Great Experience

I have been using SBD Events services for the last 10 years and the quality of wor has remained exceptional. I definitely recommend to anyone who wants an event to remember to use their sevices. The Owner Demetra gives great customer service and she is very knowledgeable. The last event she did for me was a 40th birthday party with a circus theme. It turned out better than I ever imagined. I gave her my colors and theme and she made all my dreams come true. I highly recommend this company.

Take my breath away!

I can't even begin to praise enough about what an amazing experience it was to work with Demetra, the owner of SBD events for my January 2023 wedding! From the initial consultation up to my wedding day, Demetra was beyond courteous, supportive and professional with excitement to help make my day special and exactly what I wanted.
Her work is jaw dropping beautiful! My guest, and friends who were not able to attend my wedding, but saw pictures, can't get over how beautiful she decorated my venue with draping and lighting. ABSOLUTELY STUNNING is not enough to describe Demetra's décor work along with her team. I still have people commenting on the stunning work SBD events did for my wedding. I CAN’T NEVER THANK HER ENOUGH. MY WEDDING WAS MAGICAL BECAUSE OF HER!

Excellent Decor

I have attended several events that were organized and decorated by Sbdevents. They ranged from a 10 person intimate brunch to a wedding for several hundred guests. Each occasion was organized, timely, beautifully and appropriately decorated. The owner Demetria Cunningham has an excellent staff. She is creative, professional, extremely knowledgeable, creative, and fairly priced. I'm planning my vow renewal for 35 years of marriage with Sbdevents. During COVID safety protocols were outstanding 👏🏼

Mesmerizing work

Demetra went above and beyond our expectations! Her draping is a work of art and totally transformed the venue into a fairytale scenery. From beginning Demetra was very attentive to our needs and our budget and presented creative ideas to bring our vision to life. She is also a very caring and pleasant person which made it a wonderful experience working with her. I highly recommend her services!

D & H 2018 Wedding

Our “Fantasy Table Skirt” was beyond our expectations. It was soooo beautiful as you can see from our photos. And much more pretty in person. Demetra was very professional and has a sophisticated style. She doesn’t believe in settling for nothing less than the best for her clients. I would recommend her if class and style is want you’re looking for. We LOVE you Demetra and thanks so much for making our “Wedding Day” a memorable one.

It was a pleasure working with Demetra from SBD Events her company is a hidden Jewel. I got married in July and my guest are still complementing me on how glamorous the decorations were. I will highly recommend her. She can Glam any event at any location... look no further, she is the TRUTH!

The best decision we made for our wedding was deciding to work with SBD EVENTS! Our wedding decorator Demetra did an absolutely amazing job! She guided us through the entire process, made us feel at ease with everything and, gave great vendor recommendations that fit our budget and style. Demetra and the entire SBD Events team are second to none! I hosted a Cotton Club/Gatsby themed New Year Eve affair and from the moment I met with Demetra I knew and felt I have selected the perfect person to carry out my dream. She is extremely professional, attentive to every piece of detail and serves as a personal consultant that provides that extra above the top touch to her designs. As I was celebrating a milestone birthday for my husband I knew that I wanted a grand presentation and that is exactly what Demetra and the SBD Events team delivered! I received SO many comments about the draping and specialty linens after my wedding., My mother was pleased as were my guests. SBD created a look of elegance for my special day that I could not have gone without. The cake stand, draping and specialty linens......all photographed beautifully!
I will surely recommend SBD events to anyone who is in need of this type of service. I am happy that I went this route and would do it all over again!

Demetra Cunningham of SBD Event Décor did a Fabulous job creating a perfect party atmosphere for my nephew's Super 16 Birthday Party, at a family owned Italian Deli Restaurant. Demetra transformed the restaurant into a teen's dream party place just the way we wanted! Demetra did the decorations for my daughters sweet 16 birthday party and it was amazing!! We were so happy how everything turned out. She was easy to work with, reasonably priced, and very professional! I hired her because I didn't want to have to do all of the decorations the day of the event because I wanted to focus on my daughter, mission accomplished !! Demetra was hired for our daughters sweet 16 birthday party. She was recommended and I could not have been happier with her decorations. Demetra Cunningham of SBD Event Decor does the most magnificent work! She created an elegant decor for my son's outdoor wedding at a yacht club, in addition to the bride and groom's sweetheart table with backdrop and also the cake table. SBD events managed to completely transform what was a somewhat plain, if drab room into the wedding fantasy that my wife and I had wanted. They managed to do this under a very tight timeline due to a previous event at the venue (SBD didn't have a previous event, the venue did) but still managed to make it happen perfectly. I would DEFINITELY recommend Demetra to anyone looking for an event planner. She was helpful, professional and on time, kind, caring, and was able to take my vision and turn it into a beautiful event. I loved working with her and everyone who attended our wedding loved the decorations, both for the ceremony and the reception. WOW!! Is the word that my guests had when they walked into my venue, and it was all thanks to Demetra from SBD events! She draped my room and set up my fantasy table sweetheart and cake table. Her work is truly amazing but above all, she is great to work with. I added some additions to my original requests and she was quick to respond by both email and phone, she knows what she doing and gets it done great! Loved everything Demetra did for my wedding. Got so many compliments. Not only was our reception beautiful but, our ceremony pictures were lovely too. The crystal drape for our back drop for ceremony and sweetheart table were very original. I would recommend Demetra to anyone who was planning an event.

