We wanted to take a moment to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the incredible work you did through Scarlet Oak Studio in capturing our wedding day.
When we received our photos, we truly cried. Seeing them for the first time was overwhelming in the most beautiful way, and it reaffirmed how grateful we are that we chose Scarlet Oak Studio as our photographer. You didn’t just take pictures—you preserved emotions, moments, and memories we will cherish forever.
For me personally, the photos were especially meaningful. Because I had to stay in the room assigned to get ready at the church, there were parts of the ceremony I didn’t get to fully witness. Scarlet Oak Photography has some of the most talented, yet welcoming people I have met! The studio & their staff do a great job at communicating all the important details for your shoot, whether its a small family shoot or a shoot for a big day, like a wedding, while also keeping the whole process fun and oriented around you.
When it came to the actual photoshoots, they made it so fun! They are willing to do travel shoots (for an extra fee that was fair) and make it a good/fun time, wherever you go. We got our engagement, bridals, and wedding day photos all done with Scarlet Oak and love all of them! The photographers & editors do a great job at adjusting the photos to the style you want, whether you want light/airy, golden sunset vibes, moody/romantic, you name it!
At the end of the day, we felt it was most important to capture memories and the connections we have with loved ones. Scarlet Oak did a great job of capturing that, through both posed and candid shots. Additionally, the staff are great at being flexible, adjusting their style if you have personal concerns/needs, and also managing large groups for big family photos :) We loved working with them and look forward to seeing them around in the future as well! -

Absolutely perfect and flawless day!
Brinton, Colby, and Aaron were the team for our big day and they were nothing short of amazing! They went so far above and beyond what we had expected of them. The communication and coordination was fantastic, they worked together to accommodate all of our requests and more. Our wedding party and family absolutely LOVED them which was another big plus for us. Honestly I’m not sure why you’re still here reading reviews, just hire them already! -

Scarlet Oaks Studio exceeded expectations! The team that was brought for the wedding day was genuinely so excited to video and be involved in the magic. They completely matched the energy of the room whether it was laughing and smiling during the dance party, or serious and sentimental during the ceremony/cake cutting/first dances. They also communicated with my photographer to coordinate their shots. I never had to worry or stress when it came to them perfecting the shots. Amazing team! Amazing studio! I would 100% recommend. -

I have nothing but positive things to say about Scarlet Oak Studio. I became acquainted with them when they were doing my twin brother's sons wedding pictures. I was super impressed with their professionalism, ease, and warmth. Brinton was amazing and even did a couple shots just for me.
When my mother was celebrating her 80th birthday I reached out to see if they could help take pictures of the family. It was on really short notice, but again Brinton and the team came out and were helpful, accommodating and everything you could ask for in some pictures.
We are now using them a third time, all in the same year, for some graduation photos. Upon our visit to the studio, Brinton was again super patient as we went through nearly 400 photos and selected the best ones. What was amazing was they had already gone through and picked out what they thought was the best and then consulted with us to get the best photos available.
As they use "five stars" to pick their best photos, I can only give them "five stars" for their excellent services, prices, professionalism and friendship. I encourage and invite anyone to utilize them for their photography and studio needs. -

Scarlet Oak Studio is absolutely fantastic! As everyone knows, a good photographer is worth everything for your wedding day. Scarlet Oak's unique team structure made ours absolutely magical. Amanda was our photographer, assisted by Cristina. They both were phenomenal. They were extremely helpful, had brilliant ideas, and captured the feel and personality of our celebration perfectly. Before the day, Tanner and Ellie helped make the consultation and booking process incredibly easy. I would say that everyone on their staff is insightful, creative, and professional. Judging by our photo preview, the work is absolutely stunning. I would highly recommended Scarlet Oak Studio for any of your photography/videography needs. -

