We traveled to Alaska for our elopement in September 2025, and choosing Laura as our officiant was the best decision we made! She is incredibly kind and professional.
From the very beginning, Laura put so much effort into preparing our ceremony script, making sure everything felt personal to us. We even met up the day before to check out the venue, which put our minds at ease. The riverside location she has is absolutely breathtaking—perfect for an intimate ceremony.
On the big day, everything went smoothly. Laura handled everything professionally and even helped us find a witness. If you are looking for a stress-free, beautiful, and memorable wedding experience in Alaska, I cannot recommend Say Yes Alaska enough! -

Writing this as a wife still feels surreal, and so much of that joy comes from the incredible experience we had with Say Yes Alaska. Our wedding day was everything I hoped for and more—peaceful, intentional, and deeply meaningful.
We were married in one of the most stunning settings imaginable: majestic Alaska mountains standing tall in the distance, with a beautiful river nearby gently flowing through the landscape. The scenery felt alive and grounding, like Alaska itself was part of our ceremony. It created an atmosphere that was both powerful and incredibly intimate.
Our officiant, Laura Wilson, was absolutely wonderful. She brought such warmth, calm, and sincerity to the ceremony. Her words were thoughtful and heartfelt, and she made the entire experience feel personal rather than scripted. I felt completely present and supported in that moment, which allowed me to truly soak in every second.
What stood out most to me was how natural and stress-free everything felt. There was no pressure—just love, connection, and the beauty of standing with my partner, committing our lives to one another in a place that felt sacred and timeless.

Laura at Say Yes Alaska was very professional & easy work with. She is great on communication, since we live out of state, she was prompt in answering email & providing links to get the license & other vendors we might need. The venue is situated on the Knik River with a backdrop of the mountains where you can’t find a better spot for photos. We had a very small, simple & intimate ceremony and this venue turned our special day into an unforgettable celebration.

Laura is wonderful! She is thoughtful and professional. She provided a script for our vows and encouraged us to create a meaningful exchange with each other on our special day. We had a couple conversations on the phone to go over the script. She asked us to share our story with her (only if comfortable, which we were). She came early to the ceremony and helped us after to do our paperwork for our marriage license. Laura was warm and welcoming right from the beginning. You can tell she enjoys what she does. My husband and I traveled to Alaska to have an intimate and private elopement with just the officiant and photographer present. We had planned to do the ceremony near a popular waterfall, but the trail was super busy. Laura and our photographer (Lauren Roberts) knew exactly where we could go instead and brought us to a pebble beach next to a glacier creek that was just a 5 minute drive away, and it was everything we dreamed of ♥️ She was kind, flexible, creative, and the ceremony was lovely 🥰Say Yes Wedding Officiant's reply:

Our Alaskan wedding was extra special with the help of Laura Wilson! She helped plan our wedding day and went out of her way to make sure certain things were taken care of. From addressing paperwork, arranging flowers to having my dress location suggestion for being steamed and ready. The location was beautiful at her property near a river and the mountains! Laura was attentive and professional! Our day was so memorable! -

Laura was extremely helpful from start to finish with the elopement process. She had a conversation to get to know us and our love story, since we were from out of state. She was open to ideas and suggestions, but also had her own thoughts to share on ways to word our vows, etc. We needed that guidance. Throughout our vows, and the entire day, she made us feel so completely comfortable. We highly recommend her to make your day as Perfect as ours was !! -

Laura's service was top notch! She made our wedding day extra special!
From the very beginning, she was very quick to respond to our communications. Her suggestions on locations were very helpful.
I contacted her a year in advance and sent her photos of bouquet, hair, and makeup ideas. Come the time one year later, everything was spot on.
Her vendors did a really wonderful job. The bouquet was gorgeous. The cake looked and tasted amazing. The hair/makeup artist was very sweet and dolled me up exactly the way I wanted.
The spiritual ceremony script that Laura wrote was very beautiful and reflective of both my husband and I.
The ceremonial table with the cake and Prosecco was beautifully adorned.

My fiancée and I were looking for a hassle free elopement experience that didn't break the bank, and "Say Yes," definitely pulled through in ways that we didn't know we needed them to. The whole process was pretty simple on our end, and even when we had weird requests, like getting married half a mile down a trail in a snowstorm, the officiant and witnesses pulled through and even seemed to enjoy the experience (which helped us from feeling bad about making them all get out in the snow!). Overall, they were super helpful, and friendly, and even the people at the Vital Records department in Anchorage expressed gratitude for Say Yes when we told them that's who was helping with our services. Overall, great experience that took the stress out of planning an elopement. -