An Absolute Delight!!! I was blown away with what you did in our ceremony room. So rare to find vendors that want to make you happy and work within your budget and expectations. Draped and lighted 3 different areas for my wedding and totally changed the look of the location. My pictures are gorgeous and it is because Ms. Demetra and SBD Events. Dametria is wonderful. My wedding day was July 6, 2013. She turned my reception into a fairy tale you almost forgot where you were.. The room was so beautiful with the beautiful chair covers, uplights, and the logo on the white dance floor. Everyone said it was the wedding if the year. For our 50th anniversary we wanted an event elegant, classy, beautiful, simply breathtaking. We interviewed a few planners and decided on Demetra at SBD Events. Her radiant personality and professional skills immediatelly convinced us that she was the only one capable of achieving what we wanted.

We were absolutely right. Everything went smoothly, flawless. the decorations were fantastic,all our guests were so happy and impressed. All we could hear was: WOW! From the tables dressings and the lighting to her incredible FANTASY CAKE TABLE and crystal trees we were all living a dream.

It was a night to remember for us,our family and friends. This was an intimate party, only 50 guests, mostly family. Our concern of not being able to have a lavish party due to the small crowd was vanished, Demetra came through and made our dream possible.

At our request, she made recommendations for catering, we were very pleased to choose one that provided the best service. The food was exquisite and the staff ws professional, efficient and courteous.

We have recommended SBD to our family and friends, no matter how how large or small the event or what the occasion or theme, Demetra can do it all. To us, she is a creating genius. She surrounds herself with members of her family for the .execution of her job and it is easy to observe the efforts and love they show, they enjoy what they do. We think this contributes to the final product.

Demetra with sbd events is the best!! My sweetheart and cake fantasy table skirts were absolutely beautiful. Everyone loved how they matched the ceiling drapes with the twinkle lights. Her work is amazing and she is super nice and professional. Her prices are great for what you get and you can add stuff up until your wedding day. The colors matched perfect and the rhinestone cake stand she gave me was beautiful also. My colors were dark purple and she made my vision come to life. With out those table skirts my reception would have been boring!!! I wish i could get married again just to have those decorations again!! My set up looked like her photo but just with purple. Great job demetra!!

The event was lovely, and we were delighted to have SBD EVENTS to be included. The extravagant Fantasy Table Skirt absolutly transformed the room, it's such a classic to add to any event. I don't know any vendor who has as much flair and style as SBD when it comes to Event Planning.

We were having a 21st wedding anniversary for our Pastors. SBD gave us excellent directions on decor and value for our small budget. They were accomidating and very patient with us. On the evening of the anniversary, our pastor told us "this reception was nicer than the one on our wedding day!" We will only refer all our friends, family and church members to SBD Events. SBD Events was AMAZING!

I recently got Married and Demitria provided the draping, lighting, fantasy table cloths,cake stand and other hints of decor for our event.Demtria surpassed my expectation she executed the transformation in a professional and timely manner. Although I used multiple vendors the room was very cohesive and Demtria and the other vendors worked as a team to pull together the total look.

Although I was involved in the planning of our special day SBD Events helped my mom to pull off many surprises. I walked into the Shatto Ballroom and I felt as though I was in a palace. You truly brought our vision to life, our wedding was more then a platinum wedding ,I prefer to call it it a royal affair.

Thank you for making my day as beautiful in reality as it was in my mind. I am forever greatfull.

I was a very indecisive bride and Demetra went above and beyond to make sure that our wedding was just as I envisioned. On our wedding day everything was perfect. My dream had come true. Everything was so beautiful, tasteful, and extraordinaire. My guests were lost for words because the ambiance and the elegant decorations took their breath away, as they continuously complimented on how their eyes never behold anything like that before. From the exquisite chair covers, table designs, floral arrangements, candy-bar station and many other items to mention, it was a fantasy for everyone who partook in our glorious celebration of commitment and love. Everything was like a portrait of timeless beauty. Even Oprah's events could not compete with the moments we beheld that evening. I can only imagine how beautiful heaven must be, because you made it possible for us to have a part of heaven here on earth. Every bride deserves to be treated like royalty on her special day, and you made sure that I was treated like a queen.