Best Decision Ever！
Choosing Scarlet Oak Studio for our wedding photos and films was the best decision we have made for our wedding! We spent a lot of time checking Scarlet Oak website and made sure we did our homework before getting into a contract. We love all aspects of the overall process from filling out a personal questionnaire to know us first and understand what we really eager for (they are not just photographers but true storytellers), to scheduling several calls going through the details and ensuring all of our questions get answered, we felt really confident that great value/quality will come with a great price. On the wedding day, the three member team did a fantastic job on capturing all of our once-in-a-lifetime moments. Their keen attention to detail and unwavering professionalism truly stood out. They took the time to understand the significance of our traditional Chinese wedding attire and gave it a special focus. Beyond that, during our Western ceremony, they were like silent observers, yet they didn’t miss a beat, capturing every fleeting glance, every tear shed, and every laugh shared. Every time when we look back at our photos and videos, those lovely moments and happiness come back right away. We feel incredibly lucky to have had them by our side on our biggest day. Highly recommend them to any couple looking for a team that goes above and beyond! -

Loved them!
We used Scarlet Oak Studio for our photo and video on wedding day and absolutely loved working with Brinton, Aaron, and Christina. They were so dang much fun and asked excellent questions prior to wedding day in order to find out and capture what really mattered to us. They were incredible with our crowd and several of the guests commented on how much they enjoyed the photographer and videographer. I was so pleased, and they were so helpful. My primary goal was a stress-free wedding experience, and knowing I could trust them created that for me! I had looked at LOTS of photography/videography websites and what stood out to me with Scarlet Oak is they strive to be artistic storytellers. I wanted to capture the story of our relationship and our beginning as a married couple and they nailed it. And when I posted my video to social media, a friend reached out and booked them the next day. Can’t say enough good about this team! -

There are not enough words to describe how amazing Scarlett Oak (specifically Elli and Aaron) was to work with!!! They were professional, timely, listened to our wants, ensured we got our shot list day of, and so nice and fun to be around all day! We got married two months ago up at Snowbird and our guests are still talking about how fun our wedding photo/video team was :). Elli and Aaron captured our wedding day SO beautifully and took the perfect amount of posed and candid shots, which is exactly what we asked for. I also was pretty particular about the type of video I wanted and they listened to my guidance and nailed it so perfectly. Lastly, they were so FUN to work with and brought great energy to the day :) 10/10 experience and would recommend them to anyone getting married!! Thank you thank you!! -

After doing much research I am so happy we hired Scarlet Oak for our wedding videography! When we were originally looking for vendors we weren’t planning on having a videographer. Thanks to my husband’s mom, who encouraged us to find someone, we ended up working with Scarlet Oak. We had a couple different meetings leading up to the wedding and a thorough questionnaire so they could really understand everything that we wanted to capture. Aaron and Dalton were very professional and made us feel comfortable, in front of the camera. I honestly feel like they made our day even more fun! Post wedding we were excited to receive our videos a little earlier than expected and we were blown away. They captured the vibe of the day which was so important to us. We’ve watched the highlight video several times and it always brings us back to all the feelings and love we felt on our wedding day. Thanks again to Aaron, Dalton and everyone at Scarlet Oak! My husband and I are thoroughly pleased with our decision to entrust Scarlet Oak Studio with our wedding photography. The first contact we made was with Brinton, and he stuck with us through alllll of the wedding prep, the day-of, the photo delivery, and the post-event follow-up. Brinton made himself available to us and took the time to slow down and answer all of our questions. Throughout the entire process, Brinton was never stressed or in a rush, which meant a lot to us considering all of the people that can't help but create stress on a day that should be blissful. And his skill; WOW. Brinton handled tricky lighting situations with ease & finesse and did an incredible job with composition, framing, posing/prompting, etc. We had 35 people in our wedding party, and 50+ in just our immediate family photos. Brinton was unfazed by the number of people, and was incredibly patient when taking shots that included the oodles of tired children.
The folks at the studio as a whole were incredibly warm and friendly, yet professional and organized from the get-go, which calmed our nerves and gave us the confidence we needed to made a decision. Before reaching out to Scarlet Oak Studio, we had narrowed our options down to 3-4 wedding photographers from the 25+ we originally considered. After talking with Brinton during our initial call, I was convinced that Scarlet Oak was the way to go, and I am so glad we did. We cannot recommend Scarlet Oak highly enough. I would send anyone and everyone looking for a photographer to them, without hesitation.
We dedicated half of our wedding budget to photography, and it was worth EVERY PENNY. 10/10 would recommend. -

