  From the very beginning, she was very quick to respond to our communications. Her suggestions on locations were very helpful.
  
  I contacted her a year in advance and sent her photos of bouquet, hair, and makeup ideas. Come the time one year later, everything was spot on.
  
  Her vendors did a really wonderful job. The bouquet was gorgeous. The cake looked and tasted amazing. The hair/makeup artist was very sweet and dolled me up exactly the way I wanted.
  
  The spiritual ceremony script that Laura wrote was very beautiful and reflective of both my husband and I.

  Amazing job!

  Laura did an excellent job of making sure the wording was everything we wanted for our service. Provided us with a script prior to the wedding so we could look it over and make little tweaks if we wanted to it. She was early to the service and made sure we understood the marriage license process and answered any questions we had! Highly recommend!

  Laura was just lovely. The area was so beautiful and she made our day so special. She even let us use the area to take our pics later with our tripod. I would recommend her to anyone.

  Laura helped us create the perfect intimate wedding that was everything we could have hoped for. We found Laura online and despite us being in Minnesota we felt like she got to know us on a personal level, so much so that the service reflected our past, present and future.   Laura was an amazing officiant for our elopement

  Laura was extremely helpful from start to finish with the elopement process. She had a conversation to get to know us and our love story, since we were from out of state. She was open to ideas and suggestions, but also had her own thoughts to share on ways to word our vows, etc. We needed that guidance. Throughout our vows, and the entire day, she made us feel so completely comfortable. We highly recommend her to make your day as Perfect as ours was !!

  Our Alaskan wedding was extra special with the help of Laura Wilson! She helped plan our wedding day and went out of her way to make sure certain things were taken care of. From addressing paperwork, arranging flowers to having my dress location suggestion for being steamed and ready. The location was beautiful at her property near a river and the mountains! Laura was attentive and professional! Our day was so memorable!

  Laura is very easy to work with!

  Responsiveness from the beginning is why we choose Laura with Say Yes Alaska. She was extremely easy to work with and walked us through each step of the process. Would recommend her 100x’s over! We paid extra for her to travel quite a distance and it was worth every penny.

  Our ceremony was quick and simple which Say Yes easily accommodated. Laura provided exactly what was asked and gave us complete guidance regarding what we needed on our part and how everything would happen. Her ceremony seemed heartfelt and catered to our request.   Piece of cake, wedding cake that is!

  Luara/Say Yes was fantastic to work with! She was personable, accommodating, flexible (we changed our date at the last minute to a day early and she had no problem with it), informative (pretty much told us all we had to do on the 'legal' side of it as far as getting the license and such, even sending links to websites for the necessary info) and funny. Laura listened to our needs and wishes, provided suggestions and didn't try to force her agenda on us or change anything up. The ceremony was short and sweet as requested and everything went as planned without a hitch. I think she was more excited than we were!

  Smooth Snowy-Sailing

  My fiancée and I were looking for a hassle free elopement experience that didn't break the bank, and "Say Yes," definitely pulled through in ways that we didn't know we needed them to. The whole process was pretty simple on our end, and even when we had weird requests, like getting married half a mile down a trail in a snowstorm, the officiant and witnesses pulled through and even seemed to enjoy the experience (which helped us from feeling bad about making them all get out in the snow!). Overall, they were super helpful, and friendly, and even the people at the Vital Records department in Anchorage expressed gratitude for Say Yes when we told them that's who was helping with our services. Overall, great experience that took the stress out of planning an elopement.

We chose to go forward with a counseling session with Laura @ “the tents” prior to the big day - the location was so serene and intimate, and all the personal touches to the tents and grounds were unforgettable. Difficult to put into words… but when you get there, you’ll understand what we mean! We were fortunate enough to have Laura as our officiant for our ceremony, and we felt like we were married by an old friend. She has a way of making the whole process so simple and warm. We also really appreciated the time she took with us after the ceremony to go over what to do next, as well as the keepsake marriage license she had ready for us as a little surprise. 10/10 experience - thank you for EVERYTHING, Laura!

  Very Responsive, professional and personal

  Kerry and Team were the best. We contacted them within a month of our wedding and they worked to get our dream day planned and they gave so many great recommendations to make it even better then we could have hoped for. They even took care of the finer and more confusing legal details that we didn't know how navigate. They were also very cost effective which was a bonus!

  Our elopement with Say Yes Alaska

  My husband and I recently eloped in Hatcher Pass, Alaska. We were fortunate enough to have found Laura Wilson of Say Yes Alaska to officiate our wedding ceremony. Laura was amazing throughout every step of our adventure, from the first steps of the planning process, to sending us on our honeymoon and life together. Throughout the experience, Laura communicated with competent professionalism and authentic friendliness. She recommended the breathtaking spot where we were married, she explained what we needed to do to get our license and she filed it after our marriage, and she recommend experiences and accommodations before and after our wedding day. Laura coordinated with a florist, photographer, and witnesses so that my husband and I were able to focus our attention and energy on one another and our happiness. Laura took the time to get to know us before the big day, and we felt like we were married by a friend. She had many conversations with us before our wedding day so she could alleviate any stress and personalize our experience. Laura inquired about our vision for the ceremony. Then she drafted a ceremony, sent it to us for feedback, applied our requested changes, and sent us a second draft. All of the energy that Laura put into this process made our ceremony feel perfectly unique. Our ceremony was exactly what we wanted: magical, fun, and laid back. Laura even surprised us with some special touches that made our day unforgettable. It is difficult to find the words that to describe how highly we recommend Laura and Say Yes Alaska. Very responsive and really listening to our needs, she arranged amazing wedding in a very short time, in a quiet and beautiful location.   Grateful for Laura!

  We are so thankful to Laura for being our wedding officiant! She learned our history as a couple and tailored the wedding script just for us. She helped us navigate the marriage license application process after the state’s website was hacked! We had nothing to worry about during the ceremony, we just followed her lead and she made us feel very comfortable!

  Professional and fantastic to work with

  I was a less than idea customer, in that I had a lot of things going on in life at the time and was not the best at being responsive or quick with communication. On top of all of that I work nights in healthcare so my schedule is a mess and makes it kind of difficult to get ahold of people during "functioning hours" for me. Even with that, Laura was amazing to work with and made the whole process so wonderful. She was patient and understanding with me, and was on top of communication and providing helpful information and making sure I had though of everything (did I consider what time my ceremony was vs how long it would take us to get back to town for dinner reservations, would restaurants in the area be open at that time, inclement weather planning, backup planning, ect). We were from out of state and applied for our marriage license during the time frame that Alaska vital records had been hacked and was having issues processing applications. Laura made sure to check in with us along the way to ensure we were still making progress and helped out any way she could with the stress of making sure we had all of our paperwork in order. As if that wasn't enough, one of our witnesses had an unexpected medical issue and with less than a week from the elopement, we found out he could no longer be at the ceremony with us. Again, Laura jumped right in and told us not to worry, if we needed a witness she could help with that, and not let it stress us out. As for the ceremony itself, she was so professional, kind, and absolutely knocked it out of the park.

  Laura was such an awesome addition to our wedding day. She made our wedding so great because we able to focus on each other and our guests and enjoy the day. Most importantly, she is just an awesome person! Would recommend her to anyone!

  Bringing Laura on as our officiant and day of coordinator was the best decision we made for the wedding. Not only was she incredibly organized and communicative, she was also highly knowledgeable of our venue and familiar with all of our vendors. She knew the questions to ask we would never have thought of. Even for a small wedding, we had some complex logistics and planned the event from out of state, so her expertise and availability were priceless. We cannot recommend her enough.
