spent with them. My wedding pictures are absolutely gorgeous and Scott happily let me interupt his meal to take a picture of my father and I outside before the sun went down. Steph is the cutest , sweetest, up-beat, and fun person to be around and makes you so comfortable. I just can't say enough good things about either of them and honestly have nothing negative to say . I am so happy I had the opportunity to work with both of these kind-hearted individuals. My wedding lasted a day but my photos will be around for me to share with future generations and I am so blessed that my photos are amazing and I am proud to share them! Scott and Steph are the best in the business and I HIGHLY recommend them.

Scott is a fantastic photographer, and he and his assistant, Stephanie, make a great team. We loved working with them because they made us feel comfortable and at ease on such a hectic day. Scott was very friendly, personable and was really flexible. He made sure we got the photos we wanted, and was really easy to work with. It was like having a family friend taking our photos. Scott also *really* helped at the end of the night when we realized sparklers were missing for our exit. He helped calm my wife's nerves and coordinated (on his own) an exit that looked even better than the sparklers!

Scott Kelley photographed a couple of my friends' past weddings and did a fantastic job, so it only made sense to contract Scott for our various wedding photos. He shot our engagement photos, my bridal portraits, and the entire wedding day, and words cannot describe how beautiful his work is. He is very personable and easy to work with, which made things very easy when a bride already has a million things on her plate to worry about. We cannot wait to get our wedding albums back from him!

First of all, I want to say Scott Kelley is awesome!! After I hired him, I kept having to switch my wedding date and venues and he was understanding and professional about it...he made everyone in all of his pictures look like they belong in a magazine! He got all of our pictures available to view online within a few days, and we got our CD in a little over a week. He is fantastic and if I ever need any photography services, I won't go anywhere else! I'm so impressed with him I'm saving to pay for my niece's maternity photos so she can have them done by him!

Scott turned out to be one of the best parts of our wedding. He arrived at the hotel the day before our wedding and was ready and waiting when we left on Saturday for our wedding venue. He spent most of the afternoon with us and got some great pictures that really captured the essence or our wedding. He also maintained a very calm and collected demeanor which helped our wedding party stay relaxed. I don't know how he does it but he was somehow able to be everywhere he needed to be to get all the necessary shots without ever getting in the way or distracting from the ceremony. In fact, I don't even remember seeing him during the service! His creativity also helped create some beautiful pictures of my husband and me walking through a vineyard immediately after the wedding. Every time I look back at our pictures I remember exactly how I felt on my wedding day. The emotion, the fun, the celebration has all been perfectly captured on film. I don't know how to thank Scott enough!!

Scott is an AMAZING artist and photographer! I can't believe these photos are from my own wedding--they look like they are right out of a magazine! My bridal portraits were exquisite, our engagement photos captured our love and personalities, and the wedding photos are beyond incredible. I will always look back on my special day with love and happiness, and somehow Scott took that love and happiness and made it even more beautiful! the WONDERFUL Scott Kelley is not just a photographer... he is an artist! He captured anything and everything I imagined and more! From engagement pictures, bridals, to the wedding day... absolutely lovely and fun to work with! So kind, friendly and flexable... On the day of our engagement shoot we had forgotten my top for one of our outfit changes and HE drove us to our home to go get it! He goes above and beyond and it shows. If you are looking for an exceptional photographer that will deliver outstanding shots while being a comfortable joy to work with... He is your guy! On the wedding day his lovely assistant was great too. He is the perfect balance of listening to what you want, yet confident in what he knows is best. Pictures last forever... He is worth every penny!!! :)

There were SO many photos taken during the ceremony and the reception, however I only noticed the two photographers maybe one or two times. And the proofs are wonderful. The only difficult part is choosing which photos I want to order! Many thanks to Scott Kelley!!

Scott is a true professional. He does not take photographs, he creates treasured memories. He is very informative, provided us with lots of documentation, practical advise and consulted with us on how to make the most of our photo sessions and photographs. His photography is art as he captures feelings, emotions, movement. He creates great balance between nature, subjects, surroundings and light. He is also fun to work with and has a great ability of putting people at ease. We feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with Scott and hope to have Scott capture many more memorable events in our lives.

Scott is an exceptionally talented photographer with the rare ability to take pictures that are not only stunning to look at but also engage you on an emotional level.

Unlike the flat 2-dimentional photographs that most wedding photographers produce, Scott is able to capture the energy, the joy and the excitement of the day, as well as those precious moments of tenderness and warmth. With his unique style, he creates images that are alive and deeply moving, memories not only of how everyone looked but, much more importantly, what they were feeling, their mood and their experience, something that cannot be conveyed by most traditional photographers.

As an individual, Scott is professional, courteous, very accomodatingand clearly loves what he does with a passion. I was very nervous on the day, especially while taking some "getting ready" pictures but he was very sensitive, constantly reassuring and encourageing me throughout so that any body image issues I had were soon dispelled and I was relaxed and having fun. With his knowledge and experience in the use of lighting, camera angles and textures, he magically transforms any ugly duckling in his focus into a beautiful swan. My now husband still cannot believe those pictures are really me! Thank you Scott!

You did a fabulous job! I just got through them all, and you were spot on in capturing all the great moments. I was especially impressed with the church photos. I hadn't realized you were up in the balcony taking them! I was worried that we wouldn't get any during the ceremony, and you got all of the ceremony highlights. There are far too many great photos to single out at the moment - all I can say is you did an incredible job. You will have my highest recommendation to anyone that I can tell about you or anyone that you would like to refer to me for a recommendation.

We settled on Scott's work after recommendations and then seeing his work at a private showing. He was patient and attentive and open to creative discussions. On the day of the wedding we were very satisfied by his presence and proximity. He captured the moments we wanted and had an excellent eye for the moments we never saw happening. It was a frenzied event taking place inside among 6 rooms and a large outdoor setting, but he didn't miss a beat. I would highly recommend him to anyone searching for a photographer. His turn around time was surprisingly quick, and his delivery methods made it very easy to browse and pick out prints.

Scott did an amazing job - he has a very artistic style and I would highly recommend him to brides. You realize after all, the only thing left to truly remember your wedding by is the photos... and he captured all of the important shots and memories. He responded promptly to all of our questions and emails and was very relaxed...which allowed us to enjoy our evening and get all of our pictures that we needed. Great work and kudos!!

Scott was so much fun to work with at our wedding. He put everyone at ease and wasn't pushy or overbearing at all. Scott and his assistant Kelly were all over the place taking shots that I didn't realize were there. When we got back from our honeymoon, the pictures were already posted online. There were a TON of amazing shots and I'm going to have a hard time narrowing it down to 75-80 for our album! He is really great at capturing emotion and those little candid moments that really show what the 'big day' is all about from all perspectives. Looking through the pictures makes me relive the entire day and I remember how much fun we had (along with all of our guests). I couldn't ask for a more beautiful set of pictures to share with our friends and family! Thank you, Scott!

Scott listened to all my questions and concerns. He took pictures of what I wanted and then took pictures with his creativity, which is the main reason why I hired him in the first place. His art is facinating. I would definitely recommend Scott to any brides I meet.

Scott photographed our engagement, my bridal portraits and our wedding, so we obviously thought he did amazing work! He was fun to work with and caught so many great moments on camera. We would definitely recommend Scott! :)