Scarlet Oak was AMAZING to work with from the beginning to the end
Scarlet Oak was amazing from the very beginning. When I inquired about their packages, the person speaking to me on the phone was so kind and showed how much he cared about my wedding and what kind of package would work best for me. Then, on the day of my wedding, Elli and her assistant did an AMAZING job and made the day so memorable for me. She was so sweet and great to work with. Taking pictures with her felt so comfortable and I could really feel like I could trust her. I also got my photos 2 months earlier than expected, such a fun surprise! If you're on the fence, I highly recommend going with Scarlet Oak and trusting them with your big day, you WONT be disappointed. -

Fantastic Quality and Communication
Scarlet Oak Studio is top notch! My husband and I started planning our wedding 16 months in advance and did extensive research on our vendors. Our wedding theme was country western and we had clay shooting, lawn games, and dancing.
We could not have been more thrilled with our experience. The team was extremely communicative and took the time to get to know us and our vision for the wedding.
We opted for a single photographer and single videographer, which suited our needs as we had a smaller wedding. Brinton was our photographer, Colby was the videographer, and they made a fantastic team!
They kept our guests laughing and at ease, which translated to amazing shots of friends and family. We appreciated that both Brinton and Colby stayed close to us throughout the wedding and captured all of our moments.
We were provided clear timelines before and after the wedding of when we could expect our photos and videos back. Once we had them back we were BLOWN AWAY by the quality.
We would not hesitate to hire Scarlet Oak Studio again for any future events. -

Would recommend to anyone!!
The team at scarlet oak were so easy to work with. When it came down to the little details about the wedding they took care of everything, which made planning my wedding so much easier. They check in regularly and were easy to get in touch with if I needed anything. Brinton took my engagement and formal pictures and they turned out amazing and better than I could have imagined. They picked beautiful locations for me and made me and my husband feel so comfortable while shooting. On the day of my wedding Amanda took photos and Colby did the videography. They both did such an amazing job. They made sure to get a list of priority shots beforehand so the day of I didn’t have to worry about a thing. The photos and video turned out incredible. I’m so happy I get to always look back on those memories. I would recommend scarlet oat to anyone, the quality of their work is absolutely worth it!! -

We got married this year in May with a mix of Indian and Christian wedding. Scarlet Oaks was our photographer, videographer, and drone operator. We finalized them after our initial discussion with Tanner as our vision and ideas aligned with their thought process and we knew that instant that they will capture the beauty of these two weddings perfectly. We met them before the wedding and we went over every detail. They were accommodating of our requests, paid attention to details and they kept a good eye on our hair and make up as we mentioned in the questionnaire. They did an amazing job capturing pictures, capturing films and capturing memories. We had a lot going on, four separate events for our wedding over two days and scarlet oaks did a spectacular job, they arrived on time, stayed late, they were there the entire time, reliable and provided amazing quality. Tanner, Brinton, Marcos and Jose were the dream team at our wedding. They were helpful the entire time, they brought us napkins as we were sweating after our performance, drove us to the venue from our Airbnb, kept a close eye on our makeup, gave good suggestions for pictures from different angles. They were patient with us even when there were delays from our end. They had their big beautiful smiles through every wedding event. Looking at your photographer and videographer's smile automatically makes you smile and brings out even better pictures. They captured all the natural moments brilliantly. They surprised us by editing our pictures and videos early by almost a month and a half!! An amazing surprise after you’ve been eagerly waiting for all the memories to come back! Wedding day is a blur, no matter how much you promise yourself that you’ll take time to enjoy it yourself. It’s truly wonderful having a good team there ready to capture the smiles, the dances, the fun of the wedding! We’re incredibly thankful to scarlet oaks for being there, working tirelessly, and being fun, interactive, and upbeat with us during the entire wedding.