Our experience with Say Yes was WOW from start to finish. We chose to go forward with a counseling session with Laura @ “the tents” prior to the big day - the location was so serene and intimate, and all the personal touches to the tents and grounds were unforgettable. Difficult to put into words… but when you get there, you’ll understand what we mean! We were fortunate enough to have Laura as our officiant for our ceremony, and we felt like we were married by an old friend. She has a way of making the whole process so simple and warm. Laura did exactly what we asked for and more. We had a fairytale elopement and it included our children so beautifully. She helped pick out a location since i was having trouble since i am new to the area and even played a song i could walk down to while getting married in the mountains. Laura was great to work with. Very organized, responsive, and she worked to make sure our ceremony was styled the way we wanted it. She gave us a beautiful keepsake copy of both the ceremony content and the marriage certificate. She was well dressed, spoke clearly, didn’t rush through, and gave great instruction during the ceremony since we didn’t do a rehearsal. Everyone in our family complimented on the quality of the ceremony. It was outdoor and destination, so lots of variables could have made it difficult. Wedding on a Glacier
Kerry was amazing!!!! She was very personable and fit right in with our small group. Our wedding was on a glacier and with advanced notice, Kerry was very accommodating and helped with plan B’s in the event weather would not allow our ceremony on the glacier. Hire say yes alaska!
We hired Say Yes Weddings to officiate our Elopement at the urging of our Photographer. Within an hour of our request Ms.Laura contacted us to let us know she was available and her pricing and process. We immediately hired her. We received a packet to fill out regarding our wishes and then scheduled a time to meet via phone to talk about the details. We both very much enjoyed meeting with her and discussing our wedding.
Our officiant, Ms. Kerry of Say Yes, was early to the venue to meet us there and we instantly felt comfortable and relaxed with her! The ceremony was perfect. We knew exactly how it would go before we got started. Ms. Kerry read the ceremony beautifully and elegantly. By the time it was over I felt as if we’d met a new friend!
We are both Type A neurotic people and the Say Yes Team went out of their way to make sure we had the elopement ceremony of our dreams.
Forget the fear and stress of the pandemic, forget the wedding jitters, just hire Say Yes and they will ensure your day feels like the beautiful moment it should feel like!!!!Say Yes Wedding Officiant's reply:

Don’t look anywhere else! We did this with a weeks notice and Laura delivered results and guided us on how to get the proper paper work! She was by our side the entire way. We decided on an Elopement. She provided 2 witnesses for us. Laura does have a lot more to offer but we just wanted simple, and her simple was quite beautiful. Laura and her team made us feel uniquely important on our cold day in Alaska! As for the price it was very affordable. When I approached Laura to be our wedding officiant, she mentioned that she had prior appointments for that day. Unlike other vendors, she found a replacement for us and arranged a call for us to get to know her better. She knew that we would want her before anybody and over a period of a few days, she somehow accommodated us in her schedule (I was happy out of bounds for this). Not only was she super helpful with suggestions during the prep phase, she was very punctual in sending reminders. We were flying from out of state and knew little about court processes. Laura made sure we were up to date with our paperwork and submitted everything on time.
Laura also gave us a keepsake certificate of marriage which had mountains on it. Oh my god how pretty that is!
I highly recommend her as she conducted our ceremony with immense sincerity and a constant smile.

Amazing Experience!
We could not have been more pleased with our choice in hiring Say Yes. Laura was easy to work with, prompt with responses, and such a joy to work with on the wedding day! Laura is a top-notch officiant that we truly can not express enough praise about. Planning an Alaskan wedding from Arizona can be daunting...but she was there to accommodate each and every request, especially a last minute change to a helicopter glacier wedding. She is extremely responsive, timely and professional. She made special efforts to make our vows just perfect and also recommended a lovely local florist. She traveled and took the ride with no concerns.
Rest assured that if you need an officiant in Alaska, “Say Yes” is the place to go. We picked this company on just a hunch and boy, we were right! Thank you for making our day the beautiful memory it was.

Amazing service from amazing people
These ladies were AMAZING! I cannot say enough good things about them. We had a pretty spontaneous elopement and the person we were going to use as our officiant wasn't able to get a flight. I contacted Laura the day before the wedding and miraculously she was able to get everything together and make it work with only a days notice. Kerry performed our service and she was so sweet and so accommodating. We really enjoyed working with her. I could go on and on about how great they are. Laura was a great officiant for our ceremony. Our ceremony was written beautifully and the details were perfect for us. She was very flexible when we asked to move the ceremony up by 30 minutes and was even helpful in finding a new hair and makeup artist when mine cancelled. Laura is extremely professional and helpful. She left the entire ceremony in our hands. We told her what kind of ceremony we wanted and she wrote a beautiful script that captured exactly what we wanted. She is also flexible. We chose a remote lake for the ceremony and she met us there with no hesitation. Laura takes care of filing all the paperwork and provided us with a beautiful certificate that we can frame. She is also reasonably priced. Laura's fee is $275 plus travel expenses. However, she offered us a discount because we got married on summer solstice. Laura is so wonderful that I can't imagine our day without her!
Laura was so amazing to work with on our ceremony that I now consider her a friend. We had a simple elopement that was interrupted by a pesky pandemic. We weren't sure if we were going to be able to come to Alaska, but we made it! Laura was fabulous to provide vows to work from and was 100% encouraging of us to make everything personal to us...cut and paste other vows, add personal tidbits about each other etc. Laura is great at the details if you need to know what to do prior to get your ducks in a row and she files your paperwork afterward, so you don't have to worry about a thing. A joy to work with
Laura was so great to work with. She made our rehearsal and wedding day seem so easy. Things came up during our rehearsal and we were behind on schedule. I felt so bad for wasting her time. Laura patiently waited for us and calmed me down. Laura made our ceremony such a beautiful and meaningful event. I would highly recommend her for your big day! -