Wedding pictures are a big decision and one that was really important to me. I am absolutely obsessed with how my pictures turned out. From first contact with the sales team, all the way to getting the pictures, I have nothing but great things to say. My initial call was clear, answered all my questions, the packages were a reasonable price, and they did great at explaining the details and the why behind everything they do. They were accommodating and very supportive through the whole process. When you're making 500 decisions for a wedding, it can get overwhelming. Scarlet Oak made it easy and were incredible to work with. They had great communication and simple processes with regular check ins and clear timelines. On the day of the wedding, my photographer Amanda was incredible. She made sure to remember everyone's name and situation (it's a simple thing, but she remembered my new step-son's name and made sure he was included and smiling). She was switching between the two different lenses ensuring the moment was captured perfectly. We used an assistant to help with the lighting and it made a big difference. She made us feel comfortable, at ease, and her number one priority. She had amazing attention to detail, fixing my hair, train, veil for every picture. End results, I couldn't be more happy with them. Beautiful lighting, great use of framing, angles, poses, etc. My husband does photography and he was very impressed by the quality. I would recommend them to anyone. This is one day you do NOT want to have regrets. -

Amazing Experience!

Exactly as the title says, this team is super friendly and enjoys what they do and they are great at it. They saw us through start to finish and answered every question we could come up with.

My husband and I got married in Jackson Hole last year (July 2022) in a 5 day wedding with constant activities, from rafting, to rodeo, to concerts, to welcome party, wedding, after party etc.- stamina was needed for a marathon week for sure. I, to this day, cannot get over how patient, energetic, genuine, lovely, flexible, professional, truly kind, savvy, and unbelievably skillful Aaron, Elli, Tanner and the WHOLE team were. I wasn't the lowest maintenance, to be honest, and they took every tweak to the plan with absolute grace. From the very first call with Tanner, I was blown away with how knowledgeable and streamlined (yet customizable) the packages were and the true value we were able to receive. Little did I know, that was only the beginning. Elli and Aaron shot our engagement photos, proactively scouting the most beautiful locations for us we didn't even know about as locals. Their uncanny ability to capture light in all settings, both still and candid shots, to come up on the fly with ideas, always helping me out with flyaway hairs or wardrobe malfunctions, laughing alongside us with our crazy photo ideas, all the while ensuring we captured every single type of photo and more. They drove all the way from Provo and had the best attitude ever! For the wedding, Aaron rode in a raft WITH our rowdy crew, just to capture all our videos; poor Elli drove all through the national park without service just to get drone photography of us going down the river... now that's above and beyond! The portraits with my family, the speed with which they cranked through our desired shot list at the wedding to protect our time with guests, the way they tactfully managed all family relationships and guest sensitivities, deftly captured the innocent joy of the little kids just as well as the landscape, candid dancing moments, speeches, aisle, etc.- I truly can't believe this level of service, not to mention the best attitude in the world. CANNOT RECOMMEND HIGHLY ENOUGH. I don't say that lightly. For those very discerning for wedding vendors, or for any photography life event, this is your team- full stop. They are now like family, and that's saying a lot. I am so grateful that I found Scarlet Oak studio. We had a small destination type wedding in Utah. We are from of out of state so I was nervous booking someone that I wouldn't be able to meet in person first. However, after the first phone conversation I was immediately put at ease. They asked me a lot of questions about what I was looking for and were not pushy. They were very thorough through the whole process. Before the wedding they went through the whole day schedule and made sure everything would be smooth. When they arrived at the venue on the day of, I was greeted by a smiling Elli while I was getting ready. She assured me to just relax and that they were already getting great shots of the other things going on. When it came time to meet the rest of the team, everyone was so kind and fun. The whole day I felt like they were some of the guests. I was so thankful that I could just sit back and let them do there thing. Our guests commented after about how professional, kind and fun the whole team was. I love our pictures and videos. I would recommend them again and again to anyone who is looking for a quality team. I knew this was the perfect photography studio for our wedding from the moment I read on their website, "You won't find any stylized shoots or models pretending for portfolio here. We're all about meaningful moments, so are our clients." We didn't want a million photos of us, we wanted to look through our photos and relive the memories of a beautiful day with our loved ones. That is exactly what we got! Looking through the photos brings back all the joy and love and laughter of the day, and we will cherish them always. Elli was our photographer, and she was wonderful. She and her assistant worked behind the scenes, capturing moments with a very subtle presence--except when we needed a leader to herd us into the group shots we had requested ahead of time. Working with Scarlett Oak was the best experience! Our engagement photo shoot was honestly the best time and that says a lot coming from a girl who typically doesn't like to have her picture taken. Elli is super talented and she is the best duo with her husband Aaron. They also gave us amazing recommendations for a DJ which alleviated some stress for the rest of planning.
I was extremely impressed with the care they take in planning and making sure you know what you are getting as far as time, prints, and quality. They had questions that I had not even thought of but it made things so easy on the wedding day. Take their advice on just focusing on your significant other during the photoshoot. A lot of love, happiness, and laughter came through in our photos and that is what I love about them.
They also were extremely accommodating when we forgot that we had not ordered prints less than 24 hours before our wedding but were able rush us some and bring them to our reception on the day of our wedding. That was truly amazing.
Marco also did an amazing job as the videographer on our wedding day. We have a super fun wedding video that capture the most amazing moments of our special day and has so many smiles. It is the best reminder of the most important day of our relationship.
Scarlet Oak Studio was a dream to work with and I will recommend them to everyone!!

My experience with Scarlet Oak was seriously perfect, and easily the best decision we made in our wedding planning process. We did a photo / video package, and they were professional but personable the whole way through. I met with them early on to talk about what we were hoping for and what the experience would look like. They also met with me over video call a few weeks before to calm any day of nerves and iron out details. They kept me and the rest of the wedding party / guests laughing and really set a beautiful, lighthearted tone for the whole day. They also worked with me after the fact when I had asked about a few pictures, and quickly followed up which I really appreciated! I would recommend them to anyone, and my husband and I easily say we would book with them again and again. The pictures and video will be something that we look back on for a lifetime. Scarlet Oaks provided an amazing service for our wedding. Leading up to the wedding, they were very clear and cooperative with our vision for our wedding. They were incredibly easy to work with. The day before the wedding, they called and talked with us to make sure we were all on the same page. Marcos and Colby brought amazing energy to the wedding. Additionally, we had Spanish only speaking individuals at our wedding and Marcos was bilingual which helped out tremendously. Additionally, to relieve the stress that we weren’t going to capture every moment based on the original contract, they had reasonably priced add on time. Without this option, we may have missed a couple of moments.
They delivered the videos on time with no issues. The response from multiple friends who have seen the Highlight Video stated that this was the best wedding video they had seen. The video captured every moment of the wedding and the music and editing made it exciting to watch.

My now husband and I are from Illinois and were looking for videographers in Utah for our Mount Zion wedding. Not only is the quality of their final photo and video edits UNBELIEVABLE, but this team showed up for me on my wedding day in such an amazing way. One week before my wedding I had major surgery and couldn't walk. Scarlet Oak seriously hustled all day to make sure I had my wheelchair when I needed it, or quickly hid it away when we were taking photos. Their communication, promptness, and knowledge of lighting and angles is so professional.

Amanda, Marcos, and Jared were such a pleasure to work with! We had an outdoor wedding in June with around 100 guests. They were perfectly on time, and helped me feel extra special while getting ready. Our first look shoot turned out even better than I could have imagined. The team did such a great job capturing me and my husband's love and personalities. Even though it was the middle of the day and super bright during our ceremony, they're editing made our pictures turn out amazing. Not only were they extremely nice and fun to work with, but they rolled with the punches when we had to change the location of our dance floor. After our reception we got to use the remainder of our time on a shoot of me and my husband while we took a break from the hectic day. If you're anything like me, budgeting for a wedding isn't the most fun aspect about the planning process. Especially when you realize how much everything costs. Honestly, I was on the fence about hiring a videographer to capture our wedding day but ultimately made the decision to hire Scarlet Oak Studio and trusted them to do a great job. They completed exceeded all expectations. We were BLOWN AWAY by their videos and since receiving our final highlight video, I've watched it about 30x. It's so magical, Aaron and Dalton are incredibly talented, and not to mention super professional and a delight to be around for the most important day in our lives. Aaron spent time beforehand ensuring he knew what were the most special moments to me or any unique parts that we would incorporate in the day. The guys captured every single important shot that I had hoped they would and MORE.

On our wedding day we worked with Markus and Jared and they were absolutely incredible! My husband and I loved working with these two and they greatly contributed to our day. Scarlet Oak did my wedding videography, and I am pleased with the experience. Elli was my main point of contact, and was very helpful. Day of, Marcos was great! He was very non-obtrusive and captured genuine moments.
We requested a documentary style film edit, because my partner's grandmother was unable to come to the wedding, and we wanted to be able to share a realistic capture of the day with her. We received a highlight video, about 4.5 minutes set to music, plus several longer videos given to us as segments (ceremony (which included audio of our vows), reception, family photos, etc.) We haven't shown it to my partner's grandmother yet, but are excited to.Scarlet Oak Studio's reply:

I could not have asked for a better team to capture my wedding! Going into planning, I knew I wanted my photographer and videographer to be the best and I definitely got it! They made me feel confident and so pretty in every photo and made my husband look natural as well (he can sometimes struggle with photos haha). Not only were they there to capture our big day, but they even acted as friends when I felt like I needed it! Before our ceremony, I was feeling stressed (I know, not surprising) and they quickly took me into my bridal room, shut the door, and asked to take photos as me getting ready and I immediately felt much better being away from all the commotion. They also offered lighting for our dance floor, which I did not think of in our planning and am very grateful they were there! Our experience was completely amazing! We couldn't be happier with how our photos turned out. Amanda came out to Arches National Park with us. I can't recommend Scarlet Oak enough, Tanner did an absolutely amazing job with our video! We have been watching it over and over, and over since he sent it. We couldn't be happier with how the video turned out, he not only captured us so wonderfully, but also captured so many heartwarming moments of our friends and family having a blast that we may not have seen otherwise. It was the perfect blend of starting out sweet with the first look and ceremony followed by high energy fun on the dance floor. We opted for the drone add on and they captured some incredible aerial shots of the venue that 1000% elevated the video, highly recommend! They were so amazing! It was so fun shooting with them and they were so professional and the photos turned out AMAZING!!! They were very organized and were always super on top of things. We loved using Scarlet Oak to help capture our special day! They were incredibly easy, straightforward, and fun to work with through-ought our planning. I believe photographers add a big piece to your wedding vibe and flow. Erin and Ellie were fantastic! They swept in with all of their gear and captured timeless classics and celebratory memories we will never forget, with ease and joy. Many wedding guests were blown away by their quality and professionalism as well as their sweet and cheerful presence - and we referred them to new clients without hesitation. The photos were a dream and the highlight reel has been replayed....well I've lost count how many times now :) Elli and Erin worked seamlessly together to capture stunning videos and photos and helped to keep everything moving right on track - being flexible if needed.
